Impossible.

Hello guys! My name is Y and as you probably

noticed I recently started doing English videos

in order to promote my magic all over the world and show everybody my magic.

But I wanted to show more, I wanna show you our beautiful country - Poland.

And I couldn't imagine a better way to show our

beautiful country than to show its talents.

Today I'm gonna meet one of the top Voice Kids Poland's talents

and I'm gonna show her some magic.

Today I'm gonna show some magic to Zuzia Jabłońska

who, by the way, is celebrating her birthday today.

So I've got a present for her, a balloon

but there's a prediction attached to the balloon,

in which I wrote what I think that will happen during this video shooting.

If you want to see if I managed to predict it, watch till the end.

Good morning!

Are you afraid of fire? Light the lighter up.

German Scientists Just Tested NASA's EM Drive… Does It Work Now? - Duration: 3:06.

The idea of being able to get around space as easily as we get around in our cars is

a dream many have grasped at, but none have achieved so far (although not for lack of

trying: Elon, I'm looking at you).

We've covered the so-called impossible drive several times on this channel.

And according to some recent updates, it looks like it might really be impossible.

The impossible drive, also known as the EM drive, was originally conceptualized in the

early 2000s.

It's a hypothetical form of space travel that wouldn't require any fuel.

The drive works--again, hypothetically--by bouncing microwaves around a conical metal

chamber.

Conventionally, you'd need to push against the matter around you to move anywhere--that's

how physics, as defined by Newton's third law of motion, works.

You know, like the conventional rocket thrusters we have, that's how they work.

This drive, were it to really function, would break our fundamental understanding of Newtonian

physics.

And for a hot second there, it looked like we may have measured the drive working-

In 2016 a team of NASA researchers detected a tiny amount of thrust while testing the drive

in a vacuum, although they were hesitant to attribute that thrust to anything except experimental

error.

And it turns out they may have been right.

Research in this area has been largely underfunded up until this point because, as the name of

the technology states, most people think it's quite literally impossible.

But a research team in Germany just conducted an experiment with some seriously sick resources,

like an extreme vacuum and specialized shielding.

If the EM drive worked, it would mean that space travel would be significantly cheaper

and faster and more efficient...so who won?

Physics?

Or the impossible?

Definitely physics.

Physics still wins.

These latest, most sophisticated tests conclude that the tiny amount of thrust that NASA's

team detected in 2016 was most likely due to interaction of the metal drive with the

earth's magnetic field.

Even though more teams around the world will probably continue to verify this work by conducting

tests of their own, it would seem that for the most part, this spells RIP for the EM

drive dream.

But, just to cover all their space bases, the team also looked into a different kind

of drive called the Mach Effect thruster, whose concept assumes that if a mass vibrates

enough, it interacts gravitationally with the rest of the universe.

This drive, made out of a stack of piezoelectric crystals attached to a mass of brass (which

is fun to say), showed a little more promise in tests from the German lab.

The researchers still concluded that any thrust detected from these tests is most likely interference,

or noise from the rest of the physical world interacting with the set up.

So, that's our latest update on the state of the EM drive.

A little disappointing that we won't all be jetting around space on vibrating crystals,

but the researchers make a good point at the end of their paper, saying that these experiments

were highly educational in that they required very demanding experimental conditions, and

this will help them in testing further potentially-transformative space drives.

Ah, humans.

Hey guys, it's Alexa

So for today's video, I'm going to be showing you guys how I take my selfies and how I edit them

And yeah, let's just get on with it

So, my phone is actually an iPhone 7 and this is what I use to take all my pictures for Instagram

and especially my self cuz a lot of people ask that and

This is just what I use I'm taking myself is I like to make sure that I have

Great outdoor lighting because I realized that with my phone

The quality looks best when it's like natural light instead of artificial lights

That's just how I get the best quality for my pictures

And since I have like a big window in my room that has access to direct sunlight

It's really great for pictures as you can see on Instagram. I don't usually take my selfies with artificial light

Sometimes I do with a ring light but like the natural sunlight still does best and yeah

and I'm just gonna show you guys how I

Take it. So right now we're in my camera and as you can see

I'm like right in front of my window

That's just how it looks like and yeah

and now I'll show you what it's like when I get closer and like the Sun is directly in my face like

as you can see

the sun is like literally there

im like directly in front of

it and it looks so much better and my angle is actually like this side

so I think it's best if you guys practice like which angle looks good on pictures for mine it's this

I like to just tilt my phone this way to kind of

get the angle

But I also like it right in front of me and just take your picture

Make sure that your clothes are fixed or like your accessories if you have

And I also like to add more like extra highlighter just so that it's more obvious

I think it's best to take a lot since like you have a lot more options

Now I dont know if you guys can see it but like being directly in front of the Sun just makes your makeup look a lot more flawless

And like makes your skin a bit more glowy and you can see it also

My highlight basically, it just makes all the pictures nice especially the colors

And like to like keep my phone around this far

And beware because it's also gets kind of hot in here

Since like you know, the sun is just there

There so yeah bring like a towel or maybe have your aircon on or a fan

Also you wanna practice what your face does, I like mine to just kinda be poker face

or maybe I could smile

Since this is my angle, I like to tilt my head a little bit more to show this part

Maybe you could like smile or do any of your usual faces

And fix your hair, oh my god

I've had instances where I look really good in the picture but my hair is like messy so didn't use it

of course sometimes you could edit it, but I prefer to make have the whole picture good already

Maybe you play with your hands a bit or your hair. Or maybe your clothes, or if you have any accessories

And one more tip since

you are

Directly facing the sun

Sometimes you might have a tendency to like squint

Right now the Sun isn't as harsh as it was a few hours ago

So it's a little bit cloudy

But it's still bright. Make sure that you pick the right time when it doesn't really

Affect your eyes because that can be like really

Weird in the picture where your eyebrows are just looking mad and you're kind of squinting because it's so bright. So

Sometimes it also takes practice. You could search online. I've heard there's like some tips and how you can pose under the Sun

Sometimes you can bring it higher just to catch the sun more

And once you're done taking your selfies now, we're gonna move on to how I edit my photos

So in my phone, I just have my editing folder and right here I have around

14 and I think 14 editing apps but in the front first page

That's where most of my frequently used ones are now

Sometimes if the photo has bad like lightning or I want to enhance more of the adjustments I'd go to the darkroom

I'll just show you how I edit in the darkroom

So, let's see

Highlights, but since I'm to be okay with the quality of this photo, I'm not going to do that

Gwyneth Paltrow's Daughter Is Growing Up Fast - Duration: 5:20.

It seemed like only yesterday that Gwyneth Paltrow announced that she and Chris Martin

were expecting their first child together.

Then, the world blinked and that daughter, Apple Martin, turned into a teenager.

Over the years, Apple has gone from a tiny tot to a beautiful young girl one who loves

her mama, is her dad's biggest fan and plays Taylor Swift on loop.

Before you know it, you'll blink again and Apple will be the new editor of her mom's

luxury lifestyle empire, Goop.

For now, though, let's look back at just how far Apple has come since her birth in 2004.

Little girl, big name

Any parent will tell you that naming your child is a deeply personal decision but one

that everyone likes to weigh in on.

So when Paltrow and Martin announced their first child, a daughter, would be named Apple,

you could practically hear people rolling their eyes.

"You may name your daughter after a fruit."

During an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004, Paltrow said she didn't understand

the hullabaloo over the name, saying:

"It conjured such a lovely picture for me you know, apples are so sweet and they're

wholesome and it's biblical and I just thought it sounded so lovely and clean.

And I just thought, 'Perfect!'"

Risk-taking teen

As Paltrow tells it, Apple's personality emerged early and has always been lovely.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey when her daughter was just three months old, Paltrow

described her little girl's demeanor as serene, saying:

"She's very tranquil, she's very placid and very aware."

But Apple has certainly come out of her shell as she's gotten older.

In 2016, Paltrow told Harper's Bazaar:

"My daughter is super ballsy.

[...] She likes to push herself; she wants to see how far she can get.

It's really inspiring to see that in a young woman."

Sounds like whenever Paltrow decides to hand over the reigns of her Goop empire, she won't

have to look very far to find her replacement.

Daddy's girl

You likely wouldn't get arguments out of anyone in the Paltrow-Martin family if you were to

call Apple a daddy's girl.

That connection clearly carried over into adolescence and beyond, because Paltrow often

posts photos of Apple fangirling at Coldplay concerts or just hanging out with her famous

dad.

The duo's tight-knit relationship is likely strengthened by the fact that Apple is quite

musical.

In 2015, Paltrow shared a video on Instagram of her daughter playing guitar and singing

in a kids' choir.

Gwynnie's friendship with Beyonce routinely makes headlines, but the real stars of the

"Happy birthday, #taylorswift.

And for being Apple Martins biggest inspiration."

The following year, Paltrow confirmed to People that she's more than okay with her daughter

being a diehard Swiftie.

Mini Gwyn

You can't look at Apple's face without seeing Martin's shining through.

However, Apple is one of those kids who remarkably resembles both parents.

And while she may be her dad's little doppelganger, she's also her mom's mini-me.

A quick glance at Paltrow's Instagram feed is all the proof you need.

The mother-daughter duo often poses for pics together and, side-by-side, they're total

twinsies.

World traveler

When Paltrow moved back to Los Angeles from London in 2013, she knew that it wouldn't

be the last her family would see of the UK.

She explained to Red:

"It's part of my parenting philosophy that children should get the opportunity to reinvent

themselves at a few points in their childhood to see where their strengths and weaknesses

lie and to experience living in different cultures."

That mobile lifestyle seems to be working out perfectly fine for young Apple.

By her mid-teens, she'd already played with alpacas in Peru, sailed the crystal-clear

Over the years, Paltrow has made numerous allusions to her daughter's dancing skills.

In 2016, she showed Apple leaving a dance competition after the girl "crushed it."

In February 2017, Apple was captured at a dance competition in a seriously jazzy ensemble.

And in May 2017, Paltrow hilariously posted a photo of "#dancedad" Chris Martin wearing

Mickey Mouse gloves and tossing back a cocktail.

Apple's most impressive dance move to date, however, has to have been the aerial ballet

Paltrow photographed her daughter doing on a Mexican beach in June 2017.

She captured a similar moment in December of that year, but this time with dad hilariously

attempting air-splits in the background.

Sweet 14

When Paltrow posted a photo of Apple on her thirteenth birthday, fans couldn't get over

just how grown-up the little girl looked.

The change was even more apparent the following year, when Paltrow posted a birthday photo

with a caption that ended: "Thanks for hanging out with me, even though you are 14."

Paltrow understands how difficult these years can be, telling Today in 2017 that they were

"brutal" for her.

Still, she feels confident Apple will come out on the other side of adolescence better

than ever.

Ousted Pakistan PM flying home to face jail, authorities lock down Lahore city.

  Ousted Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam, both sentenced to lengthy jail terms in absentia, are due to return to Pakistan on Friday in a high-stakes gamble to galvanise their beleaguered party ahead of a July 25 general election.

Authorities have mobilised more than 10,000 police officers ahead of their arrival and plan to block roads with shipping containers to shut down the city of Lahore.

Supporters of Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party say they will march to the airport there, where the former prime minister is due to land, in defiance of a ban on all public rallies.

Sharif is returning from Britain one week after an anti-corruption court handed him a 10-year jail term over the purchase of luxury London flats and sentenced his daughter and political heir to seven years in prison.

Their return could shake up an election race marred by claims Pakistan's powerful military was skewing the contest in favour of ex-cricket hero Imran Khan.

Sharif alleges the military is aiding a "judicial witchhunt" against him and his PML-N party.

The party's past five years in power has been punctuated by the civil-military discord that has plagued Pakistan since its inception.

  "Nawaz really believes this is about democracy and his legacy," Musadik Malik, Sharif ally and former PML-N cabinet minister, told Reuters.

"That is why he is willing to lose 10 years of his life over this." Sharif's PML-N expects a groundswell of support as he returns from London, where his wife Kulsoom is critically ill and undergoing cancer treatment.

To prevent PML-N workers staging a hero's welcome on the streets, authorities said they will arrest the father and daughter upon landing and transport them to the capital Islamabad by helicopter, local media reported.

Party officials say the police have started a crackdown against them, detaining hundreds of workers in the early hours on Friday.

Recent opinion polls suggest PML-N has lost its lead nationally to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party of arch-rival Khan, whose anti-corruption message has resonated with many Pakistanis.

Khan has painted Sharif as a "criminal" who has looted the state for decades, and welcomes his prison term as overdue accountability.

Sharif was ordered jailed after failing to explain how the family acquired the London flats in a case stemming from 2016 Panama Papers revelations that showed they owned the apartments through off-shore companies.

Maryam was convicted for concealing ownership of the apartments.

The both deny wrongdoing.

MILITARY FAVOURITE Sharif, 68, has cast himself as a defender of democracy, a far cry from the start of his political life when he was the protege of military dictator General Zia ul-Haq and had his career nurtured by the generals in the 1980s.

He was elected prime minister in 1990-93.

A second stint in power was ended by a military coup in 1999, prompting a period in jail for Sharif and years in exile in London.

When he returned to power in 2013, he clashed with the military over how to deal with Islamist militants and his desire for friendlier relations with arch-foe India.

After the Supreme Court disqualified Sharif in July 2017 for not declaring a small source of income which he denied receiving, he toured the nuclear-armed country urging voters to protect the "sanctity of the vote".

"Despite seeing the bars of prison in front of my eyes, I am going to Pakistan," Sharif told Pakistani journalists this week in London, where he vowed to re-assert "civilian supremacy".

The opposition Pakistan People Party (PPP) has also alleged "pre-poll rigging" this week, but did not specifically name the armed forces.

The military, which has ruled Pakistan for about half its history since 1947, has denied interfering in modern-day politics.

It plans to place 371,000 soldiers around polling stations so there can a "free and fair" elections, it added.

"WE ARE WINNING" Sharif's return comes at a time of dwindling fortunes for his party, which one year ago was considered a run-away favourite to retain power.

After the Supreme Court ousted Sharif last July, the courts barred him from heading the PML-N party he founded.

His brother Shehbaz became PML-N's president, but Sharif remains the power behind the throne.

Since then, a host of his allies have been either disqualified by the courts, or face corruption cases.

Many PML-N lawmakers have also defected to Khan's party.

PML-N has also been riven by internal divisions.

Sections of the party oppose Sharif's combative approach against the army and fear it will turn off voters in a deeply conservative and patriotic Muslim nation of 208 million people.

The kind of reception Sharif receives on the streets of Lahore will be viewed carefully in Pakistan, where political popularity is often measured by the size of rallies that politicians can attract.

PML-N leaders say authorities have began a crackdown against union council leaders, the street-level party workers who bring out people on the streets.

"Those who think they can scare us.open your ears and hear this: we are winning this election," Shehbaz Sharif told reporters in Lahore on Thursday. .

Hello guys! My name is Y and as you probably

noticed I recently started doing English videos

in order to promote my magic all over the world and show everybody my magic.

But I wanted to show more, I wanna show you our beautiful country - Poland.

And I couldn't imagine a better way to show our

beautiful country than to show its talents.

Today I'm gonna meet one of the top Voice Kids Poland's talents

and I'm gonna show her some magic.

who, by the way, is celebrating her birthday today.

So I've got a present for her, a balloon

but there's a prediction attached to the balloon,

in which I wrote what I think that will happen during this video shooting.
