Liverpool News : Joe Gomez new contract & Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain injury update | LFC - Duration: 3:30.

Liverpool are in talks with Joe Gomez over a new contract that would see him gain a significant

increase in wage.

Liverpool are keen to reward the 21-year old with wages in line with other first team stars,

according to the Mirror.

Gomez still has four years left on his current deal that was signed back in January 2017.

However, the club want to boost the defender up with a brand new deal, with terms expected

to be agreed soon.

The news comes off the back of a great 2017/18 season under Klopp that would've secured

him a World Cup spot had he not got injured last summer.

Despite the lay-off, Gomez was recalled by Gareth Southgate this month after his impressive

form at the heart of Liverpool's defence alongside Virgil van Dijk this season.

The England international has played an integral part in keeping three clean sheets out of

four, conceding just one goal, and helping Liverpool top the Premier League table.

The acquisition of a young Joe Gomez back in 2015 for a measly £3.5 million has paid

off.

Now, he will be rewarded.

LIVERPOOL midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain insists rehabilitation is going well as he

continues his recovery from a long-term knee injury.

The midfielder is set to be sidelined for the whole of this season after damaging every

major ligament in his right knee, including the cruciate, medial and lateral collateral

ligaments in last season's Champions League semi-final against Roma.

Chamberlain, who has since had surgery on the injury, was present for England's Nations

League clash with Spain on Saturday evening and spoke about his progress.

The 25-year-old was expected to be part of Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad, but watched

from home as his team-mates reached the semi-final in Russia.

"It is a very serious injury and it can happen to any of us at any time so that's

obviously something that is never easy to deal with and get over," Chamberlain told

Sky Sports.

"But I'm making progress and I'm trying to stay positive, that's the sort of character

that I am and I'm feeling that is the best way to move things forward so I am in good

spirits and I'm progressing for sure."

The midfielder described the injury as the biggest setback of his career after it forced

him to miss the World Cup.

While he supported the other players, he explained how hard it was to miss out.

"I can't sit here and lie and say it was easy.

It was really difficult," he added.

"Obviously I had a realistic chance to be playing and definitely to be there, so that

was obviously not easy.

"But at the same time I went into England fan mode.

You can't not get excited.

"As the games were going on and I was seeing a lot of my friends out there doing so well,

it was great to see.

"I was so excited for them and I got fully into the spirit.

I was gutted at the end when we got so close."

Today we'll cover integrations

between FIBARO and 3rd party devices and services

First thing we're gonna talk about

is integration with voice assistants

e.g. Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant

There's Lara here with me today

She represents Google Assistant today

You'll probably wondering what it is capable of

first of all you control it by talking to it

you can easily turn on or off your smart lighting using only your voice

or pull down the roller shutter

Voice assistant can update you with informations about various devices

or sensors installed at your smart home

If you own any TV

and if it doesn't connect to FIBARO gateway

then you can take advantage of 3rd party IR adapter

which will connect to FIBARO gateway

this Infrared adapter will allow you to control your TV

via FIBARO's mobile app

and it will work exactly as a normal remote controller

but it'll provide better way to operate the TV

wireless and more intuitive way

It works like this: you send a signal from your phone

It goes to the smart home gateway, then to IR adapter

and finally it is delivered to the TV via Infrared

IR adapters can be used with other home appliances as well

e.g. ACs.which normally are operated with remote

could turn into smart-enabled ACs

and it can be achieved with a small IR adapter

Panasonic devices

presented at IFA 2018 in Berlin

can also be matched with FIBARO smart home system

by using IR adapters

SONY is another company

which offers gear that can be managed via IR adapters

At FIBARO's IFA booth we could witness two live examples of 3rd party integration

of course it is a consumer electronics

This is a Smart TV from Philips, which connects to FIBARO gateway via WiFi

and you can emulate whole remote in the FIBARO mobile app

and then manage various functions

e.g. Ambilight

second example was the Yamaha Soundbar

it was also operable with mobile app

this allows you to remotely control the soundbar

it is really convenient

FIBARO smart home system is integrated with Samsung SmartThings

It works both ways

you can control FIBARO devices with SmartThings app

and also you can manage any Samsung's Home appliance or consumer electronics with FIBARO's app

Honeywell best known for its heating solutions

offers FIBARO compatible devices as well

Although key integration for FIBARO

is Apple HomeKit platform

Consumers can already take advantage of 8 HomeKit products

These are: Single Switch 2, Wall Plug

Door/window sensor, flood sensor

Motion sensor, CO sensor

at IFA 2018 FIBARO launched another HomeKit product

it was the smart Heat Controller

I'd like to emphasise - FIBARO doesn't limit to their products

Polish manufacturer do its best to provide more compatible devices

that using aforementioned IR adapters

you can enable smart management

for devices that are not officialy compatible with FIBARO

or don't offer wireless connection at all

The Finn doesn't appear to have many options coming his way with other teams already making the necessary steps to appoint new drivers, with Lando Norris the latest young driver to join McLaren.

Despite no official confirmation of the 39-year-old's seemingly impending departure from Ferrari, admits the sport will miss him when he does decide to call it a day. "Would I miss Kimi?" said Hamilton. "I think it's always a difficult question to say if you miss someone. I think the sport would naturally miss him, yeah. "I made it no secret that before I even got to Formula One I was always playing. when I was playing the Playstation I was always Kimi in the McLaren, imagining that was me.

"And then I remember the first car at McLaren which was Kimi's set-up and the suspension that he would use, which was. I remember it like it was yesterday. How to make an elegant bow for a diaper cake - Duration: 4:06.

welcome to the tutorial on making an elegant bow for your nappy cakes

hey it's Stacey here from Stacey Janes Nappy Cakes.

If you're new here then make sure you click that subscribe

notifications button so you are notified

each week when new content like this is

available. You're going to need some 16mm

double satin ribbon identical to the

ribbon that you used on the nappy cake

you are decorating. I recommend using 24/6 size staples as they will punch

through the ribbon much easier and you

will need a standard sized stapler.

make sure you have your fabric glue and a little bling to decorate the centre of the bow

step 1 is to lay the ribbon out

on your table and simply fold it back

and forth on itself making sure the top

loops are slightly shorter than the

bottom loops

holding tight pick up the bow and fold

it in the middle to make a crease this

is where you will staple it

now snip off the rest of the ribbon

close to the staple but not too close

that it'll end up fraying

now measure out a small piece of ribbon

to fold around the staple to hide it

leaving a little tail to work with

lay the bow upside down with the front

of the staple face down and pop the

little drop of glue on the back of the

bow fold the cover ribbon over the top

and pop another small drop of glue on

the bow

fold the rest of the ribbon and secure

it with a fold back clip for the glue dries

once the glue has dried snip off the

excess ribbon and decorate with a little

bit of bling in the centre to hide the

staple underneath

now you're ready to attach the bow to

the front of the nappy cake that you

were decorating simply pop a little drop

of glue on the back of the bow using a

peg on the front of the nappy cake to

secure the ribbon

MILK APPLES, a simple and tasty recipe for harvesting for the winter

Today we will prepare the washed apples.

For 5 liters of cold, not boiled water, add 100 g of salt and 400 g of sugar, mix everything well until the salt and sugar are completely dissolved.

This amount of filling is enough for just 3 3-liter cans, as well as a bucket or pot, a volume of 10 liters.

Fill the cans with prepared syrup so that apples are completely covered.

We close the cans with capron lids and leave them in the kitchen for 4-5 days, and then we will send them for storage in a cool place - a cellar or a cellar.

By this time the banks will begin the process of lactic acid fermentation, the pouring becomes slightly unclear, apples will start to be syrupy, the liquid level will decrease,

and before you send them to long-term storage - add water so that they are completely covered.

Within a month and a half, the delicious apples of their own preparation will be ready for serving.

According to this recipe, you can also prepare the soaked apples with gooseberries, cherries, prunes and red bilberries.

This way you can soak plums, pears, cranberries and cranberries.

VeeR VR - 1 Year After - Duration: 9:03.

It's been 1 year.

Indeed, more than a year. It is more than 1 year that I joined this platform, that I am part of this platform,

of this family of creators, of this family of people who love the 360, who love VR.

I've already been part of VeeR VR for 1 year.

And like after 9/10 months of being there, I discovered that "VeeR VR" means "We Are VR". And it's so cool. And I discovered it after 10 months, more or less.

I want to make this video, not to make a review, there is no need to make one.

Maybe I'll do one a bit further, maybe something more elaborated, but I only wanted to introduce you some news,

I wanted to talk about this platform to those who in this moment arrive in the 360° world,

and on my channel, especially, because I'm the only one who talks about the 360 in Italy.

VeeR is the best platform, at the moment, where to upload 360 content. There are a lot of features.

At the time, when I joined, there were a lot less features, you could only upload videos,

it was still under development, the servers did not go very well, there were a lot of problems,

it had a lot of potential and the VeeR team exploited this potential.

And they are exploiting it very well, especially because much more people have started to sign up,

someone thanks to me (luckily, I always love to get new members into the community)

And VeeR is doing its job very well and it is doing it, above all, together with the community.

It is one of the few brands that works together with the community because the group on Facebook is very ...

united ... I can say, it is very functional, especially because the team asks for things to the community, the community responds.

Then they make changes, they make surveys, they do this kind of things to decide what to create,

I am part of many communities, especially about 360 cams, and I can assure you that most of them suck

because most people just try to elevate themselves and offend someone else,

criticize the work of others, instead of helping each other and seeing how to improve together.

Instead, on VeeR this is what happen, because if you find a problem, you explain it on the facebook page,

you put photos or what you need and everyone discusses about it. Both the members of the community and the VeeR team, which is very active on facebook.

And this is a bonus of the very powerful ones because this means that the platform takes care of the own community and it's fantastic.

Also because together with the community they "decide" the things that must be developed to move the platform forward.

VeeR VR's slogan is "Create Beyond Boundaries" and it was chosen together with the community

because they made a survey, the community voted, chose, recommended and

"Create Beyond Boundaries" was chosen as a platform slogan with the community.

And it's fantastic.

And "Create Beyond Boundaries" is what actually is VeeR.

For who struggles to understand English, it would be "create over the limits".

And actually in 360 there are ... I do not say that there are few. There are many limits, but through VeeR,

through this platform you can create beyond the limits because more and more useful functions are being developed

something that could not be done before. But the platform is also developing other functions.

Since I made the video on VeeR last year, the ability to upload photos has been added,

the possibility to take virtual tours, there is the Editor of videos and photos on mobile, you can create videos and share directly with the phone,

you do not need to work with computers or third-party programs because you can make editing on every 360 content

and it's really cool and it's a bonus for this platform because it continues to work, it continues to evolve.

people from ishikawa tweeted this local dish for me to try it

but there is some of them that they don't know it

but i wish that the result is so tasty

i'm not sure if it's a local recipe in ishikawa, but it's a grilled rice with eggs

so, let's see how we make it now

the ingredients...

rice and eggs ...

white soup ...

seaweed, onion and wasabi ...

soy sauce ...

let's start with cutting the green onion

eggs

the white sauce

and we mix

ah, there is piece of shell here

it's just a mix of rice and eggs

this is enough to make it so yummy

Luke Shaw: England defender provides injury update after horror collision against Spain - Duration: 3:02.

England were back at Wembley for the first time since the World Cup to face Spain in the UEFA Nations League

And Manchester United defender Shaw was back involved after an impressive start to the season

But he was involved in a horrendous incident which saw him have to leave the field on a stretcher and neck brace just after half time

He challenged for a header after a long diagonal towards Dani Carvajal, but after heading the ball he connected with the Real Madrid defender and spun round before hitting the turf in a heap

It was a nasty collision and left fans fearing the worst after he suffered a horror leg break earlier in his career

But Shaw, 23, tweeted: "Thank you for all the love and support I am doing fine and am in the best hands

I'm a fighter so I will be back soon!" England tweeted shortly after the match to say he was awake and alert and they will provide another update this morning

Shaw needed attention on the pitch for nearly seven minutes and was given oxygen while being tended to by more than 10 members of staff

It was Shaw's first appearance for England since March 2017 and he provided the cross for Marcus Rashford's opener

He has played every minute of United's opening four Premier League games and impressed despite struggling under Jose Mourinho previously

Fellow pros sent messages of support to Shaw during and after the game. "Hope to see you soon on the pitch, Luke," Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta wrote on Twitter

In the build up to the game he revealed he almost lost his leg in the aftermath of the horror leg break suffered in the Champions League against PSV

"At the time, they were thinking about flying me back," said Shaw. "If I'd flown back, I would probably have lost my leg because of the blood clots in the leg

"No one knows I was really close to losing my leg. I didn't know that until six months later when the doctor told me

"I've got two scars down my leg where they had to cut it open and pull them out, the clots

I feel really strong now and my right leg is as it was before my leg break."

Unfairly overshadowed in the chaos of Williams telling umpire Carlos Ramos, "You will never, ever be on another court of mine as long as you live," and crying as she railed against having been penalized a point and a game, was the poised performance of 20-year-old Naomi Osaka, whose 6-2, 6-4 victory capped an outstanding two weeks and gave her the distinction of being the first Japanese player to win a Grand Slam championship

Buoyed by the crowd, she broke Osaka's serve to take a 3-1 lead but Osaka broke back to cut Williams' lead to 3-2

Williams, 36, smashed her racket, a second code violation and automatic point penalty assessed at the start of the sixth game

She again berated Ramos. "I have never cheated in my life. You owe me an apology," Williams said

"I have a daughter and I stand up for what's right." During the changeover after Osaka broke Williams' serve again to take a 4-3 lead, Ramos assessed a third code violation for verbal abuse and penalized Williams a game

Williams, incensed, unsuccessfully pleaded her case with the tournament referee and Grand Slam supervisor and invoked incidents here in 2004 and 2009 in which she had felt wronged by the officials

"Because I'm a woman you're going to take this away from me?" she said. Ramos did not comment afterward because umpires are not allowed to speak with the media

Tournament officials said in a statement the chair umpire's decision was final and not reviewable

"I've seen other men call umpires several things," Williams said. "I'm here fighting for women's rights and for women's equality and for all kinds of stuff

For me to say, 'Thief,' and for him to take a game, it made me feel like it was a sexist remark

He's never taken a game from a man because they said 'thief.'" It's impossible to know if that's true

Players of both genders curse on the court, usually at themselves. Williams' calling Ramos a thief was a direct challenge to his integrity

He could have turned a deaf ear to her continued abuse before penalizing her the game that gave Osaka a 5-3 lead, but he was within his rights

As a 31-time Grand Slam finalist — 30 more than Osaka — Williams should have been able to control her emotions as calmly as Osaka did

Williams should have done many things as well as Osaka, who had six aces and again proved herself a big-match player by converting four of five break points and ignoring the fuss mushrooming around her

"I felt like she played really well," Williams said. "She made a lot of shots. She was so focused

Whenever I had a break point she came up with some great serve. Honestly, there's a lot I can learn from her from this match

" Intent on living out her childhood dream of beating Williams here, Osaka said she didn't know what Williams was doing or saying

It's a shame Osaka's impressive triumph was accompanied by Williams' sour notes, but Williams remains on the pedestal on which Osaka placed her long ago

"I'm always going to remember the Serena that I love," Osaka said. "It doesn't change anything for me

" Osaka's character and talent shone throughout a grueling tournament. Williams didn't make history Saturday but Osaka did, and that's a happy ending
