Youtube daily report Jun 13 2018

Hello, since summer is here,

it's time for a summer shopping video

which everyone will most probably like it and also which I liked pretty much.

Actually, as a person who loves online shopping,

I hate visiting the clothe shops.

But summer pieces really should be tried on before being bought.

So I visited a lot of clothe shops, plundered them, and

I am here with a big summer shopping video.

There are pretty low priced reasonable pieces which

everyone can easily reach, from simple brands.

There aren't any products involved from

big and expensive brands in this video.

Let's move into the video without mumbling too much.

I didn't allocate them brand by brand but I categorized them.

I'm beginning with the tops.

I already ripped off the price tags.

I already wore most of them.

The only thing I know is I bought them for low prices.

I will tell the ones which I thought ''this price is too much for this piece

but it's still very beautiful, so I'm buying it''. Even though I don't remember the exact prices.

A straight but also not straight

white t-shirt from H&M.

The special thing about this is the little loop here.

The people who know me well knows that

I love wearing clothes with my belly open.

I think that when you wear something straight

and pull your jeans up on it,

it makes your proportion look ugly a little bit.

So that's why I always knot the belly part

of my basic t-shirts even if it sometimes looks weird.

Especially Zeynep hates it and tells me to buy something like this.

And I finally found this from H&M. It has a

natural loop on it's belly. It's not tight enough

but it's still good enough for me.

I bought it for a very low price. I don't remember the exact price but it was very low.

My second piece is this top which I bought from Trendyol.

I really loved this when I first saw it.

It also had a bottom part but since the skirt was too long

I thought that most probably I wouldn't wear it.

You can wear this with jean shorts or with high waist skirts.

But you should wear it with a high waist bottom.

In order to make your body, your

proportion look better, and since it's a piece

which only covers your chest area

it looks good when you wear it with certain things.

And it's shoulders are uncovered, the first thing

I focus on clothes with uncovered shoulders is the ability of my shoulder movement.

Whether it restricts my shoulder movement, whether it forces me to walk like this.

It actually forces me to walk like that a little bit.

It doesn't restrict my shoulder movement awfully.

I get restricted just a little bit

to wear something amazing. But I also feel comfortable

and I also feel good when I'm wearing this.

It's worth it. You're not too uncomfortable wearing it.

Don't let the long sleeves distract you from it's perfectness.

On the other hand, due to the seasonal fluctuations,

the weather may be cooler than

we think. So that's why I think

it's better to have long sleeves with uncovered belly and shoulders,

since it can keep you warmer.

I bought this

with admiration together with Zeynep.

This is Oysho's

very very beautiful top. I don't shop from Oysho

pretty often, actually.

I'm not like ''Hmm, let's see what's new at Oysho''. I have it's app on my phone.

I sometimes give it a look but I mostly look for bikinis and swimsuits.

I also look for other clothes but I never buy anything. I have a few pajamas and that's it.

I was not expecting to buy something like this from Oysho.

I saw it's equivalent at

Bershka, I guess.

Both it's front and back are in a V shape.

That's why it looks pretty good on top. I even have a photo with this on Instagram.

It also reveals the belly.

Since the lower part of it is shirred, it fits your body perfectly.

It doesn't look loose.

If it wasn't shirred in the bottom

it would look a big ugly.

But maybe it would look nice if it was combined with another good piece.

But as I said, I liked the shirr detail at the bottom.

Because the way it fits my waist and it's revealing on the top

at the same time looks very nice to me.

It's also red and has some flowers on it.

I started to like clothes with flowers recently.

I didn't like flowers on my clothes to much.

When I wear something basic on the bottom, I started liking it.

This was

100 Turkish Liras. It's actually not that cheap.

But due to the fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate

you can't find this kind of pieces for low prices at

Zara, Bershka, Oysho.

Especially Zara has gone mad expensive and recently

it's products began to be very ugly. Even this kind of blouses cost

minimum 60-70 Turkish Liras.

That's why 100 Turkish Liras for a piece like this

is an okay price.

This piece is from Stradivarius, it wouldn't be right to call it a strapless

but you can use it as a strapless if you want.

You can also use it with its hangers. I loved

it's color.

It was 35 Turkish Liras, I guess.

It was 35 or 39 Turkish Liras. It's a very nice blouse.

Again it remains a little bit on top of the belly.

But I think the most beautiful thing about summer pieces are

high waist jean shorts etc.

And this type of basic things on top.

Because these type things are life saving. You can wear them in a shirt

or on top of a short. You can wear it while going to the beach.

You can combine this easily with everything. And because of

the texture of this, in my opinion,

when you wear a little bit loose pants, you can combine this

even with high heels.

Very stylish, very beautiful and this time it's cheap.

Now it's time for the set which everyone asked me

where I bought it from

and I also loved while buying it

and also which I am thankful to Helin for making me buy it.

This top, I don't know where to start

because it looks nonsense right now.

You tie the top like this.

The top is like, what is this called?

It's a bikini-like top.

The reason it doesn't make you

look naked,

is the very high waisted bottom part.

It's waist is shirred, but I didn't like it very much.

So I fold it inwards like this.

You can wear these apart. Such as you can wear this

and wear something white on top.

Or you can wear this and wear a short on the bottom.

The good thing about these pieces as a set,

you can wear them for a couple of times.

But when you combine them apart, they still look very nice.

As I said these parts are extensile,

so you can extend these parts while wearing it.

Don't think that it's too uncovered,

give it a try.

It's literally a remarkable set, everyone asks me the place I bought these from.

Because it has very cute polka-dots.

And it's color is very beautiful. It fits your body perfectly.

It slays, it's amazing.

I love wearing it. I don't remember the exact price

but this is still on Bershka's online website.

I can put it's link in the description below if you want.

This piece and this piece were separate of course.

But I don't remember the prices to be honest, I'll write it down below.

It's time for a piece which I hesitate.

I loved this and bought it from Trendyol. It was

in my cart for a long bit. I was waiting to buy it.

I was considering to buy a couple of things together.

I haven't taken the price tag off yet since I'm not sure whether to return it or not.

I bought a dress like this.

It looked very nice on the model.

But I guess their molds are a bit large.

Maybe if I had bought

the 34 size, it could look better on me but

it's length is perfect right now.

It could look too short

I mean the skirt part.

You definitely should wear something inside on the top.

Or you should have very large boobs in order to fill the top.

And you should like revealing a lot.

I thought it would look nice if I combined something in it.

I was planning to tie it like this and

reveal my belly but it didn't work out.

It didn't work out as I planned.

I tried a billion things inside.

I almost went through crisis since I wanted it a lot

and imagined it a lot.

But I ended up being an online shopping victim.

Like the products form Ali Express, I was like one of those memes.

I bought it with a big expectation but it didn't meet my expectation.

I have 2 options with this: I will narrow it down or

I will say goodbye to this dress and

like the photos of people who look good in this dress.

I haven't decided yet, I'm at the consideration phase.

I should give credit to it though, the dress is very beautiful.

It's sleeves, cuts, every part of it is very beautiful.

But I don't know, it's probably too large for me.

If I buy one smaller size, then I might have problems with it's height.

I'm confused. I don't know yet.

I will think about it. I still love it, you should have a look.

Now it's time for the bikinis.

I bought lots of bikinis.

I think that bikinis are

unreasonably expensive. I get very pissed off

when both the bottom and top parts are separately very expensive.

I couldn't go on a vacation pretty much

in the past 2 years.

When I finally had time for a vacation this year,

I thought '' Okay, it's time for bikini shopping''.

You can find reasonable and beautiful bikini's and swimsuits

at Trendyol and H&M, according to your own choice.

There are too many options by the way.

High waists, low waists,

strapless ones, triangles, etc.

Too many options, as I said.

I'm beginning with the ones I bought. I bought this from Trendyol.

Let me put on the clips on the back so it will look better.

The front is tied like this.

There's actually

nothing special with the front.

You don't tighten your boobs from here since it has straps.

And it's back has clips, so the front part is more like an ornament.

But the top is very cute in my opinion.

I didn't buy this as a set.

There are different bikinis I wear on the bottom.

For example,

bought a bikini bottom from H&M,

it's high waisted and it has laces on the sides.

It was

40 Turkish Liras as I remember. I don't remember the exact price of this.

They fit each other when I wear them together because

both of them have laces and this bikini top

looks very nice with a high waist bottom.

And if you think it will look better as a set, this bikini bottom was given to me as a gift by Movomstore,

oh it has a stain over here,

oh it gets removed, okay it's not a big deal then.

It also looks very nice when I wear this on bottom

and this on top, all white.

It fits with everything since its white,

such as blues, navy blues, purples, etc.

You can combine it with that type of things.

It's very nice. In my opinion, rather than buying

a set of bikinis, it's more fun to

combine two different pieces with each other.

You also don't get bored too early.

This is the top of the white bikini bottom I just showed you guys.

The cuts on it are very beautiful, the arms are not uncomfortable.

Remember the shoulder thing I mentioned, it's arm parts are separate.

It doesn't proceed like a continuation of a whole bikini.

So it doesn't restrict your ability of movement.

While swimming, etc.

When you want to get tanned, you take the sleeves of

like this and avoid tan lines.

The texture of this is also very nice.

It's pretty stylish, I'll also put the link below

so you guys can have a look.

Again, one more bikini top I bought from Trendyol.

I really like the tone of yellow of this piece.

In my opinion, there should be a balance in yellow.

Sometimes the yellows are too light or too dark,

ugly, etc. I loved the yellow of this.

The color is very beautiful, very comfortable.

It's not too tight

so it won't make any marks on your body.

You can also combine this with some high waist

bottoms in summer. you can also

wear something revealing on top of this.

Because it doesn't look too much like a bikini.

It looks more like a separate top.

That's why it's a piece which you can wear as a bikini

and combine with other clothes at the same time.

I adore this one.

Alp thinks that I look like a peacock in this.

But I adore this swimsuit.

First of all, I love it's patterns, I love it's colors.

It fits my body perfectly, very comfortable.

I guess I love swimsuits, because they're very comfortable.

They're very comfortable. The back

is revealing. The front revealing is not too deep.

It's not annoying. This part crosses like this.

So the front part looks beautiful. Don't get tanned in this though,

because the stripes will leave funny tan lines on your chest.

Make sure to put on suncream when you wear this.

I got tan lines by the way, even if I put on my suncream.

For some reason.

It's probably the suncream I put on was not effective enough.

There are some tan lines on my shoulders.

I will get rid of them as soon as possible.

This is from Trendyol and it's very cheap.

It was about 50 Turkish Liras when I checked today or yesterday.

I think you should get one, these are sold in designer stores

for 500 Turkish Liras. 50 Liras is very reasonable.

Here I have a swimsuit, which some people will not like it,

and some people will do and which I love.

I think it will be hard for you guys to understand what it looks like.

This is a bit deep and brave swimsuit.

The revealing proceeds down to your upper belly.

But the top part,

the top that covers your breasts proceed like this. I couldn't get it fixed.

I'll show you guys on myself.

It covers your breasts from here.

It's like an apron.

I'm about to bring baby food for myself, I horribly explained it.

It's hard to explain like this. It has a deep revealing here.

I don't know how to explain it

perfectly but I will post a photo with this on Instagram

so you guys can better understand what it looks like.

I think it looks amazing.

That breast revealing looks really nice.

Even though it's a brave swimsuit,

it's a nice swimsuit,

it fits my aesthetic pleasure.

I also bought this from Trendyol but

it's been a while since I bought this. I bought this in March or April.

It's probably even cheaper right now.

I bought it for 100 Turkish Liras.

If it's still present, I think it's even cheaper.

Very beautiful, I don't know, have a look and you decide.

I'll add the link down below.

If you say ''I'm confident enough to wear it and I can even pose'' then do so.

If not, mind your own business.

Finally, I bought a bikini bottom from H&M.

The sides of it are like this. I don't know how to explain it. It's like this.

How much is this?

50 Turkish Liras. Why is this 50 Turkish Liras?

H&M is usually cheaper.

This is comparatively more expensive.

I don't know why, I would like to believe

that it's from the ones that are more high in quality.

But again as I said, due to the fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate, it's normal.

It's a nice black bottom.

It will be necessary everywhere, you can combine it with everything.

You can wear any color on top of it.

Now it's time for the star piece of this video in my opinion.

This is also the piece which everyone asked a lot about.

Since I can't discriminate the front and the back part of this

it looks like a tablecloth. Honey, you're more than a tablecloth, behave yourself!

Okay, I found it.

This is my lovely

kimono!

It's beautiful. I wore this in my Car Talk video.

Everyone asked me where I got it from.

I also posted a photo on Instagram with this,

everyone asked it there too. I tried to answer as much as I can.

I bought this kimono from Zara.

I think it is too expensive. It's something that won't worth

170 Turkish Liras, in my opinion.

For example, they look alike with this thing I'm wearing right now.

This is not a kimono but, they are very similar with this blouse.

I bought this blouse for 10 Turkish Liras and paid 170 for the kimono

but of course I bought this for 10 Liras long years ago.

It's worth it

because I wear this type of things.

You can wear this on top of almost everything.

Since it's pretty long, nothing is understood like this.

I feel like I'm talking about a tablecloth.

I think I can wear a belt on this and some classy shorts below.

I paid 170 Turkish Liras to this because I think I will wear it pretty often, I'm glad I bought it.

The patterns on it are also very beautiful, they look a bit Bohemian.

There are some elephants on it, etc.

Even if it's not in stores, it still might be online in Zara.

It's been around

2 months since I bought this.

Finally we're at the bottoms.

I want to know that I am not alone on this earth,

I can't find jean shorts.

I can't find the jean shorts I'm looking for.

It's web is usually too wide,

or it reveals too much butt, etc.

Or they be too tight, or they be too loose or

they don't be high waisted. I can't find the shorts I'm looking for.

This is not the exact short I was looking for.

But due to the lack of shorts, I had to buy one.

I bought this from Levi's.

It's price was 170 Turkish Liras.

150 or 170, as I remember.

It's mold is good enough, it's not too high nor too low.

It fits with everything and I love this jean color.

It's such a nice jean color. But I still

can't find the shorts I look for.

If you guys know a place where

they sell very beautiful jean shorts, please write it down, I will be very happy.

Make me happy, I can't find the perfect jean shorts.

Here are the pants which I

admired while buying.

I bought this from Bershka. There's also a black version.

It's long

and its sleeves are Spanish-like.

I love it's color. What is this color called? Tile?

Whatever it is, I love it.

Its size is small.

But in my opinion,

since they're pants that fit perfectly

and that cover your body and make you body look beautiful,

you can try one smaller size of yours.

I bought the small size but I was also considering to buy the x-small size.

Small fit me just as I wanted. I recommend you to have a look.

So you can decide better.

Because you get the best benefit from this type of things

when they fit your body perfectly.

It looks very beautiful on your body, it's price is 100 Turkish Liras.

I think it's a very reasonable price.

But if you are not too tall,

you will have to wear them with high heels. I'm not very tall.

It requires me to wear high heels.

The sleeves wipe off the floor when I wear sneakers.

You can also cut the sleeves off a little bit.

If you say ''I love these pants very much, I can't wear high heels all day.''

You can shorten the sleeves. But as I said, there's also a black version.

You should have a look. It's worth it.

You can wear it with many things.

It's easy to combine with other clothes.

My wardrobe needs this kind of ''must have'' pieces.

Just like that one, I bought a bottom from Zara.

You can wear these with sneakers,

you don't need to wear high heels for this.

It's height is appropriate for it, I'm 169 cm tall.

It fits me with sneakers.

This one is also

pretty stylish. You can comfortably wear it in summer.

I also like the color very much.

You can also wear this with everything.

And you can combine this with high heels.

But the previous ones texture and fabric is more appropriate for high heels.

This is thinner and more transparent.

It's not too transparent

but it just doesn't have such a thick texture. The previous one is better

but this can also be combined with nice pieces.

And finally, in my opinion this is a ''must have'' of a wardrobe.

My black pants.

It still has its price tag on since I haven't wore it yet. From Bershka,

I bought them for 100 Turkish Liras.

By the way, Bershka's pants are unbelievably beautiful.

Especially this season, I love Bershka.

I think Zara is dead at the moment. It should revive from its ashes.

I almost won't be sad if I ever see a news

''Zara is moving from Turkey''.

There are some very bad pieces there. You can only buy 2-3 pieces maximum.

Bershka has gone crazy, make sure to visit it.

These pants also have

Spanish-like sleeves. It fits your body perfectly.

Again try both x-small and small on this one.

But since its waist is a bit tighter, don't insist on x-small

or your belly will pop out of it.

You know, when people

wear things with too tight waists, they bellies pop out

and it looks pretty bad.

Find the perfect size for your body. I found mine,

small fit me the best.

But I recommend you to try both sizes

to find the perfect match for your body. It's price is reasonable in my opinion.

It's fabric is not a daily fabric.

What are these fabrics called? I don't know.

It's not appropriate for daily use.

It's a bit thick, it can even make you sweat.

But it has a detail here, when you walk,

your legs get revealed and it looks very nice.

Again you should wear them with high heels.

Sneakers do not help you out.

But anyways, it's something that you would wear when you go out at night or somewhere special.

And the pieces are done.

It was a shopping which I needed a lot.

I hadn't done such a big shopping for a while.

So I think I bought

everything necessary in my wardrobe.

There's only jean shorts left that I'm looking for.

I couldn't get the benefit I was looking for from jean shorts.

But mostly, I think that

I have composed the summer frame of my wardrobe.

As I said, I need help about the jean shorts,

so please share if you know

any place where they sell nice jean shorts., I really need them.

Other than that, I will leave the links of the pieces

which I can find. You can have a look

from the stores or from the websites but

it will be better if you try the bikinis but I also bought 4 of them without trying from Trendyol.

But Trendyol's return policy is good.

If it doesn't fit you, you can easily return it.

You're lucky in that way. Whatever,

have a look and decide yourself.

This is it from my summer shopping.

I think it was a big one. See you guys

in another video, bye.

Why I Got My Nipples Tattooed | Macro Beauty | Refinery29 - Duration: 4:55.

I think it's really common for clients to become somewhat emotional over the experience.

At that point, they've dealt with so much and this is kind of the last stop to making

them feel whole again.

Coping with a double mastectomy is a vain process that you don't really realize when

you're fighting for your life.

This is what you use to define yourself as, and to have it taken away, you now have to

fight to find that new balance of femininity and your identity.

My name is Kim, I'm a breast cancer survivor, and I'm getting 3D nipple tattooing.

As part of the reconstruction, they throw some color on to have semblance of the actual

nipple, but I want it to be something that's a little bit more in depth.

I'd rather go with an experienced tattoo artist.

I don't know if it's gonna be such an extreme life-altering process,

or if this is just gonna be another small step.

Or is this gonna be a huge factor?

It's just something to really help get an identity back.

I've been tattooing for about 25 years.

I started in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The tattoo industry was a little bit different at that time.

You know, without the advantage of social media, you had to be well versed in a lot

of different styles just to make sure that you could pay your bills.

My name is Shane Wallin, I'm the owner of Garnet Tattoo in San Diego, California.

In 2012, I had the opportunity to work on a client who had been through breast cancer.

I didn't really expect to have that experience have such a big effect on me, but if really did.

For me, you know, just being through a long family battle with cancer, I related closely to that.

It just changed how I felt about tattooing and what I could give back to other people.

And just to elevate kind of what I was doing at the time.

I was approached by a plastic surgery office wondering if I could do an areola pigmentation.

The principles are basically like just doing a small color portrait tattoo.

So, you know, those are skills that I just applied to the areola pigmentation

and I started getting really great results right away.

I have clients come to see me from all over the world.

They're either looking to reinvent themselves, or possibly just get as close to where they

were before they had the breast cancer experience.

I have a consultation process where I ask them some questions as far as what they would

like to see, maybe where they were at before they had breast cancer, what their original

nipples looked like.

At that point, we'll make a few decisions based on what kind of a shape the client's

looking for, the size, the level of detail.

And I'll usually find a good base tone that I consider to be somewhere in the middle,

and then I'll mix several colors on either end of that for highlights and shading.

The anticipation is actually something that is a new world for me.

How's it gonna feel on the scar tissue?

How's it gonna feel where there's lack of nerve endings?

Am I even gonna feel anything?

The majority of my clients have very limited sensation.

But some people do have a little bit of feeling, and in that case I'll usually recommend

a lidocaine gel to help ease the sensation a little bit.

For the mastectomy client, there was a lot of anxiety involved, and a lot more emotions.

It was important to set up a safe, kind of a softer environment.

More of a one on one service, and kind of a private experience.

It was mind blowing, it really was.

Just– the amount of detail and the work that went into it.

I was probably over-anticipating the pain factor ahead of time.

There is a lack of nerve receptors that, you know, made it a lot nicer than what I expected.

I think this takes me back to the person I was before.

It makes me feel good that I can just kind of be the person who's just finishing up

all the details for 'em.

It's really gratifying.

Thank you for watching.

they also have the belt loops all right the materials I believe are we

have 95% cotton 5% spandex so you get that you know that stretch fit you know

walking around you want to be comfortable tight you know the clothes

comfortable they actually are all right they fit great I like them slim all

look nice so I like to have a nice pair of pants you know jeans they sometimes

it could be a little bit fun more uncomfortable side especially in the

warm and the warmer temperatures so these are you know really comfortable

versatile because like you see I could wear this with a nice button-up shirt

polo shirt or just a regular t-shirt you know looks good with sneakers all right

regular summertime sneakers so these pants right here are really comfortable

I do have I do have another color as all right these are actually the solo

style pants all right so these are sage this color is sage all right so it's

kind of like the color of my shirt a little bit I would probably wear with a

darker color but let's try these on to see how they fit now these do not have

the drawstring they just have the bands but if you look at the pants there's

just a nice a nice pair of pants you have the you know the khaki style look

What Schools Don't Teach You About Money - Duration: 9:51.

Welcome back to Limitless TV. Have you ever wondered why schools don't teach

you anything about money? Hey friends, Stephen Michael Miller here and I'm

am I'm going to be on a rant. I'm going to warn you right now a buckle in because we're

about to talk about one of my favorite topics which is school and it's not what

you think, okay? I have actually gotten my degree. I went to college. I got my

bachelor's degree in business, in international business actually with a

little subtext of management information systems. But the question here is why

don't schools teach you about money or what do schools teach you about money? So

hang tight here because I'm about to go off. Schools don't really teach you

about money. Okay, I was in the world of business. I was in the world of

international business. And I took a finance class, I took an investment class,

I took accounting. I took all those basic classes that come along with your

typical business degree and I will tell you right now that the things that I

learned in those classes, were already out of date. As soon as I graduated from

college, I got into business. Almost directly after I graduated from college,

I actually came out and I went into business with Kris. Now, a lot of you

don't know this but I met Kris years and years ago out in Germany. We were

doing some service out in Germany and we became great friends. Had always talked

about going into business with each other. So, we never knew if that would

amount to anything or not. But but when we got back home from being overseas , we

circumstances happened we finally at one point went into business with each other.

And when I went into business with Kris, nothing that I learned in school that I

can remember, helped me in any way shape or form. Now, this isn't to say that

school is horrible or that you shouldn't go to school that's not my

conversation right now. But the conversation is as school does not teach

you how to create money. It does not teach you how to create wealth. School on

a whole, teaches you how to be an employee for the most part. As a matter

of fact, most people that go to school for

even some of the more popular types of degrees or those that you're told

that you should do, right? If you're told to go to school to become a doctor or an

engineer or an architect or you know or any of the top five or ten type of money

makers out there. Professions that will earn you the most. Although they teach

you great skills and although they're very important at times, they typically

do not teach you how to be a business owner.

They don't teach you how to create money, how to create wealth. They teach you how

to be an employee. Like even the doctors, right? They teach you a great skill. They

teach you how to how to save people's lives, they teach you all about the body

and how to navigate, they teach you how to practice proper medicine, how to

find problems and define solutions for those problems. But they

don't teach you how to grow and sustain an amazing practice. They don't teach you

how to build a business around it. They teach you how

to be a dentist but they don't teach you how to set up the office and how to

acquire the right type of you know equipment that you need. They don't teach

you how to manage employees properly and how to set it up so that it's going to be

really profitable for you in the long term. So school does not teach you how to

create, how to grow, how to really even manage your wealth. School teaches you

skills at times that you can then implement. So, here's my whole

thing. I mean you know my wife and I, we decided a couple years ago that we

wanted to home-school our children. Now, this is where maybe some of that rent

comes into play. So, bear with me and I'm going to get into some of our founding

fathers information because I'm passionate about some of that as well. I

read a book several years ago called "John Adams" . And I read alongside of John

Adams. I read 1776. Both of these books are written by David McCullough, an

amazing author. I think he's a Pulitzer Prize winning author. He's an amazing

individual in historical fiction or historical nonfiction and when I read

John Adams I learned more about what we should do to create wealth. Then

probably most other books that I've ever read. I learned more about

education or education systems or how we should educate ourselves in order

to create the life that we want, then from a lot of other things.

From anything I learned in school. What I've learned was that John Adams had a

passion. He had something that he was focused on. Something he loved, right? Back

in John Adams day, the school system was different. People didn't just go to

school, pick a major, learn it and then go get a job. People discovered first what

they loved, right? Actually, this is a different concept. They said and John

Adams believed in this. Before you find your your occupation, you need to

discover and understanding your vocation. Now, you're going to ask me what this has to

do with with schools and creating wealth. Well, I'll tell you here in just a minute.

But what is your vocation? Well, we understand vocation. We believe that our

vocation is another word for your occupation, right? Oftentimes, we think

that our vocation maybe more of a hands-on type of thing. If you go to a

vocational College, sometimes that's like being an auto

mechanic or an x-ray technician or some of those more hands-on training type of

things. But that's not what vocation actually means. If you look up the

etymology of what vocation is, vocation actually means you find out your purpose,

your God-given purpose and then you build your occupation around that. So,

your vocation is your higher purpose which you're supposed to then build your

occupation around. We're taught differently. We're taught to go to school,

and to pick the degree that will earn us the most money because that's what we

need to be able to take care of our family or to support ourselves well or

whatever, right? We're told from society and sometimes even from our parents or

our parents' parents, sometimes this is generational. We're told that we can't

make money doing what we love. But the reality is it's just the opposite.

I've learned exactly the opposite. Most people that get after passionately what

they love, will actually create more money. Don't just go to school to do

something that you feel like you're supposed to do to create a dollar. Go to

school if it's right for you because you have come to an understanding

of what you love, what your vocation is and you school as a tool to help build

the proper occupation around what you are passionate about.

That's how school can be helpful in helping you earn more money. But it's not

going to get you there by itself. So you need to learn first of all, again like I

said, what John Adams did. Which by the way to talk about John Adams,

do you know what John Adams was passionate about? Have you learned about

that? I don't remember learning about this in school but I look at about it

when I read the book. John Adams was passionate about law. He loved everything

that had to do with law. Now, I don't know if you're like me. But I can't stand, I

shouldn't say it that way. I actually love law. I'm not passionate about law. I

love what law does from yet, I like to understand some things about law. But I'm

not passionate about law. I've got a brother who's a lawyer. He's an amazing

lawyer but I couldn't do what he does because I have no desire for that. I've

no passion in it. You sent me in front of a law book, I promise you within 5 to 10

minutes I'll be snoring. Like I'll be asleep. It'll put me directly to sleep

because I have no passion for it. Yeah, we send our kids to school all day, every

day, typically, telling them to learn things

that often times they have no passion for. They have no inclination towards

and we tell them they have to learn those things because it's what's

expected in society. Rather than helping to support them to learn those things

that will help them create true wealth. Think about this for a moment. When

you're passionate about something, how do you attack it? Do you get after it more?

Are you excited about it more? Does that excitement actually fuel what you're

doing? Do other people see what you're doing in your excitement? When you're

working inside your genius, don't people come up to you and say afterwards, wow!

that was awesome! I think that was really neat to

experience. You're really talented in that and they get excited because of

your excitement. This is what school should be and this is what school should

teach but it typically does not. And so, school isn't going to necessarily make you

rich. School isn't going teach you how to earn more money but getting inside of

your passions and learning how to apply those passions to a business or the

growing wealth, is going to make you more money. John Adams would spend hours on

the steps of the congressional congress, speaking to his fellow brothers and

sisters. People that were there is fellow founding fathers and tell him all about

why liberty was important. Because he had poured over law. He had learned his craft

and it made him a truly successful individual in all areas of his life but

also, professionally. So, can school help you create wealth? Can school make you

money? I'm going ti say it's not the school, it's you.

Utilizing school for the proper way. If that's your right path. If school is your

right path, then get a mentor. Get someone who is passionate about what you're

passionate about. Who has experience in what you're looking to experience, what

you're looking to create and learn from them. We used to do this a long time ago.

It's called apprenticeship. Where people would pay to go and learn from the

master. From someone who's been there and done that. You want to learn how to

create true money in your life. School may be a good answer for you but it may

also not. Learning from people who have been there and done that now, that can

help you create true wealth in your life. Alright friends, hopefully I've

convinced you a little bit here about doing things a little bit differently

and learning more. If you'd like to learn more go ahead and subscribe. We're always

putting out videos about how you can create greater wealth in your life. Have

a great day and we'll see you tomorrow.

Malá Charlottka si s tatínkem střihla hitovku Somewhere over the Rainbow a na pódiu to pořádně roztočila

One Piece of Advice for a New YouTuber in 2018 - Duration: 4:00.

Do you have one piece of advice for any

YouTuber starting out their journey

today? Expect to suck. Hello today we are

here with Evan Carmichael. What's

your channel how many subscribers do you

have? It's my name Evan Carmichael

and we're at 1.3 million. Awesome,

congratulations.

Do you have one piece of advice for any

YouTuber starting out their journey

today. Expect to suck, which is good.

A lot of people who are starting on

YouTube have YouTube heroes, you have

channels, you look up to them and say I could

do something like that and then you try

and you don't. Your first video will suck

and that's okay because you only suck

right now. Like with anything the

quantity leads to the quality: the more

you do the better you will get at doing

that thing and so expect to suck at the

very beginning. I made 350 videos before

I was not completely embarrassed by my

content. In 350 videos I would watch and

be just totally embarrassed I thought

this sucks but I still put it up.I was

embarrassed by it most people give up

after one video or three videos or five

videos, they don't just keep going.

You will suck at the

beginning that's okay that's great, the

celebration isn't in the quality of the

content it's in the momentum that you're

building and so just keep going, make

another one, make another one, make

another one, be better than you were

yesterday and if you keep going

eventually you'll succeed.

Can you just extrapolate that in your

channel because I think some of the

viewers will be astonished to know how

many videos you create on a regular

basis. Yeah and listen I had no talent at

the beginning I don't have a natural

gift for this. I'm an introverted person

which doesn't come across in these

interviews and in my videos which took

me a long time to get better. I think a

lot of you watching have a lot more

natural talent and will get there faster than

I did. I make three videos a day, we've

done six thousand videos. Not all of them

are public on the channel not six

thousand videos. There's a lot of work

right and so if you are doing something

6,000 times you will just get better at

it. You get better, get better at it if you

try doing anything 6,000 times so the

quantity will lead to the quality. The

more you practice at anything,

the more you practice piano the better

you're going to get at it. You'll just

sit at the piano and and play a, amazing

piece,

you practice, you practice, you practice

you practice, you practice, you put in the

reps. You do it 26 times, every single

time, every take 26 times and then you

post it. Last question,

we're a big analytics company of course

we're interested in numbers

what's the analytic that excites you

most on YouTube, what do you look for

every day to improve your content. So

if you're making a lot of content

then what to do is look at different

series. So maybe one series is you

ranting in the bathroom, in another

series you walk the dog, another

series is giving your opinion on

something. Start looking at each series

and the two pieces of data that

we really pay the most attention to is

one watch time because that's what

YouTube really cares about.

So is this series generating watchtime

higher than average for our channel and

if not how do we improve it. And two:

subscriber growth. Ss this series leading

to subscriber growth for my channel? I

don't want to be creating a series that

is losing growth unless it's for a

strategic purpose. Like if you made a

series pitching your new book you'll

probably lose subscribers for that video

for that series but you get gains

somewhere else and that you're selling a

book but if you're doing a bathroom rant

and you think it's a good video when

you're losing subscribers because of it

you might want to adjust it. Either how

do I make this bit, how do I make this

series better so that we're bringing

subscribers in or kill this series move

on to something else. And that's Evan

Carmichael. Thank you very much

Well it looks as if you're not

compatible with such a device so you

would just have to remain a medium size

influencer... can you help me out here you

Gotta learn to make better videos, man.

Where were we?

Then that happened.

What was my question?

Indigo - Duration: 2:22.

Vaccines have two problems.

They spoil if they get too hot, and if the water in them freezes, they don't work.

So, it's, you've got to keep in this range of 2 degrees Centigrade

and below 8 degrees Centigrade.

It's very tricky because you're going out to very rural areas

where there's not reliable electricity.

You want to be able to carry something small that one person, whether walking or on a bike

or motor bike can get out and offer vaccination very close to where the people are.

Historically, if you wanted to go to a remote place, you would get an ice chest with a bunch

of ice like you would with, say, beer, and that's going to melt on you pretty quickly.

It's not going to last for a lot of days, and even making ice is very hard because that

takes a lot of power, takes some type of electricity.

So we've been working on an invention that uses no electricity, no ice, and no batteries.

It's called the Indigo.

It's an insulated container with an extra layer that holds water at a low pressure.

When you turn it on, the water evaporates and that cools the chamber to between 2 and

8 degrees Centigrade.

The water moves to the outer layer at an exact rate, so it stays cold for several days at a time.

That's what Indigo is, and its operation is dead simple.

No waiting around for ice to freeze, there's just an on/off switch.

As long as you can heat it back up – because heating is how you push the water back to

the start of its cycle – it works.

Then when you turn it on, you get your 5 to 7 days and you're not thinking about ice

or electricity and those vaccines will stay at the temperature you want.

So an ideal overall system would store vaccines at the bigger, primary healthcare center,

and then you use this new Indigo to go out to the tough locations so it's easy for

the parents to bring their kids no matter where they live.

Art Journaling with Jane Davenport | Craftsy | Michaels - Duration: 4:59.

- Hi, I'm Jane Davenport,

and this is my Maker's Story.

I didn't go to art school.

I don't have any formal qualifications.

But I've always drawn and painted.

I have such an acute form of loving color,

loving art supplies, that I joke,

and say I have rainbow-itis to normalize it.

And I discovered art journaling through another artist,

and it really rocked my world.

The joy of an art journal is there's no fixed end,

and there's no outcome,

and I don't have to finish something.

No one ever has to look at it.

It's purely for me.

For people that have never considered this before,

or have always thought, I'm not an artist,

I can't do this, I have no talent,

forget all of that.

There's no rules,

so you can literally create whatever you like.

Now I wanna show you one way

of starting a page in an art journal.

First thing you need is some really nice paper.

I love working in a journal with watercolor paper.

So I like to get all of my art supplies out.

I have all of my colors, so that I feel inspired,

and they just make me feel happy.

The basics, I feel, have to be acrylic paint.

So matte acrylic paint allows me to use colored pencil,

paint pens, pastels, and ink,

or whatever I want to use on top of them.

I like to break up the page

so that I don't get blank page-itis.

So what I tend to do is grab a favorite color,

and then I can write whatever's on my mind.

Now I'm just going to add some color.

And again, I'm working intuitively.

So I'm just gonna add a little bit of a color

that feels nice at the time.

I'm gonna paint right over what I've already created.

Just getting a slightly damp paintbrush,

and just spreading those colors out.

And what I like to try and do is just sink into that feeling

of the paint and the paintbrush.

It just feels really nice.

So it doesn't matter what this looks like.

There are no rules.

There's no reason to do any particular thing,

'cause this is just part of a journey, part of a page.

Now I'm just going to look at what I've got happening,

and pick out one favorite bit.

And I love this bit here with the copper.

So I've added a little bit more

of the copper here and there.

So I'm adding more of what's making me happy

to this creative mess, and it is a mess.

I really want to add another bit of contrast,

so a color that's from the opposite spectrum.

So I've got warm colors, fire colors.

And so I'm gonna add something completely opposite.

Other wonderful, valuable thing about keeping a journal,

an art journal, is you get to learn your materials.

So I'm gonna use some crayons, and just add some marks.

The next thing I want to do

is add a little bit of light to this,

a little bit of lightness.

So I've got a white crayon again.

And I'm kind of gonna randomly place it.

It might be stars eventually, I don't know.

I just feel like doing dots.

If I feel like doing a few little scallops here on the side,

then I'm gonna do a little few scallops on the side.

And to me, this now feels like

I've got a bit of a circus happening.

And I think something is emerging from the paper.

So I'm just gonna really loosely draw.

Now this is a paint marker,

so I know that it's going to work on top of this.

But again, I'm not judging.

I've got eyes, mouths in the wrong spot.

It's a journal,

and if at any point I don't like

what it is that I'm creating,

I can just turn to another page.

I wanna make these lips stand out a bit, too,

so I'm going to just add some paint markers.

These are terrific,

because you can block whatever is out underneath.

They dry very quickly.

So I've got texture going on.

I've got shiny versus matte.

All of these things are making me feel very happy.

And it's just this adding of layers,

making things more and more complex as I go along,

that is, it's fun.

So this is my message to myself for the day.

And I say, trust the mess,

because the mess is so much fun to create. (laughs)

This has been a cathartic process.

Mysterious in the bath. A cartoon by Korney Chukovsky online. [Moustached Nanny] - Duration: 2:07.

Kornei Chukovsky

Fly in the bath

The fly flew into the bath,

I wanted to get interested.

Cockroach firewood chopped,

Mukhe flooded the bath.

A furry bee She brought it to her bast.

The fly was washed, The fly was washed,

The fly was hovering, Yes, I fell down,

Has rolled And she struck.

The rib dislocated, She turned her shoulder.

"Hey, Murash ant, Call the doctors! "

Grasshoppers came, Fly dripped with drops.

There was a fly, as it was, Good and cheerful.

And rushed off again Along the street to fly.

✅ W sprawach Magdaleny Żuk i Marcina M. jest wiele podobieństw. Ta teoria zaskakuje! - Duration: 3:57.

An update on King Boo's Seven Towers - Duration: 1:21.

Hello everyone, this is just a quick video to keep you updated about the

current state of King Boo's Seven Towers. As you probably know, the game was announced

long ago, and I even initially planned on releasing it on September 1st 2017, but

due to an incredible amount of bugs technical problems and game-breaking

fuck-ups I now have to remake the whole game from scratch. It shouldn't take as

long to do everything over again since the levels are already modeled and I

have most of the game planned out, but there are other problems that are

slowing me down. The tools I use are either broken or

missing important features, so I can't import the levels right now - but I will

take advantage of this imposed break to rework the levels.

I plan on greatly improving, balancing, and redesigning the game to make it more

fun and fair to play. I think the game would benefit from having custom objects

and ASM, but I don't know how to actually do this stuff. If you can want to help me

on this project, I'll gladly accept your help.Just send me a message on Discord!

I'm sorry about the delays, and I'm working hard to give you the best

experience I can. I know it's a very, very short game but it means a lot to me and

I'm glad to see that people are waiting for it. See you next time!

Anti-Meta Scoia'tael - Gwent in-depth Guide - Duration: 25:15.

Hey, Green Cricket here, with another weekly in-depth Gwent guide

chosen by the community, which is you!

Last week's voting was pretty diverse and you couldn't really agree

on where we wanna go. The direction was something Scoia'tael,

so this is why this week, we are looking at some "Anti-Meta" Scoia'tael.

We look at the Card & Decklist

A Mulligan Guide The General Gameplay plan

A guide how to play against each matchup And then we look at an example match.

The Core of the deck is a mixture of Elves and Dwarves.

We took the best of both worlds and put it together.

On the Dwarf side, we are using Dwarven Agitators, which can spawn a copy of a random Dwarf in

the deck.

Since we only have 1 in there, it will always spawn a Dwarven Skirmisher, which deals 3

damage and if the enemy survives, it will buff itself by 3, therefore providing us with

12 points or 13 if played by an agitator.

Sometimes you can also use the damage of the Skirmishers to line up a good double Scorch.

On the Elf side, we are using Half-Elf Hunter for solid 12 points as well and Elven Mercenary.

Elven Mercenary pulls 2 Special Cards from our deck and then lets us choose one to play.

In this deck, those are Mahakam Ale for straight 12 points again or Reconnaissance for thinning

and to be able to put Elves quickly onto the board.

Playing Elven Mercenary and choosing Reconnaissance into another Merc and repeating that until

three mercs are on the board and then choosing Half-Elf Hunter enables you to get Aelirenn

onto the board in your first play.

For those of you new to Gwent: Aelirenn always jumps from the deck onto a random row on the

battlefield as soon as 5 Elves are on the friendly side of the board.

Barclay Els gives us additional tempo by playing and strengthening a random Dwarf by 3, therefore

providing us with a minimum of 17 points when played.

Hattori lets us revive a dead Elven Mercenary or preferable Barclay Els for a 20 point play,

which comes handy in round 3.

Yaevinn is always good to have to counterspy the enemy while giving us access to our spells,

and it will give us a Scorch target if Shirru struggles to find a target.

Isengrim: Outlaw acts as a thin and Spell access tool, with the ability to create a

Silver elf as a fallback, if there are no spells left in the deck.

The Spells Isengrim: Outlaw can pull: Marching Orders - giving us access to agitators, mercenaries,

but most importantly Hattori we thinned the deck.

Artefact Compression to get rid of a high point unit on the enemy side or to deny an

enemy's win condition by transforming a core card like Nekkers or Greatswords

and of course Mahakam Ale and Recon, but Mercenaries should play those or you may end up with a

dead one.

By choosing Eithne as a leader, we can use all those spells a second time, making this

a very flexible deck countering a lot of other decks in the current meta.

Don't forget that you can also replay the spell that Shirru spawns.

So you could play two Scorches against Handbuff or two Epidemics against Soldier Swarm.

Aglais banishes a spell from the enemy's graveyard and plays it, providing us with a ton of value

in most of the cases, while giving us great versatility against decks, which play a lot

of spells like Alchemy.

Muzzle is out last gold card stealing an enemy unit with a maximum of 8 power, therefore

hitting for 16 points, but most importantly denying the enemy an engine or key card of

the deck.

Typical targets are Archespore, Greatswords, Nekkers, Dragoons, etc.

You get the idea.

If an enemy card is not in Muzzle range, then use your Dwarven Skirmishers to beat it down

to 8 points and below.

The Mulligan would look like this:

Keep: Dwarven Agitator, Elven Mercenary, Barclay,

Yaevinn, you Silver spells and Golds.

Cards you want to get rid off are: All bronze spells, so Elven Mercenary can

pull them.

Dwarven Skirmishers, so Dwarven Agitator has a target

and Aelirenn, so she can jump out of the deck.

Blacklisting is very important here and very effective because every card is included three

times.

For example: If you have 1 Recon in hand and 2 Skirmishers, then start with mulliganning

the Recon, so the chance of getting cards you want is higher because you will not draw

into another Recon for the duration of this mulligan.

But since Aelirenn lurks into the deck, don't take the risk and mulligan a third time, if

you haven't already mulliganned her.

Since we don't run that many elves, there are not much chances to get Aelirenn onto

the board, and by having her on hand in round 1, you will probably be stuck with her until

the remaining of the match.

Our gameplay plan would look like this:

Round 1 we want to thin.

We'd start off with Elven Mercenaries into Reconnaissance to pull more Mercenaries and

Half-Elf Hunters to get Aelirenn out.

Then we place Dwarven Agitators and Barclay for even more tempo.

After this Hattori will have decent resurrection targets, but keep count of your Skirmishers

in the deck, because you need at least 1 Skirmisher in the deck for round 3 when we use Hattori

to resurrect Barclay.

The strength of this deck lies in the stable and consistent value output, but decks like

Swap Scoia'tael, Greatswords, etc. will be able to out-tempo us in a long round.

Therefore we always play into round 1, to not give away control of the length of round

2.

Splitting rounds into two half long round or even three shorter rounds is the perfect

situation.

The key to winning round 3 is to utilise the options you are presented with Eithne as the

leader of the deck.

Depending on the matchup you may want to choose between double artefact compression, scorch

through Shirru or marching orders to deny the enemy's gameplay entirely or to just put

quite some points on the board through Marching Orders.

Since most of the gameplay depends on the matchup, let's better get right into them!

Greatswords Through Eithne, we have two Artifact compressions

ready to deny 2 Greatswords, and in round 3 we can use Shirru to take care of the last

remaining Greatsword, therefore robbing the enemy of their win conditions.

If we are lucky and draw Muzzle as well, then we can even steal the third Greatsword, enabling

us to Scorch a big boat.

As long as we draw those cards we should not run into problems with this matchup and cards

like Yaewinn and Isengrim will help us to get access to them.

If we miss some of those cards, then wait until they have set up their engines and then

pass to not get outtempo'ed in a long round and to force them to redo their setup.

Veterans Veterans have some decent consistent value

output as well, but they will have a lot 11 points unit on the board thanks to their Bearmasters.

Try to get off a triple scorch and if they use Mandrake on a Bearmaster, then use Muzzle

to steal it to prevent it's resurrection later.

Otherwise, use Muzzle on a strengthened Hunter, maybe you can even deny them a Spearmaiden

target.

Consider creating an Elf from Isengrim, since Artifact compression may not be too useful

and Toruviel and co will earn you more points.

Axemen Muzzle, Compress and Scorch their Axemen and

Derran to remove one significant threat.

Weather will still tick, but through splitting rounds, you can evade a bit of damage and

force the enemy to reapply it.

Aglais may be able to steal a Skellige Storm, so your enemy does not get ahead from weather

alone.

Play 1 point units always on the left side of the board, so Skellige Storm is not able

to tick for full value.

Swap Scoia'tael They shine in a long round, so pass before

you expect their Vanguards to be played.

If you're stuck in a longer round, then use your Skirmishers to kill off 3 point elves,

or they will grow big later.

Keep Artifact Compression and Scorch to get rid of big Vrihedd Officers.

Nilfgaard Handbuff Try to line up a double Scorch with your Skirmishers

and get rid off the remaining buffed up units with Artifact compression and use Eithne to

repeat it.

In round 1 try to push without those spells as long as possible, because using them in

round 3 will be more valuable.

If you have Artifact compression on hand and you think you can deny the setup with a double

artefact compression, then go for it, but if your enemy manages to set up their handbuff

unit anyway, then you have given away a big part of your win condition, so this is a risky

play.

Alchemy Aglais will be very valuable here because

she will have a big choice of spells available, If the enemy plays Cahir and uses Mandrake

onto Calveit, then play Aglais, steal Mandrake and undo it or you will be hit by a point

spike in round 3.

If the enemy uses Mandrake on roach, then you could consider hitting it with a skirmisher

and then steal it with Muzzle.

Other than that Artifact compression will be your friend because you can deny Witchers

as resurrection targets and through Ale and Swallow their units will be quite big and

get you quite some points.

Soldiers They will play a lot of Slave Infantries to

don't play your 1 point units.

Play Half Elf Hunters and Skirmishers as starters and wait until 2 or 3 Infantries are on the

board.

Then use Shirru with Epidemic to clear them, therefore denying your enemy targets for Sentries.

When they try to do the setup again, you can use Eithne to repeat, but you need to evaluate

if you can hold back your 1 point units for a bit longer.

Typically one Epidemic is enough anyway.

Deathwish Muzzle an Archespore early in the round and

keep putting points onto the board.

You can think of using double Artifact compression on their Dao's, which is not a lot of points

initially but prevents Brewess from resurrecting them and also denies a good griffin target.

If they play 26 cards and everything looks like Nova will come out, then keep Shirru

to get rid of her.

Moonlight Let them play their Moonlights and then get

out of the round after you have seen 2-3.

In round 3 when they use their remaining Moonlight, you can use Aglais to steal a Moonlight from

their graveyard and then override it, so their werewolves won't trigger anymore.

Don't row stack too much or their Blood Moon will punish you, but except that keep pushing

with your bronze cards.

And now for some example gameplay!

BROCCOLI SALAD | the perfect party salad recipe - Duration: 4:30.

- Hi guys and welcome back.

When most of us think of salad recipes

we instantly gravitate to salads with spinach

and arugula and kale and other leafy greens.

Well today I'm gonna introduce you to a new salad recipe

that's still green but no leaves are involved

and it may just knock your socks off.

It's a simple broccoli salad

and it's creamy, crunchy, sweet

and I really think you're gonna love it.

So, let me show you how to make it.

The only item that requires any cooking

in this broccoli salad is the bacon.

So we'll get started by placing eight slices of bacon

on a parchment-lined baking tray.

Whenever I cook a whole package of bacon like this,

I always bake it in the oven

rather than use the stove top

as it's much easier and cleaner.

And I have another video on my channel

that walks you through this step by step.

So we'll cook the bacon for about 15 minutes

or until it's crispy and while that's cooking

we'll get the rest of our salad together.

The bulk of our salad is raw broccoli

and I'm using a large head of broccoli

that equals about five cups of small broccoli florets

once we chop them off.

Now you may not know this but you can sprialize

the leftover broccoli stem and make broccoli noodles.

I don't show it in my spiralizer video

but it's definitely possible and definitely delicious.

So once you have all the florets,

just make sure they're in bite sized pieces

and then add them to a bowl.

(upbeat music)

Next, you'll dice up a red onion

and you want about a third of a cup of red onion.

Then add that to the bowl as well.

(upbeat music)

At this point our bacon should be done

so remove that from the oven

and transfer the bacon to a paper towel to dry.

And remember that the bacon will continue to crisp up

as it dries.

(upbeat music)

The last few ingredients in our salad include,

a half a cup of sunflower seeds,

a half a cup of dried cranberries

and a quarter cup of goat cheese.

These ingredients are all really flexible

so if you'd like to swap in a different seed,

nut or dried fruit go for it.

You can even make this broccoli salad dairy free

and I have a few tips on how to do that on the blog post.

At this point, the bacon should be cooled

and a little more crunchy so go ahead

and crumble that into the salad.

(upbeat music)

The dressing for this salad is super easy

and is just a combination of mayonnaise and yogurt

but I always make my mayonnaise at home

because it's so incredibly easy and fresh.

You guys have likely seen this

on my earlier how to make mayonnaise video

but all you have to do is add one egg,

a half a tablespoon of lemon juice,

a teaspoon of white wine vinegar,

a half a teaspoon of Dijon mustard, a pinch of salt

and one cup of neutral flavored oil

and I'm using a light olive oil.

Then grab your stick blender

and hold it firmly on the bottom while you turn it on.

The mayonnaise will start to emulsify

and reach the top and when it does,

you can then move the blender up and down

to make sure that everything is fully blended.

We'll combine a half a cup of mayonnaise

with a quarter cup of yogurt and you guessed it,

I'm using my homemade yogurt

but you could of course use store-bought yogurt as well.

Then stir that together.

Top it on the salad and combine everything together

for a delicious broccoli salad.

(upbeat music)

I hope you guys enjoyed this video

and if you did make sure to give it a thumbs up

and hit that subscribe button below

so you don't miss my next video.

HOW TO SOUND LIKE A FRENCH NATIVE SPEAKER - Duration: 5:15.

Hello everyone, this is Rosa Li

And today I'm gonna give you guys some advices to sound more like French native people. I'm a French girl

I've always lived in Paris and sometimes when I walk in the street I can

Hear and see some strangers talking in French

but sometimes they make some mistakes that even we French people make

It sounds like weird. So today I'm gonna give you some advices to sound more like French guy

So my first advice for you guys is not to follow all the rules that you've learned or

the rules that your teacher told you to follow, idk

But today we will see the rule of the "Je ne sais pas"

so "Je ne sais pas" in French is

the translation of I don't know in English

but we never ever

EVEERRR say "Je NE sais pas". You will never hear a single French people

Say "Je-Ne-Sais-Pas" way too long way too complicated

and we French people love it when it's simple. It won't be "Je NE sais pas", it will just be "Je sais pas". For example if someone

ask you what time is it? You say I don't know if you don't know the hour, in French, it would be "Il est quelle heure?" and

the answer would be

"Je NE sais pas", but without the "NE" so it would be "Je sais pas", I don't know, je sais pas

My second advice is the French "we" : the "nous", in French "nous" means literally we in English

Buuuut, we never use it. So for example if someone ask you "where are you?" You will answer "we are at the cinema"

in French it will be "Vous êtes où?" for the question and the answer will be

"on est au cinéma"

"on" is the exact same thing of the "nous" it's you plus other people. Like really no one uses

the nous, no one

My third advice will be to use some simple words

which are not even words. Those little words are the "bahhhh" and the "euhhh"

It is so french!! For example the baaah is more like when it's an obvious answer for example

If someone ask you "how old are you?" if it is your mom like she HAS to know it.You would say "bahhhhhh

*your age*", you're 20 years old you say "bah 20 (vingt)"

It's so obvious like, come on

Bahhh 20. It would come naturally when you hear some French people talk. They will always say the baaaah

And the second most common one

is the "eeuuuh"

So.. people use it when they're thinking of an answer

when they're thinking of something we always say the "euuhh"

Imagine if again someone ask you "How old are you?", but you don't know how old you are you would say

"Euuhhhh 20"

Like hum think it's this. That is I think the most common case where you can use it

But I think they're much more than one. But again those little two words

You can use it with friends family or people that you're close with

never use this in front of your boss in front of your teachers in front of

people that you don't know well because it will sound kind of rude and

Like it is not pretty to hear actually. My forth advice for your guys will be to you some

abbreviations when you talk. So for example

Oh there's a bird

Okay. So let's look for example the present tense of the verb be. It would be "Je suis, tu es,

il est, etc"

Let's take the "Tu es" for example, so the Tu es

We never say "Tu es" way too long way too complicated again

We French people love it when it's simple so we won't say "Tu es" we will say "T'es"

Like T.. bla-bla

Mm-hmm

way much easier. "Tu es où?" : where are you, it will be "T'es où?"

but again, just

When you're speaking not when you're writing. When you're writing sentence

write "Tu es" always, not "T'es" is just when you talk

Just when you talk!!

For the verb have, "tu as" will be "T'as"

For the "there is", it is "Il y a" in french. But we never say il y a, we say "y'a"

y'a 15 (quinze) chiens, there is fifteen dogs

Not "il y a 15 chiens" way too long way too complicated

Not for us. So thank you guys for watching this video

I hope you liked it you guys in the comment if you like this video and if it was helpful for you and

if it was then maybe I will do a second edition of this because I

Have a lot of things to say. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, and bye

Being Burnout 🔥& Taking Yourself Seriously - Duration: 9:46.

Hello everyone, welcome back to another video it is

Francesco here. Welcome to Keep Productive YouTube channel

if you are brand new and if your regular welcome back

So in today's video I want to do something very different

Today, I want to talk about a theme that has come up in my life while i've been freelancing

And it's something that I think might be helpful for you

so what I'm going to do today, and this could be totally different from what I normally do which it is is

Share some of my lessons from that theme and what I'm learning currently at the moment

Hopefully it might provide you some value in your own experience

maybe with your own projects maybe even with your own jobs, but hopefully you'll provide you some indication of

Some lessons that have been learned

So just to give you a bit of background the theme that I want to talk to you today is taking yourself seriously

And this is something that it's not gonna be sort of motivational value

I'm going to talk about the sort of like premise of it as in like things like gear things like process things like tools

Because I think this is something that it's been in the back of my mind for a long time

so just to give you a bit of background I

Have for many of you guys who may know I have been freelancing since I left University

Which I've been very honored to do and have been very honored to know some

Amazing contacts who I guess have been able to sort of push me forward in that area. And that's a

great, like I

very grateful for that whole thing, which is perfect being able to

Be self-employed after University because I know that a lot of students struggle to find jobs

but the thing I wanted to

The thing that I had in the back of my head since then is this concept of taking yourself seriously

so the reason why it sort of come up is because when I finished in graduate different university

I got a lot of something called impostor syndrome

Which probably you may have heard about a lot and it's essentially when you feel like you're an imposter

And that definitely is seen because I would look what other people

Would be doing after University like colleagues and friends

And I will see them and I'm like, okay

I'm doing something slightly different from them

To some extent a bit more riskier and things like that and I would look at them and go. You know what I

Wasn't as smart as them in school in college with university and they seemed to be doing

Stuff differently from me to some extent and I would just judge myself and sort of

Overthink it and I guess to some extent that fell into the way that I did work

So I've got a few notes here and there's three things that I think have been

Affected in the process. So when I finish University and I was doing freelancing this

Process of me thinking not taking myself seriously would affect my gear. So I was after University. I

Were at once I was at university. I started this YouTube channel as well as doing freelancing and at startup that it worked out

during that time at the startup and during that time freelancing and even doing that I

Didn't have too much money, which is fine. So I was using resources that were very minimal

I was using a moto G to film you could probably tell from the old videos and

I was using a Chromebook which is for those who didn't like a 100

250 dollar laptop, which doesn't have any programs installed?

And as you can imagine I was using bare minimum resources

Even though I could have probably invested a lot earlier

so it got to a point where I was like actually I need to invest in a new resource and

But but I took so long to get there because I was in this

mindset of taking not taking myself seriously

Because I was actually like okay, that's it. And that's totally not going to someone who's freelancing

You need the best resources to do this

but I was very much struggling for about six to nine months creating videos or even

Doing bits of work because I didn't actually have the tools to help me out and maybe in the last six months

This is definitely become and even stuff like my bookkeeping

I haven't done very well because I haven't been taking myself too. Seriously

I haven't been investing in really strong tools and a guess around a lot of stuff. So

In the last couple months is become very prevalent and it's something that is a theme in the back of my head

so if some extent my lessons here were the gear

Although not directly important can have an impact on how you work

and since upgrading gear like when I agreed to this this new laughs this new camera the

results were absolutely amazing and I actually

doubled alot or

Tripled a lot of the work I was doing and the same with the laptop when I moved from the Chromebook to the MacBook Air

I was tripled

The actual work I was doing and actually the output so I actually in that process taking myself seriously

It's definitely something that I had in the back of my head

It's sort of like I'm a big f1 fan

I guess when you picked four fresh tires to some extent if you pit earlier

Of course, you get the fresh tires longer they do wear out and that's something that is important to know

But you can actually catch up with the people that had and that's a really bad metaphor if that's that even a metaphor

the second area we'll talk about is structure and process a

lot of time when I was

Starting out freelancing. I would just do things very

Rigidly, if I'm honest I was trying to be very structured and I may be burnt out about two times

During the last two years

And they were very quiet burn out

If I'm honest I took maybe a week to ease off and I I would just relax a bit more

around them so that I would cool off and could get back in but

I think burnouts to some extent can teach you good things by yourself like where you limits are but then again,

Burning out itself is not good

And it's a topic that actually sort of saw recently and probably wanted to feature in this video because I saw in Charlie Murray's channel

And Jarvis Johnson in the link inscription

But again, it's something dat's sort of feeds into this idea of structure and process

I was keeping a very rigid routine when I was starting out freelance, and I think that's really positive having a routine

But maybe in the last six months. I've adopted a much more flexible routine where I'm respecting my time more I'm respecting

My results more so now previously I would do that whole work and I'll get the results

But they've come at a cost of obviously, you know, like not

Holistically beneficial but now once I'm doing it there's a result of I've got it done in a much more efficient process in a much

More efficient time I'm learning about this now

continually like my

Routine is developing a lot more over the last six months and I see it growing even better and it you know

It'll be to the best of my ability always

but this concept of taking my serious self seriously good structure has been something on my mind and

Finally, I guess the the sort of topic that is to some extent

taking yourself seriously is the feeling that you've taken yourself seriously once you

sort of embrace a guess that you're taking yourself seriously with

Freelancing or on your own projects and you sort of go past this concept of impostor syndrome

You do feel much more confident, but it's blinking hard to get there

I took a fair while when I have these bits, I sort of literally like step out of the room and I'm like

Ah, that's such a shame that I didn't I couldn't work out how to get past that. I've been you know what better recently

I would say um

Sort of boils down to a bit more self confidence, but the concept of impostor syndrome is definitely something to be when you're doing projects

so taking yourself seriously with your feelings your

Structure so what I was talking about with just a routine

And your gear I think it's definitely something

It can be a value of you

anyway, guys

Let me know in the comments what you thought whether this was any of any value

whether you found benefit in this and whether you can apply it to any freelancing or than any of the like

like side projects we've got I'm really hot right now because it's hot and I've shut the windows because the guy is doing

the spray cleaning on the walls and

It's just a very hot here in the UK, so I'm not sweating because this was actually probably that and then the guys

Leave a comment below. Let me know what you think

Hopefully maybe talk about steam like this in the future

Which is maybe definitely affected me or affected somewhat, I know and maybe that can share

Anyone guys

Thank you so much for stopping by make sure to have a great week keep productive and I'll see you guys very very soon

Living in Asia is BETTER **5 reasons** - Duration: 6:09.

In Thailand, you're 7 hours ahead of the U.K., right? So I can wake up at midday here

and I'm still up 3 hours earlier than my friends and family back home

so...

I mean if you're from anywhere in Europe

or even the Middle East

or... anywhere kind of west of the far east, which let's face it, most of the world

you just feel like you're ahead of everyone else

you don't even have to be an early person, I'm not an early person, I like to wake up late

I like to go to bed late, yet I'm still always ahead

I can wake up, like I say, at midday, 11 AM, midday, even 1pm, 2pm

and do some work for a couple of hours and I've already started before anyone else has

now obviously, it's like you have more hours in a day, you still have 24 hours in a day but...

I love the fact that, because you're ahead in time, you get that sense of like...

oh, well you know, you get your Wednesday first, you get your Thursday first

you get your weekend first

and yes, you end your weekend first, but you get there first, you get started

and then you kind of... you always feel like you're a little bit ahead of everyone else and I really like that

being a late person, someone who likes to stay up late

wake up late

I can wake up late, almost without feeling guilty or unproductive which is cool

second thing is the obvious one... the weather,

the weather's better, todays a grey day, probably the grayest day it's been in ages

but it's warm

I've just been for a swim and I've sat here and dried off without a towel and I'm not cold

it's like 30(+)ºC degrees

it's sunny most days

it's gorgeous weather

what's not to like

it's just... it's so much better, I'm someone who likes the heat

I've lived in the Middle East, I've lived in Dubai, I lived in Kuwait... those were pretty hot

but Thailand is just like a good all around balance between the nice hot weather

the clear skies

and yeah...

enjoyable... enjoyable atmosphere

thirdly... quality of life

this is kind of obvious

to people who've... who know south east Asia and have travelled

here you can get so much for your money

and there are two ways that translates, you can either think, okay, I'm spending less

I'm saving more

which obviously is a good thing, or you can just say, well for the same money, I'm getting a nicer apartment

better food, I eat out every meal, I can go to concerts and cinema and...

bowling and entertainment type stuff

and it.. you know, you can just do all of those things

on such a higher level

if I want to see a movie, back in England and it's just come out... to see a film in London is £20 or something

you go out for dinner, and a movie... a theatre (show) it's going to cost you £150

I can only do that once a month, couple of times a month if that

here you just do it all the time, you don't even have to think about it

the quality of life is so much better

you feel like you've been given a pay rise

of double, triple of what you would've earned back in your home country

if you're watching this and you're a doctor or a lawyer

and you're like, I earn a s*** tone of money anyway

then obviously you can do that back home

but for someone young, starting out

then you really really feel that extra quality of life

here, you can get a nice apartment, you get a pool, you get a gym

gym's up there, I've just been to the gym... pool

and I could never afford an apartment in England

with a pool, a nice view, a gym, and security and nice fancy elevators... all that stuff

it's just... wild, it's wild

so quality of life is better

that was number three, number four is food, I like Asian food

and here... yes the food is also cheaper, but it's just nicer, it's healthier

it feels... obviously you've got to be careful what you order, you can of course get unhealthy food too

but the food here is nice, it's... it can be a bit oily and greasy and salty, but they use a lot of fresh vegetables

and you don't get the same preservatives I find

obviously, countries which are developing rapidly (such as) Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam

couple of others like Laos and Cambodia

I've not been to those last two, but they are not... they are all rapidly developing

and there is a lot of fast food, there's a lot of western food coming in

which of course means you can eat healthily if... unhealthily if you want

but if you like spicy food, if you like to eat a lot of rice and a lot of vegetables... fresh veg, stir fried

meat, there is a lot of meat here

which I guess is a downside of you're trying to eat little meat like I do

but the food is good, I really enjoy the food, you can see other videos for videos about food in Thailand

and in other countries

and last but not least, is you learn more

yeah... say you've been born and raised in a country like I have for the same 18, 21, 25 years or your life

and then you go abroad

it's like you're born again

everything is new, it's exciting

you're learning things that you would never normally learn

you meet new people from different cultures who have different realities

there's no such thing as reality, there's my reality, there's your reality

but reality for me is different from reality for you

which is different for reality for an Indian in Dubai

which is different for a Kuwaiti in Kuwait

which is different from an American in California

which is different from an American in Idaho

and everyone's realities are different but being abroad

I guess you could sum it up as being a cliche of it... it opens your mind, it broadens your mind

I can't believe I just said that

I never say things like that normally

my point is, when you're abroad, you do learn things, you experience, things, you get different perspectives

so that when you then are in a different situation

you're looking at it with open eyes, with fresh eyes, and a more informed perspective
