Hello! I'm Dollightful.

Today we'll be repainting the Korean doll, "Cherry".

A while ago when I was toy shopping at ToysRUS

I suddenly saw these dolls!

After I watched a review of these dolls at my Youtube friend Dinga's channel

I also wanted to buy them.

Because this is a Korean doll, I intend to speak in Korean, but...

Even though I study hard, I'm still a beginner so sorry in advance.

Ironically, the subtitles will likely be more accurate to what I'm attempting to say in Korean.

It'll be good practice...

She's already a cute doll, isn't she?

The clothes are well made and her big head is similar to a Pullip doll, so I like it.

Between the two, my favorite doll is

the pink kitty girl.

I like her ears and cute accessories, and her face is pretty too so I won't be repainting her.

Our schoolgirl's face is cute too, but

I like kitty girl's face better, so I'll be painting a new face on her.

First off let's mask off her hair using a tissue and pins.

Using acetone, erase the face.

Omg;; The whole eye came off on the tissue.

After she's wiped clean, rinse her with warm water and soap.

If you don't clean it off, the sealant won't stick as well.

Once the face is dry, spray it.

Wear a vapor mask and spray with caution.

And don't let her fall!

Let's draw the face!

Before I start, I made a sketch.

If you draw a sketch first, you can do your repaint with more confidence.

So keep the sketch nearby.

If you're curious about materials, there's a list below the video.

These pastels are the Mungyo brand.

They're highly pigmented and spread on very smoothly.

Firstly, I add some initial value.

I paint it on the eyes, lips, and nose.

If you mess up or want to modify something, use a kneaded eraser.

I usually spray the doll again after pastels.

I also detailed the ears but I forgot to film it.

Draw the eye shape with watercolor pencils.

Lately, when I go on walks, I see the occasional student.

I really don't know anything about what's trending for Korean student fashion, so I took observations.

What style is most popular?

What's trending right now?

I wanted to know so I did some research.

After my research, I decided...

Lots of girls like to wear simple cat eyeliner and

like to draw their eyebrows in a specific shape.

So, I'm going to draw similar makeup on my doll's face.

Using brown and black pencils, slowly darken the lines.

Keep those pencils sharp~

After sketching the iris shape, heart-shaped highlight,

and pupil, fill in the color.

Paint in the lips with pink and red.

Taking a sharp white pencil, add highlights at the corners of the eyes and the cupid's bow.

Finish up by polishing the details.

After the watercolor pencils, use acrylic to add bright highlights.

Finished!

Spray the doll one last time with sealant.

Ah, I almost forgot.

If you want to add shiny texture

use gloss varnish.

Add another layer after 1 hour.

I usually do 3 coats.

Once that's dry, she's complete!

Don't plan for what you're capable of doing, plan for the communities you live in.

But you have to exercise about what can happen and not your past history because the future

is changing faster.

You have to exercise until it breaks, because that way things work; You've got to do it

and bring everybody together and exercise as close to real without notice or you're

not going to be where you need to be for a disaster.

How to make Custom Carousel Image in CSS-Tutorial in Bootstrap - Duration: 11:16.

Now we are done with our front end development, that means we have developed our own carousel

slider panel, now let's concentrate into customization of this carousel

slider panel.

So this is the part that we are going to learn, understand in this tutorial...

Just switch on to this mobile responsiveness preview.

We can see that there is a lot more problem in viewing our content of the site, the content

of this carousel slider panel as we can see here that some

of the features those are now lying beneath this navbar-header above and the other thing

is this caption part which is practically creating some obstacles in viewing

the images.

So this is what we have to rectify.

We have to make some customization here.

So we are getting back to our project.

Now first of all, all we need to do, we need to check here what is the div that is where

all these things are lying here.

It is known as the carousel-holder and the other

feature, the other selector name that is practically working here is no-padding.

So all we need to do we need to get back to custom.css,as we haven't created any

particular banner class over here so that is why all we have to do we need to place

It Down below here.

This is not mandatory but we are synchronizing practically

our things.

Copy this thing.

We are copying it.

The same selector name here and we are pasting it.

We have created a class name here which is a div class so that is why here it

will be referred to as div class .carousel-holder and here we are providing a margin-top 3.8em.

Press control + s, get back to your project and reload and you can

see now that it is providing a margin-top over here which is perfectly ok.

Press control + shift + m to switch on to mobile responsive view and we can see that

the full images are now being observed, are now

being seen.

Revert back to our original preview again.

Now if we just look around; Press control -(minus) to zoom out and we can see that practically

this image is getting in a little bit of left shifted.

But this is not the actual thing that we are intending for.

If we get back to our sample project we can see that if we Press control - here, the

image is getting a hundred percent width as we can see here.

Press control + 0 to fit the document into your window, switch onto your actual coding,

that is why we will be activating our firebug element, and

here I will be clicking on this image.

And we may see that inside this div class item practically all these images are

lying.That means these images are coming all along the div class with selector name item.

It is in return coming under carousel-inner.

Getting back to index.htm and first of all, copy this class carousel-inner.

Get back to custom.css here and any element with a class name .item, and any image that

is practically coming within this class .item, and which is in-turn is

coming under this carousel-inner will be having a width of hundred percent.

So this is the thing that we need to recover here.

Deactivate the firebug element, reload.

Now we can see that the image is back into its position.

Press control - and now we can see it is now occupying the

whole hundred percent width of the div class carousel- inner.

So we have successfully changed the proper width the proper display of these images and

this is a very essential one cause in many cases if you are viewing your site

under a 1920 by 1080 pixel dimension then it could be a trouble in viewing the image

and it could have a left alignment, that could have caused you some trouble

in experiencing the full featured display.

So that is why we are just trying to make it compensated over here such that under any

circumstances it always actually fits within hundred percent of this div.

Now once again we need to check it.

So that is why we are getting back to our mobile responsive preview and here we can

see that everything is back in order.

Let's try to customize all these caption elements

as we may see over here.

So first of all, what we are doing we are getting back to our index .HTML.

We have provided some paragraph elements, there are 5 images so

we are copying this 5 times over here.

Pressing Control + s, getting back to our project and reloading and we can see that

it is back in action.

And in the last case what we are doing, we are creating; not here practically..

Now all we did here we practically created a button class with

btn btn-default and with the text sign in now!!

Now if we just sneak into our webpage we can see that a button is already been created

here which is known as sign in now!!

Now all we need to do we need to customize this button.

That is why we are getting back to our index.htm here we can see that this pattern is practically

present within carousel-caption class.

So copy it.

Get back to custom.css and just paste it over here.

So any button that will be under carousel-caption it will be having;

first of all let's see what is the output of this thing, this code.

And we can see that it is practically working.

We have a button which is a little bit of bigger

now.

Now we need to take care of this font-size.

We may increase this font size by specifying here 3em and we can see that font size is

now getting enhanced.

We need a little bit smaller font size so we are changing

it to 2 em.

Checking it and we can see now it is Back in Action.

Now the question is we have to realize it first of

all and the second thing we can see that it is having no effect under this particular

resolution of dimension which is known as 320 by 480px.

So all we need to do we need to change it, we need to make some media

query over here.

Copy this whole thing, come back to your media query and here inside pasting here display

none.

We don't need any sign up button.

Reload.

And now we can see that there is no practically sign in thing as we have seen in our previous

case.

Now all we need to do we need to check it now here at the width of

768px now everything is getting shown here.

The sign in button is now back into track so this is up to you if you want to

keep on your button on, you may keep it over here if you do not wish to have button over

here then all you need to do you need to copy this code again, here, now as it

says min-width 768px, to Max-width 1199px, we are pasting it over here, display none

that means this sign in button practically here will be not having any effect

that means there won't be any kind of display until the media dimension is 1199px or below.

So let's reload and see whether it is valid or not.

We are now reloading it.

And we are clicking to the last item.

And we can see that this button is gone.But if we now get back to our actual display,

into our Browser preview then we can see that the sign in now!!

button is back into action.

At the dimension of 320 by 480px or at the dimension of 480 by 320 we can see that this

If we change it to 768px, it won't be seen over here.

If we change it to 900px, it won't be seen over here.

If we change it to 1100px, it won't be seen over here.

Now the other thing is, if you want to have this these text elements being a little bit

of enhanced in font size then you know the drill.

All you need to do you need to get back to your project here.

First of all get back to index.HTML and you can see that inside this div class carousel-caption,

here goes The h3 so all you need to do you need to copy this carousel

caption class again and you need to get back to custom.css and here...

Press control + s, get back to your project reload and you can see that everything is

now getting bigger,here, as we can see everything is now in proper place.

And in the same manner, if you want for having

no display at all within this 768px or greater, for say, if you don't want to have any display

of this paragraph or caption, or button, everything that is inside

this carousel image slider panel then all you have to do you have to copy all these

things and you have to place these co-relevant coding into this @ media query

here and here.

So this is all about customization.
