finding your power... So i found myself

sharing with somebody a little bit about

my background. When I was younger I

used to feel really powerful when I was

ready for a fight. There was something

about like bracing for, "let me speak to your

manager!" that made me feel powerful, and

now I share that I feel powerful when I

smile... and it was a real big shift for me.

It had immensely different results...

so I want to share with you and have

you think a little bit about what

makes you feel powerful? ...and is it a

productive power? Is it working for you?

Because I can tell you,

power when I was angry... Meh... no. But power with a

smile, oh god... it's amazing the results

that you get. So find your power,

share with me! I'd love to learn from you.

Success Shortie: Doing Something Different - Duration: 1:06.

Hi everyone! Michelle Tillis Lederman here with

this week's success shortie about doing

something different.

The definition of insanity is to do the same

thing over and over again and expect a different response.

I know that's the going joke,

but if you really think about it, it makes a

whole lot of sense. If we're not working

well with somebody else and we're

constantly butting heads

what if we tried something different?

Instead of kind of coming at them an

expectation of tension and an

expectation that things aren't going to go

well, let's come at them thinking it's

going to go great! Let's compliment their

work.

Let's take a different tact or fill a

different role within the dynamic and

see what happens! I bet you'll get a

different response. I can't promise you

it's going to be a perfect response,

but it will be different and you can

shake things up and take it from there.

So I dare you and challenge you and

can't wait to hear what you tried...

Success Shortie: Making An Entrance - Duration: 1:14.

Hi everybody! Michelle Tillis Lederman here

with today's success shortie about making an entrance.

One of my favorite keynotes to deliver

is called, "You the Brand". During the talk,

it's audience choice: they try to list all

the things they believed add to making a

first impression. I add a few and an often

forgotten one is making that entrance...

and then, they get to pick which ones

they want me to teach. They love choosing

making an entrance! So I scurry out of

the room in my heels and come back two

or three different times with a different

entrance. I ask them to describe

the person that left the room.

Oftentimes I hear: shy, lacks confidence,

weak, doesn't belong there,

useless... useless- ouch! In just a few seconds,

they decide all of that about you.

So I want you to think about how you enter the room.

I want your eyes up, the smile on...

you were invited to that meeting for a

reason. You belong there!

You walk in the door, knowing it.

The camera he installed to capture the phenomenon caught definitely something.

This clip of a haunted Jamaican boy was covered by the media a couple of years ago.

He says that he is haunted by a real poltergeist.

VIRAL: A little girl confronting a man impersonating President Donald Trump - Duration: 1:07.

A little girl has become a viral sensation for confronting a man impersonating President

Donald Trump.Youre a disgrace to the world, the unidentified child said.

Some people on social media were under the impression the girl was insulting Trump himself.

However, the man in the video was Anthony Atamanuik, who hosts The President Show on

Comedy Central as Trump.

It not clear if she knew it was Atamanuik, or thought it was the real Trump ? but the

impersonator said on Twitter that the moment was spontaneous and unplanned.

I watched her form it in her mind right in front of me, he wrote.

She should be a new resistance meme!

Atamanuik also called her brave, funny and smart.

Alright, the battery light is flashing at me and I am incredibly hungover and I nearly

died at work, but I didn't, and this is happening and there are hashbrowns cooking in my oven

so we're gonna do a quick video again.

You guys are welcome, you guys are so welcome.

What was I gonna talk about?

I have to check my notes.

Oh yeah, I just I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, it might be just a me thing,

but I feel like in every single one of my videos prior to this weekly streak, so pretty

much prior to 2017, I seemed like a different person in each video.

And it really bothered me and I think that's part of the reason why I'm uploading more

frequently, because I'm trying to get a better idea of who I am and what my personality is,

what my content is, what my channel is and what my channel could be.

And it's working really well so far, because I think there's a more cohesive- I'm learning

more to be myself, or at least a version of myself on camera when I'm vlogging.

Which is actually really hard to do, like, really hard to do.

I don't know, I don't think that we should crucify youtubers for being a certain way

in their videos because, I mean, we're always going to be a curated version of ourselves

in these videos.

At the very least, we're going to be a better lit version of ourselves.

And I think that that's not inherently dishonest, and I don't think #branding is dishonest either.

I just think it's best practice, really.

Anyway, maybe that's because I take myself too seriously.

Which I very much do.

Maybe it's because things like "personal branding" get me a little bit hot, but anyway, I think

that regularly uploading is going really well for me thus far.

I'm really enjoying it, I'm getting a lot out of it, but I do want to make sure that

I'm actually making those steps towards making the better content that I talked about in,

I'll put in somewhere on the screen, in that video and sort of towards figuring out who

I am and what this channel is.

And so I'm gonna make some commitments right here, right now in front of all you lovely

people.

Comittment number one, every single one of my videos going forward will be closed captioned

before it goes public.

So not when I think of it, not if I can be bothered, not if I have time.

None of that.

Every single video, before anyone gets to see it must be closed captioned.

That's commitment number one.

And commitment number two, there's only two commitments 'cause baby steps.

Commitment number two is that I want to have, I've been talking so fast and now I've completely

lost my train of thought, commitment number two is I want at least one video out of every

month, not including Faking It, to be what I would call like a concept video or like

a higher concept video.

So rather than all of my videos lately have been kind of quick sit down and rushed chats,

because I'm so busy and that's fine, and some of those are fine, I want at least one video

out of every single month to be something that involves more work.

So whether it's more planning, whether it's more research, whether it's more different

shots, more editing, or whatever it is.

I want at least one video out of every month to be a sort of, conscious step towards learning

to make better stuff.

And those are my commitments.

So let's see how they go.

I guess that's all from me today, I can smell my hashbrowns and they smell like they're

cook, so I kinda want to go.

But thank-you so much for watching, I really want to know also if you are a creator, if

you're a youtuber, if you have rules for your content.

Like, do you have I must upload every single Thursday barring serious illness or, I don't

know, what's another example?

Like, do you have like stringent quality standards? and if you film a video and it doesn't fit

into those standards it doesn't go on your channel or whatever it is I'd love to know

what your rules are because I might steal some of them for myself!
