What could you understand about me?
Foolish little brother.
I'll really break you apart.
To me you have become
my closest friend...
you must kill him!

Investigating Shadiness | Water & Power: A California Heist - Duration: 2:20.[background noises]

[music playing]
Some people gave a tip to Public Citizen,
a Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization,
about what appeared to be some shady
water deals going on in Central Valley of California.
The first thing I did was I looked
up the Kern Water Bank online.
Google was in its early years--
more or less, 2003.
Well, it turns out it's largely controlled by something
called "Roll International."
And when I called their headquarters
and asked to speak to a public relations person,
they said they didn't have one.
And I said, "Well, to whom should I address
any research questions?"
They said, "We don't give information to the public.
We suggest you don't research us," and hung up.
So I drive down to Bakersfield and then followed
the directions out to the address,
and I'm a little bit confused because the sign outside says
"Paramount Farming Company"--
not "Kern Water Bank Authority."
Walk in the front door and ask a receptionist, "Is--
the Kern Water Bank, do you know where that office is?"
"Oh, yeah.
They're just down the hall," they said.
It's like, "OK."
The Kern Water Bank is this supposedly public entity,
and the members are a number of different water districts--
water agencies, water storage districts, and also
a private company called "Westside
Mutual Water Company, LLC."
And I remember asking, "Who are they?"
"Well, they're landowners."
"Well, what land do they own?"
"Well, they represent their own land."
They didn't want to mention the name "Paramount
Farming," which was notable considering
where we were sitting--
which was inside Paramount's office building.
It seemed as if this is a case of extremely valuable
public property, an essential element of the state
public water system, which had essentially
been given to a very wealthy private company--
but really just one landowner, one corporate farmer.

Who makes the best Eyeliner Sharpener? 9 Brand Test Drive Review - Duration: 8:08.Hey guys & dolls, It's Cora and welcome
to my vanity area! If you'd like to see a
video of me showing you a little tour of
my vanity, let me know in the comment
section down below. today we're going to
be doing a video comparing a bunch of
different sharpeners! I've been on a
quest to find the "sharpest" sharpener!
I say "been on a quest" but actually what it is I
have been dealing with this sharpener
that I hate, and for some reason I'm being
stubborn. It's like I think miracally
one of these days it will start sharpening
sharpening my pencils right and ...
that's just it's not going to happen.
so I recently complained about it and yet
another video, and you guys wear like:
"TRY THIS ONE?" "TRY THIS ONE!" "Try This One"
and I thought, you know what? Why don't I
just get a whole bunch of them and
test them out, and try them
side by side with the exact same pencil
dulled the exact same way so that I can
show you guys which one actually has the
sharpest point and see what I come up
with, and this the results are pretty surprising!
I have nine to share with
you including my original one, right? 1 2 3
4 5 6 7 8 9. Yes. 9 sharpeners.
For this experiment I'm going to be using a
Graftobian pencil. I chose to use this
one because it has a the core of it is
the most like standard type of eyeliner
and so we're going to be overly soft
because sometimes when something 's super
soft that can have some
effect on how the sharpener is able to
sharpen it! Also because the
Graftobian pencils are pretty
inexpensive, and they're really long so
even though I had to waste like half of
it for this video I still have a pretty
decent amount of my liner left.
Just for like experimental sake, at the
end of this video I also used one of my
Urban Decay lip liners because those are
super soft, and i wanted to see how that would do,
and I found one that gives it a
super sharp point- it's amazing!
First one that i'm sharing with you guys today is
my original sharpener, the one that was
sort of the catalyst for this, because I
hate it so much! Honestly, mine is
pretty dirty I'm almost a little embarrassed
to be showing it on the internet but hey
real life right? This one is not what I
would recommend it any way shape or form.
It does not sharpen your pencils very well,
In dulls them, and i don't like it, so
actually: it's going on the garbage.
The next one I have to share with you is
from Ulta Beauty. this is the Ulta brand.
It's a double-sided sharpener, it does
open up all the way so it's easy to
clean, you can get in there. One thing
about the ones that
are closed up though is that while
you're sharpening, you can't actually see
your pencil, so you have no idea and you have to
keep taking it out and checking it.
Overall, not too-terribly impressed with
this. It didn't give me a very sharp
point. Yeah, not into it.
The next one is the Clinique sharpener and this one
I was really excited about! it's only
four dollars, so it's the cheapest one,
it has a cute retro style to it I love the mint green color
it's quite cute! the Clinique
one is an open sharpener meaning that it
doesn't have any enclosure around it
which is quite nice because you can
actually see the pencil but you will
need to sharpen your pencil over a
trash can or something like that.
This one actually got pretty sharp!
It isn't the sharpest that I'll show you
today but it was pretty good! Actually I
would totally recommend this, and it's
super cute definitely a good backup one
to have because it's so small!
This next one is the Urban Decay Grindhouse.
This one is ten dollars, it's double
sided, and it does have the enclosure, and is
quite easy to open, so it's easy to clean.
This one in terms of the sharpness,
I'm not too impressed. It's weird...
I seem to remember this being
sharper. It's not as bad as some of the others:
it's better than the one from Ulta,
it's WAY better than the one that I
originally had from Sephora but it's
still just not getting sharp enough!
The next one up is the Anastasia Beverly
Hills and this one has a nice sleek
design to it. It's double ended,
and it actually has a little extra piece
on the bigger side so you can customize
it to a smaller pencil if need be. This
one impressed me! It's pretty
sharp, easy to clean, pretty impressed
with it! Six bucks, and it's a high-end brand
sharpener so definitely would recommend
that! I can see why it's really popular!
The next one I want to share
with you is from MAC. This is a single
sharpener so it only sharpens one pencil
size. I like that this has the clear
bits because you can see your pencil a
little bit easier, but once the pencil
shavings are going you really can't see
it so you do have to kind of check your
work periodically. After using this again I
remember why I don't like this: it gets
gross easy because it's got a lot of
depth here, so it's a little bit harder
to clean compared to something like the Clinique,
and in terms of sharpness, is pretty similar to the
Clinique... actually a little bit duller in
my opinion then the Clinique.
It's not the worst pencil sharpener I've ever
used, but it's definitely not one I'd be
in a hurry to get again.
The next on is the Prismacolor sharpener! This is
actually a color pencil sharpener
but a lot of people suggested
that I use this and it's kind of a cool
concept: there's two holes here both for
the same size pencil, but they give you
different effects. This works great
for sharpening colored pencils, but this
doesn't work at all for eyeliners!
Total waste of time, it garbled it on one
side it completely dulled it and broke it
off on the other. not impressed. not into it. don't do it
next I'm going to try
out is the NARS sharpener, and this one
I was pretty impressed with! This one
gave me a tip that was more like the
original tip of a pencil, so gives you
a flat edge on top which is
I think why a lot of people like it!
It's like getting a brand new
pencil every time! this is absolutely one
that I would highly recommend!
So it was while I was doing the NARS one that I
realized that all of the ones that I've
shown you previously have this little
bit that comes across where you're
sharpening the pencil and it dulls it! It
sort of gives it a certain point to
which it will not get any sharper, and
this is probably a safety feature come
to think of it! it's probably there so
that you don't overly sharpen your
pencil, but it depends on the brand
because they're all at a different pitch/angle
and so some of them like the original one one I have
from Sephora had a very low pitch to
give you a very dull pencil, whereas this
one from NARS gives you that nice flat,
banged off, almost super sharp brand new
type pencil, so I love the NARS one!
Then I get to the last sharpener that I'm
going to share with you today something
clicked in my brain! This is from
Beautique, you can pick this up at
Sally Beauty Supply. This one has an
all-around plastic casing that
will completely hold the shavings in so
this is great to throw in your makeup
bag because you're not going to get a
bunch of junk coming out. You take
the bottom piece off, and then you
can stick your pencils in and
it's very easy to hold in the hand.
This is a double sided one but instead
of it being on the same side they're on
two different sides and again it has the
customized size thing so you can you
could pull this out if you have a larger
pencil. there's a top plastic piece that
comes off here, and there's another pink
plastic piece, and you're like "what does that
do?" It's a little like seesaw plastic
thing and it changes the pitch of that
stopper! In fact, you can actually move it
completely out of the way and get a very
very sharp pencil... like I probably could
have got it even sharper than what I've
shown you! I initially did it with the
stopper up so that you guys can
see how sharp it gets with the stopper
there, then I folded it down so it wouldn't
be in my way, and holy cats could I get a
sharp edge with that!!! so this is
definitely the one I would highly
recommend, it's available from
Sally Beauty Supply,
It's less than 5 bucks it's just it's perfect! This
is what I want! This is what I've been
wanting: that super super-sharp line!
Because the Graftobian pencil is more
like a standard pencil, it's not
like the waterproof super-soft pencils
that are popular now, I decided to go
ahead and try this out as well with my
Urban Decay 24-7 pencil this is one of
the lip pencils; The eye and lip pencils
have about the same texture. They're
really soft and they can easily get just
completely chewed up by a pencil
sharpener, and lo and behold! I got a
super sharp line with this Beautique
sharpener! This is the one that I would
highly recommend! If you for some reason
can't get this, I would recommend the
NARS one as well because it gives you
that brand new tip every time it's
pretty sharp! it's definitely
Sharp enough! Then the other
ones that I like are the Anastasia
Beverly Hills one, and the Clinique one. The
rest of them don't really do anything
for me. I would definitely go for this
Beautique one which you can get at SBS for less than five bucks, it's kind of
amazing! so that concludes my first Test
Drive video, or whatever we're going to
end up calling this Series let me know if
you can come up with a better name in
the comment section down below or if you
think Test Drive is cool, we'll go ahead
and stick with it. I'll see you guys
in my next video, remember to be Vintage
or Tacky, just be your own kind of
beautiful! see you bye!

RESEARCHER CLAIMS REPTILIAN ALIENS HAVE BEEN ABDUCTING HUMANS AND CREATING HYBRIDS - Duration: 3:36.RESEARCHER CLAIMS REPTILIAN ALIENS HAVE BEEN ABDUCTING HUMANS AND CREATING HYBRIDS.
The researcher Len Kasten has made sensational claims, which he says he has gleaned from
undisclosed for reportedly reputable sources, that an alien race referred to as the Reptilians
have been abducting humans for nefarious purposes.
According to Kasten, this activity has been going on for thousands of years and showed
no sign of abating anytime soon.
RESEARCHER CLAIMS THAT HUMANS ARE BEING CONTROLLED BY A REPTILIAN RACE Kasten claims that human
beings do not originate from the planet Earth but initially evolved in a constellation referred
to as Lyra.
Some time ago, a reptilian race from the Draco system invaded and forced the human beings
to flee to this solar system where humans took up residence on Earth and Mars.
Today, the Martians live in a closed and highly secretive underground society while the reptilians
live among human beings on the planet Earth.
According to Kasten, these reptilian beings abduct thousands of people every year for
experimentation purposes and food.
He says that they prefer the blood of children as it is less polluted than that of adult
humans.
Kasten also claims that members of the reptilian race permanently live on this planet in underground
bunkers.
Despite the fact that they conceal themselves from the human race they manage to wield a
huge amount of influence over society through organizations such as the Illuminati.
Their goal is to completely control the worlds populations to keep human beings subdued.
The primary method by which they ensure the subjugation of humans is by controlling banking
and other economic institutions.
Kasten claims that the last wave of intense reptilian activity was during the Second World
War when the alien beings seized effective control of both the Third Reich and the Imperial
Japanese Government.
However, their plans to utilize the Axis powers to secure complete world domination failed
because of the volatility of key human figures such as Adolf Hitler who improved impossible
for the reptilians to control effectively.
WHY DO THE REPTILIAN ALIENS WANT FULL CONTROL OVER EARTH?
Kasten writes that the reason that the reptilians are so keen to seize complete control of the
planet Earth is that they are afraid of what human beings could do if they were released
from continual subjugation.
Intriguingly, he says that most humans are completely unaware that the race is endowed
with certain powers,' however, he did not explicitly state what these powers might be.
Instead, he tantalizingly claims that these powers will become apparent as more and more
people become aware of what
is happening.

Lessons From Star Trek - Duration: 13:32.Lessons From Star Trek
By consciousreminder
One of the best examples of the fulfillment of human potential can actually be found in
the Star Trek universe created by Gene Roddenberry.
Roddenberry was more than just a TV producer he was a futurist who spoke at NASA, the
Smithsonian Institution, and many universities. His vision began to take root in the original
series but became far more mature in Star Trek: The Next Generation. After Roddenberrys
death in 1991, the other series and movies drifted from his original vision. So my comments
will be focused on the Next Generation series, which originally aired from 1987 to 1994.
In case it isnt already obvious, Im a trekkie. But what I liked most about the
show wasnt the technology or the aliens but rather the vision of humanitys future
that Roddenberry developed. Despite the fictional elements, its actually a compelling model
for thinking about where the pursuit of personal development might take us.
Consider the vision of future human beings that Roddenberry created, particularly the
way his characters behaved and the social structure in which they lived.
Virtue
First, all the main characters (i.e. the Enterprise crew) behave virtuously. They appear to be
guided by an inner moral compass. Theyre brave, honest, honorable, just, and self-sacrificing.
They dont rely on religion for their values, and there doesnt seem to be a pervasive
belief in a higher power. Their values are very humanistic in nature and are an integral
part of their high-trust society. Every character has its moral failings now and then, but they
quickly self-correct.
The three primary virtues are clearly represented in the shows characters: truth (Data),
love (Troi), and courage (Worf). Many of the plots revolve around the interplay of these
virtues. For example, The First Duty and Hero Worship are episodes about
the courage to face the truth. Lessons is an episode about the courage to love. The
Outcast is a blend of conflicts between truth, love, and courage. While some episodes
are mostly designed to entertain, there are many which explore ethical conflicts between
these virtues.
Riker as second in command has all of truth, love, and courage in his character, but theyre
more fully balanced in Picard, who serves as the shows ultimate model of human behavior
the captain that everyone respects and admires. Of all the characters on the show,
Picard is the most consistent example of virtuous behavior.
You also have whole alien races representing these virtues: truth/logic (Vulcans), love/empathy
(Betazoids), courage/honor (Klingons).
These virtues were present in the original series characters as well: truth (Spock),
love/passion (McCoy), and courage (Kirk).
If you think about other fictional worlds you like, youll often find strong characters
representing aspects of truth, love, and courage.
Purpose
Each character is clear about his/her purpose in life. Each one works within the area of
overlap between passion, expertise, need, and purpose. They dont work for money but
rather for personal fulfillment. There is some type of economy referenced in the background,
but its virtually irrelevant because the accumulation of material possessions isnt
highly valued or respected. Social status isnt determined by wealth but rather by
achievement and merit.
Theres an overall purpose of exploration, which all characters help to fulfill. Theyre
constantly working on goals that derive from that purpose, and they often have tight deadlines.
Technology handles all the gruntwork, which gives characters the freedom to pursue their
purpose without worrying so much about meeting their basic needs. People work because they
want to, not because they have to. The characters have the freedom to be lazy and do nothing
in this world if they wanted to, but they choose to contribute.
Todays technology doesnt quite support this level of freedom yet, but Ive been
able to get pretty close in my own life by leveraging technology to create passive income
via internet businesses, so I can devote the bulk of my time to fulfilling my purpose instead
of meeting my basic needs. This was no accident. One of my long-term goals has been to reduce
the importance of money in my life. I think that as technology improves and the level
of skill required drops, this will be easier for others to do as well. I know the need
part of the equation is paramount for many people, but if you can manage to semi-automate
the satisfaction of your needs, it will free up tremendous time for higher level pursuits.
Working at a job just to make money to meet your needs is certainly not the most interesting
thing you can do with your life today.
One question you can ask yourself is this: If you lived in the Star Trek universe, what
would you do with your life? My answer would be that Id do the same thing Im doing
now working to grow and to help others grow only my methods of doing this would
be altered by the environmental and technological conditions. What would you do if money were
irrelevant and all your needs were abundantly met?
Competence
The Star Trek characters are extremely competent, well-educated, and highly skilled. Each has
developed themselves in a variety of areas, but they each have an area of expertise at
which theyre particularly well-suited. Each seems a near perfect fit for their particular
duties. Theyve developed their strengths and worked to minimize their weaknesses.
Characters achieve their social standing primarily based on their level of competence (which
contributes to their rank). Theres no sexism or racism, but nor is there anything like
affirmative action. Merit is what matters most. The cream rises to the top.
The society is structured such that achievement is expected. Stick an overachiever in this
universe (Wesley Crusher), and he receives encouragement and support instead of resistance,
red tape, and bureaucracy.
Self-Discipline
The characters have high self-discipline and are emotionally mature. They own themselves.
Abundant food and entertainment are available via the replicators, but no one overindulges.
You wouldnt see a character on the show having trouble with oversleeping, unless of
course an alien influence is the cause (i.e. Schisms).
The characters are even disciplined in their thoughts to the degree that they can feel
comfortable around telepathic/empathic beings that can read their minds. Their public and
private personas are congruent. They have little to hide.
Maturity
The characters are mature and responsible. They do their jobs without complaint. They
assume 100% responsibility for their lives and dont blame others for their situations.
Theyre passionate about what they do, but its a quiet, mature passion, not an unfocused
juvenile passion.
Hard Work
The characters are productive hard workers. They dont push themselves to the breaking
point, but theyre far from lazy. They use technological resources to get things done
efficiently, but they direct those resources towards hands-on action rather than overintellectualizing
to avoid work.
Mutual Respect
When doing their jobs, the characters interact within a formal structure, but off duty theyre
on a first-name basis. At all times they treat each other with mutual respect. If one character
begins to self-destruct, the others step in to help restore balance and integrity they
look out for each other. Trust and trustworthiness are high. This is basically the opposite of
how the characters in a soap opera would behave.
Principle-Centeredness
The characters place the highest trust in their own individual principles. They respect
the laws and customs of other societies as well as those of their own, but in cases of
conflict, they will violate laws to uphold their own principles, even when serious personal
consequences are likely. They do not follow laws or orders blindly they think for
themselves and do what they believe is best. They will even follow their principles to
the grave if necessary.
Intelligence
Given the circumstances they find themselves in, the characters behavior is usually
reasonable and intelligent. They tend to follow a systematic approach to problem-solving:
gather data, form hypothesis, test hypothesis. They are bold but not stupid. They have both
intellectual and emotional intelligence.
Growth
The characters are highly growth-oriented. They continually work to develop their skills,
they self-educate, and they have many creative interests which they pursue during their leisure
time (art, music, drama, poetry, etc). They attend conferences, maintain personal journals,
and discuss personal challenges with each other to solicit feedback and advice. They
mentor each other.
The value of growth is often shown via interaction with weaker characters. Take a character that
is more like the typical human of today such as Lt. Barclay hes timid, incompetent,
and lazy. So hes given counseling to help bring him up to speed, and as the series progresses,
his character actually begins to mature as he integrates more and more of the social
context. Growth is expected.
Even the android character (Data) aspires to be human, not to be like the typical human
of today but rather to adopt the best qualities of humanity expressed by the other characters.
Self-Awareness
The characters are highly self-aware. Theyre open-minded and often become aware of their
own lack of objectivity in certain circumstances. Theyre aware of their own weaknesses, but
under adverse situations they work from their strengths and do their best. The fish out
of water episodes like Disaster or Remember Me help depict these qualities.
Order
Everyone keeps their quarters neat and orderly. Theres no clutter. Everything is well-organized.
No Marketing
Theres no marketing in the Star Trek universe no sponsors logos emblazoned onto the Enterprise.
People select and use objects and technology because of their genuine usefulness, not because
of clever sales techniques. The characters on the show are too intelligent to succumb
to marketing gimmicks anyway, so todays type of marketing wouldnt likely be effective
with such people anyway.
What About Us?
To me this is a reasonable model of how mature human beings should behave and interact with
each other. Granted this is a fictional universe, but putting aside the fictional elements and
the imagined technology, the human aspects are very real. It may be enormously uncommon
today, but its certainly not impossible for individuals to behave in this manner.
I believe that what holds us back more than anything else is our social conditioning.
Were born into societies that install many values in us, values that most people never
take the time to consciously challenge.
The solution is to raise our awareness and begin acting more consciously. This requires
self-reflection, using our own consciousness to examine what we currently hold in our own
minds. We must force our subconscious beliefs and assumptions to the surface, challenge
them, and consciously decide if we wish to keep them or replace them.
In some ways the Star Trek universe reminds me of the world view Ayn Rand created in her
book Atlas Shrugged. However, her characters were primarily motivated by selfishness, which
Rand considered a virtue in itself. The Star Trek characters seem to be motivated by meaningful
contribution. The most selfish alien race (the Ferengi) are looked down upon by the
main characters, perhaps as a commentary on the way humans largely behave today.
It would be interesting to build a microcosm of this type of universe today if we could
find enough people whove achieved this degree of private victory and challenge them
to turn it into a greater public victory.

Sean Spicer Got ATTACKED Last Night! What He Did Next Was UNTHINKABLE! - Duration: 1:29.Sean Spicer Got ATTACKED Last Night!
What He Did Next Was UNTHINKABLE!
By Danny Gold.
Press Secretary Sean Spicer went to an Apple store last night to get a new charger.
What he got instead was ATTACKED by an insane liberal!
The crazy Socialist, Shree Chauhan, confronted Spicer and started screaming at him, accusing
him of working for Russia and saying Trump is a Fascist.
Psycho Shree didnt stop there, though.
She kept shoving her phone in his face in some desperate social justice warrior
act.
She was even dumb enough to film the ASSAULT!
What is most shocking, though, is how Sean Spicer reacted.
While MOST people would have fought back, he kept his cool, and even mentioned how great
it is that CRAZY people like her have freedom in this country.
You know what that is?
Thats called being a class act even when she CLEARLY didnt deserve it.
She even had the nerve to call Sean Spicer a RACIST for complimenting her right to free
speech.
Luckily he is not hurt, but if this is what he has to put up with, he NEEDS our prayers.

Resident Evil 7 Theory | Will Alyssa Ashcroft Star In The Final RE7 DLC? | Outbreak Reporter Theory - Duration: 3:26.6 Months before Ethan Winters showed up at the Baker's plantation, Alyssa Ashcroft, a
newspaper reporter from Raccoon City was doing some investigatory reporting in the Dulvey
area after 20 people went missing.
You might have recognized the name because this journalist was one of the main playable
characters in the Resident Evil Outbreak series.
So what is this side character doing in Dulvey, Louisiana and could she possibly be connected
to the complicated story of:
RESIDENT EVIL 7
In RE7 when I stumbled upon an Alyssa Ashcroft article about missing people from the local
paper, I thought, cool Easter egg and moved right along.
However, some very cool Crimson Army commenters threw out a very interesting question.
What if the final paid dowloable additional story chapter coming in 2017, features an
inquisitve Alyssa Ashcroft investigating the grounds of the Baker Family farm.
According to Ashcroft's articles, most of the missing people were vagrants, and the
life of a vagrant often entails going missing for stretches of time, no big deal.
However, in June of 2017, something big happened.
Some people went missing yet again.
But this time, they weren't homeless wanderers.
This time they were well known mini-Celebreties, the Sewer Gators.
They most likely had family, friends, fans and a Discord that cared about their whereabouts.
A perfect emotional & mysterious story for a journalist to take on.
A good reporter like Alyssa would have tracked their location to the Baker farm rather easily
due to the haunted rumors, and its reputation with the community and local police.
Her investigation of the situation can easily be seen taking place within the realm of Resident
Evil 7 gameplay right, especially If you add in the fighting and survival experience she
learned surviving the Outbreak.
And with the importance of digital content for newspapers in 2017, she would have certainly
brought a camera to record the whole thing.
The connections she would have found would all point back to the horror she lived out
in Raccoon City.
The perfect story, The perfect reporter for the job and the perfect way to fill in some
of the storyline blanks for the fans.
she woldn't be lucas' mysterious 3rd party would she?
"a mysterious 3rd party"
It may be a slight stretch to bring back a random character for a DLC several years later,
but who knows, maybe she runs into Clancy on the way…ah I see your ears perked up
when I said Clancy.
Keep in mind this all is just speculation.
Right now we have no date or information for the release of this final paid DLC but we've
been told it will come out before the end of 2017.
And when it does, I wouldn't be shocked to see video tape colorbars fade into a title
screen that shows Alyssa Ashcroft's name in the top left corner, as she fights her
way towards uncovering the real story behind the events of:
RESIDENT EVIL 7
Crimson Army.
Do you think Alyssa Ashcroft could make a return here, or will they throw us more Clancy
stories.

Chris Hedges Delivers the Ultimate Trump Takedown - Duration: 1:09:57.I usually don't pay attention to colonial politics but there's very outrageous things

When people come to our territories, we ask them if they're coming with a good heart and

This song I sang coming up the aisle is one of our paddle songs.
It comes from a relative of ours named Rose Green from the Stolo Nation.
So we would get in our canoes and go out and greet who was coming in.
And we went out and greeted every boat no matter where they were coming from.
This land is not just for the English and just for the French.
It's only 150 years old, this thing called Canada.
It's not for anyone to say who can be here and who can't be here.
This is how we coexist.
So many of us I see in this audience we've been here on the front lines fighting for
our environment and this beautiful place, but now you have to fight for the children.
So that's the message my ancestors are giving you today.
Chris Hedges speaks of the best of his prizewinning journalism as amplifying the voices

Microsoft IoT for Smart Buildings - Duration: 2:22.This is Norm
and this is Sonia.
Both buildings are similar,
but one has an advantage that is helping businesses around the world
save time, money, and the environment.
What's the difference?
Sonia is a smart building.
What makes Sonia a smart building?
It's a system that collects and makes sense of thousands of sensors
generating data all over the building.
These sensors collect all kinds of information.
Things like...energy usage, space utilization, and occupant productivity,
providing better insight and control over a broad range of systems that span the entire building.
But it's not the sensors that make a building smart;
it's the ability to process and learn from all the data those sensors provide.
Take a typical day in Sonia's world.
Sonia monitors the entire building-
everything from elevators, to heating and cooling, room usage,
and of course, the coffee machines.
Sonia can see what areas are drawing the most energy throughout the day
and suggest ways to remedy inefficiencies, reducing utility costs.
Sonia also knows which areas of the building are more frequently used,
and can plan and optimize space utilization and maintenance based on work schedules.
Which is great, considering 39% of workers prefer a flexible workspace
and don't necessarily need a desk every day.
Sonia also works with the building's occupants,
providing personalized comfort regardless of location,
custom work space and collaboration environments,
and guidance to your next meeting.
And all of this works together
because of an integrated data system that orchestrates not just the individual systems,
but the building as a whole, improving performance and comfort across the board,
which is good for you, but it's also really good for the planet.
Many buildings like Norm aren't connected yet and don't have these features...
But smart building technology can be implemented in existing structures.
You can even connect multiple buildings and pull everything together into one system
creating new efficiencies across your entire business.
So buildings like Norm can be connected...
just like Sonia.
Say hello to the new Norm!
Discover how Microsoft's IoT technologies are creating smart buildings today.

This is a small waterfall on river Ruaha
which is one of the big rivers running all through this forest until the Kilombero Valley
This is one of the most beautiful places that I have seen so far in this forest
There is a mixture of ferns and big trees, like Tabernamontana
I'm not sure whether you can see over there but the river is quite wide so you can see the sky above
which isn't really usual in this forest which is quite closed canopy
Every place that we reached so far was different,
had different habitats, very very different habitats
and that's very good for the frogs (and toads) that live here
many different species needing different environments so it's a very nice place for my work, let's say

The REAL Reason Why Andre Iguodala Was Fined $10K For His Racial Comments On Warriors Steve Kerr - Duration: 13:28.The Real Reason Why
Andre Iguodala Was Fined $10K For His Racial Comments On
The Golden State Warriors Steve Kerr Watch the VIDEO to get to know more !!!
------------------ The NBA has fined Golden State Warriors forward
Andre Iguodala $10,000 for postgame comments the
league deemed inappropriate, according to Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
Following last Friday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Iguodala
was asked if he knew he'd be sitting out Saturday's game versus the San Antonio Spurs along with
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
"Nope, no clue," Iguodala replied, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.com.
"I do what master say."
The remarks appeared to be a shot at head coach Steve Kerr, though Iguodala
later clarified it was
simply
an inside joke in
the locker room.
According to Haynes, Iguodala also used
the N-word repeatedly in
his
postgame comments.

Megaman 2 Perfect No Damage Walkthrough Bubbleman - Duration: 3:48.Today I'm gunna walk you through a perfect run of Mega Man 2.
Omg my eyes.
Stand in the middle and continue shooting so you can kill a baby or two.
Jump and shoot to finish off the mama.
They jump to a timing so get in sync and let them go over you.
Jump over this gap and run directly up to the frog so baby passes over your head.
Keep moving and stay light in your loafers because these platforms fall pretty quickly.
Shooting the shells off the crab will cause it run faster.
Bubble Man's stage isn't too difficult all things considered just follow my footsteps
a you should be fine.
You can't duck so just fire at the shell and prepare to jump when it charges you.
Focus on taking out the first half dozens shrimps as you inch your way forward.
You need to hit the light on the top of the big fish's head 10 times before it explodes.
Don't retreat too much or else it'll respawn.
This next section looks intimidating but it's fine.
Short hop the first three steps.
Take out any of these jellyfish if they get in your way.
Stutter drop.
Wait for this asshat.
And it's easier to jump from the bottom platform.
Just use common sense, be patient, and don't hold jump longer than you need to.
Jump and center yourself between the spikes.
Kill any shrimp headed your way before dedicating forward.
Focus on taking out the shrimp so they don't overwhelm you.
Jump and hit the antenna when an opportunity presents itself.
If you're not doing a no damage run just aim for the antenna and take a few hits from the
shrimp, they're plenty of health farming opportunities coming up.
Spikes are instant death so stay away from the walls and don't let them push you back.
Damn that took forever.
Close call from the tiny frog there.
The big frogs take ten hits from the mega buster.
This part here is good for farming if you need more health or energy capsules.
Make sure not mini frogs are hiding among all the loot.
Take this next series of jump flat out-- don't stop.
Until you get to this platform, wait for this last crab, and it's onto Bubble Man.
Bubble Man isn't so bad.
Start by jumping over all this crap and land on the other side.
Ideally, you want to get a few hits on him as he floats to the ground.
As soon he lands, shoot and jump over him at the same time, and land on the other side.
When he jumps run underneath and try to jump just high enough so you can get a few hits
on him before he lands.
Rinse and repeat.
As long as you keep him away from the wall you can catch him in a cycle.
If not, you'll have to dodge his bullets and bubbles, just make sure you get him back in
a pattern by running up to him, shoot-jump, and land on the other side.
Now you can continue your spam attacks until he's finished.
Bubble Man is a decent level to start with if it's your first time playing.
Which robot master do you usually start with in Mega Man 2?

Who makes the best Eyeliner Sharpener? 9 Brand Test Drive Review - Duration: 8:08.Hey guys & dolls, It's Cora and welcome
to my vanity area! If you'd like to see a
video of me showing you a little tour of
my vanity, let me know in the comment
section down below. today we're going to
be doing a video comparing a bunch of
different sharpeners! I've been on a
quest to find the "sharpest" sharpener!
I say "been on a quest" but actually what it is I
have been dealing with this sharpener
that I hate, and for some reason I'm being
stubborn. It's like I think miracally
one of these days it will start sharpening
sharpening my pencils right and ...
that's just it's not going to happen.
so I recently complained about it and yet
another video, and you guys wear like:
"TRY THIS ONE?" "TRY THIS ONE!" "Try This One"
and I thought, you know what? Why don't I
just get a whole bunch of them and
test them out, and try them
side by side with the exact same pencil
dulled the exact same way so that I can
show you guys which one actually has the
sharpest point and see what I come up
with, and this the results are pretty surprising!
I have nine to share with
you including my original one, right? 1 2 3
4 5 6 7 8 9. Yes. 9 sharpeners.
For this experiment I'm going to be using a
Graftobian pencil. I chose to use this
one because it has a the core of it is
the most like standard type of eyeliner
and so we're going to be overly soft
because sometimes when something 's super
soft that can have some
effect on how the sharpener is able to
sharpen it! Also because the
Graftobian pencils are pretty
inexpensive, and they're really long so
even though I had to waste like half of
it for this video I still have a pretty
decent amount of my liner left.
Just for like experimental sake, at the
end of this video I also used one of my
Urban Decay lip liners because those are
super soft, and i wanted to see how that would do,
and I found one that gives it a
super sharp point- it's amazing!
First one that i'm sharing with you guys today is
my original sharpener, the one that was
sort of the catalyst for this, because I
hate it so much! Honestly, mine is
pretty dirty I'm almost a little embarrassed
to be showing it on the internet but hey
real life right? This one is not what I
would recommend it any way shape or form.
It does not sharpen your pencils very well,
In dulls them, and i don't like it, so
actually: it's going on the garbage.
The next one I have to share with you is
from Ulta Beauty. this is the Ulta brand.
It's a double-sided sharpener, it does
open up all the way so it's easy to
clean, you can get in there. One thing
about the ones that
are closed up though is that while
you're sharpening, you can't actually see
your pencil, so you have no idea and you have to
keep taking it out and checking it.
Overall, not too-terribly impressed with
this. It didn't give me a very sharp
point. Yeah, not into it.
The next one is the Clinique sharpener and this one
I was really excited about! it's only
four dollars, so it's the cheapest one,
it has a cute retro style to it I love the mint green color
it's quite cute! the Clinique
one is an open sharpener meaning that it
doesn't have any enclosure around it
which is quite nice because you can
actually see the pencil but you will
need to sharpen your pencil over a
trash can or something like that.
This one actually got pretty sharp!
It isn't the sharpest that I'll show you
today but it was pretty good! Actually I
would totally recommend this, and it's
super cute definitely a good backup one
to have because it's so small!
This next one is the Urban Decay Grindhouse.
This one is ten dollars, it's double
sided, and it does have the enclosure, and is
quite easy to open, so it's easy to clean.
This one in terms of the sharpness,
I'm not too impressed. It's weird...
I seem to remember this being
sharper. It's not as bad as some of the others:
it's better than the one from Ulta,
it's WAY better than the one that I
originally had from Sephora but it's
still just not getting sharp enough!
The next one up is the Anastasia Beverly
Hills and this one has a nice sleek
design to it. It's double ended,
and it actually has a little extra piece
on the bigger side so you can customize
it to a smaller pencil if need be. This
one impressed me! It's pretty
sharp, easy to clean, pretty impressed
with it! Six bucks, and it's a high-end brand
sharpener so definitely would recommend
that! I can see why it's really popular!
The next one I want to share
with you is from MAC. This is a single
sharpener so it only sharpens one pencil
size. I like that this has the clear
bits because you can see your pencil a
little bit easier, but once the pencil
shavings are going you really can't see
it so you do have to kind of check your
work periodically. After using this again I
remember why I don't like this: it gets
gross easy because it's got a lot of
depth here, so it's a little bit harder
to clean compared to something like the Clinique,
and in terms of sharpness, is pretty similar to the
Clinique... actually a little bit duller in
my opinion then the Clinique.
It's not the worst pencil sharpener I've ever
used, but it's definitely not one I'd be
in a hurry to get again.
The next on is the Prismacolor sharpener! This is
actually a color pencil sharpener
but a lot of people suggested
that I use this and it's kind of a cool
concept: there's two holes here both for
the same size pencil, but they give you
different effects. This works great
for sharpening colored pencils, but this
doesn't work at all for eyeliners!
Total waste of time, it garbled it on one
side it completely dulled it and broke it
off on the other. not impressed. not into it. don't do it
next I'm going to try
out is the NARS sharpener, and this one
I was pretty impressed with! This one
gave me a tip that was more like the
original tip of a pencil, so gives you
a flat edge on top which is
I think why a lot of people like it!
It's like getting a brand new
pencil every time! this is absolutely one
that I would highly recommend!
So it was while I was doing the NARS one that I
realized that all of the ones that I've
shown you previously have this little
bit that comes across where you're
sharpening the pencil and it dulls it! It
sort of gives it a certain point to
which it will not get any sharper, and
this is probably a safety feature come
to think of it! it's probably there so
that you don't overly sharpen your
pencil, but it depends on the brand
because they're all at a different pitch/angle
and so some of them like the original one one I have
from Sephora had a very low pitch to
give you a very dull pencil, whereas this
one from NARS gives you that nice flat,
banged off, almost super sharp brand new
type pencil, so I love the NARS one!
Then I get to the last sharpener that I'm
going to share with you today something
clicked in my brain! This is from
Beautique, you can pick this up at
Sally Beauty Supply. This one has an
all-around plastic casing that
will completely hold the shavings in so
this is great to throw in your makeup
bag because you're not going to get a
bunch of junk coming out. You take
the bottom piece off, and then you
can stick your pencils in and
it's very easy to hold in the hand.
This is a double sided one but instead
of it being on the same side they're on
two different sides and again it has the
customized size thing so you can you
could pull this out if you have a larger
pencil. there's a top plastic piece that
comes off here, and there's another pink
plastic piece, and you're like "what does that
do?" It's a little like seesaw plastic
thing and it changes the pitch of that
stopper! In fact, you can actually move it
completely out of the way and get a very
very sharp pencil... like I probably could
have got it even sharper than what I've
shown you! I initially did it with the
stopper up so that you guys can
see how sharp it gets with the stopper
there, then I folded it down so it wouldn't
be in my way, and holy cats could I get a
sharp edge with that!!! so this is
definitely the one I would highly
recommend, it's available from
Sally Beauty Supply,
It's less than 5 bucks it's just it's perfect! This
is what I want! This is what I've been
wanting: that super super-sharp line!
Because the Graftobian pencil is more
like a standard pencil, it's not
like the waterproof super-soft pencils
that are popular now, I decided to go
ahead and try this out as well with my
Urban Decay 24-7 pencil this is one of
the lip pencils; The eye and lip pencils
have about the same texture. They're
really soft and they can easily get just
completely chewed up by a pencil
sharpener, and lo and behold! I got a
super sharp line with this Beautique
sharpener! This is the one that I would
highly recommend! If you for some reason
can't get this, I would recommend the
NARS one as well because it gives you
that brand new tip every time it's
pretty sharp! it's definitely
Sharp enough! Then the other
ones that I like are the Anastasia
Beverly Hills one, and the Clinique one. The
rest of them don't really do anything
for me. I would definitely go for this
Beautique one which you can get at SBS for less than five bucks, it's kind of
amazing! so that concludes my first Test
Drive video, or whatever we're going to
end up calling this Series let me know if
you can come up with a better name in
the comment section down below or if you
think Test Drive is cool, we'll go ahead
and stick with it. I'll see you guys
in my next video, remember to be Vintage
or Tacky, just be your own kind of
beautiful! see you bye!
