We all have that one friend who's double jointed -- they can bend their fingers or

whatever backward at what looks like an excruciating angle.

Makes for a neat, if kinda gross, party trick!

But what does "double-jointed" actually mean?

And why do some people have this ability but not others?

No one literally has double the number of joints, but some people do have joints that

are more flexible than the norm.

You can increase your flexibility through training and practice, of course, but some

people are just born this way, and the technical term for this is hypermobility.

One way this can happen is if a person's joints are a bit shallower than usual.

A joint, as you probably already know, is where two bones come together.

The most flexible kind of joint in our bodies is the ball-and-socket joint -- that's what's

in our elbows, hips, and shoulders.

In a ball-and-socket joint, a ball-shaped projection at the end of one bone fits into

an indentation at the end of another.

And the shallower that indentation is, the greater the range of movement the joint has.

So if your friend at the party has particularly bendy elbows, that could be because the socket

in that joint is just unusually shallow.

But hypermobility can also be the result of especially elastic cartilage, the firm but

flexible tissue that can be found in most joints.

Or it could be a function of unusually flexible ligaments, the connective tissue that holds

bones together.

A few genetic conditions -- such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome -- can cause defects in these tissues

that lead to joints being unusually loose.

And hypermobility does have its downsides.

For one thing, it can make it easier than usual to accidentally dislocate joints.

This is when the ends of the bones pop out of their normal positions, which is usually

really painful and requires a doctor to fix.

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in particular comes with a host of unpleasant symptoms besides

the flexibility boost, like skin that bruises easily, wounds that are slow to heal, and

early-onset arthritis.

So even though hypermobility may look cool, it's more than just a party trick.

Do Fish Drink Water? - Duration: 2:54.

If you have a pet, one of your jobs might be to make sure that your pet has plenty of

food and water...

...unless, of course, your pet is a fish!

You have to feed your fish, but you don't have to give them water — there's water

all around them!

But do fish need to drink that water?

Well, some fish do, but some don't!

It all depends on where they live.

You probably already know that your body needs water—for lots of reasons!

It's so important, in fact, that different parts of your body work together to make sure

that there's about the same amount of water inside of it at all times.

If the amount of water gets too low, you get thirsty, and grab a drink.

And if the amount of water gets too high, you get rid of the extra when you pee.

Well, fish also need to keep the right amount of water on the inside of their bodies.

And the water outside of a fish's body can affect whether that fish needs to drink water,

or not.

Most fish live in one of two kinds of water.

Some fish, called freshwater fish, live in places where there's no salt in the water—

like lakes, ponds, and rivers.

Other fish, called saltwater fish, live in water that has lots of salt in it, like the

ocean.

Freshwater fish have an easier time keeping the right amount of water inside of their

bodies.

That's because water enters into a freshwater fish's body right through its gills.

Gills are the body parts that fish use to breathe.

Fish breathe by pulling water into their mouths, then pushing the water over their gills and

out of their body.

And in freshwater fish, gills also end up taking in some of the water, and the fish

ends up with more water in its body.

So freshwater fish don't really have to drink water through their mouths like we do.

These fish actually have to make sure they don't get too much water, and their body

has to work very hard to get rid of the extra water as waste.

While freshwater fish get a lot of water in through their gills...saltwater fish lose

a lot of water through their gills.

As water flows over a saltwater fish's gills, the salt that's in the water outside of

the fish's body sucks out some of the water that's inside of the fish's body through

its gills.

Since water is always moving over a fish's gills, that means water is always leaving

a saltwater fish's body.

And that means that the fish that live in saltwater need to drink—a lot.

Most animals can't drink salt water when they're thirsty, but these fish can!

They gulp and swallow water almost constantly.

Saltwater fish have a special system in their bodies that takes salt and puts it back out

into the ocean…and everything stays in balance!

So, some fish need to drink water, and some don't...it just depends on where they live!

Microsoft's Windows 10 S event in 7 minutes - Duration: 7:10.

Today's event is about education and technology.

More specifically, it is about empowering the students of today to create the world

of tomorrow.

I'm proud today to introduce you to Windows 10 S. We've taken everything that teachers

need and millions of people love about Windows 10 and created a new Windows experience that's

ideal for all of our creative endeavors inside and out of the classroom.

Windows 10 S runs on the full range of Windows 10 hardware.

Hello humans, I'm Ohbot. Who is programming me today?

Now I mentioned that every application that runs on Windows 10 S

is downloaded from the store.

So what happens when the student tryies to download something that's not from the store.

If a teacher or administrator really wants to run that application from the store,

at any time, they can go to that Windows store

and switch the device from Windows 10 S to Windows 10 Pro.

Which would allow them to install the application.

So here I have two devices: a Windows 10 Pro device

and over here we've got comparable applications running on Windows 10 S.

So maybe a student logging into this device for the very first time

And you'll see that the Windows 10 S device is going to login for the very first time

in less than 15 seconds

This 10 Pro device will take 30-40 seconds to login.

Now if the student has been on this device before,

every login after the first one on a Windows 10 S will be less 5 seconds.

School districts are getting new devices all the time

so what we've done, we created a new application called Setup My School PC's.

What gets created is a USB key.

You plug in the USB key, it's detected by Windows, and in less than 30 seconds

I'll be able to pull this USB key out of the device and move onto the next one.

Now the last step in our solution here is Intune for Education.

An administrator during the school year can go in and say,

'Oh, in this classroom the students at this high school', for example, 'let's turn off the camera in that classroom.'

Our partners, including Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, Hp, Samsung and Toshiba

offer a range of new education Windows 10 PC's for education today

All of these new education devices will now come with a free one-year subscription

to Minecraft Education Edition.

Democrats can't figure out how to get their foot out of their mouth anymore.

They talk up a storm and bring nothing to the table.

So it's no shock that someone like Chuck Schumer finds themselves at the helm of the

merciless Internet scrutiny.

This low blow to the Trump administration finds Chuck Schumer, a top democrat in NY,

indirectly threatening the entire Trump family from Barron to the President himself.

Chuck is trying to tell Congress that if the federal government doesn't pay for security

expenses that they endured while Trump was in NY, that they should stop protecting the

first family at all costs.

And what?

Leave President Trump and his family without security?

How absolutely stupid does that sound?

This sounds like Schumer's lame attempt to get out of paying his police officers for

their time.

What about the money brought INTO the city/state whenever Trump is in town?

Surely the revenue boost from tourists and people watchers trying to get a glimpse of

the President and his family are spending big bucks to get sneak peek at the Trump family.

What about Barron Trump?

Just a young fellow in New York, son of the President of the United States of America,

and he's not supposed to have security?

That sounds like a terrible idea.

The boy deserves protection and Schumer just sounds like an irate old man at this point.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), the Senate minority leader, has said if the federal government

doesn't pay for the expenses incurred while New York City police has protect [sic] President

Donald Trump's family, the New York City Police Department should withhold all protection,

according to a report by Buzzfeed.

"[Mayor Bill de Blasio] ought to tell the Congress if we don't pay for it, New York

City cops aren't guarding it, and let the Feds put more people in," Schumer told Buzzfeed.

"That's what I think he should do."

It's a good thing we live in a world where we don't have to specifically ask people

for their opinion, nor care for it either.

This is the perfect time to not care what someone says or thinks.

Maybe every time Chuck the Cuck talks out his wazoo, we can just play a funny song or

break out into a hilarious dance routine to illustrate the point that no one cares what

he says.

I'm sure Mayor de Blasio will figure it out on his own, otherwise, he'll have the

entire police force taking a few days off if they don't get paid.

And, rightfully so.

Our boys in blue deserve to be well paid and highly respected as long as they're doing

a great job.

The Washington Examiner reports New York City spent $24 million on security for Trump Tower

between Election Day and when Trump was inaugurated in January.

Security costs have remained high since the inauguration because first lady Melania Trump

and their son Baron have stayed in New York City while Baron finishes the school year.

Schumer also called Trump in the interview "a huge disappointment to most Americans"

that has shown "sheer incompetence," and he alleged Trump doesn't have any interest

in implementing bipartisan reform.

I'm sure New York City can come up with $24 million in revenue to pay police officers

just from collecting money from parking tickets and overpriced ice cream.

Everything in New York is way overpriced, so I don't want to hear about them not being

able to afford security for the First Family.

I don't want to hear any excuses about them being short on money when a small apartment

costs someone nearly a million dollars and probably has ridiculously high taxes.

Once again, can we please remember that whenever Trump is in a location, that people GO to

the said location and spend money there.

That's called revenue and part of that revenue can be used to pay for the appropriate police

and security to protect our public and our President and his family.

To read about Chuck Schumer trying to leech money out of congress isn't the bad part.

I have no problem with congress providing federal money for it.

expenses that they endured while Trump was in NY, that they should stop protecting the

first family at all costs.

And what?

Leave President Trump and his family without security?

How absolutely stupid does that sound?

This sounds like Schumer's lame attempt to get out of paying his police officers for

their time.

What about the money brought INTO the city/state whenever Trump is in town?

Surely the revenue boost from tourists and people watchers trying to get a glimpse of

the President and his family are spending big bucks to get sneak peek at the Trump family.

What about Barron Trump?

Just a young fellow in New York, son of the President of the United States of America,

and he's not supposed to have security?

That sounds like a terrible idea.

The boy deserves protection and Schumer just sounds like an irate old man at this point.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), the Senate minority leader, has said if the federal government

doesn't pay for the expenses incurred while New York City police has protect [sic] President

Donald Trump's family, the New York City Police Department should withhold all protection,

according to a report by Buzzfeed.

"[Mayor Bill de Blasio] ought to tell the Congress if we don't pay for it, New York

City cops aren't guarding it, and let the Feds put more people in," Schumer told Buzzfeed.

"That's what I think he should do."

It's a good thing we live in a world where we don't have to specifically ask people

for their opinion, nor care for it either.

This is the perfect time to not care what someone says or thinks.

Maybe every time Chuck the Cuck talks out his wazoo, we can just play a funny song or

break out into a hilarious dance routine to illustrate the point that no one cares what

he says.

I'm sure Mayor de Blasio will figure it out on his own, otherwise, he'll have the

entire police force taking a few days off if they don't get paid.

And, rightfully so.

Our boys in blue deserve to be well paid and highly respected as long as they're doing

a great job.

The Washington Examiner reports New York City spent $24 million on security for Trump Tower

between Election Day and when Trump was inaugurated in January.

Security costs have remained high since the inauguration because first lady Melania Trump

and their son Baron have stayed in New York City while Baron finishes the school year.

Schumer also called Trump in the interview "a huge disappointment to most Americans"

that has shown "sheer incompetence," and he alleged Trump doesn't have any interest

in implementing bipartisan reform.

I'm sure New York City can come up with $24 million in revenue to pay police officers

just from collecting money from parking tickets and overpriced ice cream.

Everything in New York is way overpriced, so I don't want to hear about them not being

able to afford security for the First Family.

I don't want to hear any excuses about them being short on money when a small apartment

costs someone nearly a million dollars and probably has ridiculously high taxes.

Once again, can we please remember that whenever Trump is in a location, that people GO to

the said location and spend money there.

That's called revenue and part of that revenue can be used to pay for the appropriate police

and security to protect our public and our President and his family.

To read about Chuck Schumer trying to leech money out of congress isn't the bad part.

I have no problem with congress providing federal money for it.

It's just that Chuck Schumer's intentions don't always sound like the best idea.

His ideas come laced with a bit of negativity.

To even suggest that police do not work or protect our President is ludicrous.

To ask congress to provide extra funding is fine.

Everyone should do that.

But to suggest that the police stop protecting the President?

That's just ill-mannered and inappropriate.

See it's, it's really tough; to record yourself.

It's odd, strange, it's hard to describe, and quite honestly, I'm not very good at it.

Get all these self-conscious thoughts, constantly looking away from the camera, so I'm trying

something a little different!

I'm recording myself, without actually watching myself while I record.

What I'm doing is I, uh, I have a little post-it here, and I have myself covered up, but it's

really thin paper.

It's not working quite as well as I'd like.

I'm just gonna grab a couple more post-it's.

I'll be just 1 moment.

Hopefully I'm not covering up the camera, I didn't really think of that up until now.

There, alright, so, I can't see myself So we've gone through a lot of changes, but

the reason why I'm recording a video in my kitchen with my iPhone and not the camera

is because I have it hooked up to the computer out in the living room right now, and I'm

going to be pulling some footage off of it, because, HARPER JUST WALKED!

For the first time!

It was insane!

I can't even describe it guys, it was absolutely insane, I can't remember the last time I felt

that excited.

Hi Everybody!

I'm going to show you a super fast, super easy

way to make a store for your dolls

These are drawer organizers from the dollar store

You'll need one that's clear plastic

and one that's woven

Their great for organizing your pens

pencils, markers, brushes

All kinds of stuff

But I have another purpose for them today

Take a woven one and turn it upside down

Cut out a piece of cardboard

8 and a half inches long and 3 inches wide

and put it ontop

Take the clear one and place it upside down

And presto magic! Look at that!

Your instant display case!

And you can decorate the front if you like

Sometimes the sticker leaves a sticky goo

That could easily be removed with Goo Gone

I'll do that later

This one is going to be an ice cream shop

For the ice cream tubs, you'll need containers like this

They come 8 in a pack from the dollar store

You've find them in the craft aisle

They're made for storing beads and small stuff

But I'm going to use them as ice cream tubs!

And the ice cream is Play Doh!

This white Play Doh is going to be vanilla ice cream

You can leave it as plain vanilla

or make it something else

It's so easy to turn this into another flavour

by just adding things to it

I'll turn this into chocolate chip ice cream

by just adding brown beads

Just push it into the Play Doh

How easy was that?!

Let's get the ice cream tubs out!

I made some awesome flavours!
