welcome to my channel

now i'm going to make a table top planter

to make this planter

i just use a tree bark piece which is about 25cm length and 18cm width

i just collect this bark from the dead wood

and then i just use a 2" * 2" wood piece for stand

to tight the wood stand and tree bark

i'm using round plate washers and screw nails

now start

attaching wood-stand and tree bark

after attaching stand we can place this planter in any flatten surfaces

apply the wood sealer in inside of the bark

wood sealer will protect the bark from damages caused by wetting

so we can use this planter for long time

i'm going to make a small stone wall in the edges of this bark

so i just use some gravels, pebbles and cement paste

now apply the cement paste

then

placing the stones one by one

then

applying the next layer cement paste again and place the stones

make a small stone wall in the opposite edge

after 12 hours

planter is ready

put the potting soil

then

i'm going to plant the grass plants in this planter

after placing the plants add the potting soil

potting soil includes 80% sand 10% coco peat and 10% compost

then

on the top layer of soil

add some stones

to decorate i just use some gravels,pebbles, colored stones and some decor accessories

watering to this planter

use only spray water

and

water once in two days

keep this planter in indoor

one thing that's for sure about Pennsylvania especially if you're

traveling east just you know paying for gas and every single state as soon as

you hit Pennsylvania your wallet kind of goes like it changes drastically I went

from paying like about 245 249 a gallon in Ohio to I can't find anything under

three dollars and 15 cents in Pennsylvania so big change nothing I

didn't come prepared for or expect or plan for it is starting to rain look at

this huge rusty Lincoln Highway 30 des pub though see I couldn't possibly

complain about the weather again no blue skies so no it's not washed out behind

me it's just overcast again which is great I mean it's going to be a nice

cool day I won't even run the generator that's actually pretty good detail there

and there is actually some information here it says roadside Giants of the

Lincoln Highway designed and built by the students of the Eastern Westmoreland

Career and Technology Center thanks guys that is some worthwhile art fantastic

marker signs here just a little different it's like elongated put the

Lincoln penny up there so just reminding us we're on the right route a little

far as possibly not being as accommodating to RVs also just people

looking at my RV or any RV in this area like wow because there aren't that many

I I did find a place to pull off and park here and now we're gonna walk back

on the highway to what I had to make a u-turn for to go see no problem because

there is absolutely no parking anywhere up here even a car would have a

difficult time but this looks good enough to show I mean what were the

chances of running into a radio museum a radio museum what it says Ron's antique

radio Museum over on this side it's a RadioShack

emblem some old gas pumps and a radio museum phone booth in there there's a

lot in other guys

before I forget the old man that runs the radio museum it's just called the

50s Museum there he will talk your face off guys I was the only visitor and he

showed me that entire room and every single radio and then brought me into

the garage he has a massive collection I would say one of the biggest like

original radio tubes and everything from the 1900s on so it's pretty cool

I just didn't film at all cuz he was just showing me stuff we got a giant

enormous coffee pot here at the Pennsylvania century Fair Grounds and

it's actually important to the Lincoln Highway guys as it was a giant roadside

attraction for the Lincoln Highway during 1912 to 1940 so although I've

seen quite a few of these large coffee pots or water towers turned into coffee

pots along the road this one feels more significant because it was an icon it

was a physical thing that was seen on this stretch of Lincoln Highway so the

good news is now I have a tip on some not urban camping but nice natural

camping opportunities so we're gonna head there I'm kind of tired today took

a lot of time to drive around and stop and do things I don't think we saw a

whole lot of stuff but and I got water on the lens again darn it

Professional Face Reader 'Decoded' The Official Royal Family Portraits - Duration: 4:00.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released a beautiful collection of official photographs

of Prince Louis to mark his christening.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are among the royals

that also feature in the set of pictures unveiled on Sunday night.

Camilla is the most interesting thing in this photograph," Hill says, pointing out the way

or fear," Hill says, hedging it's the former.

"She has a pleasant smile to go with it—it's as if the new child is her pleasant surprise."

At the same time, Kate's right eye, which is slightly droopier than her left, signals

exhaustion.

Of course, this checks out with her status as a newborn baby's momma, with a "relaxed

twinkle in her eye," Hill notes.

PRINCE HARRY, DUKE OF SUSSEX.

With some tightness in the lower eyelids, and a smile that ranks on low in the joy department,

Harry's expression distinctly hints at anger and toughness he frequently displays when

all eyes are on him, Hill says.

As someone tasked with putting on a happy face, Hill adds, Harry pales in comparison

to his brother and wife, an actress in her former life.

MEGHAN, DUCHESS OF SUSSEX.

"She can be pretty exuberant, but this isn't an exuberant smile," Hill says of the former

actress's facial expression, which he describes as "bland" despite her father Thomas Markle's

assertion that she looks terrified and under too much pressure.

"Her eyes are flared a bit, and they look a bit wide, which could be a sign that she's

on alert, surprised, or angry, but I wouldn't go too far down that road," he says.

In this lecture, I want to talk about the type of stimuli that we would use

to record the evoke potentials that we are looking at.

From the cochlear microphonic through to the summating potential,

dendritic potential and the compound action potential.

Here's the hair cell transfer curve for the outer hair cell.

It is symmetric, it has an operating point of 50%,

which means that the displacement of the hair cell, hair bundles

will create an alternating current which you can see here.

The cochlear microphonic waveform is an alternating current waveform.

You want a single polarity stimulus

because if you have an alternating polarity stimulus

and you average it over time, of course you can average it out to 0.

Your single polarity stimulus should be of low frequency

to avoid contaminating the response with inner hair cell activity.

The inner hair cells are velocity, not displacement-coupled.

So, the lower the frequency of the tone that is presented,

the less likely the inner hair cells will contribute.

The other thing to remember is that the round-window electrode sits

right near the base of the cochlea.

It's consistent with the high frequency region

of the cochlear, or of the hair cells.

The loudness of the sound must be high enough

to generate activity in these basal hair cells.

Not only do you need a low frequency single polarity stimulus,

you need it to be loud enough to generate basal hair cell activity.

Under pathological conditions, outer hair cells can do many things.

For example, the operating point might change due to

a static displacement on the basilar membrane.

Look at the first example, point A, which shows

a normal physiological cochlea.

We have the operating point at 50%.

You can see this lovely, symmetric cochlear microphonic

or current that occurs in the outer hair cells.

On the other hand, if we have a static displacement

of the basilar membrane down to what is called timpani,

this is something that we see with Ménière's Disease for example.

We have an endolymphatic hydrops of the scala media,

which pushes through pressure a displacement down

on the basilar membrane.

This causes a biais of the outer hair cells

since it's displacement-coupled.

In fact, what we see is an asymmetric current

that would saturate on one side before the other side.

You can see now how you might look at the cochlear microphonic

to differently diagnose what's happening with the outer hair cells.

On the other hand, if something were to occur,

that caused your basilar membrane to move up towards scala vestibuli.

No particular pathology would create this.

But just because we can't think of what it might be

doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

You get a saturation on the other side of the cochlear microphonic.

So, you can see how the cochlear microphonic

might enable us to see what

the operating point of the outer hair cells could be.

On the other hand, instead of a change in the operating point,

mechano-electrical transduction channels

might be closed off or inactivated due to things like

loud noise, ototoxic drugs,

or any type of blockage that can occur.

In this case, there would be a reduction in the maximum

of the saturation currents.

You'd still get a symmetric-looking cochlear microphonic

but the maximum amplitude of the cochlear microphonic would be reduced.

That is cochlear microphonic and how to use it with electrocochleography,

how we might differentially diagnose a problem there.

Let's look at the stimulus we need to measure the summating potential,

the compound action potential and the dendritic potential.

In this case, we want to get rid of the cochlear microphonic.

To do that, we need an alternating tone burst.

We also want to capture the activity from the inner hair cells

and from the neurons.

We need a high frequency, alternating tone burst that gives us

the best representation of the activity at the base of the cochlea,

which is where the round-window electrode is situated.

In this case, for humans,

the activity at the round window of the cochlea

is consistent with a characteristic frequency

of about 8 kHz.

We want to present a high frequency,

roughly 8 to 10 kHz tone burst that is alternating in nature.

In that way, when we average, we're averaging out not just the noise

but also a cochlear microphonic.

On the left-hand side, for the human, we can see the summating potential

and a compound action potential.

On the right hand side, it is very similar to what we see

in the animal model, in the guinea pig.

Here, we see the response that we will get with a single polarity

versus an alternating polarity click.

It is a click, it's not a long duration tone burst.

The cochlear microphonic's quality is not incredible

but you can still see it in the bottom trace.

If we look at the top trace, you can see a rarefaction stimulus

and a condensation stimulus that create the response.

Rarefaction plus condensation gets rid of the cochlear microphonic.

So we get rid of any alternating component.

We're left with the summating potential,

followed by the compound action potential.

On the other hand, if we subtract the rarefaction

and the condensation responses,

we find that the cochlear microphonic is maximised or amplified,

We also get a slight compound action potential

due to the difference in magnitude of the response

produced by the rarefaction versus condensation response.

Simply, from this diagram, it shows that if you add the two responses,

you null the cochlear microphonic.

If you substract the two responses you magnify it.

The next point is:

How do you measure the amplitude of the response you obtain?

Here is an example of a high frequency alternating tone burst

that's been used, in fact a click has been used,

with an 80dBnHL sound.

The response shows the summating potential

followed by the action potential.

There are two ways you can look at the magnitude of the response.

The first one is that you measure from baseline

what the magnitude of the summating potential is

and then, from the tip of the summating potential,

from the greatest point of the summating potential,

you can measure what the magnitude of the action potential is.

In this example, the summating potential

and the action potentials are in a negative direction.

But for a high-frequency tone burst, for reasons of polarity

and direction of currents, etc. the summating potential is often

a positive response compared to the action potential.

The left shows a summating potential followed by an action potential.

But on the right, both potentials are measured

in amplitude from the baseline.

Either could be correct but you need to clearly articulate

how you've measured each.

This final example shows the adaptation

that occurs when you are presenting click trains.

This example comes from a paper by ?? Santarelli,

which is talking about auditory neuropathy.

But this slide depicts what happens in control subjects,

in normal hearing, non-pathological subjects.

If you have a look at the click train that is presented – 11 clicks.

They present one, followed by a pause of about 15 ms

and then they present a series of 10 click trains.

You can see, if you look at part C that the summating potential

is not particularly affected by how rapid

the click stimuli are presented.

On the other hand, the compound action potential

is highly adapted by this rapid presentation of stimuli.

So when you are measuring the compound action potential,

bear in mind how much time you need to allow for recovery of the response

before you measure it again.

Oregon and Washington have mostly positive news on fire suppression efforts, although a few new fires have recently cropped up.

Currey Canyon.

Currey Canyon is an Oregon fire at 3,100 acres and 50 percent contained.

It's located one mile northeast of Juntura, according to NIFC.

One residence is threatened as of July 14.

Fire behavior is minimal. Gravel Fire.

This fire began on July 15 and is 100 acres, caused by lightning, and 0 percent contained, according to NIFC.

It's eight miles northwest of Prospect, Oregon, and no residences or structures are currently threatened.

Hendrix Fire.

This fire began on July 15 and was caused by lightning.

It's 150 acres and 0 percent contained, according to NIFC.

It's 10 miles southwest of Ashland, Oregon, and no residences are currently threatened.

It's along the border of the Oregon Department of Forestry lands and Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest lands near Hells Peak.

HWY 97 & MP 37.

This fire is 700 acres and 40 percent contained, according to NIFC.

It was caused by human activity and is located on both sides of Highway 97 near Mile Post 37.

Little Camas.

This Washington fire is 317 acres and now 100 percent contained, according to NIFC.

It was located six miles southwest of Cashmere.

The cause of this fire, which started on July 5, is still under investigation. Inciweb last updated their details on the fire on July 11, saying it was 87 percent contained, but NIFC.gov is reporting it's now 100 percent contained.

Narrows Fire.

This fire in Oregon is now 100 percent contained according to Inciweb.

It was 10 acres, five miles south of Plush.

Newall Grade Fire.

This Washington fire is 19 miles east of Goldendale in Klickitat County, 40 miles south-southwest of Bickleton, overlooking the Columbia River, according to Inciweb.

It began on June 28 and is now 228 acres and 95 percent contained.

Rattlesnake Fire.

This Washington fire is 2,600 acres and 50 percent contained, according to NIFC.

It's located 20 miles northwest of Davenport.

One residence and four structures were threatened.

It's located 45 miles southeast of Keller, Washington, west of Lincoln boat launch, according to NIFC.

Rocky Reach Fire.

This Washington fire is 3,427 acres and 30 percent contained, according to NIFC.

It's located five miles northwest of Wenatchee.

The cause is under investigation.

No structures have been damaged.

A number of nearby residences received Level 1 evacuation notices for the Burch Mountain and Swakane Canyon neighborhoods.

A total of 243 residences and additional structures are threatened, according to NIFC.

As of noon on Monday, July 16, all Level 1 evacuation notices for the Burch Mountain Road area in Sunnyslope were canceled.

Swakane Canyon remains at a level 1 fire advisory status until further notice.

Technically this refers to two fires: Wagner Creek and Garner Complex that are 275 acres and 30 percent contained, according to ODF Southwest Oregon District.
