Youtube daily report Nov 4 2018

Morgue's are creepy, plain and simple.

I don't like hearing about them, I don't like looking at them, so of course I was the

ideal person the bring you a creepy list all about them.

And oh boy is this list creepy.

Any place that holds the dead for a period of time is bound to give us someone scary

gems to throw your way, so this is our list of the Top 5 Scariest Things Caught On Camera

In A Morgue.

Warning, I can't confirm the authenticity of all of the vids on our list, so don't

come for me in the comments.

But, do let us know which one creeped you out the most, and while you're down there

be sure to give this video a big thumbs up if you're a fan of creepy videos, and hit

that subscribe button while you're at it.

Ok, now that's covered, let's jump in.

5 Ghost Attack Now this one comes from a CCTV camera in a

hospital mortuary.

It's night time and everything seems to be normal until one of the gurneys outside

begins to roll around on it's own.

I mean, it could easily be credited to the wind but considering the other gurney as well

as the trees, are barely moving, I'm quick to say this is legit.

It intensely rolls around for a few seconds longer before tipping onto its side.

Another camera angle shows us a mortuary worker at a water fountain who becomes alarmed by

the movement and approaches the gurney, as he does though it rolls away from him and

the worker quickly flees.

4 Soul Leaving A Dead Body Now this video comes from a CCTV camera in

a hospital hallway.

What can be seen is a dead body covered by a sheet on the left side of the room.

Everything is normal for a few seconds before a ghostly figure begins to emerge out of the

deceased corpse before quickly disappearing.

Now this one I'm skeptical about.

I mean, I'm skeptical about almost everything on this list but this one in particular.

Considering how quickly the spirit disappeared and the awkwardness of its initial appearance,

I'm quick to assume someone crafted this up in iMovie.

But, what do you guys think?

3 The Shoe Thief Ok, before I continue, this one has yet to

be debunked, but I'm almost certain it's fake...well, I hope it's fake, because if

it's not I am well and truly terrified.

This one comes to us from a CCTV camera in the lobby of a mortuary.

We have two figures, who I initial thought were dead but quickly realized were just innocently

sleeping before the door swings open.

We can see no one is there, because, of course, this is a ghost vid, I would hope no one is

there.

We have a few moments of nothing before we see the legs of one of the men raise up in

the air before his entire person is pulled up and off the bed.

The guys reaction is alarmed and he looks truly horrified by watch just happened.

Still, I'm calling fake, but what do you guys think?

Ghosty shoe thief, or green screen magic?

2 The Ghost Now this video comes to us from a hospital

corridor -- don't worry guys, a morgue play into this story -- we see a handful of patients

sleeping on the ground, unaware of what is about to occur.

At the end of the corridor we see a shadowy figure emerge out of nothingness, appearing

to walk closer and closer to the unsuspecting sleeping patients.

It continues on for a few seconds longer before speeding down the corridor and out of sight.

Theories have speculated that it could be a spirit from the morgue below, but if so,

why is it in such a hurry?

What is it doing lingering by the sleeping patients.

I guess we will never know.

1 The Slamming Door This video is a classic gem that we just have

to bring back.

A morgue worker recorded this while on a nightshift, and honestly, it does not get less creepy

the more you watch it.

The worker whips out his camera after a door can be heard slamming in the distance, peering

through the glass we see flickering of lights and a red door moving back and forth.

The two workers go to investigate, moving closer to the commotion.

As they get closer the violent swings intensify, and it's pretty apparent that there's

no wind, you know, considering they're in a basement.

They halt the door, moving it back and forth, checking it's hinges and showing that there's

no sign of foul play or fault with the door itself.

I won't assume, but that was a ghost for sure.

Alright, there we have it.

What do you guys think?

Did any of these creep you out, or are you calling fake on all of these?

Let us know in the comments section below, and when you're down there be sure to give

this video a big thumbs up and turn on notifications so you can be notified everytime we post a

new scary vid, and until next time, see ya later.

What If The Quiet Place Monsters Were Real? - Duration: 4:49.

A quiet place is a science fiction horror film directed by John Krasinski.

It follows the story of a family facing the struggles of life in a post-apocalyptic world.

The family faces monsters that are blind but have a heightened sense of hearing.

They can hear absolutely everything, even something as quiet as a cough.

The quiet place was a huge box office success.

It grossed 338 million world wide.

But what if A quiet place wasn't just a film?

What if a quiet place, was real?

Hello and welcome back to life's biggest questions, the channel that imagines the impossible.

I'm charlotte dobre and if you haven't subscribed to life's biggest questions,

you're seriously missing out.

We cover so many topics, from horror films to science, from history to pop culture.

And by the way, if you're a fan of this channel, you'll love our sister channel

Inform Overload, where we make news more entertaining daily.

The year is 2020, and the earth is unrecognizable.

The earth's population of animals, as well as humans have been wiped out.

But they haven't been wiped out by nuclear Armageddon or climate change.

They've been wiped out by creatures of unknown origin.

These creatures, even though they are blind, they have indestructible skin and an acute

sense of hearing.

And when I say indestructible skin, I mean bulletproof, so you can't kill them with

guns, unless they open themselves up and become vulnerable.

They are likely space aliens that attack anyone and anything that makes noise, and can hear

noise from far away distances.

An invasion of these aliens would wipe out the worlds population extremely quickly.

I would give it a week before communications are lost.

Cities are the first to go, because they are extremely loud and populated.

The military cant kill these creatures because they are bullet proof and immune to explosives.

One or two months later, most of the worlds population would be wiped out, with the remaining

forced to move to rural areas to hide.

So what if there really were creatures out there that had wiped out almost all of earth's

population.

The only way to communicate with other humans becomes sign language.

Deafening silence is all anyone is used to.

If you needed to cough, or even fart, you would have to do so into a pillow.

No one can wear hard soled shoes, the only way to get around is by being barefoot.

Since everyone else has been wiped out, theres no such thing as internet or social media.

The only way to ensure that you're able to talk with these creatures around is if

there is something making a lot of noise nearby.

Things like a waterfall, that can mask the sound of voices, and most importantly, the

sound of babies, and the sound of women giving birth.

Before you go and say, well you could probably soundproof your house and that would protect

you, yeah I mean you could, but soundproofing doesn't cut out all noise and the act of

installing soundproofing in a room does make noise.

For a time, most uman hideouts would have to exist near huge waterfalls like niagra

falls.

It would be difficult for anyone with a newborn baby to live anywhere else on earth.

You can't tell a newborn baby to stop crying because if they don't, they and their entire

family will be killed.

Babies would have to be kept in soundproof boxes, which would be incredibly difficult

for both the babies and their families.

Krasinski said that the scene from the film where the baby was in the box was the hardest

to shoot out of all the scenes in the movie.

It was shot in two takes, but the entire crew on set was having a difficult time grasping

the concept of keeping a baby inside a box for a few minutes.

Imagine how people would feel if this was the only way for them to protect their newborns.

And have you ever told a pregnant woman to stop screaming from the pain?

The screaming is the only thing that gets them through it.

The only way mothers could give birth is near a waterfall, or even underwater, but then,

they risk drowning.

The difficulty would be too much for many to bear.

How could you live in a world where you can't protect your own children?

There would be mass suicides where people would simply scream and ultimately be killed

by the monsters.

But just because these aliens have incredible strengths that doesn't mean they don't

have any weaknesses.

It becomes apparent at the end of the film, a quiet place, that a way to ward off these

creatures is by magnifying the sound of feedback.

You know that unpleasant sound that a microphone makes when you put it near a speaker?

Yeah, these creatures hate that sound.

And it makes sense, given how acute their sense of hearing is.

When these monsters hear feedback, these creatures become disoriented and vulnuerable.

The way the protagonists ward off the aliens in the film is through the use of a hearing

aid, while putting the hearing aid up to a microphone.

Once people figured this out, the only way of surviving would be to live in places where

there is feedback playing constantly on loudspeakers.

And that would be pretty difficult.

Feedback is an unpleasant noise for whoever hears it, including humans.

People would still have to communicate using sign language for the time being, until all

the monsters are wiped out.

It would be difficult to relay news of the aliens weaknesses to other people, so groups

would have to discover this on their own, independently, or live out their entire existence

in silence.

Either way, it would be an extremely unpleasant life.

Well there you have it.

Top 10 Dumbest Soul Calibur Characters - Part 3 - Duration: 4:48.

I mean, was there ever any doubt that we wouldn't be back with a part 3 of this iconic list?

There are more and more dumb characters surfacing on the web every single day, so I don't

think we'll ever run out even if we wanted to, so this right here is the Top 10 Dumbest

Soul Calibur Characters Part 3.

Hey guys welcome back to Top 10 Gaming, I'm your host Lucy McPhee.

If you're a fan of dumb character customizations be sure to give this video a big thumbs up

and subscribe so you never miss another gaming vid.

Alright, let's jump in.

10 Waluigi Poor Waluigi, he always draws the short straw

in life, and this time is no different.

He's donning his classic white and purple attire, but this time, he has a nose even

Nicole Kidman in the hours would envy -- yep, I understand that's a reference only a select

few of you will get -- His nose looks like it fell off the snout

of a bird and someone super glued onto his face.

Those assholes!

9 Meat Man Now this is just a goddamn treat.

I don't even know where to begin quite honestly.

Let's start with the unfashionable flip-flops -- I get this meaty man is going for the beach

bod vibe, sporting some protective goggles to keep his peepers safe from those rays.

But what I really want to talk about is his inflamed dick.

Really.

I'm concerned about this guy, and the amount of viagra is presumably popping on a daily

basis.

His junk is made up of carrot and two tomatoes, you gotta get thos 5-a-day somehow.

Kill em with those veggies, kids.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7LmSjV1nCI (15:35)

8 Pink Guy We're getting straight to the point with

this one.

This is a guy, and he's pink.

Pretty simple.

He's donning some metal latex it appears, and just living his best pinky life.

Honestly, there's nothing more to say.

He's pink.

It's dumb.

7 Cuphead Everyone's new favourite video game character

makes an appearance here.

And oh boy, did he wrong someone, because he is all kinds of fucked up.

Seriously.

His face will haunt your dreams for a lifetime.

Sporting his classic red tapered shorts and smart black button up, this version of Cuphead

looks as though he made a deal with the devil, and his mission is to destroy all of humaity.

6 Kirby Oh Kirby, this loveable Nintendo character

has been wrong in SO many ways.

This pink little fella has been swallowed whole by this evil monstrosity and now he's

trying to break free.

You can see it in his eyes, the pain, the struggle, and his little mouth is screaming

for help.

Also, look at his little booties, so cute.

5 Carly Rae Jepsen It's times like these that I wish Kelly

Paoli were here.

Aka, the biggest Carly Rae J fan there is.

I would so love for her to witness this monstrosity of a creation.

Yes, a love to inflict visual pain on Kelly whenever I get the chance.

Also known as "Queen of the Gays", which I think is wrong on SO many levels, that title

clearly belongs to Madonna.

Carly Rae is sporting an iconic pride sweater, could just be a classic rainbow, but lets

go with pride.

She's also weilding a sword to slay all the haters, aka, me.

Come for me Carly, I dare you.

4 Ass Face Now this right here is a person with an ass

for a face.

Take a look.

Done?

Right, moving on.

3 Kylo Ren Kylo Ren, everyone's least favourite Star

Wars character...or is that just me?

Either way, I don't care.

He's dumb, right down to his oddly shaped torso, which will never EVER make sense to

me.

This user nailed every aspect of this goon.

From his shaggy hair, to his concerningly tight pants, to those infamous pecks.

This will haunt me in my dreams.

Han Solo is quaking from the grave.

2 California Raisin For those of you who don't know, The California

Raisins were a fictional rhythm and blues animated group from the 1980's.

I'm telling you this because I initially thought this was a bog standard raisin, boy

was I wrong.

This user nailed this customization.

From the glasses on the little raison head to his while gloves and little black and white

booties.

It's dumb yes, but cute as hell.

1 Pepisman I put this at number 1 for all you Pepis haters

out there.

I know there are A LOT of you.

Personally Pepis is my preference, so feel free to come for me in those comments.

The Pepsiman has always been dumb in my opinion, and also just plain terrifying.

He's a humanoid character sporting the classic Pepsi colours, and posing like he's ready

to fight off all those pepsi non-believers.

Were these dumb enough for you guys.

I mean, nothing can ever really top Bob Ross killing foes with a paintbrush, but I think

ass face and MeatMan really brought their A-games here.

Let us know in the comments below if there were any that we missed, and while you're

down there be sure to give this video a big thumbs up.

If you want to continue on with your gaming binge make sure to hit that playlist floating

above, and until next time, see ya later.

Review of the new WATER RUNNING technique "Fluid Running" - Duration: 8:42.

- Morning, Trainiacs.

We are headed to a place that I spend

it seems like a good 83% of my waking hours, Pan Am Pool,

to do what is surprisingly a very intense workout.

How'd you like that backwards walk?

I'm not just a pretty face.

Now, that workout involves

this tiny little gutter lane here,

a super cool aquacising belt

and some waterproof headphones.

It's water running.

By popular demand, I'm gonna tell you guys

how I was so very impressed with H2OGo and Fluid Running.

It's intense.

(energetic electronic music)

Woo, straight up, that was an honest workout.

That was 52 minutes, all water running.

It was intense.

There was some really good Taren grimace faces out there,

like you know the face that I make

in the slow-mo videos like.

(grunting)

Also, probably be a pretty good thumbnail like (grunting).

Because there's a kids' swim meet going on

on the side of you,

we're gonna have to talk about water running at home.

Deal?

Deal.

Lotta kids are looking at me funny right now, lots, lots.

(door creaking)

So Trainiacs, before you start saying hey,

you know, this water running,

it does not seem like a very good workout.

Well, this Fluid Running workout,

it was named one of the 20 best workouts in America by,

I think it was Men's Health Magazine,

and Alberto Salazar, who is probably one of the best known

running coaches in the world,

says that he gets his elite, his professional runners

to run about 25 to 33% of their total running time

in the water.

Still with me?

Wanna hear more?

Let's go.

Now, the reason why the workouts are so good is

because Jennifer has a very unique, to her,

at least it was like new to me,

running technique for water running.

All of the water running that I did last winter

while I was dealing with the achilles injury,

it really didn't tax me,

and I was like oh yeah, I dunno.

I guess if you're like 70 years old,

this would be a good workout,

but Jennifer reached out to me

after having watched those videos from last year,

and she said hey,

you know, I think we could probably give you a bit of a hand

with your running technique.

Lemme send you out some stuff.

In her technique, she guides you through it

in all of these audio files

that are in her Fluid Running app,

and it's not just like water running where you're painting

the bottom of the pool,

but it's also like cross country skiing,

and then she's pushing you on to go sprinting

at like alright now, we're doing 90%,

now 95, now max effort, now we're doing big cross country.

And all of it paired together,

I did that 52 minute workout today,

and at one point, I checked my heart rate

and I think it was 170.

170 in the pool!

That's really hard to do because with all the water pushing

on the side of your body,

it's hard for your heart to pump as fast

as when you're running on land.

and you're not bearing any weight,

and getting up to a heart rate of 170,

that's pretty intense.

It's a good workout.

So let's say you get all this at your pool

or you get it from Fluid Running,

and by the way, none of this is sponsored.

She sent this out to me,

but I was legitimately impressed with the workout,

so that's why I'm sharing it.

What do you do?

Well, number one, you have to make sure

that you put the belt like way low on your waist

so it's not in the way of your arms.

You tether yourself so that you don't float away,

and you pair whatever Bluetooth headphones you've got

to her app, which has nine different workouts in it

and, I think, 10 different how-to videos

that reinforce proper technique,

and the workouts last somewhere in between,

I wanna say it's like, the ones that I've done,

45 to 60 minutes, and Jennifer herself

is guiding you through all of the workouts,

pushing you harder than you probably would push yourself,

so you're gonna get a good workout.

Because she's breaking up the workout

into 15 second, three minute, 45 second,

minute and a half intervals,

the workout actually goes by really quick.

Last year, when I was doing the water running,

half an hour felt like hours.

Today, that 52 minutes, it felt like a 52 minute run.

Now, there are a few downsides to this.

Bring it in for some of these.

Number one, the workouts are fairly pricey.

They are $20 each.

I don't know why they are priced at $20,

but just kind of like knowing a little bit

about doing things online, that does seem pricey.

Second thing you're going to give up is muscle durability.

Your body needs some of that weight bearing

to increase your muscle durability

towards the end of a long race,

especially when you start getting

into half Ironman and Ironman.

That's why this shouldn't be the only running that you do.

It should supplement the running that you do,

just taking a little bit of the load off

of your weekly mileage.

You're also not going to build the efficiency

and all the movement patterns

that you will build by running very frequently

throughout the week.

If you run a lot, even just small amounts,

your body will start getting used to the feeling

of running, and because you're doing the motion

over and over and over,

what's known is that you end up building

a more efficient method of running.

Because you aren't necessarily running

with the exact same stride as when you're running,

you're gonna be giving up a little bit

of that efficiency building.

And then the last thing is something

that the Stryd running power meter measures

that I don't think this is gonna build up

is in that Stryd running power measurement

is a measurement called leg spring stiffness,

and this is very similar to muscle durability,

strength endurance running,

how long can you run without your form breaking down,

and you need to have very strong legs

that can perform a repetitive movement

under load over and over and over,

and if you're not building that load,

I'm not sure if you're going to be able

to build that leg spring stiffness

to carry your good technique through to the end of a race.

That's why I say it's a supplement to your running,

not your main running.

However, I do have a theory that because the water

is 800 times more dense than air,

you're putting more load on your body

and it's almost like heavy gear work on the bike,

which then does create more durability in a bike stride.

So I actually wasn't able to find any science

on whether that's the case or not,

but I think the theory, my theory,

and I'm a Canadian, so our science is like

Mr. Dressup and Fred Penner,

but I'm not sure which side of the science

water running falls on for that.

Water running, who's it for?

Well, it is for people like me

who want desperately to put a big focus

on improving their running

but every time they increase their running mileage,

they get injured, people like me.

You end up taking a little bit of load off your body

doing a movement that's fairly similar,

you build up your peripheral fitness with the arms

and get some nice snappy arms,

which help drive the hips,

which then helps drive your feet.

You do end up building a little bit of muscle strength

in similar movement patterns to the run

but not exactly, and you take a huge amount of load

off your body and decrease your likelihood of injury,

allowing you to run a little bit more

with less pounding on your body,

hopefully, we will find out, improving your run.

Or if you're already injured,

in which case, you can't run at all, this allows you to run.

So there you go, Trainiacs.

If you aren't already subscribed,

hit that subscribe button below,

and if you subscribed,

thank you for not being one of the dozens of people

who yelled at me while I was in the pool.

I was in the stinkin' gutter lane.

Nobody's in the gutter lane.

Holy smokes.

Later.

Republican Politician Creates A "Biblical Basis For War" Manifesto - Duration: 3:15.

You know, when you think about the crazies within the Republican party, you probably

think about what's happening in the White House or even what's happening over on Fox

News but the reality is that there are crazy Republicans all over this country.

And in fact, bout as far away as you can get from Washington DC, up in Washington state,

while still staying in the contiguous 48 here, you'll find one of the craziest Republicans

that I think I've ever had to report on and that is a man by the name of Matt Shea.

You see, Matt Shea is actually the author, possibly just the coauthor a document called,

A Biblical Basis For War.

Now Matt Shay has admitted, he admitted within the last week that, "Yes I wrote this Biblical

Basis For War, what's the big deal?"

Well here's the big deal Mr. Shea who is a four term Republican congressman in Washington

state, you call for absolute end to abortion and end to homosexuality an end to communism

in the United States, which isn't really even a thing anyway.

But then, you're not just calling for the end of things like that, you're saying, "If

they do not yield, kill all males."

If they do not yield, kill all males.

Mr. Shea, again four term Republican congressman in Washington state, believes that if we cannot

get rid of abortion or communism or homosexuality, if they do not adopt his pure Christian lifestyle,

we're going to straight up murder them.

That is what Matt Shea wrote in his manifesto.

Now Matt Shea says that this wasn't what he was calling for people to start doing.

This was just kind of a biblical study type thing.

This is what the Bible says, I'm just kind of saying it in here.

This isn't a call to action.

It's not actually a manifesto.

But that didn't stop the Spokane sheriff from actually sending it to the FBI and saying,

"Please investigate this guy because I believe that he is a threat to the population."

Not only did this dude write this manifesto calling for murder based on his alleged Christian

values, he also happened to spend a little bit time with that militia that overtook that

wildlife refugee up in Washington not that long ago.

This man is a threat.

This man is dangerous and this man is mentally unstable.

This just goes to show you, there is a lot of Republican craziness and Republican madness

coming out of Washington DC but it is certainly not exclusive to what's happening in DC.

You can find crazy Republicans all over this country but I challenge you to try to find

someone crazier than Matt Shea up in Washington state.

- [Newt] Dumbledore, why can't you go?

- [Dumbledore] I cannot move against Grindewald.

(dramatic music)

- It has to be you.

(dramatic music)

- This is equally as magical, in a very different way,

as the first film.

- It's got darker.

- You can see where we leave it off

at the end of the first film,

there's a strong sense of foreboding and--

- It's got intensified in some ways.

There is adventure, there's humor.

- But also there are new beasts and characters

from the Harry Potter world.

But definitely the dark clouds are rolling in.

- The stakes are high.

(dramatic, intense music)

- You want me to hunt him down?

(dramatic, intense music)

To kill him.

- Newt's written his book, his book's been published.

You'd think that would be a joyous thing,

but what's come with it is a bit of celebrity,

which he's not that keen on being known.

The Ministry isn't letting him leave the country.

So when you see him he's kind of in some ways

had his wings clipped,

but you begin, hopefully those wings

begin to flourish again as the movie moves on.

- We find Tina in Paris along with many other members

of the original cast and some new characters.

She is looking for Credence.

There are people after him for different reasons,

and obviously Tina cares about him a great deal

and is trying to get to him first.

- Credence has been on a journey

from the time when we saw him last he is reformed somewhat.

He is on a quest of sorts,

and he's been sort of scrapping it

on the streets of New York and then he boards a boat,

he goes to Europe.

He joins a circus, a sideshow,

and trying to understand himself.

- I'm still nervous, I'm always nervous

because I love Queenie so much and it's

quite an interesting journey that she takes on this film

and it's challenging as an actress.

And there is like a part of me that's like,

yeah, no people, people liked the first one, so,

but you know you're still are like,

but I hope they like the second one, too, you know?

(dramatic music) (loud banging)

- That's your brother?

(loud bursting)

- I think that might have been the best moment of my life.

- Theseus is the polar opposite of Newt.

In a sense they're both fighting the good fight,

but Newt is part of the rebellion movement

and Theseus is the establishment.

- A safe house in Paris.

- Why would I need a safe house in Paris?

- Should things at some point go terribly wrong

it's good to have a place to go,

you know, for a cup of tea.

- Dumbledore has always seen Newt for who he is,

and despite his, him being rejected by various people,

him not fitting templates, norms,

in this film you kind of get a sense of their relationship.

- Given that we go back, we see Dumbledore

at the Hogwarts and maybe even go back in time a little bit.

You wanted Hogwarts to feel as it did in the Potter films.

- Yeah, it's amazing.

On a scale of one to stoked, stoked.

I had a couple weeks off and was doing some other work

and was elsewhere for a little while,

and I came back.

They were like mostly just the same stuff,

except there was that great week when we went to Hogwarts

and I was like

what the literal F word are you talking about,

you went to Hogwarts?

And they were like, yeah, we went to Hogwarts to shoot the,

I was like, nobody called me?

I was like, what devil's whisker compelled you

to not just send me a text,

hey, come back, we're going to Hogwarts.

(light, upbeat music)

I actually thank you for holding this interview

in this space because I'm gonna,

this is the Department of,

this is the Department (foreign language) yeah?

- [Interviewer] Yeah. - Sick.

(light relaxing music)

Behind The Scenes of Killing Eve - BBC Three - Duration: 15:41.

Killing Eve follows two parallel stories.

One that follows Eve, who I play, and the other played by

Jodie Comer, Villanelle, who is an assassin.

My task is eventually to find this assassin.

But it's also an exploration of the psychology of two very different women, who've had

very different experiences and lives who somehow focus on each other and are drawn to each other,

professionally and unprofessionally.

We came across the novellas by Luke Jennings, which we thought were very gripping, full

of potential.

You could immediately see that they were crying out to be brought to the screen in some form.

We're a tiny little team at Sid and each of us read them, and read them quite quickly

and really enjoyed them because although it is a genre that's quite familiar, he had an

incredibly sort-of fresh take on it where it felt that the women were very, very strong in it.

Sally Woodward-Gentle had the idea of asking Phoebe to come in and talk to us about it

and suggested that she might adapt these novellas.

I was so surprised because I thought I was just kind of a comedy writer, considered a

comedy writer in the industry and she luckily kind of saw beyond that and said no, these

are dramatic novels but we would like them to have a different,

more humorous slant to them.

I read them and just thought these characters were so cool and they were such polar opposites

and their worlds were such polar opposites and yet they fixated on each other and the

challenge of making these two really different worlds exist in one show was something that

really appealed to me.

It was a feeling that she had the black edge that we would need to bring to it, because

I love black humour and Phoebe has got this sort of extraordinary charisma and energy

and I felt that it would be very different to other female assassin pieces that were out there.

Well, Phoebe has an extraordinary gift because she has the ability to find the absurd and

the comic everything, and on the other side of her humour there's a real sort of anxiety

about a world that you can't trust anyone in and she captures that absolutely brilliantly.

Once we had cast Jodie, we sent her away for some training because we knew that it was

going to be a very physical role, there were gonna be lots of requirements for her to be

climbing, jumping, fighting.

I've never done stunts before for any job so I was already kinda terrified 'cause I'm

such a clumsy person.

There was one particular stunt where I had to climb up a drain pipe on the side of this building.

Back in London, we had a little rehearsal time, we went to one of the climbing walls,

got Jodie comfortable climbing at heights.

When we got to Tuscany, we rigged some safety lines.

We just had to make sure the drain pipe was securely bolted in and we also put some climbing

blocks into the wall.

We chose a techno-crane because it would enable us to track with her.

Whenever you're doing something like that, the skill is to make it look as if the actor

is in jeopardy and there's some kind of danger but there needs to be no danger whatsoever.

The thing with Villanelle, what drives her is her freedom.

She does her kills, she gets her money, she spends her money on what she likes and she

has no one around her to tell her what to do.

She doesn't come into contact with that many people, when she does it's to kill them.

We had quite a few sessions with an extraordinary psychologist who specialises in psychopaths.

He deals with male psychopaths, and when we suggested to him that maybe female psychopaths

get away with it more- he couldn't deny that.

How do you make people care about a psychopath is the question that kept coming up early on.

And the answer is cast Jodie Comer.

Jodie's extraordinary.

She's got this chameleon quality where she can flip between characters.

You'll be standing in the queue for catering, or you'll be on set.

Suddenly you realise that it's Jodie, and that's obviously great for the role because

she's able to get much closer to people without people realising.

That is a very clever skill as well, that Jodie brings to Villanelle.

She is Villanelle and she's given her this extraordinary charisma that we genuinely only

dreamt we'd achieve in casting.

You'll make the mistake of falling in love with her and then she will kill you.

And I think she just enjoys it, you know she has very, very little remorse

and she's cool with that.

*screaming*

Oh my god!

Darling, wake up it's ok- it's ok!

Baby!

It's ok, wake up!

What was it- was it...

I fell asleep on both my arms.

They're coming back now.

When we first meet Eve, you really see her home life.

With her husband Nico, and they have a very, very good relationship.

And you see her at her job at MI5, and she has a very fine job.

Everything is fine about her life.

Eve is an incredibly complicated person who, outwardly seems to be a little bit ditsy,

a little bit random.

Not really showing any great ambition, but inwardly she knows that she is really clever.

What she doesn't acknowledge, her long term obsession with women who kill actually taps

into something that's very dark within her own soul.

She's a pleaser at the beginning of the show, and she's incredibly apologetic and she wants

everyone to like her.

She feels very protective about her marriage, and then as the series goes on that sort of

starts sort of falling away.

And even though you can see it's the wrong decision, you're still rooting for her.

I think it's a very primal drive that is making Eve sacrifice a lot of the normal things in

her life, to connect and to find and to capture Villanelle.

She has brought the guts, the heart, the courage, the vulnerability of Eve.

And to be able to balance the humour of this show with the drama, I was worried was gonna

be the tricky thing, but with Sandra that's been a dream to watch.

Eve and Villanelle's lives are very, very different.

There are things that I think that she needs to discover about herself.

Actually I think that both of women have, with each other.

And can only be discovered through each other and in connection with each other.

Villanelle was born in Russia and had an incredibly troubled upbringing.

Eve was brought up in the states, she moved to the UK.

Eve is in London doing her desk job with MI5, and is slightly bored.

She finds this energising force through Villanelle which kind of breaks her out of her per-usual mould.

Villanelle is absolutely having the time of her life.

She's young, she's free and she has a job that she loves.

She has unlimited money, so she is able to spend money on luxuries that she likes.

Champagne, clothes.

But, that's all she puts her money into.

You know, I feel like when she was younger she didn't have these luxuries, and now she

has all this money and that's the way she likes to spend it.

Villanelle is extremely conscious all the time of the

effect that she has on people around her.

Whereas Eve is quite the reverse, she never really thinks at all about what she looks

like, or the effect that she's having on other people.

She's extremely sort of un-self conscious.

So that's very much reflected in their costume.

For someone like Villanelle, she thinks 'putting that with that? She must be crazy.'

You know, but for Eve it's just like 'oh whatever.'

It's the first thing that she puts on in the morning.

She's sees it on a chair and she sticks it on.

So there's a terrific, dramatic contrast between these two women.

I'm so jealous of Jodie's wardrobe!

Villanelle wears these fantastic designer things, it's so great.

Eve is a little bit more practical.

She's slubby.

You know, she's never in a boring outfit, Villanelle.

And then yet, on the other end of the spectrum we have Eve, who's always in a boring outfit,

because she's very cerebral and she just cares about linking things up and reading in her

office, which is part of books.

And she's a very warm relationship with her husband whereas Villanelle is very isolated.

That's the kind of really intriguing part for us, the art department, on this drama

was to create these two very separate, very different worlds.

Where Eve's world is quite normal, she's finding herself in a very grey, very beige office.

Opposite, this crazy existence that Villanelle has.

The lighting is just part of that marriage really of all of those elements.

We identified at times a cooler look for Villanelle because in a way that's the obvious path you'd

take for the psychopathic one.

Eve's home life was the root of that warmer look.

We wanted that to feel like a normal warm and cozy space.

It's all about the characters, and their little details that link the two worlds.

Everyone's really made it a psychological piece, rather than just an artistic painting

of two different people's worlds.

Villanelle?

You have your own idea and then you come on to a set, and they're like 'Oh, so this is

where you've been living for the past 7 years' and you're like 'ok!'.

We wanted it to be an apartment that everybody said that they would want.

Talking to Kristian the whole time about the flat, he really ran with it.

All I said to him was she has style but she also doesn't really completely know who she

is and she's desperately trying to be a normal human being.

But, at the same time she has this kind of felling that she is above everybody.

He managed to crash those two things together so beautifully.

So when you walk into this gorgeous flat that she owns it does still feel like a young woman

in her twenties, who just happens to have wigs and guns in her drawers.

You want the space to look real, so you need to get all the fittings from France.

We make the mood boards, so we make sure all the colours work together.

Make sure the detailing of the flat is right.

Then you adapt a little bit, to make it film-friendly.

If you look around the apartment, there's loads of little knick-knacks that just don't

look like they belong in the same room.

But, I feel like they're probably all little things that she's collected, you know she

travels a lot.

If you go to most people's houses, the furniture isn't all bought at the same time.

It's acquired over time, and so we've tried to give that impression of something that

has organically developed.

It's one thing of building a space that looks aesthetically pleasing.

It is more important to have a space that can work for the drama, for the camera and

for the actors.

For me, I'm always very super keen to work out with the production designer up front

how I'm going to light it.

So, what will be built in to the design of the set that will facilitate the lighting

being the right atmosphere and doing what you want it to do.

As a cinematographer, we always hope that we will shoot the exteriors first and then

come into the interiors and the studio or wherever they are on location and be able

to match them in.

The lighting rigs that we put in are designed to accommodate a mixture of soft, cloudy light.

A lot of which we had in Paris.

This is Villanelle's apartment by the way.

Incredible, like insane.

We set ourselves the rather awkward challenge of filming the story where the story is set.

So, we filmed in Tuscany for Tuscany and we filmed in Berlin and filmed in Romania.

And they all all extraordinary locations that all feel incredibly different.

We've been to Paris, which I didn't actually get to see an awful lot of.

The most exciting for me thus far has been shooting in Trafalgar Square.

I can't believe that anything is shot in Trafalgar Square.

But, there I was with Sandra with that wonderful pillar behind us and the National Gallery.

As Villanelle really starts taking over Eve's life, then we go and and then we have this

fantastic international feel of the show.

Villanelle gets there first class, she just turns up.

We didn't ever need to show how she got there, because she just arrives.

She just is there.

Then we get the taxi's and the luggage of Eve and you have to see the kind of everyday

nightmare-ish thing of travel.

This is the little fun things about two very different characters experiencing these cities

in very different ways.

What we also wanted to find were what I call the sort of 'grubby operatics' of those areas.

We didn't really want to be skipping round the Eiffel tower.

We've gone for sort of real part of Paris.

Just out of the centre, very Parisian.

Very definitely when you watch it I think you can tell that you're definitely in Paris.

But, it's not full of those tourist-y landmarks.

We also really wanted to put our characters in amongst the real people of those cities.

Because it's quite a heightened show, we also wanted to ground it by thinking that these

people are genuinely in our midst and you could be sitting next to a psychopathic killer.

From a production point of view, we were having to set up a co-production with the local talent

in each of these countries.

And you've got to get the key creative crew out there to recce.

To find the locations, to look at the roads, road closures.

We've got some stunts which need to take place.

The challenge being, is that I'm used to working with my own team, so it's my job to communicate

with my foreign stunt co-ordinator to create what I'd need.

And supplying equipment, and making sure just everything's safe.

Setting up art departments in foreign countries always presents problems.

For me, it's just been a matter of trying to keep the style coherent.

Going to Italy in high summer, occasionally the sun pops out at an inconvenient time in

the wrong way.

As a cinematographer you just have to learn to manage that.

You don't film for a few minutes, or you start getting out the tools you have to soften the

light and deflect it and so on.

You definitely get something extra-special by being in the actual place.

Being live and on location is spectacular because you can't lie about that stuff.

Killing Eve is unique because it treads a tightrope between incredibly dramatic, shocking

moments and incredibly light and enjoyable moments and that's all down to Phoebe who

has this unique ability to make you laugh, make you cry but never when you're expecting to.

The whole way through we just pushed ourselves, the whole team pushing ourselves.

What's the most surprising place we could go with this show?

That's across all departments as well.

Everyone's like what is the anti-genre genre of this show?

You watch your typical spy thriller or your typical crime drama and you know what and

how and when, you just don't know who.

And the whole build up is you wait 7 hours over the course of a TV series to find out

whose done it and it ends up being the bar man's cousin from the very first episode.

With this, you know who, it's the what and how and when.

That's what makes it so interesting.

And any time you think you know what's going to happen you're very, very wrong.

I really, really like those poles of things that are funny and sad and thrilling and dangerous.

I mean that's kind of like life, and I just think actually that is more relatable than

straight comedy or just straight drama.

It's very seductive.

You're seduced into thinking you're on quite a light journey and then something really

horrific happens.

So the audience is on a rollercoaster ride.

We have this preconception about assassins.

When you see then in a film, they do everything with such ease and precision.

What I liked about Villanelle was she was a bit messy, and I found her quite relatable.

I wanted people to watch her and relate to her in some way, rather than her being this

other worldly person.

Like, she messes up and she does things wrong.

The fact that there are two really, really strong leads- both happen to be female, I

think is so unique and so relevant right now.

There is a very small proportion of women in front of the camera

for shows which have got action in them.

They're still very male-dominated.

So, to have this really seen through the point of view of two women was very important.

'Cause ostensibly, it's the same setup.

It's just the details that make it different.

It's just how these women would do something in a way that probably, men wouldn't.

And that to me is new and fresh.

When Metal Detecting Dreams Come True... - Duration: 1:04:35.

Hello.

Do you recognize the noise?

The remote control was still in my backpack.

I'm near the construction site.

The "old" vineyard, where I found my last gold ring.

The noise is temporary, it will stop at some point...

Foil.

Finally it's quiet.

Aluminum.

The rest of it.

My expectations today are very low.

But you never know...

The noise is back... I apologize.

A coin!

"1 Pfennig" (1911).

Another one...

"1 Pfennig" (1908).

A small spider went into the hole...

But it's out.

A chunk of coke (something like coal).

Part of a bottle.

A piece of foil.

Again.

Part of a screw cap.

Something modern.

Foil.

A bent nail.

And a key.

Another "ring" from a screw cap.

A piece of coke.

Sounds like iron, but you never know...

It's a "Hitler Youth" badge from the WWII era.

Next coin.

"1 Pfennig" (1916).

Foil.

Probably more foil, but I have to check.

Foil everywhere...

What is this?!

No way...

This is simply amazing.

To find an old, blue bottle was always my dream.

I can't believe it.

I can't spot any chirps.

It must be the work of the boar family that leaves somewhere up this hill.

They come down and disturb the soil, while looking for roots.

One more plastic bag - it can't be safe enough.

The bottle survived this rough environment...

...would I drop it... I don't even want to think about it.

Another piece of glass...

Maybe I should take a closer look at this spot.

I've seen people on YouTube finding bottles in the ground.

I can't spot anything.

Hmm, I'm skeptical about this.

See, no more bottles. I tried.

I don't have faith in this. I think, I should concentrate on metal.

A coin.

A rusty "1(?) Pfennig" (1948-2001).

The noise makes me feel, like part of the team.

They workers are probably thinking, "are we doing something over there too?".

An old nail.

I can't take any chances. Iron could cover and hide something else...

Just regular nail.

Trash.

A key hole?

For a huge key... hmm...

Industrial garbage.

Something big.

What is this?!

It looks like an alien base on Mars.

A very strange object.

Both parts are sticking out, but the surface is made of iron.

I have to be cautious and dig a margin around it.

Whatever it is, I don't want to damage it.

Something not related to it.

It's quite big.

This is a stone.

Another strange shaped "ball".

Hmm... Interesting.

I uncovered the left edge.

I have no clue what this could be.

OK, this is the top edge.

It seems to go deeper into the soil.

Could this be a small treasure chest?

The right edge ends here too.

I have to tell you, this feels exciting.

It's not moving.

I have to uncover the bottom part.

Hopefully it's not a small coffin.

Where is my pinpointer?

I must have buried it.

There it is.

No, it's not very long.

It ends here somewhere...

That's a stone.

This is a stone too.

Hmm, I don't think this is related either...

Just in case...

Another stone.

I think, I should try to take it out.

What is this? Where are the gold coins?

It's not a treasure chest.

The coins are probably down there!

"That" deep...

That's iron.

Whatever it is...

It was worth a try...

My small assistants told me that this could be a door lock...

It probably is, I really had no clue :).

No secrets this time - it's a pull tab.

Foil.

Pull tab.

Let's do it one more time the proper way!

:)

Hmm, interesting...

It has some writings on it.

Is is a coin weight?

I will show you pictures at the end.

It says "Rohde". Probably the maker.

It's a coin.

"1 Pfennig" from the 40's.

Foil.

Another piece.

Part of a chain.

A small casing.

A small musket ball.

Foil again.

It's a button.

It says: "D.M.R 20 M PARIS".

French military?

Trash.

"5 Pfennig?" coin (1948-2001).

"Ring" from a screw cap.

It was foil.

My friend the moth!

Hello :).

Look at the wings, they vibrate.

I'm still not sure what it means...

:)

Maybe she didn't like the sun.

Let's see what the target was.

Hmm, I have no idea...

A nail.

A pointy tip is sticking out...

It's made of iron.

It doesn't move a bit.

It probably goes deep into the ground...

Or it is bent at some point...

What could that be...

No movement.

It's late...

Is it going in this direction?

I have to leave it for now...

It could be a coin.

Ants, the guardians..

I have to be careful in this case.

Thank you.

"1 Pfenning" (1855).

I'm exhausted.

I think, I should go.

Please wait for the pictures...

Links of a chain.

Hmm...

A former lead bullet/ball?

Something like this...

A German "1(?) Pfennig" coin (1948-2001).

"5(?) Pfennig" coin (1948-2001).

"1 Pfennig" from the 40's.

Made of zinc.

A French military button?

"1 Pfennig" coin (1911).

"1 Pfennig" coin (1916).

"1 Pfennig" coin (1908).

"1 Pfenning" (1855).

"Hitler Youth" badge (from the late 30's - 45).

What could that be?

A (coin?) weight?

Does it say: "NEUE G something"?

My dream find, the blue bottle.

How old could it be?

*Sorry about the mosquitoes :).

It has "bubbles and everything"...

A door lock, or something else?

Yes, it wasn't easy...

More trash...

And treasure. Detecting time: 2h15min

Jade Thirlwall's Wardrobe Malfunction: Little Mix Singer's Nipple Shows On EMAs Red Carpet - Daily N - Duration: 1:45.

Oops! Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall showed more skin than she'd probably like on the 2018 MTV EMAs red carpet! See her sheer look!    Jade Thirlwall just freed the nipple on the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards red carpet! The Little Mix member showed up in a black sheer top covered in opaque polka dots, but the thicker pattern didn't hide her bare nipple that was underneath

Hey, that's just the price you pay when you risk wearing a see-through shirt while braless! But let's be real: even if it wasn't intentional, it was still a #Look and Thirlwall definitely owned it!  The "Shout Out To My Ex" hitmaker looked super fierce in her red carpet ensemble alongside her fellow group members

She paired the sheer top with a black, pink and white geometric skater skirt and strappy black heels

Her beauty look was also on point, thanks to some winged eyeliner and a pink lipstick

She wore her hair down in loose waves, which actually helped with covering her other nipple!    Little Mix is nominated for Best UK & Ireland Act at the award's show on Nov

4. The girls are also set to take the stage during the show, and we're hoping they bring out collaborator Nicki Minaj for a performance of their song, "Woman Like Me

" Ian West/PA Wire  Check out the gallery above to see even more red carpet arrivals at the MTV EMAs before the show begins at 2 p

Ace Attorney - Stand Your Ground - Duration: 3:33.

If the two of you are ready...

My name is Phoenix Wright.

Head of the Wright Anything Agency and a lawyer.

Although, I was doing something else entirely for a while there...

As for why I decided to formally get back into lawyering...

Let's just say there's unfinished business to take care of.

It's been a long time,

Edgeworth.

Regardless the circumstances,

I intend to question the defendant with all I have.

For that is a part of my creed.

Then you better bring it !

In that moment

my eyes were open forever.

Justice should be perfect.

Completely divorced from trivial emotions.

And used to as a hammer to crush those who dare defy the Law.

Objection !!!

Why... It's you ?

I became an attorney because I wanted to fight

for people who had no one on their side.

And the truth was what it was all about.

It was the best tool for saving those people.

But even a convicted murderer still got a job to do

and duties to perform.

Good night Alderman !

Sweet dreams !

All those people out there...

So many of them are going through major struggles.

And it's up to people like us

to be here to help.

Help ! Somoene call an ambulance !

Sorry, but I'll be take a leave of absence.

Wait, what do you mean by a leave ?

Can you at least give me a reason why ?

I can only say...

That this is something I must settle on my own.

Why are you shutting us out?

Mr. Wright,

I knew I could count on you

to stand your ground

and fight until the very end.

I've decided...

I'm going to defend you !

I'll fight with everything i've got !

I believe in your innocence

And by the time this trial is finally over

you're going to believe in it just as much as i do !

Thanks guys.

I wouldn't be back in the space

if it wasn't for you.

I'm fine now !

Objection !

Interesting...

And you have proof for its past i sustain

Wright-Dono ?

You're my hero, man !

Now is the time to laugh, Mr. Phoenix Wright.

The best time for an ace attorney to laugh

is when he's in a pinch.

We must trust each other.

And be firm in our belief,

that we're all fighting in service for the truth.

✅ BluMaan Fifth Sample Pomade Review - For Mens Long Hair - Duration: 15:05.

(fanfare)

- Hello guys, and welcome back to my channel.

My name is Thomas if you're brand new here,

and I make style and hair related videos every single week,

so if that's your kind of thing, make sure you hit the

subscribe button, and come back and visit me every Monday.

(chuckles)

This video today is to celebrate the new launch

or the relaunch of BluMaan Fifth Sample pomade.

Joe did bring this out about three years ago.

I don't know if you guys have already tried it or not.

However, I think they had a few issues with the actual

product in the beginning, and it's take them about

three years to actually get this all together

and come up with something that they're happy with.

So, Sam from BluMaan, he reached out probably a couple weeks

ago now, and asked me if I'd be interested in contributing

to the launch, and of course, with all the other BluMaan

products that I've tested out, I was definitely down for it.

If you guys watch me on a regular basis as well, you'll know

pomades aren't usually a kind of hair product that I have

in my hair drawer, you know what I mean?

Like, I don't really use them.

And particularly because what I found with pomades

in the past were they get very oily and very greasy,

and they also add a lot of shine,

they're a shine product.

If you know me, I don't really like a wet shiny shiny look.

So I've always steered clear of them.

But the cool thing about this one is they say

that it's a low shine edition, so I'm not going to be

expecting a heap of shine and that wet look.

It's also a water-based one.

There's two types of pomades.

You've got water, and you got oil-based.

The oil-based ones are what give you a really awful,

they're just not cool.

The just don't wash out.

And water ones, they're usually really hard to make,

so BluMaan has really been brave by going and creating

something like this, but I'm really really interested

to try it out.

And the type of hairstyle we're gonna be doing today is a

low conservative ponytail.

I don't know if you guys saw my hairstyles for different

occasions video that I released a couple of weeks ago.

I did like business attire, I also did formal attire.

And a lot of the hairstyles that I talked about in those

categories were very slick, very tidy hairdos.

And I thought, cool, this is great time for me

to do something like this, and the low conservative ponytail

was one that I thought, it looked really cool, and it's not

like a hairstyle that we see a lot.

So I'm going to be doing one of those today for you.

And we're gonna be looking at how this product

actually works.

So I've got a bit of information here, it took three years

to develop, they've redefined the formula.

Problems with other pomades, there's not enough hold

throughout the day, poor hair health leading to thinning,

frizziness, dryness, and scalp issues, too heavy and greasy,

and difficult emulsification.

For those that don't know what emulsification is, it's just

like when you rub the product together and apply it,

that's what it is.

What does Fifth Sample provide?

High hold for a hairstyle that lasts all day

without weighing it down.

Got five hair health ingredients to help combat

brittle hair, dry hair, dry scalp, dull hair, and frizz.

They did say, looks that it's good for is for slick-back.

Now, obviously, with my hair being this length,

a slick-back's not really gonna, I mean it could work,

we could try it, but I'm going to be doing the low ponytail.

Maybe would do a bit of both.

We can just see how it looks with both.

I'll bring you closer up as well

once I've got my hairstyle done, because we're going to be

straightening and doing all the things today.

Yeah, that's pretty much all about it.

If we have a look at the packaging, again, they have just

done it, like, look at this whole family.

They're just the best looking family

I've ever seen in my life.

Whoever creates their art is a fricking genius,

and I really like the coloration and stuff they put in it.

They've used a gorilla this time.

The only thing that I thought was weird was that the gorilla

instead of having a slick-back, which is what this product

is supposed to be good for, he has a pompadour.

So, it didn't really make sense to me, but who really cares?

Because he looks cool.

You'll also notice that this tub is a lot bigger

than the other ones.

I don't know if they'll be selling a small version,

but the other BluMaan products that I've got,

they all come in this size.

This is a 2.5 ounce, and this is a 3.7 ounce,

so it's a fairly big tub.

And they haven't really confirmed whether it's going to be

smaller or not, but yeah.

I do know the price of this one is a little bit more.

This one's $21.50 US, and when we open it up,

ooh,

it looks quite different as well to a regular pomade.

This actually looks like like bubblegum in a tub.

It's so different, and it's like this blue galactic colour.

It's really cool, I love the colour.

The texture of it, it's quite gummy, so it is kind of

like chewing gum, but the one thing that I have to admit

is I usually love all the BluMaan smells.

The Monarch Paste is the one that I like the most so far.

However, for smells with this one,

it actually does smell, like, I dunno, plasticky or gooey,

or something like that.

It just doesn't have a nice hair product smell,

which I thought was quite odd.

If it were me, doing this, I'd make it smell like bubblegum,

because that's exactly what it looks like.

But I guess bubblegum's kind of not traditionally

a manly smell, but, that's just what I would do.

Anyway, so that's the product, and now it's time

to get into doing our hairstyle.

So we're going to be doing the low conservative ponytail.

And the way we're going to be doing that is

by straightening it.

I'm going to be using my Vanity Planet

Flow styling brush today, because my hair has keratins.

It is starting to wear off a little bit, so my fuzzies are

starting to come back, and holy hell, in Australia right now

it is hotter than this guy.

But no, so straightening my hair is going to be a little bit

of a bitch, but that's why I'm using the Flow styling brush,

because I can get decent straight hair

within 20 minutes with this guy.

I did do a full review about him as well, but we're going

to be using him to straighten all of my hair out.

And then once my hair is straightened,

then we're gonna chuck this guy on.

Aright, let's get into it.

Cool, so while that's heating up.

(distant humming)

That guy with the leaf blower

knows I'm trying to film a video.

I'm sure of it.

(playful music)

Just a little bit more there, and that will do me.

(chuckles)

Okay, so, 20 minutes later I have my hair

all straightened out.

A hair straightener will give you a significantly

straighter result than this.

However, for this tutorial that I'm doing today,

it's not really a big deal.

And, yeah, I'm really happy with it.

Having my hair keratined as well makes it that much more

easy to just straighten out and have like this

within a short time period.

Now,

(coughs)

during the straightening process, I did notice my ends

are starting to look quite ratty.

That's natural when you don't get a trim for a while.

And I haven't had a trim.

I'm probably due to go to the hairdresser.

So what I'm gonna do is just

add a little bit of ends repair on there.

Pretty much like, I dunno, a sealant.

And what I'm gonna do, I will be adding some more of this

a bit later, but I'm just gonna add a little bit to my hair

now, rub it together, and put that on the ends.

Because if I'm doing a ponytail, I do want the ends

to look as slick as possible.

And I'm hoping that the pomade can help

smooth them out a little bit as well.

It's just like one of the downfalls

of having long hair, you know?

Your ends are always doing their own thing.

Now it's time to actually get into using the product.

I think before I just go and put it onto the ponytail,

I have to actually apply the pomade.

♪ The moment of truth ♪

So like I just said, we're not gonna be using much else.

We're just gonna be using a bit of this with a bit of this.

Again, little tip for any of you guys with long hair

that want to try and use products like this or like this.

Adding oil to the product makes emulsification even easier.

If you have hair that's rather tangly

or rather rough like mine, I always find having an oil in my

hands makes it that much better.

I might move the camera up.

(claps) There we go, come in nice and close.

So, this is what my hair is looking like now

after the straightening brush.

Not very much texture going on in it, as you can see.

It's pretty much just a straightened job.

It's still essentially a little bit fluffy.

But now it's time to start applying our product.

We're just going to grab a big lump of it on the hand,

put it in there like that.

I still am not a fan of that smell, sorry BluMaan.

Put a little bit of oil, two pumps.

You can use Argan oil or whatever,

I just use Riot Control oil by Bhave,

because it works really well with my keratin treatment.

Emulsification time, let's do this.

So have a good look at my hair as it is now, and we'll see

what happens after we apply this, hey?

Okay, application's being quite good far.

I'm just gonna run it through my whole hair like that,

because I wanna get this right down to the ends,

because we want all the hair looking slick.

You can already see it doing its thing in the front there.

See how it's sticking it all back?

Oop, looks like we got another grouper.

It's already starting to bind my hairs together.

Wait and see.

Aright, so I've put it into the front there.

As we can see it's already shape my hair for me.

And we are seeing that minimal shine.

It is a lot shinier than other products that I would use.

So I've probably put enough in the front here.

The part I'm struggling with is more so at the back.

I could probably use more underneath

and through the middle bits here.

So I'm gonna grab a little bit more product.

It's so fun to play with, and I love the colour of it.

It's so cool.

And now we're gonna go underneath.

Little bit of tug there.

Hello.

Wonder if we can comb through it or not.

Ah yeah.

So I'm using the wide-tooth comb now

to just scoop it all through.

Ooh.

Look at that slickness!

The only thing I'm worried about is,

I don't know if a slick-back would really work for me

with my hair at this length, because there is so much room

for flop and stuff.

And I'm not hating the shine.

Usually shine is like, well, too much shine is kind of like,

nnhn.

Okay, so if we just go back a few steps and have a look at

what my hair looked like before I applied the product.

Check out the fricking slickness of it.

And you'll notice my hair before it had,

even though I had straightened it,

it still had a lot of boof in it.

And this, I'm even looking at it now, I could actually

wear this hairdo without even tying it up.

Yeah, it's just a simple out-style.

Could look cool.

Mega control.

I'm giving myself like Android 17 vibes right now,

or Super Android 17 vibes.

I am going to change my shirt soon as well, but I just

wanted to see how the product goes in my hair.

So far with the shine, cool, loving.

And I actually think

I've got a new formal hairstyle for my self.

Just even using this to slick it down.

I think the placing of it needs to be right,

the, or like all back.

Cool.

Yeah, that's dope.

I'm a fan!

Okay, so let's go ahead and put it into our ponytail.

So I'm gonna go and grab one of my elastics.

Seeing as we're using the Fifth Sample, why not use

a purple one, hey?

So, for doing this, again I'm gonna grab my

wide-toothed comb.

Wide-toothed combs are great for controlling hair,

because it's not so refined as a fine-tooth comb, right?

And it can actually help group all your hair,

especially while there's product in it.

So what I'm gonna do is brush it all back, I might,

I wanna be able to face you guys.

Brush it all back, get it all looking how I want to.

Really nice and clean.

This product's done a really good job

of taming my fly-aways as well.

Ooh, I actually really love the shine on that, so cool.

So I'm happy with the way my pony's sitting right now.

But as you can see, the purple elastic there,

I don't really want that showing, so what I'm gonna do

is pull out a bit of hair from below,

and we're gonna wrap it around the rest.

And what this does is it makes it look like,

I've tied my hair up with my own hair,

if you know what I mean.

Looks kind of cool, I like it.

And what I'll do to finish it up,

pin it in, make it as inconspicuous as possible.

Check it out.

Ha ha, it looks so groovy!

I love it.

I'd love to know your thoughts in the comment section below.

But what we're gonna do now

is put on the appropriate attire.

So, in my video about different hairstyles

for different occasions I used this example

for a formal event.

So I'm just gonna chuck on a white coloured shirt

with a bow tie and show you what the whole look

looks like together, and yeah.

I'll be right back.

(snaps) Da!

Okay, so here's actually the final look.

I've just chucked on my white coloured shirt

with my bow tie, and this is what it looks like.

So it's like more of a formal-y sort of hairstyle.

I also think it's time to zoom back out,

so we can finish up this video, how about that?

(claps) Okay, and we're back!

This is the final look from afar.

Not that much different, but yeah, it's pretty cool.

I'd really like to know your thoughts about this

in the comment section below, and also,

what kind of experiences have you guys had with pomades?

Are they something that you use?

'Cause they're just something that I've never picked up.

However, using this and looking at the natural shine,

I've actually had my mind changed about pomades, so,

(chuckles)

thank you BluMaan.

Yeah, I'd have to say my most favourite thing about this

was the natural shine that it gave.

I was a little bit worried that I was gonna be getting

that greasy shine, which I fucking hate.

But yeah, crisis avoided.

Probably my least favourite thing about this

is the smell of the product.

I love to have nice smelling things in my hair, I just love

the smell buzzing around my head all day.

So if I could mention anything, I would say

to make the smell a little bit more interesting.

The packaging's cool, the pricing, I guess, like $21.50

is jumping up a little bit.

I think they usually are $19.50 or something like that.

Considering the time and effort that maybe went

into this one, that's why it's more expensive.

And in terms of hold and doing what I wanted it to,

the fly-aways are really under control.

I'm really happy with the overall control

that it's given my hair.

You guys saw how boofy it was, and this has helped me

really constrict that down.

And I'm impressed with how the actual ends came out.

You know how I was saying earlier they're still a little bit

frazzle-y, like, the fact that this smoothed them over,

that's a really good thing.

Yeah, another bonus.

I'm actually really excited about how it looked

when I had it out and down.

I think that's gonna be really cool, because I wasn't

expecting the slickness to look as great as it did.

So that's another thing I'm really excited about, so.

Mind changed about pomade, and I'm happy to introduce

these guys to their other family members.

They're all like a big happy family now.

I can't believe there's five BluMaan products out there.

They just smashing them out. (claps)

Good job, guys.

Thank you so much, Sam, for reaching out

and letting me be a part of this launch.

Thank you to the whole BluMaan team.

Thank you to you guys for watching, and I really hope

you found this video enjoyable.

Please make sure you go over and join my Facebook group.

I have a Facebook group called Hairstyles in Action.

I originally created it for all the guys out there

that are wanting to grow their hair, kind of like a

support network for guys that are

going through the awkward phase.

However, it's turned into more of a, I dunno, just a group

where everyone can come and share updates about their hair

and what they're doing with it, and stuff like that.

It's a lot of fun.

So, the link's gonna be in description box for you.

There'll also be a link to Fifth Sample down there as well.

So if you wanna grab some yourself, I would recommend it.

I'm very happy with this,

and I'm glad it's in my arsenal now.

And that's all I really have for you, okay?

(chuckles)

Until next week, I'll see you for another video,

and ciao for now!

Bye!

#058: Landscape Photography Making the Most of Local Landscapes - Duration: 11:22.

Hello and thanks for joining me on another landscape photography outing.

Today I'd like to think about landscape photography without an epic location and

look at how we can capture interesting artwork just about anywhere and in just

about any conditions.

Today I've come down to my local water feature which you may have seen on my

channel from time to time I live just over the far side my house faces

approximately south-west so I tend to shoot from the other side whenever

there's a decent sunset and I'm concentrating on the stand the

reflections in the water.

But I guess when you tune in to my channel you're expecting to find me in

more interesting locations and that's because I happen to live close by them.

So why wouldn't I share them with you and encourage you to visit if you can.

Now many of you might say 'yeah but look you've got this fabulous lake right on

your doorstep', well, yes, of course that's true. But I'd say that just about

everyone has an interesting landscape not too far from where they live whether

its water or woodland or even urban parkland there are landscapes

everywhere you turn so looking at this location you can see it's a perfectly

Pleasant spot for a quiet scenic stroll but it isn't necessarily the first place

that a photographer would think of coming the surrounds are a bit flat and

boring and there's no mountainous backdrop like Dew and water for example

or Snowden horse-shoe behind Clint lador or interesting old jetties there isn't a

single lone tree in sight or an interesting little island to draw your

attention you see most still water shots really needs something to focus on to

draw your attention in if you just shoot the water itself it's probably not

really going to be that interesting as I said earlier I only use it as a device

when I'm actually shoot in the sunset now let's think about the conditions

here it's a pretty dull gray day and there's really not much going on but of

course when you're able to get out with a camera that could well also be the

case we can't always get out when the light is just perfect and that's why I

came out on a so-so sort of day to a ho-hum sort of location so you can enjoy

watching me struggle to find some images I'm gonna ever hunt about for about two

or three images which I hope will show you that you can get out and enjoy your

landscape photography wherever you happen to be and whatever the light is

doing Oh what caught my attention with this

little cascade is at first glance you'd think there's not much to it

but what I really like is the way the trees in the background are reflected in

the still water of the pool above the Cascade so putting those three elements

together with the Cascade at the bottom I think it makes for quite an

interesting composition I'm not a big fan of water that's been completely

smoothed out so it looks like milk I still want to be able to see some detail

in it obviously I don't want to freeze it solid so that quarter of a second

should hopefully give me what I'm looking for but as I said what I

particularly like about this are the reflections behind the Cascade

perhaps I was being a bit economical with the truth when I said we don't have

a derelict jetty because actually we do but it's hardly in the same league as

Derwent water that said it's still an interesting subject I can't get a

standard wide open composition because the banks are all completely overgrown

so I'm forced to shoot with these leaves overhanging

and I've got a whole Bank of reeds between myself and the end of the jetty

now that's not necessarily a problem at all I'm taking a long exposure of this

and I'm allowing the reeds and the leaves to move in the image and create

that interesting motion but the clouds and the water are getting smoothed out

with this quite nice soft diffused light the only question I'm gonna have when I

get it back in post is whether I can do anything with colours or whether I'm

going to need to make it monotone I'll take a look at that later and make a

decision in the meantime what I'm doing is making sure I've got enough data to

work with I can't stress this enough for landscape photography you have the

opportunity where your subject is not moving very fast you don't need to grab

a shot really quickly you can take your time and think about it and what this is

allowing me to do is to try all sorts of different focal lengths and different

slightly different compositions to see which I prefer when I get it back onto

my computer so make sure you've got enough data on your card get the

multiple exposures bracket if you need to meter for the foreground meter for

the sky do all of those things so that you can throw away 50 shots to get that

one shot that really works for you

I think the lesson I'm learning today is all about observation I'm having to work

much harder to find something that's going to create the interest that makes

a good image now usually when I'm out and about in my epic locations it's much

easier to simply point your camera or whatever's giving you the wow factor if

I'm happy with any of the images that I get today I think they'll probably mean

more to me than an easy win where I simply point my camera at a golden

sunset in Snowdonia

on the subject of being observant not that long ago I was walking with a

fellow vlogger chap by the name of Paul Compton you may have heard of him he's

an extremely good photographer by the way don't be fooled by his exuberant

vlogging style we were on our way to see an evening with Tom Heaton and I was

looking at our surroundings as we were chatting and thinking oh this might make

a good composition that would be an interesting subject and that exact

moment Paul said do you know what whenever I'm out and about walking

I'm always looking at stuff of it as if it's a potential image and I knew

exactly what he meant you kind of get into that mindset and coming to a place

like this on a day like this and having to really work at it kind of sharpens

your skills so that the next time you're out and you've got a great subject and

great light you're equipped to really make the most of it for this final image

I'm shooting across this little Inlet and it's quite shallow so by using a

polarizer I can see all the crap on the bottom and it looks fabulous it's all

dead stuff on a sort of sandy bottom and then behind it I've got a really nice

bed of bullrushes what I've done with this one is I've put my Tokina wide

angle lens on so I'm shooting ultra wide about 11 millimeters and it's a perfect

composition for that sort of wide angle one of the problems that I see with a

lot of wide-angle shots are that you get really interesting foreground but if

you've got a subject in the background it gets completely lost some images that

come to mind are things like bamburgh castle for example there's some fabulous

rocks and photographers are really keen to feature those rocks

but then the castle ends up as a teeny tiny little aspect right in the far

distance for me I tend to try and avoid using an ultra wide-angle lens

unless the entire image is what I'm trying to get into it so with this one I

think the sort of composition that I've come up with hopefully will work quite

well as far as my settings are concerned well again as I said earlier I'm doing

all sorts of different exposures to see what I come up with

so you'll find to help what settings I settled on when I show you the image

shortly well I hope you've enjoyed this one not my usual sort of thing I'm

usually about the epoch locations more about where to shoot than how to shoot I

don't normally get quite this philosophical but I thought I should

come clean but I don't always get up into the mountains or down onto the

coast and I hope it's given you some food for thought but you can get out and

you can find some interesting images wherever you happen to live and when you

do get the opportunity to travel to the more interesting locations that you'll

then be better equipped to make the most of them so get out there and take some

pictures so with that I'll say thank you ever so much for watching I really

appreciate your comments and your encouragement and support oh by the way

if you haven't done it yet why not subscribe now and join me next time

WHY DON'T YOUR KIDS DO WHAT YOU SAY? - Duration: 6:22.

Hi, I'm Aga Rogala.

I'm helping parents to understand themselves better and especially to understand better their kids.

To make parenthood and childhood happier and less stressful.

So, why your kids don't just do what you say?

Well, I think that you think

"Because they don't want to!"

But it's not that simple. I think there may be a couple of most important reasons. For example:

First? The basic needs. All people have some basic needs and when they are not satisfied

they have very strong influence on our behavior and our way of thinking.

Especially they have strong influence on kids, because they can't control the reactions.

That's why, for example, when you take your baby from the kindergarden and and it's hungry or tired,

but you don't take your baby home

for relax, for a dinner, but for some shopping in the mall...

Well, you can't expect the good behavior.

Because the basic needs of your kid are not satisfied.

That's also the matter when, for example, your kids

have lack of your attention, feel like lack of your attention.

And they will do everything really what will grab your attention. And what always works

is a bad behavior. Is saying "no".

Why? Because all parents focus on

children who behave bad.

Isn't that true?

The other reason may be the borders. This line between what you can and what you can't do.

And I'm sure you

explain that to your kids.

But they need to have their own

first-hand experience.

And this happens only by pushing the limits.

To know where the limit is, they need to push it. Sorry.

Other reason maybe the brain. I'm sure you know

that there are many parts, different parts, of the brain responsible for different things

and for example

this part of the brain- prefrontal cortex- is responsible for the reasonable thinking, for the assessment of the situation

and other part of the brain is responsible for the emotions and emotional reactions.

And unfortunately when your kid feels very emotional, for example

is very angry, or very sad, or very stressed, this emotional part

switches off this reasonable part.

And that's why, in these kind of emotions,

your kid will not think:

"Oh, I should not do that. My mommy will get angry".

No way.

Other reason and it's my personal personal favorite, but it's hard to bear with it

is that maybe in this moment of saying "no"

is a lesson.

Is now a lesson of becoming

becoming person who actually I think all the parents want their kids to be in the future.

People

who are self-confident who are brave who have own opinions and are brave enough to fight for the opinions and beliefs.

But to be this kind of an adult, you have to learn it in your childhood. Since your childhood.

And this is by saying "no" if you have a different opinion.

Or you, for example, want to do it in a different way

than your parent.

So as a conclusion:

I think the best advice in these hard moments, in these argues with your kid

"You should do that! Oh, you can't do that!" and so on. "Why you are just not listening to me?! For God sake!

What's wrong with you?!"

Well

nothing's wrong with your baby. But you need to see the problem with his or hers eyes.

Because if you look at this

only by the eyes of stressed parent... I know you have all the reasons to feel like that, but it won't change anything.

If you look at the problem

Through your daughter or through your son:

what is so important for them"

Why they are so fighting for it?

What they are actually feeling?

And how strong is that?

You may have a

communication which built in cooperation.

And I know there are maybe days when you are just not ready for this

communication building, and this cooperation, and all that stuff.

You are just stressed. You just need to relax. You just need to have some things to be done by your kids.

But if you

just try, just try to understand them,

they will see that.

And this is a basic level of building a relationship

full of love.

Full of understandment.

And I'm sure you want that for yourself and for your family, actually.

I'm going to make films about all these topics, which were mentioned.

That's why I need you to subscribe my channel, so I could let you know they are ready.

And if you think this film was helpful

please share it with your friends and with other parents, so I could be more helpful

and they could have some help from me.

Hope to see you soon,

have a great day. Bye !

How To Increase Youtube Views By Yourself - Duration: 3:00.

You've got your titles figured out, You've got your thumbnails figured out,

You even have your relative retention on point

But still you're not getting any more views

My name is Daniel and I'm here to help.

Now, hopefully at this point

You've seen the first three steps of this four-step solution

to driving views to your channel.

If you haven't, I'll put links to them down in the description

But today I want to talk about the last step in this four step process.

We know that YouTube starts by sending your videos

to subscribers who have hit the bell notification first

As well as your most active subscribers

But after that,

YouTube is going to take a minute to absorb all of these metrics that we've talked about

How you rank for your tags, your click-through rate

Does it look like we've got some fairly decent relative retention?

And that the audience is actually staying around for most of your video?

And it's going to start figuring out

the viewing habits of the people who like your video

and how to find other viewers

that are similar to those viewers to test this video in front of

And it'll push it up slowly and see what response it gets

in front of different test audiences

The last important ingredient, and this I can't stress enough

is patience.

Patience.

If you throw a teabag in a cup of hot water

Talking to you Doug Hewson!

And you yank it right back out quickly

All you're going to have his hot water, not tea.

It takes time for that tea to steep

And it takes time for your video content to steep as well

I've had videos that were optimized perfectly

My flow was on point... the retention looked great

But the video jumped up in views when it was first published...

and then fell off the face of the Earth.

But I let it sit there and steep.

All of a sudden, it started to climb

And that little video that only started out with a few hundred views

is now up over five thousand views

It's got great watch time metrics,

A great click-through rate

and it ranks for its title and keyword terms

So it's doing all of the things that we talked about

because it was well optimized it hit its target

And I gave it the time to grow

YouTube tells us content has a shelf-life

Videos don't last forever.

You can have a video today

that is driving thousands of views every day and bringing in hundreds of subscribers

and next month it could go down the charts and never recover.

It's not guaranteed to consistently perform,

especially if it's about a trending topic

But even an evergreen topic.

That's why it's so important to keep making fresh content

Well-optimized content.

Content that is researched and that your target audience is responding to.

If we keep placing all these little investments of content

on our channel, they'll slowly all start paying dividends back to us

At different times

and as each one of them blooms

Your channel will continue to grow.

There's your four steps.

If you've learned anything here today,

hit the subscribe button and the notification bell

So that you can be part of our future conversations, as well

Peace!

The Diablo mobile announcement could be Blizzard's Big Picture. - Duration: 4:14.

Hello, I am Muns Club.

Early in the morning on November 2, we were angry, frustrated and disappointed at the news of Blizzard's Diablo Immortal.

Now Blizzard isn't the same company that we knew about as the woodcutter.

It made me think that the company has become the company that proudly sells Made In China to their IPs.

I only played Diablo 3 for 1700 hours. It's a medium-grade diaper.

I know how to patch it and the season after Necromans came out.

My idea was frankly that Diablo 3 was abandoned. I don't have a patch now that I think

Of course, the game itself is so old, and you don't have the obligation to constantly patch it.

But there were a lot of patches before the Necromans. I always enjoyed playing.

But the story of the second expansion pack went right down, and the Necromans started to squeak.

Well, that's a long story.

After today, I thought about what would happen to Diablo.

Blizzard recruited artists in February and developers in June.

And on November 3, in an interview with Alan Edham, co-founder and senior vice president and executive officer of Blizzard,

The main Diablo and the Immortal teams are clearly different.

So it's clear that Diablo is making something, whether it's a four or a three-fold expansion pack.

There's not much evidence, but I think it's true.

Then why didn't you make the announcement this time?

First, after the release of Diablo 4, Diablo 4 will take a long time to launch and before that, Diablo Immortal comes out on mobile.

If you said this, the users would have loved it. They would have cheered.

But Blizzard's telling us about the next Diablo,

I'm afraid I expected there would be a relatively small amount of interest in Immotal.

I think this is especially true because it was made by a Chinese company, not by themselves.

And you may have noticed that Blizzard wasn't giving a presentation on the work that started at some point.

There used to be a Starcraft Ghost. I said this game was under development, but it was canceled in the middle.

Now, it's not just the game making, it's being developed, it's certainly been set to release, and it's being released in a way that keeps the release date.

The cancellation is gone.

That means we're working on Diablo, but it could have been a vague situation that wasn't decided enough to make the presentation.

So I think Blizzard is going to be able to do this for mobile and Chinese.

This year, Worcraft 3 Reforged and Diablo immortal,

And I thought that if Diablo was really built to speak in front of people, I would definitely make a presentation.

Diablo 2 was released in 2000, compared to Diablo 3 in 2012.

It's a tremendous tumb. Now 6 years have passed since Diablo 3. It may be a long way from now.

So I figured out that maybe I couldn't make the presentation at Bliscon.

I'm going to have to wait a little longer, but I'm done hoping to hear from Diablo sometime. Thank you.
