The Untold Truth Of Alien - Duration: 7:43.

Ridley Scott's Alien is a sci-fi/horror classic, a crazy cocktail of influences that somehow

manages to be more frightening than the sum of its parts.

Everybody who worked on it had their own idea of what Alien would be about.

Perhaps that's why scholars, sci-fi nerds, and film critics alike continue to discover

creepy, unexplored channels within this terrifying masterpiece.

So now let's take a look at the story behind Alien.

Dark Star

If you could trace the origin of Alien back to one single point, it would have to be Dan

O'Bannon's 1974 sci-fi comedy Dark Star.

While attending USC, O'Bannon made a seven-minute horror-suspense short film called "Blood Bath."

The project caught the attention of a young John Carpenter, also a student, and the two

set out to make a science fiction movie for John Carpenter's master's thesis.

They called their finished movie Dark Star, and it...wasn't very good.

It did have an alien in it...but, unfortunately, that alien was a beach ball.

With feet.

According to O'Bannon, "Instead of the most impressive student film ever made we had the

least impressive professional film ever made."

But that crappy film gave birth to a legend:

"Couple years down the line, I decided to do Dark Star as a horror movie instead of

a comedy.

And that was the germ of Alien."

Not many people saw Dark Star, but future Alien director Ridley Scott did — along

with visionary Chilean-French filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky — and it left a lasting impression.

Dune Connections

Jodorowsky was so impressed with Dark Star that he hired O'Bannon to help him adapt Frank

Herbert's space opera Dune for the big screen.

The project ultimately tanked, but Alien was one of many successful projects that rose

from the ashes of Jodorowsky's ill-fated attempt.

O'Bannon moved to Paris to work on Dune, which is where he met met artist Christopher Foss,

who'd later do design work for Alien, as well as future Alien designer H.R. Giger.

Jodorowsky's philosophy of art design also heavily influenced O'Bannon's work on Alien.

He would find his, quote, "spiritual warriors," and then put them together in one big room

to work out a movie's structure.

Later, O'Bannon would use the same strategy to brainstorm about Alien, bringing together

Foss, Giger, and cartoonists Moebius and Ron Cobb to hash out the design for their little

sci-fi horror project.

Script struggles

Ultimately, Brandywine Productions agreed to produce the film for 20th Century Fox,

with Ridley Scott in the director's chair.

But the Nostromo still had some turbulence ahead.

According to O'Bannon, producers David Giler and Walter Hill wanted to completely redo

his script.

So that's exactly what they did.

According to Giler, he and Hill added "the feminist elements everyone is talking about.

We gave the characters texture, functions.

In O'Bannon's draft, they were totally different, military types.

All men.

We changed all the dialogue.

Every word of it."

O'Bannon's original screenplay featured the xenomorph and the wrecked ship, and that's

about where the similarities to the finished film end.

Hill's and Giler's rewrites added Ripley and Dallas and the rest of the gang, not to mention

the whole vast corporate conspiracy subplot and the entire concept for human-looking androids,

an idea that was already an Alien cornerstone by the first sequel.

"Thank you."

But bizarrely, some drafts also had a time-travel-based plotline featuring Jack the Ripper, Hercules,

and Genghis Khan, like a Magic Tree House book...with murderous chest-bursting aliens.

Then there's the Alien that, against all odds, Scott and his team somehow made despite all

the confusion.

As artist Christopher Foss put it to Den of Geek, "Poor old Dan O'Bannon, the bloke whose

concept it was, just got absolutely shafted…

I kind of got the impression that Ridley [Scott] was quietly going his own way, trying to get

on with it and get it done."

Ship shape

The Nostromo, the dark, claustrophobic spaceship where all the Alien action takes place, is

practically another character in the movie.

And Chris Foss and Ron Cobb were essential to the creation of the vessel.

But the final result didn't come right away — the team worked on the design for five

whole months, pretty much the whole time the producers were trying to find a director for

the movie.

And some of those designs got...weird.

Foss' had "endless spacecraft designs suggesting submarines, diesel locomotives, Mayan interceptors,

Mississippi river boats, [and] jumbo space arks."

But in the end, they were simply too outlandish for the producers to get on board.

The Nostromo's final design came from one of Ron Cobb's simpler sketches, and even then,

Ridley Scott made the ship's modeler get rid of Cobb's original yellow color scheme in

favor of the flat gray that made it into the film.

Casting chaos

Before Sigourney Weaver got the part of Ripley, none other than Meryl Streep was on the short

list of candidates to be offered the role.

Streep is, of course, ridiculously talented.

And Alien probably would have been just fine with her in the lead role.

But fate intervened.

In 1978, Streep's romantic partner, actor John Cazale, passed away, and nobody felt

comfortable interrupting her mourning to make the offer.

As it turns out, Ripley wasn't even Sigourney Weaver's first choice.

She said in an interview, "Actually the part I wanted to play was Lambert, Veronica Cartwright's

part.

In the first script I read, [Lambert] just cracked jokes the whole time…That's the

character I could identify with."

And while Weaver wanted the part of Lambert, Veronica Cartwright was dead set on playing

Ripley.

It was only just before shooting began that Cartwright was told their roles had been switched.

"I get a call.

And they said, 'Okay we need you to come in for your wardrobe for Lambert.'

And I said, h'old on I'm not Lambert, I'm Ripley.'

'No, no, you're Lambert.'"

Obviously, the decisions all worked out in the end, but it's interesting to consider

how close we were to getting a completely different movie.

Silly scenes

Ridley Scott worked hard to preserve the "less is more" aesthetic that made Alien so terrifying,

and that meant cutting a lot of scenes from the final film.

Some of the biggest cuts were made because they looked...kinda stupid.

For example, Lambert's death is haunting because most of it is implied and offscreen.

The camera cuts away just before the alien gets her, so we don't actually see what happens.

But her death was filmed.

It just looked way too cheesy.

By the same token, Brett's death in the final film is terrifying, but the extended cut of

that scene is borderline absurd:

"I'm not gonna hurt ya."

Academic legacy

For a sci-fi horror creature feature, Alien gets a surprising amount of love in the academic

world.

Case in point: June 2017 saw the publication of a book called Alien and Philosophy, a collection

of essays on all things Alien.

It's heady stuff, but it just goes to show there's more to the xenomorph than a facehugger,

a chestburster, and "a man in a crocodile suit."

If the grotesque imagery, state-of-the-art special effects, and storied production aren't

enough to build a compelling Film Theory thesis, then maybe all those Freudian themes will

do the trick.

She was raped and beaten extensively such that the mind will not be able to handle it,

causing an alternative personality to shoulder the harm in place of herself.

Moreover, intense pain physically causes the soul to leave the body, or in layman terms:

Astral projection will occur.

When the soul leaves the body, Beth claims the cult uses this opportunity to place a

demonic presence in the empty body, which will hold power over the alters, causing the

alters to be forever loyal to the cult.

This was not the only horrific means used to get their members' loyalty.

Beth also claimed that death threats and being put to death and then being revived again

were another way to instill loyalty into the cult's members.

That is not all.

The story continues into more horrifying experiences, and after Beth was free from the cult, she

was introduced into a coven, where she suffers even further.

She met a man and fell in love with him, only to have him drug her and carry out a forced

abortion on her.

To this day, Beth claims she cannot have a daughter, already giving birth to 4 sons.

These experiences really are too scary to even think of, and that maybe one might be

part of a cult because they do not know the existence of their alters is just terrifying.

However, Beth is now on the path of inner healing along with her husband, who was once

also a part of the coven and is now

in the light.

Tim Maudlin: A Defense of the Reality of Time - Duration: 2:37.

You will hear some very strange things from physicists sometimes that according to the

theory of relativity, the passage of time is an illusion, that time doesn't really change,

that there really is no motion, that everything is somehow existing all together and frozen.

I find those claims to be, frankly, incredible and would be more amazing a discovery than

anything that's happened in the history of mankind to find out that all of change and

all of time and the passage of time doesn't really happen.

I've been asking myself: How did people come to think that?

And I think the answer is this: That when we think about space and time in general relativity,

we try to use the geometrical tools and the mathematical tools that were developed for

expressing geometrical structure, and that those tools were originally developed just

for space, like for Euclidean geometry for understanding the structure of space

around us.

And in space there is no direction.

There is no fundamental, intrinsic directionality in spatial structure, so you wouldn't naturally

develop mathematical tools to represent intrinsic directionality.

And what happened is taking those tools that were developed for one purpose, you then use

them for this other purpose.

For not only describing space but time, and you end up saying things like, "Oh time is

just another dimension like space."

Time is spatialized.

In doing so, you loose track of the directionality of time.

You loose track of the fact that time is fundamentally different from space in that it has an intrinsic

direction to it.

It goes from the past to the future, and we would never say space goes from the East to

the West or the top to the bottom any more than the bottom to the top.

What I've been doing recently is developing a different mathematical way of representing

geometrical structure that has directionality built into it in a very natural way, that

you can represent both things that have an intrinsic directionality and things that don't.

And in that picture it looks like the right thing to say about relativity is not that

is spatializes time which makes the direction of time very puzzling, but that it temporalizes

space, that really what's fundamental is temporal structure, is time structure, and that in

a certain sense spatial structure derives from that.

Last week we washed it and polished it but over the weekend it got dirty so we're going

to clean it up and get it looking right again.

I'm going to use a quick detail spray, this is our Synthetic Quick Detailer.

All you need to do is spray it on the surface just like any quick detail spray or waterless product.

I'll let this sit so it emulsifies the dirt.

Over the weekend it was doing some driving and it picked up all kinds of airborne debris

and stuff that lands on it and we don't want that to scratch the surface.

What's great about this product is that it encapsulates the dirt so that you are wiping

it all away without scratching the surface, which on black will show every imperfection

and also since this is a dark colored car it tends to collect a lot of static but this

will create an anti-static film that reduces the amount of debris that clings to the car

which keeps it cleaner for longer.

I'll also be using these professional grade microfiber towels, they are super plush so

it'll pick up all the product without streaking or smearing and also it has this silk banded

edge to prevent installing any scratches or swirls.

Wipe in one direction and this will pick up all the product.

Avoid going in any circular motions because if you pick up anything that could scratch

the paint it will create a swirl which is a lot easier to notice and a lot harder to

polish out.

This towel is double sided, on one side it has a softer plush side to pick up all the

debris and on the other side after flipping it over, it has a lower cut pile to buff off

any excess.

Synthetic Quick Detailer can be used on any painted surfaces, glass, clear plastic surfaces,

chrome and anything that is basically shiny, painted or clear.

Just spray it on the surface and it encapsulates all the dirt and anything on the surface and

take your clean microfiber towel and buff it off.

This will leave a streak free shine and it gives it a water repellent barrier and as

I said before it will have anti-static properties so things don't cling to it keeping it cleaner

for longer.

Just using the Synthetic Quick Detail Spray I'll spray it on and let it sit to pick up

most of the brake dust or anything that can harm the surface.

Usually we use either a black or gray towel but I wanted to show you guys how dirty these

rims actually are.

I'll wipe the same way I was wiping the paint and glass.

It'll pick up all that junk and makes the rims look really nice while it's protecting

it due to the anti-static layer which will keep these clean and help repel brake dust

and water spots to keep the surface as shiny as it can be.

You can already see it has all this junk on it and this is all the stuff that sits that

although the rim looks clean it is actually harming the surface.

Brake dust has corrosive material in it that can embed into the rim and start deteriorating

the finish.

So we're going to clean it up and get it looking right.

The Synthetic Quick Detailer picked up all the loose dirt and debris that was sitting

on the paint without scratching.

It has also created an anti-static barrier which is going to keep the car cleaner for longer.

I left half the car dirty to show you guys the big difference that the quick detailer

actually makes.

Aloha everyone !

Today we wanted to present you a small review because,

as you know, for now, we decided to do parternership

because we wanted to do really big projects

and present you some videos that just, makes you dream we hope.

So, we wanted to realise a special project, a Sword art Online CMV,

and today we wanted to present you Kirito's wig sent by L'email wig,

and today I also wanted to present you small tutorials because it's a short wig,

so exept the fact that the wig is very beautiful and the shape is perfect to the character,

there's nothing more to say

and I saw in the comments that many of you asked for wigs tutorials,

about how to put it, how to stylise it etc,

so I told my self, go it's a short wig so you have to make tutorials.

It's simple and you can do many characters, so let's go for the tutorial !

First thing when you want to put on a wig is to have a wig cap.

Be careful it's not the net around the wig, it's a special wig cap.

So, You need to distribute your hair inside the wig cap to avoid a « egg head » shape

In a second hand, Inside of your wig,

I hope you can see because the wig is black and the net inside is too,

but you will find some elastic band inside.

You need to adjust them to the size of your head.

I have a small head so I try to put it the smaller I can.

And be careful because I see some people that put them together

or put them around their neck and that's very dangerous.

So the ones who put it around your neck, just stop this now because it's not what you have to do,

and for the ones who put them together, I've done that for my Rin's wig

and they broke so that's a shame because it just damage your wig,

so really, put it inside the wig, in the holes done for that

So, when the wig is put on, you can now stylise it, cut it and more.

So I think this one is perfect for Kirito because he don't have fluffy hair

and here is perfect so maybe I need to cut it a bit here but the shape is perfect

and it's a very thick wig so you can't see the hair under the wig,

even if you're blonde or other colours.

I think we can do many many characters with this kind of wig.

So, I cut the bangs, and I told myself that many of you don't have hairdresser scissors,

so it's possible to cut your wig with « normal scissors »

but if you want to, totally avoid to cut horizontally.

Never do it.

So I cut vertically continuing the shape of the bangs.

Because many anime character have this shape of bang,

so if you want to cut your wigs and you don't have hairdresser scissors, cut slowly,

and vertically. Really.

Also if you want an effect like this on your wig,

stuck around your face,

you can use some washable glue,

or you can use some hair clip and some hairspray.

So I use some black hair clip and a bit of hairspray,

and you can give the wig the shape you want.

So, like this, Kirito's bang won't move.

And here too.

So now the hairspray is dry so we can take off the hair clips,

here and here, and tadaam !

I used this technic for many of my wigs !

So if you want to change the style of your wig,

so imagine tomorrow I want to do a Jumin cosplay,

you just need to wash your wig and the hairspray will go away

and you can stylise again.

My last advice is that if you want to make your wig thicker

and a bit spiky,

and that's with this advice that you can do some wigs like Nick or Jumin, and give this special shape.

You need, a hairdryer and a hairspray, that's all !

and you only need to put hairspray in the same way as your hairdryer,

So, that's the end of this first tutorial for wigs,

you can really give a natural hair style to the wig,

so the wig is very thick and very good to wear.

Hello everyone, Dreamy here. Hope you are fine.

Today, let's finish this Inktober Challenge 2016 collection ! Yay !

We finally made it through with 12 drawings.

I know, "only" 12. I should have drawn everyday during october.

So 31 days = 31 drawings... but I really didn't have enough time.

I also didn't want to postpone the challenge (but notice how I postponed these videos... hm hm !)

Anyway, I spent quite some time on these drawings and I am pleased with how it turned out.

And for this last drawing, I decided to choose an animal !

Last time, it was a man ! So it was already special^^

And I wanted something original for this last drawing so I present you Puss in Boots !

I wanted to draw him for some time.

So when I saw he was on the list, I thought this could be interesting.

I love cats :3 even though I don't really know how to draw them.

It was livestreamed, just after Rapunzel I believe.

I got some time left then so I did this little cat with you.

I didn't choose a realistic design. Puss in Boots, as the name suggests, has boots.

He really can walk like a human, on his two feet.

And he wears a feather hat, like the Musketeers.

That's quite a fancy cat... I did some research and I found it was a tale by Perrault.

But it was originally an Italian tale. Now you understand why this cat is so classy and talkative !

This cat will help his master to achieve all sorts of things using tricks.

This is so Italian^^

And it's quite unusual, there is no princess to save.

I wanted him to be cute, using a "chibi" style.

Looks like a kitten with boots too big for him ! I I found it funny.

With big round eyes and tiny pointed teeth^^

I never used this technique before and I really enjoyed it. What about you ?

But here at Mystic aquarium she is one of our veteran sea lions

She does a ton of fun behaviors. She has the sea lion roll.

And she can also demonstrate for all of you, just how strong sea lions are

by supporting all her entire body weight on just those front two flippers

Cali also knows the importance of conserving and protecting our ocean planet though.

She knows that one way we can all conserve energy everywhere at home is by turning off the lights whenever we are ready to leave the room.

But not only that, but she can show you her impression of a seal moving on land.

and bring it all the way back to her nearest recycling bin

Our next California sea lion started from the bottom and now she's here!

She looks sweet, but acts spunky!

Clara's also a rescued sea lion

In fact all six of the California sea lions in the foxwoods marine theater were once stranded animals and needed to be rescued.

Even though Clara is one of our youngest sea lions, she's learned a lot of behaviors, including...

Now one thing that Clara and I are currently working on is her dance behavior

so we're going to see if she can alternate moving her front flippers...

...and dance...

Good...that was a great job!

Now, Clara inspires people every day by just being so darn cute

But if you do see these animals in the wild, please do not approach them.

Hi everyone. This is Emiri from Beautiform New York.

Today, I am going to try on a bunny makeup look that I saw on the 1st episode of a Japanese TV drama currently airing, which is called "It's All About The Looks".

So the finished look is like this.

This makeup is very different to what I usually wear. It gives softer and more feminine impressions.

Hope this is going to be helpful for you.

Let's start!

First of all, I'm going to apply sun screen on my face. I also use it as a facial primer.

Same product as you've seen in my last makeup video.

Next is foundation.

I'm going to use this one today.

This is the old version. La Mer The Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF 15 in Porcelain.

Applying concealer next.

Concealer is same as usual. La Mer The Concealer in Medium.

Next is powder.

Powder is also same as usual. La Mer The Powder.

My base makeup is done so I'm going to apply eyeshadow primer.

This is almost running out. I need to buy a new one.

Oh, I remember now that I already have an eyeshadow primer from e.l.f. So I'll try that next.

I'm going to draw my eyebrows next.

This look is softer than what I usually do so instead of drawing with grey and black pencils, I'm going to use brown powder.

I shouldn't be using this eyebrow kit as it is super old, but here it is.

This from Lancome.

Brush is this one.

Chacott Eyebrow Brush.

I finished drawing my eyebrows.

I'm going to apply eyeshadow next.

I'll be using 2 reasonable eyeshadows today.

First one is this one.

It's from e.l.f. in Birthday Cake.

I'll be just using this old brush.

This brush, I purchased in Australia when I was studying there back then.

Super old. Probably like 15 years old.

I'm applying eyeshadow all over the eye rid.

Applying a little under the eye also.

And as an accent, I'll be using this eyeshadow.

This is Wet n Wild Eyeshadow in Cheeky.

These eyeshadows are both around $2, and they aren't bad at all.

Using the same brush

applying just by the eyelash.

I'm also applying under the pupil.

So next, I'm going to apply some highlighter on the inside corners of my eyes.

Loreal Infallible in Iced Latte.

I'm using this thin brush.

And next, I'll be applying some highlighter under my eyebrows.

This time, using matte eye shadow instead of sheer one.

One on the bottom left in cream white.

This is Tarte Cosmetics Tartlette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette.

Just using my finger to apply.

I'm going to blend everything with a blending brush.

My eyes are now looking soft pink.

Next is eyeliner. I usually use a liquid eyeliner, but I'll be using cream eyeliner in brown.

e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner in Coffee.

The brush I'm going to use is this one.

This is Bobbi Brown Eyeliner Brush.

When I was watching the drama, I saw that they put eyeliner on thicker above the pupil area so I'm gonna try the same.

I'm also gonna apply eyeliner on outside 1/3 of under the eye area.

Connect the end with the line above.

Eyeliner is done so mascara next.

Mascara is same as usual.

Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Mascara in Black.

I'll be applying blush next.

To create a bunny makeup look, I think blush is one of the important steps, and I'm going to use this one.

It's also from e.l.f.

This pink may look too bright, but actually it works well to create cute pink cheeks.

The color is called pink passion.

Brush is this one from e.l.f.

Ultimate Blending Brush.

Going to apply on the highest point of cheekbone.

I'll be applying a little highlighter on the cheek area.

Again, it is from e.l.f.

e.l.f. Radiance Enhancer in Spotlight.

This is brush type gel highlighter.

Lastly, lipstick.

I'm choosing this lipstick to apply today.

YSL Rouge Volupte in #29.

Showing you the color.

I want it to apply light so I'm gonna blend it with my finger.

Now lipstick is done. I'm gonna apply some lip gloss now.

Lip gloss I'll be using is this one I purchased some time ago.

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Gloss in #865.

Just take a little on your finger, and

apply it only on the highest area of your lips.

The makeup is done! I'm gonna let my bangs down now.

Done and done!

Usually I have straight bangs, but this makeup look is more feminine so I created side bangs today.

Curves on your hair makes you look more feminine.

What do you think?

This makeup is not like my usual makeup.

Usually, I apply darker eye shadow and draw my eyebrows sharper with gray and black pencils.

This gives totally different impression, but I hope it is helpful for you.

Dihydrogen monoxide

Hidden killer

Even very small amounts of the chemical, if inhaled, may cost you your life.

Exposure to vapor causes burns.

Everyone can get addicted to dihydrogen monoxide, and unfortunately, lack of the daily dose will cost your life.

According to World Health Organization data, these chemical are getting an average of 360 thousand lives each year.

Today I'm not going to tell you not to use it.

Because I am also a user of dihydrogen monoxide.

The first time in April 1, 1983 the Durand Express published the article about the chemical.

World heard it for the first time.

But the newspaper was criticized for making society anxious.

However, the newspaper was writing the truth. The critics, however, said that the substance is harmless

We can use it in daily life

Imagine a substance that is one of the essential components of nuclear power plant, and is used in the production of biological and chemical weapons

but also harmless in our daily lives ...

In addition, all the fruits and vegetables have it because DHMO is used in agriculture.

The funny thing is, dihydrogen monoxide is not gone when we wash it, because they exist in the dams.

Its effects on the human body is scientifically proven:

- Sweating - Frequent toilet needs - nausea, vomiting

In 1989, the University of California Students formed the Movement for the Prohibition of dihydrogen monoxide

and they began to collect signatures from students.

Even students were tried for distributing flyers at the streets.

Today there are many campaigns and movements explaining the dangers of this chemical.

In order to announce the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide, there are some online campaigns in Turkey, too.

Perhaps you may want to sign, but please stop! Give me a second.

I would like to mention one more thing.

The thing that the supporters of these campaigns didn't do.

Questioning

Let's question this information I gave to you, before we sign.

Fortunately, in the 21st century this process is much simpler.

We Google Hydrogen Monoxide and we read the description at Wikipedia together:

WATER

abundant in the world, which is indispensable for life, odorless and tasteless compound.

Yeah. It is water, which is indispensable for life on Earth.

The funny thing is the campaigns are run on the internet

The internet, that in fact, tell us that dihydrogen monoxide is water.

How gullible are we?

In 1997, Nathan Zohner won the price with the same-named project at science fair.

50 students visited the stand of 14 year old Nathan.

43 students had signed to support full ban. Nathan summed up his research as follows:

"Using scientific facts it is possible to make community reach the wrong conclusion."

It is not a difficult process because questioning has always taught us as a negative thing.

However, we learn everything by asking questions.

The moment we stop asking questions, we in fact stop thinking.

In the age of 4 we ask 300 questions daily, while we ask less than 100 when we became adult.

To become a better person, not to ban dihydrogen monoxide and ruin our lives

we need to ask more questions, we need to learn more, we need to question more.

Lastly, I'm going to ask you a question.

I wonder, how many "campaigns" did we sign without questioning?

Google Pixel 2 First Look! (Price, Release Date, Specifications and Leaks!) - Duration: 4:08.

Google is rumored to launch not two, but three Android flagship smartphones this year.

These upcoming smartphones dubbed Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2 XXL are nicknamed

Muskie, Walleye and Taimen.

While not a lot is known about these devices, an alleged benchmarking listing for Taimen

has surfaced online, hinting at how it will fare against its competitors.

Taimen on GeekBench shows a score of 1,804 in single-core test, and 6,248 in multi-core

test.

In comparison, the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8+ scored 1,929 in single-core and 6,084

in multi-score tests.

The original Google Pixel XL, on the other hand, scored 1.648 in single-core tests and

4,121 in multi-core tests.

Considering the Google smartphone will take on the biggies of this year, the less than

spectacular scores can be a bit of a concern.

That said, there could be a possibility that Google Pixel 2 XXL aka Taimen might be more

of a tablet and come with average specifications.

In this scenario, it would be the Google Pixel 2 XL aka Walleye that will take on the likes

of Apple iPhone 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8+ and the upcoming OnePlus 5.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL were both launched in October 2016, so we'd expect to see the

Pixel 2 roughly a year later, in or around October 2017.

According to one source the Pixel 2 will apparently carry a higher price tag than its predecessors

- something we hope doesn't turn out to be true.

The old one started at $649 or $769 for the XL version, so it was already expensive.

Google has tried to put an order for curved OLED screens with the LG Display Company,

which suggests the company is ready to embrace curved screens on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2

XL.

Another rumor for the Google Pixel 2 is it will come with a waterproof design.

A Senior Editor at 9to5Google reported a source has said the phone will be dunkable when it's

released.

They also revealed that the Pixel 2 will feature an improved chipset and camera, which could

go some way to justifying the rumored higher price.

The same source then got back in contact with 9to5Google to reveal that the search giant

is currently Elsewhere, we've heard that the Pixel 2 might

ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack, which seems odd given that Google actively highlighted

its presence in advertising for the original Pixel.

As for other Pixel 2 rumors, there are precisely zero so far.

But we can take an educated guess at some of the things we're likely to see.

For example, the Snapdragon 835 looks like the chipset of choice for 2017 flagships,

so there's a good chance the Pixel 2 will use that, though with a likely late 2017 launch

Google may opt for something even newer.

It's also likely to have 6GB of RAM, as that too is rumored for a number of phones.

One thing we can be pretty sure of is that the Pixel 2 will run whatever the latest version

of Android is at the time, and there's a good chance that it will launch alongside

Android O. Google also heavily marketed the Pixel on

its camera skills, so further improvements there are likely, but the company may stick

with what works – which could mean the same 12.3MP sensor.

I'm overweight I'm always late I've got

too many things to say I know everyone's

got their own opinions and different

thoughts huddle this way and how to do

that I'm just trying to make it more

realistic for those that really struggle

because of health or whatever so I'm not

going to give you some fad diet I'm just

going to be realistic so if you don't

agree I'm sorry I'm just sharing what

I'm doing they say the best diet to be

on is one that you can be on forever so

that's what I'm going for and I know I'm

going to find my mess ups as I go along

but that's part of the journey of

learning right you only learn when we

screw up but though I should be really

really really smart by now I had brought

up that I wanted to start making videos

to share with you if you were interested

in my little journey to get healthier

with some fat while having a chronic

illness cause I think a lot of people

feel that's impossible I want to do it

and I know some of you want to do it

with me now so thank you for those that

we're encouraging and said that you

wanted to join me and I share a few

things every week along with my truth

and if it was good or bad kind of hold

myself accountable to it this week would

be technically week number two for me

week one for you guys okay I kind of

want to be a week ahead share with you

where I screwed up where I get good what

results have been and it's embarrassing

to say to the whole world but Shh

I have reached a weight from when I was

pregnant and I am 206 pounds it hurts to

say that but after two weeks I am at 200

no first thing I was want you to do is

weigh yourself okay good idea and while

I say that I want you to know please

don't obsess

over your wait I've seen this thing where

there is a study done five ten different

ladies all same exact weight but it

showed how different everyone could look

if I can find it I'll share the link in

the description box so you can check it

out big eye-opener for me it was just

really crazy how different was I don't

want to obsess over your weight and that

leads into the second one which is

measured yourself just grab a flimsy I

have to do this yet and just you know

measure sinks biggest part of your arms

your chest the measurement is what

really matters before the weight okay

okay so we got do your weight take a

measurement and I will put I'll put

everything in the description box so

once you forget just check down below

you're going to hate three but I promise

you it's going to help okay so I'm sorry

right here it's what you still got to do

it okay if you really want to do this to

do this do this for yourself and that is

start a food diary don't need no fancy

diary don't need to go buy a fancy

journal all that matters is that you

write down everything you put in your

mouth for just this week okay just this

week if you want to do it longer awesome

but just promise me that's one week

after you put down everything you've

eaten drinking on the bottom I want you

to share how you felt that'll help you

through the week realize exactly what

you're eating and it kind of helps hold

yourself accountable to it so even if

it's bad you still write that down and

you'll be able to find out later where

you kind of fall short although you have

a general idea it really will help

number four is find your goal shirt or

your goal pants and don't make it too

extreme grab something that maybe you're

not so happy how your arms fit in or

something looser belly which is me like

I am gotten bigger since I've had my

second kid Oh Xander but my belly oh my

lord but working on it to make it

healthier the whole thing is just to be

healthier and be more happy with the

skin you're in kind of thing you know so

I have my goal shirt on right now no

mean comments people just showing you

how it is

I can't really see I got a quick gut but

see what I mean

it's like yeah this is my goal shirt

okay last one number five is to help

encourage you you can help where your

goal sir around like I am right now yoga

pants or something that I feel a little

bit more like moving around because I

know how hard it is when you're not

feeling good good meme I got took them

bothering me today and my legs are

aching it's really cloudy today so it's

just a little extra encouragement and

you pick like more of like a workout

shirt it's like more form-fitting

everybody is so different and it's just

me sharing this maybe you'll find

something I click for you give a shot

see what happens and because I Ella to

fail but I'm going to at least give it

my best shot this week I have been

watching more portions and the biggest

thing I have found myself doing is that

I could go all day I get up at 2:40

every morning and go to bed 8 or 9 which

I know that's not much sleep that you're

supposed to get when in all reality you

don't see a fibro that you're not

getting that deep sleep even if you were

to sleep for 20 hours so but I could go

all day without eating until like

mid-afternoon or almost dinner and I

usually do in dinner early that's what

I've been doing and I fish I just been

keeping it up with my stretches and

sometimes a little yoga but you'll have

to worry about none of that right now

just right now the focuses what's going

in your body yourself okay you can take

a picture of it but I hope some of you

will do this with me I think it'll be

really encouraging that just for you but

for me too I don't have that walking

buddy how you guys are kind of my

walking above you I plan on doing these

videos on Fridays comment below let me

you're not looking forward to for this

week I think so much I appreciate it and

VEGAN TUCK BOX UNBOXING 📦 MAY 2017 - Duration: 11:07.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my

channel. This is an unboxing video of my

vegan tuck box of this month. I have

can check it out. This is what the box looks

your first welcomed with a document that

lists all the products and prices and

they usually include a card as well as

some tea.

First, we have kale chips 'The Rawlicious Food Co."

They look like these

I've actually never tried kale chips. I've never bought them before

because they are so expensive so... yeah

Smells... a bit like chili or paprika

So, first taste test ever

Disclaimer: ehm, here I am pulling faces... the first time I tried it I didn't really like them

but they became quite addictive and they were actually pretty good!

I've never tried anything like this

It kind of has like a... I don't know why but

a fishy taste which I don't really like

So overall I don't think I would

buy them because they retail for £2,50

which is really expensive but it was a

nice treat

I give them a three out of five

Next, we'll go with the big ones

Vegan Bakery: Sweet Crunchies

So I guess the ingredients are not the best

Ingredients: Wheat flour, palm oil

sugar, coarse sugar, glucose-fructose syrup,

desiccated coconut, soy flour, salt, raising

agents, vanilla extract

Not the best ingredients to be honest

But let's try this. It's made in Germany.

And smells sweet

Oh man!

That is a lot of them!

There's loads

How am I going to eat all these?

I'm not a cookie person

They were tasty and crunchy however

they are not my favorite. When I look for a cookie I look for

something with chocolate to be honest

It's just plain. It's fine, I mean I guess you can

eat it with your English tea but since I never have (English) tea

I think my boyfriend is going to eat these more than me

but I guess they are good to have (in your cupboard)

I wouldn't buy it but they are tasty

so out of 5, 3 out of 5. I'm so picky with food.

I feel bad for giving such low ratings

Anyway, next we have gluten-free Neats rice crackers

It's a rice cracker but I guess...

thanks to the oil and the sea salt is

like really tasty

I've tried chocolate orange and almond but it

was nice but the almond just stuck in your

teeth and it was quite annoying

I like this over the other chocolate thing

mmm well I'm gonna give this... this is the

best of the box I think, 4.5 out of 5

I think I'm going to get this (last one). It is £1,50 that's good!

So overall I think it's the first time I check

the prices. Overall I paid 9 pounds plus

shipping, so overall I paid 13 quid, it's 9

plus shipping, so in the end 13 quid and

I've been checking this, overall

it's around that price so I'm not that

surprised/impressed but I guess I would never buy

these things if it wasn't because of

this. So it's good to try new sweet things and

and things that I wouldn't buy because

yeah

they are not so healthy

rescue us out of the present evil age according to the will of our God and Father,

To whom be the glory forever and ever.

Amen.

I marvel that you are so quickly removing from Him who has called you in the grace of

Christ to a different gospel, Which is not another gospel, only there are

some who trouble you and desire to pervert the gospel of Christ.

But if even we or an angel out of heaven should announce to you a gospel beyond that which

we have announced to you, let him be accursed.

As we have said before, now also I say again, If anyone announces to you a gospel beyond

that which you have received, let him be accursed.

For am I now trying to win the assent of men or of God?

Or am I seeking to please men?

If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a slave of Christ.

For I make known to you, brothers, concerning the gospel announced by me, that it is not

according to man.

For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through

a revelation by Jesus Christ.

For you have heard of my manner of life formerly in Judaism, that I persecuted the church of

God excessively and ravaged it.

And I advanced in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in my race, being more abundantly a zealot

for the traditions of my fathers.

But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb and called me through

His grace, To reveal His Son in me that I might announce

Him as the gospel among the Gentiles, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,

Neither did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away

to Arabia and again returned to Damascus.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas, and I remained with him fifteen

days.

But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the brother of the Lord.

Now concerning the things which I am writing to you, behold, before God, I am not lying.

Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

Yet I was still unknown by face to the churches of Judea, which are in Christ.

But they only heard this: He who was formerly persecuting us is now announcing as the gospel

the faith which formerly he ravaged.

And they glorified God because of me.
