It's overwhelming having so many supporters in the USA as a second division team.

I've personally been to the New York fan-club and that's a really special feeling.

So I think it only makes sense for FC St. Pauli to be visiting the USA this year.

To see all the St. Pauli fans who came here from all over, 3.. 4.. 500 St. Pauli fans here in the USA, just to see us.

Then there's the other side with their huge fan base, with an unrivalled creativity, it was sensational.

I was on the bench and didn't know whether to focus on the game or on the supporters.

I was fascinated by the people in the stands, wondering what they would do next.

There were some really special moments, the whole experience was special.

It's the kind of thing you that stays in your head.

I will be remembering these moments years to come, it created a lasting impression, it was special.

This tour was the first time for us that a whole group of us

from the North American fan community were able to get together

not just one or two people. Entire supporters groups were able to meet up in Detroit.

Great things have come out of it. We've got plans coming up. We've got new supporters groups that are getting started

because they saw the kind of support St. Pauli puts behind its fans even though we are 3000 or more miles away.

You had to stay up and it was a very hard fought battle.

Like a chess match it was described afterwards. One-nil in the final, my man Ye Yang Park – is this you right here?

With the lone goal they say you saved the season, so it was a very incredibly difficult goal.

You get it in there and of course you guys remain in the second division.

[Cheering and clapping sounds]

I'm Karen, I work on the design team at Under Armour for what we call global football.

So that's all of our assets internationally that wear our kits.

We take a lot of inspiration from each of the teams when we're designing for those kits.

St. Pauli is actually my favorite club to design for because they have a rich past and a rich heritage.

And there is a lot of inspiration to pull from.

What is one important thing for me when designing the kits is obviously to encompass everything about the club.

Obviously, we know that inclusion and diversity is a huge message from St. Pauli and they are very open about everybody in the community.

So we wanted to highlight that someway in the kit, so there is a detail in the back neck which is like a rainbow taping

and then within the back neck as well we have that St. Pauli callout with the rainbow taping

and then on some of the details, on some of other pieces we have 'football has no gender'

which is callout in the ground that we wanted to put on the kits as well.

Yes definitely, it's always a conclusion as you say, because you set yourself goals at the beginning of the season

and at the end of it you summarize.

I think with the new kit it's a good thing, we can say 'okay it's over

– have we achieved what we set out to do?'

This year, for example, we didn't at all achieve what we had set out to achieve, what we wanted.

Now we can set new goals for the coming year

and work on achieving those.

and the new kit symbolizes that.

It's representative of a new beginning, of us setting new goals and yeah, it's a new start.

Thanks to those tour and on the Friday night we got to hang out with the club at the distillery.

And everybody: the players, the coaching staff were so warm and welcoming and approachable.

I don't think we could have ever gotten such a meeting if we had gone to Hamburg.

No, the access was incredible and all the players we encountered were super down earth

and more than welcome and more than willing to talk about issues on and off the pitch.

In real and tangible ways.

Not just speaking in the stereotype of a club press release but actually having a meaningful dialogue.

At a certain point I think you need to get to that mindset

where you have to fight even through hard times and

just break down some barriers so you can get where you want to be.

… and the single leg. This is what we call your body map.

So when we look at function through your body,

foot and ankle, knee, hip.

This is your back, lumbar, pelvic hip complex and your shoulders.

So you have a big opportunity to do some work around your hips,

we see this when you squat, you want to shift your weight this way a little bit,

you'd want to try and get your body working in a way that it's firing in the right way.

you have go past your limits in order to realize what you are capable of.

I also think that our coach will break us down into our components in preparation for next year

and then put us back together in order to really enable us

to get the most out of ourselves and to be able to start into the season in peak condition.

So, I came really from the long way

through the Philippines and through a lot of countries in Europe.

I had many trials in Europe, but finally I found the club in Hamburg in FC St. Pauli.

It's really an honor to be part of the team

and my next step will be going up to the first league with St. Pauli.

Alrighty, hi everyone. I'm gonna give you guys a quick tour of the UA house,

I'll tell you a little bit about what we do here.

So what we do here every day, we run an after school program for 150 kids within our community.

We go pick up students every day and we bring them here for after school programming.

Our programming includes academic hours, so the first…

…actually the first hour of program they get supper which you'll see is beginning to be set up right here.

So every day they get a nutritious meal that's followed by either math enrichment or literacy enrichment for the day

and then after that they participate in some other activities which may include sports,

music production, business development, so they've done financial literacy,

they've started somewhat of their own small businesses for the time that they're in the program.

We try to offer them a variety of exposure so that they can look kind of behind their neighborhoods

and see the opportunities that are available to them.

There's a difference between just wearing a brand's clothing and actually getting to know

the production processes, meeting those in charge and seeing how the brand actually operates on site.

It really impressed me, seeing how much effort they put into their products

and how concerned they are about keeping their ecological footprint as small as possible

- in addition to their support to social projects all around the world and especially in Baltimore.

It gives us a whole different level of motivation to play in their products.

What I see is the moment. And I see that when you give something,

when people give something, you get something in return. Something develops.

If it turns into a long great process in the end, I don't know.

But if you look at how children normally spend their time these days, at the computer or on the phone,

I think it's a welcome change seeing kids doing things outside and experiencing things together,

realizing that you can have fun just by being together and doing things together.

I think it's important to focus on these things and to offer these kinds of opportunities and to show some warmth and love.

The people there were doing just that and the whole atmosphere was great.

From the first moment I stepped foot in there, I noticed that they enjoyed what they were doing,

that they enjoyed spending time with those kids, that the coaches were getting something across.

That in itself is enough.

I only just came to realize what a massive aura this club has, even outside of Germany.

Yesterday, I was in the hotel lobby and an employee came up to me

and told me that I'm in his FIFA ultimate team because he loves St. Pauli,

I thought that was awesome.

You fly, I don't know, several thousand kilometers around the world

for someone to come up to you and tell you that you're in their FIFA team.

It's the small things like these which really make it special.

When the clock hits 9 we have to leave.

It's our last game today, after this we're done. After this our ways part.

Some of the guys are leaving and flying straight out on their holidays tomorrow,

others are leaving, after today we're finished.

We're making it difficult for ourselves. We had 3, 4, 5, 6 turnovers in the middle where we played around

and everyone had to chase the ball for 40 meters, it's unnecessary.

Yes, playing is okay, but try a long ball every now and then

starting from the goalkeeper and pressing the second ball together.

to not playing the ball back and ending our play all over again.

When you play wide, you have to get the ball to the guy in front of you and everyone has to try and play forward.

Or play it sideways and then back again and then we've got them at the front again.

That's just life, it's not just like that in soccer.You fail, you realize you aren't capable of some things,

you have to get back up and deal with it, you have to analyze, you have to work on it, you have to improve.

That's what life is about. That's the general attitude that I carry, it's not even about soccer.

Well it is, because soccer is part of life, but it accompanies me everywhere, it's with me at the exams at school and throughout my whole life.

I can fail at any stage in life but I have to get back up again and again. Sometimes life is trivial.

Sometimes things seem fatuous and sometimes that's just the way it is, there is no other way except dealing with it, looking ahead and getting back up.

FC St. Pauli visited the USA from May 15th-24th 2018.

Their trip led the Kiezkicker from Baltimore over Detroit to Portland.

It was the first time that a club from the German second division visited the USA.

Halloween has become a huge deal in our nation.

It's an approximately a $7B business with approximately eight gazillion kids

going around offering ultimatums to their neighbors.

So, the question that I get is, "Is it okay for a Christian to participate in Halloween?"

So, permit a super-fast history lesson.

Halloween has its roots 2,000 years ago in the Celtic and Druid tradition of celebrating their new year.

Their new year was on November 1st and to do this, they would lite bonfires.

This is a Pagan religion.

Lite bonfires, wear animal costumes and masks, and animal sacrifices to their false gods.

Well, about 43 A.D., just about 10 years after Jesus,

the Romans come into that land of Ireland.

And you think, "Oh great! The Romans are Christian!"

Well, not exactly yet.

So now they just merge two Pagan holidays together

until about 900 when the Pope at the time

attempts to try and Christianize this holiday by moving All Saints Day from May into November 1st.

So, now we have this tradition of All Hallows Eve.

So, just by the question, "Is it okay to celebrate Halloween?"

I think we know intuitively there's something not quite right with Halloween.

So I think there's two sides to it.

On the one side we have cute trick-or-treaters in neighborhoods

getting together and bobbing for apples.

And I mean seriously, we spent $350M on pet costumes.

That's a true statement.

On the other side, though, there's a serious undercurrent of the occult, the demonic,

witches and this things that go back to these Pagan worship.

And the Bible doesn't just warn against this, the Bible says very clearly we don't want to have anything

to do with the demonic, with mediums, or anything.

The Bible says very clearly . . .

So, what do I do?

I've always let my own kids trick-or-treat.

And they can wear cute costumes,

and I let them get together with their neighborhood and I enjoy giving out candy to the neighborhood kids.

But as soon as that starts to tip in any way towards the mccobb, the demonic, the occult

we don't get near it.

Our battle, again, is not with flesh or blood.

Our battle is with the dark forces of this world.

And your spirituality, your relationship with God, is way more important.

In the end, why would we want to celebrate something so dark

when we can celebrate the life of Christ that is so beautiful?
