So today

No - all throughout this week

London has been

The weather has been so lovely

So it's been very enjoyable

And now

The sun is shining brightly and there are some clouds

There's also a cool breeze so

I'm going to go have a picnic at the park

and go buy some strawberries

It's strawberry season in London

There are lots of strawberries

Look at the weather

Picnic blanket!

I brought something to sit on

I'm taking strawberries as well

To the local park!

To be honest this video isn't about the picnic

I wanted to talk you guys about what happened yesterday

That is why I am filming right now

I was going to make a fun episode about yesterday but

It was too hectic

And I ran out of battery while filming

So I couldn't film properly

I'm going to make this like a chat with you guys

So kinda like recounting my day to you..

I'm going to tell you about yesterday!

Yesterday,

It's Sunday today, so it was Saturday yesterday

A festival occurring in England

Occurring in London

There was a Korean festival

And there were heaps of people

I was invited around 2-3 weeks ago

I was kinda dumbfounded

because I was invited as a VIP guest through e-mail

So I got to attend the festival

I did not know there would be that many people

The moment I arrived it was so crazy

And the first thought I had upon arriving was:

"Whatever I say my voice is not going to be picked up in the recording"

It was an odd feeling

Being in London and seeing English people enjoying Korean culture

And the highlight for me was

It was this

Joel and Dan were MC's!

So morning till night

they were both MCing

And both Dan and Joel are such characters

I was a bit worried

I thought, "Could they MC with no problem?"

But seeing them professionally MC

I was so proud as a friend

Josh was also proud

It was really cool to see

They were both very well-spoken

They were running the program very well

And I loved seeing that

Oh I've arrived at the park!

And by now you're probably thinking,

Is Gabie eating strawberries without washing them?

It's organic so it should be fine

Mmm yummy!

Anyways after that

The first floor was jam packed

The second floor was packed as well.. and there was food at that level

It was where they sold food (2nd level)

They also sold different products

To get to the second floor

The waiting time would be 40-45 minutes

And I arrived a bit late so

I didn't even have time to wait and the event finished

And then

Sydney was invited as well

With Sydney and her fiancé

We met up

We went to a nearby pub

The event in the afternoon and evening are different

So we have a three-hour gap

Two hours? Yes two hour gap

So I'm meeting up with Sydney

We're going to eat dinner and go back

But in London when the sun comes out

The sun shines so brightly it hurts.. so we couldn't stay out for long

We moved indoors

Out bums were getting hot so we decided to indoors

But it was hot indoors as well

Because in England air conditioning is rare

But surprisingly though this was an English pub,

It was a fusion pub

There was Italian and Spanish food

So we ordered paella and traditional English sausage and mash

And we had Italian prosciutto and salami

And shared it all together

We enjoyed our meals

We returned back to the festival

Because at night it was a concert

The invited people had to go upstairs so we went up

We're still entering

We're upstairs

I think it's worse to be upstairs

It's too far!

Way too far

It was really cool to see

Very surreal

The four groups came

It was so cool to see!

To see this many people knowing Korean culture

Because of K-pop,

people are looking and finding interest in Korean culture

I really felt that

It was really great to see

I learnt that there were so many people in England

who know and find interest in Korean culture

It was shocking for me

Seeing non-Koreans

recognising me, Sydney, Josh, Joel and Dan

and asking to take photos

and saying they watch our videos

It was so, so cool to see

I was just really dumbfounded the entire time

I was just in awe

I was like is this real or a dream?

It felt really weird

And the concerts were really entertaining

*The moment I was proud of Joel and Dan!

I realized K-pop is so influential

these idol groups

are really promoting our country

they play such an important role

K-dramas as well..

TV programmes as well

Idols, actors and actresses,

They're playing a massive a role

I felt that the influence is powerful

And of course, my husband Josh did a great job as well! Right?

I was really proud

I felt that we were getting something done

I do not know the idol groups in person

but I was still proud of them

and seeing K-pop

Seeing that many English people

Gathering to dance and sing along,

Seeing how they were loving it

I was very thankful and really proud

If you are studying or working abroad and encounter these sorts of festivals

It's really cool

You'd be proud and inspired

You'd think, "Wow, they admire and care about our culture"

because of the singers and actors

these great performances and songs

our country is being noticed

Come to think of it, I met Josh at K-con in L.A.

But the feel in KCON was slightly different

It was a bit more...

Wasn't it different?

Because KCON....

Kinda.. there were a lot of Korean-Asians

You're right there were lots of Korean-Americans

Haha did I say Korean-Asians?

But yesterday it was super diverse

There were a lot of black people,

Heaps of middle-eastern people,

Lots of caucasians,

And that was really cool to me

In the U.S, because we are Asians

They were more familiar to us

But yesterday

It was shocking

To see such diverse group of people

Different cultures and races

gathering for celebrate Korean culture

that was awesome to see

Really

And also I want to say hi to all the people who took photos with us!

It was so hectic yesterday

that I seemed so out of it when you guys approached me

I was like "huh?"

I couldn't adjust to the environment

Witnessing it with my own two eyes and feeling it

Felt it in my skin (?)

I saw the power of Hanryu (Korean Influence) in London

Also the strawberries here are delicious

Also I didn't get to talk to Dan and Joel properly

You guys did an amazing job

And I hope that you both become people who spread Korean culture

Fabio Aru's Argon 18 Gallium Pro Bike - Duration: 3:06.

- [Tom] This is Italian champion Fabio Aru's custom painted,

brand new,

Argon 18 Gallium Pro.

The frame, the Argon 18 Gallium Pro

has had a very recent update,

with some very subtle changes made.

It's lighter,

they've worked on the geometry slightly,

and they've worked very closely with the Astana team

just to deliver an absolutely World Tour,

Grand Tour, race-ready frameset.

The bright, shining red custom paint on the frame

is a nod to Aru's Sardinian heritage,

and on the top tube, up towards the stem,

you can see a motif with Fabio Aru's name,

and also the Sardinian flag.

The Argon 18 lettering, the Astana Pro Team lettering,

and also the Premier Tech lettering all shine in silver.

Starting at the very top of the build,

Aru's put a Prologo NAGO Evo saddle,

with Nack carbon fibre rails.

Prologo, actually, while we started filming this,

fitted a custom Italian flag thing--

I don't know what it's called--

at the back of the saddle,

just to show that Aru is the most recent

Italian national champion.

That sits on an FSA K-Force seatpost.

Moving to the front of bike,

and also FSA is the stem,

and the K-Force carbon fibre handlebars.

Attached to the handlebars,

Aru's using black Prologo bar tape,

and he's using the older version

of Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 shift and brake levers.

Linked up to the shift

and brake levers is a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 rear mech;

the older style,

and an older style Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 front mech.

The brakes are both Shimano Dura-Ace,

and they are the newer style,

but they are not direct mount;

they are just a single bolt to mount those.

The chainset is an FSA K-Force Light chainset,

and FSA have closely collaborated with Power2Max

to get the Power2Max power metre on there.

Pedals are LOOK KÉO Blade.

The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra,

and the chain is Shimano Dura-Ace.

Wheels are supplied by French brand Corima,

and those, for Aru on this bike,

are the S32 tubular carbon fibre wheels.

The tubular tyres are Schwalbe Pro One HT,

and they're actually a test version,

which you can see from the serial number

stamped in blue on the side wall.

Bottle cages on this bike are Tacx,

and they are carbon fibre,

with the emphasis for Aru,

who is a grand-tour favourite and climber,

really being on light weight here.

It's time now for some vital statistics.

The tyres are marked up as 25mm wide,

and they come in at about 24.6mm according to our callipers.

The cranks are 172.5mm in length,

and a quick run over Aru's gearing again;

he's on 39/53 chainrings,

and an 11 through to 28 cassette.

His saddle height is about 77cm,

and the reach from the nose of the saddle,

which is actually slammed right forward on the rails,

to the centre of the stem,

which is a particularly short stem for this size of bike,

is around 54-55cm.

The stem is an 11cm stem,

and the handlebars measure 42cm centre to centre.

The weight of the bike:

that comes in at just over 6.8kg,

after all, Argon 18 did say they've been working very hard

to get the weight of the bike down and as low as possible.

JUVENTUS are reportedly ready to fight Liverpool for Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij. The 25-year-old is out of contract next summer and has so far refused to sign a new deal with the Biancocelesti.

Stefan de Vrij is wanted by Italian giants Juventus.

The Dutch defender had looked set to join Liverpool in a £25m deal. Jurgen Klopp appeared to be leading the chase for the Dutch centre-back but Corriere dello Sport claim Juve are now in the hunt for the star.

The Serie A giants are desperate to recruit the ace from their rivals are will battle the Reds all the way for his services. De Vrij impressed for Lazio last season as they finished fifth in the table.

Premier League Liverpool have also been linked with his defensive partner Wallace as Klopp seems intent on strengthening his backline. But the De Vrij is his main target as he plots a £25million move for the ace.

The Reds are still interested in £60m-rated Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk.

Stefan De Vrij now faces a tough choice on his next destination.

Jurgen Klopp is desperately trying to bolster his defence.

However, after being reported to the authorities over their approach for the Holland international, the Saints are unlikely to want to do business with the Kop men. And that leaves De Vrij as the main man in Klopp's sights.

President Buhari's kinsmen plead with Nigerians to leave him alone

- The people of Daura, the presidents hometown, say they are unhappy with the way Nigerians are treating matters about Buharis health. - They say Nigerians should respect his privacy and let him rest.

- The kinsmen say instead of invading the presidents privacy, Nigerians should be praying more for him. Kinsmen of President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura have pleaded with Nigerians to stay out his private life and pray more instead for his quick recovery.

The kinsmen made the plea in various messages to Nigerians during a visit by The Punch to Daura, the president's hometown in Katsina state.

Leading the kinsmen Lawan Saidu, Ahmed Haroun and Seidu Awalu, who are elders in Daura, who said the President should be left alone to recuperate. They also urged Nigerians to pray more for God to grant Buhari good health.

"Anyone can be sick, so why is everybody attacking the President as if he is not a human being? The last time he was in the country, he told Nigerians that he was ill and had never been that ill, so what else do you want him to do?" Awalu asked.

An unnamed senior official in the Emir of Daura Umar Farouq Umar who said the president's privacy should be respected.

He said: "We offer prayers for him here on a daily basis and every Jumaat; we pray for him in the mosques and eagerly look forward to his safe return to Nigeria very soon.

Katsina State chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress Mallam Tanimu Saulawa said: "I believe the President had done what was expected of him constitutionally before his medical trip.

This is our President and Nigerians, irrespective of tribe or religion, should show the spirit of nationalism. "We should rather intensify prayers for him for his recovery because the national responsibilities on him are enormous.

NAIJ. com had earlier that the Buhari Youth Organisation (BYO) Lagos state chapter urged Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state to stop negative comments about President Muhammadu Buhari's health.

The state coordinator and the general secretary of the organisation, Mr Waheed Odunuga and Mr Adekunle Aderibigbe, respectively, made the appeal in a statement they jointly signed on Friday July 14, in Lagos.

According to them, the governor should have left behind the 2015 Presidential election outcome and move forward in the interest of the nation.

What is Buddhism? - Duration: 10:16.

Buddhism, the mere mention of it brings to mind tranquil monks and ancient temples.

It's one of the world's largest and oldest religions.

But if you live outside of Asia you probably don't know much about it.

So what is the story of Buddhism and what do Buddhists believe.

Let' find out.

The story of the Buddha takes many different forms and you're supposed to believe whatever

version helps you the most.

I've read many different accounts of the Buddha's life, some portray him as a normal

man while in others he's essentially Captain Planet.

I've condensed the different accounts together and left in all the import parts.

The future Buddha was born, painlessly from his mother's right side, in modern day Nepal.

To King Suddhodana and Queen Maya rulers of Kapilavastu.

The King named him Siddhartha which means "He whose aim is accomplished".

An old hermit named Asita came to visit the child.

The apparently very trusting King and Queen let him hold the baby.

Asita claimed that this child would become a great emperor but if the boy ever left the

confines of the palace he would instead become the spiritual leader to the whole world.

King Suddhodana, who had gone to the Disney villain school of parenting, decided to imprison

his son in the palace.

Never letting him see the outside world.

No signs of decay were permitted.

Flower petals were swept away as soon as they fell.

Sick and old staff were sent away.

Siddhartha was unaware that pain, ageing, and death existed.

In order make sure his son would never leave the King had Siddhartha married at 16 years

old to Yashodara.

It was love at first sight between them.

They had loved each other in many previous lives and may have mated while they were tigers

at some point...

They had a son named Rahula, who was not a tiger.

They all lived happily ever after in the King's pleasure palaces.

Until a musician, damn musicians ruining everything, came and sang of the wonders of the world.

Chandaka had obviously not gotten the King's memo.

This revelation blew Siddhartha's mind.

On the next 2 trips Siddhartha saw an old man and then a dead man.

Siddhartha became depressed knowing that everyone he loved would eventually grow old and die.

On his fourth visit he met a homeless traveller.

This man had renounced all material things and was looking for a spiritual escape to

life's suffering.

Siddhartha inspired by this random homeless man decided he too needed to go on a spiritual

quest.

He made Chandaka take him far away.

He then sent Chandaka home to tell Siddhartha's wife and child that he was doing this because

he loved them.

He needed to discover an escape to life's suffering and if he didn't death was going

to part them eventually anyway.

Which is, eh, that's a bleak thought.

Moving on....After some wandering and studying meditation Siddhartha went to go live with

5 ascetics in the woods.

The ascetics practiced extreme deprivation in order to achieve enlightenment.

Siddhartha began a 6-year fast.

Sitting exposed to the elements and eating nothing but seeds that fell into his lap.

This effort turned out to be pointless however.

Siddhartha realised that his mind was slow and clouded...

On account of the starvation.

This relation taught him that the true path lay between indulgence and deprivation.

He would later develop this concept into the Middle Path.

He gave up his fast by eating a bowl of rice milk.

His 5 ascetics friends left in disgust thinking Siddhartha had given up.

Siddhartha wandered until he came across a fig tree.

He was determined to sit under this tree, meditating until he reached enlightenment.

After 49 days of intense meditating he did just that.

At 35 years of age he had become the Awakened One, the Buddha.

The tree he sat under became known as the Bodhi Tree.

The direct descendant of this tree can still be seen at Bodh Gaya in India.

After some consideration the Buddha decided he would share his knowledge with the world.

He found his 5 acetic friends at Deer Park, Sarnath.

And there he delivered his first teaching or Dharma.

Revealing for the first time his 4 Noble Truths.

The 5 ascetics became the first members of the Sangha, the Buddhist Monk Community.

The Buddha would wander the Gangetic Plain for the next 45 years..

Gathering thousands of followers and accepting people of all genders, class, and castes into

the Sangha.

He died at 80 near Kushinagar.

His followers had him cremated and his remains were spread throughout the Indian subcontinent

under monuments known as Stupas.

Which continue to be important pilgrimage sights today.

Buddhism would eventually spread out of the Ganges region.

First down south to Sri Lanka and South East-Asia.

Then north over the Silk Road route to Central and East Asia.

It would spread from Tibet to Mongolia where under the Mongol Empire it then made it's

way to Russia.

Later on it would be exported further West.

So now that we know a little bit about the life of the Buddha let's explore the core

beliefs of Buddhism.

At this point it's important to note that the Buddha lived around 480-400BC and his

teaching were recorded orally for centuries.

Because of that oral tradition there are a lot of numbered categories.

Which made it easier for people to memorise and recite.

Numbered categories like the 4 Noble Truths which are:

Noble Truth Number 1: Life is suffering.

No matter what you do in life you will suffer.

Ultimately everyone grows old, gets sick, and dies.

I know depressing right, it's gets better later on.

Noble Truth Number 2: We suffer because of craving.

We are attached to impermanent things and because of this we are destined to suffer.

We need to change what we want rather than get what we want.

Noble Truth Number 3: We can escape for this cycle of suffering.

Yay!

Noble Truth Number 4: The Noble eightfold path will help us escape suffering and reach

enlightenment.

The Noble Eightfold Path is the Middle Way that the Buddha discovered.

It lies between the deprivation of the ascetic and the indulgences of a young prince.

You don't follow each step one after the other.

It's more of a wheel that you spin all together.

Step 1 is Right View or Understanding: It is understanding the 4 Noble Truths will help

you stop suffering.

You need to see that everything in the world is impermanent.

Step 2 is Right Intent: Why are you doing things?

If they are done out of anger or greed they will only cause suffering.

If they are done out of love and compassion they will remove suffering.

Step 3 is Right Speech: You should not hurt people with your words.

You should not deceive people, obscure the truth through muddy language or take part

in gossip.

You should be truthful and clear.

Step 4 is Right Action: To always strive to do good in your actions.

To not act in a way that is negative.

Right Action covers the 5 Precepts.

Which are like Buddhist commandments.

They are;

Do not harm living creatures Do not steal

Do not engage in sexual misconduct Do not lie or harm people with words

Do not take intoxicating substances

Step 5 is Right Livelihood: You should earn your living in an ethical way.

You shouldn't be involved in arms or drugs trading or in careers that involve hurting

animals or people.

The Buddha spoke out against slavery in his time.

Step 6 is Right Effort: You should always go about your life with a positive attitude

and enthusiasm.

You should want to improve who you are.

Step 7 is Right Mindfulness: You need to pay attention.

When you walk in the park you need to live in that moment.

You shouldn't be thinking of something awkward you did in school or whether you'll be promoted

next year.

You should be able to live entirely in the present by being mindful.

Step 8 is Right Concentration: The ability to focus on a single object or concept.

Be it a rock, Polar Bear, or Cats Gifs.

Right Concentration helps you focus your mind and see things how they truly are.

Right Concentration and Right Mindfulness are important parts of meditation.

By following the 8 fold path you can reach Nirvana.

The state of enlightenment the Buddha reached under that tree.

You reach Nirvana when you extinguish all wants and desires.

Ok so let's take a more bird eyes look at Buddhism.

Buddhism is split between two major branches, Theravada and Mahayana.

Theravada is the older of the two.

It is considered to be more orthodox as well.

They think of the Buddha as a more human figure and there is a focus on using meditation as

a way to reach enlightenment.

Within Theravada Buddhism there is the belief in 3 things.

Nothing is permanent, life is suffering, and there is no self.

There is a huge emphasis on monastic life and rebirth in Theravada Buddhism.

Only monks can really reach enlightenment.

Mahayana Buddhism, which means Greater Vehicle is younger and considered to be more accessible

to normal people.

It is called Greater Vehicle because of its inclusivity.

Mahayana also contains a lot of different schools such as Zen, Tantra, and Pure Land

Buddhism.

They believe that enlightenment can be achieved in a single lifetime and that you don't

need to be a monk to achieve it.

Mahayana is the more religious of the two and has things called Bodhisattvas, which

are people that have achieved enlightenment but delay Nirvana to help others do the same.

There is also more emphasis on idols and god-like beings.

Today Buddhism is the religion of around 488 million people or about 7% of the world population.

Nearly all of them live in the Asia-Pacific region at 98.7%.

Every other region has fewer than 1% each.

Buddhists though only make up about 12% of the Asia-Pacific population.

Half of all Buddhists live in China but there are large Buddhists populations across Asia

especially in Thailand, Burma and Japan.

So there we have it.

The life of the Buddha, the 4 noble truths and the 8 fold path explained.

This video is meant to be a quick introduction to the topic and is part of a larger world

religions series.

I hope that I managed to teach you something new and who knows maybe some of you are one

step closer to reaching Nirvana.

✅ OBS Studio - Adding Twitch Chat Overlay to Your Stream - Duration: 10:22.

What's up guys, it's Pete here once again for the Gaming Careers YouTube channel. Today

we're going to be talking about how to add twitch chat, specifically a completely

transparent version of your twitch chat into your stream. This is useful because

it helps keep chat interaction going, people like seeing their names on the

stream so they'll be more tempted to chat on your stream if they can see it

actually in the video and know that their name's going out to all of your viewers

and it's also useful for maybe some of the quieter times during your stream

like queue times or loading screens it's useful just to have something else there

to keep people entertained and to keep the stream going. Now there's a few

different ways of doing this and there's a lot of old information on the internet

about how to do this because it didn't used to be so easy so you can see lots

of popular guides on using IRC or removing the background color using a

green screen and all these kind of things but it's much much simpler now

and there are still a few different software solutions but we're going to be

going with streamlabs since we've used that software for so many different

videos that we've had here on the gaming careers YouTube channel, if you haven't

seen the other videos on streamlabs we've done stream labels so how you get

things like donation amounts and also stream alerts how you get like the

actual subscription alerts appearing on your screen so if you haven't checked

them out I'll put them in the top corner but for this one we're going to be

talking about their transparent twitch chat and how to add that to OBS.

Finally if this is your first time at the Gaming Careers YouTube channel, we're a

YouTube channel specifically dedicated for you guys to be able to make a

profession out of gaming be it through streaming or through YouTube or through

any other means so if you are new here take a look around at some of the other

videos we've got in the channel and consider subscribing but let's jump into

the video!

The first thing we need to do is to head over to streamlabs.com and you'll be

greeted with this welcome screen and we can just click login to get started. Next

you'll be asked to connect your streamlabs account with one of their streaming

services so we're going to use twitch for this so just click connect with

twitch. Now if this is the first time that you've used streamlabs you'll have

to login to your twitch account and authorize the streamlabs application to

access some of the API functionality through twitch, but if you followed some

of the videos before you will have already done this and you should get

taken straight through to your dashboard. Next we need to look down on the left

hand side under the widgets tab and find chatbox and select that. Now you should

see a screen similar to this where you will get a preview of some twitch chat

some just randomly generated twitch chat, as well as some of the options below.

This preview here is going to aim to replicate the fonts and theme that you

choose so you can get an idea as to what it would look like on your stream. Now

the first option that you'll be able to customize is the theme so if you're a

bit of a coder you can dive right into the deep end with some custom CSS if

you'd like this way you can ensure that you'll have a chat overlay that's

completely unique to anyone else on Twitch. But if you're lazy like me you

can see the kind folks at streamlabs have already made some of the themes for

you so you can just browse through some of these options and see how they look

in the preview and choose the one that suits your needs best. The next options

allow you to choose between which badges you want to show in your stream so if

you check or uncheck these you should see them appearing and not appearing in

the preview window above. I recommend having them all enabled because these

people have either supported you or supported twitch indirectly supporting

you, so I recommend having these all checked

but obviously it's completely up to you how you want to customize the look of

your twitch overlay. The next option is to enable some additional emotes, all

the twitch emotes are already included so people can spam their Kappa's and

you'll see them in your twitch chat but this is an option to enable some

extensions, if you want to enable more emotes than

just the twitch ones. The next option is for background color, now I imagine the

majority of people are going to want to have a transparent twitch chat so it can

be overlaid of some sort of design on their stream setup, so if you that is the

option then leave the background color at black which is all zeros but if you

want to do something more creative and have a certain colored background then of

course you can change that here. Text color, similar to background color,

customize it if you would like to I think white and black is the most

readable so I'm going to leave mine at the default and with font size you might

want to bump this up just a little bit from 22 but obviously you can come back

to these settings and play around with them later so once we actually get a

preview in OBS you can decide whether or not you want to change the font size and

just come back and it will automatically update. The hide messages after option

this allows you to set a timer for how long messages should appear, now for busy

streamers that are getting lots and lots of chat interaction obviously after

about 15 seconds there's probably enough chat going on that it's it's been bumped

off the list anyway but if you are a smaller stream and not getting quite as

much chat then you can set this option here for how long you want the message

to be displayed for before it disappears. You can also choose to always

show messages which can be a useful option if you want to always have some

chat appearing on your stream but if it's slow it does look a little bit

stagnated so I think the hiding messages after around 15 seconds is actually a

good choice. Next we get the option to hide some chatters so you can hide the

common chat bots, this is a useful option if you don't want you know moobot or

nightbot commands to be appearing on your stream chat obviously they'll still

actually be in your twitch chat but this is just customizing what gets shown in

the overlay. You can also choose to hide commands starting with an exclamation

mark so if people are constantly asking your chat bot certain things like what

your current rating is or what mouse you use and things like that and you don't

want those clogging up your stream overlay then you can also hide those

commands here. Finally you get the option to mute certain chatters again this

isn't going to mute them from your actual twitch chat, if you wanted to do

that you'd have to go into your twitch dashboard, but this

allows you to mute certain chatters from your twitch chat overlay that

you're going to be streaming with in OBS. Once you're happy with all your settings,

click Save Settings and next we will scroll back up to the top and get the

link for OBS. So up here at the top we have the widget URL just click to show the

widget URL, select it all and copy it because we will be pasting that into OBS'

browser source. So in OBS we're going to select the scene that we want our twitch

chat overlay to be a part of, then go across the sources click the plus icon

and select browser source. Now if browser source isn't an option

for you and I get asked this about a hundred times in every OBS video that I

do, that is just purely because you either downloaded OBS before it was

included as part of the OBS studio package or you didn't select it during

installation so all you need to do is re-download OBS, don't worry

all your settings will prevail so you won't lose anything but in the

installation make sure that you are selecting browser source as one of the

plugins that you want to install it should already be selected but you might

have just downloaded OBS before it was an included package. Back to OBS, so if

you select browser source a new window will pop up, name it whatever you want to

name it I always recommend naming it something so you know exactly what it is

so I'm going to call mine twitch chat and hit OK, and the new window that pops

up you want to be pasting in that long URL from streamlabs into the URL box so

just as a reminder go back to streamlabs, click to show the widget URL, copy

the whole thing and paste it into the URL box here in OBS. For width, height, fps

and CSS feel free to play around with these settings if you want to but

honestly they are absolutely fine as they are, so you can just hit OK. Now what you'll

see is a red transparent box which is great, the reason it's not showing

anything is probably because there's not any chat going on in your channel right

now so move this into the position where you think roughly you want the twitch

overlay chat to be and then if we open up our twitch channel in our browser so

for me I'm going to go to my channel on Twitch. Now if we type in a chat message

into our twitch channel chat, you should see it appearing into OBS as an

overlay so feel free now to play around with the exact positioning where you

want it, how big you want it, if you want to scale it big you can drag this bottom

corner if you actually just want the font to be bigger I'd recommend going

back into streamlabs and changing the font size but really now is your time to

play around make sure that you're putting it exactly where you want it to

be and it is appearing how you want it to appear. So spend some time typing into

your twitch chat lots of different messages to make sure that you're

covering all the different scenarios so people typing long messages, people

typing emotes like kappa, and all those kind of things just make sure that your

stream set up is going to be completely ready for the next time you go live and

people are going to be amazed by your new twitch chat overlay. The final thing

to mention guys is that you don't need to have the stream labs website open for

any of this to run now, you can close that down and your twitch chat will

forever be linked to this source that you've added to OBS so you can completely

close down the website if you want to and you don't need to do anything at the

start of your stream other than just making sure that exactly your sources

are in the right order and everything was as you last left it. I hope you found

control where something is gonna happen to me that I don't know what it's gonna be

and you would dig that and would come out of that and you would say "wow that was a

close shave, wasn't it?" then you would get more and more adventures and you would

make further and further-out gambles what you would dream and finally you

would dream where you are now

So today

No - all throughout this week

London has been

The weather has been so lovely

So it's been very enjoyable

And now

The sun is shining brightly and there are some clouds

There's also a cool breeze so

I'm going to go have a picnic at the park

and go buy some strawberries

It's strawberry season in London

There are lots of strawberries

Look at the weather

Picnic blanket!

I brought something to sit on

I'm taking strawberries as well

To the local park!

To be honest this video isn't about the picnic

I wanted to talk you guys about what happened yesterday

That is why I am filming right now

I was going to make a fun episode about yesterday but

It was too hectic

And I ran out of battery while filming

So I couldn't film properly

I'm going to make this like a chat with you guys

So kinda like recounting my day to you..

I'm going to tell you about yesterday!

Yesterday,

It's Sunday today, so it was Saturday yesterday

A festival occurring in England

Occurring in London

There was a Korean festival

And there were heaps of people

I was invited around 2-3 weeks ago

I was kinda dumbfounded

because I was invited as a VIP guest through e-mail

So I got to attend the festival

I did not know there would be that many people

The moment I arrived it was so crazy

And the first thought I had upon arriving was:

"Whatever I say my voice is not going to be picked up in the recording"

It was an odd feeling

Being in London and seeing English people enjoying Korean culture

And the highlight for me was

It was this

Joel and Dan were MC's!

So morning till night

they were both MCing

And both Dan and Joel are such characters

I was a bit worried

I thought, "Could they MC with no problem?"

But seeing them professionally MC

I was so proud as a friend

Josh was also proud

It was really cool to see

They were both very well-spoken

They were running the program very well

And I loved seeing that

Oh I've arrived at the park!

And by now you're probably thinking,

Is Gabie eating strawberries without washing them?

It's organic so it should be fine

Mmm yummy!

Anyways after that

The first floor was jam packed

The second floor was packed as well.. and there was food at that level

It was where they sold food (2nd level)

They also sold different products

To get to the second floor

The waiting time would be 40-45 minutes

And I arrived a bit late so

I didn't even have time to wait and the event finished

And then

Sydney was invited as well

With Sydney and her fiancé

We met up

We went to a nearby pub

The event in the afternoon and evening are different

So we have a three-hour gap

Two hours? Yes two hour gap

So I'm meeting up with Sydney

We're going to eat dinner and go back

But in London when the sun comes out

The sun shines so brightly it hurts.. so we couldn't stay out for long

We moved indoors

Out bums were getting hot so we decided to indoors

But it was hot indoors as well

Because in England air conditioning is rare

But surprisingly though this was an English pub,

It was a fusion pub

There was Italian and Spanish food

So we ordered paella and traditional English sausage and mash

And we had Italian prosciutto and salami

And shared it all together

We enjoyed our meals

We returned back to the festival

Because at night it was a concert

The invited people had to go upstairs so we went up

We're still entering

We're upstairs

I think it's worse to be upstairs

It's too far!

Way too far

It was really cool to see

Very surreal

The four groups came

It was so cool to see!

To see this many people knowing Korean culture

Because of K-pop,

people are looking and finding interest in Korean culture

I really felt that

It was really great to see

I learnt that there were so many people in England

who know and find interest in Korean culture

It was shocking for me

Seeing non-Koreans

recognising me, Sydney, Josh, Joel and Dan

and asking to take photos

and saying they watch our videos

It was so, so cool to see

I was just really dumbfounded the entire time

I was just in awe

I was like is this real or a dream?

It felt really weird

And the concerts were really entertaining

*The moment I was proud of Joel and Dan!

I realized K-pop is so influential

these idol groups

are really promoting our country

they play such an important role

K-dramas as well..

TV programmes as well

Idols, actors and actresses,

They're playing a massive a role

I felt that the influence is powerful

And of course, my husband Josh did a great job as well! Right?

I was really proud

I felt that we were getting something done

I do not know the idol groups in person

but I was still proud of them

and seeing K-pop

Seeing that many English people

Gathering to dance and sing along,

Seeing how they were loving it

I was very thankful and really proud

If you are studying or working abroad and encounter these sorts of festivals

It's really cool

You'd be proud and inspired

You'd think, "Wow, they admire and care about our culture"

because of the singers and actors

these great performances and songs

our country is being noticed

Come to think of it, I met Josh at K-con in L.A.

But the feel in KCON was slightly different

It was a bit more...

Wasn't it different?

Because KCON....

Kinda.. there were a lot of Korean-Asians

You're right there were lots of Korean-Americans

Haha did I say Korean-Asians?

But yesterday it was super diverse

There were a lot of black people,

Heaps of middle-eastern people,

Lots of caucasians,

And that was really cool to me

In the U.S, because we are Asians

They were more familiar to us

But yesterday

It was shocking

To see such diverse group of people

Different cultures and races

gathering for celebrate Korean culture

that was awesome to see

Really

And also I want to say hi to all the people who took photos with us!

It was so hectic yesterday

that I seemed so out of it when you guys approached me

I was like "huh?"

I couldn't adjust to the environment

Witnessing it with my own two eyes and feeling it

Felt it in my skin (?)

I saw the power of Hanryu (Korean Influence) in London

Also the strawberries here are delicious

Also I didn't get to talk to Dan and Joel properly

You guys did an amazing job

And I hope that you both become people who spread Korean culture
