There are plenty of times we have to do things we don't like doing.
Nobody likes to do things they don't like.
Most people don't know how to say no, therefore they end up doing things they don't like anyway.
Let's discuss how to say no without upsetting anybody.
Usually we think saying no is rude.
Actually saying yes when feel no is rather rude.
If you say yes to everything, you will end up living a life dedicated for others.
If you want your own life, you need learn how to say no.
When you say no, try to think of a good explanation.
Say your boss is giving you too much work.
If you think you got too much you can handle, it's better to communicate this.
If you clearly explain why you can't do by illustrating what you actually can do, your boss will get a clear idea.
Propose an alternative.
If someone wants to take you on a holiday to a destination you don't like.
Without saying yes, you can always sujjest an alternative destination and your friend might agree to it.
Don't say no straight away.
You can always ask for time to think about it.
Always remember, saying no doesn't make you weak or rude.
If you don't like what you doing, you won't be productive as much anyway.
So the right thing to do is "not" do thing you don't want to do.

eLodgment changes - Part 1 Adding parties to the lodgment and system generated File Title - Duration: 6:16.
Hi my name is Bree and I'm here today to
demonstrate the exciting new changes to
the Federal Court of Australia's eLodgment system. You will have already read
through a summary of the eLodgment
changes on our website, however by
watching this two-part series of
demonstrations you will see the benefits
of filing Corporations and Bankruptcy
documents electronically with the
Federal Court of Australia in action.
Part 1 of this demonstration will cover
changes to adding parties to the
lodgment and the automatic generation of
a file title for new lodgments.
Let's begin. Here is a sample lodgment;
it shows the Action as Bankruptcy and
the Case type as Sequestration. It also
shows the Originating Application as the Creditors Petition Form B6.
These are all criteria for auto
acceptance eligibility in the area of Bankruptcy.
Let's firstly cover the changes to
adding parties to a lodgment.
If your lodgment is eligible for auto
acceptance you will now see a filtered
list of matter role types based on the
Action selection earlier. So in our
example; Our Action is Bankruptcy and
our filtered list of matter role types will
be Applicant; Legal Representative for
the Applicant; Legal Representative for the
Respondent and Respondent.
The system now requires the minimum of one
Applicant/Plaintiff and One Respondent/
Defendant Party to be added to the
lodgement before progressing to the next step.
So you'll see here in my sample
lodgement I have already added my
Applicant and if I try and complete my
Parties by choosing the Parties Complete
button, I will now receive a warning asking
me for at least one Applicant/Plaintiff
and one Respondent/Defendant litigant
in order to continue. I will now add my
Respondent Party to this lodgement.
The system will use the Applicant and
Respondent Parties with the sequence of
1, to create the file title. Where there
is more than one Applicant or Respondent,
the system will automatically insert
text ANOR or ORS into the file title.
You will see here on the
left-hand side we have now provided the
ability for users to sequence their parties
accordingly. I will now demonstrate how
this functionality works.
You can see I have full edit capability
over here to change the sequence number as required. I apply my matter role type and
once I have finished adding all of my Parties for this lodgment I can now
choose my Parties Complete button and
move to the next stage. I am now asked to
select the contact and now you can see
the automatic system generated file title for this lodgment; DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF TAXATION V
BRIAN NEWTON & ANOR so
the system is taken Sarah Newton as a Second Respondent and automatically
inserted the text ANOR reflecting that
there's multiple Respondent parties.
Now let's cover the changes to the file
title area. If you are ever unhappy with
the file title that the system has
generated or have made a spelling error
when adding Parties to the lodgment
simply go back and edit the Party detail
by using the Edit Parties button up here.
Choose the Edit function against the
Party you wish to edit and update the
change as required and save your changes.
The system then asks you to complete your
Parties once you verify that they are
correct and the system then again will
present the file title for your review.
Once you are happy with the file title
simply accept the accept button here on
the right-hand side. If you ever choose
the Reject button the file title will
remove the lodgment from auto
acceptance eligibility and place the
lodgment in an internal queue for registry to process.
Following automatic acceptance
of this lodgment the stamping process
will display the file number and file
title on the Notice of Filing and
Listing cover page on your originating
document. So it is important to ensure
that the sequencing applied to each Party is correct so that the file title
is reflected correctly on your documents.
Once I click the Accept button I am able
to progress to the next stage.

and applied the number one as our sequence.
We have accepted the system-generated File Title.
These are all criteria for automatic acceptance eligibility in the area of Corporations.
We now have the ability to select our preferred hearing date.
Let's cover the changes to the hearing date area:
You now have the ability to view available hearing dates within an appropriate
window and then select your preference.
The system automatically displays the available hearing dates within a 4-6 week window
unless you have selected a date outside the window
using the request hearing on a particular date option earlier in the lodgment process.
You can view the dates that are available here on the left hand side.
So in our sample lodgment we have dates available from 7th February right through to the 3rd of March.
If you need to list multiple matters together, you can now view the capacity for each sitting
on the right hand side under the 'Files Allocated' column.
You can see how many files have been allocated to each sitting
and can now start to group your matters on a particular day
to better manage when you attend court.
So you can see here that there are no files allocated to any of our sittings
between the 7th February right through to the 3rd March.
You must select a hearing date preference in order to continue through the lodgment process.
So for our sample lodgment I'm going to select the 17th February 2017.
Once you have selected your preference and pressed the 'Continue' button
your hearing date preference will be displayed in the 'Hearing Date' area for you to review.
You can edit your selected preference at any stage
by selecting the 'Edit' button prior to finalising your lodgment.
Please note, if you have selected a hearing date
but do not finalise your lodgment within a reasonable time
the system may time out
or your allocated spot may be taken by other users
who may have finalised their lodgment ahead of yours.
When you finalise your lodgment the system will create the hearing event.
Your selected listing details will be displayed on the Notice of Filing and Hearing cover sheet
attached to your Originating Application
which I will now demonstrate.
So I've selected my preference, I'm now going to select the 'Continue' button.
I now need to acknowledge that this is the fee that I'm about to pay.
I can select my method of payment; Continue with my credit card; Select the payee
and click 'Continue'.
I don't wish to save this lodgment as a template - so click 'No'.
Now I'm ready to finalise my lodgment.
Now by finalising my lodgment the system is going to automatically accept
this Corporations lodgment.
So now let's cover the automatic acceptance process
so you can see these changes in action.
Finalise my lodgement: I select my credit card that I wish to pay with
and now I receive the message that my documents have been successfully lodged
and to please note the lodgment ID for future reference.
So before I demonstrate how the system has automatically accepted this Corporations lodgment
Firstly understand what auto acceptance is.
Essentially it means that Bankruptcy Creditors Petitions
and Corporations Winding up Applications
will no longer need to be manually processed by
Registry, unless there is an exception
and I will cover some of these exceptions later on in the demonstration.
The types of Documents that will be automatically accepted are:
In the Federal Court our Creditor's petition: Form B6
In Corporations, our Federal Court Originating process: Form 2
and in the Federal Circuit Court, our Creditor's petition - Form B6
and any document types that are already candidates for automatic acceptance that are filed together
with the originating document types I have just mentioned
for example, Affidavits.
You can track the status and processing of your lodgment via your lodgment history tab
So if I click the lodgment history tab up here
I'm now presented with all of my queues in which I can track the status of my lodgment.
If I now click the accepted queue
I can see that the lodgment we just finalised and submitted to the Court
has been displayed at the top of the list - VID 1/2017
and our file title that was automatically generated by the system which we accepted
was DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF TAXATION V CATALOGUE SOLUTIONS
In the Victorian Registry and it was our Corporations action.
I can view my lodgment by clicking the 'View' button
and I can now access my stamped documents by clicking on the hyperlink here.
Click 'Open'.
I am presented with our Notice of Filing and Hearing cover page attached to my originating application.
I can see the file number; I can see the file title and I can also see the hearing date
that I selected of 17th of February 2017 at 9:30am our listing has been created for First Directions.
You would have also received an email notification containing your stamped documents as per current functionality.
You will have noticed that at no stage was Registry review required for these types of applications.
I mentioned earlier that there are situations where your application may fail to be automatically
accepted by the system.
When this happens the lodgment will be queued as per current functionality for manual review
and processing by Registry.
Some scenarios where this will occur are:
If you have selected a document option, for example suppression, urgent, or confidentiality against
any of your uploaded document types
The hearing date nominated was outside the 4-6 week available window
The file title that was generated by the system was rejected. Or,
you uploaded a supporting document type that requires a listing together with your originating application.
For example an interlocutory application. Or,
if you have selected Save and Complete later during the lodgment process, or if
the lodgment failed to stamp correctly.
These are all scenarios where your lodgment may not be automatically accepted by the system
and will be queued for manual review and processing by Registry.
Again remember you can always track the status and progress of your lodgment by monitoring
your lodgment history queues up here.

Exercise Kamoshika Wrath 17-1 - Duration: 2:01.
Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 traveled to the mountains of Haramura, Japan, to conduct
scenario-based training including establishing a forward operating base with air ground support
capabilities during Exercise Kamoshika Wrath 17-1.
"Our main focus is aviation ground support and so being out here at Kamoshika Wrath enables
us to do things that we normally wouldn't have the opportunity to do on Marine Corps
Air Station Iwakuni and so allowing us to come up here and partnering with the Japanese
Ground Self-Defense Force enables us to use Haramura.
I'll tell you it's really incredible, it's really a great benefit to the Marines
and their ability to train for the mission."
Marines were able to construct an expeditionary landing zone, defensive positions in the heavy
equipment dig site and an expeditionary water purification center.
"We're happy to be here you know.
Being in Japan has it's ups and downs and I'd say probably the biggest strength that
we have on us is training areas.
So when were out here it's strictly business, it's strictly training.
We take every minute, every second, every day as a learning experience and try to make
the best of it because we don't get these opportunities all the time.
When were out here like I said the focus is training and getting better."
Each Marine had the opportunity to enhance their individual skill sets in a field environment.
"Seeing how the other MOS within our squadron work together to complete a mission, it's
pretty interesting how we all just come together and we make it happen.
It's really cool to see that happen."
Each company within MWSS 171 completed squadron training as well as mission specific tasks for their MOS.
