How Can We Make The Perfect City? ft. Real Engineering - Duration: 3:39.Hey There!
Welcome to Life Noggin!
About two-thirds of the American population lives in a city.
Sure, the convenience and excitement are great, but city living can be rough.
Ya know...because some cities can look like this…*show city with grey dirty and garbage
and crowds of people* But how can we make this better?
I'm thinking a beautiful utopia from scratch.
Best city ever.
My friend Brian from Real Engineering is here to help me with this video!
So Brian, let's give it a go, shall we?
How Can We Make The Perfect City?
First things first, location.
We'll want somewhere with a good water supply, so near a lake would be great.
Somewhere scenic obviously with moderate but not extreme seasons.
We'll want our city to be small enough to avoid lots of congestion and overcrowding,
but still large enough to have all the amenities us city folk know and love.
Let's say 25 square miles/65 sq km and about half a million people.
A square, 5m x 5m/8k x 8k grid layout would make the city super easy to navigate.
We'd have timely, efficient subways running in straight lines, criss-crossing under the
city.
But above ground, transportation would be limited to bike paths and walkways.
A car-less city may sound a bit extreme but cities like Paris are already losing expressways
to favor bikes and walking.
This keeps citizens healthier and reduces pollution.
Solar panels and wind turbines outside the city and on top of buildings would also lessen
emissions and help our utopian city stay green.
A city with like no pollution sounds ideal.
Our buildings would also follow this eco-friendly path.
We'd construct a densely-packed city with a mix of green office high-rises and residential
buildings.
Vienna does this to help reduce transport time and to keep the city feeling home-y.
All our buildings would be nice to look at and skyscrapers would be covered with vertical
gardens, like they are in Singapore.
People could just reach out their window and pick some veggies for their salad or some
flowers for their loved ones.
Or gather all the tomatoes and throw them at bad comedians.
Whichever you'd prefer.
We'd also want to put a lot of focus on the social aspects of our city, making it
as enjoyable as possible.
Think good schools, fun extracurricular activities, and close-knit communities.
And the legal system would favor rehabilitation
over punishment.
Prisons are super expensive and have very high re-incarceration rates, so we'd focus
on treating offenders to keep our city's population safe and sound.
We'd also help keep people safe and our city green with street lamps that have sensors
to adjust their brightness depending on how many people are out and about, like they do
in Amsterdam.
In order to keep the cost of living down, the government would construct many of the
apartment buildings and offer them up for sale at low costs.
80% of people living in Singapore live in these type of government buildings and it
supposedly fosters a nice sense of community and belonging.
So why haven't we created the perfect city yet?
On paper, it doesn't sound that hard.
But the execution would definitely be costly and require a lot of government collaboration.
It's hard to put a price on a hypothetical city, but based on the costs of other cities
constructed from the ground up, it could be anywhere from $20-40 billion.
So, not cheap.
One thing's for sure though, if we could get this utopian city funded and up and running,
it'd be one amazing place to live.
What type of amenities would you want in a perfect city?
Let us know in the comments.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson reveals why he's disappointed after Man City win ● News Now #LFC - Duration: 2:07.LIVERPOOL captain Jordan Henderson has revealed his disappointment at getting booked late
on in his side's 3-0 win over Manchester City.
Liverpool drew significant first blood in their all-English Champions League quarter-final
as Manchester City were blown away in 45 minutes at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sadio Mane were all on the scoresheet to give
the Reds a huge advantage going into the second leg next week.
However, Henderson's yellow card in the 86th minute after tripping up City winger
Raheem Sterling means he'll miss the trip to the Etihad.
But the midfielder was thrilled with Liverpool's overall performance and hailed the Anfield
faithful for spurring on the players.
Henderson said: "We knew the atmosphere would be brilliant and it was, and we made the most
of that.
"Second half they came at us more, we dropped deep at times.
"Our game is about working together as a team and we did that brilliantly.
We all chipped in with the hard yards.
"It's only the first leg.
I didn't make many fouls in the game so it's disappointing to miss out next week."
And Oxlade-Chamberlain, who bagged Liverpool's second from 25-yards out, admits he has been
working on his long-range shots in training.
The midfielder said: "It was a great start for us to go three up before half time, it
set us up perfectly.
"The crowd, the atmosphere was unbelievable and that's why we started like we did.
"It was a good strike, it opened up for me and I have been working on that."

Cecile Richards - How Planned Parenthood is Faring Under President Trump | The Daily Show - Duration: 8:32.Please welcome Cecile Richards.
(applause and cheering)
-Welcome back to the show. -Thank you. Nice audience.
Oh, amazing audience. Are you kidding me?
-(applause and cheering) -The best audience. -Wow.
Yeah.
-(imitating Trump): I have the best crowds. -(laughter)
-Uh, welcome... -The biggest crowds.
-The biggest crowds, all the biggest. -Yes.
But they never show my audience. Look, show them now.
-They won't show my audience. -(applause and cheering)
They won't show them. They won't show them.
Welcome back to the show.
Uh, we had you on, uh, it was a year ago.
-Exactly a year ago, yes. -A year ago,
and that was just before,
uh, the women's march that took place.
In a year, how have things changed?
Have things changed?
And most importantly, how have they changed
-for women's reproductive rights? -Okay.
So, yes, it's incredible that a year ago we didn't even know
-how the women's march was gonna turn out. -Right.
And it turned out, of course, to be the largest march
in the history of the United States of America,
-which is pretty exciting. -(applause and cheering)
Um... but I think, most importantly, Trevor,
-it wasn't the end, it was the beginning. -Right.
And, in fact, women have been, ever since,
leading the resistance, they've been persisting,
they've been showing up at town hall meetings.
I think now, a year later,
women are the most important political force
in the United States of America.
-And that's really exciting. -(applause and cheering)
The march was big, but this year, um,
Donald Trump decided to make an appearance
as the first president to make a, you know,
visual appearance at the March for Life,
which is opposed to everything that you do.
We actually have a clip of something that he said.
Could you play this here?
Right now, in a number of states,
the laws allow a baby to be born
from his or her mother's womb
in the ninth month.
It is wrong.
It has to change.
(laughter)
-This is... this is... -It's shocking.
-Yeah. -It's uncomfortable to ask, but is it true?
Are babies being born from their mothers' wombs?
-(laughter) -I think the shocking thing is,
-it's been happening for centuries. Um... -(laughter)
And, uh, but...
-This is a... -But here's the thing.
-Yeah. -I mean, he says this, and, look,
-I honestly don't believe he cares about any of it... -No.
...which is why he didn't even notice he said it, but...
but is-is this...?
This is a rumor that you hear all the time--
-that abortions are happening at nine months. -Mm-hmm.
Where is this happening,
and where is this information coming from?
Right. I mean, I don't know where he gets his information.
It's absolutely not happening. Uh...
And I-I think it's...
Look, I think that this is a classic example
of the danger of having people in office,
particularly people who cannot get pregnant themselves,
making decisions about women's bodies and their lives.
-(cheering, whooping, applause) -And, um...
and one of the interesting things that has happened--
and I have to, you know, harken back
to when we had President Obama in office,
who really supported women's healthcare access--
we actually, because of that now,
something like 62 million women now get birth control
in this country at no cost in their insurance plans,
even though President Trump is trying to get rid of that.
And largely, as a result,
we now are at the lowest teen pregnancy rate ever
in the history of the United States.
-(cheering, applause) -And, um,
we're at the lowest abortion rate since Roe was decided.
And it's in large part 'cause women are getting better access
to family planning and birth control,
and a lot of that is Planned Parenthood.
Here's a question I have
that I've always struggled to understand is
why there seems to be a disconnect in an argument.
Some people say, um, they aren't a fan of abortions,
they don't want women having abortions,
they don't want them to have the right to choose.
But then those same people go, they don't want women
having access to birth control, or they're opposed to this.
Is there a way that you can bridge this gap of people?
Do they understand the connection
-between the two things? -(laughter)
Well, most of them do, but unfortunately,
several of those folks are in congress.
And I do think it's important.
Look, um, birth control, it's wildly popular.
I'm just gonna get it right out there.
-(laughter) -Um, more than 90% of women
-in this country use it. -Right.
But when we look at this administration,
and, you know, I mean, Planned Parenthood
was in the crosshairs from day one.
That's what they said: We're gonna, you know,
we're gonna defund Planned Parenthood,
we're gonna take away the Affordable Care Act...
And has that happened?
Actually, this is an important thing.
Paul Ryan said that bill was gonna be on the president's desk
in, I think, early February of last year,
and today is January whatever, and I just will say,
Planned Parenthood's doors are still open
all across the United States of America.
-(cheering, applause) -So... so that didn't work.
Um, that didn't work.
This year, the Women's March, one of the biggest gatherings
was held in Las Vegas,
and Planned Parenthood was there, you were there.
What was interesting was,
-this year seemed to have a shift in focus. -Mm-hmm.
If last year was about mobilizing people to march
and to voice their concerns, this year seemed like
it was about getting people out to do now--
-Right. -women to move into political positions,
women running for office.
Um, you had remarks that were really powerful for me.
You said in your remarks about going out to vote
-Mm-hmm. -that white women need to be better...
white women, specifically, need to be better to black women.
-What did that mean? -Well, I think, uh...
-(applause) -Yeah. Well... I'd love to actually...
Where it began-- I think it is really important
just as a factual matter for folks to know--
is that women of color in this country
are the most reliable voters-- they show up to vote--
and when they do vote, they vote for people
who support women's health and rights.
-And that's just something that is really important. -(cheering)
Um... and so my point in saying that
is one, is to give credit where credit's due,
and to say we need to invest in women of color,
as candidates, as activists, as leaders.
And also, the rest of us need to be doing more.
And that is really to ensure that...
Look, I look at this November, this coming election.
Women are poised to completely change the direction
of Congress, and I think a lot of women are looking,
looking at who's in office and saying,
"I could do better than that."
And I just heard today 30,000 women
have asked EMILY's List
to get training to run for office.
-That is historic. -Wow. Wow.
-And so... um... -(applause, cheering)
So I do think it's important, though,
we-we need-- if women, you know, if they register folks,
if they educate them about what's at stake in elections,
if they show up to the polls,
women will absolutely dominate
in the November 18 elections, and it's about time.
With something that is so crucial,
with a time that feels so crucial, you know,
we can't help but notice that, you know,
there have been reports that came out,
it was BuzzFeed, it was Politico,
saying Cecile Richards is stepping down
from Planned Parenthood.
Is now the time to step down?
Does this feel like the right time to step away
when it feels like everything is mobilizing?
Well, I think it's, one, I'm not here to make any, you know,
big announcements or pronouncements today.
I think that Planned Parenthood
has never been a more important organization.
And I have, you know, every day I'm president
of this organization-- I've been doing it now for 12 years--
I see the difference that we make in peoples' lives.
And in fact, tomorrow morning, all across this country,
in red states and blue states,
doctors and clinicians and patient escorts
will wake up and they will open the doors,
and they will serve affordable health care
to thousands of American people.
And that, to me, is not only the legacy of this organization,
but it's what we need to do going forward.
And every day I get to play a role in that,
it's an honor of a lifetime.
You dodged my question very effectively.
And I understand why.
I-I know you have a board meeting coming up,
but I-I I would want to know about your future as Cecile.
I mean, everything comes to an end in life.
And I don't know when that will be,
but would you see yourself going into office?
Maybe not 2018, maybe 2020, down the road,
-could you see yourself... -Maybe 2020, yeah.
could you see yourself going into office in--
working to get into office in some way?
You know, I don't know what all-- I don't know what, uh,
my future holds, but I do know that I've been fortunate
to be kind of a troublemaker my whole life.
I was raised by a troublemaker,
the late, great governor of Texas, Ann Richards,
-and, uh... -(cheering and applause)
As my friend, Congressman John Lewis would say,
"Good trouble," I hope, and so whatever I do,
uh, in my lifetime, I've always been incredibly privileged
to be able to, I hope, make a difference in the lives
of folks who may just need a break.
And, uh, so that-that's my hope.
That's my hope for my future.
-I wish you the best of luck. -Hey, thank you, Trevor.
Thank you so much for being on the show again.
-Good to see you. -I really appreciate it.
Cecile's memoir, Make Trouble: Standing Up, Speaking Out,
and Finding the Courage to Lead, will be out this spring.
Cecile Richards, everybody.

Chloe x Halle - Connecting with Beyoncé and Creating "The Kids are Alright" | The Daily Show - Duration: 4:39.Chloe and Halle.
(cheering and applause)
Hi, everyone.
-Hello! -Hi. -Welcome to the show.
-Thank you. -Thank you. -So many people were so excited
-to have you in the building. -(gasps) Really? -Aw.
You are both blowing up in such amazing ways.
Uh, well, you're here to talk about your first album,
-The Kids Are Alright. -Yes. -Yes.
-Yes. -But before we get into the music,
let's talk about the amazing story
of how you were discovered.
A lot of people know you from YouTube,
-Yeah. -Yes. -Right? You used to do covers.
And then there was one particular cover that you did
-that changed your lives. -Yes. -It was.
And that cover in particular was "Pretty Hurts"
-Mm-hmm. -by Beyoncé.
And, you know, we had posted this cover,
and we noticed this one started to become
-a lot more viral than usual. -Yeah.
-Right. -And then two weeks later,
we got an e-mail from her team,
and they were asking us if they could post the video
-and if we were signed. -Mm-hmm. I know.
And we were reading into that, like,
why do they need to know if we're signed?
-Yes. -(Noah laughs)
So we were like, "Of course, you can post it.
And just in case, here's our dad's info."
-I'm so happy we did that. -(laughs)
And two days later, they reached out to us
and told us that Beyoncé wanted to sign us.
And we were freaking out.
And I remember it was on January 2 of 2013,
and we're so into, like, vision boarding,
-Right. -and, like, we were like,
"This year's gonna be a good year."
And it was the second day of the new year.
-We were like, "Oh, okay!" -Yeah, cool.
-So... -I feel like you end the year at that point.
-Yeah. -Yes. -The year...
the day Beyoncé signs me, I'm done.
-Yeah. -I... Thank you, ladies and gentlemen.
I bid you adieu. I am finished.
That is amazing. And you weren't just signed by Beyoncé.
You were the first artists signed onto her new imprint,
-which is an amazing achievement. -Thank you.
When you met her for the first time,
w-what's going through your head as an artist?
Because, I mean, it's not just Beyoncé on that level.
-Yeah. Mm-hmm. -It's also musically a-a big thing.
Yes, absolutely.
When we first met Beyoncé the first couple of times,
of course, the little girls within us
-were like, "Oh, my gosh!" -Yeah.
But we couldn't do that, you know?
We were like, "Oh, my goodness.
You know, you're such an inspiration to you us."
-Mm-hmm. -And then after those few times,
you know, we just really realized,
wow, she's just a normal, beautiful person,
-Right. -Mm-hmm. -and she really cares for us
and just wants to just teach us so many things,
and we are just so grateful that we get an opportunity
to have a mentor like her.
And she's not your only fan.
I mean, you've been getting rave reviews.
You know, you opened for Beyoncé on tour.
Um, your song was used
in the Wrinkle in Time movie,
-Yes. -Yes. -which was an amazing achievement for you.
Uh, you performed before Michelle Obama
-at her South by Southwest, uh, talk. -Yeah. -Mm-hmm.
I mean, you-you've had a really meteoric rise.
-Thank you. -Let's talk about the album.
-Yes. -Because you don't just sing,
which is already... Your singing is amazing.
People are gonna hear it later in the show.
-But you also produce. -Mm-hmm.
You-you play the music.
Who plays piano? Who plays guitar? How does this work?
-I play keys. Yeah. -Yes, and I play guitar. -Right.
And we created most of this album,
most of all of our music, in our living room at the house.
And we have our small little setup.
-I have my keyboard and our computer monitor -Right.
and our Telefunken mic
and we just get all of our ideas out there.
And, you know, creating this album
felt like we were birthing a baby.
And I'm just so happy we have it out into the world.
-And it's just been pretty cool to even say -Yeah.
we ex-executive produced it and did all the music.
-So... -That's amazing. Right. -Yeah. My sister
-is an amazing producer, so... -Thank you.
She won't say it herself, but, you know,
she produced this whole album.
We wrote all the songs on the album.
And, you know, we're just really inspired
-by doing things ourselves. -Mm-hmm. -Why...
why The Kids Are Alright?
What is... what is the significance of the title?
Yes, well, this title, especially right now
in this time, it means so much to us,
you know, speaking out "the kids are all right"
sort of like a mantra.
And with all of the crazy, crazy things happening in the world,
you know, they wonder if this generation will be okay,
-if we'll be all right. -Right.
And our answer is, yes, we'll be all right.
Our parents did not fail us. Just made us stronger.
We're here, and we're not afraid to raise our voices.
And that's what I love about being a part of this generation.
-The kids are all right. So... -Yeah. Absolutely.
-(cheering and applause) -The kids are definitely all right.
You want to stay and listen
to these two amazing people perform,
because it's, honestly... I mean, Pitchfork called it
"listening to the voice of God,"
and it's genuinely not an exaggeration.
It's a blessing. Thank you for being on the show.
The Kids Are Alright is available now.
And be sure to stay tuned for a special performance
right after the break. Chloe x Halle, everybody.

Hot Fix: How to build a ship [World of Warships] - Duration: 4:56.Hi everyone, my name is Aleksandr Shably.
And I'm Anton Andreev,
and today we're going to tell you how the largest virtual shipyard in the world
works in World of Warships.
Production of any ship starts with finding and selecting reference materials—
the blueprints and photos that will be used to make an in-game model.
Our Historical and Archival Research team are searching for such materials for us.
These guys! We just stopped by for a few words.
When will you hand over the ***** blueprints?
Well, some of them are here already.
I'll go to the archive to get the rest.
You'll have them by the end of the day.
By the way, there will be some technical notes;
I think your guys will find them very interesting.
As you see, our work hinges on historical materials
since they're the starting point for production of all our in-game ships.
Now we're going to show you how we survive
in the harsh reality when there are no such materials.
Welcome to Art QA Department.
The department consists of two teams: the Engineering Team and the QA Team.
The Engineering Team are the ones
who help to compensate when reference materials are lacking
by restoring them or by filling in
what's missing with new designs.
That's how "paper ships" are made.
For example, we've had cases where we developed an entire ship
based on nothing but the blueprints for a single turret.
Design does a lot of heavy calculations.
Thanks to them, we know that if the ships that our Design Bureau develops were
actually made in metal, they really would be able to sail across seas and oceans.
Designing a single ship takes a month, on average.
Once the blueprints are made, they are passed to our artists for production.
Production of an in-game model starts with arrangement
of blueprints and an overall box in a 3D editor scene.
As the old saying goes, a single blueprint set is better than several.
And that's when the magic happens—
when a 2D blueprint is transformed into a 3D ship model.
When the primary geometry of a ship is done,
we can add the armament and all the small equipment that goes on that ship.
In reality, each production stage undergoes a separate QA check.
This is a very nerve-wracking time for any artist.
Because, at this stage,
the artist's child is being inspected by QA specialists.
A quality assurance team is basically production support—
the specialists consult the artists on technical and historical issues.
They can help in a search for additional reference materials.
They also verify the aircraft, armament, antennas, radars,
and other shipborne equipment.
It's time to lend color to our everyday modeling life—
let's talk about textures.
At this stage, we render everything that isn't a part of the geometry design—
welds, rivets, portholes.
On a texture, it looks like a chaotic mass; it's created based upon
blueprints and photos, and it sometimes reaches such dimensions that you just...
you just open the textures and think to yourself—
that's enough, I'm going on a vacation.
It gets more interesting later— we start to cover a ship with mud,
drips, and traces of the routine activities of its crew,
plus all those sea creatures.
But the most interesting part of creating a skin for a ship is that
there are no photos and blueprints; you just need to stick to the approved theme
and dimensions of a ship.
You haven't said anything about camouflages!
Camouflages are made based on the existing prototypes, diagrams, and photos;
but sometimes we make an exception.
The production cycle of an in-game model is almost over.
But how can we make a model playable?
TechArt Team knows the answer to that question.
Hi, I'm Ed.
We're working on artists' tools, testing and tuning the content.
There are a lot of nuances in the settings.
Without those, you wouldn't be able to play on the ship modeled.
At these stages, we often get into tiffs with the artists.
It may happen that a ship arrives— you take a look at it, it's so nice,
but from the technical point of view, it's no Tolstoy.
It takes a lot of work.
This is a very funny process— local memes are born every week,
but, unfortunately, we cannot show them to the public.
What happens to a model next is a completely different story.
We'll say goodbye for now. Click the like button.
Subscribe to our channel!
Click on the bell so you won't miss the next episodes of Hot Fix.
See you!
Did you hear? I was talking about the ****, and there was this beep sound!
Yeah, the same was with me when we came to the historians.
I think it's the NDA.
Let's try again—*****!
Right! NDA!

Venice, a miniature jewel is built - The Documentation - Duration: 17:20.Venice is insane, because it's our smallest section with just nine square metres.
But we created the most expensive section we've ever built.
We worked on it more than a year.
And we got the chance to give more than 100%.
In this section, we were able to proof what we are capable of.
Venice is special, because we got the chance to show how good and detailed we can work.
More than a million Euros were spent on building nine square metres, that's crazy.
Hamburg's most expensive price per square metre can now be found in the Wunderland.
Our Venice doesn't have a connection to other parts of the exhibition and there aren't any trains.
This is special and offers many possibilities.
We could try out new background paintings without any other influences.
You can be way more creative if you don't have to connect the section to the rest of the exhibition.
But at the same time, this situation was challenging, because it was new.
Shortly before casting, we changed the water's colour again, because it was too green.
In their imagination, Freddy and Gerrit thought of more blue.
So we put more blue in the deep area in the middle.
That's how we reacted to their opinion.
Developing an image that you want to create is a process with many people involved.
The water is now casted and I am happy.
Eventhough I first had a completely different imagination of how it should look like.
In Venice there are tubs with a depth of 4mm.
Placed on ten square metres, they need to be installed correctly.
Otherwise something would pour out everytime you start casting on the other side.
And something else is stressful, too:
You keep waiting until it's dry enough so you can stamp the waves.
But it quickly gets too dry and hard.
You just have ten minutes.
We're working with many people at the same time because the area is so big.
If we don't manage to get a good result within these ten minutes, there's no other option than demolishing everything and starting all over again.
Venice is special, because there is no open water, there are just canals.
Therefore, we made these stamps.
During that short time, you also have to consider the water's flow.
Where does it enter the canals? Where are corners? Where aren't any waves?
That was difficult and different from what we're used to.
To me, the challenge of leading such a project is to know what will happen during the next two weeks and to think ahead of the building process.
And also to actively accompany the process and to make decisions.
It's hard to combine all of this.
When you're so involved with the project and the people are working around you and are asking you questions, it's hard to find time for that.
I always try to use some calm moments to think about the next two weeks and what we need to prepare.
If you think of Venice, you think of gondolas.
We tried to find something that already exists, but weren't successful.
We needed to build gondolas all on our own.
We soon realized that there's a scale problem.
Gondolas of our scale would have been too big and wouldn't have fitted into the scenery.
That's why we had to shrink them a little bit.
But the figures still needed to fit to the gondolas.
First, Michel and Sönke built some prototypes.
But they also had other tasks and couldn't continue.
So I took the prototypes and made a "master prototype".
I made 50 out of the 150 gondolas that are in the exhibition.
It takes between half a day to a full day per gondola, depending on their expense.
The yellow gondola was a special one for a traditional festival in Venice.
For this one, I changed an ordinary prototype.
The result is a very filigrane gondola with many details.
I think that the most important buildings in Venice are those around St. Mark's square.
Those are the Basilica, the Doge's palace and the Procuraties.
I wanted to focus on these to create a recognition factor.
Venice is very urban, there are just houses and hardly any vegetation, only a few trees.
A lot of people think of landscapes, not of Paris, when they think of France.
You may think of the coast when you think of Italy.
That's difficult in Venice, so we needed to focus on the buildings.
And that's not easy.
We started thinking about the lighting atmosphere very early.
Which light colours should we take? How much light should be inside the buildings? How many streetlights do we need?
That's something we talked about a lot, something we tried out a lot and had to change again a lot.
Especially the streetlights were supposed to look exactly like the originals.
There was no other possibility than building our own streetlights.
Then their size, colour and look matched the pictures.
It's a challenge that you won't see the result before everything else is finished.
Is there enough light? What about the light's atmosphere?
Or do we have to create more because there's not enough?
That was a process of trying out and reworking a lot.
But only by doing this, we could achieve the atmosphere we imagined.
The lighting's expense was not different than usual.
But you have to pay more attention on how one building's light fits to others.
Some houses don't have that much light so the Basilica and the Doge's Palace will look more impressive.
These buildings have more lights on the outside and really stand out.
In Venice, there aren't any trains or cars that cause movements.
It's a very calm section.
That's why we wanted to create movements by installing push-buttons.
There are gondolas moving on the water or the collapsing house.
There are pidgeons flying at St. Mark's square.
The pidgeons are special because they're so tiny.
It needed a mechanical system to make them move.
In the end, I used a very thin wire with a diametre of only 0,3mm.
Attaching it to the pidgeon was very difficult, I had to melt it.
Drilling and glueing as I usually do didn't work.
That looks good.
Beside the pidgeons, the Carnival is another highlight.
We wanted to place many Carnival figures at St. Mark's square.
It was another chance to show how detailed we worked on this section.
I've already been to Venice's carnival three times and was amazed by the costumes.
I've already got a lot of feedback.
The people really like it and I do, too. It was the first time we created a Carnival.
That was a challenge for me.
While building them, we took many pictures of our models.
In the end, when the background was painted and even highlighted the lighting,
we took pictures again.
I can barely make a difference between the model and the original on these pictures.
That made me speechless.
Our work made me very proud.
Our abilities were used to create a model of such a high quality,
that you can't make a difference between "our" venice and the original.
I realized that we reached our aims and that made me very proud..

Why you blame other people | Field Guide to Bad Behaviour - Duration: 4:04.Imagine your boss screws up – everyone screws up from time to time – but they blame you
for their mistake.
You could speak up, but most likely you'll have to take the heat for something you never
did – or blame it on someone else below you.
This is often called the kick-the-dog effect.
It seems like this is a natural psychological reaction most of us have.
But that doesn't mean we should do it.
This is the first episode of my Field Guide to Bad Behaviour.
Let's take a journey into the wild to spot crappy behaviours and discuss how to manage
or avoid them.
In the challenge for survival in society, a human may use blame shifting, which is defined
as the act of attributing a personal failure to another human or event.
Camouflaging as an innocuous behavior, blame shifting is unusually pandemic over a large
area of the planet and plays an influential role in shaping the ecosystem of human relationships,
sometimes even causing chain reactions leading to the eruption of disasters.
Blame shifting is easy to spot.
It tends to hop back and forth over several entities.
One prominent sign to look for is finger-pointing.
You are more likely to find it alongside certain personality traits.
Pessimists and narcissists are more likely than others to ditch responsibility for their
mistakes.
Side note: It is important to note a highly perilous subspecies of blame shifting, called
victim blaming, which we'll cover in a future episode.
Blame shifting can easily thrive in a closed small environment, but due to its highly contagious
nature it can spread in large organizations as well.
Researchers have found that when people are exposed to blame shifting by a politician
they are more likely to copy the behavior themselves.
In one study, participants were split into two groups and read a news clip about a failure
of former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In one group's clip, the governor took full ownership of the failure.
Though in the other group, the governor blamed special interest advocates for his failure.
Later when participants wrote about an unrelated personal failure, the group exposed to blame-shifting
were twice as likely as the other group to blame someone else for their own mistakes.
Researchers called it blame contagion.
When the spread of blame shifting is not controlled it becomes embedded in the culture of a group
and leads to lower creativity, reduction in innovation and bad performance.
It can even cause great consequences.
The Columbia Space Shuttle disaster in 2003, for example, is linked to an outbreak of excuse
making and finger pointing in NASA's culture over a period of time.
Now people shift blame to protect their self-image.
But it backfires.
Serial blame-shifters are often perceived negatively.
For example, research shows leaders and managers who ditch responsibility for their mistakes
are ultimately perceived as powerless.
But you can be better!
With careful actions, you can reduce the prevalence of blame-shifting.
The solution: take responsibility when you should.
While it might hurt at first, ultimately it will help everyone problem solve, cooperate
and develop mutual respect.
When it's not your responsibility, prevent contagion by being more intentional about
what you say publicly and privately.
Think of giving praise for a job well done publicly, and offer constructive criticism
in private.
The human ecosystem can be a dangerous environment to navigate – overpopulated with bad behaviours.
So please endeavour to take necessary precautions and make sure you have the right equipment
with you: mainly thoughtfulness, intelligence and knowledge.
Until next time.

Choose Your Friends CAREFULLY! - Best Inspirational Speakers - Duration: 10:25.you're demeaning yourself you're less than you could be and there's real
judgment in that it's harsh you know but with friends it's the same thing you
want friends they're not friends if they're not these people you want
friends who when something good happens to you there that's good for you right
they're happy about that they're not like all bitter and resentful
underground and like saying horrible things behind your back and telling you
how they did something that was better and trying to drag you down it's like
that's not helpful and then when something bad happens to you and you go
to them and you say look this terrible thing happened to me first of all they
don't try to top it with some like horrible thing that happened to them
because they don't have the patience to listen and second they're not secretly
gloating about the fact that catastrophe finally befell you it's like they're
actually hurt by it and that that chapter is an injunction is like take a
look at the people that are around you and if they're not on the side of what's
good for you then walk away because well first of all that's best for them too if
you put up with that all you're doing is enabling it it's like well it's okay
that you mistreat me in a way that's harmful to me and everyone else it's
like actually no that is not okay it's not in it's not the least bit okay
it doesn't mean you shouldn't try to help someone when they're down that's a
whole different issue better get up you got to get out the amount of time you
spend outside your proximity or location where you sleep gives you a better
chance to being successful so get up get out go meet the world head-on folks no
matter how bad it is okay you got you got reputation problems you got I feel
bad problems you got friend problems you got money problems whatever the problems
are okay try this just get up and get out go meet the world head on go meet
whatever it is okay you got to make up to somebody you got to apologize for
something you've done you got to make up by the damage of of years of neglect and
maybe betrayal and look I've done all that I've had all those things where I
screwed up over and over and over again my reputation sucked
I was 20 between the ages of 15 and 25 years old it was like I was doing
everything I could just to damage damage my reputation okay if it made me look
bad I did it so here today I'm gonna spend 10 days 14 days something like
that up here with that view you can fix anything I'm proof that you can fix
anything anything can be fixed anything can be fixed but you got to fix it you
got to fix it you can't just sweep it under the old rug you got to fix it you
got to clean up the damage you got to pay the price clean up your debts do
what you say you're gonna do become the most dependable person in your space
become the go-to person oh I can put that person on stage and know exactly
what they're gonna get for me I can put that person in the game and I know what
play they're gonna run I can put that person on the floor and I know they're
gonna get it done be the go-to person okay you don't need
to be funny you don't need to be entertaining all the time you don't need
to be the person they're talking about you need to be the go-to person folks
one of the best things Brian taught me there he was he was an early mentor to
me one of the quotes his dad gave to him is always surround yourself with people
that will inspire you or help you grow and that was just a great piece of
advice and I might took that very seriously and pursued people that I
looked up to or that I admired and tried to learn things from them since I didn't
have really you know a father figure anything like that early on I would read
about all the people I looked up to and you know that was kind of like my
college was finding people that did things that I was really amazed by and
then learning as much as I could and then what I started doing is I started
flying all the books on Nobel Prize winners and then in literature
specifically and then I would read what books they recommended and then I would
read the books that they recommend then on the back of that book it would be
what this book was influenced by so I started going through
that's the reveal hyperlinks yeah exercise is very important the creative
process I try to either run I run or swim almost run swimwear I do CrossFit
every day and that's like that's very important I tend to have like creative
breakthroughs when I've stopped working on something and I've went to do
something else which school year showing me the gym earlier I think that's
probably why that's there it's like you can work and work and work on a problem
then you stop and then when you're thinking about something else that sort
of magically comes together in your minds books obviously are very important
I read a lot I try to read like two or three books a week and I for me what I'm
a I realized very early on and it's a little bit cleaner for me because I work
in book publishing and I'm a writer but like I consider reading to be like part
of my job so like that was actually somewhat weird when I was working
full-time at American Apparel it's like I would want to sit there and like read
a book but you know I can't do that at an office you know but so now I work
from home so I can sort of do I can arrange my day in a way that like
appearances matter a little bit less but I think you know reading but what I what
I say is like okay look chances are whatever problem you're going through
right now someone else went through before you and they probably wrote it
down and so like books are the way that we we access that knowledge and if
you're not availing yourself to it you're gonna learn a lot of things the
hard way when you don't necessarily need to so I consider like leading to be like
part of my job and part of what's accelerated what I've been able to
accomplish and I just so it's like when people are like oh how do you have time
how do you have so much time to read it's like well how do you have time to
sleep and how do you have time to eat and go to work like that's just what you
do it's not like this extra luxury that I squeeze in when I'm on vacation
got it that was gonna be one of my questions how do you have that yeah
under read so there's no secret and like I don't read fast like I think a lot of
people think that people who read a lot must be like speed readers and so they
focus on that it's like no people who read a lot just spend a lot of time
reading because it's important to them and
that's sort of the distinction that I mean the next phase here is also to
become grateful for what it is that you do have so if you're starting to try to
create change in your life you want to make sure that you're really focusing on
what it is that you do have in your life so that you feel an energy of gratitude
and an energy of gratitude can really open you up to this incredible capacity
to feel more energized to feel more happy in any given moment where you feel
like oh I don't have what I need or I'm not supported or things aren't working
out the simple step here is to just say I am grateful for what I do have and let
me look at me say I'm grateful for what I do have we create more of what we want
and the energy of gratitude opens our heart and it expands our energy and it
makes us a much more wonderful loving person to be around and with that loving
energy we begin to attract more into our life and so we want to really make sure
that that energy of gratitude is a very pinnacle part of this group this miracle
worker process which is that we stay committed and open to what it is that we
are here to receive and we stay committed and grateful for what it is
that we have and so you can begin today just by making a gratitude list and
focus on it in there's so many moments when I think oh my god I can't believe I
have to do this or I can't believe I have to get to that and and then I just
think about what I'm grateful for and it just spins me immediately out of the
crazy chaos and back into a central place of love and so I think that this
is a really valuable tool for you to begin to use regularly and it's an
active tool throughout the book may cause miracles I've never said that
there's a one-size-fits-all approach and you know people have characterized
mischaracterized my view is that everyone should drop out of college
everyone should start a company I don't think everybody should be starting
companies you know just given this power law thing I think a lot of companies
don't work we need more people to start good companies but but I think also the
sort of super tract dynamics have have gotten us to a very bad place where
where education has become a substitute for thinking about the future you know
and the K through 12 system is geared towards college and the problem is life
doesn't end in college you know it you know hopefully you live for a long time
after that and do many many things after college and and and there's a strange
way where we live in a society where there's a lot of anxiety about the
future and we've put more and more money into education for the last 35 years as
a way of dealing with this anxiety where if you get into the right College
you know you'll be saved if you don't you're in trouble I sort of described
the college nice or dramatic version I've said it you know colleges they're
like there's corrupt as the Catholic Church was five hundred years ago
they're sort of charging people more and more it's these system of indulgences
you have this priestly or professorial class that doesn't do very much work and
then and then you basically tell people that if you get a diploma you're saved
you know otherwise you go to hell you know you go to Yale or you go to jail
that's sort of that's sort of and and what I think we need to we need to push
back on on this on this that this is this idea that the only way you get
saved is you know Catholic Church five hundred years ago or today the only way
to get saved is by by getting a diploma from college and I hope I hope that in
the future there will be many different kinds of productive things for people to
do my goal with the teal fellowship was not to start a new church the startup
Church or something like that it's not to have this alternate one-size-fits-all
thing but I think the future system will be one that's much more heterogeneous
and will be many more ways for people to be successful

Teen Buys Every Cupcake In Shop After Customer Calls Her "Fat B*tch" - Duration: 1:42.Teen Buys Every Cupcake In Shop After Customer Calls Her "Fat B*tch"
A teenager who claims she was fat-shamed by a fellow customer while standing in line at a bakery got sweet revenge — spending $54 to buy every cupcake in the store.
She swallowed the hurt and thought of the best possible thing can do back to them that wasn't horrible, but that would teach them a lesson about respecting others.
She said staff at the bakery overheard the woman's comments about her weight and gave her additional chocolates and cookies for free.
The woman and her friend sneered at Blossom as she walked out with the 20 mega-sized cupcakes — each the size of three regular cupcakes. She got her final revenge on them as she walked out of the bakery.
I looked the pair straight in the eye and asked could you please open the door for me? My hands are a bit full, she said. At the end she shared the treats with friends, family and co-workers over Easter.
I dont really understand whats the point. A hater contacted her personally after the story go viral.
And haters gonna hate.
However majority supported Vega.
Hopefully, this was a lesson in treating others kindly and maybe a lesson in karma as well.

Memories of Mars - Dev Diary 04 - Base Building - Duration: 2:48.Base building. Base building is a fundamental part of Mars and it's never been easier.
Pressing "B" on our keyboard we open up the building menu.
From here, the player will be able to see everything they have currently learned, in terms of structural pieces as well as player made devices.
Always starting with the foundation, the player simply clicks which piece they would like to place, see a preview of the piece in our window to the right hand side, and click place.
Once we have clicked place, we will now see a wire framed version of the foundation that we have chosen and have free choice as to where we wish to place it.
As long as the wire frame remains blue, we simply left click and place.
If our wireframe turns red it means that we cannot place our chosen piece.
Perhaps due to the distance from the ground, something physically blocking the spot or even the vicinity of NPC buildings and other player bases.
From here we need to switch to our building tool.
With that equipped we make sure we are close enough to our foundation and make sure we have the required resources in our inventory.
You'll notice the widget in the middle of our screen. This informs the player of how much is left to build, the total resources required to build the piece, and in brackets our actual remaining resources that are in our inventory.
Here, we see the player finishing their wall section.
Once completed, they move on to building a storage container with the stasis chamber having already been previously built and completed to their left hand side.
Finally, they hit the finishing touches to the blast furnace and the core features of their player base is complete.
Remember, the larger the base you build and the more devices you attach to it, the larger your upkeep costs will be.
This is where having a specialized architect player will come invaluable.
These players will not only be able to bring with them unique devices and structural pieces but skills and abilities to help mitigate up keep costs and reduce materials required for repairs and maintenance.
That's all there is to it for base building. I leave you now with a little montage of what can be achieved with our base building system in Mars.

THE CEREMONIES IN NORMANDY - Duration: 4:36.Hi "guripas"!
In Normandy, the dates around June 6th
are a unique opportunity to meet WW2 veterans.
On the 73rd anniversary, we witnessed this year's ceremony,
celebrated at Utah Beach,
joining American veteran Jack Port.
Already in 1945, on the first anniversary of the Landing
and with the war still going on in the Pacific,
the first of these ceremonies took place.
The idea was from French politician Raymond Triboulet,
in charge of the Landing Committee,
created on May of the same year
to preserve the memory of this battle,
promoting the arrival of tourism,
and creating museums to finance the annual ceremonies,
on a different beach sector each year.
On the most important anniversaries, every 10 years,
the largest events take place with numerous veterans attending.
1984 was the first time with the presence of the Chiefs of State
from the main Allied nations involved in the Battle of Normandy:
Belgium, Canada, the US, Great Britain, Holland, and Norway.
In the following years, Poland would also join.
The flags of these seven countries and the French one
fly at the Landing's main monuments.
Another very important date is the year 2004.
It was the first time that a German Chancellor was invited to the ceremony,
a firm step towards reconciliation.
But without a doubt, the key date for the whole region is 1994.
The year of the symbolic 50th anniversary.
A date that marked a before and after in the visits to Normandy.
In part because veterans had retired.
Up until that moment, they were busy carrying on with their lives
and after that year's ceremony, many felt
that it was time to tell their families
what had happened during the war.
Since then, the offspring of those old combatants visit every year
the places where their relatives fought.
In addition to an increasingly number of History enthusiasts,
that had made of Normandy a great tourist destination.
At the same time of the main event of June 6th
each Norman town organizes some kind of activity.
Today we're showing you an event that happened on June 5, 2017.
All these people are waiting at the doors of the Pegasus Bridge Memorial
to receive a group of British veterans
brought here by a charity in a 90 vehicle convoy,
among them the traditional black taxis from London.
With almost all the veterans being over 90 years old,
the opportunities to meet these men and women
that had to live through very difficult times
are dwindling.
Both, young and old, didn't want to miss this moment.
There's even some asking for autographs
that don't hesitate to say hello and talk to these former soldiers,
who are always ready to share their experiences.
So when you're planning your visit to Normandy
take into account this important date.
And with these images, we say goodbye.
See you next episode. Dismissed!

Are You TRIGGERED And On A Verge Of RELAPSING? // Eating Disorder Recovery - Duration: 10:05.Hello everybody it's Elisa here, so I know I haven't posted
videos for
I think like three weeks now or something and this is because I was very busy in February
And I think I was a little bit tired and drained, and I just had no inspiration
or you know like the energy to make videos
Yeah, and I felt like I needed to charge my own batteries before I can give out more
so yeah, but now I'm trying to come back, and I'm trying to again make consistent videos every week
Yes, but by the way, I also want to mention if you don't know that actually I have a Facebook group
And I made it like a month ago or so and we have already like 200 people there
so if you want to join the Facebook group
then I will post a link down below, and this group is like very great, so many people encouraging each other and
supporting each other, you can ask your questions and
I'm also gonna be there time after time
checking on you and answering your questions giving you support
Yeah, so if you want to check out the group the link is in the description. So today's video
I thought maybe I will talk about
You know like in recovery when you are triggered
And maybe you're triggered because you are, I don't know, trying on your old clothes that don't fit
Or maybe somebody is saying some triggering comment to you. Maybe you feel like you have gained weight
Maybe you have the extreme hunger and you panic about the amount of food you're eating
And then you feel triggered and this is kind of the situation
I remember I was in many times in my recovery and because I was recovering on my own
I didn't have anybody to kind of you know shake me, like shake me out of this "Elisa don't
relapse because your triggered you just just have to keep on going"
But over time as I did my like relapses
And I went like back and forth a little bit with recovery and then relapses then over time
I really learned from them
To kind of see the similar pattern that each time when I got triggered and I went back to relapse
after some period of time I just couldn't you know
restrict myself, and I was back to the binging or having the extreme hunger
and I kind of realized that okay, this was the restriction and it always leads me back to feeling miserable
feeling sick
about my eating disorder and wanting to be back to recovery and
Then next time I felt triggered I relapsed again and again again, but over time
I really learned that when I got triggered
I started to kind of think
Before I took action
You know to relapse or start restricting, and I really started to think - okay last time I was triggered what did I do?
I went back to restriction and then what happened?
Felt again trapped in my eating disorder, and then I wanted to start recovery again
But I felt by that point I had lost some precious time
but since I started to think before I relapsed I started to really see the pattern and
Actually, I came into the conclusion that
Even though I feel triggered right now like restriction
cannot be the answer, restriction is not an option anymore
Because I know it will lead me nowhere. It would just set me back in my recovery and
ultimately like what is the point of relapsing? what is the freaking point because every time it's just completing the
Or continuing the same old cycle, and it will lead absolutely nowhere
and I know like I can I don't know restrict for a week or two or like a month or something and
then I would be wanting to go back to recovery because
Simply when you restrict it will never ever end, like the eating disorder will never end
You have to maintain this for the rest of your life then, and I knew that this is just not
possibility for me
I cannot restrict for the rest of my life. This didn't even sound logical, so I started to realize that
Okay, I can be triggered, I can be scared, I can be panicked, I can be anxious about the weight gain or
water retention or like food "sitting in my stomach"
Like I can be triggered about somebody's comment
I can be triggered because maybe my clothes don't fit me or something
But what is the other option? If I restrict,
I relapse, then what? What is the ultimate solution it will give me?
Like to lose some weight?
Okay, and then what then what? Then what happens? You're gonna have to just maintain restriction for the rest of your life?
And I simply thinking about it, you know like that
By you know before taking the action I started to think - okay
Where would this action actually lead me? To be very realistic and logical about it
and then by using my logic and also my past experience of
relapses I simply convinced myself that relapses are pointless
relapses
Cannot lead me anywhere
They just leave me to another dead end
so
Relapses cannot even be options anymore, like they just leave me in the same old eating disorder cycle, so yeah
I understood that relapses are pointless, no matter how triggered I am, no matter
you know
If I'm gonna have to extreme hunger or weight gain
Like I can't, I can't control it and
in order to find out what is the other side of recovery, what if I stop relapsing and
I stop restricting and if I'm triggered, I'm still gonna keep on going? I can be triggered,
I can be scared, I can be panicked, but I'm still gonna keep on going,
I'm not gonna relapse. Then what if like this will actually lead me to some somewhere good?
Like this is the road to
recovery and
If I don't relapse
because I'm triggered or something I have the best possible chance of recovering.
And I was simply so sick and tired of doing the same old
relapses over over again and thinking like something will change
Because I was convinced that this is simply
You know, the most
stupid thing for me to do, to relapse, because my past proved me that it didn't lead me anywhere
and actually
if you are, Elisa, if you are so sick and tired of your eating disorder then what if you take
the actual road that has proven you know by other people's
experiences, by the science, the logic of recovery, that has proven to lead people to full recovery.
What if it will work for me as well? You know because you know the other road of relapses and eating disorder
it 100% don't work
But,
what if the recovery will work for me? And I was willing to take this road
You know, to "risk it" like to take this risk in order to have a chance to get free
If you relapse, you have no chance to get free. But if you stick with recovery, you wait it out
You just keep on going,
you do the challenges, you push yourself
into the...keeping on the recovery and everything, you have the best possible chance of
recovering one day and
And yeah, like don't you want to find out what recovery is like?
Because again...
you don't have another option in my view
You don't have another option, the only option is to
you know
You can be triggered, you can be scared
But the only real option is to keep on going and not simply relapse. Like what's the point of that?
What's the point of that?
So yeah, this is my message today
Yeah, and if you have any interesting questions for me
you can pop them below this video in the comments
but yeah, thank you for watching, and I will see you in my next video, bye!

Is Your Natural Hair A Mess? 😰 3 Reasons You Hate Your Natural Hair (2018) - Duration: 4:49.Hey, beautiful people. It's Nappy Headed Black Girl.
I've been watching a lot of your YouTube videos lately
and it's heartbreaking to see that so many of you are struggling with your natural hair.
I know your natural hair is awesome, and I want you to know it too.
So here are three reasons you might hate your natural hair and how to fix them.
And if you're not feeling so hot about your natural hair right now,
leave us a comment and tell us why.
I know what it's like coming from easy breezy straight hair to hair like mine.
It's a huge adjustment, and it's a big shock.
I also know what it's like when you first big chop and you're bombarded with information.
Ya gotta pre-poo, buy a Denman,
learn how to do a clay mask, get all new natural products, learn how to retwist...
It's overwhelming. The fix? Stop doing so much. Simplify your routine.
It takes time to learn your natural hair, especially if you've never dealt with it before.
So do yourself a favor and start with the basics: Wash it, condition it, and keep it moisturized.
Boom. That's it.
Now down the line, you might find that you need more.
The ACV rinses, shingling, deep conditioning...all that can wait.
For now, keep it sweet and simple.
I just watched a video of a woman with natural hair, and she was so frustrated because... and I quote...
"I can't do anything with this *bleep!*"
I laughed so hard.
I shouldn't have, but I wasn't laughing at her. I was laughing with her.
Because man, I've been there.
We've all been there. Learning to style your natural hair can be like learning to do your hair all over again.
It's almost like you've never touched your hair before and, in a way, you haven't.
Know that you are not alone.
For every natural hair tutorial you see on YouTube, there's 20 more like me in the cut
who don't know how to do diddly-squat with their natural hair.
It's cool. All you gotta do is learn one style.
Master just one quick and easy style.
My favorite? Twists. Easy to do, you don't need super long hair, and you can rock them for days.
On top of that, you even wash your hair with them still in.
If twists don't work for you, OK.
Find a style that does and rock it 'till the wheels fall off.
If you can't do anything with your natural hair yet
Don't worry. Go to someone who can.
These folks on YouTube will have you thinking that you should be able to do everything for your natural hair yourself.
And maybe one day you will be able to. But until then get some help.
If you need to visit the salon until you're comfortable on your own, go.
Stylists are not the devil. The end goal is healthy natural hair, so do what you gotta do to get yours.
Before I big chopped I had dreams of growing my hair out big and nappy
and having like a Lauryn Hill fro.
Like an Angela Davis type fro where people sitting behind me would complain because they couldn't see.
But, surprise surprise, my hair is not about that life.
I don't have thick hair. I'll never have thick hair. It's not in my genes. And that's OK.
I think many of us have hair idols when we first big chop.
That's normal.
You know some uber famous YouTuber or celebrity or even a friend who has what you consider perfect natural hair.
And it can be devastating to realize that your hair looks nothing like that. This is a story as old as time.
Here you are hoping for her like Solange, but it turns out you have hair like Yara Shahidi.
But this is a great problem to have because the fix is simple:
Love your hair.
Easier said than done? Maybe.
But I think confidence has a lot to do with it.
And I have a video that I'm gonna link for you guys if you're having trouble building confidence with your natural hair.
Also I can't stress this enough:
Surround yourself with people who appreciate natural hair.
Your environment has so much to do with how you see yourself and how you love yourself.
If you don't have people in your life who support your natural hair journey,
then make it a point to find some who do.
Appreciate and be grateful for your hair because it's beautiful. Love your hair, and it'll love you back.
Thanks for kicking it with me. And remember you can always reach me here on YouTube
or on my website at NappyHeadedBlackGirl.com.
See ya next time. Bye.

WPX Hosting Customer Testimonial by Marlon Burns - Duration: 2:11.Hello, I'm here to weigh in my thoughts
on WPX Hosting.
It's been an awesome
platform.
We've been hosting with WPX now
for about almost a year.
We switched over
from WP Engine and the transfer, the
migration process was seamless.
We had a
lot of help.
It's amazing that at 3 o'clock
in the morning you can hit the support
button and within 30 seconds,
sometimes even faster, someone pops on
there to assist you with pretty much any
issue that you have.
I've had situations
where we needed to actually have someone
take a look at our site and the
technician actually logged into our
platform
through WordPress and went in there and
took a look at what was going on and
fixed it many, many times.
We've noticed an increase in
speed since we've transferred.
The
updates and improvements that they've
made have been constant and continuous.
It's been a pleasant experience.
I was a bit reluctant at first
to switch because one of the things that
I like is the phone support
and I was wondering would the chat
support be as sufficient as phone
support, but the chat support has been
excellent.
They're always willing to
help, to refer you to any supporting
documentation that you might need that
will help you to get your situation
resolved.
We haven't had honestly
many situations since we've
switched to WPX.
It's been a really
pleasant experience and I would
recommend it to anyone who was thinking
about switching
host for a managed WordPress hosting
provider.
They've been great and looking
forward to bigger and better things.
