They come in many shapes, sizes, and colors, but jellyfish are found in every ocean in
the world.
If there's saltwater - whether it's warm tropical seas or frigid polar waters - jellyfish are
there!
Jellyfish belong to a large group of animals called cnidarians.
Cnidarians are one of the most common types of sea animals with more than 10,000 species.
Along with jellyfish, cnidarians include sea anemones, corals, sea fans, and freshwater
hydras.
The smallest jellyfish may only reach about the size of your thumbnail.
The largest jellyfish, the lion's mane jellyfish, may reach a size of 7 feet or 2.3 meters across,
with tentacles 121 feet or 37 meters long.
Jellyfish are invertebrates.
That means they do not have backbones.
In fact, jellyfish have no bones at all!
They don't have eyes, ears, hearts, or brains either.
Unlike fish, jellyfish have no gills.
Instead, they absorb oxygen through their skin.
Jellyfish also swim in a way that is very unlike how fish swim.
Jellyfish use a simple type of jet propulsion to get around: they open their body like an
umbrella and then close it.
By contracting their body, the water inside is forced out and the jellyfish moves forward.
Constantly moving is the only thing keeping jellyfish afloat, but even with this effort
they can be easily pushed around by strong winds or ocean currents, which is what leads
some jellyfish to be washed up on beaches.
The top of a jellyfish is called the bell, and their jellylike bodies are made almost
entirely of water - about 95%.
Depending on the species of jellyfish, they may also have frilly oral arms or long tentacles.
Some jellyfish have light sensors, called eye spots, that can sense sunlight and help
the jellyfish know which way is up, and some jellyfish are bio-luminescent, which means
that they can produce light from their bodies, kind of like a firefly.
Although no one knows for certain why they light up, scientists believe it to be a defense
mechanism, to startle a predator away, or perhaps to attract another predator to eat
their attacker.
Jellyfish are largely transparent, which means you can see through them.
This makes them difficult to see in the water, which helps them hide from predators that
would like to eat them, like sea turtles, sharks, swordfish, and even other jellyfish.
Jellyfish are carnivores themselves, but they do not hunt their prey.
They wait for fish or other small animals to get caught in their tentacles.
The tentacles are covered in stinging cells which burst and inject venom into their prey,
paralyzing it.
Jellyfish can also sting humans, and while some jellyfish stings are just painful, some
types of jellyfish can deliver a sting that can kill.
Jellyfish have a complex and interesting life cycle.
Usually, they begin as eggs, floating in the ocean currents.
Each egg will then develop into a planula: a swimming larval form.
After a few days, the planula will find something sturdy to anchor itself to and undergo a transformation
into a polyp.
Polyps look a bit like underwater flowers, using their tentacles to catch and eat zooplankton.
Eventually the polyps begin to bud, splitting off into an ephyra, or immature jelly, which
then develops into a medusa, the form we usually recognize as a jellyfish.
Despite all of the time it took to get there, a mature jellyfish usually only lives up to
about a year.
Distinctive and often beautiful, jellyfish may seem like calm and peaceful ocean creatures.
Although some types of jellyfish are harmless, others are dangerous predators that can prove
painful or even deadly to those who venture too close.

You know, I'm a lot of things.
5'10, a size 16, Atheist, black trans chick who's transgender and happens to be an obnoxious
SJW- if you couldn't already tell by the identity politics.
And shock upon shock, not every dude I've met has been into me.
At a certain point in my life, this used to bother me- I mean no one likes being rejected,
but I often got rejected for things that i just couldn't change.
When I was single, I'd get rejected the most for my race and my trans status.
I mean, people not liking that I was black was something that I had learned to anticipate.
Living in a society that exhalts whiteness, people preferring a white girl over me isn't
that shocking honestly- but what used to mess with me the most was being rejected because
I was trans.
And I mean, this would really mess with me.
It would mess with me because there were times where I could meet guys at social events and
they'd be so into me, my personality, my appearance, my hobbies and sometimes even my pesky SJW
ways- but they drew the line at my transness and that cut deep.
It's one thing for someone to look at your skin and say they aren't interested, it's
a whole new thing when they look at you and like everything about you ...but this thing
you can't change.
There were generally a few stages I'd go through in response to this rejection.
Stage one would be me flipping my hair and trying to plea with them.
"I'm just like every other girl- I'm just a little different"
Stage two would be me bragging about my sexual prowess- "No one gives head better than me..
.come on... try it".
Stage three would be where I really doubled down and went straight for it "You're transphobic.
You're attracted to me but you won't pursue this any further.
This makes you transphobic.
It is what it is.".
And I felt this way for a fairly long time.
And well, was I necessarily wrong in this accusation?
Not really- I mean, there's something to be said about how we're all socialized to prefer
cis bodies and only see those bodies as real and anything outside of that as fake.
I don't want to negate that idea completely.. but here's the thing I learned from saying
that time and time.
It doesn't work.
You think you're making a great point that's going to make them reexamine their biases,
but all they hear is an accusation and a very personal one.
Because we're socialized to see cis bodies as the only real and valid bodies, it often
takes people who even have a vague interest in trans people a while to process their attractions
and what they exactly are.
You're trying to pressure someone into deprogramming a bias within literal seconds and that's just
not going to work.
Aside from that not only doesn't it work, but here's what you're indirectly communicating
to them: You're telling this person that you barely
know that your worth is defined by them.
You're effectively giving them your power and your agency.
They have the opportunity to define whether or not you're worth it.
And at the end of them giving you a chance, despite what they usually do, you'll feel
a sense of validation that you frankly should be able to feel without them.
Now look, I understand, as someone who is passionate about social issues, I get it.
We want to teach and explain that these biases exist, but you should never have to convince
someone to consider you as a valid companion.
You should never give anyone that much power.
What you're doing in these situations is debating with someone who probably doesn't care about
why they should.
All they're going to say is that they feel how they feel and will focus on the accusation
more than the self-reflection you're trying to give them.
True Story: Some of the men who rejected me came crawling back after some self reflection
and all they really gave me was a loose ass and a broken heart.
Believe it or not, you are WORTH a person who loves you and embraces you and who you are fully.
In my Opinion, screaming transphobia at the people who reject you is completely pointless.
Quit chasing these people who will require you to be a mediocre and understated version
of yourself, and find someone who is so impressed with who you are
that they wouldn't want to change a thing!

H96 Pro Plus Firmware Upgrade To Android 7.1 - Duration: 7:11.
Welcome, in today's video, we have a demonstration on how to upgrade the firmware for the first
model of the Alfawise H96 Pro plus, Android 6.0 TV box.
After the break, I'll do a step by step demonstration, upgrading the H96 Pro plus to Android 7.1
Nougat.

So I'm back, and as we begin, the H96 line of TV boxes takes the spotlight again with
two-new upgrades.
The first is the new Alfawise H96 Pro plus model currently being sold running on Android
7.1, and the second upgrade is a firmware upgrade for the original model running on
Android 6.0.
So today I'll be doing the firmware upgrade for the original model.
To complete this upgrade you'd need 6 things.
You would need the H96 Pro plus first model, a blank micro SD Card, at least 4GB in size,
a Burn card PC software, the latest firmware, an object like a paper clip to press the reset
button, and a PC or laptop with an SD card slot.
Complete the following steps.
Step 1.
Download the Burn card software, and the latest firmware from the description area below this
video, or from my product page.
Step 2.
Unzip the Burn card software into a folder, this is not an installation file, just a standalone
program.
Step 3.
Unzip the firmware into a folder.
Step 4.
Insert the SD card into the SD card slot on your PC. and take note of the drive letter.
Step 5.
Open the folder where you unzipped the program, and run the burn card program.
Step six.
The program starts in Chinese, an you have to switch to English by selecting the writing
in the top left corner, and select the check box where it says English version.
Click OK to close the option, and then exit the program and restart it again to get it
in English.
Step 7.
Once restarted, at the top select choose disk. and select the drive that the SD card is inserted.
Step 8.
Check the four check boxes, and click the browse button and open the firmware folder.
and select the image file.
Step 9.
Once you have selected the firmware image file, click the make button.
You would be prompted to format the SD card, click the start button and wait for the card
to be formatted.
Once the formatting is completed, click the close button and the burn process will start
automatically.
Once the burn process is completed, click the OK button and close the program.
Step 10.
Remove the SD card from the PC properly, by right clicking on the drive and selecting
eject.
Step 11.
Connect the TV box to your TV, insert the SD card into the SD card slot, and do not
plug in the power cord at this time.
Step 12.
Using your paper clip press and hold the reset button below the box.
While pressing and holding the reset button, plug in the power cord and wait until you
see the box starts.
Release the reset button and the upgrade would begin immediately.
This process takes a few minutes, and once completed the box will reboot automatically.
So I have successfully upgraded the H96 Pro plus to Android 7.1, and just to confirm,
l'll check the system information.
If I click the settings button, as you can see that the settings opens to the right side
of the screen.
The box was flashed so you would need to enable developer options to get full access to all
settings.
You do this by simply clicking repeatedly on the build information until it says that
you are a developer.
If I click more settings, and then about media box, here it shows the model is the H96 Pro
plus, running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The new firmware maintains the Navigation bar at the bottom for easy navigation, and
I'll check to see if the box is still rooted.
It shows that the box is rooted, running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
So this ends my demonstration of the firmware upgrade of the H96 Pro plus to Android 7.1.

It looks beautiful and festive shaped as an unusual flower.
We need: 500g puff pastry,
300g ground meat (with onions),
parsley or dill (I use frozen), 130g cheese,
1 egg, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
Make a stuffing.
Take the ground meat.
Add the mustard.
Tomato sauce.
Parsley.
Grate the cheese coarsely (add 100g).
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Salt a little, because cheese contains salt.
Mix.
Take the puff pastry.
Unfold pastry sheets, pressing fold marks and sealing any tears. Roll it a little in one direction, using rolling pin.
Take a round cutter 2.5 inch diameter.
You can use a regular glass.
Cut out circles of dough.
Gather a dough pieces.
