How did you end up doing an English part?

You speak English, right?

So.. Naeun, you do it.

I was already designated.

Naeun got an English part for "I'm so Sick"

because her English is good.

With me, Jinger

let's talk about Son Naeun's English.

When I saw this clip, I thought

I don't care how well she speaks English.

I'm so jealous of people sitting next to her.

I wouldn't have been able to hide my excitement.

Son Naeun said

It's easy to be confused between 'give up' and 'give it up for'

It means you clap and cheer.

Like this.

The way she talks is pretty too.

I can feel how much she loves fans.

If you take 'fly by' literally

it means 'fly next to you and pass'.

Flying is faster than walking or running.

Whoosh

So, 'fly by' means

to pass quickly.

'I will be waiting for you.' is the future progressive tense.

Future progressive tense is about

something happening at a specific time in the future.

Naeun was talking about the time that Apink Tour would be happening.

I will be waiting for you.

She will be waiting for her fans during Apink Tour.

Since I mentioned a tense,

there are only past, present and future tense in Korean.

But there are 12 in English!

So, Koreans have a hard time understanding tenses in English.

No matter how hard you try, if you can't understand

leave it there

and take a break from it.

Someone might say 'What the heck?'

If you can't understand now

it means your English skills

haven't reached the level to understand it.

Honestly, I didn't know all the tenses in English

before I came to Korea.

Past, present, future,

past progressive, present perfect and a few more tenses.

That's all I knew.

While mingling with natives speakers

and watching TV in English

I acquired how to use English tenses

without thinking.

I use English everyday in America.

My English skills keep improving.

So, I have reached the level

that I could understand all the tenses in English.

If you try to explain the past perfect tense

to a beginner, it's like asking someone

who can do 5+5=10

"What't the answer for 578+237=?"

It's crazy.

Even though you don't know 12 tenses in English

you can still study other parts.

But some people don't give up and hang on to only one thing,

they get sick of it and give up.

I'm never going to be good at English...

Never do it please!

If you can't understand

skip it and

go back later. You may have a easier time

understanding it.

I experienced it myself.

You can also apply this

when you have a problem

in your life.

When a problem occurs, we keep thinking about it

and have a hard time.

But even if you can't take care of it right away

it doesn't mean you can't go on with your life.

Take a break from it for a while and go back

you may a solution

or it seems trivial sometimes.

When you look back at your life

something that made you feel greatly depressed

doesn't seem so bad

at times. "Why did I do that?" Lol

Some problems in the past are big and important, of course.

But sometimes 'Time heals your wounds'.

Even though you can't understand

some English knowledge,

don't be so frustrated.

Time took care of my problem

about tenses in English.

I studied English steadily.

So it happened.

I always say this.

Studying even little by little everyday will improve your English.

Majority Of Americans Don't Want Roe v. Wade Overturned

Three-quarters of Americans think the Supreme Court should not overturn the landmark Roe v.

Wade ruling that made abortion legal nationwide, a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll finds.

But that result includes a degree of nuance.

Loading.

Just 17 percent say they support overturning Roe outright.

Another 24 percent say they want Roe kept in place, but they want to see more restrictions on abortion.

Just 17 percent want to keep Roe the way it is; 1 in 5 (21 percent) say they want abortion rights expanded to any circumstance and another 15 percent want Roe kept in place and want some restrictions reduced.

In all, that means 41 percent want Roe either overturned or want to see more restrictions on abortion rights, while 53 percent want Roe either kept as is or have abortion rights expanded.

The poll comes as the U.S.

Senate is set to consider President Trump's nomination of federal Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh would replace Anthony Kennedy and would almost certainly be more conservative. .

Legal experts familiar with Kavanaugh's writing believe he might not vote to outright overturn Roe but could use a scalpel to winnow abortion rights.

Abortion rights is often seen as a women's issue, but they view abortion very differently depending on their party.

Democratic women largely want to expand abortion rights, with 54 percent wanting to either make abortion legal under any circumstance or to reduce some of the restrictions put in place.

Democratic men are actually, according to the poll, the most likely to say they want to make abortion legal under any circumstance (35 percent).

The group most ardently in support of outright overturning Roe, according to the poll, is Republican women, who often fuel anti-abortion-rights activism.

More than 4 in 10 (43 percent) of Republican women want Roe overturned.

Another 36 percent of Republican women want restrictions added to abortion rights.

Kavanaugh was not much of a factor in people's voting at this point, except among activists.

The poll shows a real lack of consensus on Kavanaugh, with Americans split on whether they would be more likely to vote for a candidate who supports him (31 percent) or opposes him (33 percent).

He does seem to fire up conservatives slightly more than Democrats — 68 percent of Republicans say they're more likely to vote for a candidate who supports Kavanaugh, compared with 63 percent of Democrats who say they would vote someone who opposes him.

"Americans don't see it [abortion] as a binary choice," said Barbara Carvalho, director of The Marist Poll.

"Most people are somewhere in the middle with the level of disagreement being on the level of restrictions that are also included.

These middle positions are where most people are.".
