Youtube daily report Jul 5 2017

This week…we spend an extra night at Yosemite National Park in our Class B Camper van and hike the Mist Trail to see the waterfalls.

I was able to book this spot for two nights online because there was a last minute cancelation.

And I've been checking everyday since, and yesterday while we were on our hike

I was able to snag another spot in the same campground just across the way.

And it looks like they're leaving so were going to get moving and move over to that spot.

It's kind of fun. We're leap frogging from spot to spot.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

[Kait] And today is a Saturday so the fact that you were able to grab that spot I think is pretty lucky.

Yes and it is a gorgeous day today.

Well let's get packed up and we can move over.

[Joe] There they go!

The trail for Vernal Falls runs right along the campground.

Get a jump on all of the day hikers.

[Joe] It is kind of flooded back here though.

[Kait] A little bit.

[Kait] That one is a little tricky.

I don't have the best balance.

1.5 miles? No Problem.

I say that now, I'm probably going to regret that later.

And...you want me to go all the way up to here!

[Kait] Only if you want to.

[Kait] I can't go with you because I have to go back to Leo.

It's gorgeous up here and the water is really helping cool things down.

I'm hot!

[Kait] Let's keep going!

Holy crap!

If this is only moderate and the next one is strenuous, I'm not going to be able to go any further.

We made it to the bridge, now we're going to the top of Vernal Falls.

Only 0.3 miles left, we can do this.

Who needs a shower when you can climb Vernal Fall?

Vernal Falls now ranks as my number one hike.

That was an incredible experience.

Ohh feels good!

That's Nevada Falls in the background and we are calling it quits here.

We're going to save something for our next trip to Yosemite.

Now we're going to hit the cut off for John Muir Trail for the way down.

I should have just gone this way!

We may not be hiking up to Nevada Falls but that is a pretty incredible view.

[Woman] Am I going to be in your selfie?

[Woman] What do they call that, a photobomb?

Yep, Photobombing!

It's absolutely beautiful up here.

I wouldn't mind coming back and doing this all over again.

I just have to wait a week or so to recover.

Ah finally the decent but sometimes going down is harder than going up!

[Kait] Two miles.

2.3 miles.

The moment we've all been waiting for.

All I could think about coming down that trail was having some watermelon.

Anytime we see fellow travelers like this

We have to stop and see what's going on.

Central America, North America, Argentina

It seems that way.

[Kait] We'll have to check them out, they have a Facebook page

It's always exciting to meet fellow travelers, wish we could say hello.

[Kait] Well we might run into them later.

I'm going to miss this campground.

Oh, he loved it here. Right little guy?

[Kait] Leo wants to know why we're leaving today, the coolest day it's been since we've been camped here.

It's in the low 40's, why are we leaving?

Noon on a Sunday, how long do you think it's going to take to get out of the park?

[Kait] Uh, it shouldn't be too bad.

[Kait] It's nice to take it easy, we're in no hurry.

This is true.

[Kait] And we get to enjoy a very slow...slow almost like a moving tram view of Yosemite.

[Joe] From Texas.

[Kait] We've seen a lot of camper vans here and little RV's.

A lot of homemade camper vans too. Did you see the 4x4 Mercedes this morning?

It was just an air mattress with insulation inside.

[Kait] I did.

That was kind of cool.

[Joe] I like the guy in the space blanket.

[Joe] It's like a space blanket pancho. That's awesome.

Kait met the camp host the other day at Upper Pines.

Now she's determined to get some sort of position or camp hosting gig within the park.

So that we can be here for at least a couple months.

She was saying six months. I might be able to do it for two, maybe three months max.

I don't know how long I could stay in a national park full time.

[Kait] There's a lot to see at Yosemite. It's not a bad place to be a camp host.

I thought there was a bear out there but it's just someone trudging through the grass.

Next time…we wake up at a truck stop and experience the kindness of strangers on the road.

24 Reasons Batman Forever & Spider-Man 3 Are The Same Movie - Duration: 5:13.

This week's video is bought to you by The Art of Conquest.

This comic book movie was the third installment in it's respected franchise and proves it's

not true what they say about the third time being a charm because this movie sucked.

There's a bank robbery and a hostage situation going on and the superhero arrives to save

the day.

His quick thinking allows him to save the security guard hostage, but unfortunately

the bad guy gets away.

It gets to a point where his enemies become too much to manage and more and more bad guys

keep popping out of the wood work.

He thinks to himself "where do these guys come from" (audio).

The truth is all of the bad guys in the movie are created as a result of the super hero's

actions.

One of the villains wants revenge on the hero because the hero is responsible for the accident

that caused him to become two faced with half of his face being regular and the other side

looking like burned bacon.

Another villain named Edward is obsessed with the hero and takes photos of him, studies

his every move and stalks him day after day which eventually leaves him to madness.

Not only is the superhero haunted by bad guys, but in his personal life, he's haunted by

his childhood.

When he's not fighting crime, he's suppressing horrific childhood memories about the death

of his parental guardian.

Witnessing your father figure die right in front of your eyes is tough for any adult

or kid to handle.

He talks about father issues with his love interest in the movie to keep from going insane

(audio).

He loves the chick, but just like Chris Brown used to says.

These hoes ain't loyal.

The girl is supposed to be in love with him, but she leaves him for this other guy and

dances the night away with him after she googles his net worth.

What she doesn't know is that the guy she danced with has an alter ego just like the

hero.

He's the villain who dresses up in the green suit in the movie.

The girl tells the hero that she's in love with someone else and he gets super pissed

(audio).

Afterwards, he starts flirting with the better looking chick with the blonde hair and you

think he's trying to get into a serious relationship, but he's only using her.

The bad guys try to find out the bad guys weakness and I mean, they try everything.

There's a scene when the hero follows them to the construction site and they even try

to kill him sand.

It's a stupid idea and no surprise, it doesn't work.

They soon realize, kryptonite, bullets, or kung fu etc. doesn't kill superheroes in

comic book movies, breaking their hearts do.

The villains join forces and plan on learning the good guy's true identity to hurt everyone

he cares about.

They find out his identity (audio).

What they don't know is there's an unwritten rule for comic book movies that aren't in

the MCU.

Excluding girlfriends, if someone finds out a hero's true identity, they either die

or get amnesia (audio).

But anyways, later on in the movie, there's a fight at the rich guy's mansion.

The one in the green suit breaks through the secret passage door and he uses this little

bomb thingys to destroy all the extra suits and computers.

The hero gets frustrated and wants to quit.

He feels like with great power come great liability and he's sick of getting blamed

for crap all the time.

He literally gets blamed for 80% of the deaths in the franchise.

One of the dudes in the movie blames him for the death of his father (audio).

The butler tells him to chill out and to blame hid daddy's death on old age, God, or script

writing.

The dude agrees and agrees to be the hero's side kick from now on.

The villains shine a signal in the sky for the whole city to see, but they're only

worried about the good guy reading it and answering the call.

He does.

(audio) He puts on a different suit than last time then him and his side kick get there

and find the girl suspended in the air.

If she falls, she dies basically.

She does fall, but the hero thinks quickly, shoots his string, catches the girl, and swings

her to safety.

They defeat both bad guys.

The first one suicides himself to death after he tries tries to catch something he had no

business trying to catch and he ultimately leaps to his doom.

They let the other one live, but ironically let the franchise die as a result of the movie.

Those are 24 reasons these movies are the same.

9 and 11 and we know that jet fuel can't melt steel beams, so I believe that Doomy Fisto was behind 9/11.

Judging by his name, I believe he's going to be the first Canadian hero. Let's move on

The article says that someone broke Orgrim Doomhammer out of prison in doing so they killed over a dozen people

This tells me that the culprit was really strong and must have really wanted the handjob of doom

so I'm ninety seven and a half percent sure that the person who broke Mega Fister out of jail was none other than

Terry Crews

I think Terry Crews is going to hold him hostage until Blizzard and Jeff-Man pay the ransom

The Ransom being allowing Mr. Crews to be Doom-Man's voice actor

I would also like to point out the part where they talk about when he went to Numbani and beat the shit out of

Orisa's family before she was born. that confirmed for us that it was Fist who attacked Numbani

because for some reason nobody was sure if the guy who fisted a giant robot into a wall and

stole the Doomfist gauntlet, was Doomfist.

Things About The Despicable Me Movies You Only Notice As An Adult - Duration: 5:27.

When you're a kid, the Despicable Me movies seem like a sweet example of how the impact

of love and family can change a man from a villain to a hero.

But seen through older eyes, the movies are full of plot holes and questionable actions

that should bug anyone over the age of 18.

Here are some of the weird things about the Despicable Me movies that you only notice

as an adult.

Public enemy

Being a villain obviously puts you on the wrong side of the law, but Gru doesn't put

much effort into hiding his villainous ways — in fact, he shows it off through the clothes

he wears, the car he drives, and, most notably, the house he owns.

Plus, he kind of pulls out his weapons in public all the time.

"Freeze ray!

Freeze ray!

Freeze ray!

Hahaha!"

While it fits with the over-the-top humor in the Despicable Me franchise, it doesn't

make a ton of sense for a super villain.

The Bank of Evil

Gru funded his villainy through loans from the Bank of Evil, a behemoth of a building

decorated with men getting crushed under pillars.

The bank is the epitome of nefariousness — and if you watch closely, you can see that it

has real-life roots.

In tiny letters under the logo, you can read the words "Formerly Lehman Brothers."

That one probably went right over most kids' heads.

Dad problems

When Gru first adopts the girls, he's completely clueless about what to do with them.

"As you can see, I have provided everything a child might need."

However, when you really think about it, Gru should be an expert at handling children by

now, considering he lives with an army of them.

We're talking, of course, about the Minions.

"Hmm.

Bluhuhh!"

Developmentally, they're probably around the same scale as a 10-year-old, always getting

into mischief and not thinking through the consequences of their actions.

While Gru may not have been prepared for raising a child as young as Agnes, he should have

been ready for anything Edith and Margo would throw at him, considering his history with

his banana-loving sidekicks.

Murky finances

Gru isn't exactly the most impressive villain, which means he probably isn't bringing in

much cash to help pay back those Bank of Evil loans.

Likely somewhere in his mid-40s, Gru's been engaging in villainy since he was a young

boy.

So why would the bank continue to lend him money after all those years?

He's clearly taken out a lot of cash to build his lab and pay the Minions and Dr. Nefario.

He's only a cartoon, but Gru's financial situation is still extremely murky.

And while we're on the topic...

Gru's car insurance

Gru is an awful driver.

Like, painfully awful.

Every time he takes out his huge, gas-guzzling car, he leaves a path of destruction in his

wake.

He also literally kills a guy in the first film.

"Ahhh!"

And it's not like there aren't police in the Despicable Me universe.

While Gru is a villain, he's also presumably an adult with a driver's license — and,

probably, car insurance.

You can't help but wonder about the sky-high premiums he must be paying.

Agnes is heartbreaking

If you're watching the Despicable Me movies a kid, Agnes is a cute, unicorn-loving little

girl.

"It's so fluffy."

But as an adult, you start to realize just how heartbreaking she is.

Some of her lines are pretty tragic, especially when she's looking to be adopted at the beginning

of Despicable Me, and when she's looking for a mother throughout Despicable Me 2.

Her character is literally "orphan girl who wants to be loved."

That's kinda rough for a kid's movie, isn't it?

Miss Hattie is horrible

Everyone knows orphanage caretaker Miss Hattie is one of the villains in Despicable Me.

But when you watch as an adult, it becomes apparent just how abominable she is.

"You're never gonna get adopted, Edith.

You know that, don't you?"

"Yeah, I know."

"Good."

First off, Miss Hattie sends the kids out on the street alone to sell cookies, which

is pretty much child labor.

When kids don't meet her quotas, she puts them in a cardboard box called the Box of

Shame and keeps them there for the weekend, which is just straight-up child abuse.

Yeah, this woman has no business being in charge of children.

Wiigging out

In the first movie, Saturday Night Live veteran Kristen Wiig voiced the girls' evil caretaker,

Miss Hattie.

But adults may have noticed that Wiig came back for the sequel, this time as Lucy, the

super-spy who becomes Gru's girlfriend and then wife.

Wiig reprised the role again in Despicable Me 3, and although she dropped Miss Hattie's

accent, it's still hard not to hear the similarity between the two characters.

"I think we can do a little better than that, don't you?"

"Oh, hey, Gru!

Turns out you were right about the… whole El Macho thing, huh?"

Those who go after the true truth

are truly rewarded for that.

It's dangerous. It leads to pride. It leads to misdirecting your energies.

I thought everyone would see it.

Combo Building: Frontstyle Speed Combo Series - Duration: 3:29.

This is the seventh video in the Frontstyle Speed Combo Series where I am going to be

teaching you some helpful methods in creating your very own Frontstyle Speed Combo.

Now, in our first video we talk about how just about every split bottom trick utilizes

the five core concepts.

While it is not necessary to master all of these concepts, or protrusions, to make a

good frontstyle trick, it does help to have a larger trick set.

That way you will be able to make more combos with them.

Now, when you are ready to start on your first trick, we recommend that you think of it as

a sequence of split bottom mounts.

So you want to start in the split bottom mount.

Perform a sequence of concepts and elements and land back in a split bottom mount.

From there, you simply want to repeat the process with a different sequence of concepts

and elements and go back into a split bottom mount.

As you improve, you want to try returning to the spit bottom less and less.

That way you can create longer sequences that will improve the flow and visual appeal of

your tricks.

As you are exploring your tricks, you are going to find common mounts in the middle

of your tricks that are the same as other sequences you are doing, so you can try splicing

the beginning of one with the end of another to create a brand new unique combination.

Another thing to keep in mind is to avoid repeating elements or concepts.

If you just repeat the same things over and over again, your frontstyle is not going to

be as impressive as it could be.

So, really, try to add a bunch of unique elements because it is not just a speed at which your

perform these tricks that make your frontstyle impressive, it is the amount of unique elements

that you can perform quickly with flow and a specific amount of time.

If you are trying to make your frontstyle combo really stand out, and you find yourself

getting stuck or if you need too many elements, remember the five core concepts can be applied

almost anywhere.

So you are going to try doing a pass or a roll if you get stuck.

If those two do not work, you can try adding in a hit, a pop, or even a boing to try to

make a new transition.

With enough experimentation, you are going to find a transition that will work for your

sequence and make it unique.

Now, once you are comfortable with your speed combo and you want to start working on the

speed, remember that you can incorporate wraps and rolls to artificially shorten your string

throughout your speed combo.

If that does not work, you can also physically cut your string shorter.

That way your tricks are performed a little bit faster as well.

And remember, when you are practicing your speed combo to practice it slowly to develop

smoother movements, because with smoother movements comes greater speed.

Now, you have all of the tools that you need to create the Ultimate Frontstyle Speed Combo.

As you improve, you should try returning back to the split bottom less and less.

That way you can create co- conquests… consequences… concepts… sequences…

That is what I am looking for.

Hiking Yosemite in 4K | Camper Van Life - Duration: 10:36.

This week…we spend an extra night at Yosemite National Park in our Class B Camper van and hike the Mist Trail to see the waterfalls.

I was able to book this spot for two nights online because there was a last minute cancelation.

And I've been checking everyday since, and yesterday while we were on our hike

I was able to snag another spot in the same campground just across the way.

And it looks like they're leaving so were going to get moving and move over to that spot.

It's kind of fun. We're leap frogging from spot to spot.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

[Kait] And today is a Saturday so the fact that you were able to grab that spot I think is pretty lucky.

Yes and it is a gorgeous day today.

Well let's get packed up and we can move over.

[Joe] There they go!

The trail for Vernal Falls runs right along the campground.

Get a jump on all of the day hikers.

[Joe] It is kind of flooded back here though.

[Kait] A little bit.

[Kait] That one is a little tricky.

I don't have the best balance.

1.5 miles? No Problem.

I say that now, I'm probably going to regret that later.

And...you want me to go all the way up to here!

[Kait] Only if you want to.

[Kait] I can't go with you because I have to go back to Leo.

It's gorgeous up here and the water is really helping cool things down.

I'm hot!

[Kait] Let's keep going!

Holy crap!

If this is only moderate and the next one is strenuous, I'm not going to be able to go any further.

We made it to the bridge, now we're going to the top of Vernal Falls.

Only 0.3 miles left, we can do this.

Who needs a shower when you can climb Vernal Fall?

Vernal Falls now ranks as my number one hike.

That was an incredible experience.

Ohh feels good!

That's Nevada Falls in the background and we are calling it quits here.

We're going to save something for our next trip to Yosemite.

Now we're going to hit the cut off for John Muir Trail for the way down.

I should have just gone this way!

We may not be hiking up to Nevada Falls but that is a pretty incredible view.

[Woman] Am I going to be in your selfie?

[Woman] What do they call that, a photobomb?

Yep, Photobombing!

It's absolutely beautiful up here.

I wouldn't mind coming back and doing this all over again.

I just have to wait a week or so to recover.

Ah finally the decent but sometimes going down is harder than going up!

The moment we've all been waiting for.

All I could think about coming down that trail was having some watermelon.

[Kait] And we get to enjoy a very slow...slow almost like a moving tram view of Yosemite.

[Kait] We've seen a lot of camper vans here and little RV's.

A lot of homemade camper vans too. Did you see the 4x4 Mercedes this morning?

It was just an air mattress with insulation inside.

[Kait] I did.

That was kind of cool.

[Joe] I like the guy in the space blanket.

[Joe] It's like a space blanket pancho. That's awesome.

Kait met the camp host the other day at Upper Pines.

Now she's determined to get some sort of position or camp hosting gig within the park.

So that we can be here for at least a couple months.

She was saying six months. I might be able to do it for two, maybe three months max.

I don't know how long I could stay in a national park full time.

[Kait] There's a lot to see at Yosemite. It's not a bad place to be a camp host.

I thought there was a bear out there but it's just someone trudging through the grass.

Next time…we wake up at a truck stop and experience the kindness of strangers on the road.

How y'all doin' I like to get right into it, so the way this

goes is we'll take a shot, I'll ask you a question

and then we'll repeat that for questions 2 and 3

It's a shot of tequila and a ice cold beer, it's delicious

It's one of my favorite recipes in my book It's not really a recipe, it's just a,

uh, way of life and breaking bread, so yeah cheers to that

Question number one How did Texas Humor get started?

I just kinda, honestly as a joke, a literal joke, just you know

because I was bored one night started Texas Humor on Twitter

and started posting content, and just really talking about the stuff

I thought was funny and uh a lot of the things and yeah, it took off

in the early days when we first started, we were picking up

four or five thousand new followers a day and over time we sort of moved not from just

Twitter but eventually into Instagram and Facebook and everything else

and then it, I slowly kinda stopped being a photographer and focusing

on Texas Humor as a whole and honestly became more of like a vehicle

for my obsession with the State and just gave me an excuse

and a financial means to be obsessed with Texas as a profession which was

I grew up in East Texas, south east of Houston, in a town called La Porte

and you know, my experience is the experience that I had there

you can travel across the state and people in different areas,

I mean you can go one city over and things are completely different

you know, so that's to me what's been really interesting is

talking through that type of stuff with people and having opportunity

and this platform of a million and a half people to kind of put out and export

all of the things that I grew up with and that I think are important

and part of what make us, you know, quintessentially Texan

I just feel really strongly, you know, not politically speaking but just culturally

speaking, strongly about doing everything I can to keep that strong sense

of Texas identity, it's just important to me

It's a joke, I mean, Texas Humor is literally, a joke, uh hu, but

It's a vehicle for cultural preservation , is at least how I look at it

What are some of the other projects that you've been working on?

A lot of people don't know, I was a photographer for a long time and

the May issue of Texas Monthly, the cover story was mine

I flew a plane around the state of Texas the whole perimeter of the state

and shot photographs out the window of the ground below and you know

just kinda whatever I saw I'm kind of a busy body, so

we've got our our Texas Humor and e-commerce business

and we've got the order fulfillment business, we're kinda like a mini Amazon

and we work with about 25 other companies, including my friends over at uh

Tecovas boots, make some fantastic boots my first book was called "Y'all Need This

Book The Definitive Guide to Being Texan" and it's just kind of a front to back guide

on how to eat, talk and walk like a Texan

"Y'all Need This Book" it's fantastic, you can find it at Barnes & Noble,

essentially a collection of my favorite recipes and with a little bit

of my spin on 'em and um, and and release that hopefully

the next year and a half or so

So this is what's called a wild rag this one's silk

cowboys used to wear these, still do but Imma show you how to do the uh cowboy

square knot I'm gonna do it fast, it's not true instructions,

it's more just showing you how it looks you can wear it kinda during the summer

keep the sun off your neck, it just looks punchy and

we'll take the same wild rag you'd use during the summer

tie it around your neck, like that so the winter version is really just more

of a scarf kinda style it's made to just kinda keep the heat in,

youv'e got maybe like a vest on or a jacket and it's just there to keep

the cold off your neck both of those are featuring what's called

the cowboy square knot and that's a old school Texan deal

you don't see that quite as much anymore but uh

it's a comfortable and punchy way to dress up.

I Struggle With Resting - Duration: 5:26.

Hey friends! You may have seen earlier this week that Jonathan and I just

released a brand-new music video for our song

"O Great Vine" - which is a really special song to us because it's one of the first

songs that we wrote and recorded together as a ministry - and I just wanted

to share with you a couple of thoughts today. Things that the Lord's been

teaching me from the passage of the song stems from in John 15 - where Jesus is

calling us to abide and rest and bear fruit by being connected to the

Great Vine, Jesus Himself. If you don't know me one thing that you should know

is that I am one of the busiest people that you will ever meet

to a fault - I have a really hard time resting and in fact I reject it for most

of the time. You know I don't know why we try to get away from rest. We know as

human beings that physically we can't live without rest in fact we have to

sleep for a third of our lives but we try to cheat this reality by just

muscling through life or drinking more coffee - eventually it catches up with us

and spiritual rest is no different though it can be a little bit easier to

put off for a while. I know for me as someone who really struggles with

constant busyness that rest often feels like laziness. Though John 15 tells me

the exact opposite it tells me that's the only way that I'm going to bear

fruit. So in truth some of the hardest work that I am going to ever do in my

life - some of the most fruitful work that I'm ever going to do in my life is going

to come from the work of resting. But what I'm learning is that it has to be

the right kind of rest. I don't know what you think of when you think about

resting you might be on the side of things where you're like oh rest is

taking a load off vegging on the couch and watching a movie - or taking a nap

or scrolling through your facebook for an hour. You might be on the side of things

with people like me where rest is getting all those errands done that

you've been dying to do - or tackling that pantry that has looked

a mess for a month and finally getting it organized or even doing good things like

calling friends that you've wanted to catch up with or meeting the people on

your street. All of those things can be restful in a sense and are good but I've

noticed that even when I give myself into all of those so-called restful

things I find out that they're just counterfeit forms of rest because when I

come back from my so-called rest I come back to the same frantic busy weary soul

that was there before - and so I'm so challenged by this passage in John 15

where Jesus says, "Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of

itself unless it abides in the vine so neither can you unless you abide in me.

I am the vine you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him he bears much

fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. I've been thinking about rest

and about bearing fruit and the thought occurred to me how can a branch bear

fruit if it is not on the vine. It can't! - and the reason is that if a branch is

disconnected from the vine it's dead it doesn't matter how productive or

unproductive that branch looks it could be laying on the ground rotting - laziness

or it could be chopped up and made into an awesome house and it could look so

useful but either way that branch is dead and it's not going to produce fruit

I've been sinking into this passage and it just really dawned on me - wow the

reason we have to be attached to the vine is because that is the only way

that we will have life. Jesus is our source of life and so no amount of

resting on either side of this pendulum swing is going to produce the life and

fruit in our lives that we really desperately long for. - I love this quote

that I've read recently by Charles Spurgeon. He says, "by faith we labor to

enter into the rest of God. Jesus Himself is our rest and we are filled to the

brim in Him. - Friend I just want to encourage

you today as well as myself to do the hard work of resting in Jesus through

spending time in His Word through prayer through sharing your heart with Him

through taking time to be still and let Him speak to you letting Him fill the

places and bring life to the places in your heart that only He can. - If you've had a

credentials and after a while it will automatically connect to your Wi-Fi

after the first connection it will automatically adjust the time and it

will start to look for firmware updates since we are now connected it's time to

personalize the LaMetric time in the settings you can choose from a wide

variety of options you can choose how the time and the date should be

displayed and you can also choose from different kind of watch faces under the

clockface settings you will find something very similar to an app store

where you can choose from animated or non animated 8-bit characters which are

by the way all for free

since the LaMetric time isn't

just a normal time piece it's also a smart clock so let's get to the most

interesting part and choose our apps from their app store they have all kinds

of different apps in there it starts with news apps all the way to apps where

you can control your philips hue lights with it since i don't wanted the

LaMetric to be just a youtube counter i installed a bunch of different apps the

first i chose was the Netatmo weather station plugin after that i installed the

Facebook plug-in and I also installed the Instagram plugin and last but not

least the main reason why I bought the LaMetric the YouTube plug-in in order

to get all those plugins working you need to configure them one by one but be

aware all of them have different kind of login procedures and some of them even

can be a bit tricky but you will find detailed instructions how to set up

every plug-in on the LaMetric homepage since the low metric has a built-in

Bluetooth speaker you can use it to get customized

sounds on every notification

the LaMetric time cannot only be used as a YouTube counter it can also count all

your Facebook and Instagram followers but you even get more functionality you

can also access your Netatmo weather station so you will receive different

metrics you define in the App so in this example you can let it show you the

humidity outside temperature or temperature of certain rooms and the

best of it all it is even able to show you graphs so the days of checking your

apps all the time is over but what is all this information work if you have to

shuffle through it every time manually there is a built-in feature that will

scroll through all those informations but it's kind of hard to find so let me

show you where you can find it in the lower part of the apps section you can

bring up a menu where you can choose whether you want the apps to scroll

automatically through or you just want to show it one app at a time by the way

I increased playback speed of the footage in the background so you can see

how beautiful the animations and the graphics look on the LaMetric time

unfortunately my camera can't do those beautiful colors justice I think there

is no cooler way to check your subscriber count the days of hitting

reload continuously are finally over ok so what do you think of the LaMetric

you need you can also develop your own apps for it so sure the LaMetric time is

in the cheap gadget but it will definitely catch the attention of any

visitor you receive and it is really a cool feature to get a notification every

time someone follows you or you get tweets or whatever you like to show on

the LaMetric so in my opinion this thing definitely worth to buy if you can afford
