In a recent interview with Yahoo!

Movies, Thor: Ragnarok writer Eric Pearson revealed that one planned scene was left on

the cutting room floor—it was a spaghetti joke, and it was pretty gross.

We can't count the number of times spaghetti has shown up as a gag in a movie or show.

Sometimes it's sweet, other times it's a little more disgusting.

But the cut scene in Thor: Ragnarok might have been the most disgusting of all.

Behind the scenes, the writers called it "the Noodle Worm Scene,'" which should tell you

how gross it was.

Pearson explained:

"It was an emotional check-in moment with Bruce Banner and Thor before the finale, with

Banner eating alien food and trying to be serious.

It [looks like] spaghetti, but then he realizes the thing he's eating is alive on the end."

Yup, in this case, "noodle worm" was entirely literal.

"Please, Nick, eat some busghetti."

"I didn't realize you enjoyed eating worms!"

So why was the scene cut?

Pearson went on to say:

"I spent so much time on it, and it just never made it in.

We thought it was this pivotal character moment, and it never had a place.

It crushed the momentum."

This scene marks yet another moment clipped from Thor: Ragnarok, which was originally

going to include a second major Thor villain and feature a flashback scene of a chubby

Thor and an emo Loki.

Maybe the "noodle worm" will still make an appearance in a future Thor movie, although

something tells us you'd never look at a plate of spaghetti the same way again.

15 Strangest Things Ever Found Frozen in Ice - Duration: 6:49.

• Where can you find a top-secret underground military base about to be exposed by melting

ice?

How did an entire forest end up buried under ice?

From prehistoric lifeforms to precious gemstones, here are 15 of the strangest things found

frozen in ice.

15 – 'Alien Eggs' • This is sort of like the ice equivalent

of crop circles.

A perfectly round mass of ice with some odd round holes appeared in Utah.

• There aren't any good explanations for the formation, but the one that the most people

use is "Alien eggs."

You be the judge.

14 – Pit of human bones • A frozen lake in Northern India holds

the bones of more than 200 dead human bodies.

• A British soldier on patrol during World War 2 found them, and only recently have researchers

figured out why.

• Apparently, those bodies date back to 850 AD, and because of cracks in the skulls,

the culprit is assumed to be a sudden freak hailstorm.

13 – Lake Vostok and its inhabitants • Lake Vostok, a subglacial lake in Antarctica,

is home to a number of organisms and bacteria that are completely unknown to researchers.

• Lake Vostok is thought to have been isolated from the surface for millions of years, and

the organisms found in it are about 80 to 90 percent foreign to any other creature.

• So they're practically alien lifeforms.

12 – Message in a bottle • In 1959, Paul T. Walker, an explorer and

scientist from Columbus, Ohio, left a message to take a simple measurement on Canada's

northernmost island.

• Shortly after, he suffered a massive stroke, and died weeks later.

• That simple message, left in a rock pile inside a bottle, were his last words, and

they weren't discovered until 2013 – 54 years later.

11 – Photos of a doomed expedition • In 1914, the Ross Sea Party set out to

establish supply depots for a cross-continental journey.

• The mission was a success, but not before they lost their ship and were stranded for

three years.

• 100 years later, film negatives from that expedition were recovered and restored.

It's the first time images emerged from the mission.

10 – Ice maiden • A mummified Incan woman from about 500

years ago was frozen and preserved so well, scientists were able to diagnose her with

a bacterial lung infection.

• The discovery has given researchers insight into the diseases of the past, and may help

them to safeguard against future diseases.

9 – Frozen Alaskan forest • It's kind of difficult to really grasp

the scale of an actual glacier.

So for reference, the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska is beginning to reveal a forest.

• Not individual trees.

An entire, actual forest.

• Those forests have remained frozen under the ice for what is estimated to be over 2,000

years.

8 – Methane and carbon dioxide deposits • There is a layer of methane and carbon

dioxide gas under the ice sheets at the poles.

• It's a very large layer, and the problem is that methane and carbon dioxide are two

of the main culprits of global warming.

• So there is a very real possibility that the current rate of global warming will result

in the release of even more gases from melting permafrost, further compounding the problem.

7 – Camp Century • Speaking of things revealed by global

warming, a top-secret military project in Greenland is likely to be exposed in the next

few years.

• Camp Century was built under the ice in Greenland, and the complex holds secrets we

still don't know about.

• The US government has already begun move top-secret materials out of the Cold War-era

base, in preparation for the day the melting ice exposes it.

6 – Siberian permafrost crater • The Batagaika crater wasn't formed by

any sort of impact.

It's a "megaslump" formed from melting permafrost.

• The area used to be a dense forest, but when the forest was cleared, the direct sunlight

caused the ground to melt, and sink as it became soft and wet.

5 – Precious gems • In 1966, an Air India Boeing 707 crashed

on the side of the highest peak in western Europe.

• But it wasn't until 2014 that an explorer discovered the site thoroughly enough to discover

a metal box holding over 100 precious gems.

• The gems were valued at about 240 thousand Euros.

4 – 32,000-year-old plants • An Ice Age squirrel is likely the reason

a seed cache was buried some 32 thousand years ago.

• Those seeds were found, completely frozen 124 feet under the Russian permafrost.

• The seeds were so perfectly preserved, the scientists got to work regenerating and

planting them.

• And sure enough, they were indeed able to grow a living plant from 32,000-year-old

seeds.

3 – Ice volcanoes • A series of massive craters in Siberia

used to be mountains of earth-covered ice.

As they warmed, gas filled into the cracks, until one day, they erupted.

• The eruptions not only decimated the ice mounds, the empty spaces where the gas used

to be are now massive craters filling with water.

• Scientists are in a hurry to study the craters now, because in a year or two, they

will likely become lakes that are completely filled with water.

2 – 12,000-year-old puppies • Russia has a lot of ice, which is probably

why they seem to be so good at finding things in ice.

In 2016, they found a puppy.

• A puppy from more than 12 thousand years ago.

• The puppy was preserved to the point of mummification in the ice, and even its brain

is about 80 percent preserved.

• The high level of brain preservation has made scientists consider the possibility of

cloning the now-extinct breed, like a canine Jurassic Park.

1 – Giant virus • One last find from Siberia, this is a

"giant virus" found in the permafrost.

• It's a prehistoric virus, about 30 thousand years old, and considered "giant" just

because of the size of the cell.

• Naturally, scientists want to re-animate this virus as well – but can't until they've

ensured it can't infect humans or animals.

• Maybe they ought to stop and think about whether they should.

actual organization within the vertical drawers so I'm gonna show you my

favorite which is the color-coded brad nail organizer and drawers. I'm also

going to show the sander and sandpaper organizer drawer. All the other tools

holders are basically the same as these, just a little bit of plywood enough to

hold the tools in place, but also let you lift them up and out when you need to use them. I also

made this so it's very easily adaptable, there's a little bit of room to grow in

there, and also all of these hangers are just screwed in from the back through

the sheet of plywood, if I need to move anything around or add in new tools.

Whatever Happened To Rebecca Black? - Duration: 5:34.

Back in 2011, a young girl named Rebecca Black became famous for all the wrong reasons.

An aspiring pop star, Black's life was changed forever when her mother paid a local recording

company $4,000 to write and produce a song and music video for the 13-year-old Californian.

The video for "Friday" went viral.

Millions mocked it.

As of the making of this video, it's been viewed more than 113 million times.

But Black isn't the same little girl from that heavily autotuned vanity project anymore

— she's working hard on turning her reputation around.

Here's a look at what she's been doing since her unlikely big break.

Worst song ever?

After "Friday" went viral, Black was swept up in a wave of hate, saying she felt shocked

by the cyberbullying.

"You're so fat, and you'll never be pretty, you suck at singing."

But those ugly online comments eventually intensified into genuine threats.

Police were called in to investigate a threatening email and phone call made to Ark Music Factory,

the company that created the song with Black, insisting that the video be taken down — or

else.

The threats didn't amount to anything, and Black's fortunes took a turn for the better

when she was invited to appear on Ryan Seacrest's radio show.

The American Idol host knew all about the pain that aspiring pop stars endure, and after

the interview, he told her he would set her up with a manager from an agency called DB

Entertainment.

Seacrest turned into something of a mentor for Black, even taking it upon himself to

set up a Twitter account for her and becoming her first follower.

"Friday" friends

A few months after "Friday" dropped, Black got the chance to appear in a video alongside

an artist with some genuine credibility.

Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" was the fifth single from her third studio album, and by

this stage in her career, Perry was already one of the biggest names in pop music.

Getting a cameo in the video was a really big deal for Black, who plays the host of

the video's blowout bash.

The following month, Perry surprised fans during a show in L.A. by bringing Black onto

the stage to perform a "Friday" duet.

Glee tribute

Countless popular parody versions of "Friday" appeared on YouTube in the weeks and months

after Black's auto-tuned ode to the weekend debuted.

But one of the most talked about covers of "Friday" was one that wasn't making fun of

Black.

Puck, Artie, and Sam performed a vamped-up version of the song during prom night on Season

2 of Glee.

"Kickin' in the front seat / Sittin' in the back seat / Gotta make my mind up / Which

seat can I take?"

So many people reportedly questioned the inclusion of the song that series co-creator Ryan Murphy

was forced to address the decision, telling The Hollywood Reporter,

"The show pays tribute to pop culture and, love it or hate it, that song is pop culture."

The inevitable "Saturday"

Things didn't work out for Black with DB Entertainment.

None of the follow-up tracks released online under the label's banner nabbed much attention,

negative or otherwise.

It wasn't until she decided to independently write a spiritual sequel to "Friday" that

folks began to remember her name.

"Saturday," featuring fellow YouTube musician Dave Days, poked fun at the song that made

Black infamous.Most critics were a little kinder to her song this time around, with

the Hollywood Reporter calling it a "passable piece of Radio Disney-esque pop."

Facing the haters

When she turned 15, Black felt comfortable enough to come face to face with the cyberbullies

of her past.

She told the New York Post that she shot an unaired TV episode where she sat down with

an adult woman who had insulted everything from Black's wardrobe to her physical appearance

in hateful comments.

"I spent the day with this woman who was twice my age.

She took on everything she didn't like about me—the jumpsuit I was wearing, my hair,

my face, everything.

All I could do was cry.

I was so worn down.

The woman looked at me and said, 'I honestly never considered the fact that you were a

real person.'"

Black learned to take the abuse in stride and even started reading people's awful comments

aloud in YouTube videos, just to prove that it was all meaningless to her now.

"It's been, like, three and a half years, I'm still here, I'm still singing.

You can say whatever you want about me, but I think I'm sticking around, so..."

Glamour girl

While she's remained a constant presence on YouTube, Black didn't return to the mainstream

spotlight until 2016, when she started turning up at events looking all grown up.

OK magazine did a "double take" when it spotted the 19-year-old gracing the red carpet at

the American Music Awards, calling Black a "total glamazon."

Cosmopolitan also picked up on Black's new style, praising what she wore to the 2016

Make-A-Wish Fashion Show in Los Angeles.

RE/BL with a cause

In September 2017, Black released her first EP, RE/BL, a collection of songs inspired

by the singer's trials and tribulations.

She told Refinery29,

"Every song has its own meaning, has its own story, has its own message and purpose."

"We all go through our own stories, we all deal with our issues…but what makes us all

the same is that none of us are living this perfect life that everyone thinks we are."

The lead single "Heart Full of Scars" surpassed 115,000 views within four weeks of being uploaded

to YouTube.

Black's sound had clearly matured.

She told PopCrush,

"I listen to a lot of indie music actually, and I like to bring things like that to my

music even more.

I also love electronic music, and I love EDM."

It seems highly unlikely that her new material will surpass her colossal debut release, at

least in terms of views, but Black wouldn't have it any other way.

The singer has made it clear that while she has evolved as an artist since "Friday" hysteria

gripped the world, she will never shy away from it.

"It's not something that I regret doing.

I have gotten so many opportunities and unbelievable chances and made so many amazing friends I

wouldn't have been able to without it."

Most of this year's National Football League controversy centers around former San Francisco

49ers backup quarterback's now famous choice to kneel for the National Anthem.

The action, widely regarded as disrespectful in every way, took off like wildfire, and

players league-wide have decided to join in, without a single team being spared.

However, even with the highly praised social justice warrior endorsed campaign started

by the now free agent Kaepernick, he can't seem to get signed to a team.

He can, however, get offers for other positions, including the leader of the Black Lives Matter

movement, a million dollar book deal, and last but not least, a GQ magazine cover.

This is probably the biggest deal so far since Kaepernick is being called GQ 2017's "Citizen

of the Year."

In other words, even though this former football player can't get a job in his profession,

has single-handedly brought the entire National Football League to the point of bankruptcy

and caused a rift between the league and Americans that might never be lifted, he made a symbolic

gesture, so that means he's super cool.

Bleacher Report brought the delightful details about GQ's spread to light:

"Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who remains unemployed due

(at least in part) to his protest of systemic racism during the national anthem, is GQ's

2017 Citizen of the Year.

Kaepernick, 30, did not speak to the magazine for an on-record interview but did pose for

photographs and helped provide GQ with confidantes to offer 'some rare insights into Colin

Kaepernick himself.'

He has not given an on-record interview during the entire 2017 NFL season despite still being

at the center of one of the year's biggest controversies."

This might not even seem like that big of a deal if you're unfamiliar with the context,

or the look that Kaepernick is sporting in the cover shoot.

The National Anthem Protest was started to try and combat "police brutality" in an

instance where the police were ruled to not actually be brutal.

Kaepernick's actions seemed less like the protest of someone wanting change, and more

like the sullen pout of someone who didn't get their way.

To make matters worse, the outfit that he chose to wear for the cover shoot is eerily

close to the iconic look that the Black Panther movement has always worn.

Everything right down the cut of the lapels could give you flashbacks to the heyday of

the destructive movement.

As time goes on, Kaepernick has seemed less interested in getting his day job back, and

more interested in hoarding up media attention and getting a payday out of the teams that

considered him ineligible to play

"Aside from his activism, the quarterback's most notable action this year was filing a

federal lawsuit against the NFL claiming the league colluded to not sign him.

Kaepernick threw for 2,241 yards and 16 touchdowns against four interceptions in 2016, numbers

that would make him an improvement over many quarterback situations around the NFL.

National anthem protests have been one of the prevailing narratives of the 2017 NFL

season, especially after President Donald Trump called on those kneeling to be 'fired

or suspended.'

The president's outcry led to the largest protest among NFL players in Week 3, and hundreds

of players have knelt during the anthem throughout the campaign.

Rapper J. Cole put his thoughts on Kaepernick's mindset in an extended quote to GQ:

You're talking about a guy in his athletic prime, who's lived his whole life dreaming

about playing football at a level that millions of kids dream to get to.

And in his first big season, he takes his team to within five yards of winning a Super

Bowl.

But then, at some point in time, he becomes conscious about what's happening in the

world.

Kaepernick has maintained he wants to continue his NFL career and has stayed in playing condition.

The Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens are the only teams that seriously considered

signing Kaepernick during the offseason.

Both teams signed quarterbacks with far lesser resumes than Kaepernick."

What the die-hard Kaepernick fans conveniently forget when they're slapping him on the

back, is that even though he might have had a few good runs, his former coaches have made

it clear that he isn't playing football because he's not good enough to be playing

football.

That, combined with the toxic divisiveness that he brings with him, means that the only

way Kaepernick will be making money off of football is by talking about football, not

playing it.

The national backlash associated with Kaepernick's actions are a classic example of how Americans

feel about the National Anthem and everything associated with it.

The media's immediate crowning of Kaepernick as a conquering hero because he couldn't

be bothered to show any respect is a classic example of how they feel about the anthem.

Feel free to pick a side, but when doing so, please remember that one side says that being

unemployed makes you a hero, and one side says that going to battle for your country

makes you a hero.

Take your pick.

Lifts and Levels: 6.5 BDS 2017 Sierra 2500HD - Duration: 6:00.

- Okay ready?

- Hey guys, Brad again, lifts and levels.

- You ready? You gotta say action.

- [Cameraman] Three, two, one.

- Hey guys, Brad here with custom offsets.

Got another episode of lifts and levels,

this one's gonna be a 6.5 inch BDS kit

for the 2011 and up GM 3/4 and one ton trucks.

(rap music)

It's gonna be called the non-torsion drop

or NTD kit, we'll get into that a little later.

Pretty special and it's pretty sweet

and these trucks ride awesome, Clay Matthews.

(cheering)

We gotta cut, now you messed me up.

All right, so like most of the other BDS kits,

we got some of the similar parts here,

I'm gonna run through them quick and then we're actually

gonna show them to you once they're installed

on the truck and it's up in the air

but I'm gonna run through them here.

You got your new force knuckles up front

which are gonna help lift the truck

and then you got your diff drops here,

diff braces, lower control, arm drop,

cross members, this kit has the optional,

the customer went with these optional recoil series

traction bars which are gonna help with the wheel hop

in the back of the truck but he did stick

with the standard and X2 series shocks,

no upgrade to the fox on this one and in the rear,

blocks in the rear come with the new U bolts

and everything for that, sway bar end link extensions

up front and then you can see here,

this is part of the magic here for the non-torsion drop kit,

we'll get into that more once it's installed on the truck.

Then you got your standard BDS skid plates

to protect everything once the diff's lowered

and all that, new brake lines as well

and then these brackets here are gonna be

for the traction bars and we'll show you

where they go once it's installed on the truck.

(upbeat music)

The differential we put in here.

- [Cameraman] Come on, I know that's not

the differential, three, two, let me check this.

- Oh my God.

All right guys, so we got this 6.5 inch lift installed now

and the truck's up in the air so you can take a look

at some of the components, like I said,

this is the BDS 6.5 inch and what you're

gonna see immediately is the skid plates.

BDS gives you the front splash guard

which replaces the factory plastic one,

the differential skid plate here

and that's because if you notice, the differential

is now hanging down below the cross member

and that's because of the differential drops

that they give you here, which you have to use

and drops the diff down and then they give you a skid plate

to protect it, right here's gonna be the lower control arm,

drop cross members, which are gonna drop

the lower control arms down, give you the nice ball joint

angle there as you can see, here's the new knuckles,

the BDS lift knuckles, installed as well as the new

extended sway bar end links and you can see

the new shocks up front, these are just the standard,

NX2 series shocks, nothing fancy and what else.

One of the nice things about the BDS kit

which most others don't do is they

give these nice, extended braided

braided stainless brake lines here

rather than just relocating the factory ones,

they actually give you completely new ones

which is nice, they give you just a little skid plate here

to protect the actuator and then one of the key things

to this system is right here, this is gonna be

part of the BDS's non-torsion drop system as you can see.

Factory, the torsion bar is mounted

and the lower control arm here in this pocket,

just simply raise the mounting point up here so it keeps

the torsion bar up, tucked away in the factory location

so it's not hanging down like you get

on some of the lower end kits, which is nice.

One of the nice things about this is they actually

move slightly the mounting position of where

the torsion bar mounts to the lower control arm here,

so it actually gives you a little more leverage

on the lower control arm so you don't need to use

as much spring reel aid to lift the truck,

so it'll give you a nice softer ride actually.

In the back, a customer just went with the standard blocks

on this one, so we got our standard lift blocks in the rear,

I think there's an alien spaceship landing around here,

I'm not sure, I just heard one.

We got the new lift blocks as well as the new U bolts,

top plates, they actually flip them.

This truck, it will be getting recoil traction bars.

They haven't been installed yet because this truck

actually has to be on the ground with all the weight on it

to do so, then we got the standard NX2 shocks

in the back here, what I was gonna say is,

they actually flip the U bolts here which is nice.

Factory, the plate's on the bottom here

and what happens is it fills up with dirt and stuff

and the dirt sits in the bottom of the plate

and actually corrodes the U bolts,

so they do the U bolt flip and they give you the top plates,

which is nice, that's pretty much gonna round out this kit.

This is the 6.5 inch BDS non-torsion drop kit.

This one fits 2011 and up GM 3/4 and one ton trucks.

Welcome back to my Dark Corner of this Sick World

'I like you.'

In 1974 Cathy Lee Crosby starred in TV pilot Wonder Woman

'Nobody can replace you'

Ooh that's unfortunate.

This version was inspired by a specific plotline in the comics in which Diana Prince has no powers

and instead uses martial arts.

All that makes her wonder woman is her sense of justice

'And there is the basic morality of right and wrong'

and...

'You see my plane is invisible'

But we don't even see that. I mean obviously we don't see it but - you know what I mean

'Even if I don't like it'

A brief prologue shows us Diana's origins

'The hope that your presence in the world of men will open closed eyes to the genuine value of women'

and she furthers this noble cause

'Don't forget to call to maintenance about the air conditioning'

by becoming a secretary

'What do you think D?'

'What can anyone think with that many lives in jeopardy?'

But no. That's just a cover - she's America's top secret agent and is more than a match for the men

'To this night'

This handsome bad guy may have turned up to their date in the high school prom tuxedo

but he's got all the lines

'Let me make love to you'

'Why'

'Because your eyes reach into...'

'You misunderstood me, I didn't mean why should you want to, I meant why should I?'

shut down!

'Don't you find me attractive... appealing?'

On top of this she wears a costume more practical than revealing.

This wonder woman may not have powers but she is empowered and I can't believe I said that but it's true,

she kicks ass

while the men are left holding an ass

Although I do suspect this donkey of being in league with a robot monster

There are issues, after Diana takes out the bad guys

she apparently just let's them go as they show up 2 scenes later to plant a box in her hotel room

is it a bomb?

The bomb would have been more effective, but look at how she deals with a snake wrapped around her ankle

'Send up a container of milk with a saucer'

I love this woman

'You are that unique woman, Diana - the wonder woman'

But I more or less forgot she was wonder woman.

'I don't care about the others'

This isn't a superhero movie, this is James Bond.

But without the sex, even when we get to the bad guy's inevitable bikini pool party

(stock sound pool party)

I don't really get why, but I like the subversion

(pool party sound turned off)

The bad guy even has a secret base

'Inside the north wall of the grand canyon'

and speaking of the bad guy...

'You are exactly as I pictured you.'

KHAAAAAN!

'May I show you around.'

See James Bond. Admittedly on a TV budget, so Ricardo Montalban has 3 henchmen.

4 if you count the donkey wrangler

'You must be the one who sees to the burro'

'Yes sir.'

And his escape plan would make Blofeld blush with embarrassment

Also he gives up way too easy.

'You came close.'

She's unarmed, get your self together

'We've got to kill her'

'no, no, no, no, no, no, no'

But still, this is a pilot unencumbered with origin story

'You did a beautiful job gentlemen,'

it's a got a strong female lead

'You're always one step ahead of me'

and the recurring villain is a renegade Amazon.

Why didn't this succeed?

'Wonder Woman, I love you'

Because it's called Wonder Woman.

A bunch of comic readers would have recognised Crosby's version of the character

but for most of audience that's not wonder woman

'The most basic and simple factors are the ones we overlook'

To the extent that, you really wonder, why the costume?

She finally puts it on 40 minutes in for covert surveillance

Yep, no one'll spot you now

This is like James Bond in a bad way, she's another spy who everyone already knows

'Wonder Woman - she's here'

'I'm standing here looking at her'

Except her co-workers who are all spies

'Here's today's surprise'

This is a decent 70s spy show that's massively undermined by trying to make it something it's not.

'I'll spend the rest of my life wishing I'd met you under other circumstances'

And how. But to end on a happier note, here's the screen-test for a 1967 version from the man who created Adam West's Batman

'Away you vision of enchantment. You havea a job to do.'

You see how much worse it could have been?

'The nation needs Wonder Woman'
