I was going to speak English for this video
but I decided to speak Spanish instead because I thought it would be a lot more natural
besides, I don't even know if I will share this video or not
so, if someone else is watching this, is because I decided to do it
but originally this video is for myself, to have it as an evidence
it's a video about a project I've been working on since August last year, 2017
I've been a BTS fan since debut
as well as Taehyung's fan
and it's been something I've wanted to do for like three years
but I never got around to it before, I just kept postponing it because I wasn't confident in my work
I was too insecure, to be honest I still am, but nowadays I feel better about it
so every time I started doing it, it was like "yeahhh I'll do it later"
and for some reason I decided to finally start last year
I think it was because he started to show a lot of interest in art
and I saw that we had a lot of favorite artists in common
and we also have similar music taste as well
movies too! So that was the thing that made me feel more confident
and I am glad I did it, because BigHit decided not to accept gifts anymore (until March)
so there was a reason I started doing it last year and not before or after
I'm glad I did it, now I do see it that way
Sooo I don't think I have mentioned what it is until now
It's a sketchbook
It's a sketchbook with my stuff
I also added music and movie recommendations
poems I wrote...well, not poems because I don't really write poems lol
just....phrases I write
The reason I wanted to record this video is because it's so hard for me to let my sketchbooks go
I have sketchbooks from middle school (I am @ uni now)
So I wanted to have all the evidence that this sketchbook existed before letting it go
it's so hard for me to see it go, I always put all of me in what I do
so seeing it....go....is complicated
but that was the plan since the beginning so I don't have to feel bad
I think I will finally start with the tour
This is a Mossery sketchbook, they kindly gave it to me back in August
they were so kind to send me one to review it
it's a mixed media sketchbook
the cover says "my fifth season" because it is one of my favorite lines from a BTS song, "Dead Leaves"
"you are my fifth season"
the sketchbook starts with one of my """""poems""""
the beginning of the sketchbook has four lines and I thought it would be nice to write it
this is empty, I didn't know what to put in there
this is the same phrase, "you are my fifth season", but it Korean
obviously I'm not going to read it out loud because my Korean sucks lol
and this is basic info, just in case it got lost, but that never happens to me because I keep my sketchbooks very close
oh, this is a letter and someone translated to Korean for me, but it doesn't matter
these are flowers, and I think you can't really see it, but it's a phrase from a song I really like

the ones with the filled heart are my favorite movies
I have a lot because I suck at picking favorites lol
I can't just choose one or two so there's a lot as you can see
this is the second page of movies, since I didn't have much time to watch all of the movies
I was planning on watching (I already watched most of these movies beforehand and added a few on the way)
I also added a page with movies I haven't watched but I think I will like when I do
this is not a very long list because I decided not to write them all, but I do have a looong watchlist
This is a page that says "three things i want to improve, change or achieve"
I didn't want to be very specific on this one, because this sketchbook is not really mine,
but the three things I wrote were "be more positive", "stress less" and "watch more movies"

the first page is a picture I took of a street near my house
I always walk near this street and I love it, I love the city I live in, I think it is very picturesque, idk
I already uploaded this one, it was the first page I posted from the sketchbook

I didn't even paint it, this was supposed to be in watercolors

these are from when I found out he was watching BNHA and I got soooo excited
because you know I draw BNHA fanart since October kinda
this is where I tell him I found out he was watching it, I asked him who his favorite character was, of course I know I won't get a reply but, you know
I told him I love BNHA and that I hope he likes the way I draw them!
This is when the Mic Drop MV got released
as you can see, this one is from November, and these ones are from January, so it's not like
I had an order or anything, this one is from December, this one is from September and this other one is from October
you can also see there's a big difference in dates, I couldn't draw a lot back in November
in October there was Inktober so I couldn't do a lot either
and I couldn't draw a lot since August, I actually focused on this sketchbook in January-February
and the beginning of March
these are more BNHA sketches
I posted this one too, I wanted to do more anatomy studies but I forgot to, this is one of the few I did
I really liked the way I drew hands here, I personally think I've improved a lot with hands
I'm not saying I am the best at drawing hands but I do think I got better at it
This is one of Van Gogh's phrases, I have a lot of phrases by him that I really like
this is from a Vlive stream
This is the one I started with, I tried to follow the shape of the marker bleed, and after that I did the others
these are some of my outfits, I just felt like drawing them
I didn't upload this one because I didn't like it, I drew it with pen and no pencil beforehand
I started with the background and then did the rest
I did the inking with a Muji pen
I did upload this one, it was a study I did with gouache paints
I bought those paints a long time ago, but I never took the time to practice with them
until I wanted to add different stuff, plus I wanted this sketchbook for studies as I mentioned before
I really enjoyed using those paints, it didn't turn out just like the picture, but I don't care because the important thing was practicing
I felt really good using them because I've had them for a long time and I only used them once, I think it was back in June last year? Not sure tbh
Another phrase I wrote, these are flowers I picked at my boyfriend's school
I put them in the sketchbook and I didn't know if they would look pretty or not
like I thought there were only certain flowers that you could do that with
but I found out you can do it with any flower
I thought it was a nice touch
I've been thinking a long time about a drawing just like this one, so I decided to finally do it
it didn't turn out the way I pictured it in my head, but that almost never happens, so that's okay
I really like the way I painted the hair, I struggled a lot because the pen I used for inking
because the pen I used wasn't meant for lineart, so I had to repeat the lines over and over
another gouache practice
I added tape because I stained some parts, but then I realized it was a nice touch, so I went overboard lol
ohhh I love these songs, "Santa Monica Dream" always helps me sleep when I have insomnia, it relaxes me so much
these are sketches for prints I'm planning to do
I really like this one for a print, I think I already discarded this other one because I have more ideas that I like more
these are my new CC Sakura stickers and another print idea
I made these when I was starting to watch CC Sakura again, I haven't finished it yet but
tbh it makes me so happy to watch it again, I am so happy all the time
I didn't remember it was THAT good
CCS is like my favorite thing in the world and it reminds me of my childhood so that's a plus
anyways, my favorite anime is Soul Eater and I really wanted to draw something for it
I also wanted to practice dimensions and dynamic poses
I think it's nice, I really liked this foot

these are photos I've taken of my city, I really like photography but I don't practice it as often
I feel like I should focus more on drawing than taking photos
I have a friend that is a photographer so I leave the photos to her lol

this is a sketch of a scene from From Up On Poppy Hill, this movie is my favorite Ghibli movie along with Whisper Of The Heart
this is from the scene he takes her to where the violins are and you can see the whole city
i obviously didn't do it nicely because I was too lazy to lol
I wanted to do it very simple, I did a livestream for this one
another thing I wrote, and this one is inspired by a girl I saw
these are from my trip to Guadalajara back in November, when I had to stay like three weeks
these are some of the pics I took, this one is from a place that sells ice cream
it was so expensive so I couldn't get one, but I do hope I can come back and get one
because it was one of those places where they give you bread shaped like a fish and they fill it with ice cream
this last one is from a restaurant I really like going to, it's called K-House and they sell Korean food
and it is a gallery too because the owner is a photographer
this is one of those paint samples, I tried to make it look like a car, but the marker got all smudged and it was a mess
it looks ugly but I didn't want to take it off, it's not like I could anyway

this is a painting by Pierre Auguste Cot, it's called Spring Time
I really wanted to draw this one because I reaaaally like the girl's face, she's looks so playful but sweet
she's so pretty, I didn't do her justice, I also really like the curves the painting has
after that one, all of the other sketches are paintings from my favorite artists
These two are Klimt's, this one is Mucha's and this one is by Toulouse-Lautrec
they're my favorite paintings by them, though I also like Klimt's The Kiss, it is the most known (I own a pair of socks that have The Kiss in them lol)

I love how I drew this one! I'm not good at drawing dogs, it was even harder because he has a lot of hair
but I really enjoyed it! He's so cute, it made me happy to draw him and see his pictures
Paint blobs! I saw an example like that one before and I wanted to try it out myself
I saw this phrase in a shirt on instagram, the original phrase says
"Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be", but I didn't like that it said "as /I/ want YOU to be"
so I changed it to "As you want to be"
this is another sketch, it was supposed to have plants in the background but I forgot to finish it, I guess I'm gonna leave it like that
