[♪INTRO]

Even if you've never seen The Matrix, you might be familiar with at least one classic scene.

In the movie, a gunman attempts to shoot the main character Neo, only for Neo to suddenly

realize that he can slow down time.

The bullets crawl by, and the protagonist casually bends out of the way and avoids death.

This so-called "bullet time" might be only science fiction, but people do experience

something similar.

It's called time dilation, or a slowing of time during really intense situations.

Everything from car accidents to gun fire to images of scary faces can trigger this

phenomenon, but what's tricker is figuring out what's actually happening in our brains.

So far, researchers aren't totally sure, but they do have a few ideas.

One idea is that time dilation is caused by your brain trying to take in as much information

as possible.

According to some studies, your brain collects bits of information from your senses and uses

them to establish an internal clock.

The more information it processes, the more slowly that clock goes.

For example, professional baseball players -- who are hyper-focused and are taking in

a lot of details when they're up to bat -- often say the ball slows down right before

they hit it.

That's been demonstrated in the lab, too: One 2012 study showed that, when 11 participants

prepped for a specific action, their ability to detect extremely fast visual signals improved.

This idea could also explain why time dilation is so commonly reported in life-threatening

situations, like car accidents.

In these cases, the brain is probably trying to pick up as much info as it can in an effort

to keep someone safe.

After all, that speedy processing could prepare them to make some change -- like throwing

up their hands -- that would keep them alive.

Of course, there haven't been lab studies of this, because if you tried to put your

subjects in life-threatening situations, you'd have an ethics committee kicking down your door.

But there is evidence for the phenomenon in simulations and as a whole.

Still, not all studies agree with this.

For example, a paper published in 2007 in PLOS One says that there's no increase in

brain processing and that the illusion of time is just a twisted memory.

In this experiment, researchers strapped 20 volunteers with perceptual chronometers.

These were devices programmed to flash between an image and its negative so quickly that

it would be unreadable.

That is, unless your visual processing was increased.

The research team then dropped participants into a net from a height of about 30 meters.

The subjects were totally safe, but the drop was perceived as deadly enough to trigger

time dilation.

Sure enough, once they were back on the ground, subjects estimated that the drop took about

35% longer than it actually did.

So, case closed, right?

Well, not really.

Because, even with the seemingly life-threatening stimuli, the participants still weren't

able to read the chronometers.

So it looked like time dilation wasn't actually due to increased brain speed.

Something else had to be going on.

The scientists suggested that maybe our brains are stretching out time after the fact.

In other words, things only feel slower when you remember them.

Right now, though, the debate over what causes time dilation in our brains is still ongoing.

The good news is, more research is starting to look at specific neurotransmitters and

neurological causes that could be behind this phenomenon, but so far, the jury is out.

Now, even though the "bullet time" in The Matrix is science fiction, someone had to make

it look real on screen.

The Untold Truth Of Theresa Caputo - Duration: 5:48.

Since debuting in 2011, Long Island Medium has dominated ratings and made its star, Long

Island native Theresa Caputo, a household name.

Caputo's larger-than-life personality is undoubtedly to thank, as is her reported ability to see,

feel and sense spirits.

But there's a lot you might not actually know about Theresa Caputo.

"There is no turning back!"

Real or just really entertaining?

Tune into an episode of Long Island Medium and you'll likely get the sense that Caputo's

communication with the departed is effortless and very much real.

But according to some, that couldn't be further from the truth.

A widowed mom of three who invited the reality star into her home for a reading revealed

to Radar Online that she met with Caputo's assistant the day before taping and was asked

to talk about her husband and his passing.

The mom added:

"She promised she wouldn't tell Theresa, but she totally could have told her everything."

And despite filming for a whopping six hours, she claims:

"[Caputo] didn't hit on anything surprising, and became very agitated and angry when I

shut her down.

I refused to fake it and cry 'Oh my God, you're right!'"

The grieving widow even added:

"I don't believe her.

I think she's full of crap!

I don't think she really gives a s--- about the people she meets.

It's all for the cameras."

Challenged by Criss Angel

Famed illusionist Criss Angel personally called out Caputo and questioned her authenticity

while promoting his new reality show.

He set out to debunk all kinds of lies, both on the small screen and off it, turning his

sights to a certain celebrity psychic medium.

In October 2013, he tweeted to Theresa Caputo, "Take my 2 million dollar challenge or stop

exploiting the vulnerable.

If you're legit, you're two million richer."

Not surprisingly, Caputo didn't respond or take the challenge, leaving many to question

if she does indeed have something to hide.

"My brain just works differently and you know what?

I'm okay with that!"

Fraud investigation

Caputo landed at the center of a full-fledged investigation in 2014 when professional whistleblower

Ron Tebo set out to prove that Caputo's ability to communicate with the deceased is a total

hoax.

He told Radar Online:

"Theresa is like a vulture preying on the most vulnerable.

I think it's despicable."

After spending a year interviewing Caputo's clients and colleagues, Tebo concluded that

Caputo is simply reading body language and making high-probability guesses not talking

to the dead.

Tebo went on to suggest that Caputo does her homework and tends to focus on members in

the front row.

He speculated:

"[When] you purchase a ticket, you provide your full name, address and phone number to

the vendor.

The vendor can share this information with her staff, and then they can investigate the

individual audience members."

No hometown hero

As skepticism surrounding Caputo's abilities continued to mount in 2014, even her hometown

turned against her.

In a piece titled "My Not-So-Psychic Experience With 'Long Island Medium' Theresa Caputo,"

Jaime Franchi recalled her own experience with the TV star and how she went from being

a believer to a total skeptic.

What changed her mind?

Attending Theresa Caputo Live!

The Experience.

Of the experience, Franchi recalled:

"I wasn't buying it, any of it.

[She was] asking specific questions that, when they weren't met with nods of agreement,

became described as merely symbols of other, more general things."

According to Franchi, the evening was peppered with incidents in which Caputo made claims

that were met with shrugs or silence and quickly tried to turn them around.

Franchi said she feels Caputo is a good performer, adding:

"[...] she's got undeniably likeable sass and charisma.

I just don't think she speaks with the dead.

Or she didn't the night that I saw her."

"That's fine, you don't have to acknowledge it…I don't care.

I don't care if you believe in what I do."

Grandma and Tupac

In addition to speaking with individuals who have passed on, Caputo claimed to also have

the inside scoop on what life after death is really like in her 2017 book, Good Grief:

Heal Your Soul, Honor Your Loved Ones, and Learn to Live Again.

The Long Island medium revealed that she believes the other side is the perfect place to meet

all kinds of celebrities.

The reason she knows this, according to the book, is because, one day, her cell phone

began randomly playing a rap song, which she said was a message...from her late grandmother.

She wrote:

"Maybe she's hanging out with Tupac in heaven!"

Reeling from a split

In December 2017, Caputo and her husband Larry shocked fans, revealing they were calling

it quits after 28 years of marriage.

The couple told People:

"We have decided to legally separate.

We will always love each other and our two wonderful children.

We are united in supporting each other and our family.

Please respect our privacy during this time."

With her marriage crumbling after nearly three decades and her husband moving across the

country from New Jersey to Los Angeles, Caputo confessed to fans during Season 12 of her

show that she was struggling with the realities of her changing relationship.

She tearfully discussed the difficulties of her separation, saying,

"To have someone in your life for over thirty years"

"and then not to have that person" "that's my struggle."

A vision of infidelity

As shocked as fans were with Caputo's 2017 separation from her husband, it turns out

the medium had a premonition about rocky times ahead for the couple, revealed in a 2013 episode

of her show.

"Where have you been?"

"Whatta ya mean where you been?"

You're in big trouble."

"What am I in big trouble about?"

It turns out, Caputo doesn't just communicate with the dead in her dreams.

"I dreamt that Larry was having an affair and I'm like are you freaking kidding me?

Seriously?"

Larry didn't exactly help his case.

"It's funny you mention that…because I had a dream some girl was trying to hit on me.

See, I knew it!"

While there's no official word on why the two actually split four years later, it's

interesting to imagine whether or not Caputo's dream turned out to be accurate...

Life in Kofun Japan (Punishment and Religion) | History of Japan 12 - Duration: 6:39.

The aristocracy during the Kofun Period lived lavish lives.

Thanks to constant contact with the Korean Peninsula, the elites embraced Chinese and

Korean culture.

We know this because they kept stuffing shiny objects from the mainland into their tombs:

iron armor and swords, and all kinds of silver and gold luxury items.

The Kofun Period lasted from 250 AD to 538.

By the beginning of the Kofun, Rome was already past its prime and had started declining.

We were also smack dab in the middle of China's Three Kingdoms Period, when the states of

Wei, Shu, and Wu were having a...civil debate.

At the end of the Kofun, the Western Roman Empire had already fallen, and we were in

the reign of Emperor Justinian the Great of the Eastern Roman Empire.

We were also in China's Northern and Southern Dynasties period.

When studying history, we tend to focus on what the well-off did.

Political games by the elites are fascinating, but it's easy to forget about the common

folk.

So let's put those rich bastards aside and talk about the regular people.

Unlike the elites, the common folk lived simple lives of farming and fishing.

They had massive irrigation projects at the time, resulting in an agricultural explosion

of terroristic proportions.

This was thanks in large part to immigrants who arrived from the Korean Peninsula and

brought over kickass irrigation and farming techniques.

Protecting crop fields was of critical importance and crop field vandals saw swift justice.

Destroying the banks of fields or interfering with people's fields meant a world of hurt

for you.

People had harsh punishments in general, not just for farming-related crimes.

Flogging and banishment were common.

Serious crimes like adultery, arson, and murder meant death for the perpetrator.

One lovely method of execution involved sawing off the head with a stretched bow string,

which was uncomfortable.

Like other primitive societies, to resolve disputes, people during the Kofun Period had...interesting

methods to determine guilt or innocence.

These methods usually involved the accused contemplating the benefits of

dying right frickin NOW.

This type of abuse is called trial by ordeal, or trial by

ow wtf.

For example, when two people had a dispute they couldn't resolve privately, the community

used the boiling rocks system.

They put some rocks in boiling water and had the two people reach into the BOILING WATER

and pick out rocks.

The side that burned the most was the most guilty.

They also had the snake-in-a-pot system, where they had a snake-in-a-pot and the accused

had to reach in and catch the snake hiding within.

If he was bitten, he was guilty, because really, would an innocent person get bitten by a snake?

I don't think so.

These trials by ordeal should really be called "Uh Yeah, You're Guilty" and they seem

ludicrous to us now, but remember that it was a society where everyone believed that

spirits were everywhere and affected the world.

If you were innocent, then surely your kami fam would have protected you, especially if

you prayed to them.

The ancient Japanese practiced slavery.

Enemies captured in war became slaves, although their children could be freed.

People often became indentured servants to pay off a debt.

Young girls, and sometimes boys, were frequently sold into prostitution.

They could gain freedom by paying off their original price, plus some additional amount.

The Yamato rulers began shifting their roles toward more secular and military responsibilities

rather than kami worship.

However, religion and worship remained a major part of people's lives.

Before the Yamato appeared and started unifying Japan, the numerous clans and communities

had their own kami and their own unique beliefs.

The Yamato's influence lifted their ancestral kami, the Sun Goddess Amaterasu, above the

rest and she became the main kami of the land.

This Sun cult spread and eventually everyone agreed that the Sun Goddess was pretty cool

and that she stood above their old kami.

We see the concept of purity really take off in this period.

The Yamato court sent officials to communities to ensure they observed religious taboos,

and to recite prayers to cleanse the communities.

If you remember, in the previous period, the Yayoi sacrificed animals like deer during

worship.

They put a stop to that in the Kofun Period because blood was impure.

Instead, they offered fruits and vegetables.

It was taboo to skin an animal alive or even to skin it butt-first.

You should never start butt first.

The obsession with cleanliness and purity bled into their moral views.

The ancient Japanese didn't have Christian notions of good and evil like those in the West.

Instead, they thought in terms of pure and impure.

Their morality also did not operate on a sense of guilt.

The main driving force was shame.

It was shameful to be impure, so they strove to maintain purity.

Anything pleasant or beautiful was considered pure.

Albinos and people with tumors and warts and deformities were impure.

Interestingly, you know what was considered pure?

Poop.

At first you're like, whaat, but remember that they had an agricultural society.

Things like poop, ash, and plant waste were good because they made fertilizer.

There was even a kami of the bathroom, I'm not even lying, and it was connected to wealth.

People prayed to the bathroom kami for financial success.

Due to the constant wars, clan solidarity was encouraged.

People completely submitted to their clan chieftain and respected bravery in battle.

We see signs of this in Shinto, where people worship weapons like swords and spears, which

are the physical embodiments of kami.

People worshipped in natural places like clearings marked off by fences or trees.

Shinto shrines would later replace these worship places.

We see primitive archways around mound tombs at this time, likely precursors to the torii

archways over entrances to Shinto shrines.

The roles of women and ideas of sexuality in this period were fascinating, but let's

save that discussion for next time.

Hiii!

So I've been asked if I had any book recommendations, and I do!

It's this one.

It's called Premodern Japan, Second Edition, by Mikiso Hane and Louis Perez.

Now I've been using this as a source and it's excellent.

It covers everything from before the Meiji Restoration.

It's clear, concise, and the second edition was published just a couple years ago so it's

updated with all the new information.

If you were to buy one book, I recommend this one.

Link in the description.

If you buy, I get a little commission and it helps the channel.

🛑 No More Fuses or Relays! | ECUMaster PMU [TECH NUGGET] - Duration: 3:29.

- It's safe to say that fuses and relays may be becoming a thing of the past.

Often we see technology from professional level motorsport start to filter down

and become more accessible to us in the hobbyist and semi professional

motorsport market.

One of those technologies is solid state power management units.

These replace relays and fuses and distribute power to all of the devices

in the car that require it.

This allows a lot of flexibility and a lot of control over the way the power

is managed, in particular how it's fused if a device fails.

In this case the ECU Master PMU 16 provides 10 channels that can support

up to 25 amps of current as well as another six channels that can provide

up to 15 amps of current.

Each of these channels can be user configurable in terms of the maximum

current that we want to allow to suit the device being driven.

Another function with a PMU such as this is that we can set the particular

channels to retry if they are tripped for any reason.

This means that the fuse doesn't need to actually mechanically or physically

be replaced.

As well as those output channels, there's also 16 analog inputs to the PMU.

This allows aspects such as temperature sensors to be wired directly to the PMU.

And even in this case, if you're running an engine that's controlled with

a carburettor, you can use the PMU to control aspects such as a thermofan

based on the water temperature input.

A unique function with the PMU 16 is the output channels can also be pulse

width modulated.

This for example allows a fuel pump to be speed controlled.

This can also be achieved using the electric fans as well to control

the actual speed of the fan operation.

The PMU 16 includes an onboard accelerometer and gyro.

And the reason these are included is that parameters can be set to allow the PMU

to automatically shut down all of the electrical circuits on the car if a crash

is detected.

The PMU can communicate with two separate CAN buses and this allows it

to integrate very easily to ECUs, to dashes, as well as to ECU Masters

own range of CAN based switch pads.

This is a really nice way of adding the ability for the driver to easily control

any of the functions or channels in the PMU via a nice keypad that can

be fitted in the dash of the car.

These keypads area available in four, six, and 12 key variants.

In order to adjust the functionality of each of the buttons,

the icon beneath the button can easily be swapped out with a huge range

to cover most of the common functions that these buttons would be used for.

The PMU 16 has a price point of USD$1349.

9 Things You Missed In The Nun - Official Teaser Trailer + Full Conjuring Timeline - Duration: 4:16.

The very beginning of The Nun teaser says MAKE SURE YOU WATCH TO THE END, in big bold

caps, I don't know if that's just for YouTube, but there's nothing at the end

of this teaser.

It just shows the release date.

Then it ends!

So I don't know why it says that.

But anyways, make sure you watch this Things You Missed video all the way to the end.

Another year, another installment in the The Conjuring universe.

This time it focuses on the Nun demon Valak, who has been teased at one point or another

in all four Conjuring films so far.

The opening shot of the teaser shows this painting, it looks a lot like what West Dakota

looks like when he first wakes up in the morning.

But this is actually the painting that Ed Warren paints, based off of his dream in The

Conjuring 2.

That's the movie where the Warrens have their big showdown with Valak, but The Nun

is a prequel, so this is going to be taking place way before the Warrens are even in the

picture.

I'll get back to the overall timeline of events later in this video.

But the reason it shows this painting relates to the voiceover.

Roll it.

"I had a series of visions when I was younger, and after each one ended, the same thought

would be stuck in my head."

"What did you see?"

"I saw a Nun."

Let's pause it there.

So this girl has visions of the Nun, just as Lorraine Warren did in The Conjuring 2,

and Ed Warren did in his dream.

So right away I would make the guess that she's a medium.

Then I saw who was speaking these words.

This is an actress named Taissa Farmiga, the sister of Vera Farmiga, who plays Lorraine

Warren in The Conjuring films.

We may only be three shots into the teaser, but I've already got a theory: I think this

girl is somehow related to Lorraine Warren.

This girl does look to be on the younger side, and with this being a prequel set in 1952

that would make this girl and Lorraine right around the same age.

They probably aren't sisters, seeing as how The Nun takes place in Romania, and Lorraine

was born in Connecticut, but they probably share some common ancestor who passed down

the medium ability to both of them.

If you're wondering how I know what year this place in, I noticed that this shot in

the teaser is the same location as the post-credit sequence from Annabelle: Creation, where this

happens.

So as promised, quick rundown of the timeline, the earliest known event is the creation of

the Annabelle doll in Annabelle: Creation.

Which I guess it why it's called that.

Then in 1943, the car accident from Annabelle: Creation takes place.

The Nun takes place 9 years later in 1952.

Three years after that in 1955 is the rest of Annabelle creation, which leads right into

Annebelle's adoption.

Twelve years later in 1967, Annabelle returns to kill her adoptive parents, beginning the

events of Annabelle.

1971 is The Conjuring.

1976 is The Conjuring 2.

I bring up the timeline because the history of Valak is unique in that it stretches at

least 24 years across three different countries.

It almost makes me wonder if there's something that happens in The Nun, that puts a curse

on the family, and sends Valak to try to kill Ed and Lorraine?

So moving on with the teaser, as this creepy old voice is telling about the abbey's long

history, we're shown this little card.

If you mirror it, it says The Nun at the bottom there, and the eyes and mouth are crossed

out in ink.

The overall shape of this image resembles a stain glass window, so it kind of makes

me think that The Nun deity was once an agent of good before being possessed by the evil

demon Valak.

And that idea kind of fits in with this next shot, a door with the words Finit hic, Deo

burned into it.

That's a Latin phrase translating to "This ends a God", or as the priest puts it and

I had to use the subtitles to understand what he was saying, "God ends here."

So whatever is behind this door has gotta be akin to many of the other haunted locations

in the series.

I wonder if whoever designed this logo was a Nine Inch Nails fan.

But anyway, that's it for this teaser.

I'll be sure to come back with more Things You Missed when we get a full trailer, and

of course when we get the full movie this September.

If you're new here, my name is CZ and I also write and narrate my own horror stories

here on the channel.

Check out this one about the man who finds some disturbing drawings in his daughter's

backpack.

And if you're a fan of any creepy, you're definitely going to want to subscribe to CZsWorld

for new horrors every week, ring that deathbell for notifications, see, he's got the right

idea and I'll see you in the next one.

Incredibles 2 JACK-JACK's 17 Powers RANKED & Explained - Duration: 6:54.

Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, it's Jan here and today I want to talk about everyone's

favourite super-baby, Jack-Jack, and explain and rank his seventeen powers.

If you're new here, I do regular Pixar and superhero videos plus giveaways.

To enter my latest giveaway, make sure you're a subscriber, watch my video and let me know

your top three Jack-Jack powers.

Spoilers ahead for Jack-Jack's scenes, so take care if you haven't seen Incredibles

2 yet and remember you can add this video to your watch-later playlist.

We see this very briefly in Incredibles 2 when Jack-Jack sneezes.

After Mr Incredible discovers Jack-Jack's powers for the first time, we see a brief

lightning effect around the super-powered baby suggesting he can summon electricity.

In fact, it reminds me a bit of Thor's lightning powers in the MCU.

After Syndrome kidnapped Jack-Jack in the first movie, the baby transformed into metal,

dragging the villain down and throwing him off balance.

Jack-Jack's levitation powers are a fun spectacle we've seen in the short Jack-Jack Attack and

Incredibles 2, and it's something he appears to be able to control quite well.

Associated with this power is his ability to reverse gravity selectively.

For example, in the short, while Jack-Jack hangs upside down on the ceiling, he maintains

his position but allows the milk from his bottle to fall onto Kari.

When manifesting his powers, Jack-Jack displays various degrees of super-strength, durability

and resistance.

During the racoon fight, he physically wrestles, kicks, and smacks the creature across the

yard, and he also picks up and throws garden furniture with ease.

In Jack-Jack Attack, he was able to chew his way through a wooden playpen.

There wasn't any sign of wood left over either, suggesting Jack-Jack's body can even cope

with digesting organic matter like wood.

His skin is also pretty damage-resistant because he can withstand fighting with the racoon

and even turning himself on fire.

And that ability to burst into flames is pretty cool and what he touches can catch fire too.

He used this power against Syndrome in the first movie, but it's something that often

seems to be triggered by emotion.

It'd definitely be good to see him learn to harness the ability more and even potentially

throw fireballs.

Another cool power Jack-Jack has in Incredibles 2 is the ability to rocket jump or blast off

and that often seems to be brought on by a sneeze.

Jack-Jack has a sort of elasticity, similar to his mother, where he can stretch his body,

for example, when he's attacked by the raccoon.

And this could well be an important part of his seeming invulnerability.

There's an interesting moment in the Incredibile when, after escaping from the hynoptised Supers

at the house, the Parr children are feeling unsure about how to go forward.

Jack-Jack levitates, rotates and at the same time performs a weird reality distortion effect

that warps and wobbles the space inside the car.

This reminds the kids that they have a secret weapon: their highly super-powered baby brother

and that kick-starts them into action.

Seeing Jack-Jack create multiple copies of himself is pretty awesome.

This is a useful skill against an opponent, and we see this when Jack-Jack attacks the

racoon, and it reminds me somewhat of Agent Smith from The Matrix.

Jack-Jack also self-multiplies at Edna's house and while he's there we also get to see his

power of mimicry.

He can not only make himself look like the feisty fashion designer, but he can also imitate

her physical expressions.

Jack-Jack used his ability to shapeshift into a demon to ferociously good effect against

Syndrome.

As the infant transforms he gets red skin, longer nails and sharper teeth, plus his muscles

expand giving him increased strength and manoeuvrability which he uses to pull out Syndrome's hair

and attack his rocket boots.

The sequel also shows Jack-Jack transforming into a demon on multiple occasions and suggests

this power is often triggered when the toddler gets angry, for example, when he's denied

a cookie.

It's a pretty funny moment in Incredibles 2 when Jack-Jack grows into a giant baby,

bursting out of an air vent where he and his siblings are hiding.

He also then smashes and runs through a series of metal walls in a moment that reminded me

of Juggernaut in X-Men 3.

Of course, with Ant-Man And The Wasp out this year as well, I couldn't help but also think

of Giant-Man.

Jack-Jack's ability to teleport is an incredibly useful one that first manifested in Jack-Jack

Attack.

This is the first power he ever displayed and happened just after Kari put on some classical

music by Mozart.

The Parr family had always assumed Jack-Jack was normal.

But just after Kari puts on some Mozart, Jack-Jack seems to perk up and his eyes dilate and in

the next few seconds his powers kick into action.

It seems it was Mozart that unlocked Jack-Jack's latent superpowers because, as Kari says to

Helen, "I also brought Mozart to play while he sleeps

because leading experts say Mozart makes babies smarter."

Phasing through solid objects like walls and windows is another incredibly useful skill

as it means Jack-Jack isn't really constrained by any physical boundaries.

Kari witnessed this to hilarious effect in Jack-Jack Attack and we also see him use it

in Incredibles 2.

Not only can Jack-Jack teleport between physical locations, but he can also travel to other

dimensions and once there he can still even communicate with our own dimension.

"Cookie!

Cha cha want a cookie?!"

"Nam nam cookie!"

"Cha cha want num num?"

By the way, the other dimension scene is a fantastic easter egg to the classic horror

movie Poltergeist which I talk more about in my easter eggs video.

There's a link for that at the end of this video and in the video description.

We first get a taste of Jack-Jack's telekinetic powers when, during the raccoon scene, he

uses his mind to raise the trash can lid off the floor.

And it's Jack-Jack who ultimately breaks the hypnotic spell cast on Elastigirl when he

telekinetically removes her googles.

Jack-Jack's telekinesis is a new ability that we see for the first time in the sequel and

this power's been wielded by some of the most powerful heroes on screen.

Think Professor X and Jean Grey from the X-Men and Eleven from Stranger Things.

Jack-Jack's seventeen powers are all fantastic, so deciding on my favourite was tough, but

his laser vision and how he uses it in the raccoon scene is pretty amazing.

We did see the laser eyes for the first time in Jack-Jack Attack where Kari used a hand-mirror

to deflect the rays, however, one of the funniest moments in Incredibles 2 has to be when Bob

turns Jack-Jack into a kind of baby laser gun.

Now, what your three favourite Jack-Jack powers?

And what would you like to see him do if there's another sequel?

Let me know what you think and don't forget to subscribe and turn on notifications to

enter my Incredibles giveaway.

Thanks for watching and see ya next time.

Trey Gowdy Shut Down Robert Mueller Over One Criminal Act - Duration: 13:21.

Trey Gowdy Shut Down Robert Mueller Over One Criminal

Act

Special counsel Robert Mueller's witch hunt against Donald Trump is out of control.

But he just made one giant mistake.

And Trey Gowdy shut him down over one criminal act.

CNN reported over the weekend that Mueller was preparing to reveal the first indictment

in his investigation on Monday.

Then, this morning the bombshell dropped that Mueller indicted Paul Manafort and former

Manafort deputy Rick Gates.

They were indicted on 12 counts of money laundering, conspiracy and making false statements relating

to their work as lobbyists for foreign governments between 2006 and 2015.

Fox News reported:

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates have been indicted

by a federal grand jury Monday on 12 counts, according to the special counsel's office.

The special counsel's office told Fox News that the counts include conspiracy against

the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal,

false and misleading Foreign Agent Registration (FARA) statements, false statements and seven

counts of failure to file reports of foreign banks and financial accounts.

There is just one problem with this story.

Grand jury proceedings are secret and to leak that information is a criminal offense.

Congressman Trey Gowdy was furious and went on Fox News to blast Mueller's team for

their possible criminal conduct.

Fox News reported:

"Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy, the leader of the House's top investigative committee,

slammed special counsel Robert Mueller on Sunday for allowing the news media to learn

that he and his legal team now have charges in their Russia investigation.

"In the only conversation I've had with Robert Mueller, I stressed to him the importance

of cutting out the leaks," Gowdy, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government

Reform, told "Fox News Sunday."

"It's kind of ironic that the people charged with investigating the law and the violations

of the law would violate the law."

Mueller and his team have for roughly the past five months been leading a Justice Department

investigation into whether anybody associated with the President Trump's 2016 White House

campaign colluded with Russia to influence the election outcome.

On Friday night, CNN reported that Mueller's team has filed the first charges in the case

with a federal grand jury.

"Make no mistake, disclosing grand jury material is a violation of the law.

Somebody violated their oath of secrecy," Gowdy, a South Carolina lawmaker and former

federal prosecutor, also told Fox News on Sunday."

Nothing in the indictment touches the campaign, the President or Russian collusion.

So it's another dead-end in the fake news investigation into Trump colluding with Russia

in the 2016 election.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments

in

this case.

Vanderpump Rules' Billie Lee: The Personality on LOGO30 | Logo - Duration: 2:28.

- I have the opportunity

to live my life open and proud on TV,

and in the trans community,

especially they throw around the word activist,

and they're like what is an activist?

And just because you're on TV

doesn't mean you're an activist,

and I think personally that it doesn't matter

if you're in a small town

and you're a clerk at a gas station,

if you're open and proud, and you're educating

that community, you're an activist.

If I'm open and proud on TV,

and I'm educating an audience, I'm an activist.

I'm on a show called Vanderpump Rules.

It's about our lives in a restaurant called SUR.

I think it's really important for people

to see trans women employed,

and me hosting at a restaurant on a TV show.

The trans unemployment rate is like three times higher

than the general population,

so I'm just grateful that I have the opportunity.

I have a job, and I think it's important for people

to see trans women and trans people actually working.

And we are hard workers, and we deserve the opportunity.

I remember my first Pride in Los Angeles.

I was actually kinda really nervous to go.

I was like, I've never been, and I don't know.

I'm from small-town Indiana.

I was scared.

And I went, and felt nothing but love,

just pouring from people, and I was crying.

I was so happy and I just felt fully accepted,

and I got very emotional, because it's the one day

that we really can be our true selves and be proud,

and walk together as a community.

And it's such a powerful moment,

so for me it's really important

that we have Pride, and that we keep doing this.

When I was really in the dark time,

and I was like why is this happening to me?

And I was extremely upset and just confused,

and now that I am on a show, and I'm making a difference

for other people, it all makes sense.

It's like I went through that so I can pave the way

for other trans kids, and if someone's out there

and they see my story and they learn something from it,

and they're more open-minded

and more accepting to other trans people,

then I'm doing my job here on planet earth.

Gail Devers' Olympic journey was not without the odd setback | Strangest Moments - Duration: 4:44.

The pressure of the Olympic Games

can do funny things to people.

Athletes who have dominated their event for years

can find themselves being blinded by the bright lights

of the biggest stage in sport.

Being an Olympic champion isn't just about

being a gifted athlete

and a great competitor, it's about holding your nerve.

There are eight women lined up in Barcelona

for the start of 1992's 100 metres hurdles final.

But one of them was attracting a lot more attention

than the others.

Although the reigning Olympic champion

and world record holder

Yordanka Donkova of Bulgaria

was through to the final,

the world was developing an obsession

with the young American named Gail Devers.

It was a fascination

that would last a decade

and feature as many desperate lows as dizzying highs.

In 1992, the 25-year-old from Seattle

was a specialist hurdler,

but had dazzled the Spanish crowds on the first Saturday

of the track-and-field programme.

She raced to gold in the 100 metres, upsetting the form book

to win one of the closest finals

in Olympic Games history.

But for Devers, an Olympic Games 100 metre final

was a just a warm-up for the main event.

In the hurdles, her closest rival,

Russia's Lyudmila Narozhilenko,

pulled a hamstring before the semifinal.

It was looking good for Devers -

she cruised through to the final.

But the path to Olympic gold is never easy

and, in the case of the hurdles,

there are quite literally

a great many obstacles to overcome.

It's a good start.

But look at Devers.

Devers is pulling away now with that great finish.

Devers is moving fast.

Devers has hit the hurdle! She's down!

Patoulidou, it looks like, took the gold medal.

But it's got to be heartbreaking for Gail Devers,

and she doesn't get her Olympic double.

Until that fateful final hurdle,

Devers had run the perfect race.

Statisticians later told her

that she was on course to smash the world record.

The Greek champion Voula Patoulidou

began her celebrations,

but the world wanted to know

what had happened to Devers.

The greatest hurdler in the world

was left diving over the line in despair

at what should have been her finest moment.

Devers said later that it just wasn't meant to be.

Sadly for Devers,

her Olympic hurdles heartbreak had only just begun.

Four years later in Atlanta,

Devers was attracting attention as usual,

and not just because of the talons

on the end of her fingers.

Again, she was favourite for the 100 metre hurdles.

She had won the World Championships in '93 and '95

and was in excellent form.

Again, she won gold in the 100 metres sprint

in the closest ever final - a real nail-biter.

And another gold in the relay.

In her favourite event,

the stage was set for Devers to banish the ghosts of 1992.

She made it to the final without any problems.

Unlike 1992, there was no great drama this time.

Devers simply wasn't fast enough.

She got over all the hurdles but managed only fourth

behind a European top three.

It wasn't her day.

When you're jinxed, you're jinxed.

Fast-forward four years to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Devers was 33 in 2000,

but was the fastest woman that year

and won the world championships yet again in 1999.

But in the semifinals,

she couldn't get to the end of the course.

And Devers running easily here in this semifinal.

And she's just pulled up! Devers has pulled up!

Has that Olympic hurdle curse struck again?

Gail Devers ended her career

in the United States Olympic Games Hall Of Fame

with three gold medals.

But she was left empty-handed in her favourite event,

leaving the rest of us scratching our heads

trying to work out whether one of the strangest

Olympic Games careers

was a huge success or a bitter disappointment.

✅ Alain Delon gravement malade selon Ici Paris - Duration: 1:49.

The Council - Louis & Elizabeth - Right Here with You - Duration: 1:20.

Hello! You're Elizabeth Adams, aren't you?

Yes... I regret that we haven't been properly introduced.

I don't know what that young woman is trying to protect herself from, but...

Let her go!

...she definitely takes it seriously.

Is she aggressive?

Only toward herself.

Miss Adams would sometimes throw a tantrum,

she would destroy anything that came to hand.

She's never hit out at anyone else!

You're no different from the rest of them!

Please, don't leave me alone!

Some people care about you, don't they?

You have nothing to fear here.

I'm with you.

Elizabeth is beyond the reach of traditional medicine.

That looks like a method to control an epileptic fit.

You're not in any danger.

That's not what the voices say.

Elizabeth was a candle in the night.

She was surrounded by darkness, by her demons.

These voices in your head - it's you, in fact.

Don't give up.

You sense it too.

I'm going to die here.

Did you kill Elizabeth Adams?

Elizabeth is dead?!

Miss Adams also went missing.

Tell me you believe me!

I'm here, Elizabeth. And I do believe you.

Thank you, Louis.

M'Hamed Isiakhem is a very famous Algerian artist; he was born

in June 17, 1928.

As he was a little kid , during World War II, he saw the allied forces invading the

country, as Algeria was a French colony at that time.

His curiosity led him to run after one American military truck and jump inside of it to steel

something that he wanted to play with.

He was happy with his new toy and went away balancing it from one hand to another until

suddenly a big explosion blasted his left hand away.

He then realized that he just lost most part of his left hand and the toy was in fact a

little bomb.

That was the shock of his life, which reflected on most of his work.

A signature of a hand and a touch of sorrow, characterize most of his marvels.

That is why his style went more into a tragic abstracted expressionism, which is now the

tendency of many of his followers in the land of unique artists, our mother Algeria.

He died in December 1, 1985 from cancer but his art will live to eternity.

Just before he died he said his famous words:" A country without artists is a dead land;

a society is forever in a vital need for creative

artists".

The meaning of these words are more appreciated if you keep in mind that in Algeria at that

time, artists were not well considered as they do now.

Tom and Jerry | Full Episode #139 | "I'm Just Wild About Jerry" (Fun Accelerated Version) 1965 - Duration: 2:19.

Tom and Jerry is an American animated series of short films.

It centers on a rivalry between its two title characters, Tom and Jerry, and many recurring characters, based around slapstick comedy.

Tom is a grey and white domestic shorthair cat. Jerry is a small, brown, house mouse who always lives in close proximity to Tom.

Although cats typically chase mice to consume them, it is quite rare for Tom to actually try to consume Jerry.

Most of his attempts are just to torment or humiliate Jerry, sometimes in revenge, and sometimes to obtain a reward from a human for catching Jerry.

By the final "fade-out" of each cartoon, Jerry usually emerges triumphant, while Tom is shown as the loser.

Tom and Jerry, American animated cartoon series about a hapless cat's never-ending pursuit of a clever mouse.

The High Elves Dragons - Trailer - A Total War Warhammer Cinematic - Duration: 1:06.

In the Old World

Dragons are creatures of myth and fear.

When fully aroused and ready for war

a Dragon is a sight to behold.

They have great fanged mouths

from which they can breathe scorching gouts of flame

and taloned claws sharp enough to slice through stone.

Even an inmature Dragon has a massive, scaled body

that is powerfully built and strong enough to shatter city gates.

Jeff Lewis Says Surrogate's Lawsuit 'United' Him and Partner Gage Edward: 'We're a Solid Couple' - Duration: 6:57.

The lawsuit against Flipping Out stars Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward filed Tuesday by the surrogate mother of their 1½-year-old daughter Monroe has had one benefit: It's brought the couple of nine years even closer together

"Gage and I, we bicker and we argue about stupid things … But when something like this happens, we are bonded," Lewis, 48, said Friday on his SiriusXM radio show, Jeff Lewis Live — days after telling PEOPLE exclusively about the "devastating" lawsuit

"We are tight, we are united. I feel like our relationship this week has been amazing

I never felt more like a team. We're a solid couple."  "I really thought we would turn on each other with this level of stress," Lewis added

"I'll be honest, we're getting calls from business associates, from product manufacturers — it's hurting my business

And Gage has been doing damage control and I've been doing damage control. And it's very stressful

"  Edward agreed. "I do appreciate that and I have felt that," he told Lewis. "It's nice to hear

I've always felt that the two of us are a nice united team and it's not a team anybody would want to cross

"  Lewis and Edward's surrogate Alexandra Trent filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, claiming that Flipping Out producers filmed her vagina without permission and that Lewis and Edward had personally humiliated her by making "disgusting" comments on the show, according to a complaint obtained by PEOPLE

She is seeking damages for unlawful recording, invasion of privacy and fraud. Bravo, Authentic Entertainment, Lewis and Edward are all named in the suit

Trent was seen on multiple episodes over two seasons of Flipping Out, after Lewis and Edward hired her to carry Monroe

A season 10 episode (filmed on Oct. 25, 2016 and aired Aug. 31, 2017) documented Trent's delivery, with Lewis and Edward — and the Flipping Out cameras — in the hospital room as it happened

The show even captured the first moments of Monroe being placed in Lewis and Edward's arms, for skin-to-skin contact, seconds after her birth

During interview setups filmed afterwards and spliced into the episode, Lewis makes an off-color joke about Trent, saying, "If I was a surrogate, and I had known there was going to be an audience, I probably would have waxed

And that was the shocking part for Gage. I don't think Gage had ever seen a vagina, let alone one that big

"  The comment — and the fact that producers had filmed her delivery allegedly without her consent — "deeply damaged Trent" and "caused incredible anguish, self-loathing, contempt and depression," according to the legal documents

Reacting to the suit on Friday's Jeff Lewis Live, Lewis got emotional.  "I feel like I'm going to cry," he said, his voice getting shaky

"It's the biggest form of betrayal. It's sad and it's upsetting. I'm really trying to focus on the positive things

I'm trying to keep it together."  Lewis admitted that the comment he made was inappropriate

"The only mistake I've made in this entire process was I made this off-colored comment about her female parts," he said

"Once it aired, I thought it was kind of funny. She reached out, said she was embarrassed by that comment and I apologized and sent flowers

I don't think that alone warrants a multi-million dollar lawsuit."  But he denied the fact that Trent was ever filmed without her consent, explaining that she had signed many a non-disclosure and release form, including one built into their surrogacy agreement

Though both Lewis and Edward said they considered Trent to be like family, they were now more upset about what will happen when their daughter uncovers this story in the years to come

"What worries me now and what is upsetting is that our daughter, at any point in time, for the rest of her life, she has this horrible cloud," Lewis said

"People can just Google and they know this entire story."  "That agreement… was really meant to protect not Gage and I, but Monroe," Lewis continued

"What worries me now and what is upsetting is that our daughter, at any point in time, for the rest of her life, she has this horrible cloud

People can just google and they know this entire story."  Added Edward: "I don't know what that does to [Monroe's] psyche later

I was just hoping that was something we as two parents would be able to handle on our own terms

And tell her what we want, not a side that's crafted by a litigator."  All and all, Lewis said he's trying to keep his head and his heart on his family

"'Just when you think everything is falling apart, it's really coming together,' " he said, quoting a phrase he has pinned to his computer

"I'm really trying to focus on the positive."  "I looked at [Monroe] and I said, 'You are the most expensive child in the world,' " Lewis also said, joking

"But then I thought to myself — and we are going through hell, by the way — I would go through this 100 times over again and again and again to have this kid in my life

"  Jeff Lewis Live airs every Friday at 11 a.m. ET on Sirius XM Radio Andy (Channel 102)

✅ Jean-Jacques Goldman aux 30 ans des Enfoirés ? Michaël Youn fait tout pour ! - Duration: 1:54.

Internauci dosłownie zmieszali go z błotem - Duration: 4:53.

Publicysta Krzysztof Feusette wywołał ogromne kontrowersje ostatnim tekstem dla wPolityce

pl. • Fot. YouTube / Portal wPolityce Piotr Burakowski 16 czerwca 2018 Krzysztof Feusette to publicysta "Sieci", który razem z Magdaleną Ogórek prowadzi program "W tyle wizji" TVP Info

in. wpisem o "Czarnym Piątku". "Nie widzę powodu tak wielkiego zainteresowania faktem, że kilkanaście tysięcy zlepków komórek wylazło na ulice – napisał Feusette

Pomijając już niestosowność sformułowania "zlepek komórek", warto dodać, że w samej tylko Warszawie przeciwko zaostrzeniu przepisów aborcyjnych demonstrowało ponad 50 tys

osób. źródło: wPolityce.pl
