After leaving the last transition at the same time

Sebastian Kienle and Jan Frodeno are still fighting head to head.

Both are keeping up a blazing pace of just under six minutes,

as they enter the last miles of the marathon.

It is unbelievable!

Now Frodeno is able to set himself apart, he's breaking away.

Kienle can't keep up.

Frodeno crosses the finish line and once again

becomes IRONMAN World Champion.

There is really no athlete who is unbeatable.

We're all fairly close together

and the chances of winning this year in Hawaii

are just as great as being second, third, or fourth.

I've won races

and then a certain self-satisfaction sets in

and you don't work as hard.

You see the others

who strive to take your throne

and want to take your place.

The knowledge of how good it feels

to master the moments in which you doubt yourself.

That is what really drives me.

An easy victory, one with a ten–minute lead

- you quickly forget.

And then I really look forward to these moments

because somewhere in the race

I know I have to overcome different moments where I have to got through hell.

And then it really is the greatest victory.

this is the room I've been staying at while out here in Australia for Youtube's creator summit

welcome to Australia

the crazy thing about this place is that its a 5 star hotel

so expensive.... this is my first time staying at a 5 star hotel

and so I want to show you guys my room so I'll be doing a 'Room Tour'

if you didn't notice my voice is a bit strange I'll tell you more about it later

once you step into this room....

tadaa it looks like this

the bed is a double bed so nice

it was so nice to sleep on

and I've been in this bed for most of my stay

and if you walk over here

here's a desk its like a room a CEO would stay at or something

and this is....

tadaa. oh oops the blinds were closed

lets open it up

when you open up the curtains there's a blind set up that you can open up

and you can see a view of Melbourne Australia

you can't really see it that clearly right now

lets walk up and take a better look

waaa its so wonderful

I didn't have a chance to take a look at the view

I didn't really have a chance to take it in till now

its soo beautiful

and this is the dressing room

you can wash your hands here

and over here is a bathtub I'm so happy to have one

I told them I wanted a tub and I'm so happy to have one

and over here is the toilet and this is a shower

its got a bathtub and even a shower as well

and over here is a bunch of stuff

this is...

miso soup but its some miso soup that I bought here in Aus

Japanese miso soup is really popular around here

and I've got all sorts of other soups here

omg I'm so sorry it must be super bright for you guys

and I've got all sorts of soups and OJ. and jellies

and water

and look at this its a present given to me by Youtube when I first checked in

a boomerang and a snack... I think you call them twisties?

and another thing that came with it was....

hello I already introduced myself earlier but I was invited here to come to Youtube's creator summit

here in Melbourne Australia

and I had so much fun doing all sorts of things but....

but.. the thing is...

I was perfectly fine and healthy up until I left Narita airport

and during the 10 hour plane ride.... I was still healthy

and when I arrived in Melbourne I was fine

when I checked into the hotel I felt a bit funny

and so I thought I'd stay in my room instead of going out for lunch

and gradually my health started to get worse and worse

and now my voice. I'm finally able to talk now but

the first night I was unable to talk at all and when I tried to drink some water...

I'd be like ....

I'd experience such an unbearable pain

and it took everything I got to just drink some water

I was diagnosed with 'pharyngitis'

I was given some medicine

something to combat fever, pain killers, and some antibiotics

and I've been taking them

morning noon and night

and again... I had to take them 4 times

and again just before going to bed

and I've been totally unable to eat anything but I tried to eat these jellies here

and you can see I have a bunch of different jelly like things here

and I've worried and bothered so much of the google and Youtube staff here

and they were so kind and bought me all of these things

they were so yummy and were pretty easy to eat and they really helped out a bunch

and so I ate these and took my medicine

and from midnight of that day onwards I was in such a bad way gagging/throwing up

I was unable to take a bite of anything I had my lunch on the plane

but as soon as I arrived here I started to feel bad and couldn't eat a thing

this is my first time going through such an ordeal

this has gotta be a first for me to be unable to eat anything

well its not that I lost my appetite but I just had such a hard time drinking or even taking my medicine

so basically I think you could say that I just didn't have the energy to eat

and at midnight I started to get so nauseated

and I had a horrible bout of gagging

and since I didn't have anything to eat only water came up

and despite all that I'd still keep throwing up like...

it really wasn't a fun time

I was scheduled to do a presentation the day after I arrived

I told them that I felt so sick that I could not possibly give that presentation and I went to the hospital

and I wanted to attend the next day since they brought me out all this way

I really hoped that I could find a quick cure if I went to the hospital

and the midnight of that day after the hospital I was unable to stop gagging

but thanks to the medicine I no longer had a fever

and thanks to the pain meds it still hurt when I drank water but it wasn't so bad as to make me wince in pain when I drank

but.... the gagging was so unbearable

I had a second presentation to do

and I was asked if I wanted to do the presentation

I told them that I wanted to participate and I really did try to do my presentation

but that gagging fit was so terrible that I was unable to do the presentation at all

yeah...

no, no its not a laughing matter at all I truly am sorry for missing out

but the day that I was at my worst at around noon....

I stopped taking the medicine thinking that it might be the cause of my throwing up

or I might have been wrong ...

and so I stopped taking the medicine and from noon my throat still hurt but

I no longer had a fever..

and wasn't gagging anymore

and finally felt like I could participate in the youtuber summit

and I finally was able to start participating in the summit

so I went to the events and afterwards the thing I was looking forward to the most

going to see the animals here

I really had fun thank you so much

and so I took some pics and some videos have a look

so yeah it was so much fun the Koalas were so~ KAWAII

the wallabies and wombats were so Kawaii as well

I totally want to live in a house with all of them

but that would be so much work

and that night I went out for dinner and it was like a big party with everyone

and I along with mikiponchan, saayachan were off to the side looking at it all going on

and right now I finally got back to my room here

I really did have a tonne of fun here

but I'm so sorry and feel so bad that I got so sick like this

I had so much fun and felt so honored to be invited to such an event like this

thank you so much Youtube and google

I've heard medicines abroad are really strong and back in Japan I don't often take medicines

I do take a lot of supplements though

but I thought foreign medicines might be a bit much for me

so I plan on going to a hospital as soon as I get back to Japan

so I plan on heading to a hospital within 8 hours of getting back

but for reals I really did have a lot of fun here

I totally want to come back to Australia since I was unable to do so much this time around

it really is a beautiful country I really wanted to eat so much stuff while I was here

but once I started feeling better the lunch I had here was at a place close to my hotel here

at a food court in an outlet mall here

I also had this tapioca drink ain't it so huge?

I totally thought that it would be so nice if we could have such sizes back in Japan

I really did have a lot of fun here I was able to take a trip to Korea this year

and here to Australia as well

I'm so blessed to have been able to go abroad

my throat is still....

my throat is still not that great so I'll be taking a break from OoGui mukbangs for just a bit

and so today I didn't do a mukbang I'm so sorry you all

and at that dinner with everyone I met so many Korean creators Indonesian creators, Australian creators

Taiwanese creators, and they all knew who I was it made me so glad to know that everyone really

enjoys food so much I totally want to meet you all again

and people I did collabs with already like Simon and Martina are all such wonderful kind people

when I started getting sick Kumamikichan asked if I wanted her to get me some breakfast

and Mikiponchan was so worried about me and sent me texts

I feel so grateful and embarrassed over all this I truly want to thank all of you

The Runes: Raidho ᚱ - Duration: 9:11.

Hello friends my name is Arith Härger and today I'm going to talk about the rune Raido/Raidho

the rune means "to ride" or associated with "wagon", roughly translated

it's associated with "the journey", this rune is connected with the journey of life

movement, what drives you to take action, initiative, being in control

and making your own decisions to achieve your goal while you are in a certain path towards an objective

this is a rune associated with the human need to find

the right path and sometimes the inability to understand what's right and

what's wrong gives us fear, the fear to take responsibilities

and that same fear leads us to a state of lifelessness

passivity, and Raido helps to give the first step to start our journey

so this rune will help to establish a creative rhythm in your activities

Raido is also associated with the symbol of the wheel, representing a circular movement

because in nature everything has a certain rhythm, a cycle

ever in circles but always in movement towards the future going, forward

the idea of reaching a goal is not the end but a transformation and a new beginning for

another journey to reach a new objective in order to evolve

now let's talk about the mythology concerning this Rune to better understand its essence

this rune is associated with the horse as a vehicle of transportation so the most

obvious mythological association is with Odin's famous eight-legged horse

Sleipnir

which can carry Odin to all the nine cosmic worlds of creation

However, this rune is also connected to the god Ing

the sort of Teutonic version of the Norse fertility God Freyr

Ing was a deity of great importance to the early Anglo-Saxons and was a God associated with horses

so it's no coincidence when the Anglo-Saxons first came to the

shores of Britain during the 5th and the 6th century they bore the banner of the

White Stallion which remains the emblem of the county of Kent to this day in southern England

and, well... the name England itself owes its very name to this god

anyway the horse has always been a powerful animal

in many cultures, in ancient Europe it was the prime means of land transportation, for instance

and the vehicle by which people could travel great distances

as such the animal became one of the most highly valuable domestic animals

we have a variety of myths in Norse mythology concerning horses

a horse which pulls the Sun, a horse which pulls the moon - Skinfaxi and Hrímfaxi - for instance

and of course in archaeological evidences of burial context

we find that horses were the chosen animals to sacrifice when rituals

were of great importance or the people to whom the funerary rituals had been performed

were also of great importance

there is a rune which is much more

associated with the horse as an animal that is Ehwaz and the rune literally means "horse"

but Raido is associated with the act of riding a horse

there are profound shamanistic associations linked to the concept of riding

riding on horseback is the symbology of a spiritual journey into the world of the spirits

the domain of the gods and the ancestors and since this is a rune

associated with rhythm, well... the rhythm of the drum plays an important role in

the shamanic ritual, the drum itself in shamanic terms is referred to as the

"shamans horse" the vehicle the shaman uses for the awareness of other realities

in Norse mythology one of the best references to a shamanic tradition

is when Odin journeys down the world tree Yggdrasil

in his quest for the runes,

Yggdrasil literally means "Odin's horse"

anyway this account is widely recognized as a shamanic journey to the Otherworld

now let's talk about the meaning of this rune and let's start with its upright position

when this rune is drawn in a rune-reading in its upright position

this rune is associated with journeys of all kinds

and I keep on repeating this precisely so you can nteriorize this concept

so journeys both of the outer world and your personal journeys

it's important to understand that the runes don't tell you what to do, they give you advice

so when Raido appears in a rune-reading it advises you to use judgment in your

next course of action and acting honorably

ask yourself which is the right course, the right path to take, don't act impulsively

take your time to ponder your decisions before you start your next journey, wait, and while you wait

work on the restrictions which are preventing you from moving on

solve what's left behind and what you have been avoiding so you can move forward without looking back

since this is a rune connected with the act of riding

it gives us the association of journeying and adventure, and life is full of surprises and possibilities

so indeed it is a great adventure, but the road we travel along

may not always be easy but remember that eventually at the end of

every adventure all the trials and tribulations encountered along the way

will be worth it when you achieved something when you receive your rewards

as always the journey is in the direction of self-healing, self-change

to evolve and attain the perfect union and balance, but such things cannot be forced

so control any excesses in your life

as I've told you

all runes give you advice but when Raido appears the advice is precisely not to take the advice of others

it is your own judgment that will outweigh any other point of view

keep your own counsel and once your mind is made up

do not waver from your course

now the meaning of this rune in its inverted position

Raido suggests that you may be having troubles along this new journey of yours

there is a strong feeling that you are going nowhere, don't get stuck in fear

and other negative responses to your current situation

it's like riding a horse, adapt to the horse's rhythm, if you hold the reins too tightly and force

too much control, you will break the rhythm, you will break the balance

we all want to be in control of our own lives but the truth is that we can't

control that much due to a variety of factors, sometimes it doesn't depend on

the power we have, each Power has its limitations

when this rune appears inverted disruption of your plans are inevitable but that doesn't mean you can

abandon the path, the road seems dangerous, a lot of hazards, difficulties

but don't be disheartened, keep the faith because this troublesome period will not last forever

the requirements that are necessary for your evolutionary process

had over the weekend. We all know that word of mouth is the best marketing and

when a friend recommended a health website that was local I was very

interested in supporting it and checking it out. I was really impressed I went to

the website it looked very professional and the first thing I did was look for

the about page and certainly there was an about page but there was nothing

about the person which is a small little company that produces various health

products foods and items and I wanted to know more about the person behind it I

wanted to know what they looked like I always believed that you should operate

your company as if it's an open book your life should be an open book and the

more light shed on your company the more trustworthy you appear to the market at

least that's how it works for me when I read somebody's story I can get moved by

it or relate to the person and I'm more likely to support them and purchase from

them so overall the experience was below average I went ahead and did purchase

the item and received an automatic response again there was nothing

personal about it I wish that they had taken the time to see maybe who I was

thank me for the purchase and asked me if there was anything else

I wanted it just lacked that personal touch that can make a huge difference so

that's it everybody again the themes will be consistent with

always that at the end of the day it's not just about the product but the

person behind the product wishing you all the very best and have a great day

successfully changed this top color.

Now if you want to leave a margin-bottom over here you may do it easily.

We are leaving a margin bottom of 1em.

I think it requires some more content over here so...

All we are doing now we are placing some more contents inside, press control + s, get back

to your project and reload.

Now up to this far it is alright.

Now we have to provide some background colour into this

text element that we have placed over here.

Press F12.

Large model.

Press the arrow selector, click on it.

And you can see that it is now executing its properties

over here.

These paragraph elements those are practically coming into this modal-content.

We need to copy this class name here, modal-content and inside this custom.css,

this one, press control + s, reload, and you can see it is practically working.

So that is what we need to change here.

Any paragraph element that will come below this modal-content and in turn which will

be coming below this Banner5, it will be having this background

property.

So Press control + s, and reload and now you can see that it is practically working.

So this is the thing that we practically need to do over here when I have to

push on through this.

Reload and you can see that everything is working.

Now we need to change this background color so we are going back to this one, this pink

color.

And instead of this one replace it with this one now we can see that it is practically

been changed.

You have successfully obtained your desired result that

you wish to have.

And in the same manner if you want to pour some contents over here in this extreme left

and extreme right box, here in this part, then all you need

to do just get back to your project index.html copy this one, place it over here.

Reload and we can see that it is perfectly working.

You can put anything inside it.

You can put a form element, you can put a table element.

Things that is remaining over here is to put some kind of footer element as you have seen

over here, in this photo element we can see that there is practically a

close button, so will be using this close button only, and nothing else.

And there goes this div class modal footer.

So all we need to do we need to copy it inside this modal content, here it is, modal-content,

reload and you can see that it is practically working.

All we need to do we need to remove this 'save changes' option,

we don't need any 'save changes' here, all we need, we need to use that close button

only.

You may change this to button-primary, or you may change the button-warning,

here it is.

Get back to your project reload and you can see that it is working, data is getting dismissed

as you can see.

And in case if you want to change the background color of this footer element, then in the

same procedure, that is pressing F12 and selecting all those

things you need to change this one you need to identify the right class that is practically

in action over here.

And then all you need to do you need to just change

the background color and everything and every all of those attributes, those are needed

to be changed.

In this manner you can create any kind of modal elements over here and you can put any

kind of contents, whatever it is, would be a table it could be a form element

or it could be a simple text or images, anything you want to put over here you can always put

it and you can change this grid-alignment.

this is the room I've been staying at while out here in Australia for Youtube's creator summit

welcome to Australia

the crazy thing about this place is that its a 5 star hotel

so expensive.... this is my first time staying at a 5 star hotel

and so I want to show you guys my room so I'll be doing a 'Room Tour'

if you didn't notice my voice is a bit strange I'll tell you more about it later

once you step into this room....

tadaa it looks like this

the bed is a double bed so nice

it was so nice to sleep on

and I've been in this bed for most of my stay

and if you walk over here

here's a desk its like a room a CEO would stay at or something

and this is....

tadaa. oh oops the blinds were closed

lets open it up

when you open up the curtains there's a blind set up that you can open up

and you can see a view of Melbourne Australia

you can't really see it that clearly right now

lets walk up and take a better look

waaa its so wonderful

I didn't have a chance to take a look at the view

I didn't really have a chance to take it in till now

its soo beautiful

and this is the dressing room

you can wash your hands here

and over here is a bathtub I'm so happy to have one

I told them I wanted a tub and I'm so happy to have one

and over here is the toilet and this is a shower

its got a bathtub and even a shower as well

and over here is a bunch of stuff

this is...

miso soup but its some miso soup that I bought here in Aus

Japanese miso soup is really popular around here

and I've got all sorts of other soups here

omg I'm so sorry it must be super bright for you guys

and I've got all sorts of soups and OJ. and jellies

and water

and look at this its a present given to me by Youtube when I first checked in

a boomerang and a snack... I think you call them twisties?

and another thing that came with it was....

hello I already introduced myself earlier but I was invited here to come to Youtube's creator summit

here in Melbourne Australia

and I had so much fun doing all sorts of things but....

but.. the thing is...

I was perfectly fine and healthy up until I left Narita airport

and during the 10 hour plane ride.... I was still healthy

and when I arrived in Melbourne I was fine

when I checked into the hotel I felt a bit funny

and so I thought I'd stay in my room instead of going out for lunch

and gradually my health started to get worse and worse

and now my voice. I'm finally able to talk now but

the first night I was unable to talk at all and when I tried to drink some water...

I'd be like ....

I'd experience such an unbearable pain

and it took everything I got to just drink some water

I was diagnosed with 'pharyngitis'

I was given some medicine

something to combat fever, pain killers, and some antibiotics

and I've been taking them

morning noon and night

and again... I had to take them 4 times

and again just before going to bed

and I've been totally unable to eat anything but I tried to eat these jellies here

and you can see I have a bunch of different jelly like things here

and I've worried and bothered so much of the google and Youtube staff here

and they were so kind and bought me all of these things

they were so yummy and were pretty easy to eat and they really helped out a bunch

and so I ate these and took my medicine

and from midnight of that day onwards I was in such a bad way gagging/throwing up

I was unable to take a bite of anything I had my lunch on the plane

but as soon as I arrived here I started to feel bad and couldn't eat a thing

this is my first time going through such an ordeal

this has gotta be a first for me to be unable to eat anything

well its not that I lost my appetite but I just had such a hard time drinking or even taking my medicine

so basically I think you could say that I just didn't have the energy to eat

and at midnight I started to get so nauseated

and I had a horrible bout of gagging

and since I didn't have anything to eat only water came up

and despite all that I'd still keep throwing up like...

it really wasn't a fun time

I was scheduled to do a presentation the day after I arrived

I told them that I felt so sick that I could not possibly give that presentation and I went to the hospital

and I wanted to attend the next day since they brought me out all this way

I really hoped that I could find a quick cure if I went to the hospital

and the midnight of that day after the hospital I was unable to stop gagging

but thanks to the medicine I no longer had a fever

and thanks to the pain meds it still hurt when I drank water but it wasn't so bad as to make me wince in pain when I drank

but.... the gagging was so unbearable

I had a second presentation to do

and I was asked if I wanted to do the presentation

I told them that I wanted to participate and I really did try to do my presentation

but that gagging fit was so terrible that I was unable to do the presentation at all

yeah...

no, no its not a laughing matter at all I truly am sorry for missing out

but the day that I was at my worst at around noon....

I stopped taking the medicine thinking that it might be the cause of my throwing up

or I might have been wrong ...

and so I stopped taking the medicine and from noon my throat still hurt but

I no longer had a fever..

and wasn't gagging anymore

and finally felt like I could participate in the youtuber summit

and I finally was able to start participating in the summit

so I went to the events and afterwards the thing I was looking forward to the most

going to see the animals here

I really had fun thank you so much

and so I took some pics and some videos have a look

so yeah it was so much fun the Koalas were so~ KAWAII

the wallabies and wombats were so Kawaii as well

I totally want to live in a house with all of them

but that would be so much work

and that night I went out for dinner and it was like a big party with everyone

and I along with mikiponchan, saayachan were off to the side looking at it all going on

and right now I finally got back to my room here

I really did have a tonne of fun here

but I'm so sorry and feel so bad that I got so sick like this

I had so much fun and felt so honored to be invited to such an event like this

thank you so much Youtube and google

I've heard medicines abroad are really strong and back in Japan I don't often take medicines

I do take a lot of supplements though

but I thought foreign medicines might be a bit much for me

so I plan on going to a hospital as soon as I get back to Japan

so I plan on heading to a hospital within 8 hours of getting back

but for reals I really did have a lot of fun here

I totally want to come back to Australia since I was unable to do so much this time around

it really is a beautiful country I really wanted to eat so much stuff while I was here

but once I started feeling better the lunch I had here was at a place close to my hotel here

at a food court in an outlet mall here

I also had this tapioca drink ain't it so huge?

I totally thought that it would be so nice if we could have such sizes back in Japan

I really did have a lot of fun here I was able to take a trip to Korea this year

and here to Australia as well

I'm so blessed to have been able to go abroad

my throat is still....

my throat is still not that great so I'll be taking a break from OoGui mukbangs for just a bit

and so today I didn't do a mukbang I'm so sorry you all

and at that dinner with everyone I met so many Korean creators Indonesian creators, Australian creators

Taiwanese creators, and they all knew who I was it made me so glad to know that everyone really

enjoys food so much I totally want to meet you all again

and people I did collabs with already like Simon and Martina are all such wonderful kind people

when I started getting sick Kumamikichan asked if I wanted her to get me some breakfast

and Mikiponchan was so worried about me and sent me texts

I feel so grateful and embarrassed over all this I truly want to thank all of you

Hello Beloved and welcome to Beloved Women with me Christina Patterson where we encourage

uplift and equip women in the love of Jesus Christ and the truth of God's Word.

And for those of you returning, welcome back!

Today we're continuing our series "Matters of the Heart" as we work our way through

the Psalms to help us develop and maintain emotional wellness by learning how to honestly

process our emotions in a healthy way.

In today's video I want to talk about desire.

Desire is that strong feeling of wanting something or wanting something to happen.

We're going to go ahead in jump right into the scripture for today.

Today's Psalm is Psalm 37:4 which reads:

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Let me start with this, desire is not bad.

When we are aligned with God's will for our lives today's scripture tells us God will

give us the desires of our heart.

The problem occurres when we are not connected to God.

When we're not in fellowship with Him.

In these cases seeking out what we desire could very well mean leading us further away

from Him.

The key to managing our feelings of desire is not to simply seek what we want but to

seek God, to delight ourselves in Him.

Matthew 6:33 says "seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things

will be given to you as well."

(NIV)

God has not forgotten your needs and desires, He simply asks that you seek Him first because

when we don't this when our desires get out of control.

And we can see that desire can cause the most dysfunction when it comes to relationships.

And believe me I've experienced my fair share of misguided desire that has led to heartbreak,

confusion, and drama.

However when I met my husband in college I remember being instantly attracted to him.

I desired to want to know him more and I was feeling the brotha.

But this time I didn't manipulate and compromise my values to satisfy my desire.

Why?

Because I was not in theses streets thirsty.

I had learned my lesson when it came to managing my desires and I was full on God.

Did I want to be with my husband?

Absolutely.

But if it didn't work out I wasn't going to be in a state of desperation because I wasn't

going to walk away empty handed.

I delighted in the Lord and that was enough.

But when we're empty of God our cravings for what we want become uncontrolled and unhealthy.

And even now married if I don't stay satisfied in God I can get back into a desperate state

that will place unrealistic expectations on my husband and hinder my marriage.

Think of ordering at a restaurant.

If you're super hungry you're going to order more than you need.

You may spend more money than you planned to spend only to realize the meal was not

everything you though it would be.

This is what unchecked desire looks like.

It takes more than you want or have to give.

Think about what it is that you desire.

There's nothing wrong with wanting what you want as long as it is not sinful.

The last thing I want you to do is lie to yourself about what you want because you fear

not getting it.

One of the most important things you can do to maintain your emotional stability is by

being honest about how you feel.

If you want to be married, admit that.

If you do or don't want kids, don't be afraid to confess that.

If you desire a particular career path or dream say it.

In many ways God has placed these desires on our hearts and it's one of the ways God

speaks to us.

To not listen to our desires may mean missing out on something God has for us.

There are too many times I almost sabotaged a blessing God was trying to grant me because

I wasn't sure God would give me what I wanted, I lived in the false thinking that to show

God I love Him I had to sacrifice everything I desired until I had a friend tell me "Christina,

sometimes God gives you what you want" and I realized maybe God placed that desire there

because that was the direction He wanted me to go in anyway.

But if we're never honest about what we want we can't be led by God in this way.

I'm not saying only be led by your feelings, I'm saying that sometimes God does use our

feelings to guide us.

So we need discernment to know the difference.

So how do we navigate these seasons where we want something we don't have yet?

We ensure that we delight ourselves in the Lord as today's scripture tells us.

If we want to maintain a healthy desire we must be filled by God least we become so thirsty

our desires start to control us when we should control our desires.

When we think of what we desire we really don't want that thing or person.

We want what we perceive it will grant us; peace, security, comfort, acceptance.

When we have peace, we won't trip over the pressure of striving for more money, fame,

attention, likes, or a man.

When we have security we won't be tempted to compromise our values.

When we have joy we won't become distracted by temporary pleasures that won't last.

Know if you don't get anything from this video get this: all these things; joy, security,

acceptance are already yours in Christ.

We find safety and joy and serenity not in the things of this world but in God.

Psalm 119:2 reminds us

"Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts."

(NLT‬‬)

When we delight ourselves in God we realize we already have what it is we desire.

And when you realize that your cup is already full you won't be so thirsty and wasting time

trying to fill it with knock offs.

Don't miss what God has for you by desiring what you already have.

Today I want to encourage you to fill up on God.

Think about what that looks like for you.

Making more time to read your Bible, starting to go back to church or serve in Church, praying

more, maybe even a fast if the Holy Spirit leads.

Just don't be out here in these streets thirsty if you don't have to be.

Delight yourself in the Lord and see if He won't fulfill those desires.
