Posted by Shahida Arabi, the author of the book 'POWER: Surviving and Thriving After
Narcissistic Abuse', here are 5 sneaky things narcissists do to
take advantage of you:
Number 1.
The Idealization-Devaluation-Discard Phase
Narcissists and those with antisocial traits tend to subject romantic partners through
three phases within a relationship.
The idealization phase (which often happens most strongly during the early stages of dating
or a relationship) consists of putting you on a pedestal,
making you the center of his or her world, being in contact with you frequently, and
showering you with flattery and praise.
You are convinced that the narcissist can't live without you and that you've met your
soulmate.
Be wary of: constant texting, shallow flattery and wanting to be around you at all times.
This is a technique known as "love-bombing" and it is how most victims get sucked in:
they are flattered by the constant attention they get from the narcissist.
You may be fooled into thinking that this means a narcissist is truly interested in
you, when in fact, he or she is interested in making
you dependent on their constant praise and attention.
The devaluation phase is subsequent to this idealization phase, and this is when you're
left wondering why you were so abruptly thrust off the pedestal.
The narcissist will suddenly start to blow hot and cold, criticizing you, covertly and
overtly putting you down, comparing you to others, stonewalling you,
emotionally withdrawing from you and giving you the silent treatment when you've failed
to meet their extreme "standards."
Since the "hot" aspect of this phase relies on intermittent reinforcement in which the
narcissist gives you inconsistent spurts of the idealization phase throughout,
you become convinced that perhaps you are at fault and you can "control" the narcissist's
reactions.
You are mislead into thinking that if you just learn not to be so "needy" or "clingy,"
the narcissist will reward you with the loving behavior he or she demonstrated in the beginning.
These are words that narcissists often use to demean victims when abuse victims mourn
the loss of the idealization phase or react normally to being provoked.
It's a way to maintain control over your legitimate emotional reactions to their stonewalling,
emotional withdrawal and inconsistency.
Unfortunately, it is during the devaluation phase that a narcissist's true self shows
itself.
You have to understand that the man or woman in the beginning of the relationship never
truly existed.
The true colors are only now beginning to show,
so it will be a struggle as you attempt to reconcile the image that the narcissist presented
to you with his or her current behavior.
Even though the narcissist can be quite possessive and jealous over you, since he or she views
you as an object and a source of narcissistic supply,
the narcissist is prone to projecting this behavior onto you.
The narcissist makes you seem like the needy one as you react to his or her withdrawal
and withholding patterns, even though the expectations of frequent contact
were established early on in the relationship by the narcissist himself.
During the discard phase, the narcissist abandons his or her victim in the most horrific,
demeaning way possible to convince the victim that he or she is worthless.
This could range from: leaving the victim for another lover, humiliating the victim
in public, blatantly ignoring the partner for a long period of time,
being physically aggressive and a whole range of other demeaning behaviors to communicate
to the victim that he or she is no longer important.
Although, "normal" relationships can end in a similar this manner as well,
the difference is that the narcissist often makes it clear he or she intends to hurt you
by giving you the silent treatment, spreading rumors about you,
cheating on you, insulting you and disrespecting you during the discard phase.
Unlike "normal" partners, they ensure that you never have closure, and if you decide
to leave them, they might decide to stalk you to show that they still have control.
Number 2.
Gaslighting.
While healthy relationships have room for respectful disagreement and consideration
of one's feelings, with the narcissist, gaslighting and constant
emotional invalidation become the norm.
Gaslighting is a technique abusers use to convince you that your perception of the abuse
is inaccurate.
During the devaluation and discard phases, the narcissist will often invalidate and criticize
your emotions, and displace any blame of his or her abuse
as your fault.
Frequent use of phrases such as, "You provoked me," "You're too sensitive," "I
never said that," or, "You're taking things too seriously" after the narcissists'
abusive outbursts are common and are used to gaslight you into thinking that the abuse
is indeed your fault or that it never even took place.
Narcissists are masters of making you doubt yourself and the abuse.
This is why victims so often suffer even after the ending of a relationship with a narcissist,
because the emotional invalidation they received from the narcissist made them feel powerless
in their agency and perceptions.
This self-doubt enables them to stay within abusive relationships even when it's clear
that the relationship is a toxic one, because they are led to mistrust their own
instincts and interpretations of events.
Number 3.
Smear campaigns.
Narcissists keep harems because they love to have their egos stroked,
they need constant validation from the outside world to confirm their grandiose sense of
self-importance, and fulfill their need for excessive admiration.
This is why they are clever chameleons who are also people-pleasers,
morphing into whatever personality suits them in situations with different types of people
to get what they want.
Beware of people who seem to shape-shift suddenly before your eyes into different personas,
this is a red flag that they are not authentic in their interactions with you and others.
It is no surprise, then, that the narcissist will probably begin a smear campaign against
you not too long after the discard phase, in order to paint you as the unstable one,
and that this is usually successful with the narcissist's support network which also
tends to consist of other narcissists, people-pleasers, empaths, as well as people
who are easily charmed.
This smear campaign is used to accomplish three things:
1) it depicts you as the abuser or unstable person and deflects your accusations of abuse;
2) it provokes you into responding, thus proving your instability to others when trying to
argue his or her depiction of you; 3) serves as a hoovering technique in which
the narcissist seeks to pull you back into the trauma of the relationship as you struggle
to reconcile the rumors about you with who you actually are by speaking out against the
accusations.
The only way to not get pulled into this tactic is by going full No Contact with both the
narcissist and his or her harem.
Number 4.
Triangulation.
Healthy relationships thrive on security; unhealthy ones are filled with provocation,
uncertainty and infidelity.
Narcissists like to manufacture love triangles and bring in the opinions of others to validate
their point of view.
They do this to an excessive extent in order to play puppeteer to your emotions.
In the book Psychopath Free by Peace, the method of triangulation is discussed as a
popular way the narcissist maintains control over your emotions.
Triangulation consists of bringing the presence of another person into the dynamic of the
relationship, whether it be an ex-lover, a current mistress,
a relative, or a complete stranger.
This triangulation can take place over social media, in person, or even through the narcissist's
own verbal accounts of the other woman or man.
The narcissist relies on jealousy as a powerful emotion that can cause you to compete for
his or her affections, so, provocative statements like, "I wish
you'd be more like her," or, "He wants me back into his life, I don't know what
to do", are designed to trigger the abuse victim into competing and feeling insecure
about his or her position in the narcissist's life.
Unlike healthy relationships where jealousy is communicated and dealt with in a productive
manner, the narcissist will belittle your feelings
and continue inappropriate flirtations and affairs without a second thought.
Triangulation is the way the narcissist maintains control and keeps you in check,
you're so busy competing for his or her attention that you're less likely to be
focusing on the red flags within the relationship, or looking for ways to get out of the relationship.
Number 5.
The false self and the true self.
The narcissist hides behind the armor of a "false self,"
a construct of qualities and traits that he or she usually presents to the outside world
to gain admiration and attention.
Due to this armor, you are unlikely to comprehend the full extent of a narcissist's inhumanity
and lack of empathy until you are in the discard phase.
This can make it difficult to pinpoint who the narcissistic abuser truly is, the sweet,
charming and seemingly remorseful person that appears shortly after the abuse,
or the abusive partner who ridicules, invalidates and belittles you on a daily basis?
You suffer a great deal of cognitive dissonance trying to reconcile the illusion the narcissist
first presented to you with the tormenting behaviors he or she subjects you to.
In order to cope with this cognitive dissonance, you might blame yourself for his or her abusive
behavior and attempt to "improve" yourself when you have done nothing wrong,
just to uphold your belief in the narcissist's false self during the devaluation phase.
During the discard phase, the narcissist reveals the true self and you get a glimpse of the
abuser that was lurking within all along.
You bear witness to his or her cold, callous indifference as you are discarded.
This is as close you will ever get to seeing the narcissist's true self.
The manipulative, conniving charm that existed in the beginning is no more, instead, it is
replaced by the genuine contempt that the narcissist felt for you all along.
See, narcissists don't truly feel empathy for others, so during the discard phase,
they often feel absolutely nothing for you except the excitement of having exhausted
another source of supply.
You were just another source of narcissistic supply, so do not fool yourself into thinking
that the magical connection that existed in the beginning was in any way real.
It was an illusion, much like the identity of the narcissist was an illusion.
It is time to pick up the pieces, go No Contact, heal, and move forward.
You were not only a victim of narcissistic abuse, but a survivor.
Owning this dual status as both victim and survivor permits you to own your agency after
the abuse and to live the life you were meant to lead,
one filled with self-care, self-love, respect, and compassion.
Well, that's the sneaky things narcissists do to take advantage of you.
Really cool information isn't it.

The pages are finished, so now I can put everything together.
We are going to adhere the 6 pages onto the binding.
But first, we are going to cut off the edges of the hinges.
Next, we put double sided tape on both sides of the hinges.
Then we take out the tag of our pocket page.
Next, we are going to glue the left side of the page onto our binding.
We repeat this with the other pages, but first, we take off the protecitve film.
And the we adhere the page onto the binding.
Make sure everything is even and then press it to the hinge.
We repeat this with the other pages.
Now, we are going to glue the design paper onto our cover.
I already cut out the paper, colored the edges and put tape at the back of the paper.
When everything is attached, we can embellish the album cover.
And then we are finished.

First Ever FIFA Mobile 18 Pack Opening! Huge Double Elite Pulls in FIFA Mobile Season 2! - Duration: 16:04.
Ah right, how's it goin stopde nation? It is time for some FIFA Mobile 18
content to hit the channel, so it is the first time we've seen some FIFA mobile 18 content on this channel
We're starting it off the way we got to start off. With some pack openings
I know you guys want to see the pack animations. I was super excited the first time I saw it
They are so cool this season. So amazing
I'm really excited to share that with you and show it to you
And then we're gonna do some live reactions to some of these packs
We've some pack battles from the capture event
Down in Vancouver so first off a huge shout out to the game changers program
And everybody on the FIFA mobile team for flying this down and putting us up in some hotels down there
So we could pre-record you some of this footage
And get to show you a whole bunch of awesome things and awesome features that they have in
This game and the other thing is so this is on a pre build of it
So it may be a little bit different than the actual game
Stuff like we really don't have a million FIFA cash
I wish I had a million FIFA cash, but we're just opening up packs going through it
Just so we can show you some of the different features and some of the cool things that are going on in this game
So let's jump into it though, and let's have some fun
All right, so if we go to this we're loading up our map we go into our store
You see all the different packs that we have to open first
So we'll just open up an All Pro pack
And as we go through this you can see each time you click it it actually brings up the next card, so
Instead of going all of them at once you actually just tap it to get the next cards
And it gives you all the information about the card. The player, where they're from, the skill boost right beside it
So really cool with that. I kind of like that little feature as you basically just tap tap tap there
You can reveal all if you don't want to do it
But I don't know I kind of like that anticipation of what's to come next
And everything like that so you can see
It does all of our a different skill boosts and stuff first. After we can click on the player
We can see all the different stats of the player like full stats of player all at once and the skill boots we can see
Right from there what they're gonna boost, who they're gonna boost, and everything like that
Which is really neat kind of featuring that. And then at the end it shows
Everything that came in there. It also shows us if you look on that screen what's possible to pull so here
we can see the different skill boosts that can be pulled out of this pack the
Possibilities in the previous one you saw we could pull up Gold's we saw a couple of rares and kind of give
an idea
and then here we get into the big packs and I want to show you this
One because this is really cool. So we go into this pack
We go all the way to the end and the last one out pops
An elite, and look at that. The side just like goes and expands. You don't know who it's gonna be it brings such
Hype about it, and it wasn't just an accident that it was at the end
That's actually how it's gonna be. It's all random at the start, but your last cards are the elites
And why that's really cool is this. You can see we have one card left
So we know the next card is gonna be an elite we get hyped!
Pumped about it, and we're like okay
Who's it gonna be! So it's not necessarily gonna be higher than this card
But it will be all your elites at the very end of the pack which is kind of like building up what the
Final elite is gonna be and we get ourselves Wow an 80 overall. So it didn't get better for us than the first one
But it was really cool to see that happens, so I'm excited for this. Let's go into it though
Let's do some live reactions, and some live pack battles of these epic new packs!
We're gonna open some packs right now, and we're gonna see what is inside
We got a bunch of people around us opening packs. There you go Dhitman
Oh, let's listen to the crowd go wild listening to our packs
It was really loud here like a second ago, and as soon as we started recording everyone was quiet
Which is sweet, but also super awkward
so
Here we go first premium pack
That we've ever got on this one. It's gonna be no elites alright. It looks like it's going. Oh, it's done
I thought it was like highest to lowest. It is going randomly with here, so we still could pull nothing
But 10 Gold is better than 10 Silver's I suppose. On to the next premium pack!
Come on elite elite no elites zero elites again
But I do really love the pack animation on this and I actually like the pack art with Deli Ali on the pack
Going onto our next one
Noobkill got an elite. I'm getting nothing. Noobkill come over here open one of these packs and get me an elite
All right here we go this one is going to be if you can pull an elite on this first pack
I will give you pack king all right. Here we go guys. We're gonna get some red paint here you already know
Let's get it. I like the animation this year. I like the animation. I think it's very sweet
Yeah, can we get some fire some fire five more cards come on come on
You're actually pretty garbage at this. Oh my goodness
Get out of here. I am pretty sure he just lied about getting an elite over there
We'll see if we get an elite on this one then maybe we need to bring in some other talent to open up some packs
another awful pack. All 70s
Beside us DHitman thinks he can get the elite so you see that is apparently possible just not for us
Get over here hitman show me, show me an elite on this one. Ready for this. I'm ready for this all right all right
About to pull some fire right now. Oh yes, It is not an elite, but he just pulled Aaron Ramsey
All right the last one
All right no elites
But he did get his Aaron Ramsey, which is basically better than an elite because we will level him up to be an elite
Very nice! Did somebody say no?!
Ramsey's a legend, thank you very much
Oh what and then we get Wilshire right after we're getting some great Arsenal players our full arsenal team is coming
It's going very slow, which means we must be getting something good right now
Very optimistic yeah, oh yes
There you go, we got Bruma
All right here we go we got our second guest of pack battles. We lost the first one to hitman
How do you feel like you're gonna lose in this one?
oh
My bad
Oh, yes, so you would probably beat me at vs attack
But I don't know I I think my luck is on this one
Do you want to go first or second? Winners go first all right.
so that was really sneaky, but I appreciate that you're still gonna lose anyway, so
74 so yeah, we'll say it's not good at all not a good start at all not a good start
So whatever new pack?
Yeah, that's true. You can't do worse than that 74 overall I think we're pretty much guaranteed. Oh 78 number one
Yeah, so the first round is definitely gonna
Go to us as we get nothing after that but 7 8 is all we need to win that one. You're up for round two.
see
78 good stop
77 7-6 7-2
78 I need alone I need
This is the very good stuff they say
It's the red color. I'm pulling the master. We're pulling the master here
Let's see we gotta get I gotta get to the end here. This is it this is it now.
Ok so we say that makes it two- one. I'll take it
No I
Gotta pick up in the backstretch so here we go
I mean, I think I could beat the 76
I think I know I could beat 76 I can't lose twice in a row if I lose twice in a row. That's just
That's though, not a good start alright. We need to take the lead here. We need an elite
three, two, one there we go. Joe Biline takes it three to none
What are we going to do?
You know I could start off from seeing the comfort of others, but there has been no elite to anyone
Yeah, one's gonna come sooner. Yeah. We gotta get him to beat 79
I think I'm done. It's a shame. I think it's no elite here.
This is the round we do it. 76. There's gonna be like five elites in this pack. I can feel it
You imagine you look at five and all of a sudden an elite pops up. You're like this is gonna be the greatest pack ever
Three-one three-one
So three one is normally a good place to be But the Warriors blew a 3-1
So we don't want to look too confident, yeah
Thankfully there's the Warriors 2017
take that. Hopefully because we're warriors 2017. Not 2016
I'm thinking I've got oh, and there's 75 Chambers so Stopde likes this pack.
This is a great value to you, except that you've just lost around yes
Arsenal is gonna be your demise that's funny
But I don't know I think I can do this. I don't think the Arsenal players would really be my demise
We can beat the Arsenal team we can beat the Arsenal
78 to tie right?
so
There you go like a double one
Yeah, so pretty sure I am I gonna to be Warriors style here. No hopefully no
We're gonna start 79 good start a good start good start. We got a double elite this
Yeah, I need an elite
You do need an elite to win. We need see it. some are still in there and
74 -, I feel like
This round, yeah, I feel like I could win, but never pull an elite
And if I win this without getting an elite, hopefully I'm going to at least finish on an elite
Yeah, that's pretty bad to win it and not get an elite. 77 It's gonna scope for improvement yes
Oh
Come on
74
77
77 all right 77 it might be that I can beat that I can do that
I got to stay in this we got to get it settled
that
they're
All right 76. I don't know what I need. 78 right? all right!
Thiago there you go
So what's up four three. Four three, four three, four three? This is where it's this is where it happens
This is where I have to to come back right now, so you may be winning, but I pulled more elites
High 76
All right, we can do this. I think I can. I can tie it up on here
If you win on a 76... Oh 79 yes, there you go
We're going to the big round we're going to the final round can we get another elite? No Elites.. all right
I feel like the winners gonna be an elite. It's gonna take an elite to win it
Yeah. Let's change the rules
- so the next person to pull an elite wins,
Yeah, all right. Yeah, so first elite is the winner
oh Yeah and if we both pack and elite whoever gets the higher elite
Yeah, I haven't got a single elite.
I
You are due though
The song 78 lots of 70s whenever I get a lot 70 or 72s that is an elite, so I know it's happening now
Now last one is so intense.
Oh, and that's a wicked pack
Here we go this is the one it's been like five packs and no elites. 78 is not it. Oh, that's gonna
Make it difficult to get an elite on here, but we are going. Yeah, it's nice
We're gonna have to enlist the help ...
Here we go
Seventy eight seventy seventy okay, this is this is setting up perfectly . I send some help for an elite here we go
I'm getting this we should
Be here we could be here all night. We've been doing this for three hours
We just cut it out... Just kidding
Good job we have got like a million FIFA Points to use.
It's looking like it's not gonna happen alright, but it's got to be this
It's got to be this one
And I got this Oh
79 that's not a good start for an elite. Two left, one left
Decent pack but no elites. Yeah,
You still haven't got a single elite at all although I got it on mine. Oh, yeah?
Hey hey he's got footage alright, so go to his channel and we'll make sure he's not lying
And let him know that we're gonna win this pack battle right here. This is the elite to win it?
This is gonna be the biggest come-from-behind loss since..
The Atlanta Falcons. There you go that is much more recent.
Hopefully that's not gonna be the case though and this is gonna be a rewrite history where the falcons can get hold on to that
lead oh, yeah
Clickbait title right there we write history
In a pack battle
No elites in probably 20 packs after this. We'll probably just get cut half of this out
78 it's got to be this one.. two... one...
You know what
I'm gonna do a reveal all. You're gonna do a reveal all pack? I respect that, I respect that reveal all
Are you kidding me ah!
I still that chance I still got a chance. Should I reveal all too?
No. I don't dare. I don't dare actually. I like that. That was kind of fun. Let's do it reveal all
yes, I
Am 0 and 2 on my own channel
Yeah, we're gonna have to find somebody I could beat. That could be the only person
I know that we could easily beat is noobkill. So I will try to bring him over here
He heard that! But thanks Joe for stopping by here. It has been a pleasure! Stopde Out

What is Polarizer or Polarizing Filter | Photography tip #7 - Duration: 2:13.
Hello and welcome to GMax Studios! Today we are going to talk about what is a polarizer or
polarizing filter, what it does and how can it improve your photography.
What the polarizing filter basically does is cut the glare or reflection coming into the
camera thereby making your picture clearer. So these are some photographs
under the glass top of my table and you can see that there is a pretty strong
reflection on them. Now as we put the polarizing filter and as we turn the
ring, you can see the reflection slowly decreasing. Almost to the point where it
is non-existent.
The same thing from another angle.
A lot of people use it to shoot landscapes
to cut out the atmospheric glare or glare coming from water bodies but a lot of
people use them for portraits as well. Though the use of polarizers is not
really popular while taking portraits but you can see that with the use of a
polarizer how the highlights on the hair get cut out and how the highlights on
the leaves behind the subject also get cut out... Almost as if somebody has put a
diffuser.
Let's see this again! T his is with a polarizing filter and this, without!
To know more about filters watch this video and don't forget to subscribe

Volvo Trucks - A jaw-dropping tribute to a Dutch folk singer legend – "Welcome to my cab – light" - Duration: 1:19.
Welcome to Toon Meesters' cab,
a customised Volvo FH from 2015,
with I-Shift Dual Clutch and 500 horsepower.
As you can see, Toon has taken styling to another level on his truck.
It's a tribute to the famous Dutch folk singer André Hazes.
Toon always drives with André's music playing in the cab.
He's a huge fan and started listening to his music more than 30 years ago.
The paintings of André, together with some of his most famous song titles,
took six weeks to complete.
Just look at that stunning artwork.
The red bullbar is customised,
and the eye-catching colour scheme also extends to the interior.
A red steering wheel, a painted dashboard and leather seats
are topped off with red LED lights in the ceiling.
Toon's favourite painting of André is the one inside the cab.
With this red beauty of a truck, the Dutch legend most definitely lives on.

Are you getting smashed on Eggnog
and trying to snog your boss?
it must be Christmas.
And bells and snow and mistletoe,
chestnuts, fire and logs.
[EVERYBODY!] Santa, Rudolph, Jesus too!
Hugs and puppy dogs.
Every Christmas cliché done,
on that you can rely...
That special time of year again

[ENG] BTS 'LOVE MYSELF' UNICEF Press Conference #7 (final): BTS talk about fundraising - Duration: 3:07.
SG: Hello
RP: I saw that you were making a fund
RP: And that you will donate 500,000,000 won
RP: I would like to ask how you set up the amount of money and decided to donate
RP: And of course the campaign is meaningful by itself but I wonder how how much money you expect from the donation
BPD: I will answer to that question first, my apologies
BPD: I feel like I'm stealing the opportunity to answer
BPD: First of all,
BPD: We did not determined the amount of money as 500,000,000 won in the beginning
BPD: We discussed a lot and heard opinions of others
BPD: While we were starting the fundraising, we Big Hit Ent and BTS decided to start it with our donation that would be valuable
BPD: We don't think fundraising is not the only meaning that "Love Myself" has
BPD: First of all, what we would like to do the most is, not only musical activities but through this kind of campaigns, through various media, through various channels, we would like to convey our messages
BPD: Starting from the young generation who support us, we hope them to recover their minds and self-esteem that were wounded by the current excessive competition and failure and make a warmer, mature society
BPD: So there's the fundraising as part of the realization of it
BPD: And in the future, through various opportunities, we are preparing campaigns where not just our fans but also the so-called public, everyone who is interested in social issues regarding adolescents and children, could join freely in the ways they want
BPD: So I think the amount of donation will be determined through such processes
BPD: But as I mentioned earlier, the amount of money doesn't give meanings or values
BPD: So we didn't set up any goals for the amount of donation money
BPD: Just like they enjoy our music, we would appreciate if you joyfully join this campaign
SG: Yes, really, he mentioned everything that I wanted to say
SG: We also haven't thought of the amount of money
SG: We thought it was one way to do something joyful with our fans through such nice campaign
SG: And the first goal is to get more attention from many people
SG: So we haven't thought of the amount of money
SG: We just hope that many people could show their interest and love in diverse ways as we do
MC: If you don't have questions anymore, we will finish the Q&A session

Your Green Card Marriage Interview: 12 Questions You Must Know (Part 1) - Duration: 9:45.
Hey, today, what we want to do is talk about green card marriage interview questions.
A lot of people come up to me and they say that
"Look, getting a green card through marriage is the easiest path to permanent residency."
And well that may be true, it's not a simple path.
The biggest concern is what happens at the interview.
"What will I be asked?" That's what we'll going to learn today.
Today, we're going to discuss the various topics,
the various kinds of topics that you might be asked at your green card interview.
But first let me review with you a few preliminary matters.
Normally, the government is going to review your application for marriage fraud.
That's just automatic. Okay?
But in most cases, they don't schedule a specific interview to go through items where
they could be exposing inconsistencies between you and your spouse.
But if they spot something in your application, red flags, then we could have some issues.
And some of the red flags you might not think seem fair,
but the government seems to think that they are viable areas to look at.
For instance, if you have a marriage of individuals from different races,
they are going to scrutinize that a little tougher.
If you have individuals with a wide age variation between the husband and wife, who is 20 - 30 years older
or younger than the other spouse, then that could be a problem.
Then there's also targeted nationalities. Targeted nationalities could be a real issue.
There are other issues: trial separations, property. We're going to go into those. Okay?
Now, note this. This is video number 1. This is lesson number 1.
We are only going to cover four topics because this is a pretty tough area to cover.
I don't want you to be sitting around having to watch a video of long duration,
in order to understand what's going on.
So we're going to go through some of the issues here real quickly
that I am going to touch on and hopefully help you prepare for your own green card interview.
First question is how you met. When did you meet your spouse?
When did you guys first stare in each other's eyes and fall in love? Who was there?
Who was there at the meeting? They'll ask you who was there at the interview.
Where were you at? Was it day? Was it evening? They're going to ask you questions like that.
Now, I'd like to say that over the course of the next three videos,
you are going to get a complete guide to permanent residency marriage interview questions.
But that is absolutely impossible.
For every question that I share with you here, there are at least three times that amount that
I can think of in my own mind that they might ask you.
So where did you meet? Did you meet at a party?
Did you meet in a house with some friends? Were you introduced maybe at school?
How long have you known each other? And then how long after that did you start dating?
How long after that did you guys become serious about each other? Who proposed?
Those are the types of questions.
Simple stuff really. If you're really married, simple stuff, right?
Not if you've been married for a long time, I mean, that's the stuff you kind of forget.
Let's go to employment. The issues of employment. Where do you work? Easy question.
How much do you earn or your spouse earn? Where does your spouse work? Easy questions, right?
Do you know your spouse's boss?
Have you been to any parties at your spouse's company during Christmas or any holiday?
Have you met any of his co-workers? Oh, what's your spouse's wages? Or how are you paid?
Direct deposit? Deposit into an account? And did you get any bonuses?
What about last year, did either one of you get a bonus?
They are not going to ask you, did either one of you get a bonus; they are going to ask you first about you.
Then they're going to ask you about him and then when you go - or her – and then
when you go to the interview, they're going to separate you.
You will be in separate rooms. If your case goes this far, you'll be separated and when they separate you,
they're going to ask you about her and him, you and your spouse. They are going to ask you about,
they are going to separate you, and they're going to see what kind of answers you've given.
They're comparing.
Because if you don't give similar answers - they don't have to be exactly alike - but they
should be similar enough that they can tell that,
"Well, you guys really know each other. You are a real couple."
If you can't get that out of them, you're in trouble.
As I shared in a previous video, when I was as a rookie attorney,
you know, less than a year in practice, I was duped by a couple, and I swore to myself
that that would never happen again.
I was furious at the end of that. I was furious. I was furious that I didn't catch the warning signs.
But that's how you learn and you get better.
I had to admit at that moment I was like, "Boy, did you really go to Law School, buddy?
I mean that was, you know, you should have spotted some of the signs I think."
But being a rookie and it was no harm, no foul.
They did not go through with whatever they were trying to pull off and they understood, "Hey, we really goofed."
And I don't really know what happened to the couple because they disappeared.
But don't try fraud. That's the one thing I'm trying to point out here.
Okay, issue number 3 that you might want to think about is your current home.
When did you guys move in there? Oh what colors are there?
Oh, and the walls in your bathroom, what color are they? How many bathrooms are there?
What about the kitchen? Do you have curtains? What colors are the curtains?
What about the living room? Do you have curtains in there?
Do you have carpet in there? What color are they? Easy stuff. Easy stuff. If you are a real couple. Okay?
But that's not always the case. And that's why they do these interviews.
They're going to weed you out if you're trying to perpetuate a fraud. And that's good.
That's good because immigrants do not need the negative publicity from those fraud artists
that are trying to make money off unsuspecting individuals from other countries.
And a lot of times, that's what happens. People are told that,
"Hey we can pull this off, and you can get a green card."
No, no, don't go in that direction.
And you may want to check out some of my other videos that I posted on fraud because it's a serious problem.
Okay, item number 4. I know, this sounds almost like a video on fraud, huh? I'm just kidding.
I mean I'm really talking about interview questions, but the reason they do this is to prevent marriage fraud.
They don't want to give green cards to couples that are not bona fide,
that are not legitimate, that are not real, that their marriages are not real.
Special days and vacations. What is the biggest holiday for your family?
Where do you celebrate it at? When was the last time you went to watch a movie?
What did you watch? Where did you take a vacation?
Have you taken a vacation since you got married?
Where did you go? Did you take pictures?
And what special events, did you go to a concert, when you were there?
Did you go to a baseball game, a basketball game?
Did you go to a night club? Did you go to a nice restaurant?
Hey those are things that you should know. And they are ripe for questioning.
You have to know.
You have to sit down and think about the things that you might be asked,
to compare notes because sometime you guys might not recall as readily.
Both of you may not recall and that could create a problem.
Because that will look like you're perpetuating a fraud. You don't want that.
You want to think about your life.
And those are really, really what they look for, is one, they are looking for your relationship history.
Your history of relationship. They want to make sure that it's a real relationship.
They're looking at your recent history together. Do you have a history together?
Are you really a couple? And they take it from there.
Because look, they want to make sure that if they give someone a green card
based on the marriage, that it is a real marriage.
And that's perfectly understandable.

Antonín Dvořák: de optimistische treinspotter - Duration: 11:49.
Antonín Dvorák was one of the biggest composers of his time.
But he would have given up all his symphonies
if he could have been the one to invent the locomotive.
He said so himself.
Dvorák had a great deal of passion for trains and technology.
You can hear that wonder, belief in the future
and love of life in his beautiful music.
Antonín Dvorák The optimistic trainspotter
Dvorák was a master composer of catchy and optimistic melodies,
melodies that invoke entire worlds. Take his cello concerto, for example.
Or the finale of his ninth symphony.
Or his violin concerto.
Dvorák's music has certainly left its mark.
But how did it all begin?
Antonín Dvorák was born in 1841,
the eldest son in a butcher's family.
But he would never become a butcher.
He was bursting with musical talent.
His music teacher, Antonín Liehmann, had one message for Dvorák's father:
Young Antonín must and will become a professional musician.
At age 16, he headed to the big city, Prague,
to study at the organ school there.
Two years later, Dvorák graduated and had to start working right away.
His dad's business was struggling. His allowance was limited.
So, he worked as a violin player in restaurants and cafés,
and at parties, with a small orchestra, which gained renown.
Thanks to that, Dvorák found a position at the Prague theater.
For nine years, he would play violin there,
playing the biggest operas,
and playing under famous conductors, like Richard Wagner
and his compatriot Bedrich Smetana.
All those operas inspired Dvorák to begin composing himself.
He was a perfectionist, quick to discard things and start over.
But when he was 19, he dared to reveal one of his pieces,
his first string quartet.
String Quartet No. 1- 1862
His first symphony and his first opera, Alfred, soon followed.
In 1874, at 33 years of age,
Dvorák, as a composer, was still unknown abroad.
He wanted to change that. So, what did he do?
He competed in the Austrian State Prize for Composition.
And guess what? He won.
He competed again in 1877 and won again,
because everyone was ecstatic about his Moravian Duets.
I understand why.
Johannes Brahms sat on the jury,
and he was greatly impressed by Dvorák.
Brahms put Dvorák in touch with his publisher, Fritz Simrock.
The publisher immediately put Dvorák to work
composing something in Brahms's Hungarian style, namely...
And Dvorák presented the new score:
not the Hungarian, but the Slavonic Dances.
It was a bullseye.
People flooded German music stores, as everyone wanted the Dances
by the as yet undiscovered Czech composer.
Dvorák's career was taking off, but his private life was troubled.
Dvorák lost three children in a short space of time.
Music spontaneously flowed onto the page,
in a very serene and symbolic piece: Stabat Mater.
Of course, it's a sad story, but an impressive one too,
because Stabat Mater was Dvorák's breakthrough in London.
He conducted in the Royal Albert Hall
and wrote a few more gems, like his seventh symphony.
And an eerily beautiful requiem.
Dvorák also had merchandizing.
You could buy cigarettes with his face on the pack
or even Dvorák walking sticks.
So, his international career had begun.
Dvorák was the man with a love of life and optimism,
who believed in the future.
Not just the future of music, but of technological advances.
They fascinated him immensely.
That showed in his hobby: Dvorák was a trainspotter.
His obsession went so far as to cause him to take note
of which trains went through Prague's station.
Not just which train, but also the time of day and number of cars.
Dvorák looked ahead to the future, but he also looked back.
In Dvorák's time, it was fashionable to incorporate Gypsy music
and folk elements in your score,
to contribute to your country's culture.
Dvorák did it, too. For example, listen to his Gypsy Songs.
Gypsy Songs - 1880
In that way, Dvorák joined the Czech trend toward nationalism at the time.
Czechs were searching
for a new linguistic, cultural and historical identity.
Czech music was embodied by three musicians:
Leos Janácek,
Bedrich Smetana
and Antonín Dvorák.
Dvorák was invaluable in helping shape the new Czech nationalism.
He took the idea of believing in the future
without forgetting your roots to the U.S.
Dvorák went to the U.S. because of Jeanette Thurber,
a wealthy American who wanted to invest in music.
She wanted to set up a new conservatory in New York,
for men and women, black and white alike.
She asked Dvorák to be the director.
Dvorák had but one task in the United States:
contributing to American music culture.
Dvorák had only one solution for it:
using Afro-American melodies and Native American music.
You can hear that in his ninth symphony,
which is fittingly called From the New World.
He lived well in the U.S.
He had a very nice house and earned 15,000 dollars a year.
He woke up at 6:00 every morning and went for a walk in Central Park
or to the port, where he was more a boatspotter than a trainspotter.
He had to work three hours a day, six days a week,
and he got four months of vacation each year.
In the USA, Dvorák composed beautiful music. His ninth symphony.
Symphony No. 9- 1893
In the town of Spillville, home to many Czech immigrants,
he wrote the beautiful "American" string quartet in just a few days.
American- 1893
His cello concerto also comes from the U.S.
He got his inspiration for it from Niagara Falls.
He saw them and said:
Good God, this will be a symphony in B minor.
But he went with a cello concerto.
Cello concerto - 1894
But the American dream would come to an end
for three reasons:
Jeanette Thurber, his patroness, ran out of money,
Dvorák was homesick for Bohemia
and Europe wanted Dvorák back.
On April 27, 1895,
Dvorák returned to his heart and soul: his Czech homeland.
Back home in Prague after his U.S. sojourn,
Dvorák began focusing on chamber music and operas.
One opera he wrote then is perhaps one of his most famous:
Rusalka.
Think of that beautiful aria, Song to the Moon.
After Symphony No. 9, Dvorák began working differently
with the symphony orchestra, now composing symphonic poems.
One of his symphonic poems was called The Wild Dove.
It's about a wild dove.
Apart from being a trainspotter, Dvorák was also a pigeon fancier.
The Wild Dove- 1896
But on May 1, 1904, he reached the end of the line.
After a Sunday lunch, Dvorák uttered the prophetic words:
I feel a bit dizzy. I'm going to lie down.
And Dvorák never got up again.
Prague mourned his death.
The National Theatre was draped in black.
A death mask was made, as well as a mold of his right hand,
with which he wrote so much lovely music.
Dvorák was incredibly important to Czech culture
and was loved by all.
It showed at his funeral. Thousands attended.
His coffin was driven through town in a gold carriage with six horses.
Everyone was there. From students with banners
showing titles of Dvorák's songs,
to the greatest Czech cultural figures.
His coffin had only one floral wreath, bearing these words:
To a beloved husband and loving father.
Klara Stay amazed.

Bryan Cranston: 'F**k You' To Anyone Who Wants Trump To Fail - Duration: 7:30.
ACTOR BRYAN CRANSTON WAS RATHER CRITICAL OF DONALD
TRUMP WHEN HE WAS A CANDIDATE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT BUT
WHAT DOES HE THINK ABOUT DONALD TRUMP TODAY?
RECENTLY THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER CAUGHT UP WITH HIM AND
DURING THE DISCUSSION HE SAID SOMETHING PRETTY
INTERESTING THAT I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE, EVEN THOSE WHO
HAVE BEEN CRITICAL OF TRUMP CAN GET BEHIND.
HERE'S WHAT HE HAD TO SAY.
WHAT, I ACTUALLY AGREE WITH HIM.
WHEN HE GOT INAUGURATED, I DID NO ONE HIM TO FAIL.
I THOUGHT MAYBE HE WILL SURPRISE US BECAUSE HE DID NOT STRIKE ME
AS SOMEONE WHO HAD AN IDEOLOGY DURING THE CAMPAIGN THAT HE
STRUCK ME AS SOMEONE WHO JUST WANTED TO WENT AND WOULD SAY
WHATEVER IT WOULD TAKE TO WIN BUT UNFORTUNATELY, I FEEL THAT
HE HAS FAILED US WITH A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT THINGS THAT HE HAS
DONE FROM HIS CHILDISH, JUVENILE BEHAVIOR ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO ALL
OF THIS HEALTHCARE STUFF TO THE TRANSGENDER BAN WHICH BY THE
WAY, SINCE IT'S BEEN A CRAZY NEWS WEEK WE DIDN'T GET TO THE
STORY BY A FEDERAL JUDGE BLOCKED A PORTION OF THAT AND ALL
THE OTHER THINGS START PRETTY SOON TAX CUTS FOR CORPORATIONS.
I DO NOT WANT HIM TO FAIL.
I WANTED TO SUCCEED BUT UNFORTUNATELY, WHAT I
PREDICT ACTUALLY HAPPENING OR WHAT I PREDICT ACTUALLY
HAPPEN AND WHAT I WANTED TO HAPPEN HAS NOT HAPPENED.
LET ME GO BOTH DEFEND AND DISAGREE WITH HIM.
1ST OF ALL, WHY MY DEFENDING THEM?
I LIKE HIM, I LOVE THEM AS AN ACTOR AND I AGREE WITH HIM
POLITICALLY.
HE EVEN SAID HE WOULD MOVE TO CANADA TRUMP 1.
THEY'LL SAY THAT, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO THAT AND OF
COURSE HE DIDN'T.
I WAS IN A CONVERSATION WITH HIM AND I WAS SO HAPPY.
I AM KEEPING A SUPER REAL ABOUT MY BIAS BUT MORE
IMPORTANTLY, I LIKE THE SENTIMENT.
I LIKE THE SENTIMENT THAT YOU WANT THE COMPANY COUNTRY TO
SUCCEED IN A MATTER WHO IS RIGHT THAT THE PART THAT I LOVE
ABOUT HIS IDEA IS IT IS NOT ABOUT YOUR EGO SO IF WE GET
TO A BETTER PLACE BUT YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT IT, THAT IS GREAT.
NO PROBLEM AT ALL.
I SAY THAT ALL THE TIME.
I MAKE PREDICTIONS ON AIR AND USUALLY THEIR DISASTROUS
AND I GO I HOPE I AM WRONG.
FROM TIME TO TIME OF COURSE I AM.
FOR EXAMPLE, ONE OF MY HOPEFUL PREDICTIONS ABOUT TRUMPET IT WAS
ABOUT THE ONLY ONE WAS THAT HE IS SO COUNTER INTUITIVE AND
UNPREDICTABLE THAT HE MIGHT ACTUALLY GET TO A DEAL
BETWEEN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE.
I'VE BEEN WRONG.
HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING ABOUT THAT AND IT IS VERY
UNLIKELY THAT HE WILL.
BUT KUSHNER HAS THAT UNLOCKED UP.
THAT'S RIGHT, THE PARTS I DISAGREE WITH.
THEY ARE PARTS I DEFINITELY HOPE HE FEELS THAT ENOUGH FEELING
FOR THE COUNTRY BUT FEELING WITH HIS AGENDA SO IF HE WANTS
GIANT TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH, WHICH HE DOES, MY ANSWER TO
THAT IS I WILL BE POLITE AND SAY HELL NO.
I HOPE HE FAILS DISASTROUSLY, EPICALLY ON THAT BECAUSE I
THINK CREATING A NEXT OR $2 BILLION IN DAY JUST SO THEY CAN
TRANSFER WELL TO THE TOP IS A DISASTROUS IDEA FOR THE COUNTRY.
IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR HIS AGENDA, IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR DONORS AND
IT WOULD BE TERRIBLE FOR THE COUNTRY SO ON THE OTHER HAND, I
HOPE THAT HE SUCCEEDS WITH NORTH KOREA.
IF HE FAILS WITH NORTH KOREA AND WITH STARTED DISASTROUS WHEN
MILLIONS OF PEOPLE DIE, I DON'T WANT TO BE RIGHT ABOUT THAT.
I'M NOT SAYING THAT THAT IS GOING TO HAVE BEEN, BUT WHICH
HIM, HE IS SO UNSTABLE THAT IT COULD HAPPEN AND I AM SCARED TO
DEATH THAT IS GOING TO HAPPENED I'VE SOMEHOW MIRACULOUSLY NOT
ONLY DOES HE NOT SCRUB NORTH KOREA BUT HE SOMEHOW TOPPLES KIM
JONG-IL AND WITHOUT HIS SHOP FIRED AND NORTH KOREA IS FREE, I
WOULD BE A STATIC AND GIVE HIM ALL THE CREDIT IN THE WORLD BUT
THE LAST PART OF THIS IS UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE HE IS A
GOOD GUY HE STILL THINKS THEY'RE HAVING A LEGITIMATE DEBATE.
IN CONGRESS AND THERE IS A DEBATE OF GOOD IDEAS
THERE'S A DEBATE ON SIZE.
NO, THERE'S CHECKS ON BOTH SIDES, CAMPAIGN CHECKS AND
INDEPENDENT EXPENDITURES THAT
I LIKE THAT LINE.
THANK YOU.
SO THERE IS, THE REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS, NOT THE VOTERS
WITH THE REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN A
DEBATE OR ANY OF THAT.
THERE'S NO EXCHANGE OF IDEAS HERE.
THEY ARE PAID, IT IS PRIVATE FINANCING FOR PRIVATE INTEREST.
THEY ARE PAID FOR THIS TAX CUTS IN THE DEREGULATION.
THEY JUST DEREGULATED THE BANK SO THEY COULD RIP OFF
CUSTOMERS AND NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH CLASS-ACTION LAWSUITS.
THAT'S GOING TO COST CUSTOMERS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS THAT.
I HOPE THEY FAIL SPECTACULARLY IN THAT.
UNFORTUNATELY, THEY ARE SUCCEEDING AND IT IS
HURTING THE ACTUAL AMERICAN CITIZENS.
YOU ARE WAY TOO NUANCED.
YOU ARE SO FUNNY.
IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU MEASURE SUCCESS AND
MY INTERPRETATION OF WHAT HE SAID WAS I HOPE GENERALLY
SPEAKING HE SUCCEEDS IN DOING THE RIGHT THING AND LEADING
THIS COUNTRY ON A BETTER PATH.
I DON'T THINK HE THOUGHT ABOUT ALL OF THE SPECIFIC
PROPOSALS AND HOPING THAT THE SPECIFIC PROPOSALS ACTUALLY
GET IMPLEMENTED BECAUSE LOOK, WHEN TRUMP WAS RUNNING, FOR
ME, I FELT LIKE A LOT OF THOSE PROPOSALS WERE JUST HOLLOW
BECAUSE HE HAD NO DETAILS.
HE WOULD JUST SAY THINGS THAT WERE INSANELY VAGUE AND HE WOULD
SOMETIMES I THINK PLAYED TO AN EVANGELICAL OR CONSERVATIVE
BASE AND I JUST I HE IS SAYING THE THINGS TO GET ELECTED.
HE'S NOT REALLY GOING TO DO I BUT NO, HE IS ACTUALLY
PUSHING FOR THE SPECIFIC PROPOSALS SO I AGREE WITH
YOU, I DON'T WANT THEM TO SUCCEED AND THE SPECIFIC
PROPOSALS AT LEAST IMPLEMENTING THEM BUT I THINK IF I AM
NOT MISTAKEN, CRANSTON JUST MEANS I HOPE HE SUCCEEDS
AND HE DOES THE RIGHT THING BUT IT IS UP FOR INTERPRETATION.
HE COMES OUT OF FROM THE RIGHT PLACE.
I'M ATTORNEY CRITICIZE THEM AND YOU ARE RIGHT, I AM BEING TOO
NUANCED, BRO BUT LAST THING ON THIS, UNFORTUNATELY IT IS
STILL A MISPLACED HOPE.
THERE IS NO SCENARIO IN WHICH DONALD TRUMP SEES THE LIGHT.
I HAVE DEFINITELY EXPERIENCED THAT FEELING OF DESPAIR.
IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
DIANE FEINSTEIN WAS REGIONALLY TALKING ABOUT I
THINK YOU COULD MAYBE TO RUN INTO SOME GOOD THINGS.
THERE IS NO TURNING AROUND, THERE ARE NO GOOD THINGS.
IF WE ARE WRONG ABOUT THAT, WONDERFUL BUT THAT IS VERY
UNLIKELY SO HIS HEART IS IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND I HOPE I'M WRONG
BUT TRUMP DOES NOT, IF YOU SUCCEEDS IN HIS POLICY
PROPOSALS THAT WILL BE NOTHING BUT TERRIBLE NEWS FOR AMERICA.

and playing under famous conductors, like Richard Wagner
and his compatriot Bedrich Smetana.

5 Sneaky Things Narcissists Do To Take Advantage Of You
Narcissists often use sneaky things in order to manipulate and taking advantage of people
around them.
If it's happening to you, then better to prepare everything before it can consume you even
more.
In this video, I'm going to share with you 5 sneaky things narcissists do to take advantage
of you.

1) it depicts you as the abuser or unstable person and deflects your accusations of abuse;
