Scientists have discovered a human-made barrier around Earth
protecting against the natural particle radiation in space.
They believe the bubble was formed
by very low frequency waves, or VLFs.
VLFs have been found to interact with the particles in space, affecting how and where they move.
affecting how and where they move.
VLFs are used for radio communications, including with submarines,
because they can penetrate deep into the ocean.
The waves can also travel far into the environment around Earth.
By understanding more about how VLF transmissions help shape our space environment,
we learn more about this complex region surrounding us.
The more we know, the more situational awareness we have
to protect our satellites from natural radiation in space.

CRISPR and the Future of Human Evolution - Duration: 6:45.
[MUSIC]
Is there something you'd change about yourself?
Not just your hairstyle, but down at the genetic level?
For the first time in human history, the ability to build and select genetic traits is within
reach.
Problem is, no one's played this game before.
[music]
Mutation and selection.
These two principles have molded basically all life on Earth, from pond scum to platypuses.
Evolution's rule book says changes to life's instructions happen more or less at random,
and not because an organism needs something, while selecting which traits are good enough
to be passed on, is decided by… ya know, the universe.
But humans are rewriting these rules in incredible ways, putting us in charge of our evolution.
For starters, we've massively changed our environment so it's much harder to die.
There's almost no chance a predator or another human will kill you today, science can repair
our bodies or make us invincible to enemies we can't see.
And more people die today from having too much to eat than too little.
For thousands of years we've been deciding which plant and animal traits are useful,
which are passed on, and which are not.
Thanks to more and more selection under our control, human life expectancy has doubled
in just a few generations.
But this simply lets us steer evolution.
Once we discovered the molecule that guides these traits, we realized we could hit evolution's
gas pedal.
DNA's information is encoded in long chains of nucleotides, and natural mutations, good
or bad, happen very rarely and in random spots.
In the mid-20th century scientists realized they could speed up mutations using radiation
or chemicals, but the effect was still up to chance.
And contrary to popular belief never, ever, ever leads to superpowers.
Later, in the 1970s, scientists exchanged entire chunks of DNA between species, creating
microbes that manufacture insulin, plants resistant to viruses, even mice with human
genes.
They could control what was being edited, just not where in the genome this new DNA
was inserted.
What scientists needed was a tool so precise it could make a single change in 3 billion
DNA bases, and cheap enough that anyone could use it.
In 2012, they got it: CRISPR.
It sounds like a breakfast cereal, but CRISPR has the power to literally reshape humanity,
combining unnatural selection with non-random mutations.
Evolution could be in our hands.
CRISPR was invented by one of life's simplest organisms.
Just like you and me, bacteria are constantly under attack by viruses.
We can afford to sacrifice a few cells to fight an infection, but a single-celled microbe
doesn't have this luxury.
If a microbe survives an infection, it saves some viral DNA in part of its genome filled
with clustered regularly-interspaced short palindromic repeats.
That's where CRISPR gets its name, it's a bacteria's immune system, a memory of
past infections, to protect it and its offspring in the future.
Those viral mugshots are copied into pieces of RNA, and loaded into a special protein
called Cas9.
If the virus infects again, and CRISPR sees a match, the Cas9 protein cuts up the viral
DNA like a ninja.
Scientists realized that CRISPR could do this in any type of cell, and by reprogramming
the target, CRISPR could cut any genetic sequence down to a single DNA needle in a 3 billion
letter haystack.
Suddenly we have the power to edit genomes like a word processor.
When cells repair cut DNA, they can glue the ends back together, often trimming a letter
or two out and disrupting the genetic code.
Or the cell can use another template to write in new DNA, letting us splice in new genes
with surgical precision.
Genes can be switched on or off.
Infections like HIV cut out.
Our own immune system can even be reprogrammed to hunt down cancer cells.
Thousands of human diseases are caused by mutations in single genes, and each could
be reversed with CRISPR.
Even complex traits like height or heart disease, caused by many genes interacting with the
environment in ways we don't fully understand, might be within reach.
But to repair every cell in a body, human genetic modification has to be done at the
earliest stages of embryonic development, and those changes will be passed on to future
generations.
It makes you wonder: if CRISPR is one day used in embryos to Make People Better, would
we also use it to Make Better People?
Using CRISPR, if parents wanted, say, a blue-eyed baby, could they order the necessary change
in the OCA2 gene?
If they wanted a more muscular baby, could they edit its myostatin gene?
Curing diseases with CRISPR and making designer babies aren't technically that different,
but they're miles apart ethically.
Beyond curing diseases, CRISPR makes us to ask tough questions.
Who decides what is a better baby?
What if only the rich can afford to edit genes?
Should parents even be allowed to determine their baby's genetic future?
Maybe they already do, thanks to birth control and techniques like in vitro fertilization?
Welcome to a new evolutionary balance.
On one side: most of nature, with natural selection and random mutation molding a whole
planet's worth of diverse species.
On the other side is us, a single species with tools that could match or maybe exceed
the speed and power of evolution as we know it.
What's clear is the ability to control nonrandom mutation and unnatural selection in humans,
to control a piece of our evolution, is no longer a question of if we can.
It's a question of if we will.
Stay curious.
If you want to know more about CRISPR and the strange future it might bring, our friend
Vanessa from BrainCraft put out a whole documentary about it called Mutant Menu.
Head over to BrainCraft and watch the whole thing right now.
It's super interesting and digs into a lot of what we talked about today in even more
exciting detail.
This video is part 4 of a special series we're doing about the story of our species: In other
videos, we talked about where we came from, how we're all connected, and how we're
all related.

Joe To Republicans: 'Donald Trump Is Not Worth It' | Morning Joe | MSNBC - Duration: 4:39.
LOT OF PEOPLE, WHAT THE ATMOSPHERE IS LIKE IN THERE?
>> IT IS ABSOLUTE CHAOS ON THE INSIDE.
EVERYBODY IS AFRAID THEY'RE GOING TO BE FIRED.
AS "THE NEW YORK TIMES" REPORTED LAST NIGHT AND AS MY SOURCES
HAVE BEEN TELLING ME, EVEN JARED KUSHNER NOW IS UNDER FIRE FROM
PRESIDENT TRUMP. HE IS STRIKING OUT AND YELLING
AT EVERYBODY, BUT THERE IS -- THERE HAS BEEN A WARNING THAT
EVERY COMPETENT MEMBER OF THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION SHOULD TAKE
FROM THEIR PRESIDENT, AND THAT IS I WILL SEND YOU OUT WHETHER
YOU ARE ROD ROSENSTEIN AND THE DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL AND YOU
HAVE ONE OF THE MOST STELLAR LEGAL REPRESENTATIONS IN
WASHINGTON, D.C., I WILL USE YOU, I WILL THROW YOU OUT, I
WILL CHURN YOU UP, I WILL SPIT YOU OUT, I WILL TARNISH YOUR
REPUTATION ALL TO STEAL 12 HOURS OF AN ALIBI ON CABLE NEWS WHICH
IS ALL THEY GOT OUT OF THAT. THE NEXT MORNING IT WAS OBVIOUS
THAT ALL OF TRUMP'S DEFENDERS WERE ACTUALLY CAUGHT UP IN HIS
LIE, THAT THIS WAS ABOUT THE DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL.
WE HEARD IT A THOUSAND TIMES. WE HEARD IT ON OUR SHOW.
WE HEARD IT FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, FROM RIGHT WING MEDIA
OUTLETS. IT WAS PROVEN TO BE A LIE THE
NEXT MORNING. THEN YOU HAD THE NATIONAL
SECURITY ADVISER, ANOTHER MAN, GENERAL McMASTER, IMPECCABLE
CREDENTIALS, ONE OF THE BEST REPRESENTATIONS IN WASHINGTON,
D.C. WE CELEBRATED WHEN HE WAS
SELECTED AS NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER FOR GOOD REASON, AND
DINA POWELL, HIS ASSISTANT, SOMEONE WE KNOW AND HAVE THE
GREATEST RESPECT FOR AS WELL. GENERAL McMASTER TROTTED OUT TO
SAY SOMETHING ABOUT A STORY THAT LEFT THE IMPRESSION THAT IT WAS
FUNDAMENTALLY UNTRUE. HIS REPUTATION CHEWED UP AND
SPIT OUT, EVERYBODY STILL KNOWS HE'S A GREAT MAN AND A GREAT
GENERAL, BUT HE'S BEEN SULLIED BY DONALD TRUMP.
WHY? BECAUSE DONALD TRUMP WANTED TO
STEAL 12 HOURS OF CABLE NEWS. HE WANTED AN ALIBI FOR 12 HOURS.
THE TRUTH CAME OUT. AND THEN LAST NIGHT MICHAEL
SCHMIDT PUTS OUT THIS STORY ALONG WITH "THE NEW YORK TIMES,"
A BOMBSHELL STORY. MY GOD, MIKA, I CAN'T BELIEVE
THE SAME CYCLE STARTED AGAIN, ATTACKING MICHAEL SCHMIDT,
ATTACKING HIS SOURCES, CLAIMING THE STORY WASN'T TRUE, CLAIMING
THAT THEY WERE MAKING IT UP. THEY HADN'T EVEN SEEN THE MEMO.
IT WAS SOON CONFIRMED BY TWO, THREE, FOUR OTHER NEWS SOURCES.
SO MIKA, THE MESSAGE THAT I WOULD POLITELY LIKE TO SEND, NOT
ONLY TO PEOPLE THAT WORK INSIDE THE TRUMP WHITE HOUSE BUT ALSO
TO CONSERVATIVE MEDIA OUTLETS THAT CONTINUE TO DEFEND HIM,
I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 25 YEARS.
I HAVE SEEN DAY TRADING POLITICIANS THAT WOULD TAKE
ANYBODY, THROW THEM OUT AND SPIT
THEM OUT. LET'S BE BIPARTISAN HERE.
BILL CLINTON DID THE SAME EXACT THING TO WOMEN IN HIS CABINET
DURING THE 1990s DURING HIS SCANDALS, AND HUMILIATED THEM,
HAD THEM GO OUT, AS MAUREEN DOWD WROTE IN A BLISTERING OP ED THIS
PAST YEAR, AND HE HID BEHIND THESE WOMEN WHOSE
REPRESENTATIONS WERE SULLIED BY LYING AND DEFENDING BILL
CLINTON. READ ABOUT IT IN MAUREEN DOWD'S
COLUMN. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.
DONALD TRUMP IS NOT WORTH IT. HE WILL USE YOU AND SPIT YOU UP,
HE WILL THROW YOU OUT. LOOK AT THE LAST 72 HOURS.
DON'T GO BEYOND LAST WEEK. JUST LOOK WHAT'S HAPPENED THIS
WEEK TO THE DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL, THE NATIONAL SECURITY
ADVISER AND A LOT OF CONSERVATIVESTIVES THAT ARE TRYO
BE GOOD FOOT SOLDIERS FOR THIS LIFELONG DEMOCRAT WHO DISCOVERED
BIRTHERISM IN 2011 AND BECAME A REPUBLICAN.
IT'S NOT WORTH IT. HE'S GOING TO LEAVE TOWN AT SOME
POINT AND YOU ARE GOING TO BE STUCK WITH THE REPUTATION THAT
YOU CAN EITHER DESTROY OVER THE

12 Foods That Fight Osteoporosis and Promote Strong Bones - Duration: 5:55.
Our bones don't get the credit they deserve.
Yes, they allow us to move, and they protect internal organs.
But we mainly focus on bones when they are bruised or broken.
But imagine how we would look without them!
Perhaps we need to nourish our bones now, while they are still in working order.
This could potentially even prevent osteoporosis.
In today's video we'll focus on 12 ways to maintain a diet rich in Vitamin D and calcium.
1.
Coconut Oil
Women who have been diagnosed with estrogen deficiency should consider adding virgin coconut
oil to their diet.
It may reverse and even stop the loss of bone density.
Try consuming 3 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil daily.
2.
Apples
Another way to combat osteoporosis is by eating apples, which abound with antioxidants.
The polyphenols and flavonoids work in concert to increase bone density by allowing the body
to retain calcium.
And be sure to include the skin when eating them.
3.
Sesame Seeds
These tiny tasty morsels are high in calcium.
Sesame seeds are also a great source of magnesium, manganese and vitamins K and D. You can snack
on a handful of roasted seeds anytime of the day.
4.
Almond Milk
Calcium is also plentiful in almond milk.
Other essential minerals are contained in almond milk as well, including flavonoids
which defend against osteoporosis by eliminating free radicals.
Drinking almond milk is an excellent way to add magnesium, manganese and potassium to
your diet.
Here's a recipe you may want to try daily:
1- Soak 1 cup of almonds overnight in a container of water;
2- Remove the peels and place in a blender; 3- Add 2 cups of water;
4- Blend until it liquefies; 5- Add a dash of cinnamon and/or honey (optional);
6- Strain and drink;
5.
Prunes
One way to help prevent fractures and maintain adequate bone density is to consume prunes
daily.
Since they are loaded with a high concentration of polyphenols, those antioxidants will help
prevent bone loss.
Prunes also contain other minerals that are essential in bone formation.
The suggested daily requirement is 2 or 3, but consumption can gradually increase to
6-10 per day.
6.
Pineapple
This tropical fruit contains manganese, which is vital in preventing osteoporosis.
Eating 1 cup of fresh pineapple daily will provide you with about 75% of the required
daily dosage.
Or you can drink 1 cup of pineapple juice.
7.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Salmon lovers don't need to be encouraged to add it to their diets.
It's highly compacted with omega-3 fatty acids, which can keep our bones strong and
healthy.
If you haven't acquired a taste for salmon, there are other ways to consume it.
Simply stock up on walnuts, hemp or chia seeds.
8.
Dark, Leafy Green Vegetables
No wonder kale is making a splash at salad bars; it possesses too many essential vitamins
to list!
In fact, one cup of kale contains 684% of your vitamin K required daily allowance.
While kale is king of vitamins, other dark green leafy vegetables are also good sources
of vitamin K, including spinach and turnip greens.
9.
Coriander
The chemical compounds in coriander are loaded with bone promoting properties.
Some of the minerals are calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron.
Try making this quick and easy beverage:
- Stir 2 teaspoons of coriander seeds in 1 cup of hot water;
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes; - Strain.
Add honey if desired; - Drink twice a day;
10.
Cabbage
Like kale, cabbage is also a good provider of vitamin K – as well as vitamins C and
B6.
This vegetable has a high calcium content, also.
Vitamin C has the distinct ability to aid in calcium absorption.
That's a ton of benefit in one green vegetable.
You can enjoy it raw, or consume it via sauerkraut.
11.
Green Peas
The nutrients found in green peas – vitamins K and B6 – collaborate to protect and strengthen
bones.
When buying peas, be sure to select fresh peas for maximum value.
12.
Green Tea
It's no surprise to find green tea on this list; it contains properties that promote
bone health.
Just be sure you avoid sugar; try a bit of honey, instead.
Drinking 1 or 2 cups of green tea daily is an excellent way to load up on antioxidants.

Human Activity Impacted Space Weather - Duration: 1:16.
It's no surprise that humans influence the surface of our planet,
but our reach can go farther than that. Humans affect space, too.
We know storms from the sun can change the space environment
around Earth, which can have an impact on satellites and power grids.
Scientists now know that Cold War era tests in the 1950s caused similar effects.
Particles around Earth
are organized into layers known as radiation belts.
The tests created temporary extra radiation closer to Earth.
Other effects could be seen all around the world. Aurora appeared at the equator
instead of the poles, utility grids in Hawaii were strained,
and in some cases, satellites above test sites were affected.
Using Cold War history to learn more about the physics of our complex
space environment helps us better protect our satellites and astronauts in space.

How To Prove Obstruction Of Justice With Two Versions Of One Story | Morning Joe | MSNBC - Duration: 1:58.
AND PRESIDENT TRUMP CONSTITUTES OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE.
HAROLD LAID OUT THE CASE BASICALLY THAT THERE HAS TO BE
SOME INTENT THERE. HOW DO YOU PROVE INTENT IN A
ROOM WHERE THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF THE SAME STORY AND
ONE GUY SAYS -- THE PRESIDENT SAYS I HOPE YOU CAN LET THIS GO
AND THE WHITE HOUSE COMES OUT MOMENTS LATER AND SAYS WE NEVER
SAID THAT, WE BASICALLY SAID GENERAL FLYNN IS A GOOD GUY, BUT
WE NEVER INSTRUCTED HIM TO END ANY INVESTIGATION?
HOW WOULD YOU PROVE OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE?
>> TWO THINGS. ONE, YOU'D LOOK AT THE
CREDIBILITY OF EACH OF THE PEOPLE IN THE ROOM TELLING THEIR
VERSION OF THE EVENTS. I THINK IT'S NOT A CLOSE CALL,
THE CREDIBILITY JIM COMEY HAS VERSUS DONALD TRUMP'S
CREDIBILITY. THE SECOND THING, LOOK AT ALL
THE CIRCUMSTANCES. WHY DID THE PRESIDENT ASK THE
VICE PRESIDENT AND ATTORNEY GENERAL TO LEAVE THE ROOM IF HE
WAS PROUD OF WHAT HE WAS ABOUT TO SAY, THOUGHT IT WAS
APPROPRIATE, SATE, SEEMS HE WOUE BEEN HAPPY TO SAY IT IN FRONT OF

HE DID AFTERWARDS. THE PRESIDENT ASKED JIM COMEY TO
DROP THIS INVESTIGATION. JIM COMEY NOT ONLY DOESN'T DROP
IT, HE EXPANDS IT. THE DEPARTMENT SENDS NEW
SUBPOENAS TO FLYNN ASSOCIATES LATER.
THEN WHAT HAPPENS? THE PRESIDENT FIRES COMEY.
I THINK YOU'D CONNECT ALL OF THAT AND SAY TRIED TO STOP THE
INVESTIGATION, WHEN IT WAS CLEAR HE COULDN'T STOP IT, HE FIRED
THE GUY LEADING IT. THAT LOOKS A LOT MORE -- LOOKS
LIKE A PRETTY CONVINCING CASE. >> LOOK THAT WAY TO YOU, JEREMY?

Right there. T.O.P has it (He leased the cutting board)
I'll give it to you soon I'll just finish this
We'll go wash the lettuce (The fellowship of the lettuce)
It's been 7 or 8 years since I've washed vegetables, since the "Family Outing"
You did this for years on the show (Respect for DAESUNG)
Not years. A year and a half (Modesty)
- Every week... - I can tell you now
It's better to go wash vegetables than to do chores there
- It's harder to work there? - Yes, it is
That's why you picked the lettuce
Yes, this is the easiest part You can get some rest, too

- Is this a cooking lesson? - Yes
You know I like cooking
How do I turn this on?
(Come on, fire expert!)
You have to press this
(Success)
Good
(He's still doing this...)
(Stitch by stitch)
There are three sausages for the Kimchi stew (Meticulous T.O.P prepared sausages separately)
- I want basic ones - Leave them. I'll do it
- You're not ready, are you? - I am
- I need grill tongs - There's only one
- Slice some other things - I don't like slicing
This is for the barbecue (T.O.P has lost interest in slicing and cutting)
It doesn't matter. Barbecue first
No, sausages first? (Just put them on)
I think the fire is going to flare up (The fire is as strong as a campfire)
My hands will get cooked
(No, that's perfect)
(Burning sausages)
Pork belly! (The next player, pork belly)
Right now?
No one wants cold sausages (Pepper on sausages first)
Where is the meat? (Okay, meat first)
Pork neck? Which one first? (Pork neck or belly?)
- Neck - Neck?
The fire is too hot to grill sausages (Rescues sausages from fire)
(In the fire) Then take the wood out
How do I take them out?
It's in there (Tell me how to take them out...)
(Fire on!)
Let's grill the pork belly here on the fire (The right meat for the fire)
What do you want me to do? (Explodes)
- Pork belly, pork belly - Remove the wood, grill the pork belly
What do you want? (I want to be alone)
- What's that? Neck? - Neck
(Meanwhile, these men are washing vegetables peacefully)
Is perilla leaf supposed to be folded?
That's because it's too wet (Beginner)
Put a little water here (Soggy leaves)
Here's the tip. Don't wash them one by one (Today Only! DAESUNG's know-how lesson)
Just a little water like a shower
You don't need to wash them one by one
Look at my leaves. They are fresh (Fresh)
Superb. Look at them (Brother, can you see this?)
Yours are dead
A tight shot of my hands?
Why on your hands(?)
It's good to learn (A 10-year career, I decide how the camera walks)
- This is the camera that follows me - It doesn't matter
Hello, you have to focus on me
Hey, it's 2016. Just stand there and let them film you
We don't have our own camera man (That's so old fashioned!)
You are my following camera. Don't focus on his hands
It's okay
Wash them all? Yes, let's do it
(Finish after arguing?)
No, no (All? Half? That's the question)
We have to wash them (Confused)
Wash? No?
- Let's just wash them - What's important?
What matters?
- What matters? - What matters
Washing matters
You don't know what matters (Immersed)
Wash them! Wash them all (Wash the leaves)
What matters?
One close up shot (Close up shot please. Know-how for V.I.P.s)
It's worth learning. V.I.P.s will learn this
Water flows from top to bottom
(How to wash vegetables 1. Water flows from top to bottom)
Focus (Flutter)
Water on the leaves (2. Quick and precise)
Too much water makes them droop (3. Remove water to prevent droop)
See?
Look how fresh they are (V.I.P., it's easy)
I don't feel like going back (Hands full of vegetables)
Fire! Are you okay?
The tongs are too short (Whining)
Look at the fire (The fire show is still going)
I don't know if he's grilling or burning the meat (Spectators around the fire)
Look, it's being grilled tastily

Delicious
It's good as it is (My turn)
(Hot, so hot)
(Night falls at camp)
Talk time for the 10th anniversary!
(What?)
(Irrelevant)
Talk time, now?
Let's have a talk for three minutes while we eat
This must be your idea
No, not at all
There's nothing good for us (No doubt SEUNGRI planned this session)
- We can do this while we eat - While eating (Approval, please)
Do it. That's what you want to do
- Talk time, start! - Start!
It's easy. Hey, T.O.P, fill my glass (T.O.P My glass is empty)
Hey, hand me the chopsticks (Here they are)

During the talk time we are all friends
We are all friends (Friends of the same age)
It's good that all 5 of us are eating dinner outside after a long time
Very nice
It's been a long time
DAESUNG was quite worried about today (Delicious. Five guys excited to be camping)

We were quite skeptical about whether this camping was going to be fun
but it's more exciting than we thought

It's the first time we have gone out to eat
since our trainee years (The first outdoor meat party since their debut?)
When did we eat meat outdoors? (Can't remember)
Sean used to grill meat for us on the rooftop of the building
Do you often cook at home? (Does BIGBANG enjoy cooking at home?)
I do, because I usually stay at home (Home-lover, TAEYANG)
- What about you, DAESUNG? - I thought talk time was over
Three minutes? Already? (Sadly it's over)
You just want to keep doing this, don't you?
- No - Do it until we finish the meal
- Until we finish the meal - Until we finish the meal
Are you sure? (Tempted)
I'll handle this myself. Mind your business (Nod)
Otherwise the director is going to cut this part out. It's too short
(How do I revive this situation?)
The stew is nice. Open a restaurant
(A sudden future plan)
We bought this meat at an ordinary grocery store but it is very nice
I don't know why this is so nice
Because I grilled it with love
I mean the pork in the stew
(Giggle)
I boiled it with love (Anyway, the BIGBANG meal is full of love)
(The atmosphere is heightened by the dinner party)
(The next episode)
In retrospect, I think we've been through a lot of hardships together
Thank you, my friend
I'm so proud of you
Seeing you always giving in to the greedy brothers
I've learned a lot
I'm glad that you've grown into a good man among the mischievous brothers
I'm so proud that you are my big brother
Don't forget we are always here for you
I'm actually a big fan of "DOOM DADA."

When do you think she'll wake up? She's been like this for two weeks now.
I'm thinking the same, what if she never wakes up? We'll run out of food eventually. Should we...leave? But we can't leave our master!
You're right. It's time we leave, even if it's hard. I can't possibly eat our master.
Do you really think that'd work?
Let me try.
We did it. Now we can...leave home I guess…
Take it. Your collar's broken, and we can't fix it, but I'm sure you'll grow into this hoodie eventually. Remember her by it.
That's what I was thinking.
I'm sorry that...we never really got to know you as much as we should have, but you were a good owner for the time being.
May you rest in peace, master. We will always be loyal to you, deep down. We should never have another master but you. You will always be the only one to us.
Argh! Why can't I catch something? I'm going to starve to death at this rate!
Okay, you seem to have some kind of instinct, I'll give you that. Thank the Great One that you're able to sustain us...more or less.
Richard, did you find anything yet?
Well, that grouse couldn't have gone far, could it?
What was all that about? Come on, let's follow that guy! I want to know what his deal is!
Wait.
You're right. He's much bigger and well-fed than us. If he thinks we're coming after him to get that grouse...maybe he'll respond hostile. Let's stalk him, but slowly and carefully. If there's the slightest sign of him seeing us, we'll run instantly, okay?
The woods end here… Wait...we're out of our territory!
Yes, I was the one that suggested we'd follow him, I know. We should just get out of here this instant...
What do you think you're doing here? Do you know that this territory belongs to Rufus's Clan?
Eh...Rufus' Clan?
Are you rogues?
Oh, no, no...we're just... strays, I guess?
Why do you look so terrible?
Because we lost our old owner and downright suck at living in the wild. And no, we don't want another owner, before you ask.
Well, in that case...Rufus's Clan might just offer what you're looking for…
Rabbit! Hush, everyone.
I'm sorry that didn't work out, Starlight.
Richard, are you okay? Normally you're by far the fastest at noticing prey.
Hey, I'm just asking. No need to be so grouchy about it.
That went downright poorly.
Don't be sad, you're already one of the greatest hunters in the Clan. One hunt that goes wrong is nothing to be ashamed of.
But I had a bet with Walter that I'd be able to catch five rabbits in a row! Guess I can forget about that now.
Well, maybe you shouldn't be...you know, placing childish bets on something so vital and important.
Tsk. Childish? I'm only a half year younger than you. And we bet on who has to do the morning patrol. Loser of the bet would have to get up early, and, since I hate this patrol so much, it'd be worth it.
Well, you lost. Let's continue.
Sensitive as always, Richard.
Don't think I didn't notice, though.
Lately you've been acting different, Richard. You seem more distracted. As if something is occupying your mind. You can tell me anything, you know that.
No, it's not "nothing". The Richard from a month ago would have sensed that rabbit the first. Wouldn't try to get rid of me as much. Wouldn't be so eager to join so many patrols.
You're...you're sick, aren't you? And you're trying to distract yourself from the fact that you're sick by keeping yourself busy. Oh, Rich-
Look, yes, I'm sick! Fine! You got it out of me! Now shut up about it! I don't want the Clan to worry about me or treat me any different!
You just...snapped at me. You spoke up. That's an actual thing that happened.
I am very much aware of that. Just keep it quiet, okay?
But...it's not that hard. We can just let our healers look at you. I'm sure they can help.
This isn't a sickness they can cure.
So you know what it is? How? Maybe you could ask Rufus for permission to temporarily leave the Clan. You could find a vet in the humanplace, let them take care of you, and then escape back into the-
Okay, fine! If you just want to be sick and not do anything about it, be my guest! I'm just trying to help you get better, the logical thing to do when one's relative is sick!
Just, drop it, Kwebso.
I always understood you without you speaking. Now you speak up for once, and you confuse me more than ever.
Drop it.
Alright, alright, fine!
Richard, your disease...it isn't fatal, is it?
Earlier or later, I'll be gone, Kwebso. But I don't want the time we have left to be any different. So stop moping and worrying about me.
You mean you'll die...no, Richard, I cannot accept-
Shut. Up.

Water Movement Through Soil Profiles Under Three Different Farming Systems (Part 2) - Duration: 3:19.
[Music]
In our previous video, Dr. Tom walked us
through the basics of his rainfall
simulator experiment.
And in this experiment he looked at three different
tillage systems beginning with the
moldboard plow.
In this video Dr. Tom continues with a look at the no-till and
chisel plow systems
And just to key you in, Dr. Tom talks about saturation: when
soil is saturated it means that every
pore space is filled with water, and that
means that there's no place for the
water to go.
"No-till here we see no ponding occurred
it actually never got saturated,
with this rainfall event and you can
see this peak at the 16 inch level,
being being almost simultaneous with
that at the 40 centimeter level
so that means that the water is
going in like into a bathtub drain going
into those macropores
again macropores one millimeter in
diameter or greater is going into those
pores and and going down the 16 inches
very, very quickly instead of going down
in a very slow manner through the soil profile."
So you'll see that the increase
in moisture for the no-till system is
much more gradual than the moldboard
plow or the chisel plow.
But why is that? Let's see what Dr. Tom has to say.
"This is more gradual that's also because
we're talking about water moving in and
dispersing throughout the whole profile
here it's being stuck on the on that
just on that small volume or on that
that small depth"
And then you also pointed out earlier that this peak over
here is well below saturation so
there's always place for more water to go
within two and three-quarter inch storm.
Yes, in in the no-till so what
we're doing here is we're not getting
water
going off, we're getting water going into
the profile and at the top of the slope
that's really great very important
because it's we're getting water that
can be used by the plant otherwise water
is not there. Chisel plow you can see is
this somewhat in-betweeen [the moldboard plow and the no-till] but here we're talking
about again getting saturated we're
getting ponding occurring here and there
is a delay.
In Dr. Tom's experiment everything comes down to soil structure.
Absolutely.
the more aggressive the tillage the
quicker the soil loses its structure and
water has a much tougher time moving
through that profile and staying there
for the next crop.
One might argue that this was done a while ago
has anything been done recently?
Well, that's an excellent question let's hear
from farmer Al Miron and researcher
Anthony Bly. See you soon!

Glowing Light Coverage Foundation Routine for Problem Skin - Duration: 5:43.
Hey guys.
Welcome back.
Today I'm going to be taking you through my easy glowy skin routine for problem dry skin.
This is what I've been doing for my skin lately.
It's kind of like a nice, light coverage foundation summer look, and you can dress this up or
down as much as you want.
Before I get started, I want to show you what my skin looks like, my naked skin.
The only thing I have on right now is moisturizer and SPF.
For those of you who don't know, I have rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, dry skin and sensitivity,
and I have a video about my skin that I recently shared.
I'll put a link to that up here so you can check it out.
I'm going to zoom in so you can see what my face looks like.
All right, so you can see I have redness at the center of my face from my rosacea.
I've got an acne scar here that's sort of healing that's taking forever from a really,
really deep pimple that I had from my rosacea.
I've got really weird texture right here on my face from this zit that didn't heal properly
and a little bit down here.
Up here, I have a cherry angioma that I had removed which looks like a little bit of it
came back.
Basically with my skin, because I have rosacea, I often have like little bumps and little
zit-like things and redness.
My redness is actually pretty minimal right now.
It's looked much worse in the past, so I'm not doing too bad with that.
I just wanted you to see what I have to work with.
I don't have perfect skin.
I have people tell me that I have nice skin which is nice of them to say, but I definitely
don't feel like it because of my rosacea, because I have breakouts.
The first product that I'm going to put on is the PUR No Filter Primer.
I have been using this a lot.
If you look at it, it really looks like it's just kind of like a white gold color.
I'm going to, I guess, put it on my fingers for you so you can see.
It gives you just like a nice luminescence or radiance to the skin.
I'm actually going to add a little bit of Urban Decay's Liquid Aura, because I did this
for Mother's Day when I went to go take my mother-in-law out to dinner, and I loved how
it looked.
As you can see by comparison, the Liquid Aura is much more of a cool white with like a pinky-violet
shift.
I'm just going to mix these two products together and put it on my face.
I'm using the Buxom Show Some Skin Foundation in the shade Tickle the Ivory.
This is a pretty good match for my skin tone.
I need to add a little bit of white to it to make it a perfect match.
I'm going to add NYX Pro Foundation Mixer in White, and I'm also going to use a little
bit of the Liquid Aura because I really love how this looks mixed in with my foundation.
I'm just mixing these together on the back of my hand, and I'm using my body heat to
help warm it up and mix the colors together.
Then I'm going to start dabbing this on the center of my face which is where I need most
of the coverage.
I really like this foundation because it's light to medium coverage, so it'll pretty
much cover up everything I want it to cover up without looking really cakey or heavy.
It doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at all, which I really appreciate.
I really hate wearing thick, heavy foundation.
I'm just bouncing the beauty blender on my face.
I know some people say pounce, but it's bounce like you bounce a ball, not pounce like a
cat.
I'm just going to cover a tiny little thing on my forehead.
This is the Kat Von D Concealer in L1 Neutral, and I'm just, there we go, using it to cover
up the little blemish right there on my forehead.
After I have this the way that I like it, what I do next is I use my setting spray.
I'm using Urban Decay Chill, because Chill is for dry skin.
Hopefully you can see that my skin has a luminosity to it from these steps, but I'm not done yet.
The reason I use a setting spray before I move on to the next step is that I want it
to be dry to the touch whenever I go on to add on any blush or highlighter so that there's
no cakiness and smearing or clinging to wet patches.
The next thing I like to do is put on blush, and I'm going to put on Urban Decay Obsessed
Blush which is a light pink.
I'm using my Real Techniques Multi-Purpose Brush.
Then I'm going to take more of Liquid Aura and basically highlight along this part of
my face.
Now if you do not like a very noticeable highlight, I would stop at this point with the highlight,
just because it's going to be ... I think you can see it gives you a nice natural-looking
highlight.
Because I like my highlighter to be more visible, I'm actually going to use Makeup Geek Celestial.
I'm just going right on top of what I just put on with Aura.
That's really it.
This is what I've been doing a lot lately so that I could have nice, beautiful, glowy
skin.
Really what I think makes all the difference is having the No Filter Primer and then a
product like Urban Decay Liquid Aura to mix with your foundation.
I'm using a tinted moisturizer which is on the more light-medium side for coverage so
that it doesn't look like a full face of heavy makeup.
It still covers up all of my redness and I can feel confident that I look great.
I think the last thing at this point, the only other thing I would do, is if I was going
to be going back out again, I would use another layer of the Chill spray and call it good.
Anyway, what do you think of my light coverage glowy skin foundation routine?

Online service for checking files with dozens of antivirus programs. Online virus scanner! - Duration: 3:08.
Hello.
Are you Comp Help channel.
In today's video we We will talk about a very
interesting service that It helps you scan
suspicious files using many different anti-virus
engines.
At home, for In order to ensure that
you do not have the right file viruses, you set your
PC Antivirus scan this file for
the presence of a threat, but the problem is that your antivirus
can not see the file viruses, but other antivirus software
easily find them, but probably the majority of users
aware that if you set two or more anti-virus
program in between they will conflict
and the system will start to slow down wildly.
Here we come to the rescue and service that combines OPSWAT
a 40 popular engines antivirus software such as AVG,
Avira, Bitdefender, ESET, Dr.Web, Kaspersky, Microsoft and many others.
And now we will consider how to use it.
Click on a link in the description and get to the main page
service.
He is in the English language, but it's not a problem,
how it all clear and without the knowledge of the language.
To scan a file click on the Select a point
The File, and then there is a limit, file should not take
more than 140 megabytes.
Choose, then will download the file to the service.
Then automatically starts File scanning dozens
antivirus and through a small period of time we get
result of checking.
If viruses were file find, the service will
green circle us, but If the file is infected,
then there will be a circle Red.
In that case, down down a bit and look
that more detailed for the virus It found, and some anti-virus software
he was found.
And I have that's all.
Thank you all for watching.

Water Movement Through Soil Profiles Under Three Different Farming Systems (Part 2) - Duration: 3:19.
[Music]
In our previous video, Dr. Tom walked us
through the basics of his rainfall
simulator experiment.
And in this experiment he looked at three different
tillage systems beginning with the
moldboard plow.
In this video Dr. Tom continues with a look at the no-till and
chisel plow systems
And just to key you in, Dr. Tom talks about saturation: when
soil is saturated it means that every
pore space is filled with water, and that
means that there's no place for the
water to go.
"No-till here we see no ponding occurred
it actually never got saturated,
with this rainfall event and you can
see this peak at the 16 inch level,
being being almost simultaneous with
that at the 40 centimeter level
so that means that the water is
going in like into a bathtub drain going
into those macropores
again macropores one millimeter in
diameter or greater is going into those
pores and and going down the 16 inches
very, very quickly instead of going down
in a very slow manner through the soil profile."
So you'll see that the increase
in moisture for the no-till system is
much more gradual than the moldboard
plow or the chisel plow.
But why is that? Let's see what Dr. Tom has to say.
"This is more gradual that's also because
we're talking about water moving in and
dispersing throughout the whole profile
here it's being stuck on the on that
just on that small volume or on that
that small depth"
And then you also pointed out earlier that this peak over
here is well below saturation so
there's always place for more water to go
within two and three-quarter inch storm.
Yes, in in the no-till so what
we're doing here is we're not getting
water
going off, we're getting water going into
the profile and at the top of the slope
that's really great very important
because it's we're getting water that
can be used by the plant otherwise water
is not there. Chisel plow you can see is
this somewhat in-betweeen [the moldboard plow and the no-till] but here we're talking
about again getting saturated we're
getting ponding occurring here and there
is a delay.
In Dr. Tom's experiment everything comes down to soil structure.
Absolutely.
the more aggressive the tillage the
quicker the soil loses its structure and
water has a much tougher time moving
through that profile and staying there
for the next crop.
One might argue that this was done a while ago
has anything been done recently?
Well, that's an excellent question let's hear
from farmer Al Miron and researcher
Anthony Bly. See you soon!

This video is part 4 of a special series we're doing about the story of our species: In other

all related.

Renegades Episode 1 - Duration: 11:09.
You mean you'll die...no, Richard, I cannot accept-
Shut. Up.
But Richard, you're going to die.
Goodnight, Kwebso.
Good...goodnight, Richard.

the more aggressive the tillage the
quicker the soil loses its structure and
water has a much tougher time moving
through that profile and staying there
for the next crop.
One might argue that this was done a while ago
has anything been done recently?
Well, that's an excellent question let's hear
from farmer Al Miron and researcher
Anthony Bly. See you soon!

E1 | VoxelCraft | Getting Started | Modded Minecraft 1.10.2 | Sponsored By Sticky Pistion - Duration: 21:27.
Down to half a heart and I'm starving to death...
Hi and welcome to a brand new
series. Oh there's a portal back there.
Don't know if that spoilers but it's
just portal. So I'm sure it's okay.
Okay, anyway. Hi and welcome to another new
series by Kinda Googly this is a VoxelCraft
on the voxel craft server. This is
a sponsored server by Sticky Piston and...
Yeah... I was invited to, whoa I have a
flower in my head. Let's not do that.
I was invited by a few of the members of Teh Voxel Squad
to join their squad. So I
am now a member of the Voxel Squad. So
and yeah. Now I'm recording on one of
their servers, this is a sponsored server
by Sticky Piston. So check them out in the
link join their discord all that
wonderful stuff cuz yeah they're kind of
awesome to be sponsoring the server for
us and.. Yep I'm excited there's some.. Oh
yeah I thought I was going to stop doing that
there's a lot of mods in this pack that
I know absolutely nothing about. So I'm
kinda excited to see how that works out. So
yeah, let's get to it and try to figure
out what I'm doing.
So, I'm supposed to setup somewhere close to spawn obviously not
right at spawn because. Yeah, there's like a
little mining portal over there by spawn.
I'm guessing that's community.
I don't see it as claimed but I'm not sure
if they have claimed chunks turned on or
not. I think they said something
about turning them off.
So yeah. Being that it's right here at
spawn. I'm guessing it is meant for...
Mining Portal! I'm guessing it is meant
for... Empty Chest!
it's meant for, you know... Newcomers
just logging in and you know to help get
them set up and all that stuff. So let's
see if I can get some some wood so I can
make a pick and maybe start
working towards... Start working
towards getting some resources in the
mining dimension. see how that
works
what is this over here some kind of
structural thingy. Kind of a weird monument
thing. So yeah there's all kinds of mods
in this pack, like the animals have
different genders so you can't just
breed two cows against each other. You
have to get a male cow and a female cow
or a male cow and a bull or something like
that. I don't know, not really sure how it
all works.
More than likely I'm going to be a
vegetarian at least for the beginning of
this. I might change to to meat at some
point but in general... I yeah... I try to
avoid harming innocent creatures. In
general. I'm going to take some of these berries.
It's not really stealing because they grow back.
and all that. Cuz, I kinda needs
some food to get by. To survive. I need to
survive (sad face). I have no deaths! I'm the only
one on the server with no deaths. I guess that
means them awesome? Let's make a crafting
bench.
Well crafting station because it's just
better than a crafting bench. Lets be
honest. Lets be honest here be honest with
ourselves okay? And, that should be all we
need.
Oh yeah, I don't want to do that. Oh wait
know I need a hatchet, too. Should be all we
need for now.
Oh
And, it makes noise when you switch between them.
If they were metal tools it
would make a shing kinda sound. Like a
metal Shing. I'm going to go in here because I
don't know what else to do with myself. I
I can't go in here apparently. Oh okay
it's not my portal.
So, portals are individualized? That's, that's interesting.
I didn't know that. It's good to know. So
I got to find my own own path in this
cruel world? So I'm gonna go out maybe a
few blocks. It almost sounds like I'm
galloping. It's kinda disturbing. I'm not a
horse. I've never been a horse, as far as
I know. Maybe I was a past life but in
this life I've never been a horse in
this life. I really don't know what to
do in this pack. I'm being completely honest on
that. Okay there's a nasty thing just spawned
like right next to me. So I'm going to
avoid that nasty thing.
Whoa, so many noises! Sounds! Sound I'm not familiar with
I don't know what's going on?! (Sad Face)
There's a pig!
A cute little pig, it's got ears and a tail.
Can I get some stone please? Some stone would me nice.
Can I get this stone without getting
hit by... Oh no! Yeah! there's lava there.
Let's avoid the lava.
Makes a sound when you jump, too. Interesting...
See look! The Piggy!
What is that circling the pig? That is...
Yorkshire snow? I like the ears and I think
it has a tail. Oh!
That would be poison ivy. Lets try to avoid the
poison ivy. What do you say? Now there's and eye circling it.
I have no idea what
that means. I don't know, Yorkshire. You
tell me? More poison!
I'm guessing this area isn't that explored,
if there's a poison ivy over here?
Alright there's an apple tree over here
seems to be natural so I think I should
be able to just pick these apples?
Be careful not to step in any poison.
There we go.
Wait no! That's cherries. Ooh even better!
I like me some cherries.
And I am renewing my my health. Let's
see if I can... Yeah I'm just gonna have to
get use to that sound. Every
time I switch tools I think something's
about to attack me.
should get some sappies from this.
I'm going to make a cherry tree for where I set up first.
Lets see make a cherry trees. Yep I got a cherry!
I hear a zombie. That's probably not
a good time signed. Signed? Sign! Can I speak
properly please? Maybe? Possibly... Probably
not! Knowing me, Nah.
Not very well. Okay so I have to hang out
find a spot maybe this area here doesn't
look like it's been been developed
at all.
let me look around a little bit it
hasn't been
I might just set up base here.
Aww look at this cute little animal. Isn't you cute?
Aww, yes you are. You cute. Yeah. Okay I'll stop
talking like that. It's somewhat annoying.
Lets see what this structure is. I think it's
just a random structure that like it
doesn't really have anything to do with
any one's base or anything because yeah
sometimes random structures will spawn
and in this pack I believe. Not sure what
mod does that? Okay yeah it looks like
it's a random structure that someone may
have mined some of it away but yeah for
the most part this looks like it's
unclaimed Land.
Hello Phoenix. Oh stuff! I got stuff!
Thanks for the free stuff. (Phoenix) "yeah no
problem
I noticed you couldn't sleep and I was
like well I can make a sleeping bag and
then I was like I was going to make you
a bed as well and I was like well wait a
minute they probably need a backpack
which is always a good thing to have you
know" (Googly:) "yeah definitely. I don't think
this area is claimed at all I might you
know take a little chunk of this
somewhere and just start setting up
something" (Phoenix) "nobody's
really everybody's really kinda just kind of
spread evenly within a couple hundred
blocks of spawn because we're trying to
do a spawn town eventually." (Googly:) "okay" (Phoenix) "so
there's not really and we don't really
have the whole claim chunk thing anymore"
(Googly) "What does that sound oh my god?!!!
There's a Dragon!!! Or wait... Is that a Dragon?
(Pheonix) "Oh he just ran away from me. Do dragons run
From you?" oh no oh he come flying back
really fast!!!" (Googly) "What that really a dragon or is
that someone pretending to be a dragon?"
(Jay) "you'll hear the wings" (Googly) "huh?"
(Jay) "you'll here the wings if it is a dragon"
(Pheonix) "you'll know if it's a dragon because
they are huge they're as big as the
ender dragon" (Googly) "This thing was pretty big!"
(Googly) "I keep hearing my heart beat. It's a little disturbing."
(Phoenix) "yeah he's a little creepy" (Googly) "Yeah"
(Phoenix) "It's very horror movie-ish." (Jay) "Where are you? Do you want me to bring you some food?"
(Googly) "I've been planting stuff." (Jay) "Check you out"
"Here you go, here's some fish." (Googly) "thank you for the fish"
(Jay) "It's okay" (Googly) "It's very gentlemanly like of you like."
"Fireworks!"
"Celebration of me, I guess. I don't know.
I don't know why you're setting off fireworks?"
(Jay) "Aww, they're pretty" (Googly) "They are pretty"
(Jay) "I have a lot of them" (Googly) "I can see that"
(Jay) "You can have some. I've got like loads." (Googly) "Oh, wow!"
(Jay) "I've got like another 15 stacks"
(Googly) "I've got to get some more wood. I've got to make a chest."
(Jay) "Oh yeah you can have these.
I don't know if you won't freebies but you can have freebies"
(Googly) "I'll take free stuff"
(Phoenix) "I was going to say, I gave free stuff."
(Googly) I saw the poison ivy. I looked at the poison ivy.
I knew it was poison ivy and I
stepped on it anyway because that's the
Kinda Googly that I am"
Wait what? I got a, a diamond chestplate
just drop from this ore.
So, yeah! I was able to find this nice little spot here
between I guess of planes over there and
a redwood forest over there and yeah
just like a little temporary spot where
I was able to plant some stuff and
I got some sugarcane going and a
little patch there and I found this
little this little guy right here.
This little this little worm right here. He does a
really good job as maintaining these
crops. I mean this stuff just keeps
growing like crazy. I might not even need
all this other stuff here with the way
this guy works. If get a couple more of
these guys I might be able to just do
like little patches like this scattered
around but yeah I really like. I really like
this spot I was able to plant some fruit
trees and stuff and I was able to meet
up with Phoenix and we spent like hours
and voice chat and Jay ended up joining
us and both of them stopped by gave me
some nice stuff and helped me get
started so yeah it's been a very
interesting experience for me so far but
oh and I forgot to tell you about this
is down here okay so when I was mining
you may have seen it in the in the
time-lapse but I found these bushes so
there's a copper
bush black quartz bush and then I got to
iron bushes right here and they make
Let me see if I can find them.
I have to keep them dark. That's why they're behind dirt but
I'll probably dress this up here a
little bit better in a future
episode. Let's see if I can find those ore
berries. There are some more bushes.
I didn't feel like I needed to plant a whole lot of them.
But yeah here's the or berries this
is what grows off of them so yeah I'm not
really sure how to craft these down
let's see if I can figure it out
I'm sure it's not too difficult. Well, I'm sure
I will probably have to smelt them, too.
I'm not really sure let's see um recipes
okay I don't know. I'll probably ask
someone I'll probably just end up asking
someone. One of the people on the
server. The people here they're pretty
knowledgeable about you know mods and
mod packs. I mean they built this pack.
So yeah I'm pretty sure
they know what's going on with with the
mods that are on here but yeah and I
made this sword which makes an awesome
sound when I use it. I love this sword
and it's not so much the sword itself
it's just the sound that it makes what I
love so much and yeah I had a really
good time with my first well my first
day of recording and um but yeah that's
pretty much all I have for this first
episode so I hope you enjoyed it and if
you did please leave a like and
subscribe. Thank you so much for watching and
I'll see you in the next one good bye
bye bye bye
bye
Oh, I'm out of food I need to eat something.
I'm going to starve to death.
Nooo! (Sad Face)

As a Faculty Coordinator, my role is to make sure that our courses are up to date and make
sure that we have courses that align with the needs of the market.
I think what really interests me is to be able to make organizations, to decrease their
costs, and to increase their profits and also increase their effectiveness, that really
is what interests me a lot in the world of Operations Management.
Teaching is really not a one-way interaction. So while sharing my knowledge with students,
I also have an opportunity to learn from them.
It's really rewarding to see how students are using the concepts and the techniques
that I teach them in my class in their daily work.
I always wanted to be a good teacher and a strong researcher and I always looked for

Please be sure to let me know in the comments below.

Going On A Day Trip With Kids To The Ranch - Duration: 6:08.
Hi everybody! Today we are out at a local
ranch. It's a little ways from home. we're
enjoying a "Spring Fling". They've got goats
that we were just petting -- and actually
my oldest caught one of the baby goats.
she's over there climbing on a giant hay
bale. there's local food and all kinds of
goodies We're just out enjoying...
enjoying the day and the shade.
Okay....before we get into enjoying the sun and
the shade too much, let's go ahead and
talk really quick about what we did to
prepare for our -- turned out to be
about a half-day -- trip so let's talk a
little bit about it real quick
starting with snacks. Okay so here's the
snack table. there is food out there
however, it's always best to have extra
food. just ask my five-year-old, or my
husband actually to be honest, so these
are the snacks we're going to take. we're
going to do some tortilla chips some
blueberries grapes, and then one of the
favorites, the rotisserie chicken breast.
we'll take some of that. we're going to
load it all up in this cold bag with
some ice packs to keep it nice and cold.
I've also got a bottle that I'm going to
put some ice water in, a packet for the
littlest, some Z Bars and then also on top
here you'll notice this family
storybook treasury. The cool thing about
this is it has a CD inside and then a
bunch of awesome stories that I'm going
to put on for my oldest as we're driving
out there. it's not a super far drive but
it'll be nice to have this. Okay we're
all loaded up and I've got everything
that I need in the car. I've got a Sun Hat
very important. I have the Bob stroller
which collapses and I love. I've got my
snack bag right here and then I also
have the storybooks and the diaper bag
full of diapers, wipes, extra outfit -- all
the things that you should already know
to be bringing for your baby. it's all
in here and I've got everything -- the sink --
we're ready to go down the road.
-- music --
everybody share!
So we've been traveling around in our
Bob stroller. I didn't bring the wrap
because it's hot out for this former
Alaskan. So she's been cruising in the
Bob but I just took her out we're about to
get some food and she is excited
cue the leg wiggles!
Okay so we're here at this awesome little
farm and we've ordered some food. we
ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, some
white bean soup, an Italian
meatball sub and a goat taco, so -- awesome!
Excited to try some of this
food and it's all locally sourced so
it's gonna be good.
okay here's the goat taco, bean soup.
mom's got the meatball sub over there
and we're waiting on grilled cheese
sandwich, much to the sadness of that one.
Did you have fun? Yeah! What what did you do today?
I caught a baby goat. Did you have any
fun with horses? Yeah! Tell me about it. I feed them.....
Hey guys, well that's it it's time to
take my littles home, especially my
littlest little. she's ready for a nap,
but it's been a fun day so far and now I
want a baby goat. So I'm going to have to talk to Steve about that...
hey guys,
so we got home just a little bit ago and
I got all changed and I came out here to
clean out the car, get all the empty
snack bags out. my oldest actually ate
pretty much everything in the car so
it's a good thing that we had the extra
snacks because as I said she ate
at the ranch but she ate....she
also ate everything in the car! so we had
a great time, lots of fun in the sun. glad
we took the sunscreen. and I'm pretty
sure that both of my kids are going to
sleep like a rock -- the rocks -- tonight.
thank you so much for joining us today.
hope you enjoyed our little video of our
adventure out to the ranch. if you would
like to check out our channel we would
appreciate you joining us. and if you
like our videos click Subscribe click
like. we also have a Facebook page and we
have a blog. so we'd love for you to join
with us on one of those mediums. and hope
you are all doing extremely well thanks
again. have a good day. bye!

Edmonton Women Untold Stories: Reakash Walters - Duration: 1:48.
I am someone who feels very deeply about everything.
My name is Reakash Walters, and this is my story.
I work in communities, so I do some
community organising and community advocacy.
One of the things that I really believe in
is knowledge sharing within our communities
and that our voice is really important,
and so I try to create spaces like that.
A lot of my work is tied up with trying to find ways
to bridge the gap between community desires
and the desires of government.
I've recently been a part of a course symposium,
I was also one of the speakers at the Women's March.
In my day-to-day sometimes I
do presentations on anti-racism.
I try to teach folks about decolonization
in their own specific ways.
My childhood was filled with a lot of
laughter, and jokes, and culture.
My dad has a very strong personality.
He's always able to command a room and keep people engaged.
And so I think, growing up, I wanted that,
I wanted people to want to be around me.
And my mother inspired me to have empathy,
and then use those experiences to inform
how I'm going to try to make the world better.
