BUT I am going to both upcoming diamond events in Innsbruck and les gets and going to focus on my riding!

i also have quite some cool ideas but please let me know when you have a good one aswell

i was in Dresden at the Riesel Design HQ to get my new frame

Rose send those guys the all new The bruce frame in raw

he's a bit different geometry wise

and they sent it raw so Riesel was able to do there magic on it (custom painting it)

i sat down with them and gave them my ideas

and they did there job, picked the frame up and was so pumped on how it came out

in the middle he had a red outline, but we thought we will just take some of the camo parts and link them to the other site

i have always loved the camo look. I am a camo fan thats why I am so stoked on the outcome

I can definitely feel that. for sure its also this new bike feeling

almost like we're reading the news I wonder who could help us read the news

today we are headed where are we headed honey because I never remember. So we are at the

bottom of the Buckby flight of locks and we are heading to the top of the

Buckby flight of locks we need to kind of get around the Norton Junction area of

the Grand Union Canal and head towards Braunston it's the next steps of our

journey go through the tunnel do the Bronston locks and then we'll

more up for a couple of days I did the tunnel today maybe probably not so we

are just kind of hanging out and we thought we would say good morning

because we are waiting for our courier to deliver some mugs they're not very

punctual no they've been waiting for days Is... that...

all right so our postman has gone to go get some more boxes yep

and we are about to start cruising down the Buckby locks

with cruising the cut yeah which will be novel for him because he's

066 - A beautiful spring cruise on the Grand Union Canal on our Narrowboat. - Duration: 11:16.

So we're in Welford. We're about to leave Welford.

We got the best mooring in Welford. And nobody else.... there's two, and nobody else has come next to us.

They're all squeezed down on the end of the arm.

It's great, I mean, other than the fact that you are literally right beside the elsan and public toilets.

But you've got this lovely little George field behind us. Yeah.

So Michael spent the last 48 hours at the weed hatch. Not the weed hatch... At the urm... d

Which is now know as the dog hatch. The dog hatch.

Basically just throwing the ball over and over and over again. Constantly.

We're a short walk away from a small, reasonably well-stocked, although not so much for vegetarians...

but, you know, decent little grocery store. Our cupboards are bare. And so we didn't starve.

And I'm going to go this morning again just to get some basics.

But we're hoping to get to Crick today... maybe. Where there is a bit of a larger co-op and some actual groceries available.

And the only problem with that is... well we're actually a bit behind with uploading the vlog,

so it's actually a week before the Crick boat show right now.

So it's, I can't remember, something like the 17th May or something,

So, Jono, who is already down that way had messaged us and told us how.

full the moorings are, but that was like a week ago. So the could be even fuller by now.

So we're a bit concerned that we wont be able to moor there anyway.

We might end up going past there to Watford, or above the junction, which is through a tunnel and, you know,

along the ways a bit, and probably into an area where they're wont be any problem finding moorings.

But the trouble is, we need to find food, so even if we cant moor at Crick,

we somehow have to get me off the boat, or, yeah, one of us off the boat.

Yeah, and I just have to hover back and forth or something. But we'll figure it out.

So we had a bit of a work day yesterday. And I went down one side of the gunnel and treated all the rust spots,

sanded them down and put on furtan, and that pretty much took me all day.

And Michael had a computer day so, we didn't do as much exploring as we would have perhaps liked.

but... You know what's hilarious about the computer day?

What? You know I spent the whole day doing? No. Learning Rust.

The computer language called Rust. That is quite funny. Yeah.

So she's working on rust while I'm working on Rust. But it's a different kind of rust. Anyway.

Anything else to say about the history of the Welford Arm or anything?

Well not too much, I mean....

basically this was part of the original Old Grand Junction. Sorry, the Old Grand Union Canal.

the 'Old' got added because it was originally called The Grand Union Canal,

and then the Grand Junction Canal Company, bought it and incorporated the two channels together,

which is what shut down the job of the guys who did the toll officers at Foxton.

So was this always a dead end or did this go anywhere else?

No this was a dead end. This was the wharf here. There was a um,

there was the lime kilns, and the coal was coming in, they'd make the lime here for building and construction and stuff.

So there was a tavern here, that was owned by a woman named, I believe,

Alice or Anne, who's famous for appearing in a book by Dickens. so you know, it's got some history.

So we're gonna just turn around in the winding hole, which is right there,

go onto the water point, fill up with water get rid of our rubbish. And cruise down till we find a mooring and some food.

So I've been to the shop and we now have bread and eggs and milk

And I'm heading back to the boat, and hopefully Michael will have spun the boat around and will be filling up with water at the water point.

Okay, not quite. He's mid spin over there.

This boat came up and took our mooring, and i've never seen such a patriot ic boat.

Im assuming it's for the Royal Wedding.

Michael's made us get on the boat, me and George are not happy we want to be walking.

But the towpath is on this side, we're going that way through the junction, there's no bridge over the junction,

so you'd have back up that way to get to the bridge, that takes you over to go down that way,

It's not a problem. It's not a problem,

It's just I'd be in Yelvatoft by the time you got back to the Junction.

There's only a bridge that we could have used. You and me could be on that bridge George.

I forgot about the bridge.

Apparently Downton Hills are behind you, I'm still looking for Downton Abbey

I don't think it's real, I think it might be fiction.

George and I are back off the boat, and George is pulling me which is why I can't stand still.

I think we are aiming for bridge 23 and we have just gone past bridge 27.

So there's been a slight change of plan, so just as we were leaving Welford this morning,

We messaged Jono as we knew he was in this area,

and told him that we had to push past to go to Crick, so we could go to the Co-op

And he came to the rescue and said that he'd take us to the supermarket.

So... so there he is right there. Thanks. Kind of above my head.

So now we know why he's called Journey with Jono, because it's his taxi service.

So Michael made me and George get back on the boat. We walked the Welford Arm, it was really nice.

and we were enjoying our walk and then Michael made us get back on the boat,

because he thought the tow path was on the wrong side for us to turn,

and to be fair it was on the wrong side, and my memory of just where the

next bridge was was a little... Completely off. A little off.

So we got back on, and, oh look, there was a bridge that would have taken us across.

Yeah, Okay, but they would have had to have back tracked at least... three or four meters.

I saved everybody three or four meters, and I got us off fairly quickly. You're the best. It was worth while.

So yeah, its just been incredibly rural. And green. And less manure. Which is nice

And also some baby coots. I couldn't see them. Oh they were so cute. They were like this big. Little balls of black fluff.

Yeah, with like little red noses. They looked like a full sized... it's not a nose. Well beak thing...

Nose position. The looked like the adult ones except they were very small,

black, little red beaks, and totally fluffy.

Also it was really cool, we came up around, passed the bridge, pulled over, we knew that Jono was here,

he told us what bridge to go past and everything. And we pulled over.

And Molly came out of the boat and just barrelled down here, high speed, very cute. Oh Yeah, it was a lovely greeting.

Right, so that's about it. That's probably the end of today's video.

Yeah so, we're not sure how long we're going to stay here, because I think I'm a bit behind.

Well I know I'm a bit behind in uploading videos. So it's actually the

middle of May, and Crick is a week tomorrow. Yeah. So we're possibly gonna

stay here for a week which is unheard of for us. I can't remember the last time we

stayed somewhere more than two nights. So by the time you see this video,

Crick will be done. So anyway, that's pretty much it.

But I know, you know, all the bands that I listened to have been influenced by Black Sabbath

So, in somewhat way, yes, I probably am some sort of influenced by Black Sabbath, okay?

"Ola, how do you go about writing lyrics for Feared songs?

"How often do you write and how often does Mario write them?"

So, when I write lyrics, it's basically mostly me making all the lyrics for Feared songs for instance

And the way that I go about them, it's not necessarily that romantic

But ... you know, when I have a song, I always have a song before I write the lyrics by the way

But what I do is that I take that song and I basically record whispers, you know?

of like whatever things, you know, like ...

I'm basically making sounds, you know?

That means that I have some kind of rhythm going for vocals

And then after that I write lyrics out of those rhythms

So, that's the way I write the lyrics

It's a curse.

It's very common that wives have a liking for me. You know, my own wife, she likes me

I had really high hopes, you know, when they announced New Found Power and all that, but it's ...

I was offered to do a riffwars together with Fluff and Jared Dines like two years ago

And I ended up not doing it, because I pulled out basically. I was just really busy with a lot of stuff-

You know, I was busy with a new The Haunted album, a new Feared album ...

and I came back to the project that he sent me over and over and I just couldn't get a good feel

You know, the ... he sent me drums and their riffs and I mean, the drums didn't really do anything for me

And I guess I was kind of like riffed out at the moment

because I'd been writing a lot of songs for Feared and The Haunted

So I didn't really get a good feel

and then I was just like 'yeah if it's not gonna be good, I might just pull the f*** out of this'

If they ask me again, I would probably do it, so ask me again, even though I'm very busy

They're probably also busy, they don't give a shit

I do not have any Dime related stories, but I have one Rex and one Phil Anselmo one

I've already told you about the Rex one. It was when I was at Namm

I was standing and, you know, playing my Randall Satan through my guitar on low volume

and I was like playing 'da na na na na' and then and like really riffing out

and then someone told me like 'crank it up' from the back

and like, okay, I'll crank it up a little bit more

and I was ... yeah, I was playing and it was awesome

My buddy Paul, he filmed all of this and I didn't recognize this until later

but the guy that was asking me to crank it up was Rex

and I just thought it was some bum

and even funnier was that when I wrote about this on Facebook

I wrote it, 'I just thought it was some bum'. Rex answered, answered like 'hey, man!'

That was funny, I called him a bum and he reacted, that's funny.

Yeah, and then Phil Anselmo, when Phil and The Illegals went through Stockholm and Marzi was in the band

I got to hang backstage, I met Phil, I had a lot of expectations, you know?

and I met him, he was super drunk and we had a deep conversation and it was awesome, you know?

And I was happy, but he was just very drunk, it kind of bummed me out that he was so drunk at the time

You know, I don't really drink that much anymore. It doesn't happen.

I get drunk, but you know, not to that state that you barely can walk, but it was cool

He played some old demos that he had on cassettes. That was pretty cool.

So yeah, those are my stories there

"I don't know if you already offer lessons, but f*** you make a fortune doing one-on-one Skype lessons"

Well, you know, I really do not have that much to offer, to be honest.

Burping lessons, maybe. Yeah, that could be a thing. But now I wouldn't feel comfortable giving lessons

I mean, there's already so many other more appropriate guitarists

making one-on-one videos on skype and lessons, you know? Just go to one of those guys

It just makes a lot of sense. You know, I'm not doing shit, I'm just sitting here talking, you know?

it was a breath of fresh air when they came up with their albums

because everyone was basically trying, you know, to do the Nu Metal thing and ...

And they came out and they just like ...

It also was cool with all the mystery and all the costumes and, you know, pulling that 'Ghost thing'

I went to their first show in Stockholm, maybe in front of like 300 people

and it was one of the most intense shows I've ever been to

It was really really good.

I went there with my brother and we just left with a, you know, the biggest smiles on our faces

"Not in a tour, when you're walking in the street or your vacations and they want to take a picture or high-five?"

It's very weird to be that guy that someone really wishes to meet

and you know, they treat you like a celebrity. Wow, you know, I'm not a celebrity.

and ... but it's also of course kind of fun to meet people like that and you know ...

They show their appreciation and love for what I do and it really makes me proud

my eyes are freaking red and puffy is because

But when i can't squeeze in

at least seven hours of sleep

I get frustrated.

Like, I'm literally the first one in my house to go to bed

And they think that it's okay to

be disrespectful and just make lots of noises

while I'm trynna sleep.

And I'm a really light sleeper like

It's really hard to me to fall asleep in places

that are loud and that are

suppose to be quiet or have

the ability to be quiet.

Like, I can fall asleep in class even though I'd

never tried to. It's comfortable in class cause like

you can't really control everybody's sound.

But like, in the comfort of my own home I expect ya'll

the people that live in my house

called my family

I expect them to respect

me.

my sleeping habits.

I'm not saying like

a tear or two.

I literally was crying like someone

freaking broke my heart

Um, I'm also curling my hair right now

cause I wanna look

really cute

I'm gonna have it in a pony but like

I wanna look cute though out the day.

And so when I get

Less than seven hours of sleep

I feel like I need to

make up for that

with supplements

such as coffee

or Redbull.

and

we all know

that's just not good for you.

That is why

I actually try to get some sleep in

and when i don't

it's frustrating

i get anxiety

i get stressed.

And sometimes that would work.

Like most of the time

I could cry and then like

fall asleep instantly because i did but

conveniently, last night was not the case

didn't end up falling asleep until like twelve i think

and i woke up this morning at 4:30

But, you know, when you cry your face gets all puffy

but, you face also gets like really clear

i don't know why but my face looked

really clear after i cried

and also, part of the reason why i couldn't fall asleep last night was

i was like- i stomach was rumbling but it was

too late for me to eat anyways

and i had nothing to eat.

and also, i'm really hungry right now.

I wish i can grab my phone and show you guys what time it is,

but it's literally the morning of school

This is risky. You know how risky this is?

This could make me late.

I also straightened my hair the day before so that's

convenient because

having any other hair texture than straight hair

means that you have to freakin' straighten your hair

before you can do anything to it, basically.

So, i couldn't just roll out of the shower,

dried my hair and freakin'

use this like, no.

I know they're gonna loosen, that's why i made them like

more tight. Usually they're more loose.

Usually for performances, my makeup

is pretty intense.

Doing something different today, you know.

The "less is more", whatever that means.

But we'll see if my makeup turns out

darker than i expected it to be.

Kay then i would literally take some black eyeshadow like

from my morphe palette cause it's the only black eyeshadow that i have.

JK i have more but this one, it stays better.

I literally put the little-est amount of foundation on the back of my wrist as possible.

And i'm not even gonna put primer on.

Should i?

No.

That was probably enough foundation

to cover one's

nose.

But, I'm doing a really thin layer cause 1, i know i'm going to be sweating a lot and 2,

i know i'm gonna be crying so- oh and 3,

i know today's going to be a fairly warm day so

i don't wanna feel heavy on my face.

If i were to match my foundation to my forehead, i would be lookin' like

an oompa loompa

Um, I also have some

Spanish homework that

I forgot to do yesterday because i was

doing like, other things. So, um,

I'm gonna to do that after i do my eyeshadow.

My eyeshadow's bouta be so natural. Like, you guys are gonna be-

Oh yeah.

That's the stuff.

Imma try to do like a smokey liner cause i don't wanna wear eyeliner today.

And, it also just takes too long.

Imma go ahead and do my Spanish homework that i forgot to do last night.

Do i even have that much left to do?

Okay, yeah.

This is easy.

Finished my homework! I'm also eating a banana.

My stomach started to hurt really badly.

And i also remembered that, i was freaking starving.

Mm, mascara.

I have these individuals. They're unopened.

But i don't know if i wanna wear them today cause like if i wear them,

I'm never gonna be able to

use them again. I'm gonna have to buy another pack.

What money do i have to just be buying another pack whenever i just run out? You know?

And my bangs are ruined again but it's okay i'll just

just curl them again, how convenient.

Time for highlighting.

I'm actually gonna go ahead and change my shirt cause i'm already wearing

the pants.

And I'm back. I'm not actually gonna be wearing this.

That'll be dumb , this is like

girl it's freaking cold in the morning.

I'm still the only one awake but

this is around the time that everyone wakes up.

I was looking at my makeup

in the mirror, up-close,

and it wasn't as cute as i thought it would be but, its there!

You guys, it's finally light outside. It is

officially six. My clock is fast because

i like to scare myself.

They're pizza socks. They have pizza on the freakin side.

They had mud all over them

but they're clean, they're washed

it's just stained.

It's 6:05. Do you guy how crazy that is?

Cause, I'm usually ready by 6:50 and

I have to leave at 6:45 so

But i feel like when i have a performance

Im just like naturally way more excited to get up and get ready.

When its like, a regular school-day,

I stay in bed longer because i care about the amount

sleep i get. My alarm rings

at 6 but i- i would stay in bed for another fifteen minutes.

I'm gonna wear gloss and then when it's

the time to perform

I need something that will stay cause imma be like

making faces.

This is so unlike me cause if you as my girls

they will

tell you that i go all out with makeup for performances.

I'm back over here because

I wanna re-curl some pieces of my hair.

cause like what the heck.

did it on 'em hah

You guys are probably wondering

"why is she so stoked about this" like

"its just another school pep rally" but you guys don't know

oh my God, this is so ugly.

how much this team means to me.

They're truly what made me started growing as a dancer.

If it wasn't for them

I probably wouldn't be able to dance at all

like there are classes that i've taken but

they've really pushed me.

Probably gonna cry today because its our last performance

like literally no one cares but

it's really something special for us.

I am in the car.

Basically gonna go now. I have my breakfast.

It's like a croissant sandwich and then

i got my energy for the day cause last night i couldn't get

any sleep

But, this is basically it.

its the last performance of the year and how do i feel about it?

i feel very

very excited for it.

I'm not necessarily sad because i know there's going to be a next year.

It's always been something that i was always proud of so
