New Way To Live Abroad - Duration: 13:04.

So today, I'm going to meet up with a very exciting person

I'm at the restaurant called Lasera

And I actually have made a video of this restaurant

I don't know, maybe like one or two years ago with Norm

so you can check that out up here

I'm gonna link, I'm gonna put the link up here and down there

but I happened to meet up with a friend from high school

And she has a very interesting story that I never have experienced in my life

so let's hear out

You went abroad after graduating from collage, right?

Yup, that's right

You went to Ehime university?

Yeah, I majored in Education in Ehime univerity

The organization has a training program from April

for like two months in Japan

So after graduating in March, I went to Nihonmatsu, Fukushima for the 2-month training

After that, I came back home to pack

Then I left in June for Zambia

Where did you go again?

The country I went is Zambia in Africa

For how long?

For 2 years

What exactly did you do?

There are many different kinds of job

but mine was education so I work at elementary school

I have a teaching certificate, so that's why I worked at school

Zambia is exactly what I imaged how Africa looks like

But it was more civilized than I expected

Like Matsuyama

Really?

Nah, I might have exaggerated lol

Yeah, that was too much lol

But there are many shopping malls

In the capital city, there are at least 6 shopping malls

So it wasn't inconvenient to live there

The size of the country is twice as big as Japan

yet the population is 1/7 of Japan

You can tell the organization which country you want to go

You can pick up to 3 countries from a long list of assignments

Like... I wanna join this assignment in this country

But I didn't know about Zambia

So I first picked Malaysia, Senegal, and Egypt

But I was declined from all of them lol

Oh that happens?

And I was selected for Zambia

I have traveled to Indonesia but that's it

I just wanted to join JICA from the start

I once wanted to study abroad for a brief moment

I didn't have time and money for it

Then, when I graduated from collage, JICA was kind of my only choice

Do you remember a comprehensive class?

One day, we researched other countries during the calss

And we learned 1 child dies every 8 seconds on earth

Since then, I'd always wanted to do something with it

And when I heard about JICA, I started thinking about joining it in the future

Then when I was a high school student, I finally decided to pursue this dream

I took introduction to volunteer work at high school

And I got to talk to a person who went to Belize in Central America through JICA during the class

By listening to her story, I thought this is it

So when I had to choose a major in collage

I wanted to go abroad as a Japanese teacher

so I knew majoring in Education is the only way to get a teaching certificate

Then I was going to join right after I get the certificate

The biggest surprise was the fact that I was able to get everything I needed for daily life

Like everyone has a cell phone

Some people even have a smart phone

TVs are also everywhere

I mean, of course there are people who still don't own a TV

Electronics are more popular than I expected

Plus, Zambia is more open to the other counties than Japan

Those were the few things I didn't expect

And yea, there were a lot of Chinese people too

Children's smile

I wanted kids to be cute and smiling

So that part was as I hoped

Originally, our assignment was to teach computers

literacy, math, reading, writing, calculation, computers, and library

But when I got there, they only had 2 computers

that were working

so we had to come up with some other ways

I had to move 6 times

I had a few troubles

For example, I was assigned to move into a certain apartment

but there were still people living when I got there, and they didn't wanna leave

so I had to find somewhere else to live

Or someone broke my window

and theft

The window incident was really scary

It was in the middle of the night while I was sleeping

someone broke the window of my bedroom

and screamed my name

Actually, I didn't hear window breaking

I was sleeping like a baby lol

But the voice "Wakana, Wakana" woke me up

and looked over the window

there was a hand

I was like "What the heck?"

I saw the curtain waving which shouldn't be moving at all

I thought "What the hell"

and that was the scariest moment

I kept pretending to be asleep

and after the person left, I got up and turn on the light

Then I found out the window was broken

Thanks to burglar bars, he couldn't to get into the house

Anyway, I soon called the staff at JICA

Luckily, there was another JICA staff living in an apartment across from mine

so she let me stayed at her house

until the next morning

I learned that even these troubles can be a funny story after all

Just so you know, all the regions that JICA sends staff and volunteer works to

passed the safety criteria that issued by Japanese government

So you won't get in serious trouble

But small things happen

Cuz we stands out

Yes, it's really personal but

I started to see things differetly

Before, I wanted to help people

but when I got there, I was always being help

Especially, I needed help with language and customs

I would have been completely lost with I didn't have help

We converse with English and a local language

but we only studied the local language for a few days there

so I couldn't speak at all

They often taught me their language

local dishes, and culture

I learned that everyone was a teacher

even children

We all teach each other

I felt like things that I could teach was so limited

So one good experience was that I noticed everyone is a teacher

And also

There are a lot of Japanese people there

We had 15 people in my group

so in total, there were 80 Japanese people in Zambia

And they all have different experiences and careers

such as people who served for Japanese Navy, a chef, or a kick boxer

Because there were many people who had different professions

I had a great opportunity to hear various stories

and I learned there were many possible ways to approach one problem

That was very interesting to know

After all I think I became more open minded than before

So, what did you guys think?

I always knew about this organization, JICA

Japan international cooperation Agency since I was little

because I think this is like government related organization

so as a Japanese citizen, we all learn about JICA when we were in elementary school

And that's how Wakana decided to join JICA

But I never thought joining JICA would have similar impact to studying abroad

because when you are study abroad

you are going to other country to study new language new culture meet(ing) new people

but when you think of joining JICA, you know that you are going abroad to

help people

And that sounds hundred times more difficult than just go to other country

and go to school and stuff like that

But after meeting Wakana

I thought these two things are kind of similar

because like Wakana also thought that she was going to help people in Zambia

But she didn't know the language there

She didn't know the culture there

She didn't know how to go shopping

She didn't know how to live

So basically, yes, she was teaching at school

But they were also helping her to settle down and make her life better

So in the end, study abroad learning new language, learning new culture

and joining JICA or similar organizations to go abroad and help others

In a big picture, these two things are pretty much the same

So what I want to say is that joining JICA is a little difficult compared to study abroad

because you have to have certain degrees or certain license or you have to be at certain age

And by the time you're like 23, 24

you already have a job or once you start a job

you can't just quit and like leave the country for two or three years and come back

It's not that easy to do, so yes, you need to have like a little bit of push to join and actually do this

But other than that, I felt like we are making things 10 times harder for joining JICA than actually is

just because we are aware of will be helping others in other countries

but as Wakana mentioned in a video, it's not

You are gonna be helped by the people who live there

and yeah in exchange you are offering some help

So basically we are offering help for each other

and that's what we do every single day

no matter where you live, right?

So I just wanted to say that knowing something that you have never experienced from other people see things differently

So I always welcome these kind of opportunities to know something new

So thank you so much Wakana for shearing your story

And if you have joined similar organizations

please share your experience down in the comments

That's all for today

But from tomorrow, I'm gonna go to Tokyo for a couple days

and I'm going to Hokkaido for the first time in my life

So I'm gonna keep you posted on Twitter

Bye

Yes, Your Headache Is Worse Than All Other Aches and Pains, Here's Why - Duration: 2:32.

If you have a stomach ache that's no fun, but it's just your stomach that hurts.

If you stub your toe, that sucks but at least it's just your toe!

But, if your head hurts it is all-consuming.

You just want to crawl under a blanket and stay there forever.

Why is that?

What is it about head pain?

If you feel that way, you're not alone; research shows that a similar stimulus will

cause a stronger pain response in the head than the rest of the body.

Scientists are finally starting to understand why.

It's not just about pain, it's about emotions.

Ok, it's partly emotions.

It actually comes down to how the brain is wired.

Research has shown that sensory neurons that connect to the head and face are routed directly

to the brain's main emotional centre.

Sensory neurons in the rest of the body are also connected to this same brain region,

but their connection is indirect.

This means that feelings of pain are tied to emotions and emotional distress.

This is regardless of where the pain is coming from and whether sensory neurons in the head

are more sensitive to pain than those in the body.

The finding is supported by fMRI data that compares head pain to body pain.

They found more activity in the emotional brain centre — the amygdala — for head

pain.

The same thing was found with mice.

The researchers found more activity occured when pain stimulus was applied to the face,

rather than the paw.

Especially in a region linked to the brain's instinctive and emotional centers.

Again, this a result in-line with brain wiring, consistent with face neurons having a more

direct link to emotional centers than body neurons.

Further study showed that activating the brain pathways linked to emotions could prompt pain.

And it spirals from there.

An external emotional trigger can cause a headache, which can evoke a stress response

that makes the headache worse.

Meanwhile, during these headache episodes, the brain is abnormally sensitive to triggers

like light and sound.

The good news from this brain-pain connection is that silencing those same pathways that

can cause pain, reduce the physical symptoms.

This has some pretty interesting implications for treating physical ailments, especially

things like frequent migraines and any kind of chronic neuropathic face pain.

Because if there's an emotional element for head and face pain then dealing with the

emotional element might actually lessen the pain.

Treatment could go beyond pain management and seek to restore the chemical balance in

the brain to silence the pain pathway.

Emotional pain can have some lasting effects, for example -- men never really get over their

breakups.

Trace and I eat ice cream and talk about it here.

Of course, if you're lactose intolerant, some research says that taking pain-relievers

for a headache during a breakup can actually lessen the emotional pain!

Thanks for watching.

How to read a balance sheet: Alphabet Inc case study - Duration: 11:29.

How to read and analyze a balance sheet?

This balance sheet tutorial is a companion video to "How to read an annual report",

"How to read an income statement" and "How to read a cash flow statement", and

covers the 2017 balance sheet of Alphabet Inc

(the parent company of amongst others Google).

The balance sheet is a fascinating financial statement, you can learn a lot from it about

the state of health of a company.

Learning to read a balance sheet takes practice, practice and practice, and some understanding

of the key terminology.

You have come to the right place for that!

The balance sheet is an overview of what a company owns and what a company owes at a

specific point in time, in this case study December 31st, 2017.

When I analyze a balance sheet, there are several things I always check, for each company

I look at: the balance sheet total, which should be the same left and right (what a

company owns equals what a company owes); the current ratio, a good indicator of a company's

liquidity; and equity as a percentage of the balance sheet total, which gives an indication

of how the company is financed, and what its level of robustness is.

Then I look specifically at several items on the assets side, and several items on the

liabilities and equity side.

What those specific items are, I only decide after taking a first look at the balance sheet

of the company under review.

It depends on the context.

As always on the Finance Storyteller channel, this video is for educational purposes only,

none of the comments in this video should be interpreted as investment advice.

As the video is for educational purposes, please do try this at home & comment on your

findings below!

In order to analyze the balance sheet, you need to download the annual report.

In the case of Alphabet Inc, go to abc.xyz/investor, and download the 10-K PDF version.

Scroll down the table of contents of the 10-K annual report, up to item 8: financial statements

and supplementary data.

Click on the link.

You now arrive at the index to the financial statements, and the related notes.

Click on "consolidated balance sheets".

Here's the assets side of Alphabet Inc's balance sheet for year end 2016 on the left,

and year end 2017 on the right.

The balance sheet total is large: $197.3 billion in 2017.

It is also significantly bigger than last year's balance sheet total.

Both in the income statement that we reviewed previously, as well as the balance sheet,

Alphabet Inc is growing considerably.

To select specific items for further review, I look at the absolute size of the line items,

the movement (increase or decrease) versus prior year, and the risk level associated

with the item.

On the assets side, more than half of the total assets sit in cash, cash equivalents,

and marketable securities: $101.9 billion, up more than $15 billion versus the year before,

worth taking a look at in more detail!

Property and equipment is $42.4 billion, up over $8 billion versus prior year.

Lastly, goodwill is $16.7 billion, up only slightly versus prior year, but significant

in absolute terms.

Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities.

$101.9 billion in total.

Not as big as on Apple's balance sheet, but still one of the largest balances in the

corporate world.

Note 3 to the Alphabet Inc financial statements provides details of where that balance is

invested: $36.9 billion in U.S. government notes, $24.2 billion in corporate debt securities,

$11 billion in mortgage-backed securities.

The cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities portfolio generated an interest

income of $1.3 billion in 2017, recorded in other income in the income statement.

If Alphabet Inc wants to make any significant incremental investments in their business

(either for organic growth, or growth through acquisition), they have the money ready!

These are very liquid investments, easily convertible to cash.

Property and equipment.

The balance of property and equipment was $42.4 billion at year end 2017, up $8.1 billion

versus year end 2016.

In the cash flow statement analysis, we saw that the CapEx cash outflow in cash from investing

activities was $13.2 billion in 2017.

The major balance sheet components in the property and equipment balance at the end

of 2017 were land and buildings $23.2 billion, information technology assets $21.4 billion,

and construction in progress $10.5 billion.

While the gross value of property and equipment has gone up significantly,

the accumulated depreciation has also increased,

as the value of the assets in use is allocated to the years of usage.

Goodwill.

One of my favorite items to review on a balance sheet, as it tells a lot about the way the

company has grown over the years.

A high goodwill balance is an indication of significant acquisition activity

in a company's history.

Goodwill is the excess of the purchase price paid for acquired firms, over the fair value

of its separately identifiable net assets.

Goodwill can be a major risk item on a company's balance sheet, if the performance of the acquired

company does not live up to expectations; an impairment (one-time write off) might then

be needed of part of the goodwil.

In the case of Alphabet Inc, the goodwill balance at year end 2017 is $16.7 billion,

which is up only relatively slightly compared to the last year and the year before

(yes, a few hundred million dollars qualifies as "slightly" in the context of Alphabet Inc).

To find a more significant increase in the goodwill balance,

you have to go back to the 2014 annual report.

In 2014, goodwill went up more than $4 billion from $11.5 billion at the start of the year

to $15.6 billion at the end of the year: $2.3 billion due to the Nest acquisition,

$452 million for the Dropcam acquisition,

$388 million for the Skybox acquisition, and $1 billion for other acquisitions that year.

Going through the history of Alphabet Inc's acquisitions feels like a technological journey

through time, and gives an indication of the breadth of the portfolio.

Time to check on our progress on the balance sheet analysis.

So far, we have been able to check the balance sheet total on the assets side, and reviewed

in more detail selected asset items such as cash and marketable securities,

property and equipment, and goodwill.

Now it's time to turn to the other side of the balance sheet,

to review liabilities and equity.

What a company owns (assets) has to equal what a company owes (liabilities and equity),

so our first check here is that the total at the bottom of the page is $197.3 billion.

Within that total, by far the biggest amount is in equity (shareholder capital): $152.5

billion or 77% of the total.

That's unusually high in both absolute and relative terms, but makes the company very robust.

Within equity, nearly three quarters is in retained earnings.

As Alphabet Inc is very profitable, has historically not paid a dividend to its shareholders, and

does not expect to pay any cash dividends in the foreseeable future, this retained earnings

balance keeps on growing and growing.

In comparison to the equity balance, all other line items on this page seem tiny, even though

in absolute terms they might still be sizeable.

Two items jump out, as they are larger than $10 billion at year end 2017, and because

the balance has gone up significantly year-over-year: income taxes payable, and accrued expenses

and other liabilities.

Let's review what is going on there.

Income taxes payable.

The details on this balance sheet liability account are not directly given to us in the

Alphabet Inc annual report, but there are other ways to get an idea of what is going on.

What you see here is the overview of the provision for income taxes in the income statement.

$14.5 billion in total in 2017, much higher than in previous years.

The vast majority of the amount, and the majority of the increase,

is from federal and state taxes.

The narrative at the bottom of the page explains the impact of the US Tax Act of December 2017.

In the case of Alphabet Inc, the main item having an impact in 2017 was the one-time

transition tax, which was recorded as a debit to income tax expense in the income statement,

but as it was not paid yet in cash, the credit went to the liability account called income

taxes payable on the balance sheet.

The December 31st 2016 and December 31st 2017 balances, as well as the main line items,

for accrued expenses and other liabilities are shown in a note to the financial statements.

The European Commission fine of $2.9 billion stands out here.

This is the fine that the European Commission has announced, which Alphabet is appealing

and has not paid yet.

Alphabet Inc has recorded the fine as an expense (debit) in the income statement, and the offset

(credit) to that journal entry was accrued expenses and other liabilities.

In other words, the expenses are recorded, but the settlement or payment has not occurred.

Time for a progress check on our balance sheet analysis.

So far, we have been able to check the balance sheet total on the assets side, looked at

equity as a percentage of the balance sheet total, and reviewed in more detail selected

asset and liability items.

Now it's time to connect both sides of the balance sheet (assets – what a company owns,

and liabilities and equity – what a company owes) to see the bigger picture.

The current ratio is one of the ways to connect both sides of the balance sheet.

The current ratio looks at current assets versus current liabilities.

Current assets are things that are already cash or are likely to become cash within 12 months.

Current liabilities are things that need to be paid in cash within 12 months.

If the current ratio is high, then that means that a company has a high liquidity.

In the case of Alphabet Inc, the current ratio is very high at 514%

($124.3 billion in current assets over $24.2 billion in current liabilities).

For every $1 in current liabilities, $5.14 in current assets.

If Alphabet Inc owes you money, they are highly likely to be able to pay you.

We have succeeded in performing a high-level balance sheet analysis of Alphabet Inc, by

focusing on five areas: balance sheet totals, current ratio, equity as percentage of the

total, and selected items in assets and liabilities.

I am very interested to hear your comments, please post them below the video.

Adjustable Height Workbench Design - You've Gotta See This! - Duration: 2:36.

Hi, my name is Charlie Kocourek and today I want to show you my workbench design.

This is an Adjustable Height Workbench, it has a Mobile Base built right in to the design.

And, I call it the Jack Bench.

You can easily adjust the height of the bench to whatever height that you need using just

a cordless drill.

Once the bench is locked into position, it is as solid as a rock.

There is no wiggle whatsoever.

Then you operate the jack on the mobile base and you can move it around your shop or garage

to where ever you want it.

Once you have it right where you want it, you just turn the screw to drop the whole

bench right back down on the ground.

I like my bench up high when I'm using power tools, like when I am edge routing a board.

And, like it even higher when I am doing fine detail work like when I am doing veneering

or marquetry.

But, I like my bench low when I am using hand tools like when I am planing a board.

And I like it even lower when I am doing assembly

work, doing a glue up, or when I'm clamping.

When I'm trying to put something together I want it as low as I can get it.

The basic operation is pretty simple, really.

There are two scissors jacks.

The first one is used to adjust the bench height and the second one is used on the mobile

base.

Well I hope you like my workbench design, and I hope you like this video, too.

And, if you want more information there is more info on my website, that is www.jack-bench.com.

Or, if you would like to get a set of workbench plans for this, those are available on my website

Sexy Spice: Mel B flaunts catwalk ready pins as she debuts stunning new look - Duration: 3:05.

Sexy Spice: Mel B flaunts catwalk ready pins as she debuts stunning new look

The X Factor judge has been spotted filming Americas Got Talent alongside Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell.

Looking every inch a star, Mel B slipped into a tiny metallic dress and matching killer heels.

The short number allowed the 42-year-old to show off her catwalk ready pins as she teetered around the set.

Adding sex appeal, Mel left her bra at home.

Ditching the short pink locks she sported towards the end of 2017, Mel returned to her roots by rocking a large curly do.

Mel is keeping busy and work-focused after a rocky 12 months.

The BRIT Award winner was embroiled in a messy break-up with Stephen Belafonte.

The couple were hit by countless claims as their marriage broke down including speculation about drug use and that they regularly had threesomes with their nanny Lorraine Gilles.

As well as her role on Americas Got Talent, Mel has also been caught up in strong rumours of a return of the Spice Girls.

However, reports claims the superstars cant agree on what they want to do.    Though Posh is refusing to join a world tour.

A source told The Mirror: Victoria doesn't want to tour as her fashion business is going from strength to strength.

But she will make a lot of money even if she doesn't take part in the reunion.

It's ruffled feathers as she is still set to benefit hugely without having to do much.

At the moment she wants minimal involvement.

"Victoria is adamant she is committed to her business, so Simon [Fuller] is seeing how he can get her on board without her committing to a major world tour..

Bye

🚢 Noahs Carbon Arche: Nissan 350Z HR Stillen Supercharger mit 472 PS und 478 Nm! - Duration: 5:29.

We have an interesting car for you, this time about

a Nissan 350Z with Stillen supercharger

with HR engine

It's a great and interesting car, so lets start

with a car porn!

We're driving in Noah's 350Z right now

Regards to the Nederlands!

You just saw the car from the outside

Please don't ask me which parts were used on this car

I don't even know. :-)

We saw carbon fenders

Carbon front splitter

Carbon rear diffusor

We see VeilSide seats out of carbon fiber

Removable steering wheel

and so on

You can see that Noah invested a lot of work and time in his car

unfortunately not in an appropiate suspension system :-)

but he told me that he'll install an airride and bigger rims

I'm curious if this combination will perform better

Right now it's very nervous at higher speeds

OK, this car is a HR engine with Stillen supercharger

and we pulled a few 100-200 kph runs

we're currently about 12.5 seconds

it's not the best time for this setup

but I think that this is caused by the massive spoilers

and because of the poorly adjusted suspension

Monday we're going to the dyno

and verify the power of the engine

and will put the clips into this video

OK, now we show you a little clip of the acceleration

and we see you later

wwwrooooooaaaaaaar :-))

So we're back from the dyno

the result is outstanding, I think

we have 472 HP

at 478 Nm of torque

Torque is maxed at 6200 RPM

the power is maxed at 7300 RPM

means that this car has 428 HP on the rear wheels

corrected to EWG

Because the weather was very cold today

we measured power of 502 HP uncorrected

that was a pretty nice result

cold air does well in the engine

but in europe we're correcting to EWG

and this result was corrected to EWG

I'm happy, I think Noah will be happy too

OK, this was about the dyno diagram

We're at felt -10°C outside and I have a hard time to speak

and standing at the Rhein bridge in Wesel

and we're preparing a photo shoot for him

We used the opportunity, it's pretty cool, so

I think Noah will be happy about it

because he will be in german magazines about tuning

and I think it will be OK, it's a cool car

We enjoyed the filming and working on the car

and you see that we worked hard on this one

and we would be happy about likes

shares, comments and subscribes

and we see that we have an audience for it

see you next time!

12 kinds of food on Tet should not be stored together - Duration: 9:55.

Health Network, For Public Health

Hi, you are listening to audio on mangyte.vn website

12 kinds of food on Tet should not be stored together

Many families have a habit of storing food in the fridge to eat in Tet, especially vegetables and fruit.

However, the vegetables and fruits at the purchase of capital are very fresh, only after a few days to the refrigerator has signs of wilting.

Apply the tips below to keep fruits and vegetables fresh during the holiday season.

Cucumber preserved separately.

Many fruits, such as bananas, tomatoes and melons, produce ethylene gas, which can rip vegetables and make vegetables more prone to damage.

Cucumbers are very sensitive to ethylene gas, so cucumbers need to be stored separately, otherwise they will break down very quickly.

You should preserve the cucumber on the taller compartments of the refrigerator instead of letting the cucumbers in the vegetable containers of the lower refrigerator, along with the fruits that produce the ethylene gas.

2. Preserving herbs like preserving fresh flowers.

You are about to cut back on salt intake or simply want to add flavor to your dishes.

The use of herbs is a good way, but do not put the herbs in plastic bags and then throw in the refrigerator!

Please preserve the herbs like preserving fresh flowers!

First, wash and then dry the leaves.

Then, plug the root of the herbs into a glass of water, or a jar of water, like a flower pot, then put it in the fridge.

Most of the herbs, herbs and spices can be preserved in this way.

However, some vegetables will need to be preserved in a more special way.

For example, cinnamon will need to be hung high at room temperature.

You can also preserve basil by plugging in water, but need to change water regularly if water is viscous.

This preservative can keep herbs and spices fresh for 2 weeks.

3. Do not preserve pumpkin with apples and pears.

Pumpkin, pumpkin can usually be stored for a very long time, but apples, pears and other autumn fruits should not be stored together with pumpkins, as they will cause yellow and rapid changes. worse.

Stick can be stored between 10 and 13 degrees Celsius, ie only slightly lower than room temperature, but not necessarily as cold as in the refrigerator.

The pumpkin can be stored for 6 months, but you should pay attention to the small squash, as they are usually only preserved for 3 months only.

4. Vegetables can be put into bags.

Vegetables that grow from the root of the plant, such as carrots, yams, red radishes and onions, are some examples of nutritious vegetables that we can eat because they are absorbed. Most nutrients from the soil.

To preserve these vegetables, leave them in a cool, dark and moist place.

Ideally, it should be in the basement, but not every family has a vault to keep them that way.

So it is best to place these vegetables in a plastic bag, a plastic bag, along with a sheet of paper and store it in the refrigerator.

If you just throw these vegetables in the fridge, even if they are stored in a vegetable compartment, they will soften and break down very quickly.

5. Soak the berries.

Berries, such as mulberry fruits, are sweet and easy to eat.

But the problem is that they are very easy to mold if not properly maintained.

The cause is that tiny mold spores exist on the small, interstitial spaces of these fruits that we can not wash the canals.

To preserve these berries, the first thing to remember is that, just wash them before eating, and if you have not eaten, you do not need to wash, because moisture from water will be the ideal environment for mushrooms. mold development.

If your house has a blueberry box, and you can not finish it in a few days, how do you preserve it?

Take a moment to immerse this fruit in a bowl of water, mixed with 3 servings of water:1 vinegar.

Soak it lightly, then drain out to drain.

Vinegar will work to prevent fungal spores from growing.

But you should also note that the berries often do not preserve long if there is water

So, make sure that after soaking, you wipe them dry:put the fruit on a towel or paper so that water is completely absorbed.

Then, you can remove the berries into a vented box, or to open the lid of the box in case the box is not vented.

6. Separate apples and oranges.

Apples and oranges seem to be close friends, but these two fruits should not be stored together in the fridge, the reason is the same as cucumber, which is due to ethylene gas.

Therefore, you should store apples separately in a refrigerator compartment, so that they can be stored longer.

With oranges, you should put them in the net bag and leave in the refrigerator, do not preserve the same apples.

The net bag will help the air.

7. Separate each banana.

The bananas will look better, especially in the New Year, but the problem is that if the banana, both bananas will ripen at the same time and you can not eat even bananas.

The solution is to split the banana.

Cut out some bananas to put on the plate of fruit you will eat right away, the rest of the banana you can store in the refrigerator to slow the ripening process.

If some bananas start to ripen hatching eggs, you can peel and use these bananas to make banana cream, or mask a banana, which is also good for your dry skin in winter.

8. Do not mix the onions and potatoes.

Fried potatoes and dried onions are great combinations, but you should not preserve them together before processing, as onions can make the potato faster.

It is best to preserve potatoes and pumpkins in buckets and basketbaskets in cool and dark places, to keep pumpkins and potatoes fresh.

You can also put them in plastic bags, but make sure they are placed in a low humidity compartment or in a non-condensable water container, as moisture will pump and ripen faster.

On the side of the onion, you can store the same garlic in a ventilated place, and try to keep the garlic whole until it is used.

9. Ripe avocados preserved together with bananas.

According to a survey conducted earlier this year in Today's Dietitian magazine, avocados are the second-best fruit in the list of 10 super foods for 2017.

Since avocados are a very expensive fruit, preserving avocados properly is a very important thing.

If your avocado is not very ripe, you can preserve butter with bananas.

The gas released from bananas may help your avocado ripen faster.

If you need to store avocado for a long time, you should preserve butter in the refrigerator, to slow the ripening of the avocado.

If you just want to cut a few slices of avocado without eating the whole fruit, you can leave the rest of the avocado with the whole avocado, in a sealed box with a piece of onion.

10. Do not leave the tomatoes in the refrigerator.

Tomatoes are not only eye-catching, but also delicious and nutritious, but if the tomatoes are stored too long in the refrigerator, they will soften and taste a lot lighter.

Tomatoes should only be stored in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days, but if you have cut pieces of tomatoes, or any other fruits and vegetables, you should store them in the refrigerator to avoid bacteria.

However, if you want to preserve tomatoes for a long time, you should keep tomatoes at room temperature, it will keep more flavor of tomatoes, such as tomatoes at the kitchen table.

11. Keep corn cold, but do not refrigerate.

The best way to enjoy the corn is to eat immediately for the best taste, but if you need to preserve corn for a short time, then you can leave the corn in the refrigerator.

Do not put corn in plastic bags or paper bags.

If possible, let the corn on the fridge's sideboard, as it is where the temperature is slightly higher.

Corn will be dry and sticky if left in a very cold environment, because the cold environment will not have enough moisture to preserve the corn kernel.

One of the NICEST VIEWS in BALI! (Lempuyang Temple + Agung Volcano) | Alex & MJ - On the GO - Duration: 13:15.

A little relaxing drone session!

I'm super comfortable.

Super comfortable.

When we arrived in Bali we asked you a question:

What would you like to see us do here?

We got many suggestions

like this one from Emma Stevenson who suggested we do a scooter road trip.

So we rented a scooter.

And today we're going a road trip.

Oh my God.

Shit that's heavy.

You want me to leave everything upstairs? - Yeah.

Ok so the three bags upstairs in the room. Ok.

We'll be back on Friday.

Friday? - Friday.

Bye bye!

So we're leaving Canggu for three days

but even though we're coming back here, at this exact same vil,

we still had to check out, pack our bags and empty or room.

The cool thing is that the people here were nice enough to let us leave our backpacks

until we came back.

That way we don't have to carry everything on the scooter...

which would've been impossible to do.

Our setup: we have our equipment bag right here,

at my feet between my legs,

inside here we have our bag full of clothes,

and on MJ's back, more gear.

It's currently 10:30 AM, we should arrive at 12:30 PM.

No. 1:30 PM.

At 1:30 PM? - It's a three hour drive.

Three hours?! - 2 hours 50 minutes.

Really? I thought it was only 2.

Alright, let's go!

Alright, road trips equal gas, a pretty boring subject, I know.

But here, in Bali, Indonesia,

the way we fill up is pretty particular.

There are no big gas stations. There are sometimes, but very rarely.

So what we have to do is stop to these little shops on the side of the road

who sells gas in big water bottles.

It costs about 1-2$ to fill up.

I'm not sure where they get their gas from. It might be Olive Oil

but it works.

If you're wondering what paradise looks like, this is it.

I wasn't talking about MJ...well yes, she's paradise,

but I was mostly talking about the view in this case.

We just arrived, everything went well. It took 3 hours. My bum hurts. It was a long drive.

It really was. At one point, I had to take a break.

So we took a break.

So we just arrived at this beautiful villa that we found on...Booking.com?

How much is it?

25-27$ per night.

It's incredible. The room is huge.

Big bed.

What's awesome is the pool and the view. It's crazy.

We have an infinity pool with a view on the ocean.

What more do you want?

Oh and every morning we're getting our breakfast served on our little terrace.

We're going to be here 2 days only.

We're here for different for a few things.

But most importantly to see the nearby volcano and Lempuyang Temple

which has a gorgeous view of the volcano, according to Instagram.

What are you doing?

Just wandering around. Making the most of the pool.

Ok, so it'll just be me and you then.

Yep...

That's it. - You didn't finish your thought.

It's 6:36 AM. It's been about half an hour since we arrived at Lempuyang Temple

and it's raining.

We arrive for sunrise

and again, we have bad luck.

We got here on time and everything.

Yes! - Ahead of time too.

But it started raining so now we're under this random roof top in the village.

We're waiting.

Look, we can see it!

Ah, now I'm happy!

It stopped raining MJ!

It's perfect.

We can see the volcano really well.

I was scared because there were still lots of clouds when the rain stopped.

I'd seen lots of photos where you couldn't see anything, but right now, it's best view ever.

It's spic and span, it's clean, it's crisp.

Just like a baby's bum.

And because it ran, there are nice reflexions in the puddles of water. It's beautiful.

What's impressive is that this is the volcano that's been erupting in Bali for the past couple of months.

Right now, it's not obviously erupting, but it sometime lets

puffs of smoke now and then. Apparently.

That's what I heard one of the guides say.

Listen, it's making noise. - Nice.

I want to take a moment to explain my outfit to you.

Here, since it's a temple, everyone, men and women, must wear a sarong.

It's piece of cloth to cover the legs.

They gave me a purple one.

I feel tough. Very tough.

Ok, thank you.

Where can we go to fly the drone to see the volcano?

You can fly your drone here.

Just not over the Temple. Just around.

Yes, not over the Temple.

Alright, there's more and more tourists starting to show up

and the volcano is fully covered by the clouds now.

We don't see it anymore.

So we're going to go, but it was nice.

It's really nice. This morning I was losing a bit of hope.

I was like: "Oh it's raining, we woke up early for nothing again!"

But we still had faith. Especially me.

Oh yeah? Did you still faith, really?

We got to the top and the clouds disappeared like magic. It was awesome!

There was a rainbow and everything.

It was nice.

Honestly, we've seen many temples in the last 2 years and I'm kinda over it

but this one is worth it

because of the view. It's magical.

If you're in Bali, swing by Amed. it's a little detour from the big places

but it's really nice.

So are you going to come watch another sunrise again with me?

You don't have a choice. This one went well!

Yes, you have to!

Tonight there's a big party in Bali, especially in the Hindu community.

Actually, tonight, is the end of their year.

Their calendar ends tonight.

It's like New Years Eve.

When driving by villages, we can notice big statue-like creatures

that were created for tonight's festivities.

We call them Ogoh-Ogoh and they represent Evil.

So the idea for tonight is to make lots of noise, danse, sing, drink

and burn the monsters

to get rid of bad spirits on the island.

This is something that's only going on the island of Bali and not everywhere in Indonesia.

It's really cool that we're here to witness this.

Tomorrow it's the opposite. There will be no sound whatsoever on the island of Bali.

And it's really enforced. The cops will be monitoring the streets to make sure

that people stay in their homes,

that lights are closed.

The airport will even be shut down!

It's intense!

So we went grocery shopping and bought a few things to survive the day.

We'll see what happens.

I'm not sure where they're going with the monsters

but now there's traffic.

The electrical wires are in the way so they have to move them.

We'll follow them.

What's going on MJ?

I think they're going to turn around.

They're going to walk by again.

So they're starting to make noise now.

Lots of noise.

They're walking

in that direction.

It's a long parade.

Ok, so what you must understand is that we didn't understand what was going on, at all.

Nobody was able to properly explain to us what was happening.

But we ended up by understanding. By then it was too late.

We were in the parade.

So yeah, it was a parade. Just like we have the Santa Claus Parade. Same thing.

The Ogoh-Ogohs are the equivalent of our floats.

So when we followed that Ogoh-Ogoh, we followed it to the starting point of the parade.

So once there we thought things were going to happen. That there would be fire and everything.

But they were only presenting the different Ogoh-Ogohs

The parade started after

and made its way towards the villages.

And because we wanted to see the fire, we started driving back

but we were stuck in traffic. There were lots of people. When we finally arrived,

everything was in Indonesia, lots of religious things happening

and too many people for us to see anything.

So because we had been following this parade for like 4-5 hours,

we decided to come back home.

We never saw the burning of the Ogoh-Ogohs.

We only saw a picture on Instagram.

But hey, if ever we come back, we'll know how it works.

No need to go too early. It starts at 9 or 10 PM.

019 GrowCastle - 4x1T steps to 4 m hp (spending video) - Duration: 2:11.

Welcome everyone in a video when i manage to make one of my goals. It took me a bit time though, but think it was worth it.

So Let's start already with the spending. And again i will say this again, never underestimate the power that gives a high hp pool

I have done some tests already and having 4 mln hp, and 0,8 m mp allows me to drop out the dark elf from my wave/ hell builds

Thanks to that, i have one additional spot in the waves build where i placed the architect. This allowed me to make my final full gold build

where all of the gold buffs are in and i manage to run it at 30% speed increase for quicker gold gain.

Thanks to that i manage in a quite short time to pump up the amount i get from ads, when you're watching the video, my max gold gains is:

190 mil from a wave and 942 mil from adv, this sums to 1,132 bil gold - that's speeds a lot my gold gain

What's more it's far more easier to skip waves for me. And now i can easily get even 12,5k waves in a season (still getting an insane amount of gold)

The high hp pool also allowed me to work a bit with my hell mode build, having that amount of hp not only allows me to survive for a lot longer

But also my smith II replenishes a lot more hp, so i don't have to use any support up to 100 bil dmg. The build is a lot more stable and easy to play

Whenever i do a mistake, it takes a lot less time to get things straighten 40% of hp is filled in ~25-30 sec. And that makes a lot easier to handle the flying grim archers

I'm almost ready to change my build for the end game version with focusing on the TA, but i still could use 3 double cooldown stafs for that.

And another additional double cooldown accessory. Right now my max is 177 bil dmg, which is quite nice.

I had a run where i scored 166 bil, and still had the most important supports with me (2xlightning, 2x sword, 2x hp fill)

I could have done 200 bil then so i thought hey, let's record this from now on :), and then my nox crasher when i was launching the vid recorder

So unfortunately that didn't go the way i planned (the score wasn't saved in the results so that's a double fail)

hopefully i will have a bit time in the weekend and i will run one hell run, that will finally go over the 200 bil score

So please cross your fingers on that one for me, and maybe there will be a new hell mode video soon :)

Thank You for watching !!!

Senate Republicans Demolish Dems 67-31 To Remove Obama's Most Costly Legacy To America - Duration: 3:02.

Senate Republicans Demolish Dems 67-31 To Remove Obama's Most Costly Legacy To America

Under Obama, a rash of bad legislation was signed into law.

We know about the big ones, like Obamacare.

But Obamacare was only the beginning of Barack's progressive agenda.

After his sweeping healthcare legislation, he then dropped his fangs on the private sector.

Businesses of all kinds were harmed with needless rules and regulations.

And his attack on businesses, if you can believe this, was even MORE destructive than Obamacare!

There is some good news, though.

The Senate just passed a bill that will undo a goodly portion of Obama's damage.

From Daily Caller:

The Senate passed a bipartisan bill Wednesday that rolls back key components of the 2010

Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act…

The bill is the brainchild of Senate Banking Committee Chairman Mike Crapo and aims to

rework a number of the protective barriers Dodd-Frank put between consumers, banks and

the greater economy in the wake of the 2007-2009 Great Recession…

Large banking institutions have grown dramatically since the passage of Dodd-Frank despite the

act's intentions, and small community banks have incurred serious losses as they try to

keep up.

Crippling regulations saddled smaller banks, forcing American consumers to market with

fewer investment vehicles and greater costs.

Senators who voted for Crapo's bill say it will help ease mortgage regulations on

small and regional banks.

Surprise, surprise.

Democrats actually hurt small businesses!

The Dodd-Frank law was "supposed" to prevent big banks from becoming too powerful.

Instead, it burdened banks with heavy regulations.

Smaller banks did not have the resources to meet all the new rules.

Big banks did.

They survived while smaller banks failed.

The big banks crushed the competition or swallowed them up, leading to fewer options for consumers

and a larger monopoly in the industry.

So the literal exact opposite happened, all thanks to Democrats.

But that is how Liberals are, though.

They never really, truly support the little guys.

They are in the pocket of big businesses.

Their heavy regulations and big government ideas like Dodd-Frank killed jobs, crushed

businesses, and created monopolies.

Thankfully, we're back in the realm of Republican reality.

Which means that the gutting of this awful law will finally bring small banks back into

business.

For that, we're grateful.

Hopefully Trump will sign this into law very soon.

Anything that cuts government regulationsarac is a very good thing.

DIY School Supplies! 7 Weird Back to School Hacks! - Duration: 10:01.

Hello, my friend! This is Christina

I know, you like video about school. Now I'll take 7 DIY ideas about school supplies

I think, you like it!

Do you Remember the game from the previous video with lifehucks for novice artists? There I talked about the rules.

You need to find 3 dogs icons that I hid in this video. Mini prize today will be - 7 likes on your pictures of instagram and subscription.

We are looking for husky and we are participating!

avocado monster

We need this kind of corrective tape. We take a lot of modeling, I have clay that freezes in the air. And completely pasted.

To disguise the irregularities, I'm a bad sculptor, take a poorly sharpened pencil and make holes throughout the product. We leave to dry up.

We cover the future monster with green paint. Now it looks like a ripe avocado. Glue the eyes.

And where the corrective tape will go out we make a mouth. I paint the line with black nail polish and after drying I make the teeth with white acrylic paint.

I like this monstrict so much and the main thing is that nobody in the school will be exactly like that.

Gelaxy pen

Take boring pens and pencils. I have a mechanical pencil that I draw,

but I do not like the way it looks. I want to make it cosmic.

Once I did a manicure in this technique and now I decided to try it with the office. Cover the entire surface with a violet paint.

Now with the help of a sponge, patting movements apply a black, pink, greenish and white lacquer.

In general, we create space. When everything is completely dry,

you can add varnish with sparkles. Beauty. Now I like everything.

donut pen

This pencil is covered with white paint or white nail polish. After drying, we put the colored varnishes of the point.

you can use a hairpin

It turns out confetti. Now I take a toy-antistress, I had a donut here.

I make a hole in it and put it on the glue. Beauty.

We are looking for husky, do not forget!

kawaii chocolate

We will need one boring sharpener with a reservoir. We paste it with a mass for molding half. I cut off the excess.

Ruler create a chocolate relief. I wrap the bottom part with foil to make it more realistic.

And from the top I also wrap clay, imitate the wrapper.

We leave to dry up. Now we paint with paints or nail polishes. I use brown acrylic paint.

When the chocolate part dries, you can start wrapping. Now that everything has dried up, you can give the chocolate a more kawaii appearance and use it boldly.

I adore the unusual office, it so raises the mood and shades the boring school everyday life.

Sharpener-cup

And here's another idea for a sharpener. I have an old sharpener, which has broken for a long time.

Now I will give her a second life. We paste a small sharpener in the lid.

And from above we decorate. We create foam and sweats.

The tank itself I cover with light brown paint, as in craft cups.

We paste a paper label and sign it. We paint the foam with varnishes for the nails and until the varnish is dried dry with a sweet powder.

It is well adhered, for certainty it is possible to sprinkle with varnish. Done, you can use.

unicorn

Boring glue we will make a steep stationery. Take the usual glue, tear off the label.

The nose reminds me of the horn of the unicorn, which we will do. Cover with gold paint or nail polish.

If you have color pom-poms for creativity - fine, use them. I'll show you the budget option. We will need ordinary cotton wool.

Fold fingers with balls of different shapes, from large to small. Dip in any paint.

And we wait until it dries. Dry pom-poms not quickly, so it is better to leave for the night.

When everything is dry, we get cool balls for creativity. We paste in a chaotic order.

Mane is ready. Now make eyes.

I make circles with a marker, and on top I cover everything with black nail polish. I put down glare, cilia and mouth with blush.

You can add a rainbow, so it turns out very effectively. Ready to use.

Flamingo

For this idea, we need an unnecessary circle. I cover the top with white acrylic paint and leave until completely dry.

Now we again need a lot for creativity. We glue the handle of the mug, form the neck of the flamingo.

We help to smooth with a wand. Leave to dry.

With a thin, transparent tape, we create a zigzag-print. And we cover everything on top with pink acrylic paint.

After all has dried up, we remove scotch. White paint paint unevenness. And draw the mug of the flamingo.

It is better to use nail polish. This idea was suggested to me by my vouchers, which I ordered last year.

You could see with them a video on filling the airframe. And then the mug began to appear on the pictures of the photos and very much sunk into my soul.

It turned out that making it very simple. Drinking from her course is impossible,

but you can use it on photos or put different office supplies in there. Such a thing will definitely become a real decoration of your table.
