WORST FINANCIAL ADVICE EVER | Introducing Dollar Daryl! - Duration: 4:36.

What's is up my fellow Money Minions!

My name is Troy, also known as - the Dollar Dude!

What's going on in your world?

Welcome back to another video and -

Whoa.

Did the power go out? What -

[creepy laughter]

What's that noise?

Hello?

Someone there?

Hey!

Who are you?!

[sounds of struggle]

Sorry about that guys.

Technical difficulties.

Boy howdy, my fellow Money Misters and Mistresses!

Pleased as punch to see you again!

You can call me Dollar Daryl.

What's going on wit'cha?

Welcome back to another completely normal video with nothing out of the ordinary as

far as I can tell.

As all ya'll know, we're talkin' bout money and finance and all those wonderful

things.

If you're on board with all that and you're not yet a money mister, or a money mistress,

why don't you go on and hit that subscribe button and that little bell icon next to it

cause if you blink you might miss somethin'.

I almost didn't make it in time for this video!

You see I was heading back home in my brand new 2018 Land Rover - and it's a beauty.

Now some people will tell you to buy only used cars but I like 'em new cause they're

more reliable.

You don't wanna buy a used car and have it just break down on ya!

Then you might have to pay a $150 dollar repair bill on it once or twice a year!

When you could have been using that money towards a $600 monthly payment.

Plus I like shiny things.

So yeah, I bought it new.

Got a sweet deal on it too!

No money down and leasing it for only $500 a month.

That's a Dollar Daryl Money Tip.

A motor vehicle is what we call a depreciating asset.

So you want to always lease things that go down in value, like cars, trucks, boats, private

jets, Beanie Babies, Amiibo - you wanna be leasin' that stuff.

So yeah, I was driving down the road, minding my own business, but all of a sudden, this

big ol' polar bear just walks right in front of me, right in the middle of the road.

It caught me off guard cause I live in Florida, I don't know what it was doing down here.

So I gotta swerve out the thing's way and I end up fishtailing, heading up over the

curb and smacking right into a phone booth.

So of course I don't carry insurance cause you know all that's just a scam, that's

how they get ya.

I gotta get the thing repaired though, which is an unexpected bill!

Which would cause most people to panic wondering how they're gonna cover this expense.

Oh, but not your boy Daryl.

He's got it covered.

See, I've got what you might call an emergency fund.

It's the "funds", on my credit card, that I use in case of an "emergency".

You always want to make sure you have a credit card on you in case of emergencies, like a

car wreck or a Beyonce concert, or when you just really, really want some pizza.

Man, them pizza 'mergencies ain't no joke.

But if your, uh…your FIDO score is in the 420s, like mine, you might not be able to

get approved for an emergency credit card.

In which case, just head on down to the local payday lender or the title pawn place, give

'em your first born, they'll take care of ya.

Speaking of doing what you have to, it's a cut throat world out there in the job market.

A high school diploma or college degree ain't gonna cut it anymore, you gotta find a way

to stand out to prospective employers.

That's why you want to make sure to go to the most prestigious school that you can get

into, cause that big name on your resume is going to get employers to stand up and take

notice.

Everybody knows what really matters is what school you went to, not trivial things like

skills or experience.

Can't afford that big name school?

No problem, just get your parents to co-sign for you!

Don't worry, you're gonna pay those student loans off once you graduate and get that big

boy or big girl job.

It might take 5, 10, 50 years, but you'll do it eventually.

Now I know most of y'all know you can get all the financial advice you'll ever need

from me, Dollar Daryl.

But I hear a lot of y'all keep talking about this Dave Ramsey person.

Apparently he's some kind of money guru or somethin'.

He don't look like no financial expert to me, all I've ever seen him do is complain

about his food and yell at people!

What's he doing with all them knives anyway?

Shoot, I ain't tryin to get cut.

And I'm done with this one.

You can hit that like button if you wanna and if you're not already a money mister

or mistress, hit that subscribe button.

Also, if you're a money mistress, call me.

It's been fun!

Till next time though, my name is Dollar Daryl, and I'll see all of ya'll…next April.

Hey.

Why won't it -

Come on, now -

There it go.

What the hell was that?

This Radioactive Element Defies Quantum Theory: Meet Berkelium - Duration: 3:57.

For anyone who isn't a chemist, you've probably always ignored that weird chunk of

the periodic table that floats below the main elements that we have to memorize in school.

This chunk, right here.*point to bottom of screen* And that's probably because we don't

know a lot about these elements.

These are the lanthanoids and actinoids, and new research is only just starting to shed

light on how bizarre these heavy elements really are, and how little we know about chemistry.

All the elements in the periodic table are organized by increasing atomic number, a number

that usually corresponds to atomic mass.

Beyond mass, elements are also grouped by kind and similar properties.

Lanthanoids and actinoids are two distinct groups that are often taken together because

they're both part of the inner transition series that sits within transition metals.

The elements in these two groups are also structured differently than other elements

at the atomic level.

Looking specifically at actinoids, they're typically soft, silvery metals with that are

both dense and malleable.

You could cut some of them with a knife!

Thorium is like soft steel; when it's heated you can roll it into a sheet or pull it into

a wire.

Actinoids are also lightly paramagnetic, pyrophoric which means they spontaneously ignite with

exposure to air, and, with the exception of actinium, have multiple crystalline phases.

But, their most notable defining characteristic is that they're all radioactive.

And it gets stranger.

Only four known actinoids occur naturally on Earth.

The others are created in a lab.

But no matter where they come from, actinoids are the heaviest and least understood elements

we know.

Among these synthetic elements is berkelium, and it's defying quantum mechanics.

Berkelium was discovered by scientists at, you guessed it, Berkeley, in 1949.

It's an actinoid so we know it's radioactive, but that's almost everything we know about

it.

The element is so difficult and expensive to make that there's almost none in existence

— there's less than a gram in the world and there's only one isotope chemists can

work with, 249Bk, and it decays quickly - just a half-life of 320 days.

But that's still SOME!

And Department of Energy recently gave scientists 13 milligrams to work with.

Unlike the lighter elements at the top of the periodic table, quantum mechanics can't

explain what's going on with the electrons at the heart of this element.

But scientists think it might have something to do with Einstein's theory of relativity.

The electrons in berklium seem to follow his prediction that says as objects move faster,

they get heavier The electrons move around the element's

charged nucleus at a significant fraction of the speed of light, and this is what's

making the element heavy and behave in ways that can't be explained by quantum theory.

Which is leading researchers to wonder how they can either make the reaction stronger

or shut it down altogether.

Until now, berkelium has mainly been used to make new elements like tennessine, so this

is one of the first dedicated experiments scientists have done to learn about the element

itself.

And really, it's teaching us that the element is hard to understand.

Berkelium is making theories about chemistry bend and break, but it's all in the name

of understanding the full table of our elements and the chemistry that comes with them.

Photo galleries, blogs, e-commerce -- those are elements too!

But instead of for nature, they're for your own website!

Want to know more about crazy states of matter, we

dug so deep into it my brain hurt on SeekerPlus -- check it!

One last thing, our Periodic Table was created by Dmitri Mendeleev, he wrote the elements

on cards and practiced rearranging them until it hit him to put them in order of relative

atomic mass, that was in 1869 -- when there were only 63 known.

Dendi: Why we lost to Vega - Duration: 3:19.

Hey, buddy!

Well, come on!

"Why did you pick Ursa against Vega?"

Let me check what happened there.

We had Tiny, Weaver and Death Prophet.

Which is already a lot of physical damage.

Since we didn't want to pick Tiny as a core,

and Vega had Witch Doctor, Jakiro, Lifestealer and Night Stalker...

We needed a hero that could lane well against their lineup,

and have impact throughout the game, so Ursa fit in perfectly.

But Vega had last pick,

they needed a support and they picked Chen,

whom they hadn't picked in about 20 games.

Chen destroyed our lanes.

But even though he destroyed our lanes, we still managed to come back

and even had a 6k gold lead at some point.

But we threw it away after a Roshan fight.

Overall, we played pretty passively,

with our heroes.

Go for Bane!

It feels so nice to kill him after a buyback!

I'm TPing in.

We can take down Furion too.

Go find more.

He deals too much damage.

We got lucky there were no enemy creeps around, he could've destroyed our ancient.

Diabolic deals insane damage.

Unleashing the Wealthy, Ultra-Successful Agent Within You - #TomFerryShow - Duration: 10:20.

- There's an uber successful, wealthy person

who's fighting to get out of you.

(motivating rock music)

Hey, welcome to the Tom Ferry Show.

I want to have a very, be honest conversation.

I had a recent coaching session with someone that...

And you know this...

Have you ever met someone that when they're talking to you,

you just want to start pulling your hair out of your head

because you look at them and say,

"there is an uber successful, extremely wealthy person

"inside of you who is fighting to get out,"

but this perfectionist, dabbler, fixed mindset

individual keeps suppressing them?

Do you know anybody like that?

Maybe, personally?

Like, maybe the person holding your phone right now,

watching this show?

Well, consider the following.

You ready?

I sat with this individual, fixed mindset,

this is what I know,

this person's just full of excuses,

and by the way, they're really persuasive.

They're like "no, see, the reason why

"I've got this extra five pounds on my body

"is I've got big bones."

Right, they tell these stories to rationalize

why they don't go out and take the action that they should.

Do you know someone like that?

They're constantly saying things like,

"well I couldn't do that

"because I don't want to be embarrassed.

"What if I look bad?

"What if I do it the wrong way?

"I'm too 'this' for that-

"I'm too old, I'm to young, I'm too new to the business,

"I'm too experienced, I'm a veteran."

They have all these excuses

and they keep that fixed mindset.

We know if you're not in a growth mindset

you're never going to reach your potential.

The second one is the perfectionist.

This person is a control freak.

Do you know someone like that?

Who literally is, you know,

"I need the perfect script Tom.

"I need the right CRM.

"If it's not perfect I can't use it.

"I need to get organized before I make my phone calls."

This person is literally playing a game inside their head

actually thinking that if they are organized

and they have the right CRM that

that would be the reason that they suddenly

generated more business and they became more successful.

Listen to me,

I know plenty of people that don't have a CRM,

that make stuff up as they're talking to clients,

but they just care deeply and passionately

and they just take action.

You with me on this?

So, the perfectionist never wins.

They keep that uber successful, wealthy person

inside you suppressed.

But the last one is the dabbler.

Do you know any dabblers?

You know, they do a little of this,

a little of that, little of this,

they definitely need a little more focus.

Right?

I don't know if I want to call them ADHD or ADD

or if they just simply...

They just get caught up in the shiny penny syndrome.

Do you know someone who's constantly-

oh look at this,

oh, oh this is it,

this is how I'm suddenly gonna become successful.

Like, they're looking for these

get rich quick schemes and while they're doing that,

they're suppressing that uber successful,

wealthy individual who's only going to show up my friends,

if you begin to make changes.

And my question for you is, of those three,

the perfectionist, the dabbler, or event the fixed mindset,

which one of those resonates for you?

Which one of those, like, is speaking to you as I say it?

You and I both know awareness is the first step of change.

Right?

The moment you can say "hello my name is and I'm a-"

"I'm a dabbler.

"God Tom, I get distracted all the time.

"Tom, it's true, I've got this fixed mindset

"and you don't understand because of my past

"and this is what I believe and you don't know my parents

"and when I was three I wanted a pony

"and I didn't get one."

Like, they have these stories

that they keep bringing to the surface

to make it their reality to protect themselves,

when no one's attacking.

Except for that uber successful, really wealthy person

who's inside of you fighting to come out.

Which of those three resonates for you?

Now listen, if you and I were sitting together face to face,

I think about the number of people

that I have helped in my career have a massive breakthrough,

it was always just three things.

And the last person that I talked to

that really inspired this show,

I said, "we are just going to take action on three things.

"Here's how you have a breakthrough."

If you're listening,

by the way, this is probably gonna be a show

you're gonna send to your teenager,

you're gonna send to your 42 year old son

who's still living in the basement still smoking weed,

you're gonna send this to all of your friends,

all of your peers,

because you love them and you see their potential.

And they know they have it and you're looking

for a way to help them get it out.

Here's the three things, you ready?

Number one, you remove all the distractions

and you commit to one thing.

Now, when I say commit to one thing,

I'm referring to one discipline, one behavior.

Let's keep it simple, you ready?

I'm going to talk to ten people in my database every day.

Now I know there's a thousand distractions

and oh my goodness and I'm busy and I've got a showing

and then I've got family coming in town.

It doesn't matter.

You're going to get to one thing.

One thing.

Now, I'm old school.

Do you remember the, what are those things called, dominoes?

You guys remember dominoes?

Did you ever...

I'm talking to my team here...

Did you ever line up the dominoes,

like with your kids,

and then the fun of like hitting that first domino

and seeing

(clicking sound)

how many will fall down?

I'm looking for what's the one commitment you can make

that would be the first domino, metaphorically,

that as you push that one,

(clicking sound)

everything begins to happen automatically.

Does that make sense?

Now, for many people that could be

the discipline of getting up early.

It could be the discipline of getting to the gym.

It could be the discipline of eating better,

stopping doing something that is causing you

to not sleep well at night.

Making your phone calls, perfecting your presentations...

And I know perfectionist is on my list,

but you know what I mean,

role playing I should say.

The bottom line is what is that one thing

that's gonna move the needle for you

that's gonna cause you, over time,

to have a massive breakthrough?

Commit to one.

Number two, this is where it gets interesting,

you've gotta make promises and verbal commitments

to people that love and respect you

and will confront you if they see you

not taking the right action.

Let me say it to you again.

You gotta make promises,

like, "Jillian, I commit, I'm going to do this."

Five days a week, like for me,

I'm working out five days a week since Thanksgiving.

I posted on my Instagram stories

and I put "this is the number of the 250

"I'm gonna do for the year"

and I'm telling 40,000 people.

Does that make sense?

Like, you've gotta put your commitment out there.

Now, I know the fixed mindset person gets nervous.

The dabbler really gets...

Oh, what if I find something else that's better?

What if, suddenly, doing 16 videos,

or trying this, or doing that,

is going to make my life...

No.

Commit to one thing and then tell all the people around you

and then give them permission to hold you accountable.

Give that, like tell your coach,

tell your manager,

tell your best friend,

tell your parents,

tell your 15 year old daughter.

And say, "when I follow through on this,

"I'm buying you X,"

You with me on this?

And incentivize them to just stay on you.

Cause guess what?

When you are going from "here are my goals

"and here are my behaviors,

"here are my goals and here are my actions,

"here's what I say I want but here's what I actually do,"

that battle to get you aligned is going to require

more people around you supporting you.

You can't do it in your head and you can't do it alone.

You know it and I know it.

There's a reason why Jenny Craig and AA and church exist.

We're better together.

Does that make sense?

Number three, I wrote down

you should create a massive, painful consequence

for not following through.

Massive.

I go back to old school.

I had a thing called MAPS,

almost, my goodness, 13 - 14 years ago,

and I called it the "Massive Accountability Program."

And I only had, I don't know,

30 - 40 clients who participated in this,

but I made them all write me six checks

for a thousand dollars each

and I would literally...

"Carol, who's the one political party

"you would never want the money to go to?"

And they would go "I want it to go to party X."

And that's who I would make all the checks payable to.

And then I would associate a letter to it.

Right?

You would be surprised the impact

of six checks to an ex spouse,

six checks to a broker who told you

you would never amount to anything,

six checks to a political party

you would hate the money to go to,

that that pain will actually drive you

to follow through and take action.

Tony Robbins made his entire career on this.

"We'll all do more to avoid pain

"than we will to gain pleasure."

Now, remember, we're trying to get us

to this is what we say we want,

and these are our behaviors.

We want to align and commit

and remove the perfectionist.

Remove the dabbler.

Remove that person who is so stuck in their fixed mindset

and work beyond that.

Because the uber successful, wealthy person wants out.

Are you with me on this?

That person wants out and the way you're gonna get there

is you're gonna commit to one thing.

You're gonna follow through every day.

You're gonna tell all the people around you,

"This is what I'm committed to."

And you're gonna have a painful consequence

and yes, have a pleasurable thing at the end

that's that pot at the end of the rainbow

for when you take action.

Now, I know this is a lot to digest

and I'm doing it very quickly,

but this is what I wrote down for you.

Bottom line, everything that's worthwhile

takes longer than you want.

You can't just go, "hey let's have a baby,"

(buzzer sound)

hit the microwave button and boom, here's your child.

No, it takes nine months and here's my point to you.

Every marketing campaign,

every lead generation,

every system, every process in your business,

everything takes longer than you ever desire.

Build that house, it takes longer than you want.

Do a remodel, it takes longer than you want.

Cement a beautiful relationship,

it takes longer than you want to really get deep,

versus that person that's on an interview with you

while you're on a date.

You know what I'm saying?

So the bottom line is this,

the uber successful, the wealthy person inside you,

wants out, and the question is,

are you going to let them out?

Are you sure you won't regret...

Coming back here?

President Jang will make your life miserable now.

Can you handle it?

Dad said

the most important thing in a fight

is to not get scared.

If you get scared and close your eyes,

you can't see where the punch is coming from,

so you'll lose.

Mom,

I didn't come back because I think

I can endure it.

I came because I think I can win.

Trust me.

I know you'll do well.

Starting today,

you're to eat breakfast with the family.

It's the chairman's orders.

The chairman and Madam Eun are okay but...

I have to eat with President Jang?

It's going to be so uncomfortable.

The chairman never eats

with anyone who isn't family.

Seyeon, you're the very first.

He's being particularly thoughtful,

so don't make any mistakes.

Okay...

Here.

(Mealtime Manual)

Why are there so many rules for mealtime?

If someone superior to you criticizes a dish,

do not eat it

no matter how good it tastes?

Let's go.

It's time for breakfast.

I'm nervous.

I feel like I'm going not to eat

but to take an exam.

I'm sorry.

I suddenly have the hiccups.

Are you okay?

What's wrong?

Goodness...

If you tug your tongue,

air enters your trachea

and stops the hiccups.

It doesn't look very dignified

but it's a good tip.

Shopper Hong.

Please refrain from doing offensive things at the table.

There's another benefit from pulling at things.

Especially for people who can't control their rage.

If you pull your ears first thing in the morning,

it calms them down all day long

and clears their head.

Yes. I've heard about applying acupressure

on the ear, which is supposed to be...

Beneficial for your health.

30 years ago, Chairman Eun's son, Eun Minsu...

Was kicked out for loving a lowly factory girl.

Eun Minsu, his wife and Yeongsuk knew each other.

They were close enough

to live together in this tiny house for a year.

Just wait.

Seyeon and Yeongsuk...

I'll expose your true identities.

May I come in?

Sure.

Wow.

It's completely different

from your room in our house.

Wow...

Even your cosmetics are really fancy.

Do you use an eyebrow pencil and concealer too?

In this house, it's a duty to wear makeup.

When I go out with Ms. Gyeonghye,

I need to look good too.

I see.

You wear earrings too?

I've never seen you wear earrings before.

Try them on. Here.

You look so pretty.

You should wear earrings in front of dad too.

Dad doesn't like earrings.

Wow.

Do you know...

Why you heat the teacup before drinking the tea?

If the teacup is cold,

the tea loses its scent.

The same goes for people.

Your heart must be warm

to keep your scent as a person.

Only then will people gather around you.

A person without a warm heart

is bound to be lonely.

Start by learning how to be patient

with Shopper Hong

as well as other employees.

Learn how to be generous first.

Yes.

I'll try.

I plan to start entrusting you

with company matters now.

Grandpa.

However...

I always choose

talented people.

Even my own granddaughter isn't exempt.

Prove to me

that you have the ability.

What

must I do?

I want you to come up

with the concept for this season's new product line.

I heard you went out.

I had to buy some things.

Clothes and parts to practice with.

Give them to me.

Sorry?

I'm not taking them away. I'll carry them for you.

It's okay.

I'm being generous. I'm helping you.

Do you not like it?

They're supplies for making earrings.

You'll make earrings yourself?

You can just buy them. Why would you...

Do you want to try? It's fun.

It's okay.

It's pretty.

You did very well for your first time.

Yours isn't bad either.

I'm going to give these to my mom.

How does it feel?

What do you mean?

Having a mom.

What does it feel like

to have a mom?

It's like knowing someone is always with me

and always on my side.

That feeling must be nice.

Madam Eun asked me

something sad today.

She asked what it feels like to have a mom.

She asked you that?

Yes.

I've never heard anyone ask something like that.

Whenever my friends

bragged about trips they took with their moms,

I was so jealous and curious.

I wondered what it felt like

to go on a trip with mom

and how happy it would be.

But seeing someone

who doesn't have a mom at all...

It made me really sad.

Did you want to go on a trip with me

that badly?

Of course.

Taking a trip with their moms

is every daughter's dream.

We never went on a trip just the two of us.

Let's go one day, okay?

Okay,

let's do that.

Dad?

I'll go now.

Dad.

Seyeon.

What brings you here?

Seyeon, do you remember

my boxing junior,

Choi Ginam?

You know, he has a big mole right here,

and he used to bring lots of chips

whenever he came over.

What's the point?

He made you buy a whole bunch of jade mats

in that pyramid scheme.

That's all in the past.

I heard the head of HR here

is Ginam's younger brother.

The security department is hiring and he said

he'd recommend me.

He said I can get it if I pay the hiring deposit.

He told you to pay a hiring deposit?

But Seyeon...

If you don't like it,

I'll look for something else.

Why?

I think I'd be happy to

see you every day,

but I'm worried that you, going to work

all dressed up like this, may be embarrassed of me.

How do you think I'd feel

if you were to work here?

I guess you wouldn't like it, right?

I'll become

the strongest person at the company.

The champion fighter with iron fists, Hong Pilmok,

will appear out of nowhere

and take my side.

Dad,

here.

Give them to mom when

she comes home this weekend.

Your mom doesn't wear earrings.

Give them to her.

You'll get to see mom look incredibly pretty.

Okay.

Once I get hired to be a security guard here,

I'll take her out to a nice restaurant

and give them to her.

He said it's a done deal if I pay the deposit,

so I'll get it for sure.

Mr. Lee.

Hello?

You picked up.

I called earlier but you didn't pick up

and didn't call me back, so...

That's why I came to your room and...

I see.

I just want to ask you one thing.

Ask away.

You don't have to answer

if you don't want to.

I heard our company was hiring a new security guard.

Can I find out if the new guard

has to pay a hiring deposit to get the job?

I'm asking this because my dad was given that offer.

Our company does not receive a deposit

in exchange for hiring an employee.

I knew it.

I need to tell my dad right away.

Thank you.

Tie up your hair.

Actually it looks better untied.

Bring me water.

Warm water.

Okay.

I really like your polite and

subservient attitude.

Keep it up.

I want warm water.

Ms. Gyeonghye...

I have a favor to ask.

Don't ask me anything

about President Jang.

Please go on an outing with me tomorrow.

An outing?

Do you remember?

When you were little,

you wanted to ride the train

and cried all day, so I carried you there.

I'm sure it's filled with flowers since it's spring.

Please, Ms. Gyeonghye.

Was this place always this run down?

After they shut down the station, they made it look old

to make it a place for people to reminisce.

Did trains used to come by

when we came long time ago?

Yes.

The train came here from Seoul Station.

I wish I could've come when the train used to come.

My goodness!

He's on a leash.

Don't worry. Let's go.

Please eat with us.

I'm fine. I'm not hungry.

I'll get another drink.

I'll be right back.

No, I'm fine.

One second.

That time...

In front of President Jang...

The things I said to you.

I didn't mean it.

Telling you not to act out of line...

Or that I would get you for it.

All of it.

I know.

When I said that...

I wanted to cry.

Because I felt like you'd want to cry.

Let us...

Take a photo.

I'll take yours first.

Okay.

1, 2, 3.

Come on. Smile.

Okay.

1, 2, 3.

Watch this.

Oh?

Your mom...

Is so happy today.

Are you girls happy too?

You approved the luxury goods store project?

I told you over and over...

That thousands of lives depend on every document

the person in this position signs

and tens of millions of dollars are at stake.

Tell me.

What were you thinking

when you signed it?

Honey...

Say it was your style.

Look as dumb as possible.

It was my style.

You couldn't differentiate shopping and business?

I had no idea you were so immature

and entrusted you with launching the new brand.

I'm sorry.

It's my fault for not being more attentive.

I'll meet with the contractors

and figure out a way to stop it.

It's too late.

It'll only make us look bad.

And if word gets out

that I canceled something Gyeonghye approved of...

It will hurt her chances at succeeding me.

Then...

For now...

Go ahead with it.

However...

Find a way to reduce the budget.

I'll think about

what to do thereafter.

Yes, sir.

Hi.

- Hello. / - I'm here.

Look.

For radish, you want one with thin skin

and without little sprouts like this one.

It shouldn't make a noise when you knock on it.

You know one but not the other.

Cheolsu.

What are you doing here?

Give me that.

If the green part is too light, it doesn't taste good.

The darker the green, the sweeter it is.

That's what tastes good.

Hold on. If it were me...

Ah.

I'd choose this one.

Ma'am, I'll take this one.

You're a pro at picking out radishes.

Not really...

Just a minute.

Hello?

Really?

Do you mean it?

Thank you.

Kkotnim, what is it?

What happened?

What is it?

Detective Yu just said

that the request to reopen my hit-and-run case

was granted.

Really?

That's so great!

Then you can catch the culprit

and find your family.

That's so great!

I'm so happy for you!

Hurray!

That's so great.

That's great.

What?

The hit-and-run case...

From 5 years ago is being reopened.

Sports look.

I think this is too common.

Party look.

I think this appeals to only a small demographic.

Something new that appeals to a large demographic.

That's what I need.

Take a break and look at the pictures.

They came out nice.

Not particularly.

I like it because both of you

are smiling.

I'm going to use this as my profile pic.

You should upload this as yours.

I despise things like that.

It's a trend to post pictures

of yourself wearing

something pretty while on a trip.

- A trip. / - A trip.

Did you find her?

Shopper Hong.

Thanks.

Shopper Hong.

90.

95.

100.

We're done!

Do you

want to go out and celebrate?

Celebrate?

You should try this too.

Forget it.

Throw a punch to wish for

a successful new brand.

Put in the coin.

The angle of your fist is important.

That felt good.

Put in more coins.

You'll hurt your wrist if you do it more than 3 times.

Let's go for round two.

Round two?

When you want something refreshing,

it's chicken and beer.

When life gets you down,

it's soju and chicken feet.

When you need consoling,

it's rice wine and scallion pancakes.

Since it's a fun celebration today

so chicken and beer.

Let's have just one drink each.

I know a place with really good beer.

Where is it?

Oh?

I'm sorry but we're closed.

Give me a beer.

Just one, please.

I've had a tough day.

Okay then.

But we can't make you any food to go with it.

That's fine.

Please save me.

Excuse me.

Please save me.

Here's your beer.

You seem familiar.

Haven't we met before?

Do you know me?

Actually, I lost my memory

in a car accident.

I may not remember

meeting you.

That's a relief.

Pardon?

I had a nuisance to deal with

but the beer gave me strength.

And after hearing your voice some more...

You're definitely not the person

that I know.

I see.

Gyeonghye.

You must never find out

that this woman is alive.

Live the rest of your life as a murderer while

feeling like you're being crushed by a boulder.

Hi, Kkotnim.

This isn't something that you could've thought of.

Was it Hong Seyeon?

Those two are much closer than you think.

You're the 26th class of designer trainees, right?

You have two things to get done today.

Think of the chairman's dignity.

Don't embarrass him by being ordered around

by an employee.

Nothing good will come of getting involved with them.

I won't do that anymore.

I won't give them my sincerity.

Living a Life You Love - Part 2 - Enjoying Everyday Life - Duration: 28:34.

ANNOUNCER: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MADE POSSIBLE

BY THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT LOVING YOUR COMFORT.

I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT LOVING VACATION

OR LOVING WEEKENDS.

I'M TALKING ABOUT LOVING YOUR LIFE,

EVERY SEASON OF YOUR LIFE.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: TO LOVE YOUR LIFE--

HOW MANY OF YOU WANNA LOVE YOUR LIFE,

I MEAN REALLY LOVE YOUR LIFE?

OKAY WELL, IF YOU REALLY WANNA LOVE

YOUR LIFE THEN GET THE WORD "HATE" OUT OF YOUR VOCABULARY.

"I HATE THE TRAFFIC."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "I HATE MY JOB.

I HATE DOING DISHES.

I HATE CHANGING THE OIL IN THE CAR."

HERE'S A REALLY GOOD ONE.

"I HATE UNLOADING THE DISHWASHER."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW, THAT IS PATHETIC.

YOU USED TO HATE TO DO DISHES.

NOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO DISHES ANYMORE.

NOW YOU HATE TO UNLOAD THE AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER

THAT DOES THEM FOR YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: COME ON.

"I HATE THE WAY I LOOK.

I HATE THE WAY I FEEL."

WELL, DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

"WELL, NO, I JUST WISH MY LIFE WAS DIFFERENT."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: GET THE WORD "HATE" OUT OF YOUR VOCABULARY.

THE ONLY THING WE CAN HATE IS WICKEDNESS, AND SIN, AND EVIL

BUT YOU DON'T GET TO HATE ANY PEOPLE.

EH, EH, YEAH REALLY, NO PEOPLE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: DON'T GET TO HATE ANY PEOPLE.

YOU SAY, "CAN I JUST BE MAD AT 'EM?"

NO, YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO DO THAT EITHER.

YEAH, WE'LL GET TO THAT SOMETIME TOO.

SO, LOVE NEEDS TO BE THE CENTRAL THEME OF OUR LIFE.

THE WORST-SELLING BOOK I EVER HAD WAS A BOOK ON LOVE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: IT WAS PITIFUL, I MEAN PITIFUL, PITIFUL.

IT WAS JUST TERRIBLE.

AND IT WAS ABOUT A LOVE REVOLUTION,

LIKE TURNING YOUR LIFE INTO A--

I GOT SO EXCITED ABOUT THE BOOK.

LIKE, TURN YOUR LIFE IN--

LET'S START A REVOLUTION OF LOVE.

WE GOT A WORLD FULL OF HATRED.

LET'S--CHRISTIANS, LET'S GET OUT THERE

AND FORGET ABOUT OURSELVES AND LOVE PEOPLE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WELL, YEAH, YOU'RE CLAPPING HERE.

DID YOU BUY THE BOOK?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY OF YOU BOUGHT THE BOOK,

"THE LOVE REVOLUTION"?

WELL, THAT'S MORE THAN I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT.

PRAISE GOD.

I FINALLY GOT MAD AND JUST STARTED

GIVING THEM AWAY.

I THOUGHT--

AND IT WAS A GOOD BOOK.

THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BOOK

BUT THE THING IS IS PEOPLE AREN'T INTERESTED IN THAT.

NOW, IF YOU SAY HOW TO BE A MILLIONAIRE OVERNIGHT,

WELL, GET READY FOR THE BEST-SELLERS' LIST.

"LORD, GIVE ME WHAT I NEED, NOT WHAT I WANT."

NEW PRAYER.

ANYBODY BOLD ENOUGH TO PRAY THAT?

"LORD, GIVE ME WHAT I NEED, NOT WHAT I WANT

AND GIVE IT TO ME IN YOUR TIMING, NOT IN MINE."

WHOO!

"GIVE ME HOWEVER MUCH MONEY I CAN HANDLE AND NOT EVER LET IT

GET MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU."

DAVID PRAYED, "DON'T GIVE ME TOO MUCH LEST I FORGET YOU.

AND DON'T GIVE ME TOO LITTLE, LEST I COMPLAIN AGAINST YOU."

SO, HE WAS PRAYING THAT HE GOT JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT

OF WHAT HE COULD HANDLE AND STILL KEEP GOD FIRST

IN HIS LIFE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, LOVE NEEDS TO BE THE CENTRAL THEME OF OUR LIFE,

BUT IT WILL NOT BE IF WE DON'T DO IT ON PURPOSE.

THERE IS JUST TOO MUCH SELFISHNESS IN OUR FLESH

TO EVER GET OUT OF BED EVERY DAY AND LAY OUR LIVES DOWN

AND PUT OTHER PEOPLE FIRST IF WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF HELP

FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT AND IF WE DON'T DO IT

ON PURPOSE.

AND SEE, THIS IS LIKE KIND OF LIKE

A NEW IDEA FOR A LOT OF YOU.

IT'S KIND OF LIKE, HMM?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "I DON'T KNOW, YOU WANNA COME BACK TOMORROW

OR NOT?"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "I THOUGHT THIS MIGHT BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT

THAN THIS."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: LOVE GOES IN A LOT OF DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS.

FIRST YOU--YOU REALLY DON'T--

YOU CAN'T LOVE ANYTHING TILL YOU LET GOD LOVE YOU.

THAT'S WHERE IT ALL BEGINS.

HE'S THE BEGINNING OF ALL THINGS.

AND SO, THE LOVE OF GOD HAS BEEN SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS

BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.

HE IS LOVE.

IT'S JUST NOT SOMETHING HE DOES AND HIS LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL.

AND GOD JUST LOVES YOU AND YOU CAN'T BUY HIS LOVE.

THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO EXCEPT RECEIVE IT

BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T.

AND SO, IN JOHN 15:9 JESUS SAID, "I HAVE LOVED YOU

JUST AS THE FATHER HAS LOVED ME.

ABIDE IN MY LOVE."

NOW ABIDE MEANS TO LIVE, DWELL, AND REMAIN.

I LOVE THAT WORD "ABIDE."

"IF YOU ABIDE IN ME AND MY WORD ABIDES IN YOU,

YOU CAN ASK WHAT YOU WILL AND I'LL DO IT.

BUT APART FROM ME, YOU CAN DO NOTHING."

THAT'S IN JOHN 15.

SO, HE SAID, "I LOVE YOU, NOW ABIDE IN MY LOVE."

JESUS WAS LETTING GOD'S LOVE, HIS FATHER'S LOVE,

FLOW TO HIM AND THROUGH HIM.

SEE, YOU CAN'T LOVE ANYBODY ELSE IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED

GOD'S LOVE AND WHEN YOU RECEIVE GOD'S LOVE--

NOW LISTEN TO ME VERY CAREFULLY.

WHEN WE RECEIVE GOD'S LOVE, THEN WE LOVE OURSELVES

NOT SELFISHLY, BUT IN A HEALTHY WAY

BECAUSE THE BEST GIFT THAT YOU CAN GIVE THE WORLD

IS A HEALTHY, TOGETHER, SECURE, CONFIDENT YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: THAT'S MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN

YOUR GIFTS AND TALENTS.

I WOULD RATHER WORK WITH SOMEBODY

THAT WAS A LITTLE LESS TALENTED AND WAS REAL SECURE

THAN TO WORK WITH SOMEBODY WHO'S GOT ALL KINDS OF TALENTS

BUT BOY, IF YOU DON'T LIKE ONE LITTLE, TEENY, TINY THING

THAT THEY DO "WELL," THEN THEY'RE ALL OFFENDED.

HOW MANY OF YOU JUST IT WEARS YOU OUT

DEALING WITH INSECURE PEOPLE?

NOW SEE, SOME OF YA ARE INSECURE AND YOU THINK I'M BEING MEAN.

I AM NOT BEING MEAN.

I'M JUST SIMPLY SAYING THAT IT IS REALLY, REALLY, REALLY

HARD ON RELATIONSHIPS IF ONE PERSON HAS TO SPEND

ALL THEIR TIME TRYING TO KEEP THE OTHER PERSON FIXED.

AND YOU MIGHT BE THINKING, SEE, YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT

WHETHER YOU WANNA CLAP FOR THIS BECAUSE WE'VE COME TO FEEL SORRY

FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE LIKE THAT.

BUT HERE'S THE THING, JESUS CAME TO HEAL US FROM THAT

SO WE DON'T HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT SO WE CAN BE FULL OF CONFIDENCE,

SO WE CAN DO GREAT THINGS, SO WE CAN BE WORLD CHANGERS,

SO WE CAN HAVE AN AMAZING LIFE, NOT SO WE CAN JUST WIMP AROUND

AND HAVE PEOPLE FEEL SORRY FOR US

ALL OF OUR LIVES.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HEY, I GOT ALL KINDS OF REASONS

I CAN FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF.

MY FATHER ABUSED ME.

MY MOTHER DIDN'T HELP ME.

AND I DID THAT FOR A LOT OF YEARS.

I JUST SAT IN MY PIT AND FELT SORRY FOR MYSELF,

BUT I AIN'T DOING THAT ANYMORE.

YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE A GOOD START, BUT YOU CAN HAVE A GOOD FINISH

BUT A LOT OF IT IS UP TO YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AMEN?

AND THE ONLY WAY THAT WE CAN BE SECURE

IS TO RECEIVE MEGADOSES OF GOD'S LOVE.

"GOD LOVES ME. HE LOVES ME."

I REMEMBER BACK 38 YEARS AGO WHEN I WOULD STAND

AND LOOK AT MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AND SAY, "GOD LOVES YOU."

'CAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE THAT REVELATION.

I WASN'T LOVED AS A CHILD AND I DIDN'T HAVE

THAT REVELATION IN MY LIFE.

AND GUESS WHAT.

I COULDN'T REALLY LOVE ANYBODY ELSE.

I WAS HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING ALONG WITH PEOPLE.

I WAS HAVING A HARD TIME IN ALL MY RELATIONSHIPS

'CAUSE I WASN'T GETTING ALONG WITH MYSELF.

ARE YOU THERE?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: IF YOU DON'T LOVE YOU, HOW CAN YOU LOVE ANYBODY ELSE?

YOU CAN'T GIVE AWAY WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE.

DON'T EVER SAY, "I HATE MYSELF."

JUST FORGET TALKING ABOUT ALL THE STUFF YOU DON'T LIKE

ABOUT YOURSELF TOO.

YOU CAN NOT LIKE YOUR SIN AND STILL LOVE YOURSELF.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "ARE YOU SURE ABOUT ALL THIS, JOYCE?"

WELL, YEAH, PRETTY SURE.

PRETTY SURE.

WE CAN BE SECURE.

YOU KNOW HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO BE FREE TO BE WHO YOU ARE,

TO BE SECURE IN GOD'S LOVE FOR YOU

AND TO NOT EVEN HAVE TO FALL APART

EVERY TIME YOU MAKE A MISTAKE?

LISTEN, I REPENT ALL THE TIME.

I'M A CHIEF REPENTER.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AMEN?

BUT I TELL YA WHAT I DON'T DO, I DON'T WASTE ONE MINUTE

OF MY LIFE FEELING GUILTY.

BUT I DID.

I WASTED A LOT OF IT FEELING GUILTY.

GOD'S LOVE IS NOT BASED ON YOU NEVER MAKING A MISTAKE.

AMEN?

AND YOU CAN LOVE YOUR IMPERFECT SELF.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO--

DON'T LOVE YOUR SIN, BUT YOU CAN JUST--

YOU CAN FACE IT.

YOU KNOW, I JUST--I JUST--

I MEAN I'LL JUST TELL YOU THE TRUTH RIGHT HERE.

LOOK AT ME, I'M JUST KIND OF IMPATIENT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND I MEAN, I'VE GOTTEN BETTER OVER 40 YEARS

BUT I STILL GOT A LONG WAY TO GO, AMEN?

NOW, DAVE IS JUST--

HE WAS BORN PATIENT.

DRIVES ME NUTS.

HE JUST WAS JUST LIKE, "SURE, THAT'S FINE.

TAKE YOUR TIME."

I'M LIKE, "WHY AREN'T YOU READY?

YOU KNEW WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LEAVING RIGHT NOW.

NOW, LET'S GO. WHY AREN'T YOU READY?

YOU'RE NEVER READY.

"DON'T STRESS YOURSELF OUT, HONEY," HE SAYS.

"JUST TAKE YOUR TIME."

UNLESS HE'S GOING TO PLAY GOLF AND THAT'S ANOTHER STORY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, WELL IT IS.

HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW YOUR WEAKNESSES?

HOW MANY OF YOU ARE IMPATIENT?

HOW MANY OF YOU TALK TOO MUCH?

THAT MOUTH GETS YOU IN TROUBLE, WHOO!

HOW MANY OF YOU LIKE TO BE IN CONTROL?

WE CAN JUST STAND HERE AND DO THIS ALL NIGHT.

THIS WOULD BE LIKE GETTING EXERCISE, WOULDN'T IT?

[JOYCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW HOW MAD IT MAKES THE DEVIL WHEN YOU KNOW

WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST AND YOU KNOW

WHAT YOU'RE NOT BY YOURSELF?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND YOU STILL LIKE YOURSELF ANYWAY?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: DO YOU KNOW HOW UPSET HE IS THAT

YOU'RE HEARING THIS TONIGHT, THAT YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY

BE ABLE TO GO HOME AND SAY, "I LOVE MYSELF.

I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE MYSELF."

AND THEN YOU WHAT HAPPENED?

YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET UP TOMORROW

AND LOVE SOME OF OTHER PEOPLE THAT LIVE WITH YOU.

AND THEY MIGHT SAY, "GO BACK IN THE MORNING.

PLEASE GO TO ALL FOUR SESSIONS."

I HAVEN'T GOTTEN VERY FAR TONIGHT

BUT WE'RE HAVING FUN AND WE'RE LEARNING SOMETHING, RIGHT?

NOW HERE, ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT I CAN TELL YOU

ABOUT THIS THING ABOUT REALLY KNOWING

THAT GOD LOVES YOU I LEARNED FROM 1 JOHN 4:16.

AND THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS, AMPLIFIED VERSION.

I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE NEVER GOTTEN THIS OUT OF IT

IF I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN READING AMPLIFIED.

"AND WE KNOW (WE UNDERSTAND, WE RECOGNIZE,

WE'RE CONSCIOUS OF--"

AND ALL THESE WORDS ARE IMPORTANT.

"(BY OBSERVATION AND BY EXPERIENCE)

AND WE BELIEVE (ADHERE TO AND PUT FAITH IN AND RELY ON)

THE LOVE THAT GOD CHERISHES FOR US."

SO, WHAT'S HE SAYING?

HE'S SAYING, "LOOK, I AM REALLY CONSCIOUSLY AWARE

OF GOD'S LOVE."

IT'S NOT JUST LIKE OH, YOU COME TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY

AND THE PASTOR SAYS, "GOD LOVES YOU,"

AND YOU CLAP AND SAY, "AMEN."

NO, YOU ABIDE IN THE LOVE OF GOD.

YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING REALIZING THAT GOD LOVES YOU.

YOU WATCH FOR HIS LOVE ALL THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

HE SAYS WE'RE TO COME TO HIM LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN.

WE NEED TO START GETTING EXCITED ABOUT ALL THE DOZENS

OF LITTLE THINGS THAT GOD DOES FOR US

THAT WE HAVE EFFECTIVELY LEARNED TO IGNORE.

I'LL GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE.

LAST WEEK ON TUESDAY, I WANTED TO GET AN APPOINTMENT

TO DO SOMETHING ON WEDNESDAY AT A PLACE THAT'S PRETTY BUSY.

AND NOT ONLY DID I WANT TO GET AN APPOINTMENT,

THE BEST TIME FOR ME TO GO WOULD BE 1:30.

NOW, YOU KNOW, IN THE NATURAL WITHOUT SOME HELP,

THERE'S NOT MUCH CHANCE OF THAT.

AND SO AT FIRST I SAID NAH.

AND THEN I THOUGHT SO I JUST A REAL QUICK LITTLE PRAYER,

"LORD, I'D LIKE TO DO THIS.

IF YOU COULD WORK IT OUT FOR ME, I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT."

SO, I CALL THE PLACE AND I SAID, "WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE

ANY APPOINTMENTS IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON?"

SHE SAID, "WE HAVE 1:30."

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: WOW, THANK YOU, JESUS.

NOW, SEE, I--

NOW SOME YOU WOULD SAY, "WELL, YOU KNOW, COINCIDENCE."

UH-UH.

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO.

THAT'S THE KIND OF STUFF WE GOTTA STOP.

LET ME TELL YA SOMETHING, WHEN YOU PUT YOURSELF

IN GOD'S HANDS, YOU NEED TO WATCH FOR HIS LOVE.

YOU NEED TO BE CONSCIOUS OF IT.

YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF IT.

YOU NEED TO MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT.

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: AND WE ESPECIALLY NEED TO MAKE A BIG DEAL

OUT OF THE LITTLE THINGS THAT GOD DOES FOR US.

AND SOME OF THEM A LOT OF TIMES I DON'T EVEN TELL PEOPLE

THOSE THINGS BECAUSE I'VE KIND OF LEARNED

THAT THERE'S A PRECIOUSNESS AND A HOLINESS

THAT COMES INTO MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

IF I HAVE A BUNCH OF SECRETS BETWEEN ME AND HIM.

I MEAN, I SHARE SOME THINGS JUST BECAUSE

I WANNA GET A POINT ACROSS IN TEACHING

BUT THERE'S OTHER THINGS THAT I JUST LEARNED

I JUST NEED TO JUST KEEP QUIET ABOUT THAT AND JUST ENJOY THAT

BETWEEN ME AND GOD.

LET ME TELL YA SOMETHING, GOD LOVES YOU

AND HE WILL SHOW OUT IN YOUR LIFE IF YOU'LL LET HIM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND THEN YOU LOVE HIM IN RETURN.

COME ON, WE GOT A CYCLE OF LOVE GOING HERE.

HE LOVES ME.

I RECEIVE HIS LOVE.

I LEARN TO LOVE MYSELF.

NOW, I'M GONNA LOVE HIM IN RETURN AND IT'S VERY SIMPLE,

THE WAY WE DO THAT IS BY OBEYING HIM, HMM?

JOHN 14:15 JESUS SAID, "IF YOU REALLY LOVE ME

YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDS."

THE SECOND WAY THAT WE SHOW OUR LOVE FOR GOD,

AND IT KIND OF COMES UNDER THIS HEADING OF OBEDIENCE,

IS BY LOVING OTHER PEOPLE, DOING THINGS FOR OTHER PEOPLE.

JESUS SAID TO PETER, IT'S RECORDED

IN JOHN 21:15 THROUGH 18, "PETER, DO YOU LOVE ME?"

"YES LORD, YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU."

HE SAID, "FEED MY SHEEP."

CAN I GIVE YOU MY TRANSLATION WITHOUT OFFENDING ANYBODY?

"PETER, DO YOU LOVE ME?"

"YES LORD, YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU."

"WELL, GO HELP SOMEBODY."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "FEED MY SHEEP" MIGHT SOUND

A LITTLE TOO SPIRITUAL FOR YOU TO GET IT

SO I WANNA BRING IT DOWN TO--

THAT'S WHAT HE WAS SAYING.

HE CONSIDERS US HIS SHEEP AND HE SAID,

"FEED THEM, HELP THEM, DO FOR THEM, MEET THEIR NEEDS."

THREE TIMES, "PETER, DO YOU LOVE ME?"

"YES LORD, YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU."

"FEED MY LAMBS."

"PETER, DO YOU LOVE ME?"

"YES LORD, YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU."

"FEED MY SHEEP."

AND THEN IF WE WENT ON TO VERSES 17 AND 18,

HE PROCEEDS THEN TO TELL PETER SOMETHING THAT WE REALLY

DON'T WANNA HEAR AND THAT WAS, "UP UNTIL NOW,

YOU HAVE KIND OF MADE YOUR OWN PLANS AND DONE

WHATEVER YOU WANTED TO BUT FROM NOW ON,

SOMEBODY ELSE IS GONNA GUIDE YOU AND TAKE YOU TO PLACES

WHERE YOU DO NOT WANNA GO."

OUCH.

SEE, WE DON'T HAVE TO BE WHERE WE WANNA BE.

WE NEED TO BE WHERE GOD NEEDS US.

COME ON NOW.

I SAID, WE DON'T HAVE TO BE WHERE WE WANNA BE.

YOU KNOW, I'LL BE HONEST, NOBODY'S GONNA JUMP UP AND DOWN

ABOUT FLYING 42 HOURS TO GO TO INDIA

BUT THAT'S WHERE GOD NEEDS ME.

AND SO, I'M JUST AS HAPPY TO BE THERE AS I CAN BE.

I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.

YOU KNOW WHAT?

THERE'S A DIFFERENCE IN FLESHLY FUN

AND SPIRITUAL JOY.

DR. PAUL OSTEEN THAT I WAS TALKING TO YA ABOUT EARLIER,

HE'S JUST A FINE MAN OF GOD.

I MEAN, ACTUALLY, ALL THE OSTEENS

ARE JUST GREAT PEOPLE, THEY REALLY ARE.

AND HE--THREE MONTHS, THREE TO FOUR MONTHS

OUT OF EVERY YEAR, HE LEAVES HIS NICE,

AIR-CONDITIONED CHURCH IN HOUSTON AND HIS NICE HOME

AND HE GOES TO AFRICA AND OPERATES ON PEOPLE

FREE OF CHARGE, EVERY YEAR, EVERY YEAR,

EVERY YEAR.

SO, AND HE TOLD ME THE OTHER DAY.

HE SAID, "YOU KNOW, WHEN I WAS IN AFRICA

BEFORE I CAME HOME THIS TIME," HE SAID, "I'D OPERATED ON PEOPLE

ALL DAY ONE DAY AND WAS TIRED."

AND HE SAID, "I WAS WALKING DOWN THE ROAD,"

YOU KNOW, GOING BACK TO WHERE HE STAYED AND HE SAID,

"I JUST THOUGHT THERE IS NO PLACE IN THE WORLD

THAT I WOULD RATHER BE THAN WALKING DOWN THIS ROAD

RIGHT NOW."

LIKE COME ON, THAT'S SOMEBODY WHO LOVES THEIR LIFE.

I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT LOVING YOUR COMFORT.

I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT LOVING VACATION

OR LOVING WEEKENDS.

I'M TALKING ABOUT LOVING YOUR LIFE,

EVERY SEASON OF YOUR LIFE.

WE HAVE GREAT SEASONS AND WE HAVE SEASONS

THAT ARE A LITTLE BIT MORE CHALLENGING.

WE HAVE ONES THAT ARE MORE FUN, SOME THAT AREN'T SO FUN.

WE HAVE SOWING SEASONS.

WE HAVE REAPING SEASONS.

BUT YOU CAN NEVER ENJOY A REAPING SEASON

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SOWING SEASON

AND A SOWING SEASON MEANS YOU'RE GIVING SOMETHING UP,

GIVING SOMETHING UP, GIVING SOMETHING UP,

GIVING SOMETHING UP, GIVING SOMETHING UP.

AND THEN YOU WAIT.

THERE'S SEED TIME AND HARVEST.

NO, LET'S DO IT RIGHT.

SEED, TIME, AND THEN HARVEST.

BUT YOU CAN'T JUST GET EXCITED ABOUT A HARVEST

BECAUSE YOU GOTTA GO THROUGH THE SEED SOWING TIME

TO GET THERE.

AND IT MIGHT BE SOWING SEED INTO A RELATIONSHIP.

YOU KNOW, SOMETIMES YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO

WHAT'S RIGHT FOR A FEW YEARS BEFORE THE PERSON

THAT YOU'RE TREATING RIGHT BEGINS TO TREAT YOU RIGHT.

WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO DO THAT IF MAYBE THAT WOULD BE

THEIR OPEN DOOR TO RECEIVE CHRIST?

"WELL, BLESS GOD, I'M OUT OF HERE.

I AIN'T PUTTING UP WITH THIS."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "WHY'D YOU GET A DIVORCE?"

I ASKED A LADY RECENTLY.

"WELL, WE'RE JUST NOT COMPATIBLE."

I THOUGHT, WELL, WHO IS?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WHO IS JUST NATURALLY COMPATIBLE?

GOD STICKS YOU WITH SOMEBODY THAT'S THE OPPOSITE OF YOU

AND NOT JUST FOR ENTERTAINMENT.

IT SO HAPPENS--

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: IT SO HAPPENS THAT IF YOU WOULD QUIT FINDING

EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THEM, YOU'D FIGURE OUT

THAT THEY'VE GOT SOME STUFF THAT YOU DON'T HAVE

THAT YOU NEED.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I LOVE TO TALK AND DAVE

DOESN'T LIKE TO TALK AS MUCH.

HALLELUJAH, I'VE GOT SOMEBODY TO LISTEN.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: PRAISE GOD, AMEN?

LORD, WE'RE HAVING TOO MUCH FUN TONIGHT.

OBEYING GOD.

"IF YOU REALLY LOVE ME, YOU'LL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS."

AND LOVE PEOPLE.

OH MY, I'VE GOT SO MANY GOOD SCRIPTURES

ON LOVING PEOPLE.

MATTER OF FACT, I'M GONNA HAVE TO PREACH

THE REST OF THIS MESSAGE TOMORROW.

I DON'T KNOW, I STILL GOT BOATLOADS OF THIS.

MY GOODNESS.

1 JOHN 3:11, WE'LL CLOSE WITH THIS.

"FOR THIS IS THE MESSAGE (THE ANNOUNCEMENT)

WHICH YOU HAVE HEARD FROM THE FIRST,

THAT WE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER," AMEN?

YOU KNOW, GOD CREATED US ALL TO BREATHE, DIDN'T HE?

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?

YOU DON'T JUST BREATHE IN, YOU BREATHE OUT.

AND IF PEOPLE JUST WANNA TAKE IN,

"GIVE ME SOMETHING, GIVE ME SOMETHING,

GIVE ME SOMETHING, GIVE ME SOMETHING," AND THEY'RE

NEVER GIVING BACK OUT--

YOU JUST TRY IT.

COME ON, JUST AS WE CLOSE, JUST TRY THIS.

JUST TRY.

JUST TAKE A BREATH AND HOLD IT.

NOW, TAKE ANOTHER BREATH AND HOLD IT.

NOW, COME ON, THERE'S NO LETTING OUT.

TAKE ANOTHER BREATH AND HOLD IT.

TWO MORE.

TAKE ONE MORE BREATH AND HOLD IT.

SEE, YOU'RE NOT CREATED FOR THAT.

AND IF YOU WERE SUCCESSFUL, HONESTLY, YOU WOULD PASS OUT,

YOU REALLY WOULD.

SO, GOD HAS CREATED US TO BREATHE IN

AND TO BREATHE OUT.

SO, WHAT HE WANTS TO DO IS POUR SOMETHING GOOD INTO US

AND THEN HAVE US POUR IT BACK OUT TO SOMEBODY ELSE.

THEN HE POURS SOMETHING GOOD INTO US

AND THEN WE POUR SOMETHING BACK OUT TO SOMEBODY ELSE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, HEY, YOU CAN COME BACK

AND GET MORE OF THIS.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WELL, YOU CAN LOVE AND ENJOY

EVERY SINGLE DAY OF YOUR LIFE.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS.

PSALM 68:19 SAYS, "THE FATHER IN HEAVEN REMINDS US

THAT HE DAILY LOADS US WITH BENEFITS."

DON'T YOU LOVE THAT?

YOU SAY, "WELL, I DON'T KNOW, I'M GOING THROUGH

A PRETTY ROUGH TIME RIGHT NOW."

WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT?

I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH A ROUGH TIME

AND I HAVE COMPASSION, BELIEVE ME I UNDERSTAND,

BUT I'M ENCOURAGING YOU TO FIND SOMETHING IN EVERY DAY

THAT YOU CAN SAY, "I LOVE THAT."

YOU KNOW, I'VE LIVED IN THE HOME THAT I LIVE IN NOW

FOR OVER 12 YEARS AND LAST NIGHT I'D BEEN GONE

FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND I CAME HOME

AND I LOOKED AT MY HOUSE AND I JUST SAID,

"YOU KNOW, LORD, I REALLY LOVE MY HOUSE."

I THINK WE NEED TO TELL GOD THINGS THAT WE LOVE

INSTEAD OF JUST TELLING HIM THINGS THAT WE DON'T LIKE.

TODAY, I'M OFFERING YOU A BOOK CALLED

"LIVING A LIFE THAT YOU LOVE."

IT'S A NEW BOOK THAT WE'VE WRITTEN AND RELEASED,

AND I THINK IT'S GONNA BE A REAL BLESSING TO YOU.

IF YOU'RE GONNA BE ALIVE ANYWAY, YOU MIGHT AS WELL ENJOY IT.

AND WE'RE OFFERING THIS TODAY FOR YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY

OF ANY AMOUNT.

DON'T FORGET, LOVING LIFE TODAY IS KNOWING

THAT GOD HAS BLESSED US WITH EVERY BLESSING

IN THE HEAVENLY REALM.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: DO YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR LIFE OR ARE YOU JUST

KIND OF PUTTING UP WITH IT, GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS

DAY AFTER DAY?

YOU KNOW WHAT?

IF YOU ARE, I CAN HELP YOU.

I'VE WRITTEN A BOOK CALLED, "LIVING A LIFE THAT YOU LOVE,"

AND WITH GOD'S HELP, YOU CAN LEARN TO DO THAT.

Secret of Mana Q&A #11 - Who's your favourite main character? - Duration: 4:22.

Who is your favourite out of Randi, Primm and Popoi, and why?

I'll answer first.

This is partly influenced by the fact that I still have my original image of the game from back when I played it with friends.

but there's also the fact that I was in middle school at the time.

I'd have to say Randi is my favourite.

I played him the most, but he also seemed the most understandable when I was a kid,

So I preferred him.

Of course I like Primm and Popoi as well,

but I was an adolescent then, so Primm…

No, I guess not!

Playing as a girl was kind of…

You were a kid, after all!

As a boy, it was kind of embarrassing to play a girl character.

Yeah, I know how you felt.

Popoi was really popular with everyone -using magic and everything - so that was the character that everyone would compete to play.

Whenever we played, my big brother would generally take Popoi.

He'd say, "Nope, you've gotta be Randi."

So you played with your siblings?

I did, yeah.

I've been playing Randi this whole time, so he's my favourite.

How about you, Mr. Kikuta?

Hearing that story makes me really happy.

Knowing how kids played it back in the day.

Well, my point of view is ultimately that of one of the creators,

but I've always liked sci-fi and fantasy.

The way kids today… no, not today…

In the same way that you guys played video games as kids, we had sci-fi and fantasy.

It took the form of books, movies… I have memories of this stretching back a long way,

but growing up, I never imagined that I'd end up the composer for a fantasy game someday.

But somehow, I've ended up doing this job and had these opportunities.

I think, for me, these fantasy worlds have existed inside my mind ever since I was a kid

But when it came to making them a reality in the form of a game

I was left wondering what I should keep in mind while creating it.

So… to me, while the characters had their appeal,

Secret of Mana was more about creating a world.

Like the Mana Tree, all of the monsters that show up, the world itself…

I had to think about what it would sound like and what music I could use to express that.

The character that was the centre of that was Popoi.

Popoi is the most mysterious… you don't even know if they're a boy or a girl.

Popoi's character really stands out - kind of a cheeky little brat.

All of that makes Popoi really appealing to me.

When I first started composing for this world, Popoi's theme was the first thing I wrote.

And the song that came from that was "The Little Sprite."

When I was working on Secret of Mana, that was the first melody that came to me,

and it was meant to represent Popoi.

In that sense, I would have to say that my favourite character is Popoi.

#57: A HOMELESS GIVES YOU MONEY ! (Social experiment!) - Duration: 8:12.

Hello friends, for our social experience today we wanted to surprise you a little bit,

I'm going to tell you a bit more about today's social experiment, it's very simple: the two persons you see here,

are actors who will pretend they're homeless, on the placard they're holding is written that they are NOT homeless

and that the people who actually read the placard can take the note that is in the plastic cup

On the same placard we also thank them

because they've had a little consideration for our actors today who pretend they were homeless.

For that social experiment we voluntarily wrote a lot on the placard

so it wouldn't be too easy

So, how many people will actually read the placard?

Well, that's what I want you to discover. We had roughly 200 euros to give away

Let's go.

(Question: Do we still read homeless's placard?)

(... Who is going to take it first?)

(The only two persons that stop are actually homeless!)

Sir, hi...

Did you read what was written on the placard?

No, I have to be honest no

Can I come with you so we can read together what's written on the placard?

Yes!

I read it but it didn't interest me, it was made with good intentions!

Well, I propose you take the 10 bucks and you give it to the nest homeless person you see?

Okay, that's a deal!

Take care, bye!

(Number of passersby : more than 1.000)

(Money to take: 50 euros)

(Numbers of passersby: more than 1.000)

And like always in all social experiments,

it's the kids that show the most interest in what is happening around them...

Did you read the placard?

No not really.

Okay, I didn't really pay much attention.

Doesn't matter if we read the placard or not...?

It's the thought that counts

Why did you act like that?

I don't know, for me everyone should help everyone...

When people don't have money, is there for you an alternative?

Yes yes... There is plenty of things to do...

You can just talk with the person

Who is going to read and take it?

Hi sir!

Can you read out what's written on the placard?

I see a cup, so I give.

That's awesome, thanks!

But without reading

But because you ask me to read it I will

First thing first, thanks for your gesture

She is a woman who has all she wants

She has all she has.

And what's happening is, that the placard says that I can take the note.

God holds it for you Madam, it's sweet of you.

If you are okay, you can take it and give it to anyone who really needs it

Do you accept?

A homeless person because Madam is not, you can give it to him.

Is it an experiment?

Yes a social experiment !

second last try

I can't read from far away

What stops you from coming closer and reading?

We considered her as a person, so we can take the note.

Oh, thank you!

He is an actor and has all he wants don't worry.

You give him a bit of attention, you looked a bit at what was written on the placard,

so for that we wanted to thank you with 10 euros.

Is it also the case with you, you don't know how to act with them...

... what's your spirit towards that?

I don't know, I am ashamed to go to them...

Is it true? It's interesting behaviour.

What are you going to do with the 10 euros?

I don't know hahaha!

Ohhhh... But I check your videos on youtube all the time!

Do you recognise me now?

Of course, I watch your videos all the time.

We will see you in those. Bye girls, see you!

Can I take a picture with you?

Of course!

Last try: 50 euros in the cup

On set, a fight breaks out in front of the actor...

This sadly reflects a part of the society, who'd prefer creating a climat of insecurity

instead of acting positively in society

Why, in a society where it is easy to do good,

are there still people who chose to offer us such a scene?

And you, what kind of individual are you in society?

Who do you really wish to be in society?

The one who gives what's worse? Or the one who gives what's the best in them?

Hello.

Wait, wait!

The kid there, made his choice!

I didn't really read everything

but she has needs

Are you French or Flemish?

I am German

Oh, so you're German

And do you give money to homeless people in Belgium?

We give it back to you these 5 euros friend!

This group of boys asks us what it is about?

50 euros? I missed an opportunity.

Sorry, aren't you Jon from Would You React?

Yes, it's me! Everything alright?

Thanks for all your support, written or on the streets, etc...

We're not going to talk about the fight who broke out,

but for me it's important to show the contrast about the good we can give,

and the worse we can give.

So at the end, it turned out to be on the right moment for the video.

What really struck me in this social experiment

is that no one,

no one, no one,

really read the placard!

So even the people who kindly gave money,

didn't read the placard

They gave money and then left.

Our videos aren't meant to judge or criticise

but we want to understand.

I could have been one of these persons who didn't read the placard

And if you agree, I would like for the space underneath this video,

to be a place where we try to understand together, where you give your opinion,

try to understand why it is we don't pay attention

anymore to these placards on the streets?

I am sure there are a lot of you

who have good arguments and answers,

and I would be glad to read you all,

to eventually leave comments,

some likes and some hearts

on your answers

EASTER CAKE on the Alexandria pastry dough - Duration: 7:36.

EASTER CHICKEN at the Alexandria dough

If you get in the way of subtitles - turn them off!

Hello! My name is Dina. Welcome to my "Recipes Collection" channel.

As is known, it is customary to bake cakes for the Easter holiday.

There are a lot of ways to prepare yeast cakes,

and I already have a recipe for cooking classic cakes on the channel, I'll leave the link in the description.

But perhaps the most famous is the recipe for the Easter cake at the Alexandria test,

it was prepared by our great-grandmothers.

Cakes are very porous, soft, and with a sweet rich flavor, characteristic of Easter baking.

So, let's get started. Prepare this dough in 2 stages, so I divided the products into 2 parts.

In the evening we will prepare the spoon, and in the morning we will knead the dough and we will bake the cakes.

It may seem that the preparation of the Alexandrian test takes a very long time, but in fact it is not.

First we will prepare the spit.

In warm, melted milk we will crush fresh pressed yeast,

and mix them well until complete dissolution.

Immediately we take a large capacity, in which today we will start the sponge, and tomorrow in it we will knead the dough.

We beat out 6 eggs in the bowl and 2 yolks in addition, and the proteins can be used for glaze.

Eggs whisk a little whisk until the whites and yolks are mixed.

There also pour out yeast diluted in warm milk,

pour out all the sugar and add soft butter, but not melted.

I note that all products for the preparation of dough should be warm, get them in advance from the refrigerator.

The process of fermentation of the gum lasts 8-12 hours, so it is most convenient to put the spit on the night, which I did.

All the ingredients are well mixed with a whisk and left overnight at room temperature.

You will not take more than 10 minutes to prepare the spoons.

Cover the bowl with a lid or tighten the food film and by morning the yeast will do all the work.

The next day, after 12 hours continue the preparation of the dough.

For a start, we'll fill the raisins with boiling water and leave it for a while, so that it steam out,

although it can be done in the evening.

And now let's look at our gum, it's very good ferment.

We mix it and see that fermentation continues.

Pour into the bowl of salt, orange peel, lemon zest,

pour a strong aromatic alcoholic beverage - it can be cognac, rum or liquor,

add vanillin or vanilla sugar.

All is well mixed and immediately begins an active reaction.

Then pour into the bowl of well-sieved, preferably twice, wheat flour.

Add flour in small portions, each time mixing well.

After pouring about half the flour, add steamed raisins,

from which I drained the water, dried it and sprinkled it with flour,

and candied fruits, instead of candied fruits you can use any dried fruit.

All is well mixed and continue to add small portions of flour, kneading dough.

As the flour is different for everyone, you can get a little more or a little less, it took me 1.2 kg.

When kneading the dough with a spoon becomes hard, continue to knead with your hands for another 10-15 minutes.

The consistency of the dough is soft, even viscous, and strongly clings to the hands.

Cover the bowl with a lid or food film and put it in a warm place until it grows 2-3 times,

as usual, I use an oven with the light turned on.

When the door is closed, an optimum temperature is created there to raise the dough.

In my case, this process took 1.5 hours.

That's how the dough came along, and it's already trying to "run away" from me.

For convenience, we grease the hands with sunflower oil and carefully knead the dough,

releasing a surplus of carbon dioxide from it.

Continuing to lubricate the hands with oil, spread the dough by the forms no more than 1/3 in height.

I put them into paper forms, which I do not lubricate.

This amount of test is enough for 4 large and 4 medium cakes.

Large forms I have a diameter of 12 and a height of 9 cm, and medium and high, and a diameter of 9 cm.

We shift the forms to a grate and send them to a proofing place in a warm place,

for this purpose I will also use the oven with the light bulb turned on.

After an hour the dough came well and, without taking out the cakes from the oven,

set the temperature at 180-190 ° C (356-374 ° F) in the top + bottom mode and bake until cooked.

If you use the convection mode, bake at 170 ° C (338 ° F).

Medium cakes I was ready in 40 minutes, and big after 50.

Readiness of Easter cakes is checked with a wooden skewer.

We take out the ready-made cakes from the oven and let them cool slightly.

In the meantime, prepare the glaze.

To decorate Easter cakes, you can prepare sugar icing on proteins, especially since 2 proteins we have left.

But I'll make glaze on gelatin, the recipe of which you will find on my channel, I'll leave the link in the description,

I will use natural orange juice and a drop of food color instead of water.

We put the finished icing on completely cooled cakes and immediately decorate.

We leave the cakes for a day until the glaze dries completely.

Unfortunately, to upload the video the next day I did not have the opportunity and the cakes stayed in this form for 3 days.

Now let's cut them and see.

Even though the cakes are cooked 3 days ago,

they are perfectly cut, soft, buttery, very porous and fragrant.

Glaze keeps perfectly, when cut, it does not crumble or crumble.

Cakes, cooked in the Alexandrian test, will be obtained from everyone who will follow the recipe.

I hope these sweet, gentle and absolutely amazing cakes will please you.

And do not forget that good mood and good thoughts are half the success!

Sunbury Local Businesses - We will be at Sunbury Square! - Duration: 1:00.

We like many businesses understand that owners

tend to work in their business

rather than on their business.

Hi I'm Tanya from Sunbury Local Businesses

and our project that we launched at the start of March

has been hugely successful.

So far we've introduced over 20 businesses

to what we do and how we do it.

We've created video content for restaurants,

personal trainers, home wares,

fashion, medical and business to business services.

What we've realised is that small businesses really

struggle with creating content for social media.

As the saying goes,

if a picture is worth a thousand words,

then video is worth a million!

We're here to help Sunbury Locals encourage

more people to shop local.

If you think this project is right for you

then come and have a chat with us.

We will be at Sunbury square on the 18th and 19th of

April to talk to you about how we can help your business

Sunbury businesses

it's time to stop talking and be proactive.

It's time for action!
