Youtube daily report May 2 2017

- Fighting a war is a bad way to decide who gets to survive.

- A Conclave.

- A final Conclave.

One champion per clan.

One death, instead of thousands.

And whoever wins, gets the bunker.

- The episode is called "Die All, Die Merrily"

which is taken from Shakespeare

because Ginsburg and McIntyre, Aaron and Wade,

who wrote the episode, are intellectuals.

- Accept this to do with your clan

and fight with honor as their champion.

- Get ready. It's a blood bath.

It's brutal.

Octavia has returned for the war,

as she said at the end of the previous episode.

- These warriors will fight until only one remains.

This final champion, alone, will tell us

which clan is meant to survive

in the crypt of Becca Pramheda

and which clans are meant to perish in Praimfaya.

(horn blowing)

- It's David and Goliath.

She's up against the giants of

the Grounder combat world.

The war chiefs, and Roan, and others.

So she doesn't stand much of a chance.

- If I die, I die.

I still go down fighting.

- I think people should be prepared for

just a crazy battle royale in the streets of Polis,

and perhaps, to say goodbye to some people.

Not gonna say who, but it's one of those episodes

that people will remember.

- May we meet again.

- Damn right we will.

Trump Tries To End Michelle Obama's Girls' Education Program - Duration: 4:14.

The Trump administration was all set to get rid of a program called Let Girls Learn.

Now, this is an initiative created and championed by both Michelle and Barack Obama in 2015

that basically had the Peace Corps go around the world and help bolster the educational

opportunities and educational tools available for young women all over the world.

Donald Trump on Monday, his administration, sent a memo out to Peace Corps saying you're

no longer going to do this program.

It's over.

Now, that didn't necessarily mean that the Peace Corps was going to give up all of their

tools, I guess, to help young women across the world get better education, but it did

mean that they were no longer allowed to use the phrase, use the program, Let Girls Learn,

which is what Michelle and Barack Obama had created.

Basically, the Trump administration was trying to deliver a very big blow, a very big slap

in the face, to Michelle Obama.

She championed this program and they were taking it away, at least the name.

Now after a little bit of public backlash, the Trump administration said we have no idea

what you're talking about.

We never sent this memo to the Peace Corps that CNN displayed on their website, so yeah,

you did.

Nonetheless, they've said that no, no, no, we're not ending that program.

We're not changing the name.

We're going to keep doing it for now.

The bottom line is that the Trump administration, right now, is trying to spite Michelle Obama

and they're doing it at the expense of young women and girls all over the world.

They're trying to take away educational opportunities for people's daughters in developing countries,

girls who don't have those opportunities presented to them in their own countries without some

kind of outside help.

We're trying to give them the opportunity to become equal or better, to raise these

developing countries to where they're developed countries.

That's the point of these educational programs that Michelle Obama has been championing for

years.

On top of that, the Trump administration also announced that they're going to try to phase

out Michelle Obama's healthy school lunch initiative thing.

They haven't specifically said what nutritional guidelines they're going to go with, what

they're going to continue, but we don't want anything that Michelle Obama was involved

in to still be a thing today.

That's what's happening in Washington, D.C.

This isn't about spiting Barack Obama, it's about spiting Michelle Obama.

Why?

Because she was one of the most powerful and influential first women that we have ever

had in this country.

I know some people would say it was Hillary.

I firmly disagree.

Michelle Obama was out there.

She was a face of this administration, she was working on these programs, she was getting

kids active.

Letting them eat healthy lunches, teaching them about nutrition, being involved, and

occasionally being the cool, hip mom that everybody wanted growing up.

They're trying to take that away from her.

The right wing media did nothing for eight years other than insult and demean Michelle

Obama because they didn't want to eat healthy, they didn't want to get active and get their

asses off the couch.

That's why they hate her.

But more importantly, they hate her because she's a black woman.

A powerful, strong, intelligent, black woman.

That is why Donald Trump and his administration and every Republican in Washington, D.C.,

is trying to undermine everything that she accomplished in eight years as the First Lady

of the United States.

Transgender People Should Be Able to Use the Bathroom of Their Choice | Elijah Nealy - Duration: 4:56.

Yes, I think the bathroom debate is largely a distraction, and based on erroneous assumptions:

One of which is the assumption that all trans women are predators, and that's not any

more true than the myth that existed 25 years ago that all gay men are predators.

The reality is most sexual predators are cisgender straight men.

Most women and boys that experience sexual assault growing up experienced that at the

hands of a cisgender straight male perpetrator.

The second erroneous assumption is that transgender women are using the women's restroom for

any reason other than what any other women would use the restroom.

They're simply using the restroom to take care of bodily functions that we all have,

and that myth or negative myth or stereotype as trans women as predators is not valid.

There's virtually no data that documents trans women attacking other women in public

restrooms.

It's simply not true.

But it is used and being used to police trans people and to attempt to legislate transgender

people out of existence in many ways and to invalidate their existence—their right to

exist in the world alongside, the same as, anyone else's right to exist.

It's also not very workable, right, because as a transgender man in some states I would

be expected to use the bathroom that matches my biological sex.

But the reality is I don't think many women would feel comfortable in the women's room

with me there.

And there are trans men all over the country, and in all the states that are looking at

these laws are enacting them who move through the world being seen only as men who would

be very out of place in the women's room.

And there are many, many transwomen who move through the world being seen as women and

would be very out of place and at very high risk if they were to be forced to use the

men's room.

So the reality is while there's this guise of protecting women, it's both not effective

in that it means men like me would be using the women's room, and if it were really

about protecting women we'd see a whole slate of other bills around discrimination

against women and women's bodies happening in the public sphere.

Being able to use a bathroom that aligns with your affirmed gender identity or gender presentation

is an absolutely critical issue for trans people.

Number one, being able to use the bathroom is a simple biological need and function that

we all have, and it's something that none of us should have to think twice about.

It's something that none of us should need an app in order to find a safe bathroom for

when we're out in public.

It's something that we should be able to take care of and move on with our lives and

not even give a second thought to.

What we have instead is transgender adolescents, middle and high school, elementary school

kids, adults not using the restroom all day long at school because they're not allowed

to use the restroom that matches their gender identity or gender presentation.

And rather than experience the gender dysphoria or the harassment that comes with being in

a restroom that doesn't match their affirmed gender they're choosing not to use the restroom,

and there are medical risks, physical health risks associated with not using the restroom

for extended hours at a time.

It's also a way of saying we don't believe you are who you are.

So when Gavin Grimm is told "You can't use the men's room" at his high school,

the underlying message he's being given is, "We don't see you as a man.

We don't believe you really are a man."

And that kind of message is crazy-making for any of us.

The reality is: as human beings all of us want to be seen for who we really are.

We want to be acknowledged for who we know ourselves to be.

We want to be accepted for who we are and loved for who we are by the people closest

to us, not in spite of who we are.

And when someone, a young trans man like Gavin Grimm, is allowed to use the men's room,

what he experiences is an affirmation that, "We respect, we acknowledge you know who

you are as a young man."

'What The Hell' Chaos Erupts In Oval Office As Smug Reporter Insults Trump - Duration: 3:36.

'What The Hell' Chaos Erupts In Oval Office As Smug Reporter Insults Trump

President Donald Trump's sit-down with Face the Nation grew heated this weekend when CBS'

John Dickerson insulted the Commander-in-Chief in the Oval Office.

After Dickerson's line of questioning got seriously out of hand, chaos erupted, and

Trump decided to abruptly end the interview.

The exchange began with Dickerson asking whether former President Barack Obama had offered

his successor any advice since taking office, an absurdly stupid notion considering the

recent developments surrounding everything Obama secretly did to Trump during his campaign

and subsequent transition.

If there's one thing the president doesn't want, it's advice from Obama.

"He was very nice to me," said Trump, referring to when he met with Obama during

his transition, "but after that, we've had some difficulties."

This was an incredibly measured and diplomatic response given that Obama literally put measures

in place to sabotage Trump's presidency from the get-go.

Dickerson should have just let it go at the point, as Trump had already been exceedingly

gracious, considering the topic, but the reporter wouldn't drop it.

"Difficulties how?"

Dickerson pressed.

"Well, you saw what happened with surveillance, and I think that was inappropriate," responded

Trump, again exercising great restraint.

"What does that mean?"

furthered Dickerson, as if there was something ambiguous about the president's statement.

"You can figure that out yourself," said Trump.

"Well, the reason I ask is you called him 'sick' and 'bad,'" said Dickerson.

"Look, you can figure it out yourself.

He was very nice to me with words, and when I was with him, but after that, there has

been no relationship," Trump fired back at Dickerson.

"I think our side's been proven very strongly," added the president, referring again to the

surveillance scandal perpetrated by the Obama administration.

"Everybody's talking about it and, frankly, it should be discussed.

I think that is a very big – surveillance of our citizens – I think that's is a

very big topic, and it's a topic that should be number one.

And we should find out what the hell is going on."

With Dickerson still unwilling to drop his absurd line of questioning, Trump was forced

to abruptly end the interview to get the relentless reporter out of his office.

It goes without saying that the media would have never treated their precious Barack Obama

this way, which is one reason they were recently given the title "very fake news."

If the worst President Donald Trump has to say about Barack Obama is that he is "sick"

and "bad," I'd say he's being quite conservative in his estimation of a man who

was perhaps the most destructive president the United States has ever seen.

Meditation Kicks Depressions Ass For Good

By Dreamcatcher

Depression is more than just a bummer. Its a stone cold killer.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) depression is now the leading cause

of disability in the world, affecting more than 350 million people worldwide. In fact,

1 in 20 people reported having an episode of depression the previous year in a recent

global WHO survey.

Even worse, depression is also the leading cause of suicide, which has now passed up

car accidents as the number one cause of accident related deaths in the United States, according

to the American Journal of Public Health.

Depression has also become a multi-billion dollar business for pharmaceutical companies

that produce antidepressant Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) like Zoloft and

Prozac, medications that supposedly correct a chemical imbalance of neurotransmitters

like serotonin in the brains of depressed people. We have all seen the ads.

But a 2008 study at Florida State University found that there was no real scientific evidence

to support the chemical imbalance story, no matter how widespread.

Instead, researchers found that the theory has been misrepresented to the public

by corporations and the media and furthermore that much of the perceived efficacy of SSRI

antidepressant medications is due to the placebo effect.

In spite of this and other similar findings, antidepressants continue to be the most prescribed

drugs in the country.

More than 30 million Americans take them even though their therapeutic value is dubious

and they are linked to a growing number of serious side effects including, most recently,

birth defects in children of pregnant women who use them.

When it comes to the real cause of depression, many scientific studies have shown depressed

people actually have more asymmetry in their brain function than normal, especially between

the right and left frontal lobes; areas responsible for thought and emotional processing.

This asymmetry is even considered a marker, or a predictor, of depression in people and

is associated with depressive thought patterns like hopelessness.

And what causes this asymmetry? The answer is stress. Depression, like Post Traumatic

Stress Disorder (PTSD), is actually caused by brain damage from stress.

This explains why numerous aspects of modern life, including student loan debt, are linked

to depression the higher the debt, the higher the levels of stress and depression.

This opens up a can of worms about how society is structured, but it also begs the question:

If stress causes depression, can calmness reverse it?

Meditation, the age-old technique of focusing on the present in order to dwell in a state

of tranquility the ultimate stress buster.

Amazingly, a slew of recent studies have found that meditation does actually shape

the brain; it corrects damage from stress, enhances connectivity between the two lobes

and even promotes cell growth in key regions that are underdeveloped in depressed people,

like the hippocampus.

This means that meditators are changing the actual structure of their brains (see video

above), thereby rewiring their emotional reactions and thought patterns to a calmer baseline

on a physical level. This makes them more resilient to depression permanently.

Studies have shown conclusively that meditation is more effective than antidepressants in

preventing a relapse of depression, and a first-of-its-kind study last year found the

practice to be just as effective as one-on-one cognitive behavioral therapy.

But studies aside, the question remains: can meditation completely cure an illness that

is currently plaguing the entire world?

To find out, Resets Ocean Malandra contacted Spike Gillespie, author of the newly published

book: Sit. Stay. Heal. How Meditation Changed My Mind, Grew My Heart and Saved My Ass.

After suffering from depression off and on for much of her adult life, Spike decided

in December 2012 (in the midst of a particularly heavy relapse) to devote herself to meditating

every day for a year an endeavor she also recorded online by posting daily on her blog

Meditation Kicks Ass.

Three years of daily practice later, Spike remains depression free.

A resident of Austin, Texas, she now teaches a simple non-sectarian meditation technique

based on observing the breath, bringing the mind back to the present and the breath when

it wanders.

Spike says that anyone with a desire to try can get started practicing meditation to reap

its benefits. Her story is an inspiration and a testament to the healing powers of our

own mind.

Reset: Lets start at the beginning. I know you say you had bouts of depression since

your teenage years, but about what age was that? And when did you start practicing meditation?

Spike: I can only take an educated guess.

Based on the fact I started binge-drinking at fourteen, and also that adolescent body

chemistry changes began the year before, Im thinking my depression started very early

in my teen years.

I want to clarify that I cannot remember any protracted bouts of being leveled by depression

in my early teens, but also remember this was in the 70s, before we had the sort

of common usage terms for depression, self-medication, and treatment.

Plus I come from a very blue-collar background where you arent allowed to be depressed

you get your ass up and you go do what is expected of you.

My earliest recollection of meditation is these super mini-meditations like a minute

long we did in Taekwondo, which I studied for a couple of years in my mid-thirties.

That wet my appetite. I was on a road trip in the early aughts when I heard about a Vesak

Day celebration at a monastery outside of St. Louis.

I knew nothing of Vesak Day but was interested in learning about Buddhism. I went and heard

Thubten Chdrn speak and meditated with a very welcoming community and that was the

start of it.

Reset: Did you feel benefit from your early practices? If so, how?

Spike: Memory is a funny thing. Again, I dont have any keen memories of magical enlightenment.

And my practice now compared to the early days is a lot different and, I think, yields

more noticeable results.

But yes, I did benefit from early practices because for one thing, I think anyone who

sits will experience some benefit and also because the early sitting led to the sitting

I do now.

So it was foundation work, even if I had a hard time being consistent or sitting for

more than five minutes.

Those early sessions were, I think now, very much about learning what it means to set intent,

and over time my intent to dedicate myself to a serious practice took root.

Reset: Did you ever try anti-depressants? If so, what was the experience?

Spike: Yes. Very, very briefly I tried four or five different anti-depressants/ anti-anxiety

medications. The results were always, always disastrous. Prozac made me very speedy and

unable to concentrate and I lost a lot of weight.

I was also still a drinker then, which is a bad combination. Effexor I tried just once,

and immediately felt dizzy and a momentary fuzzy blindness and I wanted to puke.

Wellbutrin made me nuts. Zoloft gave me a horrific headache. Its important to factor

in that while I believe my reactions were mostly physical, there was likely some psychosomatic

stuff at play.

Reset: In researching this article I found that a lot of Buddhists and meditation practitioners

are reluctant to say that meditation cures depression, although in my opinion thats

exactly what the whole End of Suffering Bit in Buddhism is all about. Whats

your view?

Spike: I want to be careful here to speak only to my experience. And yes, in my experience,

I say with absolute certainty meditation cured my depression. Since I began a serious practice

at the end of 2012 I have not had a bout of depression.

That is astonishing. Well actually these days its not astonishing, it just is. But with

each year that passed and I am well into my third year now I was amazed. Its

like those signs you see at train yards: X Number of Days Since Our Last Accident.

Im going on a whole lot of days since I last fell into bed and could barely function

for weeks at a time.

I still have down days and last February my PTSD got triggered and I had a few very, very

hard days. But my practice saw me through that. I did not fall into the hole.

I cannot know the future, maybe one day depression will return. But it seems very unlikely to

me, barring some incredible external tragedy, that I will ever again suffer like I used

to.

Because now, even days when I suffer, I have a crystal clear awareness of impermanence

and I know my suffering will soon ease. It always does.

Reset: Science shows that meditators do effectively re-shape their brains, leading to lasting

change. But in terms of the subjective experience, can you tell me what the biggest noticeable

differences were in terms of your thought process and emotional reactions after your

now almost three years of daily practice?

Spike: I like to joke with my friends and meditation students that the biggest change

is that I have a tremendous awareness now of how messy I am, that the meditation hasnt

cured anything, simply made me extremely awake to my tics and traits and neuroses and

bad habits and how many bazillion miles away I am from even spotting the trailhead with

the sign that says, Enlightenment This Way.

The reality though, is that my awareness, and my awareness of my awareness, is a fantastic

tool.

So lets say I am on Facebook I have an extremely active wall and I am a very opinionated

person and people love to show up and argue with me sometimes. I am the absolute queen

of taking the bait.

I am a trolls online dream date. Im not just fascinated by the way certain people

feel a need to get in my face, but Im fascinated by my sometimes non-equanimity in response.

I dont always post a smartass reply but often I do. Still, I have an awareness in

my heart and mind that I am feeling angry or irritated by an offhand remark of a stranger.

This in turn leads me to step back internally and say, Hey, whats all that about?

Why are you focusing so much energy on this stupid remark when that person already forgot

making it?

When I use my awareness to examine my reactions, I can see:

Hey, this is flashing you back to being bossed around as a kid by older sisters and

an angry dad. You are reacting to the past. This defensiveness is life long and it causes

you suffering. Pay attention. Work on that.

In this way, I have become less impulsive, less fly-off-the-handle. This not only allows

me to be less of an asshole in the eyes of others (not that Im super worried about

what they think, but what I mean is I dont want to cause others to suffer), it also brings

me a growing calm that informs my life now. My definition of happiness is calmness.

Reset: I really like that definition; its the opposite of stress and depression. So

do you think meditation should be taught in school?

Spike: I like to say when I am king (because I will be a woman king) everyone is learning

martial arts and meditation. EVERYONE. It neednt be rooted in religious practice.

Mindful breathing for everyone. This past summer I led a couple of meditation camps

for kids.

I was beside myself with joy at how many of them showed up and already knew what meditation

was. I think if we included meditation in the curriculum it would help across the board

it would help with communication, concentration, compassion, all of it.

Reset: Beautiful. Ok, last question: What advice and resources would you share with

someone that is suffering from depression and wants to try meditation but is not sure

where to start?

Spike: I would say to a depressed person, Look, I totally get it. Depression is such

a beast. You feel like you cant even function so how are you going to meditate?

I suggest you just sit up in a chair, in your bed if you cant get out of bed,

or on a pillow on the floor if you want. Close your eyes.

Breathe in and breathe out and as you do just note to yourself silently I am breathing in,

I am breathing out. At first you might only be able to manage a few breaths or a minute.

Thats okay. You are not doing it wrong. You are trying, so you are doing it right.

Route Spotlight: Midwest - Duration: 1:50.

What does it take to build the Hyperloop

across the Midwest Connect?

We already have the people, the companies,

the engineers, and the materials production

to get it done.

I'm Alex Fischer, I'm the President and CEO

of the Columbus Partnership.

I'm William Murdock, the Executive Director

of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.

I'm Thea Walsh, I'm the

Transportation Systems & Funding Director

for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission

and I'm part of Team Midwest Connect.

We are so excited about the forward-thinking

nature of Hyperloop and how our three cities

and the communities in between can all be a part of

that Renaissance in the heartland of America.

So you've got Chicago and Columbus and Pittsburgh,

and we have the opportunity to transform those regions

by connecting those economies,

connecting the assets in those cities in new ways.

You know the Midwest Connect Team is really

a unique collection of governmental agencies

and private sector organizations that are

coming together in a true public-private partnership.

It goes from cities the size of Columbus

and the state, but also includes cities

like Lima, Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana.

This is something that has universal support.

Connecting perishable goods to regions in a new way

allows you to solve social problems like food deserts.

In Columbus, we have an International Airport

where we're exporting food products directly.

If you can get perishables to Columbus in 20 minutes,

you're exporting next day from the

fields of Indiana to the Middle East or Japan.

That's a transformative opportunity.

A lot of freight is moving through our area, so this is an

opportunity to move from the heart out

on a national system,

and that's what really makes our route very compelling.

If it works in the Midwest corridor,

it's going to work across the country.

Congress Demands FBI's James Comey Answer 4 Questions That Will Destroy Him - Duration: 5:39.

Congress Demands FBI's James Comey Answer 4 Questions That Will Destroy Him

Corrupt FBI Director James Comey has been at the center of the intel community's integrity

problem.

His stalling tactics and lack of cooperation with Congressional investigations have now

led to a top Senator openly asking the Trump-hating director four questions that he knows he can't

answer without destroying what's left of his credibility.

Now, Comey has to choose between telling the truth or wrecking his career.

According to Daily Caller, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary

Committee, is tired of Comey's unprofessional lack of cooperation and has now openly accused

the FBI Director of dishonesty.

Grassley's accusations came in the form of a letter with very specific details of

Comey's misconduct and more shockingly, four questions that Director Comey needs to

answer to prove he isn't a liar.

The accusatory letter comes just days before Comey is scheduled to appear before the Senate

Judiciary Committee, and it's safe to assume that his obstructive behavior will be the

topic of the day.

Grassley's letter explicitly accuses Comey of making inconsistent statements in regard

to the FBI's relationship with Christopher Steele, the shady ex-British spy who fabricated

the infamous Trump dossier.

The dossier was fabricated by Steele who was being paid by the Democrats to help them target

President Donald Trump's campaign.

Comey still doesn't want to admit that he screwed up and that the bureau's relationship

with Steele was in no way appropriate and, in fact, was an attempt to weaponize the capabilities

of the intelligence community against a political candidate.

Grassley's letter to Comey denotes a very frustrated and almost irritated tone.

"There appear to be material inconsistencies between the description of the FBI's relationship

with Mr. Steele that you did provide in your briefing and information contained in Justice

Department documents made available to the Committee only after the briefing," Grassley

wrote to Comey.

In addition to putting Comey on notice that his dishonesty hasn't been appreciated,

Grassley demands in his letter that Comey is forthcoming and answer the following 4

questions:

1.

Documentation of all payments made to Mr. Steele, including for travel expenses, if

any; the date of any such payments; the amount of such

payments; the authorization for such payments.

2.

When the FBI was in contact with Mr. Steele or otherwise relying on information in the

dossier, was it aware that his employer, Fusion GPS, was allegedly simultaneously working

as an unregistered agent for Russian interests?

Please provide all related documents.

3.

If so, when and how did FBI become aware of this information?

Did it include this information about Fusion GPS's alleged work for Russian

principals in any documents describing or relying

on information from the dossier?

If not, why not?

4.

If the FBI was previously unaware of Fusion GPS's alleged unregistered activity on behalf

of Russian interests and connections with a former

Russian intelligence operative, does the FBI plan to amend any applications, reports, or

other documents it has created that describe or rely

on the information in the dossier to add this information?

If so, please provide copies of all amended documents.

If not, why not?"

[Source: Newsmax]

It is epic to finally see Comey getting pressured, to be honest.

American patriots watched in overwhelming frustration as Comey sat before Congress after

his fake investigation into Hillary Clinton's illegal email server and told them there was

no reason to prosecute her.

That was the day Comey lost his credibility and that is why America doesn't trust him

or the FBI any longer to uphold our laws.

Comey can't be forgiven for the abuse of his position because he used his power to

sweep Hillary Clinton's criminal prosecutable offenses under the rug.

Comey needs to answer these four questions posed by Grassley and do the right thing for

a change.

Recent reports coming out of the mainstream media have tried to let Comey off the hook

for his failure to go after Hillary Clinton by saying that he didn't refer her to the

DoJ for prosecution because he didn't trust former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

That is a load of bull.

If Lynch didn't do her job, then America would have been able to put her feet to the

fire for it and there would now be an investigation into her conduct as well.

Comey doesn't have a leg to stand on, and he should come clean before stepping down.

FRIDA'S WORDS | Eileen Aldis - Duration: 3:35.

I used to think I was the strangest person in the world.

But then I thought there are so many people in the world,

there must be someone just like me

who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do.

I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me, too.

I hope that if you are out there, you know that, yes, it's true I'm here, and I'm just as strange as you.

Nothing is absolute.

Everything changes, everything moves, everything revolves, everything flies and goes away.

I think that little by little I'll be able to solve my problems and survive.

At the end of the day, we can endure much more than we think we can.

I paint flowers so they will not die.

Passion is the bridge that takes you from pain to change.

Nothing is worth more than laughter.

It is strength to laugh and to abandon oneself,

to be light.

I love you more than my own skin and even though you don't love me the same way,

you love me anyways, don't you?

And if you don't, I'll always have the hope that you do, and I'm satisfied with that.

Love me a little.

I adore you.

Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?

Can one invent verbs?

I want to tell you one:

I sky you,

so my wings extend so large to love you without measure.

I want a storm to come and flood us into a song that no one wrote.

I leave you my portrait so that you will have my presence all the days and nights

that I am away from you.

I am my own muse, I am the subject I know best.

The subject I want to know better.

Anguish and pain,

pleasure and death

are no more than a process for existence.

I hope the exit is joyful and I hope never to return.

Odessa massacre witness interview, the Hague/Одесса 2 мая, интервью с очевидцем. Гаага - Duration: 15:01.

- A Dutchman who is living in the Hague

meets Ukrainian, who is living in Ukraine.

Dutch says to Ukrainian:

"We have a real democracy.

I can come to the main square in the Hague

and to yell "Rutte [Dutch PM] must go,

Rutte betrayed us,

Rutte isn't our guy! He should leave!"

And Ukrainian from Odessa answers:

"We got a real democracy too!

I can come any time to Kulikovo Field in Odessa,

or even to Deribasovskaya Street

and yell "Rutte must go!".

- Sergey, are you originally from Odessa?

- Yes, I'm from Odessa.

However, since 2014

I'm living mostly in Spain.

In Getafe, it's close to Madrid.

In Odessa, for already 3 years in a row,

people come to Kulikovo Field every 2nd day of each month

in order to keep memory alive of what has happened.

Here, in Europe

we hold this kind of events annually,

since 2015.

Then 2016 and 2017.

We are preparing big event in Spain, Barcelona.

And my friends from here,

Nikita Ananiev and Alena,

I have lots of friends in Holland,

they hold this event not on May 2nd, but two days earlier.

So, they invited me to come over

as was an eyewitness and participant of Odessa tragedy.

Firstly, to support Dutch participating in this event

and secondly, to tell the truth about what took place in Odessa.

Truth from an eye-witness.

Here are lots of cafe's with tourists on the terraces.

They really like this place.

We walked by all these terraces,

holding our banners

with photos and information about people killed in Odessa.

People had questions,

we were explaining them what has really happened.

Cause, speaking of my experience,

in many countries

people don't know about Odessa tragedy.

They know nothing at all!

- Three years ago you were a participant and eye-witness of all these events.

Have you been in the Trade Unions House too?

- I have been there from the very beginning:

first on Deribasovskaya Street, then on Grecheskaya Street.

Lots of things were happening and I was running around.

Since I could walk freely everywhere,

I was taking photos from both sides, so to say.

Just imagine: something is happening over here

and streets are opened.

Just turn around and you are on the other side,

turn again - and you are on another.

That's why from 700 photos I took,

there are pictures from both sides.

And when Banderovits headed to the Trade Unions House,

I took some pictures and ran to Kulikovo Field.

I wanted to warn the guys,

ask them to stay away from trouble.

Why is that?

Cause, usually, on May 1st and 2nd

everywhere on the territory of former USSR,

people use to go out of the town.

Therefore...

Any other weekend, up to 30,000 people were coming to Kulikovo Field.

We were counting, so these are exact numbers.

30,000 people.

But on that day there were just around 400 people on Kulikovo Field.

Those who didn't leave the city.

And these were no militants,

grandmothers and grandfathers, teenagers.

There was a TV installed on Kulikovo Field,

with "forbidden" Russian channels,

old people were coming there just to watch Russian TV.

That's why they were there.

When I came there,

some sort of barricade was already built near the Trade Unions House

and a man I never met before

was urging people to go inside the building.

Around 300 out of 400 people went inside

and 100 people took off their St George ribbons

and mixed with the crowd on the square.

I took my St George ribbon off too

and realized something:

if I will go inside TU House with all the photos I took,

in order to leave TU House, I will have to go through policemen.

And if I'd get caught by police,

they would take my memory card with all the pictures.

That's why I decided not to go inside,

but to take photos outside, on the square.

That's why I got photos of everything that was happening outside.

I saw people jumping out of the windows from the 3rd floor.

I saw one of the Banderovits, Odessa resident, by the way,

is running to the burnt man who jumped down from the 3rd floor

finishing him off, by smashing his head with a bate

and yelling: "I killed him!"

I saw window opening...

and on the 3rd floor...

And it was BEFORE any of Banderovits entered the building.

And out of sudden, window on the 3rd floor is opening

and in the room where the strangled cleaning lady was found later,

we were thinking first she was pregnant,

it's a famous photo,

this very window was opening

and someone was waiving Ukrainian flag from there.

And the crowd on the square was yelling "Heil Ukraine, heil heroes".

And the scream of this woman,

while she was being strangled,

this horrible scream...

Even now when I'm thinking about it, I...

When she stopped screaming...

the crowd on the square, all these jerks,

were chanting: "the bitch is killed".

My friends have died there...

My good friend,

a poet.

- Do you mean Negaturov?

- Yes.

I... with his brother...

I was the best man on Sasha Negaturov's wedding.

We meet often.

So...what can I say?

I can tell you one thing:

these are tragic and painful memories.

Watching people being killed,

it's scary...

Really.

All the time I...

it's painful to talk about it.

And the most painful part is

that these murderers are still walking around unpunished!

I can tell you one more thing.

When we were searching the building,

the following occurred:

we went up to the attic,

doors were opened.

Attic is pretty big, since it's a large building.

We walked around.

First of all, we saw there 100 liter can with gasoline.

Who brought it there?? Nobody knows.

We found there a machete case.

It is a known fact,

that there was a priest constantly present on Kulikovo Field.

He was found with his hands chopped off...

Funerals were with a closed coffin,

to hide his cut off hands...

And we turned around the corner,

we saw a "toilet", so to say.

With fresh human shit on the floor.

We did the count: 28 piles of shit.

It means 3 days and around 9 people.

So, on April 30th when TU House was open

and anybody could go in,

with anything they want,

some guys got inside, I think.

They went up to the attic

and were hiding there.

And here is a question:

why shitting on the floor, while there are nice bathrooms on the 4th floor?

It means, that these people were hiding.

And why there is no toilet paper next to these piles of shit?

Not a single cigarette, nothing.

The reason is

that people were told to clean after themselves,

but didn't come to their mind to remove the shit too.

So, they set themselves up.

So, my opinion is

that on April 30th a team came there.

9 or 10 persons.

They were hiding in the attic and waiting for May 2nd.

One of them urged people to go inside the building,

like sheep to the slaughter house.

Why? Cause, like I told you earlier,

before Banderovitz stormed into the building

flag already appeared

and that cleaning lady was being killed.

Here is my idea of how it happened.

Cleaning lady was supposed to come to work on May 5th.

Why did she come on May 2nd?

Cause she was planning to go away for the weekend.

That's why she came earlier.

Nobody was expecting her there.

You know how the cleaning ladies are... tough like generals.

Imagine, this woman is cleaning the floor

and suddenly from upstairs

strange guys are coming down to the 3rd floor!

With night vision goggles,

bates, some weapons.

She probably yelled at them

and they grabbed her, brought to that room and...

strangled with the phone cable.

And afterwards...

Oleg [Muzuka] was telling me the same thing.

He was wondering too where did gas come from?

I saw these windows.

Glass is one finger thick!

Real thick! And there is double glazing with huge space in between.

Thus, if you throw a bottle or a stone to the 2nd floor,

it's impossible to break the glass.

Single glass maybe, but not double glazing!

Means, someone from inside was doing that.

And considering the fact

that those were not some regular Molotov cocktails...

Molotov cocktail is something else.

They were making napalm.

What is the difference between these two?

Napalm is a kind of burning glue.

They were putting pieces of plastic into the bottle

adding gasoline.

And throwing them, after lighting them up.

When bottle was smashed against the wall,

glue was sticking to the wall and it was burning.

There was one guy... Ivan Muzuka.

He is handicapped now.

He was telling that he was hanging [on the window],

cause room was on fire,

and they were throwing bottles and it was sticking to the wall,

they couldn't hit him directly, but he was burnt by fire.

After that he jumped out of the window, from the 3rd floor.

People who died inside were burnt by napalm too.

People were murdered.

Position of the bodies on the floor...

It's a given, that these guys came there to kill.

Nobody was expecting it.

It was a weekend.

Thick doors from oak.

Oleg still wonders how he managed then to kick this door out

in order to enter the room.

They were trying to barricade the door from inside later.

There were four of them.

Interestingly enough,

as soon as the fire started, the power went off.

When they rushed to the bathrooms,

the water was turned off.

At the time the fire began.

Even in the fire hose...

You know, the fire hoses, the long ones.

All hoses were torn.

People wanted to use them to go down,

but they were cut.

And there was no water in fire hydrant!

A municipal building with no water??

About the power:

lights were turned off immediately after the fire and panic began.

On purpose, to make things worse!

Dark hallways with no windows,

smoke...

These guys, apparently, were wearing night vision goggles

and murdering people one by one.

I think, they were planning to kill everyone, leave no witnesses.

But people, out of fear,

kicked down the oak doors and hide inside the offices.

These guys were knocking on these doors and demanding to open

and they could kick doors down indeed.

That's why fire fighters weren't coming,

even though the fire station is on 15 min walking distance

from the Kulikovo Field.

They weren't coming in order to give the murderers time to kill!

- Do you think that one day justice will be served

and those who committed this crime will be punished?

- Well, you see...

every fascist will get his personal Nuremberg trial!

It may be called Odessa trial

or Hague trial, whatever.

But the time will come

when the current regime will fall

and new people will come to the government,

ones who will not support these Nazi jerks,

justice will be served then.

Justice will be served, I really hope so!

And like in Georgian saying:

there will be a hook to hang every lamb's leg!

1 Corinthians Chapter 15, Verses 1 through 19

Now I make known to you, brothers, the gospel which I announced to you, which also you received,

in which also you stand, Through which also you are being saved, if

you hold fast the word which I announced to you as the gospel, unless you have believed

in vain.

For I delivered to you, first of all, that which also I received, that Christ died for

our sins according to the Scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He has been

raised on the third day according to the Scriptures; And that He appeared to Cephas, then to the

twelve; Then He appeared to over five hundred brothers

at one time, of whom the majority remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;

Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles;

And last of all He appeared to me also, as it were to one born prematurely.

For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I

persecuted the church of God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am; and His grace unto me did not turn out to be in

vain, but, on the contrary, I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I but

the grace of God which is with me.

Therefore whether it is I or they, so we preach and so you have believed.

But if Christ is proclaimed that He has been raised from the dead, how is it that some

among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.

And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is vain; your faith is vain also.

And also we are found to be false witnesses of God because we have testified concerning

God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if indeed the dead are not raised.

For if the dead are not raised, neither has Christ been raised.

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.

Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

If it is only that we have hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most miserable.
