Kyrie Irving Is Back to Claiming the Earth Is Flat - Duration: 3:54.

What's up, guys?

I'm Frazier here for Complex News.

Kyrie Irving turned the NBA world upside-down and caused chaos among middle school teachers

all across the country back in February when he revealed that he doesn't believe the

Earth is round.

Even though the Earth being round is something that has been scientifically proven, Irving

came right out and said that he believes the Earth is actually flat.

Kyrie Irving via Road Trippin' podcast "This is not even a conspiracy theory.

The Earth is flat."

NBA fans and NBA writers killed Irving for his comments, with some going as far as to

call him irresponsible for questioning whether or not the Earth is round.

Irving obviously has a lot of young fans, and many people didn't think it was a good

idea for him to take the position he did.

The aforementioned middle school teachers, in particular, complained about how some students

were openly following Irving's lead and creating havoc in their classrooms with their

own flat Earth theories.

It took him awhile to distance himself from his comments, but in late September, Irving

finally revealed that he wasn't actually a flat Earth truther like so many people believed.

Rather, he admitted that he simply said the Earth was flat to get a rise out of people

and to prove a larger point.

By trolling America, he said that he proved that there are far too many people who believe

the things they're taught without ever questioning them.

Kyrie Irving via The Toucher and Rich Show "It was all an exploitation tactic.

It literally spun the world—your guys' world—it spun it into a frenzy and proved

exactly what I thought it would do in terms of how this all works.

It created a division…and let all these people throw tomatoes at me or have somebody

think I'm somehow a different intellectual person because I believe the Earth is flat

and you think the Earth is round.

It created exactly that…It proved what I thought it would."

At the time, Irving said that he was simply trying to conduct a social experiment with

his flat Earth comments, which suddenly made all the sense in the world.

It explained why he spent so much time trying to convince people that he really thought

the Earth was flat, and it forced most people to move on from the topic and excuse Irving

for the comments he made.

But now, Irving has added another layer to this ongoing story by talking about his flat

Earth theory again.

And he still doesn't sound like a guy who's 100 percent convinced that the Earth is round.

During an appearance on the premiere episode of UConn women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma's

new podcast, Holding Court, Irving suggested that there's still a part of him that thinks

the Earth might be flat.

And he even went as far as to say that he doesn't think we've ever seen a real photo

of the Earth.

to bash science.

It wasn't to like have the intent of starting a rage and be seen as this insane individual.

When I started seeing comments and things about universal truths that I had known, like

I had questions.

When I started actually doing research of my own and figuring out that there is no real

picture of Earth, not one real picture of Earth—and we haven't been back to the

moon since 1961 or 1969—it becomes like conspiracy, too."

Irving's comments have inevitably led to more rage among NBA fans who can't believe

Irving is revisting this topic and sharing his flat Earth theory again.

Some are in disbelief about how dead-set he is to try and prove that he's not wrong.

"Kyrie Irving still has not let go of his flat earth theory.

He is solid and content in his wrongness.

It's amazing, truly."

Others have told him about how easy it is to find a photo of Earth.

"Kyrie says 'that there is no real picture of earth.'

Kyrie, apparently, doesn't believe in Google either"

But mostly, people have pleaded with Irving to simply stop talking about the Earth being

flat.

"KYRIE PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT THE EARTH THANKS"

Maybe Irving is conducting another social experiment here and we just don't realize

it yet.

Or maybe he really believes what he's saying.

But either way, it's clear that he's not going to budge from this particular belief.

The Earth is flat in his mind, and there's no changing that.

Rush Hour Director Brett Ratner is Accused of Sexual Misconduct - Duration: 2:57.

Hey everyone, Frazier here for Complex.

In the weeks following The New York times initial report on Harvey Weinstein, unveiling

his storied history of sexual harassment, misconduct, and later, assault a wave of similar

exposes have followed outing similarly high-powered Hollywood execs for similarly disturbing patterns

of behavior.

The most recent name on the list *was* Kevin Spacey...until today.

The Los Angeles Times went live this morning with an investigation in which several actresses

and other women accuse director and producer Brett Ratner of sexual harassment and in one

case assault.

Ratner is famous for helming the Rush Hour franchise, the first bad X-Men movie, and

most recently producing movies like Horrible Bosses and The Revenant.

The most serious allegation comes from actress Natasha Henstridge whom you know from movies

like Species or The Whole Nine Yards.

She claims Ratner forced her to perform oral sex on him when she was 19 years-old after

a gathering at his apartment ended with her being the last guest present.

"He strong-armed me in a real way.

He physically forced himself on me.

At some point, I gave in and he did his thing."

When the Harvey Weinstein story first broke a few weeks ago, Henstridge raised eyebrows

with this tweet, which has come into horrifying focus now.

Elsewhere in the story, Olivia Munn recounts her now infamous encounter with Ratner, which

she'd previously detailed in her 2010 book "Suck It, Wonder Woman."

In it she says Brett masturbated in front of her on the set of his caper film After

Sunset.

His response to that allegation was to say that he actually quote "banged" Olivia,

only to later admit that was a lie to Howard Stern.

Munn says Ratner later confronted her about her allegations in person at a Hollywood party,

allegedly saying "Why do you hate me?" then detailing that he masturbated on 10 of

her magazine covers.

There's also an account from actress Jamie Ray Newman, who stars on Netflix's upcoming

The Punisher.

She says she met Ratner on a flight, where he openly and loudly detailed what he would

like to do to her orally.

Katharine Towne, daughter of famed screenwriter Robert Towne, says Ratner cornered her in

the bathroom at a party once, to the point where she gave him her number just so she

could escape.

Ratner would pursue a date with her for the following 6 months before finally backing

off.

Ratner of course didn't provide comment for the story but his lawyer is all over it,

profusely refuting all the claims on Brett's behalf.

To the Katharine Towne story, for example he says:

"Even if hypothetically this incident occurred exactly as claimed, how is flirting at a party,

complimenting a woman on her appearance, and calling her to ask her for a date wrongful

conduct?"

It's worth noting this is the same Martin Singer who represented Bill Cosby in sexual

assault cases as well, so, yea.

Prominent Hollywood figures like Jessica Chastain, Jamie Chung, Amber Tamblyn and Asia Argento

have since shared the story and lent credence to its claims.

"I know a woman who was too scared to go on record for this story.

I stand with them all.

This is not easy to do"

As per Amber's tweet this probably won't be the last we hear of this troubling story.

Growing in the Winter Season - Duration: 7:05.

Hi I'm Erin.

Here on the ranch calves are the main source of income.

It was clear to Mike and I very early on that we needed to diversify our income sources.

Farmers' market was a natural fit.

This winter that diversification continues with winter growing.

Crops will be planted in our high tunnel, with no heat and harvested when there's

snow on the ground and the temps don't get above freezing.

Let's hope this works on Our Wyoming Life.

When Mike and I came to the ranch in 2008 and left our office jobs in radio, gardening

was never my plan.

But in 2010 everything changed.

My mom saw a few sentences in the local paper stating that the farmers' market was moving

locations and looking to expand.

We had always gardened when I was a kid and it was something that I felt I knew how to

do.

I was also pregnant with our oldest daughter Mackenzie and I was looking for a way to help

provide some income for our family, besides the cows, without me having to go to work

and leave the ranch and soon leave our newborn daughter at home or daycare.

So in the summer of 2010 we gardened for our family just like we always did.

Whatever crops we had extra of went to farmers market.

A few jars of jam were made and after attending a handful of markets I was hooked.

Mackenzie was born in January and that spring I became a market farmer.

I didn't know what a market farmer was but that's what I was doing.

The big garden was tilled and fenced giving me an additional 8,400 square feet of space

to grow my crops.

Now instead of growing for just our family, we were growing for numerous families.

Since that first new garden was tilled a lot has changed.

We've had two more children, we started graining and finishing beef, the high tunnel

was built, pigs were purchased and grained, an orchard was planted and another high tunnel

will go up this spring.

The mission to provide additional income for our family has never wavered.

It just simply evolves and changes depending on our capabilities and the demand from our

customers.

We are now venturing into new territory in the gardens.

Crops will now be planted and tended too year round.

There is no longer an off season.

Last spring we dabbled with winter growing and successfully grew lettuce, radishes and

spinach during March and April.

Now it's time to get serious about winter growing.

More crops will be planted and by spring the entire space of the high tunnel will be filled

with cold hardy crops.

Now here's the really crazy part of this winter growing plan.

We have no heat in the high tunnel and won't be adding any.

The ground never freezes in the high tunnel and we will use that natural heat along with

more row cover and plastic to keep our plants going year round.

It's going to freeze in there.

That's just the reality but with the right crops selection and by capturing as much heat

as possible this is going to work, we think!

Now before anything is planted for winter summer crops have to come out.

This is the main reason we need an additional high tunnel.

One for winter and one for summer.

That way we are not having to fight for space and crop seasons don't have to be cut short

when it's time to plant the next crop.

Cucumbers were pulled mid summer as they were not producing very well and it was too hot

for them this year.

Scallions and 3 rows of carrots replace the cucumbers.

Next, out come the tomatoes.

We did cut the tomato season somewhat short.

They would have been fine for another few weeks but seeds needed to go in the ground.

Plus with the shorter days and cooler temps the tomatoes weren't growing very much at

this point anyway.

All the green tomatoes are picked and they will turn red and be processed into salsa

to be sold this winter at market.

Mike gets the dirty job of tilling the soil.

Everything then gets raked and leveled out.

Now armed with stakes, string and a tape measure, more planting can happen.

All the beds will be measured out and each will have a different crop in it.

The beds where the seeds will go are 30 inches wide and 12 inches will be left between the

beds for walkways.

More carrots get planted to finish out the 30 inch bed.

Tomatoes were in the way when the first planting was done.

Next spinach is sprinkled over the bed and then lightly raked into the soil.

Radishes are planted the same way.

Finally one more bed of carrots also get planted.

A sprinkler is set in the middle and turned on to get everything wet.

It'll be very important in the next few weeks to keep the top layer of soil wet while

the seeds are germinating.

If the seed coat dries, it dies.

There is more space remaining the high tunnel for additional crops.

The peppers from this summer still need to be pulled and that will happen here shortly.

The space they currently occupy won't be planted until February or so.

Once our days start getting longer lettuce will be transplanted as well as broccoli,

kale and pea seeds will be sown.

This winter our farmers' market is also expanding into the winter months.

For the first time we will have a once a month market starting in November and ending in

June.

I hope to have fresh, locally grown produce at every market.

That is a commitment I have made to my customers and I hope that I can deliver.

I'm not going to lie, I'm terrified.

I probably take all of this way to seriously but when I say that I'm going to do something

for our customers I feel I need to deliver.

One thing that we will be learning this winter is the timing of everything.

Crops are going to take longer with shorter days and cooler temps.

From the very beginning of my market farming career I thought I knew what I was doing,

but every year I learn so much more.

This winter gardening is really one big experiment.

It might fail.

But if it does we will figure out a way to solve the problems and keep putting seeds

in the ground.

If it's successful I'm going to be really very happy that I can grow year round, in

a zone 4, in Wyoming with no heat.

and what made Raven stay there

even when she was part of the team STRQ

is simethingg that I still don't get it

and I feel this is the moment to do it

because we know a bit more of Raven and her motivation in the present
