You've probably heard that lots of mammals besides humans have incredible senses of smell,
like how dogs use their noses to track down food or communicate with each other or find
drugs.
But think about it.
The smell of your mom's cooking or your childhood home sometimes sets off powerful
memories, doesn't it?
And you can tell right away if food goes bad.
A review published last week in the journal Science argues that humans do stack up to
other mammals in the smell department, although we detect different scents for different reasons.
So why do we think our noses suck?
Well, this researcher suggests that it's because of misconceptions that started with
a 19th century neuroanatomist named Paul Broca.
Your ability to smell comes from two ovals of tissue tucked under the frontal lobe called
the olfactory bulbs, which receive smell information and send it on to the rest of your brain for
interpretation.
In many mammals, like dogs, these bulbs sit right at the front of the skull and are big
compared to the rest of their brains — in mice, for instance, they make up about 2 percent
of total brain volume.
But in humans and other primates, they're kind of pushed out of the way and small by
comparison — they only account for about 0.01 percent of your brain volume.
So while investigating the anatomy of the frontal lobe, Paul Broca thought our relatively
tiny bulbs meant that our behaviors are guided by other brain regions and thought processes,
instead of smell like many other mammals.
This recent review suggests that, like a game of historical telephone, this idea got passed
around until a general scientific understanding was that humans have a bad sense of smell.
But, turns out, it might not be that simple, according to experimental data.
In some studies, scientists compared the number of neurons in olfactory bulbs of lots of mammals,
because we think information processing has to do with the number of neurons and connections
between them, not just brain size.
And humans were right up there with animals like mice, rats, and monkeys.
Other studies showed that humans are just as good or better than other mammals at detecting
tiny amounts of certain scents, like some sulfur-containing compounds or the smell of
bananas.
But we're also worse than mice, dogs, or rabbits when it comes to other odors.
One 2007 paper in Nature Neuroscience even found that humans can follow scent trails
like dogs.
They compared a dog following a trail of a pheasant dragged through a field to a human
sniffing for chocolate essential oil, and their paths were similar!
This is a hilarious thought to me that there's just a guy sniffing through a field after
chocolate smell!
But even with all this research, the review suggests that we still have a lot to learn.
It can be hard to compare our sense of smell with other mammals because we experience scents
differently.
Like, we don't go around sniffing each other's butts because we have other means of communication.
Basically, smell is definitely part of our social makeup and things like memory, but
I don't think we're going to see luggage-sniffing humans at airports any time soon.
In fact, researchers are doing just fine making discoveries with their other senses, like
sight!
In February, a group of scientists and rock climbers teamed up on a three month expedition
to the tallest volcanic stack in the world, and found an extremely rare stick insect.
And this discovery, along with others, is helping us preserve little nooks of biodiversity!
At the end of last year, we did a list show about some creatures that are endemic, meaning
they're only found in one place.
On that list was a creature called the Lord Howe Island Stick Insect, commonly known as
a Tree Lobster because… well… it's huge and sometimes-reddish and, y'know, could
be confused for a crustacean.
Tree lobsters were thought to be hunted to extinction by rats in the 1920s.
But that changed in the early 2000s when rock climbers stumbled across a handful of them
under a bush on a steep volcanic rock formation called Ball's Pyramid.
Ball's Pyramid is about halfway between Australia and New Zealand, just south of Lord
Howe Island.
Both islands are home to lots of endemic species, and are on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Since 2003, the Melbourne Zoo has been breeding these stick insects, to hopefully have enough
to reintroduce them onto Lord Howe Island someday.
After they kill all of the rats, I guess.
They have thousands now, but they started with only two insects.
So scientists have been concerned about genetic diversity and their ability to adapt to their
environment when they're released back into the wild.
So, back in February, scientists from the Australian Museum Research Institute traveled
to the islands to survey the fauna there, and teamed up with some rock climbers to search
for another female tree lobster.
They found 10, and collected one!
They named her Vanessa after the climber that spotted her, and she's now safely back at
the zoo making babies.
But the discoveries didn't end there.
The research team also came back with some tissue samples from another endemic species,
this time a bird, to add to the museum's collection of over 80,000 frozen samples so
scientists can look at their genomes later.
And they observed a beetle that was thought to be extinct because it hadn't been seen
in 140 years!
These researchers hope that the results of their survey, and more to come, will help
us continue to find better ways to protect the unique biodiversity of these islands.

What Really Went Wrong With King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword? - Duration: 3:46.
King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword's disastrous opening in May 2017 vaulted it to the top
of the list of biggest box office bombs of the year, earning a measly 14.7 million dollars
in the U.S., against a $175 million budget — plus marketing costs.
"So what happens now. You know what happens now.
You're quickly becoming a legend."
Yeah: A legendary flop.
But director Guy Ritchie knows how to make big, loud, awesome action movies.
Charlie Hunnam is a talented actor on-the-rise with all the qualities you could want in a
leading man.
Jude Law makes a great villain.
So, by Merlin's beard, how did The Legend of the Sword go so wrong?
Out of touch
The Legend of the Sword is the latest in a string of studios trying — and failing — to
put a fresh spin on old stories and properties, joining Ben Hur, Chips, and The Legend of
Tarzan in the flophouse.
Recycling familiar tales just isn't as profitable as it once was, unless you're Marvel, DC,
or Disney.
But it wasn't that long ago that Arthurian legend was a cinematic goldmine.
Just ask the makers of 1981's Excalibur, which grossed $35 million against an estimated
$11 million budget.
Alas, the times have changed.
Hollywood's last attempt at bringing the legend to the big screen, 2004's star-packed King
Arthur, was also a widely panned flop, suggesting modern audiences just no longer have an appetite
for Arthur ...
"Behold!
The man who pulled sword from stone!"
And if you actually were pumped for another Knights of the Round Table flick, the multiple
delays pushing back the release date back by a whopping ten months might have killed
your buzz.
TV killed the cinema star
When it comes to stabbing and shouting, we're spoiled for choice.
Do we really need yet another big screen King Arthur movie when we've got Game of Thrones
and Vikings on demand?
Television is the new home of the adventure epic, with hundreds and hundreds of hours
available of the exact same kind of gritty and bloody entertainment The Legend of the
Sword is offering up.
Fans of swords and sorcery stories won't head out to the theater for this kind of thing
unless they really feel like they can count on solid results.
And the years of recasting rumors, with Idris Elba and Colin Farrell, among many others,
attached to and then dropped from the project, did not bode well for the movie's final cut.
Thin gruel
The almost entirely male supporting cast in The Legend of the Sword aren't really fleshed
out characters like the ones fans love in HBO's epics: they're more like plot devices.
King Arthur's cast does their best with what they've been given.
But their thinly-written characters have no real motivation outside of "find Arthur, get
him to wield Excalibur, and make him tell us what to do."
"Now, when you say, 'We're going to take the castle,' what does that mean?"
"I thought you said you weren't going to push me.
C'mon lads, chop chop."
Then there's the mysterious Mage, the only prominent female character, who only ever
uses her immense power from a safe distance — secretly — and commands animals to do
her dirty work.
But when the combat gets close, she's quickly overpowered, which just doesn't track.
Why is she holding back?
All in all, if your characters are a flop, your movie probably will be, too.
Epic fail
To recap: it's kind of no wonder this loud, violent, romance-free movie with poorly written
characters bombed on Mother's Day weekend.
It was beaten by the female-centric mother and daughter comedy Snatched, as well as the
box office invincibility of Marvel and its Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.
Warner Brothers clearly overestimated moviegoers' hunger for this kind of entertainment, overlooking
a major side effect of today's binge-watching culture: when it doesn't leave you satisfied,
it leaves you stuffed, and paying twenty bucks at the box office for another bloated epic
doesn't spell relief.

So click that button, and wait a few seconds, and hopefully you are almost done !
So all you have to do now is go back through the document,
And correct any errors that were made during the Auto-Translation.
At that point you are done.
However….you are NOT done !
Because it is useless… unless you change the Title and Description.
And for that…..you are still in the same screen,
And you simply click the upper-most left-hand corner,
Where it says "Title and Description".
And here you also have the option of using the Auto-Translate button.

Dr. Quillin: Hemp, cannabis, is arguably the most useful plant on earth.
If you do a history of it, you look at canvas, which is what our ancestors used for
Conestoga wagons and for the clothing.
Canvas comes from the word cannabis, because cannabis was
the material that they used to make all of their clothing
and canvas.
It lasts longer than cotton or polyester.
If you go back and look at your history, it was around 1937 when
DuPont got its patent for polyester, and that was the beginning of the witch hunt to get
rid of cannabis.
Because it was competition.

They did a huge study, prospective, randomized trial, and
he said, "Not only it doesn't cause it, it actually helps to
prevent it."
THC has an anti-cancer property.
I'm not telling people you should smoke marijuana.
I'm telling you that we need to have a rational discussion
on marijuana, hemp, cannabis, because there's an
abundance of data now that says that it's non-toxic and has therapeutic benefits.
The CBD, cannabinoids, apparently there are cannabinoid receptors in the human body, and
it's almost as if nature designed, "Here's lock and
key.
And this fits in, and it improves."
It's an adaptogen, not unlike ginseng, or garlic, or substances that
just make everything work a little bit better.
We need to have an adult discussion on it.
If you compare it to tobacco and alcohol, the risk to benefit,
the cost ratio of cannabis is in favor of legalizing it, regulating it, and taxing it.

Easy, 30 Minute Chocolate Croissants Recipe - How to Make Croissants with Store-bought Puff Pastry - Duration: 2:26.

Hi guys, today we are making our chocolate croissants.
I like to call them cheater croissants, because we are starting with puff pastry dough.
We roll it out, fill it with chocolate, roll it up again and bake it. It's delicious.
It's the perfect appetizer or dessert in a pinch.
Yeah! They fly off the plate. People love them. If you didn't like chocolate, I don't know why you wouldn't).
If you don't like chocolate you could add ham and cheese, you could do jam and cream cheese
There are so many options. Whatever you love in pastries, put that in this recipe and you are going to be great.
Let's go make it!
Start with store-bought puff pastry dough.
Thaw and then carefully unfold a sheet on a floured work surface.
You can see that our dough is still little cold — that's why we are being really
careful when working with it.
Grab a rolling pin and roll out to a large square — about 16-inches across.
We like to measure to make sure we aren't too far off.
A ruler makes your life much easier on this one.
Use a knife or my favorite tool for this — a pizza cutter.
Then cut the square into 16 small triangles.
They don't need to be perfect, just close.
On to the chocolate — you can use whatever you like.
We love dark chocolate, so that's what we are using here.
Place a small mound of chocolate onto the wider end of each triangle.
Then roll it up and place seam-side down so that the tip of the triangle is tucked underneath.
Just before placing onto a baking sheet, shape into a crescent.
Whisk an egg with a splash of water then brush the tops of each croissant — this will make
the tops shiny when they are baked.
And now all you need to do is bake!
Bake them until golden brown.
And that's it, quick and easy croissants filled with warm chocolate.

I tried Googling it but nope.

Because of that, I had to manually find Minecraft PE's world limit which Factually really
fun.
We are not going to go straight there because that will be boring.
Instead, we will take a tour and we will go little by little, approaching the Minecraft's

So first, let's go to 100 thousand blocks away from the spawn.
You can still play minecraft here but it's a little bit annoying with this jitteriness.
But still... this is NOTHING compared to what I am about to show you guys.
So now i am 7 million blocks away from the x axis and we will keep increasing our x axis.
It looks like as you go farther from spawn along the x axis then it is really hard to
move along the x axis but you still have no problem moving along the z axis.
So this thing happens.
Zombies' walking speed is not fast enough to break the "invisible x axis barrier" but
player's speed is still enough.
Now I changed my x coordinates to the 2^23rd power, which is 2 multiplied by 23 times aka
8 million 388 thousand 608.
This is where I found the ghost block and that is what I call it.
When I pass this limit, then the ground was not solid.
Also, tree saplings and other thin blocks acts very weird.
This is one cool thing I found.
If I place a sapling on the 2^23rd powerth block then the tree get's placed on (2^23rd
- 1) th block, and it's half the size!
This was a really interesting discovery.
Also, if I place a sapling over the 2^23rd block, then they becomes 2D, and 2 blocks
makes a pair and it overlaps the tree saplings so it looks like there's 1 saplings every
2 blocks even if I plant them on every blocks.
This is what happens if I change my z coordinates to 2^23rd power too.
The fun has just begun.
Now what if I teleport to the 2^24th power block, which is 16 million blocks away from
the spawn.
If I go there, then the blocks start to alternate between water and air.
These lines are perpendicular from the x axis and that's because I moved away along the
x axis from the spawn.
If I were to move along the y axis and reach this limit, then these lines will form perpendicular
to the y axis.
But what if I move out from spawn along the x and z coordinates both equaling to 2^24th
power?
I tried it and it forms this checkered pattern just as I expected.
Let's go a little bit more.
I set my x coordinates to 2^25th power and it looks like another change in rendering
has happened.
So it looks like this crazy stuffs happens every 2 to the xth power where x is an integer.
Now it completely removed the water waves, aka lines, and it revealed its bottom layer
of blocks, and… that's what I think it is.
If I go to x and z coordinates, 2^25th power blocks away from spawn, then where the new
pattern overlaps, there's nothing on it.
Maybe it over overlaps and it completely destroys it.
And then I teleported myself to 2 to the 26th power away from the spawn which is 67 million
blocks away.
The lines got 2 times wider than before.
Nothing too much about it so let's skip the next few and let's jump to the 2^32th
power which is the 32 bit integer limit and it is over 2 billion.
I tried teleporting myself to that coordinates but nope.
Minecraft PE doesn't allow any number bigger than 1 billion in a command, so I made a mod
that can teleport myself and I ran it on my phone.
Still no luck.
I think my phone ran out of memory or something.
So I went back to my computer and launched up Minecraft windows 10 edition again.
Then I had an idea.
If I were to add the coordinates then I will be able to reach 2 billion and more, so I
tried it.
This is what it looks like at 999 million blocks away along the x axis from the spawn.
The rain particles gathered in a line for some reason.
Everything is weird here.
I slowly went to the 32 bit integer limit.
Now I am at 2 billion 147 million blocks away from spawn.
I added exactly 483 thousand blocks but I got extra 64 blocks.
From there, I added 600 more which is still less than the 32 bit integer limit but I crashed.
I tried adding 1 to it.
Surprisingly, the number DID NOT changed.
I believe there's an interval here where you can only travel to specific x coordinates,
and if I enter a number, then it rounds up or down to that interval.
So what happened before is I believe Minecraft rounded that number up and made me travel
pass the 32 bit integer limit which caused minecraft pe to crash.
Then I found the most bizarre thing I've ever seen in Minecraft.
I spotted a village house far from where I was standing.
Or flying.
I speculated that 2D plane is one of its x coordinate interval where you only can travel
to.
I saw another structure 2 X-intervals away and it looks like a witch's house.
I then realized the only structures visible in this area are naturally spawned buildings,
and everything was in 2D.
I felt like i was in another game similar to minecraft but in 2D.
So in conclusion, Minecraft's world limit is 2 billion 147 million 483 thousand 647
in each directions, so it's 4 billion total in each directions, but there's nothing
much here and you can't even interact with any of the blocks…
Lastly, just before I end off this video, I want to mention something very weird.
This video was taken at coordinates 0, -10 thousand, 0.
And this was taken at coordinates 2billion, -10 thousand, 0.
They look same right?
Yeah.
it's supposed to be.
If not, then..
Yeah.
But this video was taken in between those coordinates which was taken at 10 million,
-10 thousand, and 0.
I have no idea why that happened.
The sky color looks darker than both of the coordinates.
Maybe it was the weather?....
So I made another world but the results were still same…

Ok, so how do you Translate?
Well, #1 is please follow the instructions that were give in QTZ1124-A.
That was for Transcribing.
When you Transcribe, you both have to change the WORDS,
And you have to change the TIMES.
Now here in TRANSLATING, the only difference is
You really should NOT have to worry about the TIMES,
You just have to worry about the WORDS.!
So it's really a lot less work to Translate a video that has already been Transcribed.
So look at the screen, and here is HOW you get there.
And one more thing that you DO have, that was NOT available in Transcribing,
Was….. the Auto-Translate button!!
So click that button, and wait a few seconds, and hopefully you are almost done !
So all you have to do now is go back through the document,
And correct any errors that were made during the Auto-Translation.
At that point you are done.
However….you are NOT done !
Because it is useless… unless you change the Title and Description.
And for that…..you are still in the same screen,
And you simply click the upper-most left-hand corner,
Where it says "Title and Description".
And here you also have the option of using the Auto-Translate button.
And when you are all done, simply hit "Submit Contribution".
Now if you are not done, and you want to work on it later,
Simply hit the "Exit" Button, and we'll come back to that in just a few second here.
And if you want to just throw it away and start over,
Click on "Discard Drafts".
And when you are finished, the computer screen may not be in the language that you want.

My name is Teto Wilson, and I'm the owner
of Wilson's Image Barbers & Stylists.
We're located at the corner of Broadway
and Penn in North Minneapolis. I've been a
barber for, oh lord, 21 years now.
It's really an unexplainable bond that
customers have with their barbers. I've
gotten, like, lifelong friends from just
coming in, visiting me, getting a haircut,
they like my service, we talk, you know
we laugh, or whatever, and it becomes, it
becomes a bond. It goes back to history;
barbers have always been trusted
messengers in the African-American
community. They're just like, almost like
ministers, you know. If you come into the
barber shop, you kind of reveal a
whole bunch of stuff that you don't
reveal elsewhere. You probably would tell
a barber more stuff than you would tell a doctor
because you have that kind of
relationship. The Clippers n' Curls
project, the over overarching view is
that we're going to try to reduce high
hypertension within our community.
This particular project is really designed to
get into the barbershops who are
trusted messengers to, to talk with their
clients, who are generally
African-American men and women, and to
give them information that will
hopefully begin to decrease the
morbidity rate in terms of our
community. I think it's really innovative
for health professionals to want to use
barbershops and beauty salons to be able
to get people to, you know, understand their
health. The reason why it's such an easy
decision for me to have the machine in
the shop, for a few different reasons, a
lot of times people have issues, for
whatever reason, with going to doctors, or
whatever, so a lot of times they may not
get their blood pressure readings as
frequently as needed. Having it here in the
shop, I can easily convince a person, you
know, "Hey while you waiting to get your
hair cut," or if it's a lady getting her
hair styled, you know, "hey why don't you go
over and get a blood pressure read."
Part of the reason why we we train the
barbers is so that they have some
knowledge of stroke, heart attacks, things like
that. How it's related to the blood
pressure. And then we go through a
training explaining pretty much what
high blood pressure is, on what it can do,
why it's important to check your blood
pressure. We're not doctors, but we learn
how to direct people, you know what I mean.
Once they get that reading... what to do
about it. We were at our barber shop in
South Minneapolis called "Fades of Gray,"
and we had a young man come in and get
his blood pressure checked, and it was,
like, it was really ridiculous numbers.
Like 200 and something over a buck 30, or
something to that effect. We immediately
had him go to the hospital, and he came
back and thanked us for the services
that we have provided him because he was
headed down a dead-end street,
pretty much, if he hadn't got that in
check. I think what makes, what makes Clippers
n' Curls successful really is the fact
that we brought our partners to the
table, and we asked them what was
important for them, what was their bottom
line. We asked them what would be a
win-win for them, and what we found out
was that we all have the same kind of
goals, which was to make our community
healthier. It's not only do we have stories,
but we also have statistics. We have
demographics. We collect information. We
can do it by working together, and that's
really what we're trying to show and
prove every day that we can, we can
actually make a difference.

Top 5 Pokemon Ash Shouldn't Have Released - Duration: 9:37.
Hey guys, HDvee here!
In today's top five video we'll be taking a look at the Top 5 Pokemon Ash Shouldn't
Have Released.
It's fair to say that over the years, Ash has caught some pretty strong Pokemon and
has acquired some pretty formidable teams.
However, he has also parted ways with a few of his best Pokemon, and whether you feel
like it was a good or bad idea for him to get rid of a certain Pokemon, he did it anyway.
I don't know if he's trying to hinder his chances of becoming a league champion
by doing this, but who knows what's going on in the head of that young ten year old
Pokemon trainer.

Starting things off and claiming the number five spot in today's top five video is Pidgeot.
Ash caught Pidgeot as a Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest, in Ash Catches a Pokémon.
Having previously failed to capture its pre-evolution, Pidgey, and a Spearow, Ash was prepared to
fight the Pidgeotto before attempting a capture.
However, his Caterpie was easily overwhelmed by the Flying-type Pokémon.
After recalling Caterpie, Ash sent out his Pikachu.
Pikachu used Thunder Shock to weaken Pidgeotto, allowing Ash to capture it.
In Pallet Party Panic, desperate to help its fellow birds, Pidgeotto evolved into Pidgeot
and attacked the Fearow with Gust and Quick Attack.
It then led the other Pidgey and Pidgeotto to defeat Fearow.
After their victory, Ash released Pidgeot to guard the wild Pidgey so that Fearow would
not return for a sneak attack.
Ash promised to return for it after he was finished in the Orange Islands, a sentiment
that he still hoped he could do in Fighting Flyer with Fire, where it appeared in a flashback.
However, Ash has yet to fulfill said promise.
With that being said, Ash kinda needs to go get his Pidgeot seeing as it's been waiting
for him for so long.
It was annoying seeing Ash release Pidgeot because he had only used the final evolution
of Pidgey for one battle, and that's a pretty poor ending for a Pokemon that had been with
Ash for the whole of Kanto and so for all of these reasons, Pidgeot takes the number
five spot in today's top five video.
Coming in at the number four spot in today's top five video is Butterfree.
Team Rocket attempted to steal the Butterfree again by getting back in the air with their
helicopter.
Ash and his friends follow them with their rented balloon and they soon find them.
As the pink Butterfree watches, Ash's Butterfree flies towards Team Rocket's helicopter with
Pikachu on his back.
Pikachu jumps on the helicopter and destroys the helicopter with his ThunderShock attack,
sending Team Rocket down into the darkness.
Having witnessed the determination of Ash's Butterfree, the pink Butterfree shows her
new love by making her own proposal dance.
Naturally, Ash's Butterfree joins the dance.
Back at the cliff, Ash, filled with emotions, bids farewell to the Butterfree couple.
As they fly into the sunset, a flashback of Ash's memories is shown.
Ash remembers first capturing Caterpie, then him evolving into a Metapod and finally into
Butterfree.
He remembers times with Butterfree such as battling Misty's Staryu for the Cascade Badge.
As Misty tells Ash Butterfree is nearly out of sight, he wishes Butterfree good luck.
Everyone watches the sun set as another adventure ends.
I think i can speak for most people when i say i shredded a tear or two when i was a
kid watching this scene, the montage of butterfree's best moments really hits you in the feelings
as you can see how much this Pokemon meant to Ash.
However, being the first Pokemon that Ash ever caught makes you feel that he shouldn't
have released it, but that's Ash Ketchum for you.
For all of these reasons, Ash's Butterfree takes the number four spot in today's top
five video.
Coming in at the number three spot in today's top five video is Lapras.
Ash first met Lapras on Tangelo Island when he and his friends saw it being abused by
three boys who were trying to get it ready to fight the Orange Crew.
Pikachu's Thunder Shock was able to send the trio running.
Tracey examined Lapras and realized it needed help.
He gave Ash medicine to give it while he went to tell Nurse Joy.
However, Lapras refused to take the medicine from Ash.
They then took it to the Pokémon Center, where Nurse Joy explained that Lapras was
afraid of humans.
Soon, Ash gained Lapras's trust after he saved it from Team Rocket.
Later during that episode, Lapras decided to become a part of Ash's team.
In Viva Las Lapras, Ash and his friends found the school that Lapras got separated from.
Ash's Lapras was able to rejoin the school, as well as its mother.
Ash and Lapras went separate ways from that point on.
Ash has already been reunited with Lapras once already in the episode Lapras of Luxury,
during which it was revealed to have matured into an adult.
However, seeing Ash release Lapras was a really emotional scene, especially because we had
seen so much of the Pokemon during the Orange island series seeing as the gang used Lapras
to travel between islands, also, Lapras is a really strong Pokemon and definitely would
have been a great asset to Ash's team for important gym and league battles and so for
all of these reasons, Lapras takes the number three spot in today's top five video.
Coming in at the number two spot in today's video is Ash's Goodra.
Goodra was Ash's first Kalos Pokémon to fully evolve, and was also Ash's first pseudo-legendary
Pokémon, so straight away, you can already see why it's made the list.
Goodra has been used in many tough battles, most notably though would be the battle for
the Voltage Badge.
Ash had Goodra use Rain Dance to cancel out Luxray's Electric Terrain on the battlefield
and cure its paralysis via its Hydration ability.
Although it was hit by Thunder Fang, Wild Charge and Swift, Goodra managed to endure
Luxray's attacks and launched a powerful Bide.
The blast did a huge amount of damage to both Pokemon, but despite this, Luxray was finally
knocked out, giving Ash the victory and earning him the Voltage Badge.
Goodra was also used in the Semi-finals against Sawyer.
It went up against his Slurpuff.
Even though both sides battled hard, Goodra and Slurpuff knocked each other out, resulting
in a double knockout.
Goodra was so strong that it did not lose a single trainer battle until Down to the
Fiery Finish!
In Beyond the Rainbow!
Ash decided that Goodra should stay behind at its homeland when he saw Goodra happy with
its friends and had a tearful goodbye with it, hoping to meet again someday.
I don't know why Ash seem to like releasing his really strong Pokemon, but he's really
making it difficult for himself to win a league.
For all of these reasons, and because Ash is pretty stupid for letting a really powerful
pseudo legendary go, Goodra takes the number two spot in today's top five video.
Finishing things off though and claiming the number one spot in today's top five video
is Ash's Greninja.
Greninja is a Water and Dark-type Pokémon that was owned by Ash and was the first Pokémon
he obtained in the Kalos region and easily became one of his strongest partners.
Greninja battled against Sawyer and his newly evolved Sceptile.
During the battle, he used his special form and defeated Sceptile.
Little did Greninja, Ash and the others know, a trainer named Alain was watching the battle
and witnessed him changing form.
Alain was amazed at Greninja's strength, which was a form that he has never seen before,
and decided to battle Ash to test Greninja's form.
In the battle, Alain Mega Evolved his Charizard while Greninja activates its special form.
Even though Greninja had gained a lot more strength, Greninja wasn't able to keep up
with Mega Charizard X's power and was easily defeated.
This was of course the Ash Greninja form.
Greninja also beat the gym leader Wulfric, rewarding Ash with the Iceberg Badge and qualifying
him to enter the Kalos League.
Later on, Ash entered the Lumiose Conference and used Greninja against Titus and his Altaria.
During the battle, Greninja used his Ash-Greninja form and defeated Altaria, surprising everyone
in the stadium.
Ash's Greninja has been the first and only Pokémon of Ash's that battled a Champion's
ace Pokémon, held its own, even overpowering it and nearly winning.
Releasing possibly his strongest Pokemon rewards Greninja with the number one spot in today's
top five video.
But with that, wraps up this video.
