Hello and welcome to GMax Studios studios. My name is Gorky M. And today we are going to talk about

two great features of the mirrorless camera system.

A short while back we had done a video

comparing dslr's with mirrorless. if you haven't seen that video,

the link is given in the description below.

And in that video we had compared a lot of stuff

but today in this video, I wanted to move away

from all the discussion about battery life, body weight and size etc. and focus only on

the two great features, which in my opinion, make the mirrorless system great.

WHY

MIRROLESS CAMERAS

ARE

AWESOME

ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER

Perhaps the greatest feature of the mirrorless camera system is the EVF,

or the electronic viewfinder.

One of the biggest problems that beginners in photography have,

is that they can't seem to make out whether their photograph

is going to come out underexposed or overexposed.

The EVF takes all the guesswork out of the equation.

Because you can see exactly what your photograph

is going to look like, even before you press the shutter.

In fact, you can also see all the effects that are built into the camera and while these

effects are applied only to the JPEGs, they serve as great reference points.

EVF AND CAMERA LCD ARE NOT THE SAME

while some might debate that the screen at the back of a DSLR essentially performs

the same function as the EVF, but in my opinion it is not the same

for two reasons.

First, if you shoot using the screen at the back of the DSLR

the shooting position makes it very unstable while shooting video or even while taking photographs.

In fact, it is quite intimidating for the subject as well.

If you shoot using the EVF, it gets you back to the classic stance

of holding the camera to your eye, thereby giving you

three contact points, and increasing

stability of your pictures and your video.

EVF EVEN WORKS IN DAYLIGHT

Secondly: the external LCD is practically useless if you're shooting in daylight

because you can hardly see what is going on.

With the EVF, you can put your eye

and see exactly what is gonna happen.

Because - you can not only use it to

compose and take your shots,

but also, to play back what you have shot.

It is like having your own private theater.

FLANGE DISTANCE MATTERS

The second advantage is that

due to the flange distance in mirrorless cameras being

shorter, it is possible to adapt

almost any kind of lens to be used

on your mirrorless cameras.

When I first started using mirrorless cameras,

I was not quite sure of the system.

And in fact, I did not want to invest too much

in lenses to begin with.

But it gave me great comfort to understand that I could

use my existing lenses via an adapter.

While this situation is not ideal

but it really opens up a world of possibilities.

These possibilities

also gave a new lease of life

to my old Leica lenses,

that I love so dearly.

HIGHER IMAGING CAPABILTIES

And of course, if you want the best in image quality,

it is also possible to adapt cinema lenses to your mirrorless cameras.

Something that was quite

unimaginable, till a few years back.

We are in the process of making a video which will talk in detail about

adapting different lenses to your Mirrorless cameras.

RIG BUILD 79 SERIES: A Quick "Wrap-up" ► All 4 Adventure TV - Duration: 2:50.

It's time for a bit of a wrap-up.

So I've come down here to Signarama Nundah, because I want to give the 79 a completely

and utterly different look.

It's got a little bit of texture to it.

It has too.

I really like that, hey.

We're using black as our theme, so it's a black on black.

And so we're using some matte blacks.

We're using some gloss blacks.

And I'm trying to sort of subtly pull the lines out of this truck.

With a little bit of help here with the guys from Signarama, we're gonna be able to get

something that will really turn some heads and turn it into an absolute beast.

So that's all matte, matte, matte.

And then you've got gloss black here.

He wanted to drill down the concept of the build in this beast, so what can we do with

different textures and different styles and finishes of black where we can sort of accentuate

the different parts of the vehicle.

Keep this.

Probably pull this around.

I'm gonna let the 79 go into some capable hands and see what they can come up with that's

gonna build something that'll basically turn heads and stand out and give us that black on black feel.

Excited, very excited to see it.

It's coming very close to the end of this monster build.

Remember, Jase started with a stock standard 79 series Land Cruiser.

First came a 300mm extension from Creative Conversions.

After the tractor headed over to get some extra grunt from Matt and his team at Just Autos,

Creative Conversions added some under-body work with some help from Brown Davis.

Over to Vogue where they gave the 79 some style...

Disco lights.

...bringing out its aggressive front end and worked tirelessly adding interior gear.

Uncle Mike from Clearview paid a visit to help with mirrors and accessories.

EFS provided some kick-ass suspension fitted by the Superior team with their new diff housing.

The lift will give them the chance to throw under some big tyres from Mickey Thompson.

Isaac from Norweld and Waz from BatteryWorld

worked hard together to give Jase the touring canopy of dreams.

And the whole shooting match got wrapped up by Signarama.

Now that's a wrap up.

Jon Gosselin Reunites With Collin, Will Fight for Custody | Heavy.com

Jon Gosselin shared a couple of photos of his son, Collin, this weekend, marking one of the few times the Gosselin youngster has been seen in recent years.

From a fairly young age, Collin was sent to a special school away from his home, taking him away from his family for most of the year.

Collin was home for the holidays and spent some time with his dad, who absconded from the spotlight back in 2011.

At the time, Jon and Kate Gosselin announced their decision to divorce.

Jon always seemed rather uncomfortable on television and decided to leave the popular TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.

Kate went on to film Kate Plus 8 with her kids, sans Collin, whom she has said needed some extra attention due to having special needs.

According to Us Weekly, Jon Gosselin has filed for full custody of Collin, 14, and plans to battle his ex-wife in court.

Six of Collin's seven brothers and sisters continue to live in Pennsylvania with their mom, Kate Gosselin.

Collin's sister, Hannah, has lived with their dad, Jon, full time for about a year now.

After the Thanksgiving holiday, Jon shared the following photo of himself with Hannah and Collin after picking out a Christmas tree.

Jon and Kate Gosselin are due in court on December 4.

Neither Kate nor Jon have publicly commented on the upcoming court date or reported custody battle that is set to ensue.

A survivor of the Rotherham grooming gang today accused the council who gave her rapist permission to access the child he fathered of 'revictimising' her.

The boy's mother, Sammy Woodhouse, 33, waived her anonymity to identify herself as a rape victim, as she revealed she was left 'scared and angry' by the council.

Arshid Hussain, 43, the ringleader of the notorious gang, was not named on her son's birth certificate and had no parental responsibility for the child, who was born after his mother was raped, aged just 15.

Hussain was shot in the stomach in 2005 and now uses a wheelchair.

He is serving 35 years in prison for multiple rape offences against nine victims – some as young as 11 – was contacted last year by officials from Rotherham Council, who said he had a right to see the child.

This morning Miss Woodhouse accused the authority of handing her son to a rapist on a plate and prioritising her attacker's rights over hers.

'As a rape victim I'm constantly told he's got his human rights,' she told the Victoria Derbyshire Show on BBC2.

'What about my human rights? My main issue is I have to fight every single day for something just to be treated like a human being.'.

She said the council should have opposed taking the step to give Hussain access as she fights for a change in the law to deny rapists access to children they have fathered in sickening attacks.

'They should've fought for that child,' she said. 'What they've done is hand my son over on a plate to a rapist.'. This morning she also told Good Morning Britain she was 'mortified' at the decision to give Hussain access.

'I was completely shocked and mortified,' she said. 'I thought when I testified in court and he was sentence to 35 years I thought that was it, I can move on.

'Yet here I am within 12 months later knowing at any moment he could walk through that door.

She is calling for a change in the law so that no rapist is allowed to have access to children they father in sickening attacks.

'Gobsmacked' Miss Woodhouse said she wasn't even told that she was attending court to discuss access for her rapist.

'To then have a social worker say to me [at court] well actually he's not attending and I asked what he meant, and when he told me I was in complete shock.

'I proved he's a direct harm to my child, the fact they've done this - I'm in shock. I'm quite fortunate in my case because he's refused to apply for custody.'.

A 'gobsmacked' Miss Woodhouse, a mother-of-two, said she was campaigning for a change in the law to prevent convicted sex abusers gaining access to children fathered as a result of their crimes.

She said: 'This story is about myself, about my son and about the man that raped me. and the fact that Rotherham Council have offered him to apply for parental rights over my child.

Her anger was mirrored by that of Linzi Williams, who Arshid Hussain also impregnated when she was 15. She waived her anonymity for a Channel 4 documentary last year. Today she told MailOnline that allowing Hussain access was 'absolutely disgusting'.

'I am speechless that this would be allowed to happen,' she said. 'Social services supposed to protect children and people from paedophiles and rapists not give them contact.

'It's just another massive betrayal by social services how are people supposed to start trusting in them when they do something as stupid as this?'. 'This is happening all over the country and it needs to stop.

Children are being removed, being given to rapists, to murderers, for their families to have access – rape victims are having to go to support centres to share access.'.

Hussain, who is of Pakistani origin, opted not to get involved with the boy. But the South Yorkshire council's decision to contact him was criticised as 'perverse' and 'ridiculous' by victims' charities and campaigners.

Nazir Afzal, former chief crown prosecutor for the North-West, said: 'They (councils) think they are doing the right thing because they are told it is important the child has access to both parents, but it is wrong.

'By following the letter of the law they are lacking judgment – they are applying a tick-box approach when it is plainly a ridiculous thing to do. 'Rapists have no right to the child born of that rape.

Ms Woodhouse who now campaigns on behalf of sex assault victims was plied with drugs, abused and threatened at gunpoint by Hussain and his gang.

In 2016, Hussain and his two brothers were jailed at Sheffield Crown Court for sexually assaulting, grooming and raping young girls. The brothers were also convicted of forcing a dozen girls into prostitution.

Louise Haigh, the shadow police and crime minister, who is backing Miss Woodhouse's campaign to change the Children Act 1989, told The Times that the council's decision was 'appallingly insensitive'.

'They handed him an invitation to re-traumatise his victim,' she said. 'No man who has fathered a child through abuse or rape should have the right to apply for custody or visitation rights.'.

Baroness Newlove, the victims' commissioner for England and Wales, said the decision was 'perverse', adding: 'This appears to be a case in which a victim of the worst sexual violence faced the prospect of continuing to be abused by her perpetrator, this time via the family courts.

It is understood the Ministry of Justice is investigating whether the decision to involve the serial rapist was the result of a social worker's error or systemic failings.

The decision was taken last year when the council applied, with the consent of Miss Woodhouse, to take her teenage son into care. She was struggling to cope with his complex needs.

By law, councils are obliged to notify 'all respondents' of such proceedings.

Despite acknowledging in documentation that Hussain had no parental responsibility for the boy and that Miss Woodhouse had been emotionally, sexually and physically abused by him, the council named him as a 'respondent'.

This has been a very long journey. So I'm trying to break it down so I can tell you guys exactly what happened

every single one of my front teeth

had a chip in it somewhere one day I was eating a tricky sandwich and I

Bit wrong. I don't remember which one it was, but I'm pretty sure it was my canine that just fell straight out

when I bit into the tricky sandwich and I I

Was devastated I started crying and I I didn't know what to do

First of all, I was so self-conscious about my smile in the first place now

I don't even have a tooth at all there

I have that missing tooth for quite a while and it definitely

Killed my self-esteem because I never smiled if I could hide my smile the better

It would be I hardly smile my whole entire life just because I didn't want to show my teeth

I would either

smell without my teeth or eyewear if I couldn't like out if I was laughing at something that was just hilarious then I would just

cover my

cover my mouth and like act like oh ha ha ha ha, you know, I know it was just to cover cover my

Teeth around the age of 22

I believe I finally went to see a dentist to figure out what I could do in what I could afford

This is when the did just first told me that my front teeth were not capable at all at that time

I was given the choice to remove the front

6 teeth for a denture partial implants or pay ten times

More the price and get them

Permanently implanted so I had to go with the cheaper option because that was really my only option

so I talked about this a lot over with my

She just went through this like ten years before I was she convinced me that there is nothing more

Important than my health and it would give me the confidence and might smile again and I went to go see if I was qualified

For this for this credit card called Care Credit, which is a credit card for medical stuff only. I didn't qualify

Unfortunately, because I had no credit at the time

But fortunately my mom was so graciously kind enough to apply herself

And then I would pay her back

I decided to get my top six front teeth extracted and replaced with a partial denture

so I had the remaining real teeth in the back and

the partial would had little hooks on it that hooked onto my real teeth thought gave me more control of them, but

Later down the road. I found out that that's not

Honestly, I hated those teeth compared to the teeth that have now at the time they were

Life-changing but compared to the look of them now and compared to my first partial

I'm very much more pleased with these ones and they were actually a lot more difficult to stay in

They always would fall out and get loose and it was really really embarrassing. So back to the first extraction that

Whole experience was completely life-changing

like I said

the first time I ever had teeth extracted was like a week before I had the big procedure done and I didn't get the

Anesthesia because it would have been a crap ton of more money

There was some teeth I had no problem with they they gas me up. They numbed me a bite

That's like one of the worst parts of the dentist. Is that stupid needle with any nun me?

Oh, I hate that so much, but they numbed me up. They gassed me up good and

It was fine. I didn't have it was weird like I had pressure and stuff, but it it was fine

It was no hit wasn't a big deal. A lot of people get their wisdom teeth taken out. It's it's normal

My next appointment was to extract

The six top teeth and they did the same thing

They gassed me up and they numbed me up

And well, I really should have paid the extra to get the anesthesia because that seriously scarred me for life

And I know everyone is different. It was just me sitting there

Realizing what's actually happening. I'm never going to have real teeth up there anymore. And

the realization was really sinking in I started crying and

it was really embarrassing but the dentist stopped what she was doing, and she

Reassured me that I was doing the right thing

I was it was the best thing that I could do for my health and I'm gonna have a brand new smile after this and

She was and it was very very sweet of her. So this whole procedure costs about

$2,500. I believe when I got home I remember being in a lot of pain, but it did not compare to

the tooth pain that I wasn't the one thing that I had a really hard time with was

All the blood rose warning the first night after the extractions

I had slept with the gauze in my mouth

and when I woke up my mouth was like

Full of blood and just like the smell and taste just like made me want to throw up I had to relearn how to eat

again, how to talk again cottage cheese and mac and cheese and

SpaghettiOs were my best friend the second hardest part for me. I think was getting used to learning how to eat

I was terrified to try to eat certain fruit foods just because I was scared to like

Rupture my gum or something

I was just terrified to eat any solid food for a really long time

Probably took me about two months to get it comfortable eating and salted foods again

And my first soul of food was a fish sandwich from McDonald other than the eating part

I don't think it took me a really long time to get used to the partials

I was just always afraid that they were going to like fall out or people were going to notice and

That was my biggest fear. I noticed myself smiling a lot more which more people started recognizing my smile on a good way

I remember this time I was helping a customer at my previous job and she had left the store and came back and

Came back over to my desk and just randomly said you have a really beautiful smile

I just want to let you know that that was one of the first times I can remember that anybody ever complimented on my smile

And I will never ever forget that so years won by and I should have cut going to the dentist

But I didn't I was too afraid and ashamed that I needed to get more

Removed even though they weren't doing me any good when I was about 26. I started getting

massive pain in my right

Top top right area I decided to go to this new dentist that was in town

I read really really good reviews on and when I got there I was not disappointed

I met with the dentist and instead of going straight to the dentist room and stuff and having me sit in the dentist where

she had me come into her office and

Like get to know me before we even start before she even starts looking at my teeth that kind of made me feel even more

Comfortable. I was completely honest and straightforward with her

I told her that I have a partial that my teeth are

Absolutely awful and I don't know what's gonna happen, but I'm in a lot of pain

I told her all my history and my fear of dentist because I I

Always feel judged when I go to the dentist

She reassured me that she sees this all the time and so she did a full evaluation

On my teeth and set me down to talk about my options. She said that there are no

Teeth that are savable except for maybe

four and she said that we can try to save those ones but

What's gonna happen in about five years?

you might come back and

You've just wasted all that money for so she said that a full denture would be her suggestion

I knew I was going to hear those words, but I didn't realize I was only going 26 I said, let's do it

let's start making a plan and we did they gave me a quote for the

Extractions that I would be having for the back top teeth

And I got the procedure done back in September 2017 last year. I remember

Way more nervous about this one than my first procedure. I think

Because I I knew what to expect but it was gonna be all of my top teeth. Like how do they stay in? Like I

had so many questions and I was kind of nervous that somebody on the internet would notice the difference and

Not be nice about it

The shape of my teeth then and now I did post on Twitter that I had the procedure done

but not everyone on YouTube has a Twitter so I don't know who knows and who

I've started gaining so much more confidence with this smile because these are the best teeth that I've ever

Had in my life the healing process was actually pretty fast with this one

I felt I think it's because I kind of knew what to expect they felt very dull and raw

My worst fear now was how did they stay in?

Like I don't have that hook to grab onto the back of my teeth

Like they did a really really good job of like molding my teeth and the denture itself is made from some like suction

Materials stuff whatever that is

It does a really good job of holding them in without me even having to use like Fixodent or denture glue

Stuff just yet. Anyway, Oh tomorrow is actually

the day of my extraction I was going to make this video a while ago, but

Like I said, I've been pushing this video off or sometime tomorrow. I will be removing the rest of

NaNoWriMo 2018 Day 27 vlog - Duration: 5:32.

Hey there! It's Diane, the nursing geek. Day 27 of NaNoWriMo. I'm at 46 thousand and

something words, so still progressing. Slowing down and slowing down. I mean,

yesterday I only got 163 words total and no filming whatsoever, so yeah it's um...

It's in some ways slowing down, which I suppose it kind of should towards the

end. On the other hand, you would think as you're ramping up to the climax, things

would build up. I'm finding that I'm running into a familiar problem though.

I know the character resolution and I know roughly the plot resolution. It's trying

to make them happen together with enough resonance that's the challenge.

I remember having the same problem with my first novel-length work, so I went back

and reread the final chapter of that. I think one of the things I'm going to

need to do in December is go back and reread the whole thing, because when I

reread the final chapter, my reaction was, "I did that? Really? That's how I worked

this out?" It didn't even include the final fight scene. That must have been in

the second to last chapter, which... I remember my beta reader saying, "Okay, this...

this is not a fight scene. This is a show up,

KABOOOM, walk away scene that doesn't work" and my internal reaction that I

don't think I shared with her at the time was, "Well yeah, that's because I

don't care about the fight. The fight's just there because that needs to be tied

up somehow, but the real stuff is what happens after." That's really not ideal.

You want the character resolution and the plot resolution to come

together so that you don't have a fight scene that you then have to go back and...

i remember still being unsatisfied with how it turned out. I didn't get that

feedback from readers but I seem to have really good readers who only said things

nice things or just didn't say anything at all. I think my beta reader was even

like, "Okay, well you punched it up a little, but that's still not a really good

fight scene." And fight scenes are hard. They are really hard to write anyway, and

if you don't actually care about the fight, it's gonna show, and it did. I do

care about the fight here, sort of, but I care about what it shows for the

character and the decisions she's gonna have to make. She's already had to

make a couple of decisions that, back at the beginning, she would never have made,

but that she really needed to make.

I need to figure out how to how to wrap it up, deal with the antagonist in a way

that's satisfying, both in terms of how the antagonist is dealt with and what

that shows about Vi. And then I keep repeating the mantra,

"There's always revisions. There's always revisions. There's always revisions."

So, it doesn't have to be perfect now. I just need to barrel through it. [clears throat] which is

how I managed to crank out eight hundred something words this morning, just... just

literally dragging the characters literally through the woods toward this

final conflict. Gotta run soon. I've got

an appointment before work and then work, which is going to be lots of meetings

all day, and then hopefully getting some stuff done once everybody else leaves.

And then trying to write when I get home. As seems to be becoming my catchphrase, we'll see.

Yeah, I felt asleep before I managed to wrap up the day yesterday. Grand total of

words was 893. Didn't manage to write anything when I got home in the evening,

'cause I was just way too tired. I mean I'm talking fell asleep at 8:30 at night

tired. (I don't do that) so not a whole lot got done there. So this is me trying to

wrap it up so that it doesn't just end on a "we'll see" note even though that's

pretty much what its gonna be anyway, even if those aren't the last words I say.
