Youtube daily report Mar 12 2018

Hey There! Welcome to Life Noggin!

It seems like everyone wants to go to Mars nowadays.

The red planet has been all the buzz with organizations like NASA and SpaceX promising

to get us there in the next ten-ish years, but there are so many problems with living

on Mars.

Instead, some experts think we'd be better off heading for the scorching, toxic land

known as Venus!

Yes, really.

People have been talking about going to Mars since the 1950s and we obviously haven't

made it yet.

Many of the problems with this idea revolve around money and technology, but there's

more.

Since Mars has less than half the gravity than we have on Earth, we'd need to figure

out how to combat physical issues like muscle degeneration and vision problems.

And spacecrafts would need to be able to land safely on a planet with hardly any atmosphere

to slow them down.

Powerful solar storms bombard the surface with crazy high levels of radiation.

And it's freezing there, with temperatures dropping to almost negative 125 celsius.

Humans would need some serious protection if they really wanted to live on Mars.

We may need another option.

Venus.

You may be saying, "Blocko, Venus is like 425 degrees and the air is poisonous.

Plus, the atmospheric pressure would crush us!"

And you're correct!

You're so smart, but people have some pretty viable ideas for space colonies in Venus's

neck of the woods.

About 50 km above Venus's surface, there's an airspace with similar gravity, pressure,

and solar radiation protection to what we have here on Earth.

The temperature ranges from about 30-50C, creating a fairly livable atmosphere.

This all sounds pretty promising and NASA thinks so too.

In 2015, NASA announced their High Altitude Venus Operational Concept, aka HAVOC... which

I feel like isn't the most optimistic name for a space mission.

This project would send two astronauts to Venus's upper atmosphere, hovering in spaceships

above the clouds.

This initial trip would last 30 days and could lead to future colonization of Venus's airspace.

Floating cities!

How cool would that be?!

Humans wouldn't even need pressurized suits or radiation shields to go outside!

Sure, they'd still need oxygen and something to protect them against Venus's sulfuric

acid rain, but no more bulky astronauts suits?

Sounds good to me!

And the carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur in Venus's atmosphere could be

used to create breathable air, fertilizers for crops, and even water!

You may be wondering how these floating cities would be powered.

NASA has given some clues as to how this could work (and we've got some ideas too).

Firstly, the vehicles would be equipped with massive solar panels to take advantage of

the sun's energy.

Second, there's the possibility of using the carbon in the atmosphere to generate electricity

via graphene-powered superconductors or synthetic photosynthesis.

People living in these floating cities could also eventually begin to terraform and colonize

the surface of Venus with the right technology, but that'd take a while.

Some have proposed flooding the lower atmosphere with hydrogen to create an ocean that'd

cover 80% of the planet.

Others suggest striking the planet with large objects to speed up it's rotation, hopefully

warming the planet and changing its atmosphere.

These plans would be really difficult but personally, I think living in a floating city

sounds cooler anyway.

So what planet should we explore next?

Let us know in the comment section below!

Living on Mars or Venus seems like a cool idea, but if you're curious about how you

could live on a moon without a spacesuit, check out this video from our friends Seeker.

Saturn has 62 confirmed moons with more being discovered all the time, and 2 of these moons,

Titan and Enceladus could be habitable.

As always, MY NAME IS BLOCKO!

This has been Life Noggin.

Don't forget to keep on thinking!

Hammer v. Dagenhart | quimbee.com - Duration: 3:43.

- [Narrator] In the case of Hammer versus Dagenhart,

the United States Supreme Court stuck a dagger

into the heart of a law that attempted to abolish

child labor.

Faced with increased concerns over the child labor

conditions in mills and factories,

Congress decided to take matters into it's own hands.

In 1916, it passed the Keating-Owen Act,

which prohibited goods made by children under

a certain age from being sold in interstate commerce.

Dagenhart owned a cotton mill and employed

two of his sons there.

He brought a constitutional challenge

against the Keating-Owen Act, alleging that it was an

unconstitutional exercise of

Congress' Commerce Clause authority.

The District Court for the

Western District of North Carolina agreed with Dagenhart.

The court held that Congress acted unconstitutionally

in attempting to regulate child labor

because it was a purely local matter.

On direct appeal to the United States Supreme Court,

the issue was whether Congress may regulate the sale

of goods produced by child labor,

once they're placed into the stream on interstate commerce?

The court held that Congress may not use its commerce

clause authority to regulate child labor

because only the states, not the federal government,

may regulate the conditions of local production.

Justice Day, writing for the five to four court

drew a distinction between production and commerce.

Although Congress has the authority to pass regulations

of goods exchanged in interstate commerce,

the court found that Congress' authority doesn't extend

to regulating how those goods are produced.

In the act, Congress had attempted to use

interstate commerce as a hook to regulate the

intrastate production and manufacture of products,

simply because it believed child labor to be immoral.

Nevertheless, the court reasoned that the regulation

of production is a power reserved solely to the States.

By the time a product entered into interstate commerce,

the labor of production was over.

So, Congress was powerless to regulate

the conditions of production.

The court distinguished prior cases that had upheld

Congress' authority onto the commerce clause

to regulate and prohibit the interstate transportation

of lottery tickets, impure foods and drugs, prostitutes,

and intoxicating liquors.

The court reasoned that Congress had the power to regulate

the interstate transportation of those things

because their shipment across state lines was a

necessary feature of their harmful results.

In other words, it was the interstate sale of those

products and services, not their production

that Congress wanted to stop.

By comparison, child labor itself might be harmful,

the court reasoned.

But the interstate trade of products created with

child labor was not.

So, Congress exceeded it's authority by trying to

indirectly regulate local production with restrictions

on interstate trade.

Thus, the court invalidated the Keating-Owen Act

and affirmed the district court's decision.

Justice Holmes wrote a dissent,

arguing that the act was constitutional.

Holmes agreed that states may regulate their

internal affairs and domestic commerce.

But when products cross state lines,

those products enter Congress' domain.

Because the act confined itself to prohibiting

only the interstate or foreign sale of products made

with child labor, Holmes argued that it was a perfectly

constitutional use of Congress' Commerce Clause authority.

Hammer versus Dagenhart represents an early and notorious

attempt by the Supreme Court to reign in Congress' power

under the Commerce Clause.

The attempt ultimately proved unsuccessful

because the case was later overruled in the 1941 case

of United States versus Darby,

which vindicated Justice Holmes' dissent.

[World of Warships] Developer Diaries: Archimedes Death Ray - Duration: 3:51.

Keeping up with our tradition of the previous years,

we designed a new event for April Fools' Day.

This time, we decided to use the "what if" scenario,

so that we could give our players a chance to battle against

the famous "Archimedes beam".

Plutarch and Titus Livius denoted in their works that, in 212 BC,

the Roman fleet tried to capture the city of Syracuse,

but the fleet was burned down by the citizens using Archimedes' technology.

The technology was based on the usage of parabolic mirrors

and the highly polished shields of the city defenders

that were used to project solar beams onto the enemy ships.

This technology was later named the "Archimedes beam" or "death ray";

many engineers tried to reproduce this technology in later years.

The "Archimedes beam" event is a PvE scenario.

This gameplay mode is pretty similar to things

that our players have already encountered in our game,

to be more specific, avoiding the attacks of defensive structures.

Every engineer has already heard of this "death ray" story at some point,

and the design of this technology presents a significant challenge.

If we assume the base calculations obtained from the archives,

we can conclude that no country had enough resources

to produce such a powerful weapon.

Luckily, we're making a game, and we have sufficient resources.

At first sight, the task of designing the "Archimedes beam"

seemed quite simplistic and easy for us,

but it turned out to be completely the opposite.

This project took approximately a month of work,

that's basically the same time that's required to design a whole warship.

The most difficult aspect was calculating the diameter of the mirrors

that would reflect these powerful beams across long distances—

this task took not a single month but several months and hundreds of man-hours.

We did our best to make precise laser weapon models,

and tried to present them as accurately as possible.

To make the mirrors look like real ones and reflect the environment correctly,

we developed a new rendering system.

We composed a specific algorithm for the beam that cuts through ships,

water, and even islands realistically.

We couldn't go without visual effects—

we developed a new particle system for a laser shot.

Due to that system, the beam looks very interesting.

Of course, we had to invent a new system of consumables

so that players could withstand the new weapon type adequately.

These consumables include beam diffusers, mirrors, etc.

We also implemented mirror camouflages

and, most interestingly, a Silver Smoke Screen.

A team of 12 ships enters a battle against the forts equipped with the "death rays".

The objective is to destroy all the forts.

In this mode, teamwork is extremely important

for performing maneuvers and counterattacking successfully.

The trajectory of the laser attack will be displayed on the minimap

during the beam charging time.

Also, there will be a sound for the laser charging,

so you'll have several seconds to avoid the attack.

We're waiting for you in the new World of Warships event!

But be careful—the "death rays" are called that for a reason!

Democratic Party Considers Getting Rid Of Superdelegates - Duration: 3:34.

The Democratic party is officially considering whether or not they should consider the use

of super delegates in their presidential nomination process for the actual Democratic party.

Now recently the Democratic Unity Reform Committee had proposed reducing the number of super

delegates there are from about 700 down to maybe 300, 350, they want to reduce the number

by about 60% to try to make it seem a little bit more fair in the nominating process.

Well now, one proposal has come forward that we just simply do away with ll of the super

delegates within the Democratic party, and we actually hand this lection back over to

the people of the United States.

And while this a phenomenal idea for the Democratic party, as we would expect, some corporate

Democrats, some establishment Democrats are pissed off about the thought that they might

not get to vote twice for the presidential nominee for the Democratic party.

DNC member Bob Mulholland from the state of California said that "This is absurd, this

would mean that people like Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter, and Barack Obama don't even

get to vote for who's going to be our parties nominee."

Well, that's actually a lie Mr. Mulholland because they do get to vote, they get to vote

in the primary, just like the rest of the people in this country.

So how is it fair for them to be able to go vote in a primary, and then go be a super

delegate and cast a second vote for our nominee?

That seems a little unfair to me, right?

I mean one person, one vote.

Not one super delegate, two votes.

But that's the system that you want, because it's the system that makes you comfortable.

It's the system that prevents an outsider, a true progressive, from ever taking over

the Democratic party.

That's what the super delegates system is all about.

They want to make sure that those party insiders, the former presidents, the elected members

of congress, that they get the final say.

That they have just enough power within the Democratic party to sway who gets the nomination.

That's what this is about, and that's what terrifies people like Mulholland.

They don't want to think about the fact that god forbid the people who are members of the

Democratic party actually get to pick their own nominee.

No, we need to leave that decision to the old white guys who are running the Democratic

party.

That's what they want.

Well guess what?

Time's up for you.

Time's up for the old guard of the Democratic party.

Time's up for the super delegates.

It's time that the Democratic party gets handed back over to the people who call themselves,

and are registered as Democrats in this country.

It's time for them to make the decisions about who gets to be the nominee.

Super delegates should have no face.

The super delegates shouldn't be a thing.

Super delegates never should have been a thing.

If you can't trust the people who are registered members of your party, then you don't deserve

to be running a party at all.

How to Get Rid of Shoe Smell How to Get Rid of Shoe Odor - Duration: 2:02.

Well, the question is, How to Get Rid of Shoe Smell, How to Get Rid of Shoe Odor?

You must be frustrated at some point or other.

The reason for the appearance of, undesirable amber in shoes, do not arise because of increased

sweating, but because of the development of various bacteria, in the moist environment,

as a result, bad smell comes out.

If the smell of mold appeared in the shoes, it could mean that, the product was not properly

stored.

Before doing anything with the shoe, you should take care of your feet, wash it regularly,

change your socks, or treat any fungal disease you may have.

But, how to get rid of shoe smell.

To to get rid of shoe odor caused by mold, you need to use a complex of several methods.

#1.

Replace the insole.

#2.

Pour or spray, vodka, or alcohol, or green tea, inside the shoe, and keep it like that

for few hours.

#3.

If it is washable, then wash and dry it well.

#4.

Pour or Spray, boric acid powder, or talcum baby powder, inside the shoe and keep it for

the night.

#5.

Use deodorant for feet, and drop a few drops of essential oil into the boot.

#6.

Place a bag of tea, under the insole.

If the conducted activities did not give a positive result, then it makes sense to think

about the rules of hygiene, and reconsider their views on the change of socks.

After doing all the methods, and the smell continues to appear, then you can consult

with doctor to try creams, to reduce sweating of the legs.

2Minutes2Virtue - John 3:17 - Duration: 2:06.

Hello, my name is Father JD Jaffe

At many sporting events we see signs

that say John 3:16

It reads, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son

so that everyone who believes in Him

might not perish

but have eternal life."

But the reality is

the line that comes right after that is just as important

if not even more so

John 3:17

"For God did not send His Son

into the world to condemn the world,

but that the world might be saved through Him."

Both of these passages are in our Gospel passage this Sunday

We're reminded by the Church

during this Fourth Sunday of Lent

that we each need to encounter the mercy

of Our Lord

We're reminded of His true mission

Christ's mission in the world is not

to condemn the world

not to condemn us of our sins

but to free us from them

As a result

as we enter into this week

let us take a moment to realize

our sinfulness

Let us take an opportunity to do a good examination of conscience

to think about those things that we've done wrong

but not in the sense of trying to

feel guilt and shame

but to be able to hand these over to Our Lord

to experience His mercy

The Sacrament of Confession is a wonderful way for us

to encounter this amazing love and mercy that Our Lord has for us

We're reminded in our Scripture today this week as well

that He is rich in mercy

His love is abounding

And His mercy is here for us through the Sacrament of Confession

It can be intimidating to take this opportunity to list the things that

we've done wrong

and maybe even we forgot how to go to confession

But I encourage you to take the opportunity to go before a priest

to seek a confession time

and to ask for help

and to remind him that you are here

not for condemnation but to encounter Christ's saving mercy

something new and it's just like what if I show you guys a nice

eyeshadow palette and I'm like oh this is nice and then I go on to the next one

oh this is nice oh my god the next one this is nice like there's nothing

different on the market right everything's kind of the same what do

you even get at this point I don't know so I hate showing like all this new

stuff because by the time you get the new stuff it's not new anymore it's old

I don't know I just get so overwhelmed with it but I just pulled like a grip of

stuff out of the box I have and I was like I'm gonna use it so it's like I

haven't used it yet new makeup whatever you know what I'm doing right what I'm

saying is I don't do unboxings because I just feel bad because by the time I edit

and upload that unboxing there's gonna be something new and all that shit's

gonna be old I think that's why that tati chick was like fuck that I making

vitamins because let's be real here if she came out with an eyeshadow palette

we'd all be underwhelmed because it would be nothing new and be something we've

already seen everything looks like something else we already have I'm gonna

make vitamins no one has vitamins if I came out with

the collab I would be like I made some golf clubs I don't even play golf but I

made some golf clubs. I was gonna do foundation first but I'm

thinking because I have colorful eyeshadow palettes I should do eyes

first there's this one this is called

prismagic highlighting trio by Kevyn aucoin actually think this is a

highlighter huh oh my god you guys remember the video where I was like I

can't swatch I don't know where to swatch oh my god my life is so rough? I

bought something to solve that problem and I just now remembered please I hold

you don't even need a boyfriend you just get this hand I'm sure It could do a lot

for you honey please help me anyway so I got this

hand it's called I tattoo and it's a latex hand it's what tattoo artists

practice on before ruining people's skin they practice on a fake hand and it's

heavy this is like a legit hand anyways I'm gonna swatch on this hand that's my

life at this point just a mess Oh bitch my swatch game just went up do

you see this now I wish they had different skin tones cuz that would be

the best don't steal my idea thank you my life is weird anyway so

that's the prismagic palette maybe we can throw that on my cheeks and whatnot

don't even get me started on this palette okay look Gallany mosaic

palette .right you could do better I don't know they must have had a lot of a

lot of inventory left from this Billy B palette but come on you guys you can't

just like at this point in the makeup industry game you can't just hot glue a

new label on top and be like they'll never know and then I got this bad boy I

don't know if I've ever even showed too face on my channel because it's been

years since I've used too face I kind of don't know where they're going with

their their stuff it seems very like you want to buy their stuff because the

packaging is cute and not necessarily because like the quality is amazing and

that's not being mean or shady it's just I don't know I don't really know who

their market is it just like kids teenagers and I don't know anyways this

palette it's really cute I would leave it out so just because it's cute

makes me happy and then the eyeshadow palette it's so

my wig is slipping off should I swatch it all what should I

name this hand he or she needs a name let me know in the comments down below

so this is the life is a festival palette peace love and unicorns a small

ass little mirror , wasn't in the budget

I primed my eyes with the marc jacobs undercover perfecting coconut primer

I've heard this is awful so I'm very excited to try it out let's

see my lid Fun in the Sun I'm feeling fun in the Sun let's do it

should i do fireflies there's just so many options fireflies okay

here I go boom so a lot of you guys have been

asking me where I've been because I've been mia for like a week it's only been

like a week since the last time we talked remember it was like my drugstore

video I was like oh my god guys I'm going to Europe and I'm doing all this

things in my life yeah well I'm I ended up getting really sick with the

flu and I didn't really I didn't go anywhere I didn't do anything all my

plans cancelled . isn't life fun it's so unpredictable at times .

I was really really really sick I'm still super congested right here and I'm

blowing the most intense green boogers I've ever seen that's cute color

there is no like goal with this look I'm just trying things out so we could try it . there's so many options

rainbow life let's do this like over here little watermelon look . so yeah

that's what I've been up to it's like nothing exciting I I was so sick and

even now I'm so congested and like my nose is all red and flaky it looks like

I have boogers but I don't they're just like dry flaky nose things boom

boom boom okay that one doesn't really show that well but you know I put it

over a green so can we judge I don't know

looks like garbage I mean this was cute fireflies

look she cute . so I'm very curious to know how this NARS palette looks so

let's just try it on the other eye so I'm gonna do like this one it's really

pretty okay my I like my eyelid is very smooth

though I will say from that Marc Jacobs concealer I mean the primer my eyelid

has like no texture so like you know when you guys get

brand-new makeup and you go home II just layer it all over your face and there's

no rhyme or reason you just want to see what that looks like and you're like oh

my god I'm so excited I really hope you know I'm not the only one that does that

right I'm not I can't be anyways that's what I'm doing right now so really like

just don't judge me that looks awful because I'm not sure oh

that one's pretty hmm okay let me see this one this is the prismatic Kevin

palette like let me just throw it on here maybe it's meant to be with your

fingers

mmm this is the golden glow instant highlight from Marc Jacobs so I never

really put like I never really put liquid highlight on before my foundation

but I'm curious cuz I was watching it well I was on Instagram I was

scrolling l through a little insta video she like put it

on all over her face at first and I was like I'm gonna be like her okay that's

pretty I like this oh I look like the tinman I like where's the cap it's gone it's gone

forever now we're never gonna see that again so let's

try the foundation I got this foundation like hmm a week or two ago and it

started to separate on my forehead

it was really pretty at first but it would just separate I guess

and I wasn't too thrilled on it and I tried it two different times so I'm

gonna try to third time and maybe third time's a charm so this is the shade r300

and I'm just placing it all over with the brush of buffing into this yeah it's

like a light to medium coverage it's very natural-looking on the skin that's

pretty I think it's probably pretty for people who already have pretty skin you

know it's one of those things well I forgot to tell you I got

micro-needling done I mean remember when I was talking about it I did it and I

filmed the process but I haven't finished I filmed like day 2 day 3 and then I got

sick so there was no day 4 and I just forgot to film the rest so let me finish

that and then I get up I don't know if it was worth it or not

see how it's not covering anything hyperpigmentation my pimples think it's

strange ok so I have been filming I look a mess

I've been filming Instagram videos I mean I only filmed two - ok Bailey

get off your high horse but they're fun because I didn't have to talk so I could

do it while I was sick kinda the makeup didn't sit so well I'm rambling but I

tried this the models own a full coverage concealer and I have the

shade medium - so this is where my tattoos come in handy cuz you could see

how full it is it's a cream look at that coverage right I was impressed it

reminds me like the consistency reminds me of what's that one called amazing cosmetics it reminds me of amazing cosmetics the

concealer girl I remember that was like one of the first concealers I

bought I was so excited I saved all my money I felt so guilty for spending

almost $30.00 on this tiny little bottle and it's so thick and juicy and a tiny

bit goes a long way you know I don't know if you've ever used it but girl its good

I forgot for my eyes are these okay hold up wet-and-wild sent

me their spring gothic graphic collection and these eyeliners were in

there these are the liquid eyeliners metallic so let's do pink coffin on this

eye ok the brush is very frayed really helps get that clean line wet and wild I

saw like a bunch of people posting videos showing their collection and I

don't mean to out anybody cuz I don't know their life but like wet n wild

reached out to me and asked if I if I wanted to do like a sponsored video for

this collection I wrote back and they ghosted me I get ghosted by lots of

brands then I started to see all these videos pop up people showcasing the the

wet and wild collection and I was like if they reached out to me asking to do a

sponsored video then they probably did to you and you're not saying that it

like no one disclosed I saw one person it was in partnership with wet-and-wild

but then again maybe it wasn't sponsored and I'm just like a hater. im not a hater

I just don't get it do I look crazy this isn't new but it's been sitting in my

drawer forever and I remember using it like once and then I never use it again

and I don't know why so I'm gonna find out why did I not like it this is a by

Terry it's a hyaluronic hydra powder just go like this see but it's supposed

to be a hydrating powder and my ass is so dry you think I would like it I'm

still like not feeling a hundred percent so if I seem like I'm in a bad mood I

apologize I'm not in a bad mood I just feel like shit man my new cut crease

then I also have this Mac powder and it's called porcelain it's their set

powder so same thing it's better my Drive maybe used it once or twice I

don't know why I stopped using it's not my use on this side and see like why I

stopped using it cuz I want to know the bike Terri side looks really smooth I'm

so sweaty it's just like can we do a gothic look I want to do that we should

do it I get called off like at least once a week I think that gives me

credibility so I don't really have anything new for eyebrows but I have

this in my drawer I haven't used in a while I don't know why I stopped using

its makeup forever brow gel it's a tinted brow gel number 35 I like their

clear brow gel a lot see what happens here okay so I really want to know you

guys like what kind of videos you want to see for me I know I do a lot of

tutorials and nobody really does tutorial so I'm wondering do I need to

stop doing tutorials or do we still keep doing tutorials I'm just feeling so lost

but I kind of like these videos where it's just like what the fuck

wish I can aim this what the fuck Wednesday no cuz that's what that talked

to you girls doing yo with her vitamins see sometimes you just have to play big

literally because I like I hate the pressure of having to do something

perfect every time for the internet and you can't ever like venture and just

kind of mess up on purpose I think that's why everyone it like stay so safe

in their tutorials because they know it's safe and then they don't have to

mess up and waste their time and waste the whole filming day makes sense I just

solved all of the youtubes because no one wants to venture out and try

something new and mess up and then they wasted their filming time and now they

don't have a video to put up the people don't realize how long these

videos take the film girl I look like my only complaint with brow gels is like

they really don't hold brows up they say they do but they really don't where else

do we have went wild it's called the loose highlighting powder and it's in

moon tiers got a little skull on the inside that's pretty cute dust off this

loose powder hey that by Terry one actually made my

skin look really smooth I'm gonna get my brush damn cuz it intense the highlight

and like that's look I'm going for right now I don't know why I decided to use

this brush like it's not really gonna do much for me it's cute oh yeah way better

when it's wet when it's dry it's just looking gray so tell me down below you

guys like what is a new like must-have product for you guys because there's a

lot out there right now I just want to know from you guys is there anything out

there right now that's really truly like it's not gimmicky its innovative it's

different and I need to try it let me know down below to lock this in all day

I'm gonna try the covergirl look lock up all day setting mist alcohol is the

second ingredient so if you are sensitive to alcohol in your spray do

not get this because I really truly want to lock this in well that's a weird like

mist it's not coming out even stinks the alcohol it like dries out the surface of

the skin so like the oils and whatnot which will essentially break up your

makeup so that's why they put the alcohol in there it's also just like a

cheaper way to do it so a lot of drugstore products or brands put it in

there I hope this stays all day I'll have to

see oh my god you guys okay so I haven't been on the worst sleep schedule but

fall asleep at like 3 4 a.m. but I just have to tell you guys at 3 or 4 a.m.

prime as seen on TV infomercial situations happening there have been so

many great infomercials just like like was I haven't seen before

ok there was this last night there was this eyeliner I think it was just called

but I have like I'm gonna buy it because I want to know if it works but they

claim that it's for three days and on the infomercial

day we're like rubbing their eyes and was making me so comfortable but they

were like it doesn't goo move I forgot I wanted to try this this is

the liquid blush by NARS it's called Hot Tin Roof it seems super fitting with

this look but it sounds very oh it's a pump okay oh it's very liquidy look how

liquidy this is oh wow I need a brush hurry hurry

I think I got too much you're really ruining the look Alex I have a fever

I like the idea of the liquid blush especially in a pump like this because

if the bacteria can't get in there you use it on multiple clients like when you

freelance and not have to worry about like cross contaminating cuz I'm a

serious makeup artist obviously it's a pretty lip color love oh my god benefit

bad gal bang I actually use this the other day has a bunch of like little

tiny combs on it this is the kind of brush I personally I like the little

combs I feel like they really lengthen it and separate I think it's a nice

mascara the only problem that I'm having and I haven't heard anybody else say

this so I don't know if it's a personal problem but it transfers on me like

crazy but I'm also thinking it's because I have big cheeks and like my smile all

my mascara transfers and I just had an epiphany the other day that my cheeks

are big and that's why Bailey so these aren't like the most excited about

they've been I've been holding off on them because I want I know I wanted to

like use them in a video and now it's my opportunity these are

that ardell lashes but they're themed magnetic lashes I haven't tried or used

magnetic lashes before so I'm excited to see how these work now I guess like okay

so this is a magnet and this is a magnet and he put this on top and then this

underneath and then they stick together and then you get a lash no glue needed

all right let's try it so it says to do the top first oh I see the little

magnets on there that's interesting and it says you can also reuse them which is

cool you just put when I took it out I just ripped it

okay we keep going top oh okay how strong are these magnets okay hold up

how do I stay down under under oh this hurts it's in my eye okay

these are difficult like okay so once they stick the magnet sticks I can't

really seem to move it around so it's like half on my half on my lashes happen

not good I mean I feel like this takes practice right and putting on false

eyelashes in general takes practice so this is kind of cool though

well it's stay on like those drunken nights when your lashes like that's the

only thing that's on at that point and then you wake up and your lashes are

still on you're like damn it's pretty good they feel weird I forgot about this

I wanted to use this too this is the bomb liquid highlighter it's Marylou so

it's a liquid highlighter that you can use all over your face on your lids

cheeks on your cat let me see I did put powder on so I can't judge fully hey

we've seen some people and they highlight they look like Rudolph cuz

they just like intensify it so much I'm not being a bitch

I'm just saying they're like sometimes we get out of control we get a little

excited okay that just broke up all my makeup

but I had powder on so I I can't judge okay last I got these these are from

Maybelline they're the metallic lip kits blue this one is hot Python oh oh it's

called Python that one's called wild okay this one's called passionate she

passion untamed whoo why'd you make off the tutorial I'm gonna do this one so

comes in this little container and ooh okay so it's just essentially like a lip

a cream lipstick and then eyeshadow I wish that there was a mirror right I'm

always wishing for a mirror okay I'm picking up the lipstick yes

very dry I thought it was gonna be like a stencil or something a sticker

let me see oh this is a cream it's like a pressed cream pigment almost I'm gonna

be honest with you guys if you want to do some kind of crazy

the part like this you could just use a foiled eyeshadow and put it over your

lipstick like you know you don't really you don't need this probably have

something similar you could use don't you like this you guys I'm just trying a

bunch of crap on my face so you don't have to overall I like the cream blush a

lot I like this green eyeshadow I like these this lid this lid shadow the Mac

powder mmm it just made me look really really dry and powdery so that's

probably why I didn't use it the by Terry powder looks like flawless on this

side the Marc Jacobs foundation it's not my favorite I think it's definitely for

somebody like doesn't necessarily need a lot of coverage they just want to like

even out redness and they want to look very natural I mean I like to cover all

my you know saying where's that concealer I don't know where I put it

that concealer it's really good it's great actually I really like it this lip

situation girl I have faith 100% that you already have something at home that

you could use probably wondering Bailey what the hell but again I just wanted to

try the makeup on my face there was no goal here oh this Marc Jacobs glow thing

I really like this I'm sure if you mix it in with the foundation and then let

me know down below what I should name my swatch hand because my swatch game is

about to be MIDI as

I'm a mess thank you so much for watching don't

forget to Like and subscribe and let me know if you want me to do more videos

like this I don't know where I'll just sit and like put crap on my face and

what I should name this series hope you have a good day today you make good

choices don't buy shit you don't need you can

expect my collab with golf clubs to be dropping or real soon

alright I'll see you guys later bye

I'm worth being happy - Duration: 3:59.

-My name is Tony.

I was in the Army from 1979 to 1990.

I loved being in the Army.

But I had a bad experience,

probably about...

two months into the Army.

I was...

had some military sexual trauma.

I didn't even think about telling nobody,

it wasn't even a -- it wasn't even a thought at the time

or it wasn't even an option at the time.

I was just trying to figure out how to deal with these feelings

that I didn't understand that I was having.

I started having a lot of nightmares and stuff like that.

And I started drinking a lot,

and the drinking would help me with that.

So of course, after you start drinking a lot,

and drinking a lot, you start hanging around

with different kind of people that,

it's kind of like that's their lifestyle.

Leaving Fort McClellan, and going to Germany,

the drugs over there was like more

than I ever experienced in the States, you know.

Heroin and hash, stuff like that I had never even...

You know, cocaine I had never even really knew much about it,

acid and stuff like that.

And I had just got really into a lot of stuff.

You know, I couldn't stop.

I was just using. I didn't want to use.

Money started becoming a problem.

I kept using, kept using.

And finally, after three years I was able to leave Germany,

and I had to go back to San Antonio

where the military sexual trauma happened at.

I ended up having to go back there for training.

I started not to understand why I was taking these,

you know, using drugs

and I couldn't understand after a while,

why I couldn't stop using them.

I was in the service for 10 years and I was a sergeant.

One day, they just came to me and told me

they should put me in jail, they should lock me up.

But they said, "We're not going to do that

because you're a good guy, you're a good soldier, man.

And we don't know what happened to you."

And what that did is allow me to get out,

but with an honorable discharge.

My wife, she had divorced me.

And I got out and I went to my home to Michigan.

In 1992,

I was able to stop for a minute

and I got a job as a fireman.

I was doing very well.

And I started back smoking crack.

And I ended up losing my job.

What happened was I was going to these self-help meetings,

and I would hear people talking about different things.

I would hear people talking about helping each other

and, you know, all these things that I wasn't doing

and wasn't even thinking about.

And what happened is I realized that I needed help.

And what started helping me more than anything is

when I was able to open up in the groups,

because what happened, every time I shared about it,

at the end of that meeting at least one man

would come up to me and ask me for my phone number.

And then later, we would talk about it.

I realized that what the problem with me all along was,

was what was going on inside of me --

how I felt about stuff -- and I had to figure out a way

to do something with this stuff.

That's what I was trying to figure out all the time.

And I found out that I had to talk about it.

Today, you know, I got a little apartment

and a car and a decent job, and you know,

and it's all because I decided to let people help me.

And so what I do is I just continue to let people help me.

You know what I mean?

And use everything that I've been through

to help other people.

That was the big, big thing for me.

Something that's really, really important for me

is to be open about this and talk about this

because there are so many men that,

you know, just won't talk about it.

Want to, but don't know how.

And I knew how that felt.

Try to talk to somebody and be honest

about how you are feeling,

because it's like this is my life,

and I'm worth being happy,

I'm worth having peace, I'm worth having joy.

How Serious Should We Be? - Duration: 5:21.

Hey! This is the Daily Overpass! My name is Eric and I make apps! Now today, I want

to ask how serious should we be about this kind of stuff.

Okay, so today, I'm coming to you from the Departures Lounge at the Heathrow Airport..

Don't say I never bring you anywhere nice. So, I'm ready to get on a

12-hour flight to Singapore and then I'm gonna change, stay there a couple hours,

get on the three-hour flight to Hanoi. That's like 15 hours from now. I won't

get there till tomorrow, so I thought we might as well talk a little bit here

today. And you know, I don't think I've ever done it from the airport before. So,

something new. Today, I want to respond to a comment that came in

just a few days ago from Bhargav Mehta. Now, this is not a mean comment, so please

don't say anything mean. I took it to be not a mean comment and

it's not what I'm talking about. It said, "Subscribed but it's annoying when

you laugh while speaking. Your channel is serious bro. Is it you're insane,

your channel is a serious Channel bro. Very good videos but you should remember

that your most audience is in high tension as they are preparing a plunge

and it's in its final stage of launch. Smile is however good, but please avoid

laughs especially while speaking as we can't hear you properly while you laugh.

And it distracts. If you must laugh, pause and then continue. Good luck!" You know, I

don't think I can help it. Hahaha I did. I just think it would be

inauthentic. And I'm sorry if sometimes it seems like - by the way I did not take

this to be a mean comment. The good luck at the end and everything that I really

appreciate, Bhargav. I really appreciate the comment. There's lots of

things with speaking in public or speaking in general that I really need

to work on and I'm Itrying. So, any kind of constructive feedback is good.

However, there's one thing - if it doesn't seem like I take the like apps and

everything seriously, I do. Obviously, it's my

life. It's my income. You know, if something goes wrong in the App Store,

oh yeah, I'm all serious. Everything stops. I'll cancel the dinner

appointment, I'll cancel going out to the movies with my kids, I'll

cancel the holidays that I gotta sort this out. For some reason, AdMob

was rejected something or something got suspended somewhere, that's

something that's all very, very seriously. But I don't think it's healthy to take

everything so seriously. Especially with the app launch. I don't want you to

think that because this is a big thing that indie developers have.

That's different than like a corporation. If you go to a corporation and they're

investing a lot of money into something, you go into meeting, after meeting, after

meeting and everybody talks about, "Oh, are we sure this is gonna work? What's our

fallback?" You know, is that everything - everything's very, very serious and

nobody's playful with software. And the beauty of apps is that

you could be playful with it. You can launch new things, you get things out

there. And the reality of the fact is when you release your first app you're

probably gonna be disappointed by that initial flow of downloads.

But that's good because that's you could start getting the

feedback at least and you start to perfect the model a little bit. Then

before you start funneling money into advertisements and everything like that,

to get people and to use it properly, you can start testing and tweaking

little things. Some things people are gonna say. There's certain things that

you're gonna learn about your user base once they start using your application

And I think the process should be fun. it's

easy to say it after the fact - it's easy to say it when you don't have

a release coming up. It's so easy to say that kind of stuff.

I'm very serious when it comes to clients and with client work and stuff

like that, but it gets really draining after a while. I've had too many, too much

tension in my life from this kind of stuff. So, I apologize if I laugh

while I talk. I'll try to stop and then be more serious, but you know, I take what

you say. I'll try - I will try not to laugh so much when I talk. But

sometimes - sometimes this stuff is funny. Sometimes it's the idea that

we all go through the same problems that we all have the same kind of stuff happen (laughs)

Sorry, I laughed and talked - in fact all this stuff happens at the

same time to me is hysterical. Sometimes, I can't help but laugh about

it. Because even when I'm having my worst day, I'm glad I could come here and

talk about a little bit. Sometimes, just talking about it makes it a little

less stressful. You know, when you have -and you have stress

about things that to normal people, would be ridiculou.

People aren't clicking on the blue button. I'm wondering if blue is a good

shade or it should be pink or I'm wondering if my in-app purchases are

working and all that kind of stuff. So anyway, I took what you say Bhargav. I

hope that doesn't bother you too much. And I'll try to be a little bit more

serious. I will try to be a little bit more serious in the future, but not too

serious. Anyway, that's it for today. I'll talk to you, guys, tomorrow!

Top 5 Websites for FREE 3D Models - Duration: 7:54.

What's happening ladies and gentlemen,

this is Minh from Architecture Inspirations.

Today I'm going to show you the

top 5 websites to get 3d models for Free.

Let's get started.

Let's count down from number 5.

CADdetails

CADdetails.com is a website

that provides manufacturer-specific 3D models.

To get to the library of 3D Models,

first click on BIM Models,

here you can filter the models by 3 different categories.

Filter by Company,

Filter by MasterFormat,

or Filter by Product.

You can also just type in what you want

in this search box here.

By default, it will search for companies,

so just go up here and change it to products,

then go down and check the 3D models box.

When you see a model you like, just click View Product.

Then it will open up the product page

with all of the information.

Here it will tell you that you need to sign up

to download the models.

Once you've signed in,

scroll down and you can download the 3D model here.

Although it has lot of models and very well organized,

it's quite hard to find complex

and high quality models on this website,

that's the reason why it's number 5.

Let's get to number 4

pConbox Solutions

This is a website that provides brand-specific 3D models

that are mostly office furniture.

Start by clicking the first button on the sidebar

to a brand or company,

then it will let you choose

the different products that company offers.

Once you've selected a product,

it will show up in the modeling space.

If you left click and drag the object

then you can move it.

Hold and drag the middle mouse button will let you orbit,

hold and drag the right mouse button to pan.

The next button on the sidebar

let you configure that 3D model.

For example, with this model,

I can change the material class,

the cover material,

the shell material,

or even the wheels of the chair.

The next button on the sidebar

will give you detail information about the product.

The next one will let you send the model via email,

and more importantly the last one

lets you download the model.

Here, I'm interested in the 3DS and DWG files.

I will first download the 3DS file.

Since it's a zip file, I can just extract the file

and open up Sketchup

Go to file, import,

then make sure the right file type is selected

in the drop-down box

and select your file.

As you can see,

sometimes the 3DS file will come with textures

which is super cool.

However, sometimes importing 3DS files

can create errors in the geometries like this,

which you can try to fix manually

or you can download the DWG file and use that instead.

As you can see,

the DWG file doesn't have those errors in the geometries

but of course, it doesn't come with textures.

That's a minor flaw with using this website for sketchup,

that's why it's ranked 4th.

However, another cool thing about this website

is that you can set up multiple 3D models

in your browser before exporting to Sketchup.

CGTrader is a 3D model marketplace

where anyone can share and sell their models.

Even though most of these models cost money,

there are a good amount of high quality models

that are free as well.

To find models for Sketchup,

First search what you want in this box here,

then in Price filter, check the Free box.

And for formats, we are going to type in Sketchup.

And there you go,

even though it still shows premium models,

you can now see more models that are free.

Click on a model you like to see more details.

Here it will tell you the available formats and versions.

You can click here to start the download,

t will take a while to get it ready,

and the download link will pop up.

If you are already signed in,

the download will start immediately,

otherwise, sign in or sign up if you're not a member.

And that's pretty much it.

Just open up the file and enjoy!

Bimobject.com is a similar site to CADdetails

but it's even larger.

It is also every well organized.

You can start searching

by choosing one of these categories here

and then narrow it down

using the filter options on the left side.

Or you can simply enter a product

in the search box here.

If you are looking for Sketchup models,

click on file types, and choose Sketchup.

There we go,

now it will only list the models

that has Sketchup format available.

When you find one that you like,

you can click on the product

and download it using this button here.

After you select the file type you want to download,

you need an account to download the files.

So sign in or sign up

then download and start using the model!

A cool thing about this website

is that it has an extension or plugin for Sketchup.

On the website, go to apps,

Bimobject Apps,

and go down to Sketchup

and click here to download.

It will take you to the extension warehouse

where you can download the extension.

After you've installed it,

you will get this toolbar,

which you can also find by going to View

Toolbars

Bimobject

Now you can click this button here

to start browsing for models.

But this window will pop up,

what you need to do now

is go to your account on the bimobject website,

and copy the user identification key,

then go back to Sketchup

and paste it in this box and sign in.

There we go,

now you can start using the website

and download models directly inside of Sketchup.

Finally, number 1

3Dwarehouse

Yes, yes, 3Dwarehouse is

STILL my number one place to go for Sketchup models.

I know a lot of you have problems

with finding good quality models on 3dwarehouse,

but trust me, they do exist.

For example, let's search for books.

At first

you will see that there are no decent 3d models of books

that you can use for decorations,

but if you go up here and click on collections.

It will show you collections

that have books models in them.

Already, you can see that there are two collections

with decent models of books.

When you click on one,

it will show you all the models in that collection.

From there,

just keep exploring these collections and their models,

and if you go down here

you can find other collections

that contain that same model.

And those collections even have better models.

When you take your time and explore 3dwarehouse,

you can discover some amazing models.

If you want to make sure that the models

are the same as the photo

then just use the 3D preview button

and look at the model before you download it.

Another cool thing is that if you click here

on the Materials,

you can actually download individual materials

that were used in that model.

And lastly, when you find a model you like,

make sure to add it to your own collection like I did here.

That way,

you will know where to look next time

when you need a specific model.

If you want access to my collection

then just google it,

and click on collections or follow this link here

And there you go guys,

those are the top 5 websites to get 3D models for Free.

Do you agree with my list?

Is there another website you know that's better?

Let me know in the comment section below.

Like the video if you find it useful,

stay inspired guys,

and I will see you,

next time.

TOP 10 WHY MASCHERINE IN GIAPPONE - Duration: 2:02.

Japanese people love masks, also little kids in the kindergarden wear them

but why? Seba did some research for us

and after some interviews with friends

these are the reasons that came trough

Why do japanese people wear masks?

because they're sick, so that they don't spread the virus

for example at work or in the train, if you also have a normal cold or a light cough

it's quite rude not to wear a mask

and it's a prevention to get sick, especially if it's winter

and it's also very useful if you have an allergy, especially in spring

some girls wear them to be cuter,

because there exist some masks that show a smaller face

imagine there is an idol that became famous because of the masks that she wear

and sometime with the right make-up she looked like other famous idols

her name is Kaori Ozawa

other people wear them because they're shy and some people don't want to talk, so they pretend to have a sore throat

when the girls didn't had the time to do the make-up

or the guys didn't shave

some masks are scented

so if you're on a train full of people

you can close your eyes and smell the profume

it's like an aroma therapy

"I really need them in the summer here when the trains don't have air conditioning!"

or they use them to not get a tan

ideal thing is to combine them with big sunglasses!

and they also protect the skin, because some masks have moisturizing effects

they are recommended especially in winter

when the weather is really dry, or on the plane they can be very fashionable,

like the black ones that some k-pop idol use

which of these informations impressed you more? write that in the comments.

Start Where You Are - Ep. 29 - Duration: 3:33.

In the last episode, we saw how Paul Butler was able to grow the people of St. Lucia into

parrot stewards.

If you're trying to bring agility to a software team, how might you grow your team into people

who identify with an agile mindset, extreme programming mindset, or DevOps mindset?

I think it is good to start with how the team members see themselves today.

What do they take pride in?

What do they value?

How much do these values align with what is most valued in the agile manifesto, in extreme

programming, or in DevOps?

If your team values delivering features fast, concepts like spending more time writing tests,

limiting work in progress, and introducing slack might be difficult to introduce because

these may appear at first to slow things down when in fact they speed things up.

If instead your team values delivering the right thing more than delivering as much as

possible as fast as possible, they may well be on their way to an agile mindset.

If your team members value individual achievement over group achievement, it may be a challenge

to introduce things like shared code ownership, pair programming, or mob programming.

This can be particularly difficult when developers and testers are evaluated in ways that discourage

collaboration such as by counting bugs closed and bugs opened, respectively.

In such cases, it would be valuable to take a look at the company's incentive structure

and have some conversations with upper management.

If your team members treat long hours and other forms of heroics as badges of honor,

it may be difficult to introduce things like sustainable pace and limited WIP.

The company's incentives are likely to blame for this.

Don't expect that reducing rewards for heroics will solve the problem overnight.

There may still be a cultural component in which peers continue to be impressed by each

other's heroics.

If your team sees management as making all the decisions and sees themselves as simply

acting on management's decisions, it may be more difficult to introduce things like self-organization

and self-management.

If your team sees themselves as consisting entirely of one type of specialist, say programmers,

then it may be more difficult to introduce things like the concept of a cross-functional

team.

If your team does not see themselves as the kind of people that regularly perform self-examination

and regularly track performance against improvement goals, it may be more difficult to introduce

things like increased transparency and retrospectives.

Now that we've discussed some of the examples of the identities your team members may be starting

from, in future episodes, we will examine some techniques for forging new identities:

identities that embrace agile/XP/DevOps values and principles.

Torn Meniscus Repair Patient Testimonial | Dr Ron Noy - Duration: 3:03.

My name is Aminata D., and I'm originally from Senegal.

I start having pain probably a year and a half or two years ago on my knee.

I did some physical therapy then, and it did go okay for maybe one year, and I got the

same symptom again.

So, and I went for another appointment with the orthopedics, and they told me that I have

meniscus tear and minor arthritis on my kneecap.

And, I did some injection, but the sore came back after two weeks.

So, and the doctor was telling me to have a knee replacement, but I'm too young for

a knee replacement.

Maybe in the future, I will have a knee replacement.

So, I ask around, and they told me about Dr. Noy.

He was only one who explained to me what was my symptom that I really understood, you know.

And he told me that I didn't need a knee replacement, which I wanted to hear.

So, he explained to me what he was gonna do, and also I saw a great, great, great reiew

from him.

I had a knee arthroscopy.

I mean, I was very nervous about the surgery because this is my knee and I don't wanna

be walking on crutches or being on the wheelchair.

That was my...

Or getting old and being on the wheelchair.

That's my nightmare.

You know, the personal assistant was very nice.

She told me not to be nervous, "It's not gonna be a big cut, just a small two-inch incision,"

which is true.

You hardly see it on my knee.

Because I was scared to have a scar on my knee, but they made me feel very confident

to go through it.

The first few days was a little bit not, like, overbearing that I, you know, but little pain

here and there, but they give you some painkillers.

After one week...even before less than one week, I was walking by myself, not with the

cane.

So, and now it's been two weeks I'm walking almost perfectly.

I would say that, you know, that I am very happy with the result and also how I interact

with Dr. Noy and the personnel.

They were very helpful and also caring even after the surgery, calling to see how I was

doing and all of those things, which is really good.

Definitely, I would recommend Dr. Noy to anyone who has a knee problem or orthopedics problem,

because he is the best.

Seriously.
