President Park dismisses rumors, suspects scandal is 'orchestrated scheme' - Duration: 1:44.
Let's start with an interview President Park Geun-hye gave on Wednesday... with a local
online media outlet ... In it... she claimed her innocence,... calling
the corruption scandal surrounding herself and her close friend, Choi Soon-sil,... a
mix of false accusations and misunderstandings.
She even called it part of a carefully crafted conspiracy stretching back years.

In a rare move, President Park Geun-hye held an exclusive interview with a local media
outlet that aired via YouTube Wednesday evening.
During an hour-long one-on-one with the chief editor of the Korea Economic Daily, one of

"huge mountain built on lies."
President Park denied most rumors and allegations against her - and said the whole series of
events surrounding the scandal seem like a well-orchestrated scheme prepared over a long
period of time.
"Tracing back on the development of the situation, to be honest, I cannot help but feel that
it's been planned for a very long time."
Park also said she will respond to an in-person questioning by the independent counsel...

Trump vows to renegotiate NAFTA - Duration: 2:24.
In his first week in office, U.S. President Donald Trump made good on his campaign pledge
by pulling America out of the Trans Pacific Partnership.
Going back to Sunday, he vowed to begin talks to renegotiate the North American Free Trade
Agreement, or NAFTA.
Kim Hyesung breaks down the new administration's actions so far on the trade front... and the
possible repercussions for trade with Korea.
U.S. President Donald Trump is going full speed ahead with his protectionist agenda,
this time moving to renegotiate NAFTA, the trade pact between the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
On the campaign trail, Trump criticized NAFTA as "the worst trade deal in the history of
the U.S.," which had cost American jobs.
But experts say it won't be easy to renegotiate the deal with America's top two trading partners
which buy over thirty percent of U.S. exports.
- "In NAFTA, you've had over two decades of
built-up business practices and institutions that have largely regulated trade between
Canada, U.S. and Mexico.
All of a sudden you are going to change the way.
The bureacracy will have to learn the new rules, and businesses will have to learn the
rules.
Those are costs.
A new trade agreement will have to go through a whole set of negotiation, and get to Congress
to be ratified.
That could take as long as four years, five years."
But with Trump having signaled that he will seek one-on-one trade deals that benefit America,
and having nominated for trade representative Robert Lighthizer, a former trade representative
under the Reagan Administration who also advocates protectionism, there are concerns that Trump
could also try to renegotiate the Korea-U.S. FTA.
- "If Trump successfuly renegotiates NAFTA,
resolves issues like tarriffs and currency rates with China, the Korea-U.S. FTA could
be his next target and try to put favorable terms for the U.S.."
Since being sworn into office, President Trump has moved quickly to protect U.S. industry
and labor, warning multinationals of penalties if they don't move their factories to the
U.S.... and grabbing the attention of many Korean automobile and electronics companies
with interests in the American market.

Korea's top court sentences killer to 20 years in jail for 1997 Itaewon murder case - Duration: 2:24.
Korea's Supreme Court has sentenced Arthur Patterson to 20 years behind bars.
The decision comes almost 2 decades after the American citizen murdered a Korean college
student in Seoul's Itaewon district.
For details we turn to Kim Jung-soo
The Supreme Court of Korea on Wednesday delivered its final verdict regarding the infamous Itaewon
Burger King murder case.
The nation's top court upheld the Seoul High Court's ruling of a 20-year sentence for U.S.
citizen Arthur John Patterson for the murder of Cho Joong-pil, a Korean college student
who was found stabbed to death at a Burger King restaurant in Seoul's popular district
of Itaewon two decades ago.
The twenty-year sentence is the strongest penalty possible for the 37-year-old Patterson
according to Korean law,... as he was under 18 years old at the time of the murder.
Patterson was promptly arrested along with Korean-American Edward Lee.
Both suspects accused each other of the murder.
What appeared to be a relatively simple case at first, turned put to be a 20-decade-long
headache for the prosecution due to the improper handling of various bureaucratic and legal
issues surrounding the case.
Prosecutors had first identified Lee as the prime suspect, while Patterson was treated
as an accomplice and sentenced to 18 months in prison for lesser charges including obstruction
of justice.
But in 1998, the Supreme Court acquitted Lee for lack of evidence, while Patterson was
released prematurely as part of an Amnesty program.
And since prosecutors had failed to properly extend a travel ban on Patterson, he was able
to flee back to the U.S. in August, 1999.
Receiving fierce and widespread criticism from the public as well as the victim's family,
the prosecution finally reopened the case in 2009.
With the help of the U.S. Department of Justice, Patterson was captured in May of 2011 and
extradited to Korea in September of 2015, and eventually sentenced to the 20-year term
by the Seoul High Court in 2016.
The mother of the victim said she is relieved to hear the final verdict.
"I hope my son can be born wealthy in his next life so he can do everything he wishes
to do and also help others in need, just as he was helped by many after he died."

Record-low number of marriages and births expected for year 2016 in Korea - Duration: 2:03.
Korea is expected to have recorded an all-time low number of both new marriages and births
last year.
Another sign of demographic trends resulting in an older population... and one that could
eventually begin to shrink.
Park Ji-won has zooms in on the pattern seen in Korea for many years now.
The number of people getting married and having babies in Korea is apparently continuing to
fall.
According to data released by Statistics Korea on Wednesday,... last November saw around
25-thousand-4-hundred new marriages registered,... a decline of about 2-point-3 percent from
the same month a year earlier.
Looking at the total for 2016, from January to November,... the number of marriages fell
about six percent from the year before, continuing a trend that's gone on now for several years.
And if it continued into last December -- though the numbers aren't out yet -- last year will
have seen the fewest marriages since records were kept -- fewer than the all-time low set
in 2003,... when 302-thousand couples got married.
Officials at the Statistics Korea said,... the marriages among people in their early
30s, previously the most common age for tying the knot, have decreased significantly.
Meanwhile, the number of babies born in Korea also fell last year.
New births last November hit a record-low monthly total at around 30-thousand,... a
drop of nearly 10-percent on-year,... and the fewest in a single month... since January
2000... when that statistic was first compiled.
The yearly total for 2016 through November was down more than six percent from the year
before, and when the December figure is included, last year is expected to have seen the fewest
births on record, adding to concerns about the future of a country that is rapidly aging.

Microsoft Surface Studio – Inspiration - Duration: 1:25.
Yeah, it's not fair.
I can't tell you what my favorite part of the product is.
It's totally not fair.
I did this once with my children, even as a joke, and I still regret it, right now to
this day.
But this product, it really is beautiful.
It's hard to debate.
But it's fun!
It's fun.
And you know some of your best creative moments is when you're having fun.
This idea of having a screen
that's so immersive, the
thing you pull towards you, the thing you lean into, the thing you can get close to
even if you're typing.
Every pixel on there—the importance of it—was get you in it.
And once you're in it you can be
the best creator, the best designer, the best engineer, the best person
you want to be in that product when you're making something.
And the first time I put my hands on it and pulled it, it was just that same feeling of
pulling something towards you that you love.
You know, you grab your kids, and pull 'em in.
You grab your family members, you pull 'em in.
And you grab a book, and you hug it if you love your book.
It doesn't matter.
That's the metaphor.
And this product is a product now
metaphorically that you pull
towards yourself when you want to get into your most creative spot.
And we wanted that.
It's when you see that happen, that inspiration.
The first time I pulled it down, and I was able to lean down and put
the pen down, I think I wanted to cry because I felt like we had something that was surreal.
It's true.
There's nothing on the planet that matches that feeling.

Microsoft Surface Studio – True Color, True Size - Duration: 1:42.
Microsoft Surface Studio – True Color, True Transcript
There's this phenomenal thing of being true to scale.
If your output is a piece of graphic design that is a brochure that goes to a customer,
it's very important how the objects feel true to a human scale.
So, we've designed our software into that, that, you can get into a mode where you know,
where a letter on a four size, you know, paper is on the screen what it is in reality.
And it gives you an amazing sense of the relation to the final outcome to what you've just
created.
Open that Word document, and you'll see the real size ink, and what
you see is what you get.
For me, that's a big deal.
I create in documents.
And I feel like I'm now in the document, I don't come out.
But more importantly, is the true color on the device.
The depth of the color on this product is pretty, pretty unmatched.
The fact that we use our own Surface technology, to color calibrate every screen, to make 'em
perfect.
That's the power of this screen.
That's what we wanted to bring to life.
Now, if you're a creator you know how far that goes.
If you're a painter, you know how far that goes.
We've done the research across different professions, and normal consumers.
And then you find these spaces where oh, this is the appropriate color space for this profession.
This is the appropriate color space for that profession.
So, for example, if you would video editing, we have created a color space for you.
Just a click of the button.
Then you be, then the screen transforms into a color space that is true for video.
I think what you find, um, when you use Surface Studio is there are the little things that
make the biggest difference.

LG Electronics posts Q4 loss, but experts forecast better prospects ahead - Duration: 2:25.
LG Electronics had a tough fourth quarter last year.
While sales increased from the year before, the company has run up a deficit -- largely
due to its mobile division.
Oh Soo-young has the numbers.
LG Electronics' quarterly earnings are in the red for the first time in six years.
The Korean electronics giant posted an operating loss of 35 billion won, or roughly 30 million
U.S. dollars in the October to December period.
This compares to the company's profit of 298 million dollars for the same period in 2015.
Sales came to 12-point-6 billion dollars,... up one-point-five percent from the year before...
and beating a market consensus of around 12-point-2 billion dollars.
However, the profit line was largely dragged downward by losses in the struggling mobile
division, which posted a loss of 399 million dollars.
The mobile division has been in the red for six quarters in a row.
"Despite the release of the V20, there wasn't a flagship model to make up for the lost sales
volume after sales of the G5 flopped at the end of the second quarter.
So revenue fell into the billion-dollar range, and that brought the division into the red."
Even the home appliance and home entertainment divisions, the main drivers of profit for
the company, couldn't contain the blow.
Sales grew 5-point-6 percent and one-point-one percent respectively compared to the year
before, but a rise in prices of LCD displays along with marketing costs and seasonal markdowns
pulled down the margin.
Still, analysts say better prospects are in the cards for this year, as the company shapes
up its premium range of household appliances and entertainment products for the global
market.
"More than anything, we expect the vehicle components division to do well.
LG is supplying GM Chevrolet's Bolt model with OEM components.
In the second half of the year, we think revenue will increase significantly and that profit
will recover faster than expected."
"The upcoming release of its new flagship G6 smartphone presents the company with another
opportunity to turn its second quarter earnings around,... especially because the device will
be launched before Samsung releases its Galaxy S8.
LG could see its profits rise even further following a series of planned structural changes
and other cost reductions in the mobile division.
Oh Soo-young, Arirang News."

Korean economy grows 2.7% in 2016 - Duration: 2:13.
According to nation's central bank....
Korea recorded 2-point-7 percent growth last year,... logging a slightly slower pace of
expansion.... than what the government was hoping for.
Shin Se-min shares with us the report card for Asia's fourth largest economy.
The Korean economy grew two-point-seven percent last year,...
short of the government's two-point-eight percent target.
With it, the country's economy posted a growth below the three percent mark for two consecutive
years.
"Private consumption is the main driver of Korea's economic growth... at almost 50 percent.
There was a significant on-quarter increase in facility investment,... but slowing domestic
demand, from a zero-point-five percent rise in the third quarter to zero-point-two percent
in the fourth,... affected the overall growth rate."
The Bank of Korea said the growth was dragged down by a sharp drop in construction investment
and a slowdown in private spending,... in the face of a developing political scandal
that shook the nation to its core.
And measures like the government's expansionary fiscal policy, worth 9-point-7 billion U.S.
dollars,... a nationwide sales event in October,... and temporary designated holidays in May and
in June,... relatively garnered some degree of success in stimulating private spending.
And experts say, such government-initiated efforts will likely be necessary, looking
ahead this year,... despite a pickup in exports, which we're already seeing in key items like
chips and displays.
"As there seems to be not much room for increase in wages, there will not be any boost in private
consumption.
And the wage issue is something that can only be resolved through improved conditions on
the employment front.
So all in all, things won't be easy this year without the government's extra help."
Bracing for such concern,... Korea's finance minister unveiled plans to stabilize the people's
livelihoods by frontloading more than 30 percent of the government's 2017 budget - some 72
billion U.S. dollars - in the first quarter,... a method that it has relied on for the past
couple of years.

'Smart Shopper' challenges how we do everyday activities - Duration: 2:56.
Grocery shopping without the hassle of having to carry your shopping basket... is just one
of the many convenience brought about by new smart technologies.
They're also changing how a variety of everyday activities are done.
As useful as they can be, there are concerns.
What could it mean for jobs and society on the whole?
Kwon Jang-ho brings us this report.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution...it's the term that refers to a new age of technologies
that's changing the world at a faster rate than ever before.
Artificial intelligence, the internet of things and big data are just some examples, realized
in the form of self-driving cars, smart assistants and robots.
But while the promise of these inventions has been touted, it's not yet being felt in
most people's lives.
"Technological advances can seem like science fiction at times but it's when they start
to affect everyday activities like shopping that people start to feel the impact."
This department store in Bundang has introduced a new way to shop.
With its smart shopper system, customers pick up a small scanner and tag the items they
want to buy.
It eliminates the hassle of having to carry heavy items in a shopping basket, not to mention
the hassle of having to get them home.
After you pay for the items at an automated kiosk, the goods are delivered right to your
home.
- "Before, I had to wait in long lines at the
checkout, but now I can use the smart shopper system to pay.
It's really quite convenient."
Aside from the convenience to shoppers, the system also helps stores gather data about
their customers' shopping habits.
- SK "The scanner can track the shoppers' movement
and see what they're interested in... and that information can be very useful.
They can see which items in which section attracted a lot of interest and how people
are spending their money."
Automated checkout systems have been on the rise in Europe, and U.S. online retail giant
Amazon recently announced plans to launch completely cashier-free convenience stores
this year.
But this has once again raised one of the biggest concerns about the Fourth Industrial
Revolution -- the loss of jobs.
- "These technologies are not necessarily trying
to replace people, but they have been developed in order to make people's lives better and
easier.
Of course, there are negative effects that come out of this as well, and efforts need
to be made to minimize them...for example by providing support for people to find new
jobs or by creating new jobs in these new fields."
Although the impact of new technologies on society needs to be considered, these new
devices ultimately come from the demand for more efficiency and comfort.
And with new smarter technologies being developed faster than ever, we can expect to see more
and more changes in our everyday lives.

U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis expected to visit Seoul next month - Duration: 1:45.
America's new defense chief is expected to visit Seoul in the coming weeks.
James Mattis and his South Korean counterpart Han Min-koo will have plenty to chew over
amid the rising North Korean threats, simmering tension with China and defense cost-sharing
for U.S. troop presence in the nation.
Kim Hyun-bin outlines what to expect from the meetings.
Newly-confirmed U.S. Defense Secretary James "Mad Dog" Mattis is expected to visit Seoul
early next month for talks with his South Korean counterpart Han Min-koo.
South Korea's defense ministry said Wednesday that the two allies are currently in talks
to iron out the details of what could be Mattis' first overseas trip as President Trump's defense
chief.
The official added that Mattis is also considering a stop in Tokyo,... but it's unclear which
capital he'll visit first.
The two defense chiefs are expected to reaffirm the South Korea-U.S. alliance and discuss
ways to better counter North Korea's nuclear and missile threats.
Other possible agenda items could include the planned deployment of the THAAD missile
defense system to South Korea, which is scheduled for the middle of the year, and the renegotiation
of the defense sharing burden.
Meanwhile, the top nuclear envoys from South Korea, the U.S. and Japan are also expected
to meet next month in Washington to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in dealing with
North Korea's nuclear and missile threats.
South Korea's foreign ministry said Wednesday that Kim Hong-kyun, Seoul's special representative
for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs,... will meet with his U.S. and Japanese counterparts
Joseph Yun and Kenji Kanasugi.
This meeting will be the first under the new U.S. administration and is likely to focus

Pokemon Go - Hatching Gen 2 Pokemons with Lord V! - Duration: 16:12.
Hi, it`s me Lord V. Welcome to my Pokemon Go video!
I have six eggs that are about to pop.
Hoping for those gen 2 Pokemons!
Lets put on some funky music and Pokemon..
Go..
Go!
Goooooo!
Ok I have two 10k eggs that will soon pop
and four 5k eggs.
Oh what can it be? what can it be?
I am excited!
(Sorry for the bad "Norwegianenglish";))
Ooooo yeees, needed that one!
Nice!
Oh what can it be?
Aahhrrr. Well it`s ok, need the stardust and the candy
for the upcomming gen 2 evolutions, so,
and off course they always have a
nice IV in the eggs, so it`s ok.
Mmmm I think the next 10K egg will pop very soon, yea.
I am on my way to a pokestop that is
pretty decent the guys at Pokesandland told me.
They are nice guys but their force is weak!
Yes the next 10k - hoping for another one!
Yeeees! Whuuuu needed that one!
Ok nice.
Um whats that?
Hey a Rattatatatatata!
Come to papa.
Gotcha!
Huh, whats that?
A Caterpie - no one escapes!
Stay.
Gotcha!
Oooh, this seems like a nice place!
perhaps I will go for a swim.
Hey, a Meowth.
Ah whaaaaat?
You punk!
Well I guess some escapes..
Not my type off vheicles but it`s nice here.
(really bad whistling by Lord V.:)!)
Hey, a Poliwag and a Psyduck.
Oh that was a bad throw..
Huh ok a little better this time.
Ah come on!
Oh I am out off pokeballs.
Lets hope the stop will give us some.
Gotcha!
Ok, two Magikarps
and one Meowth
and a Sandschrew
ok, what!
He got scared, one off the Magikarps got away.
Ok I`ll take this one first..
Easy!
Ohhh yeees a Ditto!
Perhaps ok - I will IV it later.
Using the force!
Stay stay. Gotcha!
Ok I guess I`ll take the Meowth.
Gotcha!
Mmmm yeah I can take the Ekans as well.
Use a great ball on you
Skills!! Haha!
Ok so I have three more eggs that will pop soon.
I think we`ll just go out on this pier and back and
then they will probably pop ass well.
Lets see whats behind these rocks.
Ooooooo nice!
As you probably understand I`m on vacation.
so, this is nice.
Uuum.
Move!
Well ok.
I always do Pokemon on my vacations.
Craaappy vehicles!
Ahhhhh the fresh air!!
Uh, look at me, Walking on wather.
Say what?!
Ooo that`s a nice chain, like that,
could be a nice neckles.
Ok I`ll better stopp here then.
I don`t have my life vest..
You`re probably wondering which level I`m in
The mighty Lord V!
Sadly the Pokemon Go came a little late to my galaxy,
so I am only at level 27, and..
I`ll take you later chain!
Um and I must admit that I have been playing a bit stupid
until about level 25.
Um because I didn`t IV my Pokemons,
So if you don`t then start doing it!
It gets even more fun when you IV.
ooo I am excited to see whats in the next three eggs,
crossing my fingers!
Hopefully I get a few more pokeballs at the stop so
that I can take with me the rest off the Pokemons.
I don`t like leaving any behind!
Where did the sun go?
I won`t bathe if there is no sun..
ahhrr crap!
Yes! Come on come on give me some.
Come on, come on.
Naaaah - well thats ok as well regarding the gen2 evolutions.
Ok the next one.
ahhhhrrr. Did not need that one, but ok.
So this is the last one.
Yeeesss! Pichu! Wow what a Pokemon,
Nice! Haha!
Ok so three generation 2 hatchings out of six
thats nice, thats pretty decent, like it!
Me liiike!!
Should I take em or leave em alone?
Think I`ll run past them, no, I`ll take em out.
What!! You punk!!!
stay!
Gotcha!
Ok so now the other one.
yeah thats a given
Gotcha! Hehe.
Ooooh thats a nice spot on topp off that hill,
I`ll park the Death Star there next time and smash that house!!
Thats it for now, take care and remember to hit that like button
and subscribe! Bye bye.

S. Korea, France issue statement condemning N. Korea's nuclear program - Duration: 0:46.
South Korea and France have urged North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons development
and immediately abide by its international obligations.
At their first high-level meeting solely on Pyongyang's nuclear issue... that was held
in Paris on Wednesday, Seoul's representative for the six-party talks on the denuclearization
of North Korea Kim Hong-kyun and senior French Foreign Ministry official Nicolas de Riviere
issued a statement against the North's nuclear threat,... in which the two countries condemned
the regime in the strongest terms.
Both stressed the importance of enforcing the implementation of sanctions,... and France
vowed to continue helping the European Union adopt additional independent sanctions in
the near future.

iDubbbz made Tana Mongeau CRY with the N WORD / Aaron Fuller USED Jackson Krecioch FOR VIEWS? - Duration: 5:07.
Alright
First of all, I wanna tank the people to subscribe to my channel
Also, if you didn't know, I was on Scarce's channel.
So, I ended up getting a lot of support
No but seriously guys, Thank you.
For the first topic we have
Ethan talked about pranksters transforming their channels in to TOY CHANNELS
And how bizarre they are.
Like, some of them are even pornographic.
Oh yeah
Toy Channel PORN
For the next topic
iDubbbz actually ended up making Tana Mongeau CRY
Tana Mongeau uploaded a video called "The N Word"
Now in this video, she explains that...
while she was on tour, signing autographs
2 people approached her
And one of the people started recording, while the other allegedly grabbed Tana
And asked Tana to say the N Word
With the HARD R
Also, not only was idubbbz seen at the event but also
Tana said the next on snapchat
Also, we have some pretty gay drama
The instagram model, Aaron Fuller
Who used to be in a relationship with Jackson Cockroach
Was exposed by this guy
Because this guy, ended up releasing private conversations
In which, Aaron kind of admits that he was with Jackson just for followers
And to this, Aaron ended up issuing an apology
Where he said that he was just joking
Also Trisha Paytas, might've actually had a stroke
So in the video, she describes what sounds like a stroke
And a lot of people are saying that it was a stroke
Now the thing about this is that
Some people are saying that
This is actually fake
And for attention
That's why she ended up getting a lot of hate
Also YummiR6 ended up getting in to a car crash
He posted this video where... as you can see the car was hit really hard
And actually he claims that it was his fault
Also, if you can not remember, 1 year ago...
Keemstar accused an innocent 62 year old man of being a PEDOPHILE
And he ended up getting a lot of hate
Now the thing about this is that
Keemstar made a lot of promises to this 62 year old man
Among them was: Paying for a trip and money
But it seems like Keemstar, might've not go through with those promises
Now to be fair with keemstar, like Tony said he doesn't really care
And also Keemstar claims that
He already direct messaged the adress
But Tony allegedly ditched Keemstar
So it might all be a missunderstanding

Red & Gold Nails | TakiyahLouise - Duration: 2:06.
Hi, I'm Takiyah Louise.
Thanks for clicking through to view my video on my Red & Gold Nails.
Let's get started!
First up, I apply my Unt Ready For Takeoff peel off base coat.
Then, I apply 2 coats of Bundle Monster's Creative Nail Art Polish in Crimson Red.
Next, I apply the first layer of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
Then, I cut these gold Milv Nail's Design Water Decals that I purchased from What'sUpNails
to the size of my nail & soak them in water for about 10 seconds.
I take them out of the cup & slide the decal from the blue backing & carefully place it
on my nail.
Once on my nail I cut off the excess & continue to smooth any wrinkles in the decal before
adding the final layer of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat to lock it on my nail.
Finally, I finish up my using my clean up brush & acetone.
And that's it for now.
I hope you enjoyed this video.
If you did, please comment, like, share & subscribe.

[Closed Caption] Shin Koihime Musou - Moeshouden 022 - Duration: 27:26.
Touka: Hmm... what should I do...
Touka: Ah, this seems fresh and nice! ...But, how do you cook tougan again...
Touka: Do you just eat it like sweets? Or do you bake it? #Tougan seems to be some sort of a watermelon#
Sheren: Just what are you talking about? It's best to simmer tougan...
Touka: Oh? Ah, Sheren-san! #The whole event is about food again#
Sheren: You never pay attention to your surrounding when you focus on something.
Touka: ?
Sheren: Just talking to myself... So, why would Shoku king come to a fruit market all by herself?
Sheren: It might be peaceful, but isn't it a bit careless for you, Shoku king, to be walking outside alone?
Touka: Eh? But same applies to Sheren-san. #Except for she can fight back... not that it stops arrows...#
Sheren: Ahaha, you and I are on whole different strength levels... especially when it comes to killing someone without hesitation.
Sheren: Anyway, can you answer my question? #Also, Sheren is not a king anymore, Renfa is#
Touka: Ah, umm... I just thought I should try cooking. #Then she needed to come with Shion instead#
Sheren: Cooking? Why all of sudden?
Touka: Master is eating outside a lot lately, so I thought I should give him some homemade cooking...
Sheren: Aha... so you want to seduce Kazuto with your home cooking. #Harem of almost 50 girls, king of the country... and noone feeds him...#
Touka: Ah, n, no! That's not it! #Actually, what are Yue and Ei doing? Ah, right, paperwork...#
Sheren: Yes, yes. You say that, but that won't fool the eye of this Sheren-oneesan.
Touka: Au...
Sheren: And I understand how you feel, Touka... there's plenty of powerful rivals around Kazuto.
Touka: Yeah... #THEN DON'T BACKSTAB HIM!#
Sheren: So that's why you're trying to seduce Kazuto by cooking. #Like, this goal seriously contradicts that "Rin murder" event#
Touka: N, not to that point! At least... I don't think so... #Then again, given Moeshouden logic, that event "never happened"#
Touka: And I'm not exactly good at cooking... #Most events should be seen as some sort of IF scenarios#
Sheren: Hmm...
Touka: But I'll at least put all my feelings into that dish!
Sheren: I see. Then, all that's left is to get better at cooking. #And not be Aisha, Reiha or Shunran#
Touka: That's the difficult part... #Touka looks like she can be a decent cook at least#
Sheren: Is that so? I believe it's easy, you know? #Someone's about to be stabbed by Karin...#
Touka: Eh?
Sheren: After all, there's plenty of top grade chefs in this capital.
Touka: Top grade chefs... you say? Umm. #Karin, Ruru, Shion, Nagi, Sei, Shuuran... Sai, Toshi and Renfa?#
Sheren: Ruru, Shuuran and even Karin! If you ask them to train you, Touka, I'm sure you'll become a top grade chef yourself!
Touka: T, train?! #Or, best option, ask Kazuto himself or train with him#
Sheren: Yes. If you're doing it anyway, might as well make an ultimate dish and surprise Kazuto.
Touka: Ultimate?! ...I'd even settle for supreme...
Sheren: Those are not so different. Anyway, let's go, Touka! #I still think Ashe's "together with Kazuto" is a better option#
Touka: Ah?! Awawawawa, Sheren-san, don't pull!
Sheren: And there you have it... How about you help Touka out?
Karin: I should teach Touka? I don't feel too motivated to... #Shuri and Hinari would be fine too#
Sheren: Oh, why?
Karin: No real reason. #Kazuto again?#
Sheren: Hmmmmm.
Karin: What? #Tsundere#
Sheren: Nothing... I was just wondering if you couldn't bear Touka captivating Kazuto.
Karin: I, I'm not thinking that!
Sheren: Then, why don't you teach her? #Good that unlike Gi route, someone can stand up to Karin#
Karin: Kuh...
Touka: U, umm, Karin-san. You don't need to force yourself to.
Karin: If I refuse after Sheren said all that, it'll damage my reputation... fine. I'll teach you.
Touka: Eh? Really?!
Karin: However!
Touka: Hiyaa?!
Karin: Since we're doing this, our goal is the ultimate dish! Got it, Touka?!
Touka: Yes!
Sheren: Fufu, as expected of Karin! Overlord of the continent!
Karin: ...Kuh, this damned entertainment-seeker!
Sheren: Say all you want. Entertainment is justice!
Karin: I'll have my revenge someday, so prepare yourself...
Sheren: Anytime you want.
Karin: ...Ruru! Prepare the kitchen!
Ruru: Ah, okay!
Sheren: And, prepare some booze, Ruru-chan.
Ruru: Eh?! B, booze?
Sheren: Right, right. A really fun show is about to begin, so I will need booze to watch it with.
Ruru: I, I see... What should I do, Karin-sama?
Karin: Sure, prepare it... best booze we have with plenty of lethal poison that will instantly knock her out!
Sheren: What a cruel joke. Ruru-chan, please bring the best booze, but without any poison in it.
Ruru: Sigh...
Karin: Well then, Sou Moutoku's cooking lesson is starting now. Are you ready, Touka?
Touka: Yes! I'll be in your care, Sensei! #Oh, this is getting fun#
Karin: That's the spirit! Well then, let's prepare the ingredients first. Ruru.
Ruru: Yes! Those are our today's ingredients!
Touka: Ooh! Look at this amount!
Ruru: We've gathered the best ingredients from all around the country. First of all, the meat is high-quality one from Shouhan!
Karin: Shouhan beef is fed with grass mixed with raochuu, so the meat is soft and marbled. It's a best meat, good for both boiling and roasting.
Touka: I see. Shouhan beef, Shouhan beef... [memo, memo]. #Why are you using high-grade ingredients to teach cooking?#
Karin: ...Did you learn that word from Shunran?
Touka: Eh?
Karin: I'm talking about memo.
Touka: Ah, umm... I've learned about it from Shuri-chan...
Karin: From Shuri? What's going on here...
Sheren: The source of that trend is Shunran. But, she keeps failing at taking a memo... and, strategists realized memo's potential and implemented its use.
Karin: I see...
Touka: After starting to write things down in memos, I don't forget things as often anymore.
Karin: Then, make sure to write down things I teach you today.
Touka: Yes.
Ruru: Well then, let's resume presenting the ingredients! The vegetables were all cultivated in Kyosho and only sprayed with organic pesticides. #There were more details, but there's too many words I don't know#
Touka: Ooh! That kinda sounds awesome.
Ruru: Poultry and pork are all of highest grade as well! Please cook something tasty for the sake of those wonderful ingredients.
Touka: ...?! I, I'll try... #What a waste of ingredients, to use them in novice training#
Karin: Well, let's start out lecture. First, the basis of cooking! #...Fire? Or salt?#
Ruru: Broth and fried rice! #Frying eggs uses none of those#
Touka: Okay!
Ruru: We'll make the poultry broth and use silkie to make it! #Can someone please start an uprising?#
Touka: Silkie! The legendary silkie that is said to make you immortal! #I've watched Chuuka Ichiban, I know how valuable that thing is#
Ruru: Right! That silkie! It won't make you immortal, but it'll result in a good broth!
Touka: Okay! Silkie-makes-a-good-broth... I wrote it down! #Even rulers should only use that stuff for banquets#
Ruru: Okay, let's move on then!
Ruru: After seasoning silkie with salt from Santou, you take silkie egg and make an egg broth!
Touka: Egg broth! Sounds delicious!
Karin: It doesn't just sound delicious, you're making it, you know? ...Did you memorize the process?
Touka: Perfectly!
Karin: Then, let's start the next lesson.
Touka: Yes!
Karin: We've prepared the finest grade ingredients, but when it comes to the most important part of fried rice... what do you think it is?
Touka: The skill of its cook!
Karin: Not quite...
Touka: Eh?!
Karin: The most important part of cooking fried rice is fire!
Touka: Fire? But, how do you adjust that...
Karin: Normally, you need to adjust the amount of firewood... but we have a powerful ally. I'm talking about this!
Karin: Mao-style Thermal Power Booster, Konron!
Touka: Konron?!
Sheren: Now that's some weird item... what's that?
Karin: It's constantly sending a specific amount of wind to the fire, making adjusting flames simple. Kazuto explained the basic principle behind it and Mao made it, apparently.
Sheren: Heeh... #So Kazuto teaches some useful things too...#
Karin: With this, no matter how strong the flames are, you can easily maintain them.
Touka: That's awesome! That's awesome, Karin-san! #Also not something you give to a novice. She won't learn this way#
Karin: But of course. Okay, let's start preparations... Touka, are you ready?
Touka: Yes, Sensei!
Karin: A good reply... okay, take your spot!
Touka: Okay!
Karin: First of all, broth, since it takes time!
Karin: Put the pot with poultry broth on Konron and start the fire! Be careful, since you can ruin a broth if the fire is too strong!
Touka: Okay!
Karin: You can adjust the flames by turning the knob on Konron... look, it's boiling! Turn the knob right away to weaken the flames!
Touka: Awawa, y, yes!
Karin: Keep watch of the flames, while you prepare fried rice meanwhile. A skilled woman would use that boiling time to prepare it quickly! Okay, take the knife.
Touka: Okay! ...Wow, this knife looks really sharp...
Karin: It's a knife sharpened by the best sharpener of Gi, he's also the one that sharpens weapons for Shunran and the rest. It can easily cut your finger to the bone, so be careful with it.
Touka: Ugh...
Karin: Don't hold it so fearfully! Know that cowardice at times like this tend to backfire. Hold it confidently! Straighten your back!
Touka: Okay!
Karin: Straighten your back, but you don't have to stick out your chest!
Touka: Eh, I'm not exactly sticking it out.
Karin: Eh? Ah, I, I see... #What was that about not caring about the size?#
Sheren: Pff! Ahahahaha. That was good! You're the best, Karin.
Karin: Kuh... you drunkard, stop laughing! #Nice to see this side of Karin#
Sheren: Hihihi! This is hilarious! Kuhuhu, ahahaha.
Karin: Tsk... ignore the drunkard, ignore her!
Sheren: Oh, no. Don't ignore me.
Karin: Shut up! If you don't want to get beheaded, shut up and drink your booze silently there, you drunkard!
Sheren: Yes, yes, I know... puhu!
Karin: Y, you laughed again...!
Touka: Wow...
Ruru: Wha, Touka-sama! Stop watching in daze! The boiling water is about to pour out, you know?!
Touka: Hiya?! O, oh no, I need to lower the flame!
Karin: Right. You need a wide field of vision to cook. You can't achieve the best result if you focus on just one thing. Cooking rules apply to strategy and government too.
Touka: Okay!
Karin: Good... drunkard over there, remember that well too.
Sheren: Ah, I don't need to. Meirin and the rest will take care of it for me.
Karin: What a slobbish king... #She retired though...#
Sheren: A perfect king won't let their subordinates grow. #She's right. That's Karin's biggest problem#
Karin: Oh. Is that a criticism against me? #Yes. Train people and stop expecting perfection from them#
Sheren: I wonder? #Go and Shoku have better officers than Gi#
Karin: Fufufu... #Yeah, Fuu is the only genius strategist in Gi#
Sheren: Fufufu...
Ruru: (Ugh... this tension is the air... it's tough...) #Look at Ruru. She's nice, but not an outstanding officer#
Touka: Done! Karin-san, I've finished preparing the ingredients! Next! What should I do next?
Karin: Is broth ready?
Touka: Yes! And I made sure to extinguish the flames too.
Karin: Good. Then, take the broth pot down from Konron and heat up the stir-frying pot instead.
Touka: Eh? Heat up... I just need to put it on top of Konron?
Karin: That's right... didn't I say it? Flames are the lifeline of fried rice. Heat up the pot to the point that drops of water would instantly evaporate.
Touka: Heat up... umm, here we go...!
Sheren: Huge! Hey, Touka... can you even shake that giant pot?
Touka: It's okay! It's a bit heavy, but no big deal!
Sheren: But you're going to be shaking it with one hand, you know? Will you be okay?
Touka: Yes! I'll do my best! #Touka would probably make any reasonable teacher happy#
Karin: Well, it's lighter than her family's heirloom, so she should be okay...
Sheren: I wonder about that...
Karin: Do I know? I just made an assumption... We won't know unless she tries, so let her try.
Sheren: Well, that's true... Touka, just make sure you don't get burns. #Now that's nice of her. I like this trio's relationship#
Touka: Yes!
Touka: Ah... I've heated up the pot! #Unlike the usual blind loyalty, they're just friends#
Karin: Good. Then, put plenty of oil next and then add ingredients. #Oh yeah, right, Chinese cooking involves a lot of oil#
Touka: Okay!
Karin: Ah, hey! Don't put it all together, start with the root vegetables, since they are hard to fry.
Touka: Okay!
Karin: Don't stop the pot! Keep shaking it so the ingredients get evenly fried!
Touka: Okay!
Karin: When root vegetables change color, it's a sign they're getting the heat. Add meat and shrimps next and stir-fry them.
Touka: Got it! Eei! Eei! Eei!
Karin: How is it, are the ingredients getting heated? #Also, this is a nice bgm. And a very rare one#
Touka: Umm... Ruru-chan, how does it seem?
Ruru: Right. Almost there... ingredients' color and transparency... rely on things like that to find out.
Touka: Yeah! I'll try!
Touka: Eei! Eei! Eei!
Touka: Ah, whew... Eei! Eei!
Karin: So? Touka, do you think they're fried enough yet?
Touka: Umm... yeah! I believe it's okay!
Karin: Good. And now add the rice!
Touka: Okay!
Karin: You can use cold rice and mix it with eggs beforehand.
Touka: Eeh?! Please say those things sooner!
Ruru: It's okay! Because I prepared it already!
Touka: Whew, Ruru-chan, thank you...
Karin: You can thank her later! It's battle against the time now!
Touka: Y, yes!
Karin: Add the rice mixed with eggs!
Touka: Adding!
Karin: And now shake the pot! Shake it! Shake it! #I know what else you can shake to seduce Kazuto#
Touka: Shaking! Shaking! Shaking! #It seems Touka is actually pretty strong#
Karin: Shake it! Shake it! Shake it! #She does know how to use a sword too, after all#
Touka: Shaking! Shaking! Sha... ah! The rice is pattering! #She's using a heavy wok and still has stamina to talk normally#
Karin: Okay! Check its condition by looking at the rice color! If it's getting transparent, it's getting properly cooked!
Touka: Ah, it's transparent! Amazing! Rice is properly getting transparent!
Karin: It's done then! Serve it to the plate right away!
Ruru: Plates are ready here! Touka-sama, over here!
Touka: Yeah! Eeei!
Touka: I... it's done. #But she failed. Though it's Karin's mistake#
Karin: Next! Prepare the broth!
Touka: Hii?! Right! Broth!
Ruru: It's over here!
Touka: Add the melted egg, pour the broth... it's done!
Sheren: Oh! Broth and fried rice smell nice... almost like in one of those cooking stalls.
Karin: Hmm... well, I'll give appearance a passing score at least. #Karin and Ruru look adorable in this CG#
Touka: I'm so glad. #Yup. You've proved you're not Aisha#
Ruru: T, Touka-sama, it's too early to get satisfied yet.
Touka: Au, right. Taste is what matters the most in cooking... hmm... I wonder. Did it turn out tasty?
Karin: This fried rice and broth were made with exceptional ingredients under instructions of me and Ruru... of course it'll taste good.
Touka: I hope so... Sheren-san!
Sheren: Puh?! W, what?
Touka: Please try tasting it!
Sheren: ............Eeh. #Sheren knows what usually happens here#
Karin: Hey. At least cooperate this much, after turning us into a spectacle for your drinking.
Sheren: .................No.
Karin: ...I see... Ruru, call Meirin, Sai and Renfa. #Sai?#
Sheren: I, I hate people that don't understand jokes!
Karin: If you don't want those three scolding you, cooperate... well, try tasting it.
Sheren: Ugh... this is giving me a cold sweat, you know?
Touka: I, it's okay! I'm sure it's delicious! It won't make you collapse, your stomach hurt or you sleepwalk and assault men in the town at night!
Sheren: Hey... don't say something this scary when I'm about to eat.
Karin: Stop buying time and eat already.
Sheren: Bah... fine...
Sheren: Nom...
Touka: Uu... I'm nervous...
Karin: So? Quite good, right?
Sheren: ...Ugh!
Touka: Eeh?! Was it not tasty after all?! Did it hurt your stomach?! Is it making you blow bubbles?! Is it making you want to dance naked?!
Sheren: ...Ugh!
Karin: Fufu, isn't she just pretending as always, trying to scare us?
Ruru: Right. At times like this "ugh" usually means "ugh, so delicious!". #So they're aware of that cliche event... but...#
Touka: Is that so? I'm glad! So it was delicious after all!
Sheren: Ueeeee!!
Three: Eeeeh?!
Sheren: Tastes... bad! I can't feel the taste, what's going on?
Touka: No way... #It's okay, it's not your fault#
Karin: That's impossible... nom...
Ruru: Nom...
Karin: ...
Ruru: ...
Karin: Ugh...
Ruru: It has no taste...
Touka: Uu... so I have no talent for cooking after all... #A lot of "bad cook" characters give up after one fail#
Ruru: ...Ah! We forgot to add salt! #You did add it to the broth though#
Karin: I see. So that's the cause. #But yeah, localize the problem and fix it#
Touka: Aaaah! And here I thought it went well!
Sheren: Come to think of it, someone never gave instructions to add salt... #Yup, someone was too busy complaining about a drunkard#
Karin: ...?!
Karin: Y... you should realize it now, Touka! #Sore loser...#
Touka: Eh?
Karin: The key part of cooking! It's salt! Seasoning! To teach you of its importance, I didn't tell you to add salt on purpose!
Touka: I, is that so?! #At least Touka feels better now#
Sheren: Now that was a stretch... #But it worked. Smooth excuse#
Karin: Shut up! ...Touka!
Touka: Yes!
Karin: Engrave this result into your memory, and let's make it again, from the scratch! I'll turn you into the first grade fried rice expert today!
Touka: Y, yeah! I'll do my best!
Karin: That's the spirit! Ruru, make preparations! #But yeah, giving up after one failed attempt is just stupid#
Ruru: O, okay!
Karin: Do you understand, Touka? You have to become the King of Fried Rice!
Touka: Yes! I will become the Fried Rice King! #Is that a One Piece parody? Or just Jump?#
Karin: Then, let's start with the basic procedures!
Touka: Yes!
Sheren: Fufu... well, do your best, maidens.

How might digital technology contribute to fostering inclusion in primary education? - Duration: 4:37.
I will be discussing how digital
technology contributes to fostering
inclusion in early years foundation
stage and key stage 1. Discrimination may
affect children learning English as an
additional language, gender or children
with a disability or additional
educational need. Schools have duties
under the equality act 2010, to 'make
reasonable adjustments to make sure
disabled students are not discriminated
against.' (DfE, 2016) Integration is where the child
in the classroom but isn't involved in
the same activity, whereas the child that is
included will be involved in the same
activity and can join in. This is
inclusion and is what teachers should be
working towards to ensure children are
valued and not discriminated against.
Teachers who include all will provide
children with the same opportunity as
the other children to reach their full
potential. As a requirement of teaching
standard five teachers must 'adapt
teaching to respond to the strengths and
needs of all pupils.' (DfE, 2011) Digital technology
can make a significant contribution to
enable children with additional
education needs to learn. The technology
enhanced learning research program
states 'to be without digital technology is
to be marginalised.' (TEL, 2011) Inclusive technology
provides schools with software devices
and communication aids for children with
additional educational needs. Tablets
apply an endless quantity of
applications to support children, Rhys
discusses how 'Apps provide visual magic...
they open up whole new interactive
sensory experiences for pupils. (Rhys, 2013)
Specialised equipment such as eye gaze and
assertive technology can support
children who have a physical sensory or
learning difficulty. The computing
national curriculum states 'lessons should be
planned to ensure that there are no
barriers to every pupil achieving.' (DfE, 2014) This
technology therefore helps to reduce
barriers in learning and helps to
support each child's ability to become
successful learners. Technology can be
integrated into the classroom to assist
learning for many different learners.
Visual learners process information and
benefit from seeing videos, diagrams,
graphs, maps and charts. Video-sharing
sites such as YouTube provides teachers
with the opportunity to show children
educational videos to help them
understand complex concepts visually.
The use of videos for visual learners is
supported by The Study Gurus who state
that 'videos are great resources for
visual learners.' (The Study Gurus, 2016) Another program is
Glogster. This is a program children can
use to make interactive multimedia posters
to visually collect and display data and
information. This can help students with
fine motor skill difficulty. Using google can
help children some applications and
street view can help to visually see
them. Another resource is an online
called Prezi, which children can use to
create visual presentations
independently. Kinaesthetic learners
benefit from carrying out physical
activities to process information. Software
such as interactive whiteboards or
Inspiration allows children to
manipulate objects around the screen to
create a map of information. Websites
such as Sporcle allow children to use
their keyboard to press buttons to
answer quizzes online. Children can
therefore use their fine motor skills
and physically move rather than just
listen to or view information. Expression
software such as Glogster as well as
being visual allows children to arrange
boxes and images rather than just have
them pre-arranged. Auditory learners
benefit from listening to information to
learn. Technology such as audio books
helps learners to enjoy stories and
information books.
This is especially helpful for students
who have difficulty reading such as
dyslexic partially or blind children.
Audacity is an easy-to-use audio editor,
which allows children to record and edit
audio. Programs such as ReadPlease allow
children to highlight a piece of text
and change it to speech that is read out.
Some children find it easier to work
with music playing. A social experiment
called Project Playlist, is a program
that makes it easy for auditory learners
to access free music to play while
learning. There are many more programs that
can support children learning visually
kinetically and auditory. Students
learning English as an additional language
can also benefit from technology. Becta
states that 'ICT is particularly
effective in providing pictorial support
for learning basic vocabulary.' (Becta, 2005) Computers
can provide very types of simulation
that can be used for collaborative
learning activities. Learning of concepts
can be supported with animation, 3D
images, text and sound to encourage
children with more language knowledge.
Translation engines and eBooks can also
help children's language development. Rowe
states 'iPads can help support children
with creating eBooks using both their native
language and English.' (Rowe, 2016) Using a child's
native language is supported by Cummins
who believes 'children learn a new
language more effectively when they
continue to use and develop their
heritage language.' (Cummins, 2000) I have experience
using technology including use of
whiteboards, laptops, Beebots and iPads.
Most of the time these were effective
editions however Bateman states '47%
of students claim teachers
need more training.' (Bateman, 2011) Technology is an
invaluable part of the future of
children's learning.
