Hi Guys! So for today's tutorial, I'm going to do 7 days of hairstyles.
So If you want to learn how to do them, just keep watching.
For the first style, you're going to create a little rectangle shape on the top of your head,
and tie the rest of the hair out of the way.
Then you're going to divide this little section into 3 even pieces,
and bring the outer strands under the middle strand.
Now we're going to add a section of hair to the right strand, and bring it under to the middle.
Then add a section of hair to the left strand, and bring this under to the middle.
Now repeat this again:
Add a section of hair to the right strand, bring it under to the middle.
And add a section of hair to the left strand, and bring this under to the middle.
And we're creating a Dutch braid.
If you don't know how to do a Dutch braid, I'll leave a detailed tutorial which I did for beginners
In the little 'I' box up above here, and in the description box below the video,
If you want to check that out.
So I'm just going to speed this up just to save time, cause I think this video is going to be really long.
and once you've added in all the hair, you then just want to finish the braid off,
and then we're going to tie all the remaining hair into a ponytail.
And to finish this style, I'm going to take a small section of hair from underneath my ponytail,
and I'm going to wrap it around my ponytail to hide the bobbins.
Then, I'm going to wrap the ends of it around a little clip, and pin the clip into my ponytail.
Here is my finished ponytail style.
Onto style number 2! I'm going to take a section of hair just above my eyes,
and I'm going to tie it into a little ponytail.
Then again, I'm going to do the same thing. Wrap a little section of hair around my elastic,
and then wrap the ends around the clip, and pin it up into my ponytail.
Now I'm going to do a mermaid braid, so I'm going to divide my ponytail in half,
and I'm going to take a small section from the right side, cross it over to the left side.
Then take a small section of hair from the left side, and cross it over to the right side.
Now I'm going to repeat this again.
So take a section of hair from the right side, and cross it over to the left side.
And take a section of hair from the left side, and cross it over to the right side.
Again, if you don't know how to do a Fishtail braid, make sure you check out the little tutorial in the 'I' box
above here, and in the description box below the video.
In it I show you how to braid for beginners. I show you how to do a French fishtail, and a Dutch braid,
and a French braid, and a couple of other braids.
So now that I've done a couple of stitches, I'm going to take a small strand,
like I normally would, and I'm going to add some hair to this, from along my hairline,
and then cross it over to the opposite side.
Again, take a small strand, add some hair to this, and then cross it over to the opposite side.
The strands that you add in, can be as big or as small as you like.
I'm just going to add in big strands today, and then i'm going to continue fishtail braiding.
Now I'm going to add in my final two sections. So take your small strand,
add a section of hair to this, and cross it over to the opposite side.
Repeat this again:
Take a little section of hair, add some hair from along the hairline to this, & cross it over to the opposite side.
Now I'm not going to add in anymore hair, you can if you like.
and I'm just going to continue to fishtail braid down.
So just keep crossing the little strands over to the opposite side.
Finally to finish my mermaid braid off, i'm just going to gently tug on my fishtail braid, to make it a bit bigger.
and here is my finished style.
So for hairstyle number 3, I'm going to do a knotted updo.
So I've just sectioned my hair down the middle, and I'm going to take a large section of hair here,
and I'm going to divide it in half and just tie a knot.
With this style, It is easy to do, but I found one side of my head a little awkward to do, I don't know why.
When I was tying the knot, I just found this side awkward.
So I've just tied my first knot here, and I'm going to add a section of hair to the bottom strand,
and a section of hair to the top strand, and I'm going to tie another knot.
I don't know why I found this side a bit tricky to do... But yeah, that's all you do with this braid.
keep adding hair to the top and bottom strand, and just keep tying knots, the whole way down your head,
until you run out of hair.
Once you've added in all the hair, and braided both sides,
I'm then just going to join any remaining hair together into a little ponytail,
Then you can do whatever you like. I'm going to do a bun, so I'm going to wrap my fingers around my hair,
twist it, and then pull the ends through, to create a bun.
But you can do anything that you like here.
Then I'm going to clip it in place, and here is my third style of the week.
Now for the 4th style of the week, I'm going to do a side braid.
I'm just going to take a large section of hair at the top of my head ,and tie it out of the way for the moment.
Now with the back section, I'm going to create a Dutch braid. Divide your hair into 3 even pieces,
and bring the outer strands, under the middle strand.
Then you're going to add a section of hair to the top strand, bring it under to the middle.
And add a section of hair to the bottom strand, and bring this under to the middle.
Now we're going to repeat the steps again:
1. Add a section of hair to the top strand, bring it under to the middle.
2.)Add a section of hair to the bottom strand, and bring it under to the middle.
One more time:
1.Add a section of hair to the top strand, bring it under to the middle.
2. Add a section of hair to the bottom strand, and bring this under to the middle too.
If you don't know how to do a Dutch braid, make sure you check out my tutorial, which I did for beginners,
In the 'I' box up above here, and in the description box below the video.
I'm just going to keep Dutch braiding, and I'm going to kind of guide the braid down towards my ear,
and tie it off.
Then once I tie my braid off, I'm going to go back and gently tug on it
Then I'm going to move onto the top section.
With the top section, I'm going to do a Fishtail braid.
So divide your hair in half, and take a section of hair from the left side, and cross it over to the right side,
And from the right side, over to the left side.
Now I'm going to take another little section, and this time I'm going to add some hair to it,
then I'm going to cross it over to the right side.
Again, take a small section of hair, add some hair to it, and cross it over to the left side.
And we're creating a French Fishtail
Once more : Take a small section of hair, add some hair to this, and cross it over to the right side.
Take a small section of hair, add some hair to it, and cross it over to the left side.
Again, make sure you check out my braiding tutorial for beginners, if you don't know how to do a Fishtail braid,
and I'm going to keep repeating these steps, until I reach my ear.
So now, I'm going to finish off my fishtail braid, and gently tug on it, and tie it off.
Now for the fun part, I'm going to join my two braids together.
I'm going to make a hole in my Dutch braid, and pull my fishtail braid through this.
Now I'm going to repeat this again, so I'm going to make another hole in my Dutch braid,
just kind of wrap my fishtail braid around it, and then pull my fishtail braid through it again.
Finally to keep my braids extra secure, I'm going to remove the bobbins from both my braids,
and I'm going to merge both strands together, and I'm going to do a Fishtail braid.
Or you could do a three strand braid, whatever you prefer.
Here is stye four of the week!
