hello everybody and my name is Thomas In Action
and this is gonna be a long video
about shampoo for mens hair for mens hair types
and how frequently you should be
washing your hair. If you have really oily hair and
you want to skip through just to that
part of this shampoo for mens hair video, go here. If you want to learn more
about DHT blocking shampoo for mens hair and shampoo for mens hairs for hair
growth, go here. if you have a really flaky
scalp, like I do and you want to know how
I deal with my dandruff, go here. If you have
damaged hair and you want to learn how
you can repair it go here and if
you struggle with frizzy, dry hair,
make sure you go here. okay now we've got
that out of the way let's get on with
this video about shampoo for mens hair for mens hair types. Alrighty and welcome back to
my channel guys it has been a hot minute
since I've filmed a video to be honest
like, I haven't had Kim over to
film a set of videos for probably
about a month and a half which feels
really odd so it kind of feels nice to
be back on camera and I thought I'd kick
off again with shampoo for mens hairs for mens hair types particularly
because I did a video not so long ago
about how to prevent hair loss and in
that video I talked about DHT
blocking shampoo for mens hairs and what they do and
how they work and blah blah blah and I
had a lot of people asking me for
recommendations on types of DHT blocking
shampoo for mens hairs and then it triggered the idea
that I should just cover a whole range
of shampoo for mens hairs for mens hair because we all have
different hair types and I believe it's
just good to know stuff so if you're
keen on watching this, let's go through
it. Alright the first part of this video
I thought we'd talk about frequency
because that is a big question that
people ask a lot is, how often should I
be washing my hair??? there's like a
general consensus that you should be
washing your hair a certain amount of
times per week when really in my opinion
that's all just a bunch of BS. For me
personally when I wash my hair, the way I
judge it is depending on my flakiness. I
always have flaking right but sometimes
it's really really bad and sometimes it's
not so bad and depending on how bad my
flaking is, is how often I'll wash my
hair. On average I'll wash about two to
three times a week particularly because
I just can't cope with the itchy
scratchy feeling and plus dandruff doesn't
look very nice, so it is my biggest
problem when it comes to hair care and
that's why this section here is the
the anti dandruff section and you can see I've
got the most anti dandruff products.
that's just because it's the
one thing that I need to keep under
control the most and on the other side of
things I do have quite dry frizzy hair
so I'll usually need to use a
moisturizing shampoo for mens hair but it all depends on
the state of my head at the time for you
you might have a really oily scalp so
you know those people I know so many
people that wash their hair and then a
day later they're like ah it's frickin
oily how do I cope with it?
I don't know that pain personally
but I definitely know a lot of people
that have that problem and for someone
like that, washing your hair you know
maybe every second day is probably the
best thing for you because that buildup
it doesn't look very nice when your
hair's greasy obviously I'm gonna be
covering different things that you can
do to keep that at bay so you don't have
to wash it so much but yeah for somebody
that has oily hair you probably want to
just make a judgement and when
it gets oily you need to wash it right
in terms of hair growth so when I was
using the watermen shampoo for mens hair the frequency
of this I had to wash my hair I think
three at least three to four times a
week to make this work and there was a
lot of massaging involved with it right
got great results with that in terms of
hair growth but the frequency it was
just different on the goal I was trying
to achieve again like it just comes back
to the goal I guess that's the easy way
of saying it and I with restorative so
if you've got really damaged hair you'll
probably want to up your frequency a
little bit more with a shampoo for mens hair that
restores because that's the goal and
with moisture whenever your hair dries
out you want to be using more moisture
right and it just depends on when that
happens it's all dependent on the goal
that's the short answer
okay so now that we have frequency out
of the way and you know that you have to
kind of make the judgement on how
frequently you wash your hair it's all
dependent on your goal the next step is
to figure out which freakin shampoo for mens hair do I
need for my hair type right totally
understandable and all of these shampoo for mens hairs
that you can see here they're ones that
I've used and most of them have been
sent to me by companies there is no
sponsorships in this video just mind you
and yeah I'm gonna go through each
single one of them and like what they're
for but I'm also gonna leave like a link
in the description box to a blog post
that has all of them listed as well as
like supermarket brands that are kind of
on par with them if you know what I mean
because I understand like not everybody
can afford to buy like a $30 bottle of
shampoo for mens hair so it's important to be able to
provide that solution and I have done a
F load of research before
doing this video just to try and find
better solutions for you guys for the
ones that you know might not have the
pockets for these but yeah without
further ado I think jumping straight
into this would be the best all right so
I thought we'd start in the oily hair
section first particularly because I
know a lot of you guys do have oily hair
and struggle with that but essentially
let's just cover why your hair gets so
oily so quickly usually with people that
get oily hair easily have straight thin
hair and when your hair is thin and
straight the sebum on your scalp has no
problem with traveling down the hair
whereas when you're someone like me who
has really thick frizzy curly hair sebum
it sounds like semen that's the oil
that's the natural oil that goes down to
your hair and keeps it revitalized right
but that oil actually has trouble
reaching my hair which is why my hair
never gets oily I never struggle with
oily hair right so what do I really know
about having oily hair not much but I do
know that people that do have oily hair
should be investing in a dry shampoo for mens hair and
some kind of stripping shampoo for mens hair so what
these to do a stripping shampoo for mens hair is great
for I think hairdressers use it when
they're about to die someone's hair or
they're about to do a treatment they use
it to like really get all of the stuff
out of someone's hair this is great for
somebody that has really hair because
you want to remove all that oil so
that's why these come in handy but then
a dry shampoo for mens hair is something that can
really help you in between washes
because you are experiencing so much oil
in your hair you don't want to be
washing it all the time so you need like
some you know practical solution and
that's what the dry shampoo for mens hair does right
most supermarket brands you'll find that
they come out quite powdery and it
doesn't look very good so you have to
kind of like hold it 10 miles away from
your head to actually make it work so a
dry shampoo for mens hair is your best bet for it in
terms of dry shampoo for mens hairs like brand wise
the only one that I have is this one
from Deborah they've actually just
brought out their brand new revive one I
might hold it up there now going back to
what I just said before I don't get oily
hair so why the hell would I have a dry
shampoo for mens hair but they actually come in handy
after you've done a workout so once
you've worked out you've got all hot and
sweaty and your hair's all greasy and
disgusting instead of the sounds gross
but instead of having a shower I can
just use dry shampoo for mens hair make my hair look
all pretty and then go and do what I
have to do in the spur of the moment if
I have to it's happened to me so
frequently when I'm finished
work out and I've gone shit I've gotta
be somewhere I'll just Shh
quickly dry shampoo for mens hair my hair so it looks
primp and pristine and then off I go so
in this deborah one of the main
ingredient in that is Snow Flower
extract and what that does it has like
anti-inflammatory so it's really good
for your scalp it also helps in plumping
your hair out like giving it more volume
great for somebody that has thin hair
and not only that like they've
formulated especially I can't remember
what the actual detail is about it but
they've formulated it specially so it
doesn't give you that powdery effect and
that's why I really like it but if you
are looking for a dry shampoo for mens hair on the
cheaper side I have done a F ton of
research on all of these shampoo for mens hairs and
looked at reviews and stuff and I've
pulled out like a cheap a medium and an
expensive version of each so you can go
and check it out in the blog but Deborah
is the more expensive one sitting at
about 27 bucks and then we've also got
one called
style edit I think that's the brand and
it's called invisible dry shampoo for mens hair you
can pick that one up for 15 bucks on
Amazon and you've also got Pantene pro-v
which is sitting at 5 bucks to be honest
like it had good reviews but I don't
know if I would even bother buying that
one I'm just saying just playing but I'm
saying who else likes the new Nicki
album yeah so you've got Pantene pro-v
as well and that's like a 5 5 dollar one
so I've left a heap of variations down
there for you and if you have oily hair
make sure you check the blog post out
okay but in my opinion this deborah one
is ace and I think it's time to move on
to the next shampoo for mens hairs alright moving on
to the next set of shampoo for mens hairs I think we
should start in the anti dandruff
section seeing as this is my biggest
range that I have and it's the biggest
problem that I have when it comes to
hair washing now the reason I have so
many different products is because my
dandruff plays up on me it can get
really bad and it can also ease off a
lot so depending on where my dandruff at
will depend on which product they use
and like I said before the frequency so
when my dandruff isn't too bad I'll use
something like behave or davroe these
to a really nice shampoo for mens hair they're just a
good quality shampoo for mens hair with Barbo aloedensis
so Barbo aloedensis is the
long name of aloe vera and as we all
know aloe vera is great for the skin but
also Debra actually contains peppermint
oil in it as well
so they're just really nice and soothing
you've got to leave
on the scout for about two minutes and
you feel this really nice cooling
sensation I freaking love it but yeah
that's when I'll use them when my
dentists not at a high but when my
dandruff is at a high like I'm not even
kidding you I could cause an avalanche
here in Australia with my dandruff it
gets that bad and when it gets to that
stage I'll go for like the ak-47 of anti
dandruff shampoo for mens hair which is like the
Neutrogena tea gel now the main
ingredient in this one is coal tar I
don't know if you guys know much about
ingredients but coal tar is really good
for like renewing skin it like takes
away all the dead skin that's sitting on
the surface really quickly and that's
why you can see such a results so
quickly with this one but this one does
have sulfate in it and I'm pretty sure
it would have a para ban so just be
careful over using it it's not a good
not a good scenario but if you're
looking for a quick way to get rid of
like really bad dandruff I would
strongly recommend something like this I
also recommend something like head and
shoulders to that's in the same boat I
guess is this one head and shoulders
does do a really good job of getting rid
of the dandruff but I find it makes my
hair not feel so nice and to be honest
I'd prefer a nicer feeling here the good
bit for me is I can like actually mix
these two together so I don't get such a
rough outcome but yeah depending on your
dandruff situation and how you cope with
it like yeah I don't know everyone's
different but that's how I cope with
mine and I also on top of that then
Deborah have a anti dandruff lotion that
they have so after I wash my hair I'll
come and spray this on on my scalp it's
actually really really nice and soothing
so yeah that's my whole like anti
dandruff range that is like anti
dandruff conditioners that I have but
this this video is all about shampoo for mens hairs
and yeah that's my two cents on anti
dandruff okay it's a big problem of mine
just just to conclude this section as
well I'll read out the prices and the
other brands that I found on the market
so for anti dandruff we've got Head &
Shoulders I found that on Amazon for
about four bucks really nice and cheap
so that's like the cheapest you can
probably get and it does work I have
used head and shoulders the Neutrogena
tea gel you can pick that up on Amazon
for about 12 bucks and the behaved scalp
will be that'll set you back 23:50 and
the dev'reaux one will
you back 3195 as you can tell like these
two like the premium side of the scale
and then everything else is sort of more
supermarket brand it doesn't matter what
you can afford it what you can't it's
just like can you get the result for
what you want for your hair and if it's
anti dandruff just go for it so the next
type of shampoo for mens hair we're gonna cover is
restorative so if you've got really
damaged hair from like bleaching
coloring or you could even have sun
damage you could even have heat damage a
lot of us like to use our straightness
all the time and your hair can get quite
damaged if you don't look after it this
is something I don't really have to
worry about a lot because I am so strict
with my hair care regime like I'm always
using my leaving conditioners I'm always
putting moisture in it I'm always using
oils it's always healthy and my heat
protectors I'm just so onto it but for
people that aren't you know like you
might have damaged your hair you don't
want to cut it all off so you want like
a restorative solution and yeah you can
do that with your shampoo for mens hairs and
conditioners this one from behave this
is the only restorative shampoo for mens hair that
I've got and have used and I love it
there I don't know the exact ingredients
to make a restorative shampoo for mens hair I can't
like tell you much about the science on
that but what I do know is most
restorative shampoo for mens hairs that you use
there'll be some sort of coating element
to it you can't really you can't
actually revive hair itself you can only
like use products to build upon it so
most restorative products that you see
even like a keratin treatment that I got
not so long ago that's like a it's like
a coating right so it coats the hair to
make it look healthier shinier
which it looks it looks healthier but
the actual hair isn't so the slap on the
wrist is to look after it from the
beginning but like a restorative product
can help you like just make it look a
little bit neater and healthier right so
the restorative one from behaved is the
rescue really really nice shampoo for mens hair leaves
your hair feeling really good I'm
guessing that's the coating element or
whatever but in terms of cheaper ones
that still have good like feedback or a
good reputation in the market the ones
that I found were there was the behave
rescue one which was 27:25 there was the
Garnier hair care which ganya hair care
haul blends repairing shampoo for mens hair that ones
at about $16 47 on Amazon and there's
also a L'Oreal Paris one alive total
and you can pick that one up for $6 97
again I don't know how much like if you
pay $6 97 for a restorative I just don't
know how good it would be but hey try
your luck and they're the ones that I
saw on them like online that had good
reviews yeah check it out really really
good stuff behave of won awards for
their restorative products particularly
because they've got the the keratin
protein that's in their products and
what the keratin does is it bonds to the
hair really well because the hair is
made of keratin so it can like it can
give it like a restructured look to the
hair but in saying that it's not
actually healing the hair its coating
just remember that okay and look after
your hair so you don't have to use
something like this alright we've got
two left we've got moisture and we've
got hair growth and DHT I think I'll
cover moisture first just because DHT is
probably the more interesting one and
you're probably all waiting to get to
that one so I'll just postpone you a
little bit longer so moisturizing
shampoo for mens hairs will be good for anybody that
has like dark skin with really dried
frizzy hair people like me as well I've
got really coarse dry hair a
moisturizing shampoo for mens hair can come in handy
for that the main ingredients that
you'll find in like a moisturizing
shampoo for mens hair will be things like argan oil
and other like wheat proteins and stuff
just to help like a rebuild the hair and
moisturize it because our argan oil is
out right control oils all that kind of
stuff
contributes to that moisture and if you
have really dry hair something like this
is really going to float your boat
unlike the people that have really oily
hair people with dry coarse hair the
problem is because our hair is so curly
in coarse the sebum that makes the
people with oily hairs hair oily doesn't
travel down our hair like it's just like
they're two totally on the opposite ends
like these people need them oil these
people have too much of it so it's like
where did you go wrong God like what the
hell happened in terms of brands for
moisturizing shampoo for mens hairs I've got one from
Deborah I've also got one from behave
behave have their hydrator shampoo for mens hair which
they used to call it Moisture search but
yeah it's a really nice shampoo for mens hair I love
it and this one from Deborah is there
they go they're hydrating shampoo for mens hair as
well two really really good products but
in terms of like on the cheaper end of
the scale Oh g.x hydrating tea tree mint
so that one's a $5 45 on Amazon you can
also find that one in supermarkets it's
really common to see again haven't used
it so I don't know the quality of it but
it's got good reviews it has nice
packaging it looks nice might be worth
checking out we've also got yet the
behave hydrator shampoo for mens hairs so you can pick
a bottle of that up for 2175 and the dab
ro again coming in at the most expensive
at about twenty nine ninety five so yeah
as you can see you can end up spending a
lot of money on hair products they're
crazy aren't they so that's it for
hydrating shampoo for mens hairs yeah if you make sure
you're using one of these along with all
of your oils and leaving conditioners go
for it the reason I don't rely so much
on a hydrating shampoo for mens hair and I can
actually go with these more often is
because I am doing my other Kok regimes
with the leaving conditioner the oil
like I am so on that stuff like you have
no idea okay and now for the shampoo for mens hair
that you've all been waiting for the DHT
and hair growth shampoo for mens hair section so I've
only actually used one DHT and hair
growth shampoo for mens hair before that's the water
man's one for most of you that have been
following my hair growth journey as you
can see is getting so long now I had
great results with this in terms of hair
growth but as an added bonus on top of
this the DHT blocking component lets me
know that I'm doing the best I can to
help prevent hair loss in the future if
you didn't watch my how to prevent hair
loss video I would strongly recommend
you go and watch that because there's so
much cool information about DHT and how
it causes male pattern baldness that
it's just not spoken about right so and
watermen like surprisingly enough this
is actually the cheapest one on the
market and I've used it and I am more
than over the moon with this and I would
recommend anybody go and try this one
out but I did also on that video of hair
loss get asked about different DHT
blocking shampoo for mens hair brands and this this
seems to be quite a lot out there some
looked a little bit dodgy some look more
legit so I kind of like how to look at
all of them and the more legit ones that
I found on top of Waterman 's so those
watermen 's was the first one but
there's also one called hair stem DHT
blocking treatment shampoo for mens hair that one was
coming in around the $24 and 95 cent
mark that's like the mid-range
as well something like this they seem to
be really expensive there's something
that they do to these products that
makes them more high-end or something I
guess it's because of the science that
has to go into creating it but on the
higher end of the scale this would like
blew me out of the water I don't even
think I would ever pay $60 for a bottle
of shampoo for mens hair but this one it's called
Ultra labs hair search it had like five
thousand reviews and I think 95% of them
were sitting at 5 stars so that is
really really difficult to get that kind
of number on your product so there must
be something cool about it but $60.00
for a shampoo for mens hair I just like nearly fell
off my chair you know what I mean um and
then they all claim to have the DHT
blocking component the one ingredient
that that claims to block DHT the most
is the caffeine so I don't know
scientifically either why caffeine so
good at blocking DHT but apparently it
is and yeah that's the common
denominator out of all of the shampoo for mens hairs
watermen I would definitely try it out
it's the cheapest one you can find and
because I've used it I stand behind that
brand I really like them I hope that
covers like everything there will be
more information in the blog post but
for now like that's what I can really
touch on I can only really go from my
experience so guys that brings me to the
end of my shampoo for mens hair video thank you so
much if you got to the end of it I can't
believe this is probably gonna be the
longest video I've had on my channel but
it's also a really important one right
like you need to know what shampoo for mens hair you
need you need to know how frequently to
wash now we know that it's all up to you
and your goals but yeah and I just
thought I could provide some insight on
what I'm not what I know because
obviously having this hair channel I've
used dozens and dozens and dozens of
shampoo for mens hairs so I'd like to think I know a
thing or seven about them and yeah
hopefully you do too if you did find
this video interesting please remember
to give it a thumbs up leave me a
comment in the comment section below
because as you guys know my new rule is
to respond to every single comment in
the first 24 hours otherwise I have to

know if I should say that actually yeah
I'll have to do a nudie run that holds
me accountable thank you so much for
