Grappling Hook Gun ► FINAL TEST - Duration: 4:19.

Hey guys, I'm the Hacksmith, and our most anticipated project is our Batman Grappling

hook gun with ascension winch.

Unfortunately I dislocated my shoulder during the last project, so I'm passing the Bat-Mantel

to Ian.

I'M BATMAN!

I'm glad we're on the same side.

I'M BATMAN!

Where'd Ian go with the grappling hook gun?

Alright, that worked great!

But there is some room for improvements.

In fact, our steel shaft actually... snapped!

A hardened steel shaft.

And the other part is actually 3D printed on our Markforged 3D printer using the Onyx

material which has carbon fiber in it, so it's pretty awesome that this part survived,

but a steel shaft, did not.

So we're going to have to revisit this design a little bit before we can fix this, and get

ready for the next test.

Luckily, the team's already hard at work, and we've got a design made, we'll just have

to get it manufactured.

Alright so once that's fixed, we plan on revisiting some of the original test locations from our

first video, including that grain silo, and probably the bridge!

This has actually been our most complex engineering project to date, we've spent hundreds and

hundreds of hours designing this thing -- and thousands of dollars.

And unfortunately we really don't make that much from YouTube ad revenue, so if you guys

Hey Joe! BYU students' secret life as Filipino video stars - Duration: 6:17.

I'd go and travel halfway round the world for my Morena girl.

The Hey Joe Show is a group of BYU students that celebrates Filipino culture

primarily in the Cebuano language.

Ok, Ok, ONWARD!

Cause I have someone just like her--my Morena girl.

My Morena... My Morena..

(Speaking in Cebuano) We are the Hey Joe Show!

We all served in the Philippines together,

we met each other on our mission.

Any time we'd say, "Hey, Good morning! How are you?"

in Cebuano, people would freak out-

and they'd be shocked that we were speaking their language.

It's pretty unusual for Americans to know Cebuano.

Since it's not the national language-the media was in Tagalog or English-

we thought, you know, it would be awesome if we made videos

in the language for the people there.

(Speaking in Cebuano)

When we came home from our missions,

the first video we made was really silly and simple

and we just introduced ourselves in Cebuano.

And within the first week we had like a million views.

All these different news stations reporting on five Americans speaking Cebuano.

When that happened, we realized like, wow, people really love this.

So we started making more and more videos.

Filipinos are really enthusiastic about social media.

Whenever we filmed a video, it reached the mountains of Cebu.

Hey Joe is what the little kids in the Philippines yell when there's a foreigner that walks by.

The Hey Joe show is a comedy group.

(Speaking in Cebuano)

It's all family-friendly, clean, positive, pro-Philippines, comedy.

Filipino!

Our main objective is to inspire pride in the Filipino people.

(Speaking in Cebuano)

We're obsessed with the Philippines and the culture there.

The first tour was in 2015.

We scheduled five malls.

Hopefully like 20 or 50 people show up.

We get picked up in a van by some people from the mall.

They told us that they were going to drive us into the venue.

Why would they need a van to go into the mall?

Couldn't we just walk in?

And they're like, "Yeah, there's no way that you guys can walk in there-

-there's too many people."

And as soon as the van enters the mall,

people started running up and pounding on the van.

We just hear screams.

(people screaming)

Thousands of people screaming, and they had signs with our names on them.

A mob of people surrounding the stage.

It was deafening, the screams.

And that's when it all kind of hit us, like, oh my goodness-

We're actually famous in the Philippines.

There were times when we had a police barricade,

and there were people just attacking, grabbing on our shirts.

Holy cow! What just happened?

(Speaking in Cebuano)

When we walk down the street with the five of us in the Philippines,

immediately people recognize us.

We'd have just this huge crowd of people asking to take pictures.

I guess we're a big deal-

-I feel so uncomfortable saying that!

We met the president of the Philippines.

We have a couple videos dancing with the President of the Philippines,

which is crazy and kind of surreal.

Our most fun videos to film were where we took over

public transportation in the Philippines.

Ok, Ok! Aloguinsan!

We were conductors for jeepneys.

The conductor hangs on to the back of the jeepney.

We drove through the city and we were saying our destination,

and people were laughing so hard.

We were street vendors.

(Speaking in Cebuano) Ten pesos, only ten pesos, water, water, water!

When there's a lot of traffic, all these street vendors go through the cars,

and they sell water and chips.

So we would walk up and ask, who wants to buy water? Water! Water! Water!

It was just so much fun to be able to do that and highlight that little part of the culture.

One of my absolute favorite parts of the Hey Joe Show

was recording "My Morena Girl."

We were in Cebu until 3am recording,

and the next day we filmed the music video

and we got to go to all these different places in Cebu that are famous.

Crowds of people were crowding around the crew.

At one point there was this police car that stopped traffic, and they all ran out and said,

"Can we get a picture with you guys?"

I think the whole thing's so crazy just because we're normal college students.

We come back and we sit in a class where no one knows us.

People in the Philippines don't always recognize that

we're not famous when we come back to America.

We kind of live a double life in the Philippines.

It's always a weird transition.

You know, no one is asking to take pictures with you.

The only reason that we were able to start the Hey Joe Show

was because we were all students at BYU.

So BYU is kind of the common denominator through the whole thing.

We're in a transitioning phase of the Hey Joe Show,

where we'll no longer be together here at BYU.

Hey Joe Show as it exists now probably won't continue for very long.

We are moving to different places.

I'm going to medical school,

Jake is starting work at Google,

Davis is looking to go to law school.

But that doesn't mean that we don't want to keep up

our connection with the Philippines.

(Singing in Cebuano)

I think the best thing about the Filipinos is that they're kind.

They're the kindest people in the world.

I feel really blessed that I was able to live there and serve there

and now have this connection for the rest of my life to the Philippines.

We've kind of tried to create this Filipino family across the world

and we've tried to create like a bridge between cultures.

Years down the road I'll be able to look back and tell my kids,

"You don't want to listen to me now, but I was once famous in the Philippines."

Top 10 DEADLIEST Baseball Drills You Can Do With This ONE SECRET WEAPON! [Mini Wiffle Ball Drills] - Duration: 8:23.

Today I've got the top 10 drills you can do with mini wiffle balls to become a better

baseball player.

My name is Coach Madden, I'm the official trainer at YouGoProBaseball.com and you'll

hear me in my videos talk a lot about training small and this is what I'm talking about when

I talk about training small.

These mini wiffle balls are a great way to work on catching, hitting.

Imagine if you can catch and hit these things, hitter the bigger ball, the baseball, is going

to be a lot easier.

This really works on your hand-eye coordination.

So let's get into it, Top 10 Drills you can do with these mini wiffle balls.

The first drill is going to be bare handed, one handed, catches.

So all we're going to do in this drill is get a partner to throw the balls, we're going

to get into a good athletic position, see this ball all the way in.

You really want to have soft hands.

We're only working on one hand right here.

You can switch hands if you want because we're really working on hand-eye coordination more

than anything here and just beings soft and trying to catch all these balls as they're

thrown to you.

Obviously you want to try to do more with your glove side hand because that's where

you're going to be catching these balls but again you can switch hands, really just working

on the hand-eye coordination, trying to do one hand at a time.

That last one I did two hands but try to do one hand at a time when you're catching these

balls.

Drill number 2 we're going to do the same thing except we're going to put on the Web

Glove.

I sell these on my website.

I'll leave a link below where you can get them and at the end of this video I'm going

to offer you guys a coupon code to get this and some of the other things I talk about

in this video.

But we're going to do the same exact thing except we're using this Web Glove.

It's a great tool and drill to do the same thing and work on that hand-eye coordination

and catching the mini balls.

It's very hard, this is a lot harder than the bare handed version because you've really

got to be super focused.

If you thought catching it with the bare hand was hard, this is even harder and you've got

to really see these mini balls in all the way.

For drill number 3 with the mini balls all we're going to do is the same thing.

We're going to use the Web Glove but we're going to progress it more and make it a little

more difficult and we're going to close one eye and try to catch these balls.

This is super hard if you've never done it before it's very, very hard and I'm impressing

myself already on how many, well I was, one more.

It's very very hard.

I was impressed that I caught those 3 in the beginning.

This is a great great drill.

Here's an old clip of me and Dee Gordon doing the same drill to get him ready before a season

one year.

Obviously you'll switch and do the other side.

You can also get a little eye patch if you don't want to hold your hands over.

Obviously you don't want to share your eye patch with your team.

You can get them for like a dollar at CVS or Wallgreens.

For drill number 4 we're going to be hitting with a regular bat off of the Personal Pitcher

Mini Wiffle Ball Pitching Machine.

WHOA!

This thing is great.

Obviously it mixes the location up but it's great to work on training small.

Hitting these mini balls.

Obviously if you can hit these mini balls with a big bat, you're going to be a lot better

at hitting with the regular baseball.

This is a very, very tough drill and when you work on training small like that, you're

really going to get a lot better with your hand eye coordination.

For drill number 5 we're going to hit these mini wiffle balls with the skinny barrel bat

to make it even harder, progress this drill even more, make it more difficult.

Obviously you see I missed those last two but if you can hit that mini ball with this

skinny barrel bat, you've got to be pretty accurate with your swing and have good bat

control to do so.

So this is another great way to progress this drill and work with the mini wiffle balls.

HEADS UP!

For drill number 6 we're going to use the Personal Pitcher again and we're going to

need a partner for this one as well.

We're going to turn on the Personal Pitcher and our partner is going to be just off to

the side.

The partner is going to be tossing a mini wiffle ball, as well as the Personal Pitcher

shooting in.

Right now I have it on 55 mph.

You can have it on 55, 45, 35 whatever you set your Personal Pitcher to but we're going

to have it on 55 and a partner also tossing and then my partner is going to yell out "toss"

if he wants me to hit the tossed ball and not say anything if he wants me to hit the

machine pitched ball.

So I have to differentiate as the balls are coming in very quickly decide, take my hands

to the ball and hit the proper ball that's called out.

Drill number 6, we're doing pop flies with the Personal Pitcher using the mini wiffle

balls.

We're just going to get set up, let the pitching machine shoot you a pop fly.

We're going to get underneath it, make a good catch using the Web Glov.

For drill number 8 we're going to do infielding with the Personal Pitcher.

We can use our bare hands or you can try it with the Web Glov, but you're staying low,

having soft hands fielding that ball.

You can work on short hops like I'm kind of doing now or regular ground balls.

Just being soft, funneling that ball up to the middle of your body.

Trying to have good fielding technique, keep your feet moving as you're doing it.

WHOA!

Drill number 9 we're going to do catching drills.

We can work on our framing, our receiving, using the Personal Pitcher and the Web Glove.

You've really got to be perfect and have good hand-eye coordination and really work on your

rocking and your swaying and framing these balls when you catch them.

Feel that ball out in front, try to work on that low strike, and have good soft hands

when you're catching this ball.

For drill number 10 we're going to work on bunting with the skinny barrel bat.

You saw me bunting earlier with the regular bat, but this drill becomes extremely more

hard when you use the skinny barrel bat.

You really have to focus in and see this ball hit the barrel.

Very, very challenging drill.

Great for hand-eye coordination, working on bunts.

Obviously I want to make sure I'm in front of this plate so that when I hit the ball

down it's in fair territory.

But a great, great drill to do with the mini wiffle balls.

So those are the top 10 drills that you can do with the mini wiffle balls.

How To Make The Most From Video Titles - Get The Video Seen! - Duration: 7:07.

Hi, it's Jeff from Video Cashflow with a neat and powerful

tactic for you to implement when you

upload your videos to YouTube. Now we're all

told how important it is to ensure that

the video title matches your main

keyword. But there's more to it than that.

So stay tuned to find out more plus you

Before I explain, to get access to more video

marketing and business tips, tactics,

techniques, and strategies please click

the subscribe button in the bottom right

hand corner of the screen where you will see

the Video Cashflow logo. Now, back to "How

To Make The Most From Your Video Titles".

Okay, so we're restricted to a hundred

characters when we enter the title into

the title bar. However, to get the biggest

impact from your title you want to

restrict that to 60 characters. Why 60

characters? Well, apart from your video

being listed on YouTube and ideally on

page one for your main keywords, you also

want your video to show up on the Google

search listings as one of those

thumbnail images. The thing with Google though

is that your title is truncated

after 60 characters, so if you can get

your title within that 60 character

limit that will have a biggest impact

because when viewers are scrolling

through the search listings on Google

you've got a better chance of your title

jumping out of them than if it was

truncated. So that's reason for the 60

character limit. Now there is another

aspect to this as well with regard to

your title. If your title is somewhat

less than 60 characters and if you've

got the space you can add in a benefit.

Now the benefit of adding in a benefit

is that it can also double up as another

main keyword plus you can also probably

get a couple more tags to show in the

tag section as well, and that in itself

will give a boost for your video to be

listed on the YouTube search

listings and also on Google as well. To

show that to you graphically come and

join me over at the computer and I'll

see you on the other side where I'll

also introduce you to yet another handy

tip. Hello, and here we are at the

computer. In fact, we're in front of a

Word document because what I want to do

is just take you through an example that

I put together before we actually go

through the process of uploading a video

to YouTube. So, basically what I've done

I've chosen the following title as an

example "How To Choose Your Next Skiing

Holiday - And Save Time". Now, this is made

up of 55 characters and the reason I've

kept it to below 60 is, if you remember,

the number 60 or 60 character number is

the limit before any title of the

YouTube thumbnail is cut off on Google.

So that's the purpose of keeping it

below the 60 character limit. Now the

title can be broken down into numerous

components and first of all this

particular title is a "How To" title. It's

one of the best type of video titles to

have especially if it's a video that's

educational in nature - it's a bit like a

tutorial video where you're giving

someone some great information and added

value. Now the other thing is that the

title is the main keyword, in this case

"How To Choose Your Next Skiing Holiday",

so that's a plus point. And at the end of

it we have a benefit that's being shown

and anyone that's had to book a skiing

holiday in this instance would

understand that saving time is a big

plus. Especially in Europe. In Europe,

especially if you go with a family

or there's an odd number in your party

trying to find a single room can be

quite a challenge and you do end up - you do

spend a lot of time - looking for the

right accommodation, the right resort. So

saving time choosing the next skiing

holiday is a big, big benefit. And the

other thing is that the benefit can be

combined with the main title to create

other great keywords and tags. Obviously,

you have to do a bit of research on

Keyword Planner, for example, but you can

come up - I'm sure you can come up - with

some great keywords there. And the final thing

is that going back to what I mentioned

about the title being less than 60

characters, the viewer can see the whole

title plus the main benefit and that,

purely from a marketing point of view, is

a positive. So hope that makes sense.

Let's go over and see how it all works

when we upload an old YouTube video.

Okay, so here we are at a video that's just been

uploaded to YouTube and slotting in the

title here "How To Choose Your Next

Skiing Holiday - And Save Time.

As you can see it's 55

characters long. It's less than the 60

that I mentioned earlier whereby if you

want to make sure that your full title

is shown without being truncated on

Google it needs to be below the 60

character mark and this is where you're

aiming to get your video shown as a

video thumbnail [image] on Google. Next thing we

do is - following good practice - is to show

the relevant URL. In this case, it's a

website address, followed by repeating

the title and the main benefit as well.

And then the rest of the description box

in this instance we'll put in some

description and that'll be sprinkled

with a number of keywords as well. And

then we come down to the tags which are

the keywords - other keywords - and normally

what you would do you'd find these by

undertaking your research using Google

Keyword Planner, for example. For the purposes

of this exercise I've mixed up the title

with the benefit here and put my own in.

So that is basically how you can

maximize the benefit of your title and

the real thing that I'm emphasizing here

is the benefit and I'll talk to you very

shortly as to why the main benefit in

the title is so important. Okay let's

step back from the computer for a while.

Now in case you're wondering why showing

the main or the main benefits is

important in the title is because

viewers want to know W-I-I-F-M. It's not a

radio station.

It stands for "What's in it for me?" and if

your title resonates with the viewer i.e.

in this case, saving time booking a

skiing holiday then if that triggers

something in the viewers mind along the

lines of: "...well anything that saves me

time is worth watching...." then that's one

extra view you might not have otherwise

got. I hope these tips have come in handy
