Youtube daily report Jun 11 2018

I have no idea why I laughed at that that was a happy laugh. It was cute

Okay, we're gonna accept it in this household

So I did a video like this where I did self care for myself for a day, and it was a great video

Because it was good for me personally, and it was also good for you guys and almost like a while

I love you all

I love my people and I don't know I want to do that again

And you guys loved it so much so I decided kind of got a little bit carried away and I did it for a week

oops

Yeah

First off I bought you guys some stuff in the video and I'm going to be giving away you guys first off I stand you

All we love a father that supports his kids. When is the father thing and end? I don't know. It's kind of cute though

Just don't take it you seriously

Basically, I got you guys all a present Wow

We love during the video you guys literally voted on it

And all you have to do is follow at Jesse page and instead we entered so if you're calling me you're entered if you follow

Me a year ago. You're still entered at all

thank you for following me per year and let's get this to 100% thirty thousand likes if

You think that when I release merch you should give it away

Only if it gets to thirty thousand likes I will do emerge ways. So I'm watching you

Got to support my kids. So essentially for this video I decided to do access self-care for myself for a week

and I really needed it again this week and I've just been doing that in general and I was like

Why don't I film it again? You know, you never know who it can help

So I had you guys pick different outlets of self-care. Yeah, and it was really good

I've been trying to just do certain things for myself that I

myself am

Nervous. Yeah, and I just I'm never nervous when I talk to you guys. I don't know

I just I'm so incredibly proud of myself and I've been really taking steps. I need to to get in a better place. Not only

Physically, but anyways, this is going to be me trying out Japan self care for a week

And what works for me might not work for you?

but It'll give you ideas for things to try out for yourself and I'll just show you how to find balance because I tend overworking myself

I'm a perfectionist and if you relate to that in any way or even if you don't even if you're on the other end

It'll show you a way to just find better balance and I feel like this week

I found really good balance

And I just I send you love and I said this in my last video and people really

Appreciated it, and I don't want it to be annoying. But I think it's really important

A lot of you guys really appreciated it

But if you're in a bad place know that it'll seem like you can't get out of it in the moment

It's so much easier said than done

But I just promise you that you were stronger than you believe you are and your whole entire life isn't defined by

Your current moment and your current mental state and surround yourself with love when you're sending love into the world that deserves to be

Reciprocated back to you. Okay, it started so the first day decided to go shopping for myself and literally, okay

This is it

I was playing I write sins not tragedies

On electric guitar and my friend was singing and it was like in here based on my friend Frank

He's a big panic fan. We all know that me Stan

I have a big one as well and they FaceTime and I was showing those playing panic and I happen to be walking distance from

Hot Topic just say this if you're believable, but it's actually been

The best for my wallet, but it's okay

I can you guys keep stuff

He was like, hey, I'm at hot topic right now

and we met at Hot Topic and I decided I would let you guys pick out what to buy and I picked out things that

I wouldn't normally buy but I've actually really been enjoying the items and I've got the same things for you guys to obviously retail therapy

Is normally the cheapest but I just want to remind you it's incredibly important that it's not the only outlet of self-care

I'm about to go to my new apartment. I told you guys that I'm moving. I think I need to do an apartment tour

Here well

She got a two-bedroom

Is no section would be my guest room when I'm over

Over there was a band t-shirts and then this braces room with Harry Potter

She's also vital that's her too

Okay, so I'm gonna do a poll of my story for which charity should get

Yeah, ravenclaw, what are you so they're in

Can we talk about how on-brand this is you standing little hot topic discussing

The mall of course I love he's straining

Clearance yes, I will throw him up cause

I asked karaoke or arcade. I was kind of hoping karaoke would win it did it looks like I'm drunk

I don't drink alcohol

I promise I am legitimately the softest human I have fun without it

And I think these clips are also proof that I don't think I will ever need it

I'm weird enough on my own. We stand and father with a great relationship with alcohol

I'm serious. No, like I just personally don't need that stuff to have fun. And that's really cool

I get a sudden rush human just from reading a really good book. I don't think I'm special for that reason

In fact, I felt quite alienated a good way to that and I read your comments and you won't relate to that

I think it's really cool

I was growing up like I wish I knew that other people sometimes felt that way and obviously there were other people but they weren't

as open

You and me

So into a cute little cafe I always wanted to go to and for me I don't put my value in my appearance

But when I even just like take an extra effort to shower

I'm not even just saying that to be relatable like a literally shower every six days

See, what's great about having a beautiful rainbow in your apartment. Is that when you don't shower and do stuff like that, it's a distraction

For jazz hands

Okay

You know, we're really like just doing silly stuff like that that I forget to do

Sometimes I'm sure you relate to this but mentally sometimes when you're not a good place you forget to do things like wash your hair

Might need something like curling my hair. It always makes me feel good

So I was like curl or straighten my hair and you guys weren't about the streets

My hair, I don't know if I want it to be straight or curls

I'm really curious as to how you guys like my hair more. I don't know. I've never really thought about it. I've seen

Love quality content. Oh my god. It's like a beautiful like ring of light around me

Care that I'm single hello. So you guys all said curly. Wow, that was bright not about the streets

It does like I'm like not it not about the heterosexual

Said that like while I was under the rainbow not about the straight. I

Am now going to go to a tea place and I want to have you guys she was my date frosty milk tea look cute

Little bow and then my shirt says more self-love

So let's give you guys about me and I like the curl not about the street, okay?

I'm going over the poles right now and there's a very serious matter to discuss in this

Household even though I'm not in a house. I kind of look like one of those girls that goes in cheerleading trips

like over summers forget Space Camp

So 74% said curly for my hair and then I said milk tea or coffee and so far

It's very close but milk tea is winning by 55% a frosty multi

This one direction 68 percent I thought it would be like an overwhelming went maybe it's just like it's too emotional for people

It's like don't listen to it Jesse. You're just signing up for the field

So I mean if you're looking at for my well-being and that's why you voted. No, like that's that better be the only reason

Was that a threat you just gave food? You're looking after my well-being. I was gonna say that's hella cute

but I guess

hello, so I've been playing electric guitar and I

Went and I got tea and I got tutti sip some tea, so I got rose tea with sugar

Honey, and oat milk, and it's so good. Yeah, it's really good, but wait

Okay. Someone asked me yesterday

they were like

how old are you and I was like physically or mentally I

Put another poll up and I asked if I should pose to my Jesse Josh my other Instagram

I was like should I post a picture or a video and

Let's see. What won a video is currently winning by a little bit

A lot of bees have it 5050 and it's been really interesting for me

like I thought karaoke would win by a lot but

A lot of you guys voted for the arcade. So video is twenty four hundred votes. Currently. I posted a little while ago and

Picture had twenty two hundred. But yeah, that's how it's been and my friend Jackson is coming soon

I think I'm gonna do one more poll with her. Yay. This is my third milk tea today

Yeah, and I had a cookie this this trend is not been making me the healthy and then last to finish it off a part

Of self care is trying something new and out of your comfort

So even if it's scary, it's just living your life and sometimes living your life isn't perfect and you try things aren't fun

but it's just experiencing things self here isn't always nice and fun and beautiful and

incredibly

Articulated poem about bubble baths and so on. Yeah, I decided to essentially try coffee the first time

I know I never had it. Yeah, and a caffeine craze has started up. My hand is hardly shaking uncontrollably

Just smile and pretend. Everything's fine. First coffee. I had wasn't good

But I had another coffee after it was hazelnut flavored and it was really good. I love how like this is the thing

That's super exciting. That's the most exciting thing that's happened to me today. I had a hazelnut flavored coffee

They tried my first coffee on your way

alleged

And that was my week don't care

I didn't fill my whole entire week

But it was kind of just whenever I felt the need to film throughout the week and have you guys vote it did self care

I filmed it was very loose. Yeah, I liked it. I liked vlogging and just showing more of my life

It's been doing a lot more of that. It was really responding to it

I want to keep my videos like fun and light-hearted, but I wanted to put in some serious messaging. We're here really quick

It's okay. I'm gonna be super blunt life can be so dark

everyone at times and it's really hard and sometimes it's so easy to just let that consume you and everything you do and

It's gonna sound incredibly cliche

But you cannot let that

Win and you can't let yourself get to that point where you don't want to win and if you keep spreading light and other people

are

Throwing darkness at you and are trying to I'm sure to metaphorically talk about something really serious in my life

and if people don't like that and don't like to see

succeeded prosperous and happy then you need to find new situations and

Partly telling myself this I'm it's incredibly hypocritical, but you can't wait until you let that darkness take over

You can't wait to take care of yourself. You can't wait for your breaking point

You can't wait for when you do let all the dark things and you're like just take over and consume you you have to always

Constantly be conscious and when you smile make sure it's authentic and even for a bit if it starts to feel this

And inauthentic and do something for yourself even it's listening to a song that makes you feel great watching my videos. No

Yeah, you can't wait until you're falling apart to take care of yourself should always be conscious of that

I know we don't always feel like time

Did have to do with money but know that it's not always even a matter of money

We've went to karaoke free and just play music on your phone

It's possible and I will do everything in my power to spread that even if my videos get like four views

Okay, I'm gonna feed to your pages. I love you all and your posts and that was really serious

So now I need to say something really mean e or something. Follow Harry Styles on Instagram

I'll see you later

Kingdoms Hearts 3 Details Revealed At E3 2018 Square Enix Press Conference - Duration: 3:07.

Hey guys!

Welcome back to Top 10 Gaming, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

After a hella disappointing Square Enix conference, fans have been left a bit disappointed.

No Avengers, no Final Fantasy, blah.

But, we did get a trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3, so it seems like this is as good a time

as any to talk about everything we know so far about the game!

If you enjoy this video, let us know by throwing us a thumbs up down below.

And if you want more, check out our video on the Square Enix conference!

But before you do that, get ready, it's time for everything you need to know about

Kingdom Hearts 3!

First off, let's go over some of the characters we know will be coming.

We saw a bunch of great characters in the trailer, with the cast of Frozen front and

center.

We saw Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, Sven, and Anna, seemingly in Arondelle.

Although, of course, the game will take place across a variety of Disney settings.

We also saw good ol' Remy from Ratatouille, which is the biggest appearance making waves

right now.

Which is kinda weird to me because I don't really see what the big deal is with him,

but it's pretty cute seeing Sora cooking with the little guy.

Plus we saw Sora swinging from Rapunzel's hair, which I'm sorry, can't be comfortable

for her.

We saw a bunch of other character cameos, some new some old.

Toy Story, Monsters Inc, even, ironically, an appearance from Wreck-it Ralph who has

a bunch of video game cameos in his own movies.

And he'll even have Disney princesses in the sequel.

What a coinkidink!

Then there's the story.

As usual, the game will center around Sora, alongside his Disney friends, as they fight

evil.

In this case, it's Sora, Donald, and Goofy, trying to stop the Heartless from taking over

the universe.

With the power of friendship.

Yay!

As a bit of a personal theory, I think there will be some significant decisions to make.

Sora is told to make a choice by Xigbar in a terribly jarring scene shift.

Then a later scene seems to indicate that Elsa will have some sort of choice, which

could mean that our decision would also affect Elsa's.

But at this point, I'm just making barely educated guesses, so I'll stop there for now.

There will also, of course, be a bunch of cool spells to learn.

We saw Sora using some sort of Elsa-style ice magic, but that's not all he'll have

at his disposal.

According to the wiki, there will be a new feature called Attraction Flow, which lets

the party use skills based on Disney theme park attractions.

He'll also have access to 3 different keyblades apparently, each with different abilities.

If you hit enough combos, the keyblade will change, sometimes causing your outfit to change.

As before, there will also be a number of summons, where you call upon famous characters

for help.

We saw this with a Simba summon in the trailer.

Hmm.

What else do you need to know?

Oh!

The release date!

It's set for late January 2019.

The 26th in Japan, and the 29th everywhere else.

So it's a bit of a wait still, but for fans of the franchise, I'm sure the wait will

be worth it.

That's it for today!

Hope you guys enjoyed if you did please smack that thumbs up button and subscribe to Top

10 Gaming for more videos!

More news will be coming up in the coming days, but this gives us a nice starting off

point.

Let me know in the comments what you think of this game, and what you thought of the

Square Enix conference in general.

Until next time, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey with Top 10 Gaming.

Why Can't We Just Kill Off Invasive Species? - Duration: 5:58.

[♪INTRO]

Eradicating a species might sound like something that's always bad.

We put a lot of time and money into protecting life on Earth, not destroying it.

But not all eradication plans target a species' entire population — just the parts that

end up in places we don't want them to be.

Invasive species can completely wreck an ecosystem, and we've tried all kinds of different ways

to get rid of them over the years.

But some of those efforts … kind of backfired.

Spectacularly.

Take, for example, Australia's poster child for invasive species: the cane toad.

Native to southern and central America, this toad is huge, averaging between 12 and 15

centimeters, and will eat almost anything, from carrion to insects to that bowl of cat

food you left outside.

They'll also eat smaller frogs and toads, snakes, snails, and small mammals.

Basically, if it fits in the toad's mouth and it can catch it, it'll eat it.

Maybe the saddest part of the cane toad story is that they were introduced to Australia

on purpose.

Farmers brought them in the 1930s to control the beetles eating their sugarcane crops.

Unfortunately, the toads didn't stay in the sugarcane fields and started spreading

across the continent.

In their native environment, the toads are eaten by local fish, reptiles, birds, and

bugs, but in Australia there are few predators that can eat them safely.

Cane toads are poisonous, and predators not adapted to their poison often die after eating them.

The toads can also spray poison from glands on their shoulders, which can cause intense

pain and temporary blindness in humans, making it both difficult and unpleasant to catch them.

And when it comes to breeding, they're like warty, hopping tribbles.

Females lay clutches of up to 35,000 eggs at a time, and can lay two clutches a year.

Even though less than 1% of the eggs make it to maturity, that's still a huge number

of baby toads to deal with.

Add all of this together, and it's not hard to see why estimates put the number of cane

toads in Australia in the hundreds of millions.

And, despite efforts to control them, they're spreading, moving into 40-60 kilometers'

worth of new territory every year.

But there may be some hope for killing off the toads in one of Australia's native species:

meat ants.

These little guys can kill and eat toads without being affected by their poison, and since

the toads aren't native to Australia, they don't know to watch out for the ants.

If scientists can encourage meat ants to colonize places where the toads like to hang out, it's

possible they could make an impact on the toad population.

Some people have also considered bringing in some of the toad's natural predators,

but that's a risky proposition considering that importing non-native predators is what

got Australia into this mess in the first place.

The same control problems have happened with other invasive species, too.

During the age of colonization, ships carrying explorers often brought along stowaways like

mice and rats.

So, to control them, sailors often introduced foreign predators to take care of the pests.

You know the phrase "two wrongs don't make a right?"

That's super applicable here.

One popular import was the small Indian mongoose, a voracious predator that was introduced throughout

the Pacific islands, the Caribbean, Japan, and the Mediterranean to control invasive

rodent and native snake populations.

The mongoose was a favorite because it will eat practically anything it can catch, and

anyone familiar with Rikki-Tikki-Tavi knows a mongoose can catch just about anything.

That ability was a problem, though.

Because besides invasive rodents, they'll also eat plants, fruit, and eggs, making them

a nightmare for native wildlife.

The mongoose is credited with the extinction of nearly a dozen species across the globe,

which was really not what the explorers who introduced them had in mind.

And they carry rabies, in case you needed another reason to wonder why we ever thought

introducing them everywhere was a good idea.

Obviously, it's best to just avoid introducing introducing foreign species in the first place,

but it is possible to eradicate them if you're really dedicated.

What happened on Macquarie Island, halfway between Australia and Antarctica, gives you

some idea of just how difficult eradication can be — but maybe also some hope.

When the island was discovered by an Australian explorer in 1810, it became a hub for seal

and penguin hunting.

Ships full of hunters brought along mice and rats, which threatened their food stores,

so sailors brought in cats to control the rodents.

Fast forward 60 years, when another foreign species was introduced: the rabbit.

It was an old tradition, meant to provide sailors with food in case a shipwreck stranded

them on a deserted island.

Of course, rabbits multiply incredibly fast.

And with lots of tasty rabbits around, the cats multiplied, too.

By 1970, there were more than 100,000 rabbits decimating Macquarie Island's plant life,

and the cats had hunted two species of birds to extinction.

Conservationists were so concerned about the rabbit problem that they introduced yet another

foreigner to the party: a rabbit disease called myxomatosis.

It was fairly successful, reducing the rabbit population to less than 20,000 within a decade.

But with fewer rabbits to hunt, the cats became even more dangerous to Macquarie's native

bird population.

By 1985, they'd done enough damage that conservationists began a campaign to shoot

and kill all the cats.

You can probably guess where this is going.

In 2000, the last cat on Macquarie was shot, and in less than a decade the rabbit population

was so out of control they'd stripped nearly half the island bare.

To prevent even more damage, the Tasmanian government approved a 17 million dollar program

to hunt down and kill every rabbit, mouse, and rat on the island.

The first wave of the project kicked off in 2011, spreading poisoned rodent bait over

the landscape.

That killed off the rats, mice, and many of the rabbits.

Then, to kill off the remaining rabbits, they brought in the dogs.

Before you facepalm too hard, these dogs were specially trained rabbit hunters that left

the island with their trainers.

In April of 2014, after two centuries of damage, the eradication was complete.

So there might be hope for controlling some of the other invasive species causing problems

all over the world.

But what's happened in cases like these has taught us a lot about just how difficult,

time-consuming, and expensive those efforts can be — and how badly they can backfire.

So, next time you hear a story about unwanted pets being dumped into sewers, think less

mutant ninjas and more ecological nightmare.

Thanks for watching this episode of SciShow.

If you're interested in learning more about how invasive species take over, you can watch

Hank tell the story of bunny and Planet Wonderful.

I Traveled Alone With My Daughter To See My Filipino Family - Duration: 6:56.

I see braids.

- I'm gonna fly on a plane

with my two-and-a-half-year-old daughter

to Virginia without my wife.

Flynn, we're going on an airplane tomorrow.

- [Flynn] Huh?

- We had a trip planned to go to Austin, Texas,

one last trip before our second child arrives,

but my grandmother passed away

and I needed to go to Virginia to be with my family.

Do you think I'll be fine, Kate?

Traveling with Flynn alone on an airplane?

- I do think it's a lot.

- Kate's gonna stay in California

and we're gonna meet up in Austin, Texas,

for Mother's Day.

This might be a disaster.

(crying)

Flynn, we're gonna see Mom in Texas.

Flynn could stay with Kate,

but I really want Flynn to see my mom

and dad and brothers and sisters.

I'm Filipino, and I really want Flynn

to grow up proud to be Filipino.

(bright music)

- [Announcer] A-31 through 60, gates--

getting Flynn onto the plane

without having to lug around the car seat.

Don't pick your nose.

We're here in Norfolk.

Say hi to Auntie Maya.

Can you give her a hug? - Hi, Flynn!

- You scared?

Now, Flynn is pretty shy around my dad.

What is it?

We call him Lolo.

Flynn only gets to see my parents maybe once a year,

so she doesn't really know them that well.

Are you happy to see Auntie Maya?

- Hi, Flynn.

(Flynn laughs)

- You're really happy, very happy.

So, everyone's coming over

- Hey! - Hi, uncle Mark

Flynn's pretty shy around her cousins at first,

- You can't just grab him with his hand like that.

- But it doesn't take her long

to hold her hands and have fun.

Pretty soon, a lot of my family comes over,

including my younger sister Anna,

who I haven't seen in a while,

(children yelling)

It's definitely crowded and it reminds me

a lot of growing up.

We weren't surrounded by a large Filipino community,

As a kid, being of a different culture,

it could be lonely, it can be kinda scary

Hello, I'm Simone de Rochefort and this is Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

It's coming out on October 5th, 2018 and myself and Mike McWhertor each spent about an hour playing it on the Xbox One X.

I'm not going to talk through this whole video,

but let me situate you. You play as either Alexios or Cassandra and in this video

I have interspersed footage from both playthroughs.

This is not swapping between them in a single playthrough like you could do in syndicate with Jacob and Evie Frye.

Mike and I are playing the same missions but as different characters.

I wanted to show you parts of both of those playthroughs so that you could get a better idea of what Odyssey has to offer.

In Assassin's Creed Odyssey Ubisoft has added dialogue choices. You'll see those first at 10 minutes in.

Skip to three minutes for a hundred and fifty-man battle on a beach, which is pretty awesome and

at 34 minutes, you can see the game's skill trees and some of the gear.

Finally at 37 minutes, I have a debate with Socrates.

Don't Watch These Movies With Your Parents - Duration: 5:06.

Watching movies with your parents can be a real treat.

For example, you get to explain the plot to them over and over in a quiet movie theatre.

And you get to experience the eternity it takes for them to consume a small popcorn.

A fair warning to all family night movie-goers though: Choose your film wisely, or else the

sound of them popping the tab on a canned soda Dad brought in his fanny pack won't be

the only thing making you facepalm.

And if you thought you were safe at home, you're wrong.

Here's a list of titles to avoid unless you were a huge fan of that birds-and-bees talk

from sixth grade.

Basic Instinct

This classic thriller from 1992 stars Michael Douglas as a detective and Sharon Stone as

the femme fatale he's caught in a dangerous affair with, despite her involvement with

a grisly investigation.

That may sound like a pretty innocent plot - criminal elements notwithstanding - but

Basic Instinct is anything but family friendly.

These two don't exactly keep it professional, providing more than a few scenes you'll want

to avoid.

And if you know anything about pop culture, you've at least heard of THAT scene.

"What moment would that be?"

"It's towards the-"

"I'm uncertain what moment we're talking about!"

Stone's preference for going commando will have your parents blushing - and you scrambling

for the fast-forward button.

Showgirls

Set in Las Vegas in the world of revues, 1995's Showgirls stars Elizabeth Berkley

- A.K.A.

Jessie Spano from Saved By The Bell.

You remember Jessie, right?

She was the super smart, super outspoken, one-time-caffeine-pill addict of Bayside High.

Here's your first and final warning: Don't let her presence - or your Mom's excitement

about co-star heart-throb Kyle MacLachlan - fool you.

Don't press play.

In fact, don't even show them the cover art.

Just let them remember Jessie Spano from the good times.

"I'm so excited!

I'm so…

Scared!"

Uhh, yeah, we said the good times.

Yeesh.

Boogie Nights

Director Paul Thomas Anderson's masterful epic about the adult film industry, Boogie

Nights is an independent film classic.

Your Film Theory 101 professor will tell you it's a modern masterpiece, fondly recalling

everything from the soundtrack, to the cinematography, to the stand-out performances.

It boasts a star-studded cast populated by every A-lister you can think of, from Mark

Wahlberg to Julianne Moore, to William H. Macy, to Burt Reynolds - just to name a few.

And these big names delivered career-defining performances that set a gold standard for

drama.

Unfortunately, your parents will probably walk away from the film with just one thing

to say: "Where's Smokey?

And why'd the Bandit give up his life of crime and start making dirty movies?"

"Ha-ha!"

Gone Girl

Based on the popularity of the novel, there's a good chance your Mom actually read Gillian

Flynn's Gone Girl and was eagerly waiting for its film adaptation.

Regardless of how you feel, she's seeing this thing, so if it's her Mother's Day request,

or you're snowed in and already caught up on your latest Netflix binge, here is how

you survive this.

Scout ahead.

Know what's coming.

When three key scenes come on - and you'll know immediately when they're happening - clutch

your stomach and run to the bathroom.

Give yourself 4-6 minutes, sprinkle some water on your brow, and when you come back tell

her you're done with Chipotle for a while.

You don't have to be an Amy Dunne type genius/psychopath to pull that one off.

Porky's

We're not really sure what kind of weirdly-themed movie night you'd be having at your house

in which screening the raunchy '80s classic Porky's would be appropriate.

But on the off-chance your Mom buys it on demand, assuming it's a lighthearted family

comedy with a pig mascot, be warned.

This movie features high school kids in some less-than-G-rated situations.

"Unfortunately, we can only show you the outside of Porky's.

Because what goes on inside, is not to be believed!"

Like what, you might ask?

Like attempting to hire a pro to lose their virginity.

And like spying on girls in the shower.

And last - but sooo far from least - like listening to two of their gym teachers making

such loud, ahem, "mating calls" that they could have been heard from outer space.

Hey, kids - remember that bathroom/Chipotle plan?

You know the drill.

Antichrist

"And now for something completely different."

[Explosion.]

As a general rule, anything from controversial director Lars von Trier is likely going to

be off the table for family viewing.

And not just off the table but completely out of the house so that it never soils your

innocent home ever again!

But if we had to pick one from his repertoire that you should steer your unsuspecting parents

away from, it would have to be his 2009 horror film, Antichrist.

Starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg as a couple using seclusion to cope with the

death of their child, Antichrist goes from awkward to outright traumatizing with scenes

of violence so graphic they'd make even the most die-hard slasher-flick fans lose their

lunch.

Remember how your parents taught you never to run with scissors?

Well, there are a few more things you should never do with them - and Antichrist demonstrates

that.

Graphically.

Do North Koreans Actually Make Money? - Duration: 3:47.

After the end of the Korean war, North Korea was a virtually cashless society - everyone

worked for the state and was provided for by the state.

And in the Communist bloc context of the day, it worked - in 1989 North Koreans were more

than twice as wealthy as their comrades in China.

Now we think of them as a hermit kingdom and not trading very much.

William Brown spent his career analyzing North Korea for the CIA.

But actually they were integrated reasonably well into the Soviet plan system of countries.

The loss of support from the Soviet Union, after its collapse in 1991, and a series of

droughts and floods lead to a great famine in North Korea.

The famine pretty much ended the public distribution system in which the North Korean state

fed everybody through the ration system… the government couldn't supply food

so people launched off on their own.

Since then, a strange hybrid economy has emerged, part government-controlled - where rations

are allocated by the state - and part grey market, where currency

is earned in the market economy.

For example: A typical textile worker in the state-run Pyongyang textile mill earns around

3,000 won per month - which has a street value of about 40 cents.

But that worker pays nothing for housing or utilities and receives food rations.

Her sister might legally work for an export oriented company.

She's allowed to get 30,000 won per month but with fewer perks.

Another sister could work for a Chinese company and earn 300,000 won per month but with zero

perks from the government.

All the state workers get paid through this incredibly low wage system and are dependent

on rations that often don't show up.

The ideal situation is for one person in a family to work for the state system and then other

people in the family work out in the market place and earn real money.

It is a highly inefficient system.

In per capita income terms, North Koreans are now 8 times poorer than Chinese and over

20 times as poor as South Koreans.

Rather than reform, the government sought to fill a shortfall in hard currency by trafficking

illegal goods abroad.

According to numerous reports, this illegal business is run by an agency known as Office 39

It's an office that's organized principally to raise US dollars for the ruling Kim party

A study from a Washington-based human rights group traces the regime's criminal ventures

back to the 1970s when about a dozen North Korean diplomats were expelled from Scandinavian

countries for smuggling alcohol, cigarettes, and hashish.

Later the government switched to foreign organized crime syndicates to sell things like counterfeit

pharmaceuticals and heroin, manufactured from state-mandated poppy farms.

North Korea's government has dismissed such claims and some analysts

have also questioned the data.

Since 2005, intercepts of North Korean smuggling have fallen sharply… though more recently

claims of cyber theft have proliferated.

Meanwhile Kim Jong Un has started speaking to South Korea about opening up for investment

in restricted economic zones and he's also talking about switching to a more China-like economic system.

Whether that's a true change of heart, or just a tactical retreat in the face of sanctions

remains to be seen.

Cavuto : Allen West TRUMP-KIM set for hight-stakes talks - Duration: 9:59.

all right so what did expect when they first sit down Donald Trump made some

news over the weekend when he said you know within the first minute or so I

have a pretty good idea how things could go don't laugh at that a lot of people

say in business as in just general life we can size up someone almost that

quickly retired US Army lieutenant colonel former Republican congressman

Allen West he served in Korea by the way and it's very good to have you thank you

for taking the time sir my pleasure Neal what are you making

you're pretty good reader folks um that you could size them up that quickly well

I can tell you when I was a commanding officer one of the things we would tell

young lieutenants that were reporting in for the first time that most good

commanders can size you up and make an assessment of who you are by looking at

you your comportment how your uniform looks your haircut and then when you

open your mouth you either confirm or deny our initial assertions so I think

it is very important that you know president Trump does that I think that

he maintains the high ground and maintains a position of want to say

dominance really when you think about it and I listened to your previous guests I

think it's important that we keep this meeting short because the longer goes on

it makes it seem like Kim jong-un has a moral victory it has a propaganda

victory it's very simple we lay down the markers this is what has to happen and

then you allow the respective staffs from North Korea and and the United

States to continue on with this process you know you talk about a victory for

the other side against the North Korean leader here but I understand like keep

it to time but but a few hours is really tight unless it's to your point I know

we've chatted before about this they've done a lot of legwork and it's sort of

the groundwork for this in advance well if anyone thinks that we're going to

solve what has been going on since 1953 in this meeting over Singapore I mean

you're delusional but I think the most important thing is that President Trump

looks eyeball-to-eyeball with kim jeong-hoon who was a person that is

economically destitute in this country quite isolated internationally

and let him know that you have a chance you have a chance to bring a brighter

future to the people of North Korea or you can continue down this path and you

will find yourself being the member of the Kim family that saw your family's

rule come to an end why do you think the North Koreans are doing this that this

this leader is doing this now it's very simple Neal the game of international

extortion has come to an end when I was stationed over Korea in 1995 that was

going to Bill Clinton administration knows when Kim's father was in charge

there and what they would do they rabble rattled their sabers they make their

threats and we will give them the financial aid and the food aid that

would keep them sustained that has ended when you look at these sanctions they

are the toughest that we have ever had we have a many naval blockade pretty

much so that is out there intercepting any ships that are coming and going from

North Korea and that is put a stranglehold on him and furthermore

we're putting a lot of pressure on China as well do you when you are watching

instan I'm thinking of having people like you you're monitoring these

developments as they're coming in and since I'll be covering it live tonight

on Fox Business which if you don't get congressman you should demand but what

are you getting very good well do do watch it but but in all seriousness will

help me do this what are you going to be sort of waiting for wanting to see the

main thing I want to know is whether this process continue on where does it

go from here I did not expect this to be the the great end-all meeting like your

previous guests talked about it's not going to be two weeks it Camp David or

what have you but what are going to be the initial markers that were laid down

and where do we continue on in this process I'd like to see what Secretary

of State Mike Pompeo comes out and says I'd like to see with the National

Security Advisor John Bolton comes out and says I want to hear that the

sanctions remain in place I want to hear that we are giving them an opportunity

over the next six months to a year to start the dismantling of their nuclear

weapons and ballistic missile program I also think that Japan wants to hear that

they're going to have their hostages released as well

all right sir always good seeing you thank you very much Alan less good for

joining us on your service to this country incredible service at that

thanks cool all right we were up about 500 quarter points

today in fact the markets had been doing just fine as I say throughout all of

this the read on what's more of a worry what's going to be going on at Singapore

tonight or what just transpired in Canada over the weekend that's the best

all right to the best from Fox Business joining me right now I got Susan Lee and

Charlie gasps Marino and I I'm so glad you guys join me because I need to make

sense of how the markets are handling this whole Korea thing the post trade

thing weird isn't up today they are about five seven points but nothing

what's going out we came off the session highs though but you know pushing closer

to 2800 for the SP that's the high that we haven't seen since March and triggers

that I talked to say you know we could see a positive surprise from North Korea

later on today because it's not just a two-way summit it's not just North Korea

and the US China is involved as well we know Kim Jong um flew to Singapore on a

Air China jet right if all that goes well and there's a positive surprise

there could be possibly some positive surprise and you know good rhetoric for

the china-us trade relationship as well even revani with the underlying

fundamentals of what markets respond to and the earnings had been great that you

know balance sheets are good and he's getting better and even if things are

going to blue in with our trading partners it's okay

well you know listen everything looked hunky-dory in late 2007 early 2008 and I

remember when it when when when the switch went on and it wasn't and you

know I would just say this if Donald Trump gets peace in our time with this

deal markets although up okay gotcha if he gets nothing and he just doesn't do

anything bad markets will trade off other issues but this trade stuff that

he's work that he's doing the the roll the dice I think the market isn't right

now the markets are just saying because it doesn't think anything's gonna happen

we don't think it's gonna happen but there have been sort of unexpected stuff

that comes that came in the past it always does and let me tell you

something you're gonna have you have tax cuts which are going to increase the

size of the deficit meaning we're gonna have marginally higher interest rates

anyway because we have to sell more debt if you got that not if the growth goes

that the rate that's good but if it doesn't initially and usually it takes a

little while if it doesn't if it doesn't pay for itself you're gonna have a trade

war on top of much higher interest there are a lot of worries about that when I

talk to people Susan of course you know you sat down with the Canadian Prime

Minister before everything at the proverbial fan there's a lot of ill-will

out there now and I'm wondering how that's reverberating well and you know

as I mentioned it's actually making Justin Trudeau look pretty good in

Canada because yesterday if you went and watch any of the Canaan Airways read any

Canadian use fooling around leave a bad us bully coming in to tell us what to do

and if you know Justin Trudeau is standing up to them well hey maybe you

know he might not be a bad strong leader for Canada in the next elections you

know I found it palatable the comments that were made about Justin Trudeau

whatever you think of this trade deal but you're gonna rally around the leader

conservatives liberals alike correct and that's what happened for both sides of

the aisle so in some ways you know I guess there's been a bipartisan effect

in Canada thanks to Donald Trump why do you think he did this the president did

this or Peter Navarro so there's a special place in hell I think that was

also drama yeah gamesmanship before from the Korean thing in what way well the

show that you know we're not gonna take anybody's garbage and we're gonna fight

you and but but that said you know their words do matter and if you if you spit

in the eye of the g7 which were nominally at least in at least the name

people we can use to blunt the the the growth of China as an economic

superpower looking to take over the world that that's a real problem

like I said right now the markets aren't recognizing that trade is an issue

they've grown comfortable with Trump they like his most of his fiscal

policies they like his deregulatory agenda they don't think he's gonna press

the button on trade however markets are often wrong and if

he does press the button if there is a what

ranging trade morph China doesn't kick in what they're supposed to kick in

after we let ZTE survive if there's a problem with trade and we got a trade

problem when we have higher interest rates that could be a process markets

are usually wrong is that what you said you're often wrong

they're often wrong well you know I'm looking at the Russell 2000 the small

caps index right if there's rotation to small caps what does that say about

political risk it says that people don't you know they're going to smaller

companies not large ones that might be more impacted by drag they're also

looking for yield and for growth below 3% still on a weak saying you you

increase your risk profiles right before the markets usually blow up just that's

always that always happen it doesn't mean they will blow someone's a Debbie

Downer all right let's see what happens here all right in the meantime here

obviously the summit and that's getting a lot of attention here but the the

other issue has to be whether this has gotten a little added itself and that

that's some sort of a correction so I'm sort of a pull back is in order I'm not

talking about the markets I'm talking about the expectations after this

USGS Status Update of Kīlauea Volcano - June 11, 2018 - Duration: 1:38.

Good morning.

This is the HVO Kilauea update for June 11.

In the Lower East Rift Zone, fissure 8 now has 3 closely-spaced lava fountains erupting

to maximum heights of 115 to 130 feet, and is still feeding a channelized lava flow to

the ocean entry at Kapoho.

This morning's flight confirmed that the channel is still full but that there have been no

recent spillovers.

Last night weak lava activity was observed at fissures 16 and 18.

Gas emissions from fissure 8 are high and were recently measured to be nearly twice

the value of the last two weeks, so vog is still a concern in the area.

Crews have been onsite 24/7 tracking the fountains, lava flows, and spattering in the Lower East

Rift Zone.

The cracks on Highway 130 are also being monitored and no changes in temperature, width or gas

output have been seen for several days.

Overnight there were two explosions at Kilauea's summit.

The first, smaller event occurred at 12:46 AM.

Following this event there was no significant dropoff in seismicity until after the second

larger explosion at 4:43AM.

Inward slumping of the rim and walls of Halema'uma'u contines in response to the ongoing subsidence

at the summit.

Sulfur dioxide emissions at the summit have dropped to levels about half of what was observed

before the onset of the current eruptive activity.

Gas and minor amounts of ash are still being transported downwind.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider : Gameplay (Square Enix Conference - E3 2018 - VOSTFR) - Duration: 7:14.

There is a moment in everyone's life when we must make a choice:

let the world shape our destiny...

or fight to become who we're meant to be.

Shit!

No!

What are you doing?

I'm gonna level it!

There are no parachutes!

I know!

Get ready to jump !

No fucking way!

Jonah, we have to!!

Are you out of your fucking mind Lara?!

We have no choice!

I'm not jumping out of this plane!

Jonaaaaaaah!!

Come on! Come on!

Hi! My name is Daniel Chayer-Bisson, Game Director at Eidos Montreal.

You've just seen the beginning of Shadow of the Tomb Raider

which will deliver on Lara Croft's defining moment,

as she raised to stop a maya apocalypse.

Lara will have to confront a brutal jungle environment, in order to survive.

And even though that she's more confident, and more capable,

she will still be outgunned and outnumbered by Trinity.

She will have to use everything she'll learn from the jungle,

and use it in order to survive.

We call this: becoming one with the jungle.

Let's take a look what this means, for gameplay.

Did you guys come through here?

Kall team. Croft is on a course to your position.

I repeat. Croft is coming to you.

Jesus Christ!

Shh! We'll get her sir!

Show me her corpse and your entire team is next *unintelligible*. Wilk out.

I kill you all!!

Ah, Jesus!

*unintelligible*

Base camps having trouble receiving you.

This is up. We're using the booster signal.

What now? I got it!

Okay, how the hell do we attach these together?

Alpha team still has eyes on Jonah Maiava.

Can we get more light in here?

Alpha team still has eyes on Jonah Maiava.

Can you spare me a bit I've gotta check-in with Maltis?

Sure. Give me something to do.

Hey! Do you know Maltis' access code?

0103539.

Hey? Heading over there now...

Do some backup here.

This place is empty. Hmm-hmm... body here!

Looks recent. Guns up.

Gonna find out what's going on.

You, take point.

Lead the way.

Maybe there. Enemy spotted!

FIIIRE!!!

We hope that you like what you've just seen.

So much depth to the combat, but we cannot wait to show you more.

There's new traversal techniques like rappeling,

wall-running, we even have a full 360 degree underwater swimming

which means full underwater exploration and survival.

We have also one of the biggest hub in ever created in any Tomb Raider game,

featuring a hidden city. And of course,

we have tombs, we are more of them and they are deadlier than ever before.

But for now, we're gonna leave you with a video

that will give you a taste of what you expect out of Shadow of the Tomb Raider

and how Lara Croft becomes the Tomb Raider that she's destined to be.

Nefes & Tahir Лабиринты (Labyrinths) - Duration: 2:20.

"Nefes, go."

"As you have understood that it I?"

"I smelled something that I couldn't get out of my head, Nefes!"

I collect on grains.

In the whole picture.

You and I in labyrinths.

Something like flirtation.

You cautiously in hands.

I with soul from silk.

It is unsafe, but I.

«Well as? Has well fallen in love?» I will run on yellow...

I will run, on the sky, on thin.

And if not to you, there is nobody any more.

But why it is so nasty to me?

Thousand mistakes will hit on heart as if a pricker.

Also let us it isn't visible.

Between measurements.

It is so obvious.

Someone from above genius.

Only don't depart...

...to the sky as if wind.

I for you...

I for you in the answer.

I will run, on the sky, on thin.

And if not to you, there is nobody any more.

"There is no such choice!"

But why it is so nasty to me?

"Only you know, huh?"

"But I won't be led!"

"I already one!"

"I will finish off myself and you will calm down!"

"I have told you to stand!"

"How could it come to your mind?!"

"And what was to do to me?!"

"What are you doing?"

"Thank god that today I have run away to myself home!"

"I have made what has to be made long ago!"

"Leave me the right to think of wellbeing of my son!"

"The crazy Tahir, you refuse because of one word told in a rage rush?"

"What means "to refuse"?"

"What refusal?"

" Yes let the one who will refuse..."

"...who won't take away you from here..."

"...who won't close to you constantly speaking mouth…"

But why it is so nasty to me?

Thousand mistakes will be hit on heart as if a pricker.

[Synthesia] Loser - 米津玄師 - Duration: 4:05.

Walking down the street, alone as always, already too sick and tired of these days.

I can't go anywhere anymore

Yet I'll dream, so good night.

We're always bored of these stupid nights like these.

We wanna dance and dance tomorrow, so goodbye.

Walking around and finally arriving here,

But is this place really paradise?

By now, I don't know anymore.

After a quarter century,

A blue-faced super star

is waiting hungry.

I'm a loser;

So either way, howling into the night is fine, right?

Let's go one more time, one more time with out voices.

I'm a loser,

I've heard it since long ago.

The voice that, some days ago, I hid in my pocket.

I don't give a crap about this or that;

The heavenly auspicious sky is now clouded with ill weather.

Look outside from the window of a skyscraper,

And it'll feel like nothing but dust.

Ian, Kurt, and everyone from long ago,

Flipping your middle finger won't change anything.

Now, I'm studying to win it all, with a smile on my face.

A dancing idiot, seen by another idiot,

And we laugh beside them like idiots too.

Carrying a huge burden of self-consciousness,

we are tired and worn out like the remains of scuffed sour grapes.

Even getting down on your hands and knees won't solve anything.

You can't even see ahead with a head with long bangs.

Just laugh, flaring up in a flash petering out in a puff.

That's the cycle of life.

If you want to be loved, say it out loud!

No one will hear you if you just think it.

Even the eternal maiden looks away.

And heaven moves farther away from us.

Ah, yes, I know.

I roll tumble in the deep, and I'm a loser who never wins.

Anywhere is fine. I just wanna go far away.

That's all.

Listen carefully now, don't lose that sound that started resonating in the distance.

Catch your breath

You should be able to find it someday,

so seize that iolite that shines with gold.

Grab it and don't let go!

I'm a loser,

I've got nothing, and it's okay if it can't be helped, right?

To now, rambling on and on with no idea what I'm doing, it's ashes and farewell.

I'm loser.

I pray that it'll happen someday.

Go on, further into the depths of penalty time.

If you wanna be loved, just say so!

No one will hear you if you just think it.

Even the eternal maiden looks away.

And heaven moves farther away from us.

Let's try dancing,

Let's roll until the dawn breaks.

If you can hear me, give me a shout!

I'm loser

So either way, howling into the night is fine, right?

Let's go one more time, one more time with out voices.

I'm a loser

I've heard it since long ago.

The voice that, some days ago, I hid in my pocket.

Let's roll until the dawn breaks.
