here's the petrol engine and this one is the electric unit with the power flowing form one to the other. There's even a Kers system, allowing to charge the battery. There's also a generator that increases the electric range for this car

this should be the final car, which is very nice with lots of space with a digital cockpit and a new generation infotainment system. The outer design has full LED lights and a new grille. Not bad at all!

Top 10 Best Gen 1 Pokemon - Duration: 12:41.

Greetings everyone, my name is Syy!

So, you read the title.

The Top 10 Best Gen 1 Pokemon!

Just one thing, we're going to throw in a rule.

"Starters/Legendaries/ and Pikachu" are not allowed.

If they were, they would populate the list almost exclusively, and if you wanna see the

most boring version of this video possible, then I'm sure WatchMojo's done something

like this.

So without further ado, The Top 10 Best Gen 1 Pokemon.

Let's begin.

Number 10: Jigglypuff I love Pokemon with personality, because it

reminds me of what I lack, and by virtue of the anime, Jigglypuff probably has one of

the most memorable personalities of any Pokemon.

Jigglypuff is an adorable ball of cuteness that's only desire in life is for people

to listen to it sing.

Unfortunately, it's voice is SO nice to listen to, that everyone who hears it's

song falls asleep.

Unfortunately, that pisses Jigglypuff off to the point that it uses it's microphone/...marker

(Buy one today!) to draw dicks on people's faces.

It's akin to a Greek tragedy really.

Like Sisyphus and the bolder, except they've been combined together into a pink floof.

Number 9: Snorlax You know...

I'm not really sure why I like Snorlax.

I just sorta feel like he... gets me, you know?

He's also got a great design.

It's simple, but not TOO simple.

It's also really strong, and can easily steamroll multiple Elite 4 members by itself.

Yeah...

Snorlax is...

Snorlax is... good...

Number 8: Ditto So, this here is my cop out answer.

Since Dito can turn into any Pokemon, I want you to imagine any Pokemon that you like but

that I didn't put on this list, and bamn, now it's on the list, just with little dots

for eyes.

Speaking of, it's now been accepted in the canon that that's just what Ditto's look

like when they transform, but that wasn't how it started off as.

In Ditto's introductory episode of the anime, it was Duplica's ditto always kept it's

dot eyes, and that was a problem with that one ditto specifically, and was overcome by

the end of the episode.

But the idea stuck around and has been making Nintendo easy money by selling existing plushes

a second time with minor alterations ever since.

Number 7: Growlithe This one's pretty simple.

Growlithe is a dog.

I adore dogs.

Ergo, I adore Growlithe.

He is, of course, a fire type which are rare enough to be worth catching whenever you come

across them anyways, a pretty color scheme, and a design that just makes you wanna boop

the heck out of his snoot and call him a good doogo.

But if you want something more substantial than that, he's also the first fire-type

Pokemon you can get in Red and Blue if you chose the correct starter, and just before

the grass gym too, which makes that a cakewalk.

He's amazing.

What else can you say but, "GROWLITHE!

GROWL-Uhg, I suck at this.

Hold on, I'm gonna call in a professional.

Boop boop boop Boooooop.

Boooooop.

Hey, I need a Growlithe voice.

Okay cool, here, I'll put him on.

Number 6: Magikarp Now there are a couple things I ADORE about

Magikarp.

Firstly, I love it's design.

The idea of this Pokemon is that it's absolutely worthless, and and nothing says worthless

quite like a thousand yard stare and a stupid moustache.

But at the same time, it's also an immediately striking design, with the bright red immediately

grabbing your attention, and the pale yellow doing a great job contrasting with it.

And second, some of my all time favorite Pokemon are the ones that stand out from the crowd

via the unique stories you get in either obtaining or training them, and one of the best examples

of that is Magikarp.

So you get the Old Rod and immediately take it out for a spin, but all you can catch is

this worthless fish that only knows splash.

But you stick with it, and train him up by sending him out at the start of battles and

then switching out, which always made me wonder what the other trainer thought of that.

"Magikarp, go!

HI!

I CAN'T HIT ANYTHING!

BYE!"

But eventually, your efforts are rewarded as he reaches Lv. 20 and evolves into Gyrados,

and suddenly becomes a BEAST who can 1-Hit KO every Pokemon in the game.

Not only does that do a great job at making you bond with it and end up being an awesome

story, but I find Magikarp weirdly inspirational.

Like, even the most worthless, weakest Pokemon you can imagine still has the potential for

greatness somewhere inside it, and speaking as the most worthless, weakest human you can

imagine, that gives me hope.

Number 5: Slowpoke Slowpoke is amazing.

It's gimmick is that it's a pokemon so dumb that it's achieved nirvana and gained

psychic powers.

Like, it went so far down the scale of stupid, that it integer underflowed and came back

out the other side!

I also like the idea that it uses it's tail to fish for Pokemon, and it evolves if it

ever catches a Shelter, at which point they enter into a symbiotic relationship.

Also, his stupid face is adorable.

Number 4: Victreebel I've mentioned this a lot in the past, but

I am a lover of villains, the kind of kid who actively rooted for Jessie and James to

steal Pikachu.

As such, I always found myself having a bias towards the Pokemon they used.

If you had asked 6 year-old me what my favorite Pokemon was, I would've chosen "Koffing"

to the point that my father actually made me a Koffing cake for a birthday back then,

but these days, I think my favorite member of the original gang is one that's not as

well-remembered as Weezing and Arbok, James's' Victreebel.

Oh how I love Victreebel, let me count the ways.

First of all, his colors are great.

The Yellow and Green design with a red accent along his mouth works great and is extremely

visually striking.

Second, it's based off a venus fly trap, which is the objectively coolest plant of

all time.

["Uh, actually it's based on a Nepenthes, a type of tropical pitcher plant."]

So yeah, Venus Fly Trap.

Third and finally, I will never forget the sound it makes in the anime.

It's so weird, but somehow it fits really well!

So in conclusion, I'd let Victreebel swallow and dissolve me in acid, any day.

Number 3: Gastly Gastly.

Do I even need to explain myself with this one?

Honestly the entire line is incredible, but of them all, I think Gastly stands out for

just how it's so simple but at the same time so memorable!

It's a ball of gas with angry eyes, yet I don't think anyone would argue if I called

it one of/ if not the best ghost Pokemon of all time!

And not only that, but Gastly is also inextricably linked in my mind to The Ghost Of Maiden's

Peak episode of the anime, in which it has the starring role, and is the cause of 20

minutes of refined batshit insanity.

That episode has everything!

Horrifying imagery, references to real life animals existing alongside Pokemon, Misty

rips off the Exorcist and uses the Christian God which I guess exists now in the Pokemon

universe to compel Gastly to leave, Venusaur and Blastoise use Polymerization and fuse

together into Venotoise (Blastosaur?) and of course at the end it goes all Helen of

Troy on us as we see Misty in a yukata.

10/10, amazing Pokemon, it doesn't get any better than that!

Except it does, at least two more times.

Number 2: Eevee So let's give Eevee the number two spot,

and I'll personally take the, "Sun Rising In The Morning" award for the inevitability

of that pick.

But I can't help it, Eevee is beloved for a reason, because he's SO CUTE.

Eevee is (of course) the evolution Pokemon, and can evolve into an ever growing number

of different Pokemon, each of them being an exemplar of their respective type.

Just like with Growlithe, Eevee is a dog, and dogs are wonderful, so Eevee is wonderful.

Also just like Growlithe, you can get him before the Grass gym in Red and Blue, and

if you evolve him into a Flareon, it becomes a walkover.

Honestly Eevee is just a better version of Growlithe with more options, but hey, there's

room enough in my heart for all the doggos of the world.

Number 1: Abra I talked about how awesome Pokemon that give

memorable experiences are, but more so than Magikarp, Abra really steals the show in that

regard.

Imagine it: you're playing Red and Blue, and you're in the grass outside of Cerulean,

you get a random encounter, and it's an Abra.

At that moment, your asshole clenches so hard you could use it to crack walnuts, because

you know, you only get ONE chance.

If it succeeds, you'll have a psychic Pokemon with incredible potential to help you for

the rest of your run.

But the only move that Abra knows is teleport, so you can't lower it's healthy any, and

if your first Pokeball fails, it's gone, and because Abra only has a 15% encounter

rate, with your luck, it could be the only one you see for the next half hour.

So you throw your only Pokeball.

You're mashing down and B as hard as you can, and praying to Arceus that just this

once, it stays in the ball.

I have that experience once a playthrough, and it's always one of the most memorable

parts for me.

That combined with Abra's OP-ness, especially back in Red & Blue, and a design that just

SCREAMS "Psychic" make him one of my all time favorites.

Make it Real: Kingsman Umbrella Gun! - Duration: 13:07.

We're from the Kingsman tailor shop in London maybe you've heard of us?

Today marks the beginning of a new age, I'm gonna show you it...

Hey guys I'm the Hacksmith and we take fictional ideas from comics movies and

video games and make it real! We've made Captain America's electromagnet shield

Batman's grappling hook gun complete with an ascension winch, Reinhardt's

rocket hammer and we've even made the plasma rifle from Mass Effect as well as

working on Zarya's particle cannon!

but I've always wanted to try and make some of the gadgets from Kingsman!

especially the umbrella!

Unfortunately I never really got around to it which is why I was super excited when 20th Century Fox

asked it will be possible to make a real-life version of the umbrella

because Kingsman the Golden Circle which is the sequel is coming out soon and the

umbrella is back and more badass than ever!

so what do you think is it possible to make it real let's find out but first

we're going to need a good quality umbrella

and as it turns out a good quality umbrella is pretty durable!

so you can definitely use an umbrella good melee weapon but the best defense

is a good offense so let's make this shoot and to do that we're gonna be

using these co2 cartridges because they pack a punch with over 800 psi inside

now we're gonna use a tire inflator and we tried a few different brands but we

found this is the best one if you have a tube simply attach the tire inflator and

bam you got yourself a blowgun not bad alright let's modify the umbrella now

first we need to remove the tip and ream out the barrel now I've already removed

the handle but in order to actually shoot something through the shaft we'll

actually have to remove one of the retaining pins so there's another piece

here that's crimped on as long as that stays in place the umbrella will remain

fixed even though we took out that pin as you can see we have a nice clear

barrel now which means we can use it to shoot projectiles now here's where a few

things get tricky because we're basically turning the shaft of the

umbrella into a pressure chamber that means we can't have any holes especially

where this trigger is so what we're gonna do is we're actually gonna run a

piece of hose past the trigger then we're gonna drill a hole and fill it

with glue so we actually have a seal here alright so we have a tight seal with the

glue now you can blow the hose

and no air comes back through this hole and now we load in a blow dart

attach our air supply...

that one was real, I actually hit it!

Look at that! Well not quite bullseye, it's pretty damn close though.

not too bad eh? pretty accurate too - now in addition to the blow darts we've also

made some other ammo including these metal slugs as shown in the movie

next up let's add the most iconic feature of the umbrella adding a screen

so you can see through it

now the projector module inside this is actually quite small it's this little black

box here which is actually only connected by this ribbon cable so it

would actually be possible to make this quite a bit smaller the only problem is

the circuit boards are going to be tricky to place in the umbrella anywhere

so this is actually probably the most compact we're getting it

now to make sure the projected image covers most of the umbrella we're gonna have

convert it to an ultra short throw type projector which we can do so using a

wide angle lens meant for a cell phone camera

now the battery it came with is a bit awkward to fit into the handle of an

umbrella so we're going to switch it over to the 18650 battery

alright so the projector works and we can make it shoot but how do we do those

two things together we're gonna have to design a custom handle!

Now I tried prototyping a few different handles until I settled on this design which

lets us put almost all the components inside the handle so lets 3d print it.

Now the final handle isn't too much bigger than the original but I could have made

a lot smaller if I wasn't using off-the-shelf consumer parts foreseeably

it would be possible to make it as compact as the one shown in the movies

if I had access to better components

The umbrella's packed with great technology and just like any firearm has a safety!

...If you turn it on!

This is a good suit! "where'd it go?" What do you mean where'd it go?

This could ricochet back at us...

Well it did hit me!

Good thing it went to the right!

Otherwise Ian would have got slug to the face! Good thing he has protection on!

But let's test that now!

WARNING! Do not try this at home.

"Can we like not try this here either?"

What? "What"

What you say? *stares threateningly*

Alright time to test the face shield!

That was way better, shot gun mode is awesome!

And one of the best features? Tactical vision.

It's honestly probably one of the coolest things I've made so far.

it's just so awesome being able to see through it making it the perfect shield

Well I think he's dead...

Should probably make sure though...

"BANG"

Now unfortunately it would be almost impossible to make it bullet proof but for airsoft it's pretty awesome.

China's Thriving Pet Industry // Touring a Chinese Pet Market - Duration: 4:38.

Hey guys, today we're walking around Chengdu, China's pet market and we're

doing a little bit of shopping actually. Sara's a biology teacher. She has a fish

tank in her classroom, so we're looking for a few supplies for that, but I also

wanted to talk to you guys today about pets in China and how the whole industry

is growing really quickly. They're becoming more and more popular.

This is pretty overwhelming. There's a hedgehog over here.

So China is currently sitting at number three as far as dog population - dogs as

pets - which is pretty good, but considering the population of China - they

have about four times as many people as America and about half as many dogs. So

it's still growing. It's a market that has lots of room to grow.

Oh my god! Kitties!

That's so cool.

So according to goumin.com, it's a pet website in china, they say that the pet

industry is growing about 32.8% a year and has been since 2010 and will

continue to grow at that rate until 2020.

That is a huge turtle.

So why are pets becoming more popular in China now?

Well, some people say it's a sign of wealth. People that are buying them to show off.

If you have a pet it shows that, you know, you have extra spending money. I don't

know if that's the case for sure, but I do see some pets that are, like, really

groomed up to look like pandas, poodles with dye jobs, like things that you would

only do just to attract attention. It could also just relate to these people

have more money, so they can afford to have the pets now, they've always wanted

pets and now they can get them.

Interestingly enough though, the facts

show that the majority of pet owners in China are between the age of twenty and

thirty five actually seventy three point two percent of pet owners. You've got to

wonder if all the cute cat videos that are spread all over social media these

days have something to do with that.

Where are we going in here? This is uh...

dark and mysterious.

So if I was gonna spend some money on an industry in China, I think the pet

industry would be a pretty good choice. A lot of people are spending money on

grooming, on pet sitting, bathing their pets, all kinds of stuff. Even - uh,

subscriptions to dog television. Television for your dog. Plus on top of

that, you got all your your fees for food and medical bills.

Is that a groundhog?

Get some snacks? Yeah!

Ok, we're headed out and we got what we needed

some fish food, some plants. We didn't buy any animals, but there were quite a

have to face extreme adversity - it's your determination and your courage

and your resoluteness that - in the new future, new ideas - is possible.

[Denise] OK. [Lori] So it's really an action mindset and that's a key aspect that researcher

Emilia Lahti talks about. It's your being able to see

beyond limitations that you're currently facing and you do something to shape

your future. So you take action around that. [Denise] Oh, I like that. Can you give me

an example, like in your own life, how you practiced or called on Sisu? [Lori] Yeah, so

when I think about Sisu, I think about triathlon and doing Half Ironman and

thinking about like running or biking and pushing yourself to different limits

and when you're really physically tired and mentally you having these blocks.

You want to kind of quit and you're pushing yourself through

the pain and you think, I can do this. I can get the other end. So I think about

that as, at least, moments that are cultivating Sisu in my life. She also

talks about thinking about that and reflecting on those moments as ways to

kind of recall it in other aspects of your life as well or thinking about

historical moments or people in history who you can think of who had to just kind

of push through adversity and to cultivate that to grow Sisu for

The skunk2 alpha lower control arms,

arrived for my civic ek.

According to Skunk2 :

Skunk2 Alpha Rear Lower Control Arms are direct replacements for the factory OEM arms,

and are ideal for street and race applications.

These can be fitted to any 1996 - 2000 Honda Civic (CX, DX, EX, GX, HX, LX, Si).

most of us will find the alpha lca's pricey and the ultra's super pricey !

this arm is missing the pin ! (skunk2 send a replacement pin)

it came like this from the factory !

check out the grooves on the bushing,

they are there for extra lubrication.

also notice the 2 sway bar mounting points

one is oem location and other for a harder set up.

For improved bushing life,

the latest materials were used,

and a high-precision spherical bearing on the trailing arm side was utilized to reduce twist at the inboard bushing.

Even though a second spherical bearing for the inboard pick up point is offered as a racing upgrade,

The first two groups that went through this program helped us to identify some advice

to give to you before you get started

#1 Find a buddy or a group

When you interact with other participants it means increased confidence: people to reach

out to, to ask questions, share ideas, and get feedback.

Now, some people are perfectly content to go through the program on their own without

too much interaction - that relates to their own learning needs and preferences.

But others find that they need some kind of feedback to stay engaged.

If this is your first online course, this is something you'll be finding out about

yourself!

With the self-paced nature of this course, there's no guarantee anyone will be in the

course at the same time as you and providing timely feedback.

So we recommend that you make the effort to identify people to interact with.

Maybe you can find a colleague at work to go through the program at the same time.

Or reach out to colleagues on an email discussion list.

You can also use the forums within D4L to find other people going through at the same

time, and try to work in sync with them.

Or, if nothing else, get a supervisor, a potential student, or even a family member to review

your work periodically and discuss it with you.

#2 Try synchronous meetings

some people find it really helps to talk to other students in real time, to hear their

voice, or see their face

#3 Set a schedule for yourself

One student said "If it's asynchronous, it's important to block out time on my calendar

like with a synchronous class, otherwise I'll put it off forever."

Learners who go through without at least setting personal deadlines don't make it very far.

Be realistic about your other commitments and work around them.

#4 Start at the beginning of the month

Without specific due dates, this will help to keep track of weekly expectations and to

be starting in sync with other students.

Finally #5 Allow for extra time

Life and work get in the way.

For your first time through developing online instruction, much of the process will be new

to you and will take longer.

Don't worry: with practice, you will streamline your process and get faster

How To Dribble Like Christian Pulisic For Beginners - Duration: 3:41.

Hi, guys, I'm Saul from MyPersonalFootballCoach.com,

and today, I'm going to give you the beginner's guide

to the top five tips to dribble like Christian Pulisic.

Here we go.

Number one: Dribble with your laces.

The big misconception or common error a lot of people make

when they're learning how to dribble is

they dribble with the inside of your foot.

You want to try and dribble with your laces,

so toe pointed down, pushing the ball out with your laces.

You might even have a slight angle of your foot,

to get that quality touch with your laces,

keeping that ball pushing out.

This is a much more efficient way to move,

a much more efficient and quicker way to move with the ball.

So remember: dribbling out with your laces, quality touches.

Number two: push the ball out in front of you,

so use your laces, getting those quality touches,

pushing the ball out in front of you.

So we recommend learning,

when you're first learning to dribble,

trying in a straight line

lots of quality little touches

lots of positive touches with your laces

keeping that ball pushed out nicely in front of you.

Number three: keep the ball close to your body.

Now you're getting better, your quality touch

with your laces, you're pushing out in front of you

you wanna try to move at speed

but you also want to try and stay close to the ball.

Our body is nearly over the ball

so it may be quicker, positive touches

but not too far away, I don't let

the ball get away from me, so I'm always

trying to keep close control of that ball

so I can move any time I want to in any direction.

So remember, quality touches,

but keeping that ball close to your body.

Number four: keep your head up.

Look where you're going.

We always say the best players in the world

play with their heads up,

they know what's going on around them.

Especially when you're learning how to dribble,

it's about quality touches, moving at speed,

I wanna know where the ball is,

so we can look down, it's fine, but also

getting my head up and knowing what's around me.

Be that player who knows what's coming.

Don't be the player who is just

looking at the ball all the time

and bumping into things and dribbling into danger.

Be the clever player who knows what's around them

and is dribbling away from the defenders

and creating danger instead.

Number five: cuts to turn.

So now we're dribbling at speed,

we're quality, looking where we're going in a straight line

try experimenting, going in different directions

left and right, recommend using the inside and outside

of your foot to cut the ball in different directions.

Think about, if you can, keeping your toe pointed down

getting quality touches with the side of your foot

with the top of the side of your foot on that ball

to shift the ball left and to the right

and maybe try and change direction as well, 180 degrees.

This is really important to think about

turning with quality and having control of that ball.

This will make you that effective soccer player.

This will make you that player who can create problems

like Pulisic and create and score goals.

Here's a little practise I put together,

it really helps you practise your dribbling,

a simple little zig-zag practise

which will help you practise not only your laces dribbling

but also your cuts inside and outside.

So practise dribbling around the cones.

Weave and snake like dribbling around the cones

using the inside and outside of your foot

to change direction and the inside of your foot

to touch the ball out when you're in between the cones.

Remember, the best players in the world

can dribble effectively, these are the ones that

are game changers, can you be that game changer?

D4L Orientation Week 1: Forum Notifications - Duration: 3:59.

Welcome back to our video series about using Moodle for Design for Learning.

Let's talk about notifications about forum posts.

On your Dashboard page, when you first log in, by default new forum posts should be highlighted

there below the title of each course.

Then on our course page, let's scroll down to our first forum.

Next to each forum title, the number of unread posts will be highlighted if you have tracking

turned on, which you should by default.

Then there's a third place I want to show you, where you can see your settings.

From the main course page, go to the Activities block.

Click on forums.

Then you'll see a table of all the forums within this course.

With the default settings, you'll see the title of the forum, a description, the number

of discussions so far, and the number of unread posts.

They'll be highlighted here, and you can click to go straight to them.

The next 3 columns in the table give you some choices.

Under the Track column, there's a button for each forum to toggle the tracking on and

off.

By default, this will be on, and makes it easier to see/find new posts.

I can't imagine why you would want to turn that off, but it is an option.

Under the Subscribed column, there's a button for each forum to toggle your subscription

on and off.

By default you will be subscribed to all forums, and you'll get email notifications for new

posts.

Again, we recommend leaving this default setting.

Under the Email digest type column, there's a drop down for each forum to choose which

kind of email notification you would like.

By default you will get an email digest once a day with a listing of the subjects and senders

of all new forum posts for any course you are enrolled in.

This is our preferred setting because it helps you keep on top of new posts, but you need

to log in to the Moodle to read them, which encourages you to remain more active in the

program and helps us track engagement.

You can click on the little question mark icon to read about the other options, but

we recommend you keep this default setting.

Even if you like all these defaults, it's good to know how to access these settings.

That way if for some reason you are NOT getting notifications from a particular forum, you

can come here and make sure you're subscribed to everything.

In the next video, we'll finish up this tour by exploring other ways of communicating

beyond the discussion forums.

Apple Cider Vinegar apple cider vinegar is mildly acidic and can help prevent

toenail fungus from spreading at the same time it kills bacteria and fungi

use apple cider vinegar to treat toenail fungus mix equal parts of apple cider

vinegar and water soak your toenail in this solution for 30 minutes daily

when done dry your toenail thoroughly when used daily for a few weeks you will

notice improvement very quickly Baking Soda baking soda is a readily available

staple in most kitchens that can also be used to cure toenail fungus it will also

help neutralize foot odor add 1/2 cup of baking soda 1/4 cup of 3% hydrogen

peroxide and 1/2 cup of Epsom salt to 4 cups of hot water mix the ingredients

thoroughly and then add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to it soak the affected toenail

in this solution for about 10 minutes wash with clean water and dry your foot

thoroughly repeat the process twice daily for several week if you liked the

I know you may never read this,

but I just wanted to put it out there --

I live in Massachusetts.

I'm a country boy from small-town Mississippi.

I'm a two-time Olympian.

I'm the father of a nine-year-old.

I am a 99-year-old world traveler.

Every day for the last two-and-a-half years,

I have worn this tiny computer on my wrist.

This is the first time I've worn a watch

since my bar mitzvah.

I was a scrawny, sports-hating kid

who never really liked being active.

I was coming back from a knee surgery.

While I was never fat,

I was the proud owner of a dad bod.

I fell into a deep depression,

and weighed 250 pounds.

Now I get up at five a.m.

If it's five minutes to midnight,

I'll do pushups in my bedroom.

I'll take the dog out

for a really quick walk around the block.

I walk around the house

and my family thinks I'm a little crazy.

I dutifully oblige

Florida Republicans Say Spending Money On Hurricane Relief Is "Theft" - Duration: 4:41.

As most people are fully aware, the United States has been suffering from a slew of natural

disasters within the last month.

Of those disasters, hurricanes Harvey and Irma have proven to be some of the most destructive

storms that have hit the United States, at least within the same month span, in quite

some time.

Irma has devastated Florida.

Now, she's made her way through Georgia, South Carolina, causing widespread destruction.

Harvey, as we all know, caused massive flooding in the city of Houston, and Galveston, and

other areas that were impacted by this storm.

Congress, rightfully so, has been working on aid packages to help people put their lives

back together and to help rebuild the areas that were devastated by these natural disasters.

It would make sense, for members of Congress, whether Democrat or Republican, to vote in

favor of these aid packages.

This isn't reckless government spending.

This is helping American citizens continue to live, to give them their homes back, to

give them their schools, and roads, and bridges back.

Remember, it's not just personal property that was lost here.

Federal property, roads, bridges, police departments, schools, absolutely obliterated in this storm.

Don't tell that to two Republican representatives from the state of Florida, Matt Gaetz and

Ted Yoho, because those two idiots, from the state of Florida that was just devastated,

decided to vote against those aid packages.

Why?

Well, as Matt Gaetz tells us, because it would be generational theft.

The government just can't be spending all this money on things.

"It's the government's job to take care of people in times of crises," according to Gaetz,

"but come on now, we've got to have a limit on how much we can spend."

For the record, Matt Gaetz, is the idiotic congressman who originally proposed the piece

of legislation to completely abolish the EPA.

Unfortunately, he also happens to be my representative right here in the Florida panhandle.

To be honest, I am very seriously considering launching a campaign against him for 28, because

I'm so pissed off at everything I've seen this idiot do since the day he came into office.

Gaetz, your state, the majority of your state, maybe not our district right here, has been

devastated by Hurricane Irma.

Same thing with you, Ted Yoho.

Your district actually did get pretty much destroyed, and you have the audacity to go

up there in Washington DC and say, "You know what?

You guys don't deserve any aid.

What about future generations?

What about the rest of the country?"

Let me tell you something.

If you think you have enough money to start giving shit away to millionaires and billionaires

in the form of tax breaks, but you don't have enough money to take care of people who lost

everything, then you're in the wrong business, then this country has the wrong priorities,

because that's what Republicans are trying to do.

They're saying, "To hell with the victims.

We're going to go ahead and give more money to millionaires, and billionaires, and corporations

who are polluting and destroying this country both physically and economically, because

we don't give a damn about you.

Oh.

You lost everything, and the federal government is out millions, possibly billions, of dollars

because we can't repair the roads and schools and bridges.

Well, oh well.

These millionaire donors of mine need tax breaks."

That's what these Republicans are saying.

I sincerely hope that both of these men, that this is their last term in Congress.

They are selfish, disgusting, immoral.

I don't even want to continue that list of adjectives because it's going to get a little

not safe for work if I have to.

These are horrible human beings, Matt Gaetz and Ted Yoho.

That's the bottom line.

They want to give more money to millionaires while people in their own state are suffering,

wondering how they're going to put their lives back together, many not ever be able to fully

do that.

But, that's what you get when you vote Republican.

5 Things I Hate In France - Duration: 8:23.

Yay, we're doing the complaining video because who doesn't love those

Admit it, you love to hate!

So here are five things I don't miss from France.

number one: Water

France has different building codes than in America

And this is one thing you might notice right off the bat

because there are no drinking fountains anywhere

In America of course buildings are required to have a certain number of drinking fountains depending on many Factors

However the point is you do not need to go that far to find suitable drinking water.

this is not the case in France if you happen to become thirsty you have three options

drink from the faucet in the bathroom

Bring you around water or buy water.

the idea of drinking water from the faucet in the bathroom is still an eww sort of idea

Especially public bathrooms because I don't know how often those things have been cleaned

The second option to bring your own water is of course the best

Provided that you remember to bring it. I always have plans to bring water

I put it in the fridge, so that it's cold and that's where I leave it

because I'm awesome

So if you're like me, and you forget to take your bottled water

that means you have to buy water

however the French add magnesium to their water

so much magnesium, but the water has left them drinkable in my opinion

Why do you do this?

I've asked that question and the response is so so

French

They add Magnesium to the water otherwise it wouldn't have a taste

I don't understand this answer because it's water!

it's not supposed to have a taste.

If you want something with flavor you can have your choice of literally every other beverage,

but the one drink that is tasteless and magical you ruined it

Boo!

This wouldn't be so irritating to me if there were non magnesium bottled waters available

But there aren't. They all have them!

I do not miss the crappy magnesium water

number two

Seeds!

I don't like fighting with my food. Which is why I avoid certain one

Take way too much effort to eat

I don't want to have to play hide and seek in my mouth.

It ruins the overall eating experience for me.

I'm hungry!

And I just want to eat my food in a reasonable ten minutes time not spend an hour picking things out.

France has this amazing selection of grapes.

Except they all have seeds, all of them!

So many seeds

and yes, I know you can eat grape seeds

and they can be healthy for you blah blah blah blah blah

if you do that great!

I don't like that crunchy texture. I don't want to eat them

And this issue doesn't stop with grapes

They do it with watermelons too!

but my family we're seedless kind of people

number three

Anything Administrative!

This is complete speculation, and it's 100% true

in my opinion

The French government hates trees.

In an effort to Destroy this enemy,

They have created a new kind of administrative process

It isn't like I'm the only person who hates it, French citizens hate it as well!

I know because they constantly complain about it.

I don't know why the hate trees

But it's a very effective plan which kills so many of them each and every year

if you choose to live in France

You will be consumed with paperwork.

I'm not just referring to the paperwork that I need to do as a foreigner.

I also mean everyday life.

Want to open a bank account?

Mountain of paperwork!

Are you sick and me to go to the doctor?

Well! There's paperwork for the doctor, for the laboratory, for the pharmacy, and then for your insurance

Four trees died!

Want to move?

Well don't expect it to be too quick besides all the paperwork involved in buying a house

There's also the registration that you'll need to do at Town Hall

Have children?

Great! You get benefits for them! Provided you do the paperwork

Oh Paperwork, I don't miss you! Not even a little bit!

This is a phrase that has multiple meanings. It doesn't matter. Don't worry about it. It's not a problem.

This could be an exaggeration, It's not! but it could be, even though It's not!

You know how in all those end of the world movies Paris is the first place that gets taken out

I'm 100% convinced, but if you found some french person until them hey

Paris is being taken out their response will be

Bauf Ce n'est pas grave.

why are you all so freakin chill?

Do you have any idea how freaking stressful this attitude is?

I have this overwhelming need to freak out even more just to Compensate for Ce n'est pas grave.

And you might be thinking well Kathryn perhaps you're just overreacting

uh-huh my friend no no no no no

Let me tell you some of the situation's I've been in that have been Categorized as ce n'est pas grave.

Working to get my residency card and being told that I have to have all this paperwork

By a deadline and knowing before I left I wasn't gonna make it that's an it.

That's ce n'est pas grave. because my getting deported really isn't an issue

Going through the process of obtaining health insurance

But not actually having it yet and then getting sick and needing to go to the hospital

Ce n'est pas grave.

Because apparently the french government is giving out money trees, and I can just go pick up euros from it!

Yay, awesome!

No!

We have a leak and we need to replace the roof, but cannot find anyone to come and do it

Ce n'est pas grave! You know, because you can catch the water in pots and

It's not like water damage is expensive

or can cause things like mold and it all ce n'est pas grave....

I will say that in the end all of these things turned out to not be an issue. We got through it. We're survivors

We're still living however. I still hate that phrase in that stupid attitude.

Why can't we all just freak out together?

The complaining

this is the French national pastime

And there's nothing wrong with complaining except that nobody likes whiners

Also it's negative and that gets old really fast.

those aren't the issues though.

My problem is I always take complaining the American way

See if you talk to someone back home and they start complaining at you

That's typically their polite way of saying that you're doing something that's problematic and you need to fix it

This isn't the french way at all

They just do it to do it

and points in case involves my children's school

in France tou can start school at age two

So we do this the french and sent ours to school however the teacher kept complaining about the children

I got the impression, that she was overwhelmed and just couldn't handle them

This was around the time that my husband had been let go and so neither of us were working

So it wasn't necessary for us to have our children in school thus I offer to pull them out

Because I could handle them and from my perspective children start school at 5

This situation worked out, and they ended up staying in school however

This is something I fall for each and every time it always happens that somebody complains

And I respond the incorrect way and that is just one thing I am not gonna Miss

Those are five things that I do not miss from France

But I have been learning Arabic for two years

And I wanted to talk about my favorite thing about the language

And my favorite thing about the language is

that you can make an entire sentence out of one word

I'll give you an example

I'm going to use the verb "arrest"

If you want to say "They did not arrest me, in English"

You need to use 5 words

But in Arabic we can express the same meaning with a word, with one word only

This word is just one word, but it has the same meaning as "They did not arrest me"

And in my opinion, this shortcut is the best thing about Arabic
