Find love,
Go against the grain
Through washed out,
Memories
Before we hit rock bottom
Set free,
To find escape
Some rules,
Are meant to break
I know that it's wrong,
But the feeling is so amazing
Don't tell me it's wrong,
Cause the feeling is so amazing
Meet me,
In the darkest place
Among the monsters,
In empty space
You bring the river and I'll bring the fire
Passion keeps heating me up every time
Yeah, everybody says that you're a fool now
Everybody thinks you're gonna let them down
I know that it's wrong,
But the feeling is so amazing
Don't tell me it's wrong,
Cause the feeling is so amazing

Every Credits Scene In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Explained - Duration: 4:27.
By now, most film fans know that when the credits roll on a Marvel Studios movie, the
real fun is about to begin.
That's because Marvel loves to set up future franchise installments with teasers, Easter
eggs, and inside jokes "hidden" in scenes during the credits.
Usually, this means one or two small bits during or after the credits, but with Guardians
of the Galaxy Vol. 2, writer-director James Gunn has taken things to a whole new level
with five — yes, five! — credits scenes.
Some are important, and some are just goofy, but either way, we've got you covered with
explanations for every credits scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
"Who else is gonna do it?"
"Awesome!"
Oh, and just so everyone's on the same page...spoilers ahead.
The Arrow
In the first bonus scene, Yondu's right hand man Kraglin wears his former captain's robotic
fin to try and harness the power of his whistle-controlled arrow.
Of course, it goes horribly wrong.
It looks like a funny scene, but actually this is all a very complicated Easter egg
referencing the ascension of Kang the Conqueror in Avengers Forever #9, and… no, just kidding.
This scene is exactly what it seemed like: a funny one-off joke.
Hey, not every scene has to be filled with secret meaning — okay?
The Original Guardians
Unlike the first credits scene, the second is actually jam-packed with Marvel Comics
lore.
Those Ravagers who show up for Yondu's funeral?
Some of them are actually members of the original Guardians of the Galaxy team from the 1970s
comic books.
Stakar, Martinex, Charlie-27, and Aleta are all original flavor Guardians, while Mainframe
and Krugarr are also important characters in the old school Guardians of the Galaxy
comic book universe.
And considering the big name actors Marvel signed up for the roles, like Sylvester Stallone,
Michelle Yeoh, and Ving Rhames, chances are pretty good we're going to see a lot more
of these guys in future movies.
Even if Stallone doesn't have the best track record with comic book movies.
"Why did you judge me?"
"You killed innocent people."
"The means to an end."
"You started a massacre!"
"I caused a revolution!"
"You betrayed the law!"
"Lawwwwww!"
Adam Warlock
If you were wondering why the people in your theater erupted with screams of pure joy during
the third credits scene, the answer is Adam Warlock, the mystery being inside the metal
cocoon built by the vengeful high priestess, Ayesha.
Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting Warlock's arrival in the movie universe because the
gold-skinned cosmic savior has been a key player in basically every important Thanos
storyline in comics history.
Adam Warlock is Thanos' archenemy, an avatar of life dedicated to stopping Thanos and his
obsession with death.
With Thanos set to finally take center stage in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, fans have
been wondering how Marvel would manage to tell the story without Adam Warlock.
Now we can all finally rest easy — if we can stop freaking out.
I am Groot
The fourth credits scene is pretty much just a self-explanatory joke about Baby Groot growing
up to become Teen Groot.
We're not sure if this means Teen Groot will be in the sequel, or if this is a bridge to
explain why he's all grown up as Adult Groot in the team's next appearance.
But considering this brief clip is funnier than just about any half-hour family sitcom
on primetime television right now, we can't be the only ones hoping ABC develops a Growing
Up Groot spinoff, right?!
Stan the Man
For nearly 20 years now, Stan Lee has been making cameos in Marvel movies.
As a result, a fan theory developed along the way that Stan isn't actually playing different
characters, but instead is a disguised member of the alien race known as The Watchers, who
observe and record stories of mankind without interfering in events.
Now Lee and director James Gunn have confirmed it with a fantastic bit where Stan is telling
a group of Watchers about all the stories he's participated in — which, of course,
are the other Marvel movies.
It further proves what we've known all along: Stan truly is The Man.
"You know, I guess one person can make a difference.
Enough said."

Why Hollywood Won't Cast Aimee Teegarden Anymore - Duration: 4:30.
Chances are, you know Aimee Teegarden as Julie Taylor, the pitch-perfect Texan daughter of
Coach Eric and Tami Taylor on TV's Friday Night Lights.
Since the show went off the air, in 2011, some of its stars have gotten more attention
than others.
Taylor Kitsch is a household name and all-around heartthrob — despite facing his fair share
of disappointments.
Kyle Chandler is living it up on Netflix's Bloodline and in new classics like The Wolf
of Wall Street.
Michael B. Jordan has arrived as a powerhouse of drama and action fare, and Connie Britton's
still running the small screen scene with her musical role on Nashville.
But other members of the show have been conspicuously out of the spotlight since the show went off
the air — Aimee Teegarden in particular.
With so many A-listers flourishing after those Friday Night Lights dimmed, why isn't Teegarden
scoring a touchdown in her career right now?
Prom-bomb
After impressing as the angsty screen-teen, Teegarden landed a starring vehicle in Disney's
Prom, a bland barely-there movie which hit the box office with a thud.
No one's clamoring for a sequel, and Teegarden's a casualty of its failure.
Her output since that movie has been a lot less cinematic, with TV movies like Beneath
the Darkness, Beautiful Wave, and 2016's little-seen My Bakery in Brooklyn.
While there's no one saying she won't get there eventually, don't expect to see her
top-billed for anything high-profile anytime soon.
Looking for her niche
Before her breakthrough role on Friday Night Lights, Teegarden was pretty much an unknown
in Hollywood.
And after five years of shooting on-location throughout Texas, she's still trying to figure
out her place in Los Angeles.
She's been dipping her toes into both film and television.
She scored a leading role on the CW's short-lived Star-Crossed that didn't work out.
And she also won a role in the horror sequel Rings — that sank like a stone.
However, she saw some success in the Netflix comedy series The Ranch with a two-episode
turn, so maybe her country niche has been there right in front of her all along.
Hey, maybe she can head over to Nashville and belt it out with her former TV mom.
Unfortunate forces
In her late-twenties, Teegarden has found herself at a crossroads that so many other
actresses before her have faced: too mature to play kids anymore, yet still young enough
to have difficulty transitioning into adult roles.
Not that she hasn't tried, of course.
As Ella Benjamin on ABC's short-lived show Notorious, Teegarden played a newbie at a
law firm, looking to climb the ranks.
Career-wise, it's a step in the right direction — and she's quite good on the show.
But neither her role, nor the show itself, has managed to make much of an impression,
and, as of the making of this video, its future at ABC is uncertain.
Low profile
After her long-running role on Friday Night Lights, Teegarden didn't appear on TV for
a little while, and her next appearance in a series wasn't on TV at all.
The result was Aim High, a two-season web series of roughly 10-minute episodes revolving
around a high school spy played by Jackson Rathbone.
In it, Teegarden played his punk-loving paramour, Amanda Miles.
Even though the pseudo-show was produced by a subsidiary of Warner Bros. and streamed
on Facebook in promising fashion, it still didn't have the furthest reach and failed
to spawn any kind of digital phenomenon.
Memorable...but also not
Even though Friday Night Lights went off the air in 2011, people still associate Teegarden
with her role on the show.
It's both the blessing and the curse of giving such an indelible performance: you're always
remembered for it, and yet you can't quite escape it yet.
At the same time, though, she's not exactly the most recognizable face from the show,
either.
The actress admitted that even fans of Friday Night Lights have a tough time recognizing
her in person, considering she started the show as such a youngster.
She told Fox News, "It's funny.
It takes people a hot second [to recognize me], because when I was in Friday Night Lights,
I had super blonde hair and bangs, and I was 16 when I started that show."
So, basically she's memorable for her breakthrough role — and yet not memorable enough at the
same time.
That's a tough line to walk.
She better call Coach Taylor in for one of his pep talks before planning her next career play.
"Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose."
"Can't lose!"

Why Hollywood Won't Cast Jesse Metcalfe Anymore - Duration: 6:33.
You might recognize Jesse Metcalfe as the hot gardener on Desperate Housewives, or the
star basketball player who got all the girls in John Tucker Must Die.
But it's been awhile since Metcalfe has been blazing up the big screen.
He's managed to get the occasional small screen or B-movie role since his last big part, but
none have had the same impact on viewers as his breakthrough part on Housewives.
So, what's happened to his career since then?
Here are a few of the reasons why Hollywood won't cast Jesse Metcalfe anymore.
Soap opera start
It's easy to picture Metcalfe successfully playing the dangerous yet sexy boy next door
that girls fall in love with and women lust over, and that's pretty close to what he did
to break into the industry before his stint on Desperate Housewives.
Metcalfe was a student at NYU when he snagged a role on the Spanish soap opera Passions,
playing the part of Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald for five years.
His character Miguel was the youngest son of one of the main characters who came to
town, rarely wore a shirt, and quickly became the focus of a love triangle.
While many Hollywood actors and actresses get their start on daytime television and
are able to break out of the soap opera stereotype, Metcalfe's characters kind of started to blend
together.
He eventually made the decision to leave the show to focus on his role on Desperate Housewives,
a decision that temporarily shot him to the top of his career.
Mixed reviews
Thanks to the Desperate Housewives popularity boost, in 2006 Metcalfe was cast to lead up
the teen comedy John Tucker Must Die.
In the movie, he played the role of the hottest guy in school, able to date multiple girls
at the same time by purposely seeing girls from different cliques.
Financially speaking, the movie was seen as successful, but even though the numbers showed
a profit, most movie reviews weren't positive.
Metcalfe may have also seared the image of himself strutting around in a lace thong into
viewer's minds, leaving very little to the imagination that might get fans back to the
theater to see more of him.
Totally typecast
Like most actors and actresses who snag those kind-of-memorable teen roles, Metcalfe is
inextricably linked to his Desperate Housewives alter ego John Rowland, the hunky teenage
gardener who has an affair with a married housewife.
Portraying the fantasies of women and teenage boys everywhere, the show was adored by viewers
and stayed on the air for years, giving fans a hilarious insight into the lives of wealthy
housewives.
Even his turn as John Tucker couldn't shake the ab-tacular image he'd developed on the
show, though, and there's a lot of competition in that muscly pretty boy arena.
(Cheers)
Metcalfe took a stab at working on a few horror films to turn the tide of his Tinseltown status,
but those wound up being straight-to-video pics that got slaughtered by critics, too.
Bad publicity
After Metcalfe's first season on Desperate Housewives, he had too much time on his hands.
Even though he continued to appear on the show, he wasn't required on set as often,
which freed up time to party.
The media criticized his habits, even though he was often being paid to make appearances
at these clubs, and would question his sexuality, as well as claim he'd gained too much weight
to be on screen anymore.
Even though Metcalfe claimed he'd hardly gained 10 pounds, the nasty headlines still had a
drastic affect on his career.
He told People, "I had casting directors going, 'He looks a little puffy.'
It was a very clear example of how bad publicity can keep you away from work."
With a career seemingly on hold, Metcalfe got sucked into the partying world, even admitting
to dabbling in substances other than alcohol.
In 2007, Metcalfe went to rehab for alcohol abuse after being spotted pounding drinks
at a bar at 10 in the morning.
"I got a little off course.
You know, I was kind of partying a little too much."
Although the actor claimed he was ready to tackle his boozy behaviors head on, sobriety
didn't seem to last very long for Metcalfe.
He continued to make headlines afterwards that would imply he couldn't get his alcohol
consumption under control.
He was accused of assaulting a photographer after leaving a club in London, punching the
man in the face, resulting in a bloody nose and a police report.
Then, a few months later, he was caught on tape getting into a physical altercation after
an event in Los Angeles.
It was reported by People that Metcalfe was punched by the boyfriend of a woman he'd been
supposedly hitting on all night after drinking.
Everything came to a head in 2008, when Metcalfe's never-ending party nearly ended his life.
The actor reportedly fell 40 feet off a balcony and down several flights of stairs at a party
in Monaco, knocking himself unconscious.
Even though the actor has admitted to drinking that night, he said alcohol had nothing to
do with the incident saying, "It was really just a freak accident.
I went to sit back on this railing and just slipped off.
I landed on my feet and I broke my leg.
I got lucky."
Nowadays, his party appearances tend to be a little more low-key than before.
Returning to his roots
A reboot of the popular prime time soap opera Dallas offered Metcalfe a chance to start
over on the small screen in 2012.
As one of his first roles where he mostly keeps his clothes on, the first season of
the show was a hit.
Metcalfe recognized this as a huge opportunity, saying in an interview with Canada.com, "This
is my first more complex, adult character and this is really the first opportunity I've
really had in television to sink my teeth into a character; to show people what I can
really do as an actor, and that was really welcome."
Unfortunately, his success didn't last long.
TNT chose to cancel the show after just three seasons and kill off his character in the
finale.
How he can change it around
It seems that Metcalfe has finally found sobriety, which can certainly contribute to him turning
his career around.
He told Fox411 that faith is important to him and gives credit for his ability to overcome
his struggle with sobriety to his relationship with God.
Giving up alcohol has not only kept Metcalfe away from negative headlines but has also
helped him significantly improve his personal life, as he is now happily engaged to fashion
blogger Cara Santana.
It's also part of why he landed a steady role in Hallmark's Chesapeake Shores.
Additionally, Metcalfe has been able to snag more serious parts in films, including God's
Not Dead 2 and Escape Plan 2.
By taking on roles in dramas, Metcalfe might just be able to able to spread his wings as
an actor.
Hey, if Zac Efron could bounce back, so can Metcalfe.

GOP's McCarthy Trump 'has changed the course' of America - Duration: 3:32.
GOP's McCarthy Trump 'has changed the course' of America
by Paul Bedard
Sweeping aside Democratic and media criticisms that President Trump is a weak and disengaged
leader, the No. 2 House Republican said Thursday that the new president has with unusual speed
collected several domestic and foreign victories that should be celebrated.
"This president has changed the course," House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said.
"Think about what you just had in the last eight years, to change the course this quickly,
I give him a great amount of success," he told a gathering of the centrist Republican
Ripon Society.
"I mean he's really changed the course.
Some of my advice to him he works so many hours and so fast is that, 'You should
celebrate some of the things you've done so the rest of the country can see it, too,'"
he added on a day when the House overcame earlier squabbles and passed a partial repeal
of Obamacare, a top Trump and GOP 2016 campaign pledge.
McCarthy portrayed an engaged president that is at odds with many of the media accounts
of his administration.
"I've never seen a president and a vice president engaged so much and making so many calls and
so many meetings.
I mean, yesterday I walk in and the president's calling me and he's telling me the names of
the people he thinks I'm best at getting [to help approve repeal of Obamacare], now I agree
with you [Trump].
He is engaged, and he's talking about the policies...this is a man who's engaged all
the way through," said the California lawmaker.
He also pointed to the president's foreign policy moves and his crackdown on Obama-era
regulations as wins.
"You've watched countries around the world celebrate his leadership.
Yeah, they're some who've complained: North Korea, Iran and [Russian President Vladimir]
Putin.
Those are the people I want complaining about the United States of America," said McCarthy.
And he joined with some in the White House to dismiss Democratic claims of victory in
the budget vote to declare that Trump and the GOP also got big wins, including over
$1 billion for border security.
"And I think it really shows the strength of where this president is.
He's getting victories, he realizes you live in a in country where you don't get 100 percent
of what you want, but you set a course and you grab and you continue forward," said McCarthy.
The result is progress, he added, dismissing failing 100 Day report cards.
"I don't think America has seen the real actions of Donald Trump.
And the idea that we're going to grade him on 100 days?
They haven't given him his full cabinet in that time.
No other president has had to wait that long.
What he's been able to move through and, really, the engagement in the first 100 days
I would look at in terms of foreign policy, because that's truly the president's realm
that they can do without having them to wait on Congress and the Senate.
You look at the CRA's [regulatory repeal], the others only had one.
I mean he's really changed the course."

Powerful May Energies The End Of Karmic Contracts And Break Through Resistance - Duration: 8:35.
Powerful May Energies The End Of Karmic Contracts And Break Through Resistance
By consciousreminder
We are in a unique transitional period right now, individually and as a whole.
During times of great transition, the mind often goes into survival mode, because everything
around is changing.
This can bring up a lot of fear.
The fear is a sign of resistance.
The mind is trying to hold onto the past stories and patterns it has identified with and grown
comfortable with, to keep itself feeling safe and protected.
This tendency of the mindof resisting change by trying to hold onto the pastis at its
peak right now.
This is bringing to the surface many unresolved imbalances we may still be holding in our
body, mind, and emotions.
Yet when this resistance comes up, it is a clear confirmation that big breakthroughs
are just around the corner, if we open ourselves up to them.
Breaking Through
Many breakthroughs in our path of growth begin in what we see as a breakdown of mind, body,
or emotions.
Of course, our Spirit never views us as broken in any way.
It sees only wholeness and perfection in us.
This is why breakdowns are never an experience of the Spirit.
They are an experience of the mind.
They happen when the mind feels it has reached a tipping pointthe uncomfortable realization
that the old thoughts and methods are no longer serving us.
The breakdown comes from the shock of realizing that change must happen, even though that
feels very uncomfortable to the mind.
It resents the internal shifts that come with growth, because it has been trained to think
of change as something that will take away the identity it has created for itself.
It fears no longer being needed in the way it usually functions.
Yet there always seem to be people who know how to embrace change, who arent troubled
by the shifts the mind must make.
They seem to be able to reinvent themselves, to evolve to an even greater version of who
they are.
How are they able to grow without struggle, and to embrace change happily?
Think of someone you know who takes on shifts and changes easily, letting things flow without
resistance or fear.
These free spirits arent attached to the old familiar ways, so they are able
to allow change without feeling threatened by it.
Notice how you feel when you are around someone like this.
You probably relax more, as you experience the easy flow of this persons energy.
You can see that they view life more through their heart than through their mind.
Unlike the mind, our Spirit isnt put off by change.
Its fueled and excited by it.
In fact, it thrives on change!
Yet its not unusual for most of us to feel butterflies in our stomachs as we consider
a big change, or deal with a new situation.
This isnt actually fear, or a warning about some upcoming event.
Its our Spirit dancing with excitement, letting us know that we are moving forward
in new and empowering ways.
Of course, the mind interprets the butterflies to mean nervousness or fear.
Because it in its limited way, it doesnt really grasp whats happening.
When that happens, just speak quietly to your mind, to let it know that those feelings are
a sign from your Spirit that its creating a wonderful new experience for you.
Let it know that it can release all fear.
That just isnt needed anymore.
The energies that came in during the month of March have been nudging us to go well beyond
our comfort zone.
If we didnt understand that this was happening, we may have had times of feeling lost, confused,
and at a point of experiencing some sort of emotional, mental, or physical breakdown.
Yet breakdowns can lead us into amazing moments of growth.
In fact, a breakdown really just means dismantling limiting patterns that no longer serve our
higher good.
We are now at the point where we are no longer able to find comfort in limiting patterns.
This may feel like a crisis, but it is the kind of crisis that births a whole outlook.
It can be one of the most spiritual experiences we can have, because in that crisis moment,
we have a chance to reassess our lives and create a new and higher reality for ourselves.
If were ready to learn from the breakdown, the next chapter of our lives can look much
brighter as we experience more of our spirits power and our own higher selves.
But why are these breakdowns happening now?
The End of Karmic Contracts
A big reason why everything seems a bit more challenging than usual now, is because this
is a time in which the old karmic contracts, vows, and commitments we have made over many
lifetimes, whether consciously or not, are coming to the surface so that we can become
aware of them and dissolve them fully.
Confirmations that our old karmic contracts are expiring can include inner nudges that
encourage us to:
Let go of our current job or business ventures
Align fully with our life purpose Take better care of our body, mind, and
Spirit Step fully into our power
Move to a new location Release unhealthy relationships
Start a new job, business, project, or hobby
Make peace with ourselves, others, and the Universe
Accept a higher level of abundance into our lives
Time for Completion
A completion is a sacred time in our lives that signifies profound closure.
It is the end of an old chapter, and the beginning of a new one.
Completion is not about getting rid of anything or anyone from our lives with force.
Its not about fixing anything.
Its actually about understanding that we have come to a point in our lives where certain
contracts, vows, and obligations weve had with certain people, places, experiences,
and ourselves, have been fulfilled.
Completion means that we have chosen to not run away or avoid something that felt uncomfortable
or scary to us, but are facing whatever challenges needed to be faced full-on.
We have learned our lessons, and are no longer in need of recreating that experience in our
lives.
Completion can even occur among Soul family members and Soul mates.
These seem to be the hardest for most people, because we can remember feeling so connected
to these beautiful Spirits at one point.
When a completion happens on a Soul level, a compassionate love still remains.
If anything less than compassion remains, completion has not yet fully been achieved.
If you are someone who is experiencing a completion at this time, know that you are exactly where
you are meant to be on your journey.

Thibaut Pinot's Lapierre Xelius SL - Duration: 2:31.
- Fresh off a pre Giro d'Italia training ride
this is 2017 Giro favourite
Thibaut Pinot's Lapierre Xelius SL.
Pinot rides for the FDJ team
and unlike the rest of the team
he gets his very own custom model.
(upbeat music)
Starting at the top of the bike,
like many other world tour teams,
FDJ are sponsored by Fizik for their saddles
and Pinot is riding a Fizik Arione.
Pinot's Fizik saddle is attached
to a Pro carbon fibre seat post.
His stem is also Pro, that's aluminium,
and his handlebars are carbon fibre Pro Vibe bars.
Attached to the handlebars
Pinot has a Garmin out front mount,
and then he has got, like the rest of the FDJ team,
the FDJ are one of Shimano's favoured testings,
the brand new Shimano Dura-Ace group set for 2017.
Pinot's pedals are the new Shimano Dura-Ace
which are significantly different in appearance
from the old ones with way less metal.
The one deviation from the full new Dura-Ace set
that Pinot has is the chain set.
He's got an SRM powermeter
and that's attached to the older style
of Shimano Dura-Ace cranks.
Chain rings are 53/39
and he's got an 11 through to 28 cassette.
As Pinot is a climbing rider and a GC contender
it's no surprise to see him favour
the lighter but still very aero C40 wheels
over a slightly more aerodynamic C60,
although it will be interesting to see
if as the more aero wheels, like the C60s
become lighter and lighter
GC riders and climbers begin to favour those
especially bearing in mind
the speed that those guys ride up on climbs.
Brakes are also supplied by Shimano.
He's got a direct mount brake up front
and a standard mount break at the rear.
Bottom cages are supplied by Elite
and they have a couple of blue touches
just to match the general theme
of Pinot's bike and the rest of the FDJ bikes.
And on Pinot's bike
he has got blue bottle cage bolts
which suggest to me that they're titanium, so super light.
Everything is about weight saving on this bike.
Well, I can't quite explain the custom paint job
on Pinot's bike.
I do really like it and it does stand out
from the bikes at the rest of the Peloton
and the rest of his team are riding
as befits a leader of Pinot's status.
Before we close this video
it's time for the free hub sound test.
(spinning)
It's quite a quiet one.

This is amazing. As in the old days, but even better.
This is all quite cool here...

Are you crazy? What are you doing?
Do you make it out of the car, old man?
I have to check whether the splitter is still okay…
You did all that with this beautiful car!
Of course, you saw that it worked out!
This is how to let a DTM car fly.
I really thought that you'd go crazy now. - But did you see how much grip the car had?
Thank you for the challenge.

The adventures of Finn and Jake through the incredible Land of Ooo are generally pretty
fun, but Adventure Time isn't afraid to get pretty deep and tragic, whether it's about
Finn's lost parents, or well, his arm literally getting ripped off.
Few moments reach as deep as the episode, "I Remember You."
Marceline, an ancient vampire in the form of a teenage girl, is constantly annoyed by
the princess-stealing Ice King, but it isn't until now that we really know why.
At one point long ago, the Ice King had rescued Marceline from a post-apocalyptic wasteland,
and they were best friends.
The sadness unfolds as Marceline reads a series of notes that the Ice King wrote to her before
he completely lost his mind, which are basically an apology for losing his mind, all set to
music.
"Please forgive me for whatever I do..
When i don't remember you."
"Wow?
I wrote that?
Hot stuff"
He no longer remembers what they once meant to one another.
For anyone who's ever dealt with an aging grandparent, expect the waterworks to flow
pretty hard.
Futurama: Fry's dog
While Futurama was definitely a comedy, it never shied away from creating stories that
were genuinely emotional, whether it was Fry's undying love for Leela, or Leela's search
for her parents.
Few stories hit as hard as Fry's love for his pup, and vice versa.
In "Jurassic Bark," Fry finds the fossilized remains of his dog, Seymour, and asks the
Professor to revive him.
Just before the process begins, Fry learns that Seymour lived to a ripe old age of 15
and died of natural causes, 12 whole years after Fry disappeared.
Choosing not to revive Seymour, Fry smashes the Professor's machine
"Oh sure, smash the smart guy's machine."
and makes peace with Seymour's passing.
Fry believes that Seymour had forgotten him over twelve years.
This is when the audience really gets an emotional gut-punch.
We see Seymour sitting in front of Fry's pizza place, year after year, waiting for him to
return, as Connie Francis' "I Will Wait For You" plays, until he presumably lays down
for the last time.
And you thought you could watch a science fiction comedy about an idiot pizza boy and
a belching, larcenous robot without shedding a tear, didn't you?
Rugrats: Chuckie's mom
Between the morals, educational plots, and misunderstood words for kids to learn from
and enjoy, Rugrats hit young viewers with an incredibly hard episode about Mother's
Day.
Why is that so tough?
Well, because Chuckie's mom died shortly after he was born.
"You don't gots a mom, do you Chuckie?
"Nope."
"How come?"
"I don't know.
Just don't gots one."
After the children are thrown into a dark closet by Angelica, they find a photograph
of Chuckie's mom.
His dad is clearly saddened just looking at the photo and ultimately decides to talk to
his son about his mother.
They find a diary with a beautiful poem written from a dying mother to her son, and Chuckie
learns that his mother planted the flowers in the garden and takes his friends there
to show them.
"See guys?
I do have a mom!
She's right here in the flowers…"
Thanks, Nickelodeon, for making us weep like babies.
The Simpsons: Homer's mom
There have been more than 600 episodes of The Simpsons, though few were more heart-wrenching
than watching Homer finally reunite with his long-lost mother.
The episode "Mother Simpson" introduced us to Mona Simpson.
I almost always spoil the moment."
"I'm sorry."
Until this point, Homer had believed his mother had been dead for 27 years, but it turned
out she was on the run from the law.
In 1969, she participated in a plot to destroy Mr. Burns' germ warfare laboratory, and to
keep her family safe, she felt she needed to run.
Her story comes out when she's sighted by Burns, who calls in the FBI to finally take
her out.
Once again, Mona has to run away from her son.
"At least this time I'm awake for your goodbye."
For a show that parents once argued should be banned for being inappropriate, this episode
took a turn and showed the world how heartwarming a bunch of dysfunctional yellow boneheads
actually could be.
Regular Show: Finale
Many fans of Regular Show had spent six years growing up and sympathizing with the show's
main characters: a slacker bluejay and raccoon who loved video games and were stuck in a
dead-end job at a park.
Peppered with 1980s references throughout, it was clearly a show meant for late 20-somethings.
So when the show ended after eight seasons, a little part of every viewer died also.
After being trapped in space for a season, the series ends with the death of Pops, the
show's most unassuming and positive character, sacrificing his life to save the park and
his friends.
The crew returns to Earth after three years, reunites with their families, memorializes
Pops with a statue, and everyone eventually decides that it's time to move on.
Despite sharing a huge portion of their lives together at the park, everyone moves in different
directions.
Because that's what being an adult is all about, like it or not: people dying, moving
away from your friends, and reinventing everything you thought to be true.
On the plus side, everyone seems pretty content, and they're all still friends.
On the other hand, Regular Show basically told all of its viewers that they couldn't
stay young forever, and that totally sucks.
And the kicker?
The whole ending scene was set to David Bowie's "Heroes", reminding us of the death of one
of our real-life heroes.
Hey Arnold: Mr. Hyunh's daughter
When a goofy show mostly known for a kid who looks like he's half-human-half-football makes
you think you're actually watching a documentary about the Vietnam war, THAT'S as real as a
cartoon can get.
That's what viewers got with the Hey Arnold episode "Arnold's Christmas".
Mr. Hyunh recalls the story of his life in Vietnam, as a montage of imagery depicts the
ongoing war.
As the Americans begin to pull out of Saigon, Mr. Hyunh gives up his baby girl to an American
soldier, hoping she'll be safe.
There's no way of knowing if he'll ever see her again and, as he recounts the tale, it's
clear he hasn't.
After an epic quest by Arnold, who himself is without parents, and a nudge from his affectionate
bully Helga, Mr. Hyunh finally meets his daughter for the first time since they were separated.
If that doesn't make you shed even a single tear, you truly are a cold, unfeeling monster.
Family Guy: Brian's death
For a series that favors fart jokes and incredibly large amounts of vomit, it's rare that a scene
in Family Guy takes a turn towards sadness.
In a surprise episode during its 12th season, Brian gets hit by a car and is killed.
Frankly, there was nothing funny about this episode.
We see the beloved dog get mowed down in the street while his best buddy Stewie watches.
Hard to joke about that, really.
Brian dies on a vet's table after saying goodbye,
You … you've given me a wonderful life.
I love you all."
and there are no jokes to be found.
The subsequent scenes of the family dealing with the loss are heartbreaking.
Fans were upset, and it was anyone's guess whether or not Brian would somehow return
to the show.
Of course, he came back rather quickly thanks to some time travel shenanigans, and Family
Guy went right back into its usual gross-out humor, but it's still amazing that the show
proved it can be human when it wants to be, even if it was just once.

4 Soulmate Relationships That Guide Your Life - Duration: 10:22.
4 Soulmate Relationships That Guide Your Life
Most of us define a Soul Mate as a perfect romantic partner that will fulfill every aspect
of our being.
Soul Mates are in sync with us, they are supportive, sexy, intelligent, funny and will be part
of our happily ever after story. The truth is, life is not quite that simple.
WHAT EXACTLY IS A SOUL MATE?
A Soul Mate is a member of your soul family.
These are other souls that come into our lives for one reason or another, and they can be
family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, lovers and even enemies.
We all have a soul and when we encounter other souls in our lives, the friction of the meeting
between two energy forces can create different, intriguing and challenging effects.
Some souls will feel as though they have known each other from another lifetimes, some will
clash, and some will feel at ease with the other persons company.
Essentially some of the souls that come into our lives will help us grow in love and wisdom,
while others will aid us in learning difficult life lessons or universal truths.
No matter how fleeting the encounter, each soul that comes into our lives has the potential
to provide a significant life transforming moment; even that one girl that smiled at
you from the window of a bus passing by.
Soul Mates serve as mirrors of ourselves.
What we see in another soul reflects our own soul.
When we are capable of seeing others souls as mates, (including our enemies), as
members of our family that are there to teach us life lessons, then our whole perception
and relation to other people changes entirely.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOUL MATES
In our language we have the word friend, and the word soul mate which is essentially
romantic by nature.
But how would you describe someone that falls in between?
Someone who is more than just a best friend but doesnt have the romantic and sexual
attraction of a soul mate?
We need to create new words to express these relationships we have with others.
Here are a few words that help to distinguish these deep connections we have in life:
SOUL FRIEND
This is your most common type of relationship connection.
These are the people in your life who you have chosen because your ego, intelligence
or emotions are harmonious with the others.
Essentially, you share the same tastes, interests, beliefs, sense of humor and values.
While this connection is not as deep as a Soul Companion, a Soul Friends company
creates little friction.
Sometimes Soul Friends can become Soul Teachers, but generally you are the one who chooses
your Soul Friend as you perceive the world in a similar way to them.
SOUL TEACHER
Soul Teachers are composed of all the people in your life that have come to teach you a
lesson.
They dont necessary teach you intentionally, but often provide challenging situations in
your life for you to overcome and learn from.
Soul Teachers often come in the form of family members, friends, acquaintances, old lovers,
momentary drifters and even enemies.
You attract them into your life because you need to learn something from them.
For example, some teach you to cultivate patience for the guy who doesnt signal before changing
lanes, to stop lusting over the bad boys that keep crossing your path, or to develop
greater compassion and understanding for another persons way of life and beliefs.
Usually any friction in relationships is due to a failure in acknowledging something within
ourselves, or in other words; a resistance to the lessons our Soul Teachers teach us.
We can never change other people unless they are open to do so, but we can change ourselves.
SOUL COMPANION
This would come closest to what we commonly define as a soul mate with the exception
of romantic attraction.
Soul Companions can be males or females, friends or family members.
While Soul Friends are harmonized with us through their ego identities, Soul Companions
experience soulful harmony with us.
The nature of a Soul Companion is much more long-lived and stable to that of a Soul Friend
for this reason.
Many times the relationships you develop with these people will feel as though youve
known them for centuries, even from past lives.
With a Soul Companion there is a great and deep understanding of the other person, and
a feeling that you are both on the same wave length of thoughts and emotions.
These connections often last for a lifetime.
Soul Companions share both attributes of Soul Friends and Soul Teachers in that they experience
ego harmony with us, as well as teach, help us learn, and grow, without the friction of
a Soul Teacher, as Soul Companions lovingly share with us the journey.
One of the reasons for such depth and harmony is because they usually share with us the
same Soul Age.
SOUL TWIN
The ancient Greeks believed that our souls were once whole and the Gods divided them
into two different halves, and once we found our other halves we would become whole and
complete again.
That is the essence of Soul Twins.
Finding our Soul Twin often feels like finding a piece of ourselves that was missing.
Many describe the feeling as returning home, or developing a greater sense of
wholeness in the presence of the other person.
Soul Twins share complementary, compatible life goals and their spiritual natures are
often in sync.
They also experience immense levels of comfort with each other that cannot be experienced
in other relationships, and they compliment each other in many ways through their strengths
and weaknesses.
Interestingly, the Soul Age development of a person plays a significant role in Soul
Twin relationships.
Mature and Old Souls, for example, are more in-tune with finding their mates as they are
more capable of experiencing a peaceful, joyous love that is not rooted in infatuation.
This love can be grounded in unconditional affection that requires significant spiritual
development to first overcome the fears and possessive attachments that are involved in
most typical relationships.
In the end, its important to remember that none of these relationships are better or
worse than the other they each serve a purpose in our spiritual growth and healing.
WHY SOUL MATES COME INTO OUR LIVES
There are three ways a Soul Mate can come into our lives, and that is: For a Reason,
For a Season and For a Lifetime.
It is important to know of this distinction because once you know why a Soul Mate has
come into your life, you can know what to expect from that connection.
All too often we find couples, for example, who are still clinging to the dead flower
of a relationship that was once blossoming but has reached the end of its season.
So lets have a closer look at these:
FOR A REASON
When you come across a Soul Mate for a REASON, its usually to meet a need that has been
expressed in your life.
This can be for guidance, assistance through difficult times, support, depth of conversations
or simply as a presence for you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
A Soul Mate can last a moment or a lifetime, depending on the type of Soul Mate relationship
it is.
FOR A SEASON
Then there are Soul Mates for a SEASON, or people that come into our lives only momentarily.
These people may serve as catalysts to share, grow and learn, or they may present themselves
in a moment when we need to overcome our fears of vulnerability, or when we need someone
to challenge our belief system, or even when we need to discover a passion we were unaware
of.
Regardless of the reason, these Soul Mates are only Seasonal and leave once their gift
has passed on.
FOR A LIFETIME
Lifetime relationships are predominantly Twin Soul connections.
They teach us lessons that are so deep, so intricate that they require a lifetime of
loving growth with the other to assimilate deeply.
In lifetime connections, the strengths of one person are used to strengthen the other,
and the harmony between both Soul Mates is so peaceful and flows so well that they often
last a lifetime.
These relationships are as rare and as precious as fine jewels, and we should feel immensely
blessed if we encounter them during our lives.
***
There are an infinity of Soul Mates out there that we will encounter during our lives.
While some come to teach us something new, others come to share our joys.
While some last for only a few months or years, others last for a lifetime.
With these lessons and shared moments of bliss, we learn to grow spiritually and come closer
to finding our wholeness as human beings.
