My Wife's Fountain Pen Collection - Duration: 12:19.

Hello my name is Vanessa and I am going to show you my fountain pens today and

this. You're into fountain pens. You see this you know it's a good day.

Yay!

See!

It's always fun!

This is going to be my new daily writer. So fountain pens, I started with this fountain pen.

My husband and I both got fountain pens. We had gotten Retro 51 pens. We liked

them but they were not fine enough. So we did a little research and by we

I mean Stephen did all the research and he said you're gonna love this and I said

I'm not sure will. So that's okay, they're not very expensive. So he got them and I

was doubtful. And then we love them. Anyway, now I've been using this one as

my daily writer and it's been lasting like five days, right? I have to refill

and it's just it's yes alright. So first pen first, Pilot Metropolitan we have

fine nibs on these. This I have black.

And I use this pen all the time and I love it. Very fine nib. Amazing.

Then I soon discovered that I needed a pen in every color.

So I started adding to my collection thanks to Goulet pens. It's really

amazing. So here I have the broad nib, again a Pilot Metropolitan.

I have a lovely Teal turquoise ink in there on a broad nib. I also in that

next batch I decided to experiment with the Noodler's.

This one is a flex nib and it's a little bit, a little bit fiddly and it is just

wonderful! I love it! I love fiddling with the pens.

I love it so that one you can actually press down on, but it you can also write

pretty fine and then, um, the other two I had gotten right at the beginning were

these. This is a Plaisir or something Platinum Plaisir. This one's supposed to

be able to write for like a year.

It's also fine nib and it writes really really smoothly, but I don't think

the nib is very pretty. So I haven't bought anymore because I really

like the ones that, I really like the nibs that, um just have wings. I don't

know what you call it. Like this one. I love this nib it's so pretty.

Also it has a butterfly on it. This is the Nemosine Nemosine. I don't know

how to say it, in the blueberry color. Looks like I need ink in this one. This one

one is definitely out of ink. Yep, that's what happens. So I have a nice dark blue

in that and that's a broad nib it's pretty similar width to that one. I have had

some problems with this one though. Oh yeah, and look it's chipped away. So

around here it's actually broken around the lid and I want to say I'm pretty

nice to my fountain pens, but I do. They do roll off the desk now and again. And

this one is not holding up, which makes me super sad because, seriously, this nib

is beautiful. Also I like writing with it. It's very smooth and beautiful. So then

after those Stephen got me this one for my birthday, I think. This one I have a ...

I have a shimmer ink in here, so it kind of gets a little bit more ... You have to

shake it and use it more often but it's worth it for the shimmer. I also probably

should refill this one. Then our Office Max Office Depot was going out of business

and so Stephen and I both got these little tiny pens. They're like so tiny.

They're pretty solid though cause they're all metal. It's a Cross and I think

it says it's a medium nib, but feels like a pencil in how narrow it is.

Screws on.

But Writes very very nicely. It's lovely and I have graphite in there right now

because it feels like a pencil and that just made me happy.

This one is the Pilot Plumix and it's a broad nib because I wanted to try some

more broad nibs. And no it's a medium, medium, It says M, but it writes like a broad

nib. I think the ink is dry in here. This pen was annoying me because the nib is so

scratchy and even when I put, um ... I was trying different inks and one was one

was working better, but I'm just gonna wash this one out in let it sit for a

while because I was getting annoyed at it. Okay, then got a purple notebook, so we've

gotta go, got to get some purple. What is this one?

A Conklin. This is my broad nib for my notebook because I love to do headings

in a broad nib. So I, pretty, oh look it's made in the USA, that's fun. So ...

It's lovely and the ink comes out in a really really nice, just a gradation, in that

one. Maybe it's just the ink I have in there too.

It's gorgeous. And this one I got for, like to write in the notebook, but it's

way too broad. Like It's, It's like a medium nib even though they say it's

an extra fine. So this is the Faber Castell Faber Castell. Do you

know how to say any of these words? I don't know how to say these words. And it says it's

extra-fine this thing writes like a medium nib. It's beautiful. I love writing

with it. It's like nice and heavy, but it's like tiny for my little tiny hand.

And like, look at that beautiful purple ink. So pretty! I loved it but it was too

big and I was trying to write a whole bunch of things in my notebook. So that

was not working. So now I'm using that for my subheadings and then I pulled out

my husband's old Pilot Metropolitan.

And that's working wonderfully and I do have three different purples in there

because I got a purple sample pack from Goulet pens. And yeah, I'm playing.

When I figure out which ones I really love in each pen, then I will buy the

full sizes. That's worked really well for us.

And then for Valentine's Day my husband decided that I needed a pen that could

hold more ink.

And of course we have red in here because it's so pretty! This is also my

first pen that might actually be a demonstrator because I don't really like

demonstrators, and let me see, I thought this was a medium. No this one is an

extra fine. Okay. Awesome. Typically, I love extra fine and broad

nib. Those are my two favorites. Yeah, I'm not too keen on demonstrators as you can

tell. My entire collection is not demonstrators I guess this one is. Maybe one

more reason I don't like it, but now I do use these, I would say, the three

purple ones. And these I use at least every other day. Minus this one. And then the

purple's I'm using either every day or every other day. The other the other ones

I'm using a little bit less frequently by now I'm gonna use this one every day.

If I can ever open it.

Yay! This is also a TWSBI classic. I guess I've started just not saying the names

of my pens

It is super stuck in the case.

Wow, all right so this is another TWSBI classic. This is the same pen as this

this one here, but in black so that I can use it as my daily writer because I

cannot put black ink in here of course that would be a travesty and the extra fine nib for

daily writing. It's very nice little flair going on and

now we're gonna fill this. Going to fill the TWSBI, TWSBI classic, right? Yeah the other

ones are very demonstrators and then we have the Noodlers black, which is just a

great ink.

Would you grab me me a paper towel dear? Yay! A very serious looking pen. Yay! I will try that out in one minute

because now I'm gonna rinse this one out that is dry. All right friends

and that is how you get into fountain pens. You start with one and then

just gets better from there

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.

I know it's been a while since I last uploaded.

I've been very busy with track and school but school's out for the summer (woohoo) so

now I'm doing a room tour, which has been requested by a certain someone several times.

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to my brothers for helping film this video, thanks

guys.

So let's get started!

SO the first part of my room that we're gonna go over is right when you walk in you have

my dresser and you have Apollo and a couple other things.

So we're gonna start with these shelves.

Up here we have a fake plant and my Canon camera; it's vintage, it's from the 80s.

It's a film camera.

I love it.

I don't use it very often, but it's great.

Over here we have a sculpture that I made out of the end of a spiral notebook- the little

metal part and my Instax Mini 8 camera, which I definitely use a lot.

These shelves, they're just wooden crates painted white.

Over here we have Apollo, he is my best friend; I love him to death.

Oh, he's flaring at me.

I'm sorry.

Um, over here we have this vinyl record bowl that I made in the oven; it's really easy-

you just throw it in the oven and let it melt.

You can redo it a million times.

It's really fun.

I just use it to catch everything.

Just kind of like a catch-all.And then the last thing we have is this candle right here.

It's Midnight Blue Citrus ; it's from Bath and Body Works.

It smells really good and surprisingly I'm almost done with it.

Like, I used the whole thing.

And then, just in my dresser is just clothes and down here we have some more Youtube camera

stuff.

So over here in this corner of my room we have some fake plants and this lucky cat wind

chime.

Over here we have a couple of Polaroid photos They're from all over the country.

"they are all across new jersey, such as delaware, and outside of delaware" Colorado, New Mexico,

Arizona, Wherever- I've probably been there.

Here we have my record player and a couple of records.

I don't have that many but I love all of them to death.

Over here we also have this geode and my diffuser.

Because I like essential oils.

We also have Wallace, one of my good friends.

Don't mess with him.

He'll mess you up.We also have my two ukuleles, because I play Ukulele and I'm a ukulele nerd.

Over here we have my bed, which is a great part of my room.

It's the central part, it's the first thing you see when you walk in, besides the tiny

fan.

We've got my favorite stuffed animals and a couple of throw pillows.

This stuffed animal, I forget the name of.

Sorry.

This is Mr. Lemon, he's great.

And over there is Anthony, he's also great.These are Alpacassos- they're from the company Amuse.

I literally ordered them from Japan because I was an extra sixth grader.

That's all.

I don't have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out?

So over here on the left side of my bed we have my bookshelf.

I've gotten rid of a lot of books, I used to have way more, but...MINIMALISM, YAY.

These books are color coded, I have a lot of books.

My favorite books are up here.

below and maybe I'll do a video on that later on.

Up here I also have some Funko Pops.

There's just two; I used to have more.

There's Loki and Vision, my two faves.

Up here we also have this jellyfish- it's from Gulf Shores, Alabama, and it glows in

the dark at night which is pretty cool.

I don't think there's anything else up here.

There's donald duck.

Down here we've got a ton of sketchbooks, a bunch of binders from school, a couple more

books, down here there's not really a lot.

There's just some art stuff and two blankets, my hammock, and in this picnic basket is more

stuff for apollo.

Here next to the bookshelf we have this big gigantic map.

It's just a world map.

It's kind of interesting because the US is in the middle and there's all these different-

um, I guess they're shipping routes or plane...trails or something like that.

It's from this company that my dad used to work for, so you'd have to ask him if you

wanted to know what these are.

Anyways, over here we have some art that I made.

I made this, I believe in seventh grade?

Maybe 8th grade.

I'm not really sure.

I don't really remember a lot these days.

This is 3D it's really cool.

It's , um, I forget what it's called but it's acrylic paint and basically you just put it

on plastic and let it dry and it's really fun.

Up here we have this fish.

It's a koi fish.

I love koi fish, I love this.

I'm so proud of this.

It's just really pleasing to look at.

Then over here we just have some fellowship church invites.

You'll notice I have them all over my room.

And up here is a ticket from a train trip we went on.

Over here we have my calendar.

I do this every month.

As you can see, I'm goins to kids' camp.

That'll be Allaso Ranch part one for me.

I'm going 3 weeks this year.

Up here we just have a chalkboard, a couple of screencaps from Moana and Thor Ragnarok.

Two very good movies.

And then over here we have a lot of track and field medals.

My voice just cracked.

Up there we have a print of The Rehearsal on Stage by Degas.

Honestly, i don't even know if it's an actual print.

I'm pretty sure I just found it in the frame.

It might be the photo that comes with the frame but hey, that's cool too- I like art.

We've got some screencaps from Thor: Ragnarok.

Over here is a cool print that I made with a CD, there's tickt from when I went and saw

Wicked in Dallas, up there is another photo- there's lots of Polaroids.

Here's a bunch of old photos of me and my mom when I was little.

There's some rhinos.

my wall.

It's pretty cool.

Then finally over here, back where we started- my door's right there, so we're back where

Hello everyone and welcome to this module on the Care of the Patient with Pneumonia.

My name is Stephanie Sprogis and I am a Research Fellow from the Centre for Quality and Patient

Safety Research – Eastern Health Partnership.

I support both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching here at Deakin and I also work in

the clinical area in the Intensive Care Unit at the Austin Hospital.

In this module, we will provide you with a series of learning resources to assist you

to address the ILOs for this topic.

Specifically, we will explore the pathogenesis and aetiology of pneumonia and how this can

vary between the different types of pneumonia, the ways in which we can classify pneumonia,

the investigations that are required in order to make a diagnosis of pneumonia and the expected

clinical and radiological manifestations.

We will also explore the nursing and collaborative management of pneumonia with a strong focus

on nursing preventative strategies and supportive care.

Put simply, pneumonia is an acute infection of the lung at the alveolar level.

It is an infectious disease that affects around 78,000 Australians every year.

I have no doubt that many of you will have already cared for several patients with pneumonia

of variable severity throughout your career.

You may have encountered patients who present to hospital with community-acquired pneumonia;

you may have also encountered patients who develop pneumonia during their hospital stay.

Hospital acquired pneumonia is pneumonia that develops more than 48 hours after hospital

admission; it is the second most common nosocomial infection.

In the critical care setting, you will also encounter patients with ventilator-associated

pneumonia (VAP), a subtype of hospital-acquired pneumonia.

You will be aware from your learning around the care of the intubated ventilated patient

that VAP prevention is a major nursing priority in the context of caring for a mechanically

ventilated patient.

Despite advancements in the available antibiotics and marked improvements in the standard of

healthcare overall, pneumonia is still associated with appreciable morbidity and mortality.

It is associated with many possible complications.

As you read more about the pathophysiology of pneumonia it will be clearer to you how

pneumonia can progress to acute respiratory failure.

A significant proportion of patients with pneumonia will require advanced invasive therapies;

we know that around 11% can be expected to require vasopressors and/or mechanical ventilation.

For those hospitalised with pneumonia, we also know that the expected length of stay

rises with age.

The elderly population is at a much higher risk of pneumonia.

Those under 65 years have an average length of stay of 6 days compared to those over 65

years who require hospitalisation for an average of 13 days.

Importantly, for many patients, especially the elderly, recovery from pneumonia can be

prolonged with some never returning to their baseline health status or level of functioning.

In low income countries, pneumonia is a leading cause of death.

In Australia, considered a high income country, pneumonia and influenza are currently ranked

together as the 11th leading cause of death which is up from the 13th leading cause of

death a decade ago.

Pneumonia is the leading cause of death from infectious diseases in the Australasian region.

Mortality rates may range from 8-12%.

When compared to other community-acquired infectious diseases such as skin and soft

tissue infection, pyelonephritis or meningitis, community-acquired pneumonia is associated

with the highest mortality rate and rate of ICU admissions.

The mortality risk also extends beyond the period of hospitalisation; mortality risk

may remain elevated for 1 year and where Streptococcal pneumoniae is the causative microorganism,

this heightened risk may persist for up to 5 years.

Hospital-acquired pneumonia is currently the leading cause of death of all hospital-acquired

infections.

As you can see from these statistics, a diagnosis of pneumonia is associated with significant

ramifications and costs.

There is clear incentive to prioritise prevention and commence timely evidence-based management.

If we can prevent pneumonia, obviously that is always preferable – as nurses we need

to practice preventative strategies for every hospitalised patient.

All patients in hospital are at a high risk of developing pneumonia for plethora of reasons.

Meticulous infection control practices and patient education are essential.

For ventilator-associated pneumonia, preventative nursing practices are quite specific and you

will need to draw on your knowledge of ventilator care bundles.

For those who have developed pneumonia, our responsibility lies in conducting scrupulous

patient assessments to enable prompt recognition of pneumonia, providing supportive care and

timely administration of antimicrobial treatments.

It is essential to be aware that the time from diagnosis to administration of appropriate

antimicrobials matters; delayed administration is associated with a higher mortality.

Why I Left YouTube (I had no choice) - Duration: 5:40.

this is something that I really do not want to this year. in fact, I put in my

New Year's resolutions, to not take a break this year from YouTube. but this

time, I really had no choice .a lot has happened since the last video I posted.

mostly noting that I've been insanely sad, uninspired, not energetic, and very slowly

losing interest in things that I once loved. even though I now live in the

apartment on my dreams, practically, and I do not have a roommate that isn't a complete

dirtbag, and I have a job that I don't completely loathe.. I still feel like my

life has been spiraling out of control. I don't know what to do about it.

I don't even know where to begin. it all started with me moving out that last

apartment I lived in. if you would like to see a tour of that empty studio, I

will leave a link to that in the description box. I ended up just bailing

out of that apartment, at last moment, and bumming off a friend's couch. which was

all fine and dandy, except for the fact that I had to put my stuff into storage,

and that storage unit ended up starting on fire. yeah. a fire. one of my biggest

fears was in my face, once again. there was an explosion! probably a meth lab

because, god bless Iowa! this happened less than a week after me putting my

stuff into storage! almost none of my stuff was actually heat damaged, but

unfortunately, it was all either water damaged or severely smoked damaged. I had

to get rid of most of my clothes. I did have to get rid of my mattress, my desk,

my desk chair, my dresser, all my lights for video making were destroyed.

basically everything I owned was either covered in black soot, smelled like

burning plastic, or was waterlogged beyond repair. thankfully, I did have some

stuff at my friend's house and I was able to salvage my white shelves and my

bed frame. which I'm still waiting for my sister need to get finished painting.

please hurry up because I'm kind of going crazy with how disorganized every is.

even though now I'm basically "over the fact" that the fire happened, I'm still

really freaking stressed out! because none of my stuff is in order. I don't

know about you, but I'm one of those people that if my environment is chaotic,

I feel chaotic on the inside. I just feel like I've lost total control. I can't

focus on school, sleep, eating ,my hobbies. I feel like I have become a whole new

person, but not in a good way. I really cannot be the only person like

this. so please tell me down below, do you or somebody close to you relate to

that fact? I've also just been really cracking down on my own life and

thinking about my own self. like should I get a job that I absolutely hate just to

bring in more income? which does stress me out because a lot of high paying jobs

my area are male-dominated, and I always had the issue of being very badly

sexually harassed at every single job I've had, except for my current one. or

should I put all my love time and energy into my current plan and passions, so I

can try to make a difference in the world??

I never really thought to myself of the kind of person to settle in life, and

have a normal job. growing up I really want to be a musician, but I could

never really find people to make music with because everyone I'm surrounded by

is not into the same kind of music I like, or let me be the leader. after going

through that rut, I decided yeah, I just want to make a positive change in the

world. I've just really been evaluating myself completely. you know it sucks I

know that everything that has. happened has happened for a reason

it has really helped me realize what I want in life even though I love Iowa, I

love being around my friends and family, I honestly don't feel like I belong here,

at least not at the moment. if I want to live the life I imagined, I can't stay

here forever. if I want to live the life I imagined, I can't be here now. I've been

thinking about moving back to California after my lease is up here. maybe I can

start a new chapter in my life there again.

I'm just worried about setting myself back or setting myself up for failure,

because I won't have an "in" when I move back to California, most likely. just a

lot that I could go into the equation of me having an "in". this puts me back at

the spot of how I do love my current job and everything, but I really want a job

where I can get paid more, so I can travel, maybe have a family, I don't know.

all I know is that I have a purpose in my life. I am a wonderful loving person,

and I feel like I have the power to change the world. so with this new my

channel dying because I took a really long break, and me coming back... I have

decided that I'm going to be focusing on confidence, health, boob job things. that's a

big thing for me!!! my boob job changed my life. I want the world to know!!! but my

camera is about to die, so I got to wrap up this video. I just wanted to let you

know that yeah, I'm alive. I lost a bunch of myself in a storage unit fire, and

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.

I know it's been a while since I last uploaded.

I've been very busy with track and school but school's out for the summer (woohoo) so

now I'm doing a room tour, which has been requested by a certain someone several times.

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to my brothers for helping film this video, thanks

guys.

So let's get started!

SO the first part of my room that we're gonna go over is right when you walk in you have

my dresser and you have Apollo and a couple other things.

So we're gonna start with these shelves.

Up here we have a fake plant and my Canon camera; it's vintage, it's from the 80s.

It's a film camera.

I love it.

I don't use it very often, but it's great.

Over here we have a sculpture that I made out of the end of a spiral notebook- the little

metal part and my Instax Mini 8 camera, which I definitely use a lot.

These shelves, they're just wooden crates painted white.

Over here we have Apollo, he is my best friend; I love him to death.

Oh, he's flaring at me.

I'm sorry.

Um, over here we have this vinyl record bowl that I made in the oven; it's really easy-

you just throw it in the oven and let it melt.

You can redo it a million times.

It's really fun.

I just use it to catch everything.

Just kind of like a catch-all.And then the last thing we have is this candle right here.

It's Midnight Blue Citrus ; it's from Bath and Body Works.

It smells really good and surprisingly I'm almost done with it.

Like, I used the whole thing.

And then, just in my dresser is just clothes and down here we have some more Youtube camera

stuff.

So over here in this corner of my room we have some fake plants and this lucky cat wind

chime.

Over here we have a couple of Polaroid photos They're from all over the country.

"they are all across new jersey, such as delaware, and outside of delaware" Colorado, New Mexico,

Arizona, Wherever- I've probably been there.

Here we have my record player and a couple of records.

I don't have that many but I love all of them to death.

Over here we also have this geode and my diffuser.

Because I like essential oils.

We also have Wallace, one of my good friends.

Don't mess with him.

He'll mess you up.We also have my two ukuleles, because I play Ukulele and I'm a ukulele nerd.

Over here we have my bed, which is a great part of my room.

It's the central part, it's the first thing you see when you walk in, besides the tiny

fan.

We've got my favorite stuffed animals and a couple of throw pillows.

This stuffed animal, I forget the name of.

Sorry.

This is Mr. Lemon, he's great.

And over there is Anthony, he's also great.These are Alpacassos- they're from the company Amuse.

I literally ordered them from Japan because I was an extra sixth grader.

That's all.

I don't have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out?

So over here on the left side of my bed we have my bookshelf.

I've gotten rid of a lot of books, I used to have way more, but...MINIMALISM, YAY.

These books are color coded, I have a lot of books.

My favorite books are up here.

Up here I also have some Funko Pops.

There's just two; I used to have more.

There's Loki and Vision, my two faves.

Up here we also have this jellyfish- it's from Gulf Shores, Alabama, and it glows in

the dark at night which is pretty cool.

I don't think there's anything else up here.

There's donald duck.

Down here we've got a ton of sketchbooks, a bunch of binders from school, a couple more

books, down here there's not really a lot.

There's just some art stuff and two blankets, my hammock, and in this picnic basket is more

stuff for apollo.

Here next to the bookshelf we have this big gigantic map.

It's just a world map.

It's kind of interesting because the US is in the middle and there's all these different-

um, I guess they're shipping routes or plane...trails or something like that.

It's from this company that my dad used to work for, so you'd have to ask him if you

wanted to know what these are.

Anyways, over here we have some art that I made.

I made this, I believe in seventh grade?

Maybe 8th grade.

I'm not really sure.

I don't really remember a lot these days.

This is 3D it's really cool.

It's , um, I forget what it's called but it's acrylic paint and basically you just put it

on plastic and let it dry and it's really fun.

Up here we have this fish.

It's a koi fish.

I love koi fish, I love this.

I'm so proud of this.

It's just really pleasing to look at.

Then over here we just have some fellowship church invites.

You'll notice I have them all over my room.

And up here is a ticket from a train trip we went on.

Over here we have my calendar.

I do this every month.

As you can see, I'm goins to kids' camp.

That'll be Allaso Ranch part one for me.

I'm going 3 weeks this year.

Up here we just have a chalkboard, a couple of screencaps from Moana and Thor Ragnarok.

Two very good movies.

If you haven't seen them, don't talk to me.

And then over here we have a lot of track and field medals.

My voice just cracked.

I run hurdles and I do pole vault, so that's what these are from.

In this corner of my room we have my window and my desk, and Tycen sticking his had in

through the door.Behind my desk we have a lot of photos, a big map, some ticket stubs,

just kind of nostalgic items that I like to keep that look cool.

Up there we have a print of The Rehearsal on Stage by Degas.

Honestly, i don't even know if it's an actual print.

I'm pretty sure I just found it in the frame.

It might be the photo that comes with the frame but hey, that's cool too- I like art.

We've got some screencaps from Thor: Ragnarok.

Over here is a cool print that I made with a CD, there's tickt from when I went and saw

Wicked in Dallas, up there is another photo- there's lots of Polaroids.

Here's a bunch of old photos of me and my mom when I was little.

There's some rhinos.

#save the rhinos This is a picture that my brother drew for me that I like to have on

my wall.

It's pretty cool.

It's a volcano if you can't tell.

Then finally over here, back where we started- my door's right there, so we're back where

we started- right here we have my Twenty One Pilots flag.
