Here's the SONY RX10 IV - Duration: 7:23.

[Music]

good morning guys

gonna need this today there are two big announcements coming

so this afternoon the iPhone whatever X, 8 whatever they're gonna call it is going

to be released so I'm gonna watch the keynote on that and then right now actually

Sony in the next 10 minutes I guess are going to do some kind of announcement

for a new camera of course by the time you're watching this you already know

what it is but we're gonna check it out anyway

this guy is gonna give us something new

so right now they're recapping I guess because this has already been announced

but this is the sony RX 0 which a lot of people think it's an action cam and it's

really not quite that it's a step up from an action cam so the whole idea is

that you have this small package that you can control remotely that can fit

into places where a camera couldn't fit but you can think of this as kind of

like a gopro on steroids i guess it's got a fixed focal length lens but image

quality is supposed to be amazing

apparently it's tough to look at him go

200 kilogram force

so what they're demonstrating here is the only way to

break a Sony is to actually hit the record button

alright that was a little mean

not really

okay so I have some experience with the rx10 lineup and I actually think they're

kind of cool cameras but I have some thoughts on this that I want to share

with you but we're gonna move over to the bigger camera I'm using the RX100 V

right now and it's gonna overheat if I talk too long I can think of one

announcement I would have liked to have heard

okay so I was kidding around a

little bit earlier sort of I yearn for the day where Sony makes a product

announcement they has some kind of indication that the processor is being

beefed up to the point where it could handle the specs that these cameras have

Sony make wonderful products the image quality is incredible the video quality

especially in 4k is outstanding but then there are other problems that happen

particularly with overheating when you're shooting video at 4k on various

models I really wish that could be addressed but alas that's not what they

were talking about today they did a recap on the RX 0 and then they also

announced the sony rx10 mark 4 which I actually like the RX 10 lineup I have

tried the rx 10 mark 2 last year I did a video in fact almost a year ago give or

take I did a review on the rx 10 mark 3 that I borrowed from B&H I really liked

that camera a lot it is a bridge style camera which is the

same as exactly the same form factor as you're seeing in the IV I'll talk

about the form factor in a second but essentially it allows you to have a very

versatile but fixed lens and so you can think of it a couple ways like a bridge

camera could be it's a DSLR but you can't change the lenses or you can think

of it as a really oversized compact version of the rx 100 or something like

that I think that considering the price point and what you get out of that the

big takeaway with the rx series in general is the fact that you get

basically a focal length equivalent of 24 to 100 millimeter focal range you can

do tele macro and this all comes in a package 4k video etc for it's about

$1,700 which if you were to buy those components it would cost you a lot more

than that of course you are down to a one inch sensor but I think we're at the

point now a technology where especially with what Sony have done in sensor

design over the last couple years is don't think that you're not going to get

really good results with a one inch sensor they really are

building stuff around that that is pretty amazing the RX100 V has the same

one-inch sensor on it it is outstanding I did an entire vlog with that camera

only this was a couple months ago when I went to New York and my friend Eric

Rossi and I went to Brooklyn I will link that up here so if you want to see what

a one-inch sensor can do low light day light everything I used that camera and

I used a gimbal for that and that's all I shot on the entire day now I was

vlogging so you're shooting in short segments I did have some overheating

problems when the sun was in a particular area and we were in a very

warm location I had to turn that camera down and let it cool but I shot all day and

that happened once now I'm not shooting more than five

minutes at a time I'm shooting in small bursts most of the day and I did have

five batteries with me so is this system perfect no and I'm we're talking about

two different things here but this is this rx series they all use the same

batteries but the RX 10 is a cool camera and the big additions that

they're adding onto this one is first of all and they didn't make a big deal

about this but I think it's a huge deal is phase detection autofocus the autofocus

on here is much improved and so if you're shooting video or anything we're

going to be using heavy continuous autofocus the RX100 V is good enough

for that and this is going to have some of the same focusing system that camera

does now so I think the rx 10 mark 4 is a very viable option for that phase

detection autofocus is a big deal and that was one of the frustrations I had

with the previous version the III the second thing they have added for still

shooting is you can get now continuous 24 frames a second so what they're doing

is they're taking what they've introduced in the A9 and you're starting

to see that technology trickle down into other cameras as well of course the

RX100 V does that as well but the RX100 V is a pocketable camera it doesn't have

nearly the focal range on the lens and so basically this is like a concept of

taking the RX100 V and beefing it up into something that is you know a bigger

camera and just does a lot more it's just taking that concept and seeing how

far they can take it anyway this is all want to say about that

today I would like to get my hands on one I don't own one but this is an

excellent camera for somebody who wants to get an all-in-one inclusive

versatility package but doesn't want to buy the components separately or spend a

ton of money on it we'll see and I'll wait till I get my hands on one till I

can actually tell you I do think these work really well for video but at the

same time I think Sony are kind of moving

away from that for instance on the mark II - you had built-in neutral density

filters and you didn't on the III and I don't think you do on the IV and

say anything about it today it does have threading on the lens

though so you can actually attach a physical filter but it would be nice

just to have one built in that you could use I want to know but you guys think is this

exciting is this eh? does Sony need to fix some things so they'll be as awesome

as they can be I think so but anyway leave me a comment let me know if you

guys enjoyed this video please remember to like it share it with your friends

subscribe to the Art of Photography for more videos see you guys in the next one

I got the iPhone announcement coming up this afternoon so I hope that's worth

doing a video on will soon see alright until the next video later

Sure Way to Escape the Negativity Trap - How To Stay Positive In A Negative Situation - Duration: 13:36.

Kris Krohn here today on limitless TV with guest mentor and friend Marianne DeNovellis.

And today, we're going to have some fun. I'm going to be interviewing

Mary Ann on this topic of, how do you stay positive when you're facing a

really deeply negative situation? And I got a couple of zingers for her because

I want to draw out as much bonus as we possibly can to create value for you so

hang tight through the whole video because I got a special question coming

at the very end.

So today's video is all about how to stay positive in a negative situation

and I've invited in one of my peer mentors that I have deep respect for

Marianne DeNovellis. Because just even in her recent life, she has done some

astounding things. I've been able to witness in the last couple years how

she's transformed her body, how she's transformed her finances, how she's

transformed her marriage, and she's transformed her business. She's got

success screaming all across the board and I remember Marianne that would live

part way in a positive world, part way in a negative world who's finished crossing

over to the light side where you've got a very different relationship with light

and dark. Will you just take a moment just talk about all the amazing things happening

in your world right now?

Oh my gosh it's on fire! You know I have four parts of my

world that I like to work on. I love working in my personal power, my health,

my wealth, and my connection. And for the longest time, I was working on all of

those different things and the wealth was just the last thing on my list. And

when I nailed that, I was like, guess what? it's time to start over again. It's time

to just keep getting level higher, level higher. And when you say light side dark

side, that's the ultimate living in the light.

I love that. Well, let's back up to

the beginning because I want to be able to, I'm hoping that today you can drop

some very specific and concrete advice on what you do to choose into the

positivity especially when negativity is all around you. Can we start with maybe

something more recent in your life where you allowed that negativity to come in

and start playing a domineering role. What happened?

Oh my gosh and this was,

this was, those one of those dark pit moments. You know, when you're, when you're

in this this moment when you feel like something has to change but you don't

know how, you don't know when it's gonna happen or if it's gonna happen and

you're just feeling the crushing pressure of everything coming down on

you. For me, it was finances. I just could not figure out how money worked. I

couldn't figure out how it's supposed to come into my life. You know, you hear

these affirmations from coaches and speakers all over the world that will

say, money flows easily to me. Money flows effortless to me. And I was like, you know

what? It's not working. I don't understand how it's supposed to work because that's

not what my bank account says and that's not what I'm feeling right now. And

it came down to the worst of the worst moment. I'll never forget being at the

gym and crying just, and we talked about the

ugly cry. Like, this is the ugly cry. This is not in the workers. And I'm in a

public place with all of these people and I'm beyond caring, beyond whatever

perceptions of dignity I felt like I had left. It was one of those moments where

you know I was facing it head-on and I would just didn't have an answer.

Have you ever felt a time in your life when that negativity came crashing down on

you and you felt like you couldn't breathe?

or maybe you described it in the way that Marianne just did here? I think

that's something that all of us, no one gets to escape that. Every one of us can

identify with that and here's what I want to know Marianne, you had had a lot

of training at that point your life. In that moment, what did you change and what

did you decide to do different? What happened? There's a duality. You know, we

talked about, you know what works and what doesn't. And as long as you're

walking the fence you're gonna get mixed results. You're gonna get some from this

side and you're gonna get some from this side and you're not gonna progress

anywhere because your keep running up against that block. I have a favorite

saying now that says, "get the tickets out of your butt and get off the fence.

You either got to play all-in or you got to play all-out." and I knew I didn't want

to play in that playground anymore. So it really came down to the wire of choosing,

What am I going to allow in my perception?

Wow. So, what is it then you're

doing today to stay positive especially when the negativity wants to mount up

against you?

I gotta tell you something, when you choose into positive, you will

get evidence that says don't! You will get resistance and it's actually really

beneficial for you. We talked about going to the gym. If you didn't have resistance

on those weights would you get any stronger? You wouldn't get any stronger.

Absolutely not! So that resistance, I've actually

converted it from being my enemy to my leverage. I use breakthrough. Breakthrough

is my number one tool and I'm on a search-and-destroy mission now to find

all the limiting beliefs, find anything that gets in my way and obliterate it so

breakthrough is my number one go-to.

Listen, if you're a subscriber, if you're

not you need to change that. Then you've watched enough videos and this word

breakthrough comes up a lot. Marianne inside my organization of limitless is

actually one of our certifiers of those with breakthrough but can you maybe talk

about breakthrough in its most simplistic format that everyone watching

the video right now can enroll them what does it mean for you to do breakthrough

when the negativity is mounting?

Oh gosh, this is so beautiful! And I gotta tell

you something, when we first got the breakthrough

the script was 9 pages long. And I thought, oh my gosh am I gonna have to go

through 9 pages of mental processing before I can shift? And the beautiful

part of is that, yes there's room for that but in my everyday life I'm moving

at such a speed where I gotta have instant flip. I got a shift quickly and

that's what we call lightning breakthrough.

Lightning breakthrough is

just three simple questions.

Is it serving me?

Do I want it?

And then what

would serve me better?

Okay let's do it. Let's give our viewers an opportunity to

actually witness breakthrough. Not just hearing it from you because that's

amazing but more amazing is having you do something right now during this video.

Walk them through the three steps. What's the first question?

Here's the most important question,

what is the number one limiting belief that's getting in my

way right now? And you got to ask yourself that right now. In fact, take a

moment. What's blocking you from your goals?

What are the ideas that you have that you don't have in your pocket right now?

There's somewhere in the future, what is the number one limiting belief that's

keeping you from that?

Okay now in this when it's time for you to ask a question

like this like, right now you can hit pause on the video or close your eyes or

just take a deep breath and allow that intuitive answer to rise up. It may be

that I'm feeling anxiety or I don't have enough time or I don't feel like I'm

enough or I don't feel like I can do this or I don't have the resources or I

don't know how. It could be anything and that right there is what is fueling the

negativity. And we're talking about how you overcome that negativity, you got to

get to the root cause. So right now, this first question is what is the limiting

belief? that's the cause of the negativity. Okay they got a limiting

belief that's come up for them, now what?

Okay. Now you got to question it. You got to

ask yourself, is this serving me? Is it going to help me get where I want to go?

to continue thinking about this thought? am I gonna feed it? If you listen to

Native American cultures, they will tell you the story of the two wolves. And the

tools inside of us are the light and the dark. What we don't want versus what we

want. You got to starve the one that's not getting it what you want. So I'm

gonna question it and say, is this serving me? Well and so, if I were to go

back to your breakthrough moment that came back with the money, what was the

limiting belief that came up? I'll never figure this out. This is a huge one.

I'll never figure it out. And then when you questioned it, and you asked whether

it was serving you, what did you arrive at?

Oh my gosh, how could it possibly

serve me? how could it serve me to think I'm never gonna figure this out? That's,

it's not only debilitating me now but it's just my future is on the line with

never. It's word that's totally destroying everything so of course it's

not serving me.

Okay so super powerful. We know what the cause is, we know it's not

serving, step number three.

What do I want to build instead? what would serve me

best? That's the question I asked myself and this is the replacement. If you're

gonna starve one wolf you got to feed the other because you got stuff coming

out of your brain all the time. So you got to say, what is going to get me where

I want to go?

So in that moment, what was the new belief that you chose into

instead of I'm never gonna figure it out, what did you replace it with? I figured

it out already. Guess what, I figured it out. And this present tense, this right

now, this I did it, I figured it out. I did it. I know exactly what to do.

That's the

bridge.

So right now, you get to come up with, what is the belief that will serve

you and I just want to ask this follow-up question. In that moment that

you told yourself, I figured it out did you actually have it figured out?

No we're still on the gym floor. We're still sobbing on the gym floor.

So how could you put energy into I figured it out if you didn't know what it was

that you figured out?

That's, that's the beautiful part of it. It is no harder to

create what we want than it is what we don't want and you can feel that. Feel

that energetic shift when you're in that yuck versus oh my gosh let's try

something new on. Let's see if it works any different. My bank account didn't

change in that moment. My bills didn't change that well when my debt didn't go

away that moment but this shifted. Now when that shifted, what happened

within the next several months later?

Fast forward. We're gonna go a few months

later and say I figured it out I know exactly what I need to do. If I'm in this

perception if I have no idea then all of the options that ever come to me they're

gonna be invisible because my mind is blind to them. Now I'm in this mindset if

I know exactly what to do so I know what the next step is. Every time I saw an

opportunity from that point forward, oh my gosh that's what I need to do!

So you had to believe that you had it figured out to actually figure it out?

Absolutely!

Okay friends that's what I'm talking about here that's the level of faith

that says I get to pronounce it and proclaim it before I actually get to see

it. Believing comes before

seeing when you're creating what you never have before. And you took yourself

financially from a really pitiful difficult place and what's financially

lifelike today?

Oh my gosh it is such a breath of fresh air. You know, you talk

about breathing new oxygen, I feel like I can go anywhere in the world. In fact, I

do on a regular basis. I can do anything I want and it's a matter of what do I

want to create? I don't ask my bank account for permission anymore.

My bank account obeys me. I live in a world of complete abundance.

You got the big nugget on me right there. I love that.

Awesome. Okay so Marianne, we're wrapping up this

video and I want to just ask for if I can, I want to be selfish and ask for a

little bonus bonus content. You've given

us the three steps of lightening breakthrough and essentially you've

asked these questions of what is the number one limiting belief, is it serving

me, and what would serve me better. Three powerful questions for our viewers today

that are wanting to know what do you do when that negativity seems to be boxing

you in the corner and there's nothing else that you can do but give in. I want

to ask, do you have any other tips or tricks that you want to share today on

something that you do that on top of breakthrough

just adds more more gasoline to the fire and puts you in a position of total

empowerment?

I've got this really juicy tool that I use. And I've been using it

for years. Our brain works on evidence. It collects evidence from all over and

that's what fuels our limiting beliefs but it's also what fuels our positive beliefs.

So I actually at home, in my office, I have this binder that says, Marianne's

success binder in it. And whenever I have, I call this, I have a miracle box in my

room, I pull something off it that I want. I keep it logged in my success binder. I

have the first check that I ever received from my own business in that

binder. I have my home that I live in in that binder. I have the new washer and

dryer a picture of them that I bought in that binder. Whenever I need to remember

what evidence and what's working, I go through that binder. And it's getting

thicker and thicker and thicker. And guess what? My life is made up of? success.

Wow that's amazing. So you today could start your own success binder and if you

proclaim something like, I figured it out, now you're gonna start collecting

evidence that says, hey today I did pick up a bread crumb exactly what I needed I

figured something out.

Marianne, this information has been so

valuable. It's so refreshing for me to hear you sharing it and teaching it and

living it and I know that you're changing so many lives. Quick question,

who are you today? like, what are you doing with your life? what are you doing

with all this amazing information now that you've figured out how to box out

and starve the one wolf or the negativity, what are you doing with the

positive wolf of light that's that's just jacked up on all the success and

awesomeness of being you?

The most exciting thing for me to do in my world

is to teach others do the same thing. So right now in limitless I'm a movement

leader and I grow other people to help them grow their businesses. I teach

people how to be authors. Guaranteed within 90 days they are in a

best-selling author position. Like, who does that? Nobody does that! We do that

though. We help people grow their business, we help people reach

their income goals, we help people financially, we help people that have a

message not only share it with the world but have a stage to do it on. So you're

launching mentors? Of course! and you're teaching them how to share their message

with the world just like you're doing?

Absolutely!

Super awesome. If someone

wanted to know more about that or becoming a mentor, becoming a

best-selling author or wanted to find out how to master feeding the one wolf

and starving the other, what would you recommend? There's a link by in the

comments there that you're gonna want to click on. Check it out see what fits for

you. If you feel like there's a calling inside of you, if you feel like you've

got a message, if you feel like there's a book inside of you that maybe it's been

on the shelf for years. Maybe it's been thinking in your mind and it's been

bubbling up but you haven't quite got it out of your body yet, don't take it to

the grave. Get it out and share with the world. Check it out.

Awesome Marianne, thank you so much. Such a powerful message. Friends, you've been

given two really powerful tools breakthrough the success finder to help

you know what to do when negativities around you and this is my personal

witness that as you get better and better and better at casting out the

negative, it stops showing up and it stops being present in your life because

you become super dedicated to the choice to live positively on purpose.

Marianne, thank you so much!

EZEKIEL ELLIOT - Before They Were Famous - DALLAS COWBOYS - Duration: 11:13.

Before Ezekiel Elliot was drafted into the NFL, picked fourth overall by

the Dallas Cowboys

Before inking a four year rookie contract with the Cowboys, worth a reported 24.9 million

dollars, with a 16.3 million dollar signing bonus

Before Ezekial was suspended from the NFL for alleged domestic violence, but managed

to get that suspension put on hold indefinitely,

Ezekiel Elliot was born to an Athletic family in the St Louis suburb of Alton Illinois.

Even as a little kid, he showed promise on the football field, with skills that would

eventually lead him to the NFL.

But along the way, he'd face tough decisions and experience a heart breaking tragedy.

My name's Michael McCrudden, documenting the life and career of Ezekiel Elliot prior to

fame, here for you on Before They Were Famous.

Big shout out to Seat Geek for sponsoring this video.

I've covered a ton of foot ball players in the past, like Odell Beckham Jr, Marshawn

Lynch and Colin Kaepernick.

Be sure to check out those videos and let me know who's next in the comments down below.

Ezekiel Elijah Elliot was born on July 22nd, 1995 in Alton, Illinois.

His father, Stacy, was a social worker, and his mother, Dawn was an accounts manager.

But, both had a strong backgrounds in athletics.

Dawn, had been a high school state champion in three sports before running track at the

University of Missouri.

Stacy was a four year outside linebacker for the Missouri Tigers.

On top of this, Zeke's maternal grandfather played basketball for Drake University.

Zeke grew up on Brown Street in Alton, and attended elementary school there, before enrolling

in a private St. Louis school.

As a kid, he showed promise in all sports, but foot ball was a favourite from the beginning.

For high school, Zeke would stay in the St Louis private system, opting to study at the

academically driven John Burroughs Prep in Ladue.

There, Ezekiel was a standout track and field athlete, specializing in sprinting and hurdles

events.

He won four state championships in track, taking home Ws for the 100 meter dash, 200

meter, 110 meter high hurdles, and the 300 meter hurdles.

He was also named the Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year in the state of Missouri.

On top of that Zeke played baseball, basketball, and of course, football.

As a junior, he rushed for 1802 yards and 34 touchdowns, and received 23 passes for

401 yards and six touch downs.

In 2012, the St. Louis Post Dispatch named him the offensive player of the year.

In his senior year, he had 3061 yards and scored 50 touchdowns.

His talents on the field turned the John Burroughs Bombers around.

He lead the team to three straight title games.

But they lost all three.

Coming out of high school in 2013, Scout dot com ranked Ezekiel as a four star recruit,

and listed him as the number 9 running back in the country.

He was recruited by over 40 schools, and there was tremendous pressure for him sign with

his parents' alma mater, the University of Missouri.

But he opted to take his talents elsewhere.

As a freshman at Ohio State University, Zeke played back up to starting running back Carlos

Hyde, but still managed to rush for 262 yards and 2 touchdowns, and score his only receiving

touch down in his NCAA career.

The next year, Ezekiel took over as a starter for the Buckeyes.

He scored 18 touchdowns, rushing for 1878 yards and receiving for 220.

But while Zeke and the Buckeys had a lot to celebrate on the field, off the field was

a different matter.

Kosta Karageorge became one of Ezekiel's team mates for the 2014 season, and the two became

fast friends.

As a college athlete, Kosta had suffered 15 reported concussions.

After his last, he began suffering recurring headaches.

One November night, after a fight with his girlfriend, he texted her a series of messages

late into the night, saying,

"i nvr felt this dark."

"bc i got nothing eles" "i am gonna kill myself" "i deserve to die anyways"

and, "all time low"

He also texted his mother, saying he was sorry for being a disappointment.

The message woke her up, and she quickly responded asking if he was okay.

She did not receive a response, and soon after reported her son missing.

Kosta missed football practices and a big game between Ohio State and the University

of Michigan.

He was later found in a dumpster, dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Kosta's death shocked Ezekiel.

He told ESPN,

"Our hearts dropped.

It was just a hard moment for all of us.

For me, personally, that was my first time losing someone that I was very close with."

Ezekiel was a pall bearer at Kosta's funeral.

Three days later, Ezekiel and the Ohio State Buckeyes would be facing off against the Wisconsin

Badgers in the 2014 Big Ten Championship Game.

Zeke ran for 220 yards, leading Ohio State to victory, and a spot in the first ever college

football play offs.

Ohio would win the Sugar Bowl against Alabama, and Zeke would be named Offensive Player of

the game.

In the championship game against the Oregon Ducks, he would named MVP again, and earn

the third most rushing yards in Ohio State history.

The Buckeyes defeated the Ducks 42 to 20.

In the 2015, season, Zeke would receive for 206 yards, and rush for 1821 and 23 touch

downs.

He lead the team to a victory over Michigan, and ended his college career scoring four

touchdowns in a Fiesta Bowl win over Notre Dame.

On top of that, according to his mother, Zeke was doing it all while suffering through constant

injuries.

She said,

"He basically played with a broken wrist the entire season...he broke it on August

8th, had surgery August 9th, and re-injured it during the season...He got all those yards

with one hand."

Over the course of his college career, Zeke scored 44 touchdowns, and 4,410 yards.

He was even considered a strong contender for the Heisman trophy.

Zeke announced that he would enter the 2016 NFL Draft on November 21st, 2015.

Despite being a running back, he was widely predicted to be a top 10 selection, and sure

enough, with the fourth pick in the draft...

Dude, this is a big day.

Get off the phone....Anyway, the cowboys offered Ezekiel a massive four year 24.9 million dollar

contract with a 16.3 million dollar signing bonus.

Going into his first NFL season, he was widely regarded as an early favourite for the 2016

In his rookie Season, Ezekiel Elliot was named the starting running back for the Dallas Cowboys,

ahead of veteran players, Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris.

Sure enough, the faith the cowboys put in the rookie was paid back in kind.

In his professional debut, Ezekiel scored a touchdown on an 8 yard run against the New

York giant and rushed for 51 yards.

After the ninth game of the season, he became the second Cowboy in history to rush for more

than 1000 yards in his Rookie season.

He finished the season as the NFL's top rusher, recording 1631 yards and 15 touch downs in

15 games.

He was selected as First Team All Pro, and in his first career playoff game, became the

only Cowboy rookie since 1971 to rush for over 100 yards in a playoff game.

But while once again, while he was thriving on the field, off the field was another matter.

Of course, it wasn't stupidity that Zeke was facing a suspension for.

His ex girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson accused Zeke of committing domestic violence against

her on five occasions throughout 2016.

While police authorities decided not to charge him for the alleged crimes, the NFL conducted

their own year long investigation into the allegations, and spurred controversy with

their decion to suspend Ezekiel from the first six games of the 2017 season for violating

the league's personal conduct policy.

Zeke appealed the suspension, but it was upheld by the league-appointed arbitrator on September

6th, 2017.

Then, two days later, a federal judge basically reversed this decision, by granting the NFL

Player's association's request to put the suspension on hold indefinitely, which put

Zeke back on the field.

Ezekiel would go on to play in the Cowboy's season opening game against the Giants, helping

his team to secure a 19-3 win.

As for the rest of the story, well, we'll have to wait and see.

This is Before They Were Famous.

10 Best Rotator Cuff Pain Stretches - Duration: 10:55.

hey everybody it's doctor Jo and Bear, and today we're going to show you the

top ten stretches for the rotator cuff. so let's get started.

so these top ten stretches are my favorite top ten. there's no research

behind it it's just what I found has worked best for me and for my patients.

so by the term rotator cuff, that usually means four main muscles. so

supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis, but when you really

think about the rotator cuff, the rotator cuff has a lot to do with the scapula

and the shoulder blade, and there's like 20 muscles that attach to the scapula, so

when we're doing stretches, we're not just stretching those rotator cuff

muscles, we're stretching all the muscles around that scapula and shoulder blade

because if one of those are out of balance, it's going to make everything

else out of balance and cause a lot of problems with the rotator cuff. and just

a reminder for the stretches when you're doing a stretch, you want to hold it for

at least 30 seconds and do it three times, so that really lets those muscle

fibers go, help stretch them out that Golgi tendon organ, or the GTO, you really

need that 30-second hold for it to relax and let go, so 30 seconds three times. so

the first stretch that we're gonna do is pendulums. pendulums are one of my

favorites for the shoulder. what it does is it really just helps open up that

joint, loosen up those muscles, really kind of get them warmed up for you to

stretch. so let's take a look at that. for shoulder pendulums, you're just gonna

dangle your arm down towards the floor, you're not actively gonna move your arm,

but you're going to use your body to move your arm making circles and then

reverse it the other way.

for shoulder arm swings front to back, just let your arm dangle down, you're not

actually moving the arm but you're moving your body to make your arm move.

for shoulder arm swings from side to side, just dangle your arm down. keep it nice

and relaxed, you're not actually moving your arm but you're moving your body

side to side.

the next stretch is just going to be a scaption stretch, so scaption is

basically not flexion out in front of you, not abduction out to the side, but

it's kind of right in the middle, and just doing some scaption stretches going

straight up and down is a really great way just to kind of again stretch out

that shoulder, but not holding the stretch just kind of getting those

muscles warmed up and moving, so let's check those out. for shoulder scaption

active range of motion, put your thumb in an upward position and keep your arms

straight, it's not completely out to the front and it's not out to the side, it's

about in the middle at a 45 degree angle, and just bring it up to about 90 degrees.

number three. so stretching with a stick or a PVC pipe, you can use you a cane if

you have a cane, is a great way to really get that extra stretch especially maybe

you're not able to quite get that movement yet, so we're going to do a

flexion stretch with a stick, so let's check that out.

for shoulder flexion passive range of motion with a stick, you can use a cane,

or a broomstick, or PVC pipe if you have some. your arm is just going to go along

for the ride, so the other arm is going to do all the movement it's just going

up and down, and then the other ones just sitting on top.

number four, now we're going to go into an abduction stretch with a stick, so

again I really like using the stick it kind of helps get into that stretch if

you're still in a passive stage, or an active assistive stage where you can't

really move it on your own yet, like you're not supposed to because of a

precaution or just because you can't because it still hurts a lot. using the

stick really helps move that shoulder and that arm for you without you having to

actively doing it. so let's check out. for abduction for shoulder abduction passive

range of motion with the stick, you can use a cane, a broomstick, or PVC pipe if

you have some. your arm is just going to go along for the ride and the other one's

doing all the movement. so it's pushing the arm up, just set your hand on top of

the cane or the PVC pipe with your thumb pointed upwards, and then just push your

arm up as comfortably as you can.

number five is going to be external rotation stretch with the stick. so the

same concept you're using that stick to push through that motion to really get

that stretch and a lot of times again it's too painful to do or maybe you're

not supposed to actively use those muscles yet if you've had a surgery or

something, so this is a great way to get that stretch and that passive or that

active assisted range of motion. so let's take a look at that. for shoulder

external rotation passive range of motion with a stick, you can use a cane, a

broomstick, or PVC pipe if you have some. the arm is just going to go along for

the ride, and the other one's going to do all the movement. bend your elbow and put

it by your side, keep it there the whole time, try not and let it come out, then

hold on to the pipe with your thumb up and then push outwards and come back in.

so remember make sure that elbow is not coming away from your side.

number six wall slides. I really love wall slides because again you're using

something to kind of help support your arm, so it's just like it sounds, you're

sliding up the wall, but it's great because instead of actively doing it all

by yourself, you have the wall to kind of help support your arm, and you also have

that wall to kind of lean against and push up against to get that extra

stretch, so it's a great way to get that stretch. let's check it out. for a

shoulder wall slide, place your hand on the wall with your thumb facing outwards,

slide your hand up the wall as far as you comfortably can.

number seven internal rotation stretch with the towel. this one's kind of tough.

it's a little bit uncomfortable, but it's going to be the one that helps get that

arm up behind your back, that internal rotation motion. it's not always

comfortable sometimes a little bit painful if you've had that rotator cuff

injury, this is usually the hardest one to get back, but using a towel really

helps stretch and get that movement back. so let's take a look at that. for an

internal rotation towel stretch, roll up a towel and with the hand that you're

not going to stretch with, put it up and behind you. then the one you want to

stretch it's going to go down behind you and then you're going to pull upwards. so

I'm gonna turn around so you can see it.

number eight. another great way to get that internal rotation, but not maybe

going back behind you but just getting that internal rotation stretch is what

we call a sleeper stretch. this one's really great too, and you can use your

other arm to kind of help push through it which is nice again it's a little

uncomfortable, but you know you don't want to be in pain while you're doing it,

you just want to feel a lot of tension while you're doing it.

so let's check it out. for shoulder internal rotation sleeper stretch, the

arm that you're going to stretch is on the ground. put your shoulder and elbow

at about a ninety degree angle, and then take your other hand and push it

downwards towards the floor until you feel a stretch.

number nine a corner stretch. this is really just to help open up those chest

muscles .it's a great way again to get that stretch using the wall to kind of

help push through that stretch and all these muscles in here. again some of them

might not specifically be those rotator cuff muscles, but they're muscles that are

really important to keep stretched and loose and help that whole rotator cuff

in general, so let's check out the corner stretch. for a corner chest stretch, place

a hand on each side of the corner and one foot in the corner then push in and

hold the stretch.

number ten a prayer stretch, or in yoga sometimes they call it the Child's Pose.

this is another one of my favorites because if you can get comfortably in

this position you can just relax your whole body and let your shoulders get

that stretch. you can go a little bit side to side or you can just go straight

down for that shoulder flexion. I really really like this one so let's check it

out. for the prayer stretch, start off sitting on your feet and then you're

going to push your arms straight out in front of you on the ground holding the

stretch.

so there you have, it those were the top ten stretches for the rotator cuff. if

Foods That Are Rich in Vitamin B-12 for Any Diet - Duration: 5:57.

Foods That Are Rich in Vitamin B-12 for Any Diet

Overview. Vitamin B-12 is a water-soluble, essential vitamin found in many animal product foods.

It helps your body make red blood cells and DNA, and keeps your nervous system healthy.  If you eat a lot of meat and dairy, it's easy to get enough vitamin B-12 in your diet.

But you may struggle to meet the daily recommended value (DV) if you: are an older adult eat a vegan or vegetarian diet have pernicious anemia have a digestive disorder that makes it hard for your body to absorb nutrients are pregnant Some medications can lower the vitamin B-12 levels in your body.

These include: proton pump inhibitors (Prilosec, Prevacid) H2 receptor antagonists (Zantac, Pepcid) metformin If you can't get enough vitamin B-12, supplements are available. Still, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend getting your nutrients from food whenever possible.

The B-12 in dietary supplements is synthetic, and your body may not absorb it as well. In addition, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesn't regulate dietary supplements. This makes it hard to know for sure what you're getting.

The top vitamin B-12-rich foods. Here's a list of vitamin B-12 foods to help you meet your nutrition goals: 1.

Clams  84.1 mcg per 3 ounces Whether you steam them or eat them raw on the half shell with a spritz of lemon juice, clams are one of the best sources of vitamin B-12.

They're also low in fat, high in protein, and an excellent source of iron and other B vitamins.

Beef liver 70.7 mcg per 3 ounces Beef liver may be an acquired taste, but it's also high in vitamin B-12, protein, iron, and vitamin A.

To add it to your diet, try it braised or dredged in flour and sautéed with onions. Beef liver is also high in cholesterol, so don't rely on it alone to meet your vitamin B-12 requirement.

Fortified breakfast cereals 60 mcg per 1/2 cup Breakfast cereals are great vegan sources of vitamin B-12. Different brands may contain different amounts.

Look for varieties that provide 100 percent of the DV in one serving. Salmon 4.8 mcg per 3 ounces The nutrition benefits of this fatty fish don't end with vitamin B-12.

Salmon is also loaded with omega-3 fatty acids. These unsaturated fats help prevent heart disease and stroke by lowering your cholesterol, reducing inflammation in your body, and lowering your blood pressure.

Trout 3.5 mcg per 3 ounces Trout is a nutritional powerhouse. An average filet (around 3.5 ounces) provides more than 100 percent of the DV of vitamin B-12.

Trout is also high in protein, other B vitamins, and many minerals. Enjoy it baked, broiled, or sautéed with fresh veggies.

Milk 1.2 mcg per cup A cup of milk provides a good source of B-12. It's also a reliable source of calcium and vitamin D. If you're trying to limit fat and calories, stick to low-fat or skim dairy products.

Yogurt 1.1 mcg per cup You'll get the benefits of vitamin B-12, calcium, vitamin D, and beneficial probiotics if you eat a cup of yogurt each day. Choose varieties with no added sugar.

Ham 0.6 mcg per 3 ounces Ham contains all the B vitamins except folate. It's lower in fat, calories, and cholesterol than many other meats, but often much higher in sodium.

If you're watching your sodium intake, opt for uncured brands. Eggs 0.6 mcg per hard-boiled egg Eggs aren't as high in vitamin B-12 as meat and fish, but they're a decent source.

They also pack a nice punch of protein. For an extra B-12 boost, whisk your eggs with low-fat milk before scrambling.

Chicken breast 0.3 mcg per 3 ounces Chicken is easy to find, inexpensive, and versatile. What's more, it provides some vitamin B-12, and it's high in niacin, a B vitamin thought to help lower cholesterol.

Vegan vitamin B-12 foods. Plant foods don't naturally contain vitamin B-12. If you don't eat meat, dairy, or eggs, add fortified vegan foods to your diet.

These may include:   breakfast cereals nondairy milks meat substitutes rice nutritional yeast energy bars To help prevent vitamin B-12 deficiency, don't rely on one vegan source of vitamin B-12 in your diet. Instead, eat a variety of fortified foods.

Including probiotics, which may assist with better absorption of B-12. Vitamin B-12 is not found in fruits, but that's no reason to leave fruit off your plate. Most fruit is high in folic acid, another B vitamin your body may lack.

Fruit is also high in fiber. High-fiber diets may reduce your risk of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Meats.

Vitamin B-12 in meats, fish, and poultry. Meat, fish, and poultry are the best sources of vitamin B-12. They're also good sources of protein and other B vitamins.

Here's a list of options to consider: beef veal elk chicken turkey lamb pork cod tuna bison herring oyster crab. Why vitamin B-12 is important.

Your body needs vitamin B-12 to function properly, yet it can't make it on its own. You must get vitamin B-12 from the foods you eat. If you don't get enough vitamin B-12, you may start to show certain symptoms.

Signs that you're not getting enough vitamin B-12 include: fatigue weakness loss of appetite constipation weight loss numbness and tingling balance problems difficulty thinking confusion or memory problems dementia sore mouth or tongue When you're deficient in vitamin B-12, your body can't produce healthy red blood cells.

The unhealthy cells die off before they can produce enough new ones. Left unchecked, this cycle leads to a condition called megaloblastic anemia, also called pernicious anemia.

Megaloblastic anemia may happen if you don't eat enough foods that contain vitamin B-12, or if your body can't absorb the vitamin. Once the condition occurs, it may be difficult to eat enough vitamin B-12 to treat it.

You may need vitamin B-12 injections. Your doctor can do tests to determine the level of B-12 in your body and if you need treatment. Symptoms of anemia are often severe and may include: paleness extreme fatigue irritability decreased appetite diarrhea weakness.

Vitamin B-12 daily requirements. How much vitamin B-12 you need each day depends on your age.

Here's the recommended dietary allowance by age, per the National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements: age 0 to 6 months (both sexes): 0.4 mcg age 7 to 12 months (both sexes): 0.5 mcg age 1 to 3 years (both sexes): 0.9 mcg age 4 to 8 years (both sexes): 1.2 mcg age 9 to 13 years (both sexes): 1.8 mcg age 14 and older (both sexes): 2.4 mcg pregnant women: 2.6 mcg breastfeeding women: 2.8 mcg It's important for pregnant women to eat plenty of vitamin B-12 foods to prevent their baby from being born with vitamin B-12 deficiency.

Takeaway. Most people who eat a typical Western diet get enough vitamin B-12. Vegans and vegetarians who don't eat dairy and eggs may find it more challenging.

Fortunately, there are plenty of foods fortified with vitamin B-12 to ensure you get the nutrients you need. People with certain medical conditions may also have difficulty getting enough vitamin B-12, even if they eat plenty of vitamin B-12 foods.

If you have symptoms of vitamin B deficiency, consult your doctor. .

A Simple Chisel Rack for m Bench | A long time coming! - Duration: 8:26.

[Music]

welcome back to clean Phil wanted again

I'm Phil and I'm just gonna say this up

front and subscribe like comment please

if you are subscribed or you've gone

through my video collection the very

first woodworking project ideas here was

a little wooden tote that fits into the

recess of my bench it does fold my

chisels crookedly cuz I didn't measure

it right but it also seems to hold

everything else that I don't need it to

in in the hopes of maintaining the edges

that I work so hard for on my chisels

we're going to build a little chisel

rack holder contraption these are my 4

mortising chisels one two three four

five six seven these are my seven

chisels and this is my square so these

guys gonna go back into the tool box I'm

going to use this board which I've had

sitting around for a while it's called

vitex and it was in a decking section I

don't really know what it is it sounds

like something that's manufactured but I

don't know what I am worried about is

making sure I'm not so worried about the

spacing for these guys as I am about

making sure these are pretty close to

evenly spaced up here I'm going to go

with one and a half on center

right

I want this to be below that so if I

ever have wood on top of it a project on

top of it this is not interfering so

probably put it like that I will

probably come up and build a little

bracketing system like James Wright does

have with his so they can move it to a

toolbox or move it out of the way I

don't have anywhere else to put these

unless I throw them in my toolbox which

is just full of stuff right now and

that's worse than this place so they'll

probably move between here the bench and

the little tote that I built but right

now this is good it's a good safe place

for it whenever I do build a racking

system like that I'll probably have a

toolbox we'll probably have made some

kind of toolbox but I'll build a second

one that will hold my mortising chisels

they don't need to be out here I don't

use them enough but these things these

things I do use so I do want them here

but all right again subscribe like

comment stuff and so you don't miss the

stuff that we're actually going to start

making it's smart though do it keep your

stuff safe keep your edges edgy
