So let's do top 10 and comic book Easter eggs number 10 the intro to the electric gang with
Harrison wells narrating his novel I love that he keeps trying to sell people on this
even when Gypsy had up later in the episode during the trial by combat.
He was trying to sell her on it while they were waiting for the battle to start the big
thing with him in this episode is all about doing something that matters that was kind
of the theme across the entire episode for all the characters making sure that their
life had meeting in that's why HR came to this earth.
So number nine that led Gypsy to come after him as a collector.
So we get all this.
Loren Backstory on earth.
19 hopefully will get to see it, really soon because she let us know that she's not surprised
by speedsters.
She's able to cut them off from the speed force using her vibe powers so that means
that Cisco can do it to but because is not as good.
He hasn't learned about all those things yet the reason she explains that she came for
HR is because he broke their most sacred law interdimensional travel because 25 years ago
and their history another earth invaded there's in they set up his travel ban she's part of
the task force the tracks those people doubt that break the law and it basically a death
sentence and now she has to say that he's dead.
So he can never go home, but number eight.
You can kind of see what they're setting up for HR's character so they have that Lego
set of viruses dead and they know that they see HR in the future.
On the rooftop with that gun the like do we send them back to we stop him from going back
we know that HR is destined to show up.
Like Cisco said at the end of the episode, so what I think that they might be doing is
setting us up to really care for HR because it's kind of a douche bag your definitely
made to hate him when he first shows up he is so annoying.
So by the end of the season I think the idea is to make you love him for him to do something
that gives his life.
Meaning and an ongoing the rug right out from under us kill him in a bowel with savitar
or someone else and that'll give Tom Cavanagh a reason to play another character in season
four.
I just don't think that HR is going to be here next season so there has to be a reason
for him to go away and he can't go back to earth.

So right now he's at the top of the list of people who might die the end of the season
because I think we can all agree that Iris is probably not can a dive will find a way
to save her, and it has to do with Wally number seven Barry and Wally teaming up and showing
off.
New flash powers to take down the electric gang at the beginning of the episode, so these
are like vibrate around each other.
So the guns can get a lock on them take them down they'll be doing more of that because
they tease that Barry is going to be training at the end of the episode to get faster and
faster the whole idea is that he's getting way faster in a much faster rate that will
be fast enough to help Barry save Iris from savitar because so far varies been thinking
about this in a very singular way.
I have to be fast enough to save Iris, but now we have to flashes and that doesn't even
include Jay Garrick or Jesse quick or any of the other speedsters of the multi-verse
Barry had the speech in the episode where he talked to Cisco about getting through the
tough times he's as I lean on you guys.
You guys keep me going in the dark times.
So he just learning to rely on the rest of team flash now he's going to rely on Wally
to help him out with his savitar problem and really nice small Ville Easter egg you guys
may have noticed the cheerleaders that Wally rescued that he was taken all the selfies
with look exactly like the cheerleaders from small Ville such as a whole bunch of Wally
stuff they're building out in the back half of the season there's rumors that he might
just store on legends of tomorrow, but what I'm really hoping is is they tease some of
the powers that Wally develops that Barry does not have every member of the flash family
learns to use the speed force in slightly different ways.
So they have slightly different abilities one of the big ones, he develops in the comics
is sort of like Superman's Sunburst ability just a giant burst of electrical speed force
energy, so number six the other big thing hereto that I love is the Julian is on the
team.
He's like this cold mathematician was like the get shit done person so that they're trying
to figure this played out.
He's like look let's is mathematics you need to get this fast by this time or else your
knocking to be able to save her, he's the one that had the idea to create the Lego set
he's also striving for meaning.
There's so much left for his character.
The season.
I feel like he still tied to the philosopher's stone there has to be a reason for savitar
to come back to our earth with his number ways that could go down.
I have a feeling you'll have something to do with Dr. alchemy.
So right now Julie is just doing what everyone else is trying to do make his life have meaning
learn to be on the team, but he's one of the new guys we just of pipes up at the really
awkward moments really funny responses like oh well.
She must've been having an off day otherwise.
Cisco would totally died number five is Iris distracting joke by teasing the tornado twins
in the comics she and Barry have two children there twins they themselves have speed powers,
but their son Don Allen has a son named Bart Allen.
So he's the one that comes back from the future to fight with team flash during the Mark Wade
era.
The comics that's when Wally West was the main version of the flash but she takes it
right back in an instant says.
Do you think that Barry is a dog person or Person.
So was like a really brief tease that they might have children in the future, so who
knows if will ever do that on the TV show I'm assuming.
Not because if we do see their children if we did see Bart Allen on the show.
It would probably be in a flash forward or like in the comics.
Bart would show up from the future and present day and they would really know where he came
from Tillie explained himself but I totally loved Iris and Wally teaming up brother sister
crime-fighting team just like during flash point.
Hopefully they'll do that again during the season.
They have a nice energy together so there scenes were a lot of fun.
But that whole Iris storyline was really just to set up that payoff at the end were she's
telling Barry how she's worried that she's going to be like her mother should just go
away and she won't have left any kind of mark, so Barry has to calm her down, so was a great
payoff.
It was a great moment but you know most of those Iris scenes felt a little out of pace
with the Cisco versus Gypsy storyline, but it's all about doing something meaningful
with your life.
So there's thematic consistency across the episode number four was Cisco's challenge
to Gypsy trial by combat very timely game of thrones reference mixed with the Lord of
the rings reference come and claim him.
So he was just throwing them left and right in the funny thing is is that he learned the
Gypsy also has her own references to all spinal tap that.
But as she's sucking him through the portal to the other Earth's but the training montage
was great the whole energy with all the characters was so much better in this episode.
Cisco wasn't all mopey Julian was funny he had really nice comedic timing with Caitlin
work on your interpersonal skills, so the energy in the group is so much better in the
back half of the season I'm so much happier with what's going on now number three was
vibe versus Gypsy multi-verse battle.
So there were three different nurse that they went to the
first one they went to was earth two Cisco recognizes these like holy crap, this is earth
two that kind of teased up that were going to be seeing Earth to again really quickly
with the gorilla city episode that's two-part.
So will see Jesse quick again real soon.
The next or they go to is Supergirl's earth, earth 38 the ring Grants office you see Ms.
test mocker like oh my God.
Somebody call Supergirl she must be off helping somebody else in this last planet looks like
something right out of Star Wars like it's most of far Anakin versus Obi-Wan next to
the llama and almost completely forgot to mention we gotta talk about Cisco in the full
vibe costume for the first time in present day and he refers to himself as vibe for the
very first time you can call me vibe or Cisco or anything else Gypsy was just so much fun
in this episode.
So hands down Gypsy is one of my favorite new characters.
You can definitely expect her to come back sometime maybe even before the end of the
season.
Just in the way that they left things number two is action.
The mystery speedster from earth.
19 that she tease like oh you're a speedster like she's totally seen a bunch before that's
the accelerated man that everybody's been asking about for the past couple of months
so I think the idea is that we'll see him sometime in the next couple weeks want to
wait too long, but the flash is going on break after next week's episode, so that the two-part
gorilla city episode won't be for three weeks instead of just two weeks.
So is gonna be a while but we'll see them pretty soon.
He actually came from the most diversity grant Morrison comic, so he does have like a really
big Backstory.
So the TV show is free to do whatever they want to with them, but a lot of people were
wondering if it might be Eddie Thawne because he just showed up behind the scene, but the
episode there filming with him is like episode 18.
So it's not anywhere near the gorilla city episode whatever Eddie's doing he's probably
not going to be the accelerated man.
Although would be cool for him to be a speedster in the future season.
The number one thing of course is Barry teasing that Wally is the key to defeating savitar
there's a number of different ways they could take this because comic book Ginger Wally
in the comics eventually became the fastest version of the flash.
He even has white lightning in the rebirth comics right now like savitar has, so they
could take it that direction, but because Barry is always here in this moment.
I feel like it will be a two on one thing where he distracts savitar and Wally runs
in to save Iris is supposed to Barry running up and snatching her out of his claws because
the problem with making Wally faster than savitar is that the show would be over if
Wally became that powerful if Barry became that powerful than their be nobody to challenge
them there be no drama anymore, so whatever the solution to defeating savitar, is this
season there still a couple ways to defeat him, it won't leave them being all powerful.
So even though eventually Barry will probably join the speed force become the God of speed
himself that's like the distant future of the show you can let me know in the comments
how do you think that Barry is going to use Wally to help save Iris if you like it's going
to be you know him distracting savitar while Wally runs into snatcher there still number
ways they could do that.
So like I said there's a new episode next week the week after that the flash goes on

Electric vehicles and plug-ins are
increasingly popular way to go green and
save on fuel. We put four models to the
test for safety. The two all electrics,
Tesla Model S and BMW i3, fell short
of our criteria for safety awards.
In contrast, the two plug-ins, Chevrolet Volt
and Toyota Prius Prime, earn our TOP SAFETY
PICK+ designation. To earn the 2017 TOP
SAFETY PICK+ award, a vehicle must earn
good ratings in all five of our
crashworthiness evaluations - the small
overlap front, the moderate overlap front,
the side, the roof strength and head
restraints evaluations - plus it must be
available with an advanced or superior
front crash prevention system and
acceptable- or good-rated headlights.
The Tesla Model S experienced problems in the
small overlap front crash test.
The safety belt allowed the dummy's torso to move
too far forward, and its head hit the
steering wheel hard through the airbag.
Tesla plans to make changes to the
seat belt to improve protection in small
overlap front crashes. When those changes are
in place, we'll run another test to find
out how well they've done.
The most powerful version of the Model S has
another problem. The P100D is rated
acceptable for roof strength, which is
important in rollover crashes. The rating
is based on how much weight the roof can
support. Even though all Model S cars
have the same roof structure, the P100D
weighs more so it only earns an acceptable rating.
The BMW i3 is rated
good in the small overlap front crash test.
However, it misses the TOP SAFETY
PICK+, because it's only rated acceptable
in our rear crash evaluation of the
seats and head restraints.
In contrast, the Toyota Prius Prime and the Chevrolet
Volt earn a TOP SAFETY PICK+.
The Prius Prime has an edge in that
state-of-the-art safety is standard equipment.
No need to check a box on the options
list to get a top-rated front crash
prevention system or decent headlights.
There's no reason the most efficient
vehicles can't be among the safest.
We hope that BMW and Tesla continue to
refine the designs of their electric
models to maximize safety.

Korea becomes less popular among Chinese tour groups during Lunar New Year Holiday - Duration: 0:50.
Chinese tour groups visiting Korea over the Lunar New Year Holiday was nearly half that
of last year.
According to travel agencies, the number of tour groups from China during the holiday
season was down 20 to 50 percent compared to 2016.
The resort island of Jeju expects a 17 percent decline in the number of Chinese tourists.
The sharp drop is attributed mainly to soured relations between the two nations over Seoul's
decision to deploy the THAAD missile defense system in the peninsula.
Chinese tourists also tend to travel further to warmer countries during long holidays.
Industry insiders say the overall number of tourists from China will remain unchanged
or rise, however, as more individual travelers choose Korea as their destination.

Let's start today with efforts in the United States to improve upon its policy toward North
Korea.
Lawmakers and experts gathered at a Senate hearing on Tuesday to take another look at
Washington's policy, stressing the threat from Pyongyang has grown,... not subsided
in recent years.... and it might be time to go back to drawing board.
Kwon Soa reports.
At this year's first hearing on North Korea at the U.S. Senate's Foreign Relations Committee,...
the general consensus was that Washington's strategy on denuclearizing Pyongyang has not
yielded much success,... and that the threat has only grown.
Republican Senator Bob Corker, who chaired Tuesday's meeting, cited North Korean leader
Kim Jong-un's New Year's speech,... in which he said the North is ready to test-fire an
intercontinental ballistic missile.
Corker believes North Korea is on its way to have the capability to launch an ICBM that
could carry a miniaturized nuclear warhead and would be able to reach the U.S. mainland.
A senior researcher who participated at the hearing criticized America's policy as a "thoroughly
bipartisan failure,... and emphasized that... ...it's time to set aside the illusion of
'engaging' North Korea,... namely aim for dialogue,... to effect nonproliferation.
He proposed a paradigm that should actually work,... calling it 'threat reduction'.
That would require a long-term strategy,... working hand in hand with allies, non-allies,
as well as unilaterally.
He also stressed the importance of military defense, such as the deployment of the THAAD
missile defense system in South Korea, weakening North Korea's military,... as well as more
cooperation from China.
Scott Snyder,... another expert said to counter North Korea,...
...gaps with allies and neighbors of the North have to be narrowed,... stressing comprehensive,
omni-dimensional coordination with South Korea and Japan,... both politically and militarily.
...adding, this especially as its North Korea's strategic goal to break U.S. alliances.
Snyder also suggested a senior envoy on North Korea issue should be appointed who can directly
report to the president.

U.S. strategic military assets will be deployed to the Korean peninsula sometime this month
for the first time since the Trump administration took office.
The U.S. Pacific Command says twelve F-16 fighter jets and two-hundred U.S. military
personnel will be deployed at Osan Air Base,... located some 60 kilometers south of Seoul.
They will be working with the South Korean Air Force for six to nine months to monitor
possible North Korean provocations.
The U.S. Pacific Command has been deploying F-16s to South Korea on a regular basis since
2004 in an effort to maintain stability in the region and to respond to North Korea's
threats.
There are reportedly some 60 F-16s deployed to South Korea.
While North Korea's escalating nuclear threats continue to be a concern for Seoul and Washington,
Lee Sun-jin, the Chairman of South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff, requested that goals
set during the first South Korea-U.S. joint defense cooperation talks in December be implemented
during his telephone talks with his U.S. counterpart General Joseph Dunford.
Seoul and Washington had reaffirmed the commitment of the U.S. to regularly deploy its strategic
assets to South Korea during the first meeting of the Extended Deterrence Strategy and Consultation
Group.
While South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff did not specify on whether its chairman made
the request to deploy U.S. strategic military assets to the country, the issue will be discussed
between the defense chiefs of the two allies.
U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis is set to discuss North Korea's missile programs
and ways to boost South Korea- U.S. alliance with his South Korean counterpart Han Min-koo
in Seoul on Friday.

"Kerato" stands for the cornea and "Conus" stands for cone.
So that means that the cornea mishapes from a regular circular shape to a cone shape.
Think of it as a transition from a basketball to a football.

Three? Okay.Um...
The first word I would use is "halos."
So that kind of means that if I look at something I can't see it clearly no matter what.
And my eye can't really focus on it because what's happening is that light is being distorted.
I don't usually describe it as "halos" but that's what the internet calls it and that's what medical... people call it.
So, I'm gonna... I trust them.
The second word is my own adjective and it's called "popcorn ceiling."
Now, I know you're thinking, "what is a popcorn ceiling?!" Let me tell you!
So, it is this kind of ceiling that exists, The texture of it is raised so it feels like little bumps.
Now, I don't feel bumps on my eye but I kind of feel like there is always this sort of grey... kind of bumpin; out and moving... around everything.
It's kind of like a filter. Okay, third word! Filter!
It feels like a weird filter. It feels like someone put the old filter on everything.
This old, cinematic filter, which is kind of makes the world a little bit darker and more pixelated. So it's not as clear.
That's kind of how I describe it... blurry, not a lot of light and... yeah.
What is the hardest thing to do when blind or visually impaired?
Hm.
The abelist society that we live in.
Now I know that's a broad, broad spectrum and there's a lot that's covered under that.
But I say that because I was born totally sighted.
The hardest part is that I was a kid with 20/20 vision and I remember getting congratulated on that.
As if it's something you can achieve, or you earn, or is better than.
I think that being instilled on me when I was so young really messed me up.
Because it made it harder for me to accept my blindness and some days, it makes it really hard to still do that.
I would say the hardest part is definitely society views blindness, and disability as a whole.
What's the best part about being blind or visually impaired?
There's a lot.There is a LOT! And I'm gonna have to say the community.
ABSOLUTELY the community.
'Cause, no matter what happens to you you have people around you that are here to support you and here to help you, and...
...make you... do YouTube videos when you're too scared to do them.
What question do you get asked most?
Oh, okay. So. I am also hard of hearing which I'll save for another video if you guys want me to?
(tell me that you want me to do another video or I'll not do it ever again.)
So the hardest part about that is that I'm also hard of hearing, so therefore I am a deafblind person.
I think that I get that question, "what does deafblind mean? How are you deafblind?"
"You have some sort of sight, you can see me, and some sort of form of hearing because you can hear some things."
And if you want me to do another video on that... let me know?! I guess. Oh goodness..

Do you have a cane, a guide dog, or neither?
I don't have a cane or a guide dog! Nope!
They're there to help, but right now? I'm okay.

What piece of advice would you give to someone who is losing, is going to lose, or has lost vision?
(I think that's the question, sorry.)

My best piece of advice is that you are not broken, you can live a full, fulfilled life, just as you are.
I know, I was there, I felt totally helpless and I was told I couldn't do anything.
I still get told to this day that I'm never gonna succeed in what I want to do because I can't see very well or I can't hera very well.
And it sucks but, yeah.
You. Are. Enough.
You are gonna be okay.
You're gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. We're all gonna do it.
You are not broken, you are enough.
What piece of advice would you give to someone who is sighted, about interacting with someone who is blind or visually impaired?
Every single person is different.
Your perception of what blindness may be, or visual impairment or low vision,
it may be different than for what it is for that person.
So the best thing you ca n do is be open.
Ask questions.
And... work together.
Because this is all about communication, it's a two way street. S,o ask.
Ask, ask, ASK!
People tell me all the time that they don't feel like they can, they feel like they're always being weird or it's overstepping,
and you kind of know when it's overstepping.There's a difference between...
There's a difference between asking, "how can I get your attention in a way that is most effective?"
And asking something that's maybe not so appropriate.
But we can work together and you can see all the parts of me that are great,
and I can see all the parts of you that are great, whether that is by seeing or without seeing... boom.

This is so weird because I have so many reasons but I can't articulate them. It's really hard to articulate.
So I was diagnosed with both my hearing and my vision decreases, if you will.
I turned to the internet and I desperately tried to find anything I could that...
...made me feel like I wasn't alone.
My entire life shifted, my entire life changed. My identity changed
And... I didn't see myself represented. Anywhere.
I didn't see any stories of someone with a disability like this.
Maybe, just maybe....
Maybe. One person will stumble upon this video and they'll feel less alone.
