En Acımasız Moğol Hükümdarı ''HÜLAGÜ HAN KİMDİR?'' DİRİLİŞ ERTUĞRUL - Duration: 6:15.THE HÜLAGÜ HAN WHO IS THE HANGUE OF THE DİRİLİŞ ERTUĞRUL'S LOOKING TOGETHER WHEN
WE CAN BE ABLE TO BE ABLE TO BE ABROAD TO THE KANALIMAN, AND THE LOVE IS THE BEST.
He was born in Karakorum in 1217.
His mother Sorgotani Beki and his wife Nine Chicks were Christians of Nasturi.
In spite of the usual welcome of the Mongol Empire against the religions, it is thought
that Hülagü's influence on Muslims was influenced by them.
Another view is that the evil treatment of the Umayyads and some Abbasid caliphs against
the Turkish-Mongol peoples has an effect on the enemies of the Muslims that they have
a feeling of revenge on Hülagü Han.
In 1255, Hülagün Han was appointed by his elder brother Mengü Han to complete the conquest
of the lands which have not yet been captured in the Middle East.
Their mission was to dominate the Lur, to destroy the Hashhashi sect, to destroy the
Abbasid Caliphate, to invade the Ayyubid-Syrian territory and to destroy the Mameluk State
in Egypt.
Mengü Khan ordered those who surrendered to Hülagu to behave well, while those who
opposed him completely eliminated him.
Hülagü Han's brother Mengü Khan made an order to command on the orders of the order.
He easily conquered Luristan Horse Brotherhood.
He destroyed the castle of Alamut, which was impossible to take from the poppies, with
the help of the Hitayite engineers in the army.
He opened the tunnel under the tunnel and filled with oil.
The tunnels were then destroyed by firing.
Then the Mongol army headed to Baghdad.
Hülaga Khan Khalifa wanted to surrender Mustasım'dan.
The Caliph, on the other hand, refused to surrender, saying that if he attacks him,
he will be subjected to the wrath of Allah.
On the other hand, many sources state that the caliph did not take adequate measures
against the attack.
Hülagü Khan divided the army into sections and besieged Baghdad from every direction.
The Abbasid army managed to push back some of the Mongol forces attacking from the west.
But they were defeated in later collisions.
In the Battle of the Düceyil, the Mongols trapped the sets on the Düceyil River and
trapped the Abbasid army.
Almost all of the soldiers were slaughtered or drowned.
Then the city was besieged.
Thereupon, Calife Mustasım offered to negotiate but was not accepted.
Mongolians entered Baghdad on 13 February 1258.
The city was looted for a week, the people were massacred.
According to historians, the number of people killed in the city exceeds 100 thousand.
Hülagü Han, French king of the period IX.
In his letter to Louis he says that his army killed some 200,000 people.
The mosques, palaces and hospitals that were built for generations were destroyed and destroyed.
Before the caliph was killed, his people were massacred and his city was plundered.
The caliph was then crushed by the horses.
All his sons were killed, except for one son.
On the other hand, the Mongols were doing a great plunder and massacre with their people
in the cities where they faced resistance.
If the city was delivered without a fight, its people were forgiven, as was the case
in Baghdad's siege, and as a result of short-term collisions, there was no such brutality but
plunder.
The atrocity of Baghdad was the most cruel event in the history of Mongol history.
Some Chinese cities are said to share the same fate as Baghdad, but they are not documented.
Even hundreds of years later, Baghdad was abandoned and the ruin city could not escape
its appearance.
After Baghdad was taken, small cities in the region reported their allegiance to Hülagü
Han.
The Mongol army marched on Syria to Ayyubids.
Troops sent to the Mediterranean coast.
It seemed to be the next destination in Egypt.
However, the death of Mengü Khan forced Hülagü Khan and most of his army to give up these
expeditions.
The fights of the throne behind him resulted in a brother being imprisoned and the other
elected Great Khan.
After the death of Mengu Khan, the Mongol unity was disbanded and the empire was divided
into four parts.
The İlhanlı State, founded by Hülagü Han, is one of them.
In the Middle East, the Mongol army was defeated by the Turkish soldiers in the Battle of Calcutta.
In 1262, Hülagü returned to the area dominated by the loss, but did not have the opportunity
to take revenge of defeats.
When Hülagü Han gathered his army and went out on a campaign to avenge the defeat of
Ayn Calut, Berke Han sent his army under Nogai Khan over the Ilkhans.
Hülagü gave up on this trip and turned north.
The attempts to take the northern part of the Caucasus did not yield any results, and
was defeated by Nogai Khan.
This was the first war between the Mongol armies, and a clear indication of the disruption
of the imperial unity.
Hülagü Khan died in 1265.
Then his horse and concubines were buried with him as a victim.
His funeral was the last ruler according to the shamanist traditions.
His tomb is on an island in Lake Urmiye.
He continued his father's policy by replacing his eldest son Abaka Khan.

Developer Diaries: Matchmaker Evolution - Duration: 10:21.The matchmaker is a part of the game that can always be improved.
It was changed completely several times during the 9 years of game's life.
Now it's time for new serious improvements.
The matchmaker is one of the most important components of our game.
It forms the teams,
and it has to observe several conditions to make the battle interesting.
They are: Creating comparable team compositions,
Selecting diverse types of vehicles
and using a variety of maps.
he main requirement for the matchmaker
is to do it all quickly in order to send the player into battle faster.
n 2010, it was easier to implement.
There were only about 20,000 players, three nations,
fewer than a hundred vehicles and the players didn't have many Tier IX and X vehicles.
So, to make the waiting time shorter,
the matchmaker could create battles with five tiers of difference.
Can you imagine such battles today?
Gradually, more and more players researched the top-tier vehicles.
The lack of vehicles in the queue was no longer an issue.
The matchmaker could create battles with three tiers of difference.
But there were exceptions, many players remember this table.
Work on the matchmaker continued.
The developers restricted the number of SPGs to 5 per team,
started to separately balance out light tanks and SPGs,
created a rule for the number of Platoon players in both teams.
However, at the time, some issues remained unresolved.
An imbalance of vehicle types between teams.
For example, one team had six medium tanks,
and the other had six tank destroyers.
Trolling or "fail" Platoons in your team,
which consisted of a Maus and two Tier I vehicles, for example.
And arguably the most annoying issue:
battles where the players didn't have a worthy opponent to fight
Remember those battles when 4 Tier VIII vehicles were matched against only Tier X ones?
The Tier VIII vehicles didn't want to play right from the start
as they didn't have anyone to fight.
The first iteration of the matchmaker wasn't up to taking on these tasks.
It simply didn't have the necessary tools.
The matchmaker needed a complete revamp
and a new architecture to solve these problems.
Spring 2017 brought a new matchmaker as part of Update 9.18.
It improved the quality of battles
and fixed most of the issues known at the time.
We introduced new restrictions:
Platoons can now only be same-tier, which fixed the issue of trolling or "fail" Platoons.
We decreased the number of SPGs to three per team.
And, most importantly, we introduced the template system,
the main ones being 3-5-7, 5-10,
and battles with 15 vehicles of the same Tier.
The templates have strict rules:
there mustn't be more vehicles at the top of the list than in the middle,
and there mustn't be more vehicles in the middle than at the bottom.
This allows each player to have a worthy opponent in any battle.
Even when you're playing at the bottom of the list,
there is always enough vehicles of your tier that you can have a fair fight with.
The game completely changed. The quality of battles improved.
And the queue time didn't change.
The developers continued their work on the matchmaker:
Regulated the team compositions.
Now the number of vehicles of different tiers is equal for both teams,
and the difference in the number of tank destroyers,
SPGs and light tanks must not be more than one.
Implemented matching tanks of similar play styles.
Now the matchmaker tries to match the vehicles in such a way,
so that, for example,
two heavy tanks with autoloaders would not play against two super heavy tanks.
And lowered the probability of being bottom of the list as a Platoon.
While we were improving the matchmaker, the queue continued evolving
and caused two important issues.
The first problem: the players more often are bottom of the list
and they less frequently play against vehicles of their tier.
This mostly affects Tier VIII and VI vehicles.
The second problem: preferential matchmaking players mostly play the 5-10 format
with higher-tier vehicles and rarely play against lower-tier enemies.
This rids them of their advantage.
Those vehicles are designed to perform a bit worse in exchange for preferential matchmaking.
These parameters make it harder for the preferential matchmaking players
to fight same-tier and higher tier vehicles.
Strict templates can't fix these issues
because the queue completely changed and now looks absolutely different.
To understand why it happened, we have to first understand how it works.
When a player selects a vehicle
and clicks the Battle! button, they are placed in a queue.
Imagine a big waiting room that gradually collects vehicles of different Tiers.
It depends on the vehicle choice of thousands of players,
what vehicles end up in the queue.
The queue changes all the time because of that.
Different numbers of vehicles of different tiers are constantly added to it.
The vehicles wait in this room until there are enough vehicles of the necessary tiers
for the matchmaker to send them into battle.
he waiting time depends on the number of players in the queue
and on the tiers of the vehicles that they chose.
After the matchmaker selected a template, took the appropriate vehicles from the queue,
allocated the vehicles to the two teams and chose a map,
it finally sends the players into battle.
Before Update 9.18, the queue and the vehicle ratio in the game
looked something like this.
There were four times as many Tier VIII vehicles as there were Tier X ones.
With such a vehicle tier ratio, the main 3-5-7 template worked well
and could quickly process the queue.
In order to send Tier X vehicles into three-tier battles,
it needed to take some Tier IX and VIII vehicles.
The rest of the vehicles played battles at their respective tiers.
Over the last two years, the queue and the vehicle ratio changed significantly.
Now it looks like this.
There are half as many Tier X vehicles as there are Tier VIII ones.
There was also an increase in the number of Tier IX vehicles,
however, the number of Tiers VII and VI decreased.
It so happened, that the matchmaker now works in a completely new environment with its old tools.
If it continues to send the same number of Tier X vehicles to battle,
it will take twice as many Tier VIII ones.
It means half of those Tier VIII vehicles will be playing at the bottom of the list.
At the same time, if there are not enough Tier VIII vehicles,
the matchmaker will send Tier Xs to same-tier and two-tier battles.
This is why the matchmaker creates such battles now.
It turns out that the system is imbalanced.
The matchmaker often sends the vehicles to the bottom of the list.
We want to change that.
We analyzed these issues and figured out their causes.
We tried different ways of solving them
and conducted many tests in search of the new tools for the matchmaker.
The biggest challenge is that it's impossible to predict what the queue will look like tomorrow
or in six months.
But we know one thing for sure: it will constantly change.
That's why we needed to find such tools
that could quickly adapt to different changes in the queue.
One such tool will be dynamic templates.
There will be many templates, but don't be afraid.
The matchmaker will choose the appropriate template for different tiers
based on the current state of the queue
and will try to balance the system out so that there are no apparent biases.
The dynamic templates change the picture significantly.
As soon as we change the template from 3-5-7 to 4-5-6
for Tier X vehicles, we decrease the number of Tier VIII vehicles
that will play as bottom tier.
Yes, they will have to play some battles with four Tier X vehicles,
but only for a small number of battles.
The matchmaker will choose the appropriate template set for each tier
based on the current state of the queue to balance the system in general.
This is what the system looks like to the matchmaker.
Let's use an example.
Take Tier VIII vehicles, a quarter of all battles are played in them,
they have all six battle configurations:
they play at the top, in the middle, and at the bottom of the list.
Let's take a date, say the 11th of December.
Considering the state of the queue that day,
the current matchmaker would have to send the Tier VIII vehicles to the following battles.
About 40% of the battles that Tier VIII vehicles played in featured Tier X ones,
and about 20% of them were same-tier and lower-tier.
If the new matchmaker would process this queue,
the Tier VIII vehicles would have played half as many battles that feature Tier X
and a lot more same-tier and low-tier battles.
Basically, the number of battles with Tier X vehicles will decrease dramatically,
and the number of battles with Tiers VI and VII will increase.
The queue will change every day and it will continue changing in the future,
but the new matchmaker with dynamic templates will be able to adjust to different queue changes.
It can handle both a queue like this and a queue like that.
It will try to choose such templates
that will decrease the number of battles at the bottom of the list.
The new matchmaker will improve playing in vehicles with preferential matchmaking.
Thanks to the dynamic templates,
these vehicles will more rarely get into battles with higher tier vehicles.
It will let them make better use of the preferential matchmaking.
Unfortunately, we can't fully test the new matchmaker anywhere but on a real server.
Therefore, we will shortly add the new matchmaker
to one of the RU servers after some tweaking and configuring.
We will announce it at a later date.
We will focus on testing the stability and fault tolerance
of the new matchmaker under real server conditions.
We will also collect real data about vehicle distribution in battles.
And we will of course tweak the template settings accordingly.
After the testing ends, we will collect the results and players' feedback.
When we make sure the new matchmaker improves the quality of battles,
we will launch it on other servers.
This is the plan for the near future.
Then, after we implement the initial algorithm,
we will continue improving the matchmaker
and the quality of the created battles.
We have many vectors of development, some of them already exist as prototypes,
others are still ideas.
We will start working on the best of them
and share our progress in the next Developer Diaries.
Please follow the news.

You know, I think I immediately go into that, that mode of okay we've got 'em.
What do we need to do now to make sure that he never gets out again?
I just want him to be expedited to hell.
If any case deserves the death penalty
the string of brutal murders certainly is the case.
I would like for him to answer for his crimes. I want to bring him to justice.
I don't really believe in the death penalty or anything like that I think
just being locked up is enough. I don't want revenge any longer. I of course
again I would love to have him experience fear.
That would be a great punishment for him
A great punishment.
If they catch him and he's brought to trial, I hope that he
faces the survivors from the families for the murder victims and I hope he
faces of course the death penalty.
All I want to do is you know watch him die a very painful death. I wouldn't say
anything to him but I would have a smile on my face. I hope that doesn't sound too
bloodthirsty. I'm a man that used the death penalty very sparingly only in the
worst of the worst cases and this is one where I would drop the pellet myself.

Who names the places on the Moon? - Duration: 5:02.This is Apollo 11, landing on the Moon for the first time in human history.
Just a few seconds after touchdown, Neil Armstrong said
"Tranquility Base here, the Eagle has landed".
Tranquility Base was the name that NASA had chosen for the site of the first Moon landing.
It's located in the south-western corner of the Lunar plain called Mare Tranquillitatis
or "Sea of Tranquility".
This is just one out of thousands of names that have been given to geographical features on the Moon.
But who is in charge of coming up with these names?
And are they official?
In this video we're going to look at how we began naming features on the Moon.
We're also going to look at who's in charge of making these names official and the strict
rules around naming a place on the Moon.
In the year 1610, Galileo released his famous drawings of the Moon.
Looking through one of the world's very first telescopes, he studied the moon closely
and was able to produce drawings which accurately represented the Moon's harsh features in
a way that no one else had ever seen before.
Although Galileo had essentially created the very first map of the Moon,
there were no place names on this map.
40 years later, a new map of the Moon was created by astronomers Riccioli and Grimaldi.
This map divided the Moon up into 8 sections and names like 'Tranquility' and 'Serenity'
were given to the great mountains and flat plains that lay in between.
This map quickly became the basis for naming the Moon's features and many of the original
names are still used to this day.
Fast forward by a few centuries and we have the birth of spaceflight.
In 1959, the Soviets became the first to send a probe to the far side of the moon.
This probe successfully imaged the side of the Moon which had never been seen before by humans.
With this new perspective of the Moon's hidden surface, the Soviets started to name
features after Russian Heroes and place names.
Over the next decade, America and The Soviets started to piece together higher quality images
of the far side of the Moon whilst continuing to name newly found features.
Although NASA often informally names features on the Moon,
they don't actually have any authority to officially assign names to lunar features.
When naming features on other planetary bodies,
each name has to be accepted by the International Astronomical Union.
However, it's not just NASA that can suggest names, anyone can submit a name to the IAU
as long as it complies with their specific guidelines.
Almost all craters on the Moon must be named after deceased scientists or explorers who
have made a significant contribution to their field.
The large plains that are so common on the Moon must be given Latin names which describe
things like weather and other abstract concepts.
Ridges like these which are found on the Moon have to be named specifically after Geoscientists.
Although these names must be attached to significant people within the science community, the scale
of a Lunar feature doesn't necessarily reflect who it's named after.
Copernicus and Archimedes both have their names attached to spectacularly large craters,
whereas other science legends like Galileo and Newton were given features that are much less impressive.
In 1970, the IAU agreed to name one of the widest craters on the Moon 'Apollo'
and smaller craters within Apollo were named after astronauts from the Apollo 8 and Apollo 11 missions.
Nearby craters were later named after deceased NASA employees,
including the lost crew of Apollo 1 and the two Space Shuttle disasters.
So although these names might not be familiar to us now, in the future when space tourism
is a reality, places like Apollo, Borman and Lovell might be as common to us as
New York, Paris and Tokyo.

The Shining Changed Horror Movies And No One Even Noticed - Duration: 5:44.From its ingenious sound design to a limited use of gore to Jack Nicholson's iconic portrayal
of Jack Torrance, The Shining left a permanent mark on horror.
Here's how The Shining changed horror movies forever...and ever...and ever.
One of the ways The Shining stands out from the horror crowd is through Stanley Kubrick's
hyper-realistic lens.
This terrifying tale is not told in the familiar shadowy environment most horror movies prior
to 1980 had used to bump up the scare factor.
In fact, the majority of the film takes place in broad daylight.
Add Kubrick's signature style to the mix, and the result is one beautiful looking movie.
With common tropes out of the way, Kubrick's signature sense of cinematic framing and lighting
helps to place the audience firmly into the mood and world of the Overlook Hotel.
The story becomes accessible in a way that many horror movies don't.
As supernatural as things become, this is still a human story.
Kubrick nails this point home by presenting each frame with a heightened sense of realism
that pushes psychological boundaries in a way that's almost unnoticeable.
Everything seems fine.
"Little slow tonight, isn't it?
HAHAHAHA"
Disrupting this genre formula not only keeps viewers on their toes, it also results in
a compelling story that never stops being creepy.
The Shining made it clear that it was okay to bring your monster into the light.
Not only does Stanley Kubrick focus on the get-under-your-skin moments throughout The
Shining, but he also commits to creeping out audiences through an unexpected use of sound
and silence.
As we've been reminded with the box office success of A Quiet Place, silence can be a
major tool in amplifying a sense of dread and danger.
There are moments throughout The Shining — following Danny's tricycle through the Overlook's winding
hallways come to mind — where the audience only hears the sounds of the wheels regularly
transitioning from the hard floor to the soft carpet.
It's not much to watch, but as the camera follows Danny, our perspective is minimized
and becomes childlike.
Add that to the unexpected sound cues of the movie's score, and the results are quite unnerving.
The result finds the audience no longer receiving warnings that the visual horrors are right
around the corner.
And with those guidelines thrown out of whack, a steady stream of dread and anxiety comes
into play.
"No. ah."
We've already mentioned the film's color palette and uncharacteristic use of light and realism
to add to the terror, but The Shining doesn't stop there.
What Stanley Kubrick pulled off is akin to the other classics in his filmography: He
made a well produced, well-acted, well-written film.
For decades, the horror genre has fought tooth and nail to climb its way out of the jokey,
B-movie recesses that have remained its home.
At its heart, The Shining is the tale of a family fractured as its patriarch descends
into madness.
It's a story that'd be easy enough to tell under low-budget circumstances, but Kubrick
was a perfectionist.
He elevated the genre through cutting edge methods and high-quality production.
These standards not only left an impact on horror movies, they forever changed cinema.
Throughout The Shining, Kubrick focused more on the personal demons Jack Torrance and his
son Danny were dealing with.
Yes, there are still spirits haunting the hotel.
But their appearance here coincides with Jack's own troubled past.
The ghost story is just the mask to the deeper, more human horrors.
Using horror as an allegory for a real-life issue is as old as the genre itself, but with
The Shining, Kubrick crafted a legitimately terrifying film that works on all the potential
levels.
If you're scared of hotel ghosts, don't watch The Shining.
And if a family man giving in to his addiction in violent ways makes your knickers quake,
don't watch The Shining.
And while prior horror movies like Rosemary's Baby and Night of the Living Dead were steeped
in allegory, The Shining's cultural impact influenced modern horror filmmakers to give
their movies depth that goes beyond jump scares.
One of the biggest horror movies in recent years, Get Out, explores its themes in similar
ways, and director Jordan Peele hasn't been quiet about drawing from The Shining for that.
He went so far as to admit that he even, quote, "totally ganked" the opening title credit.
"It's a f------ hedge maze out here."
In the same vein, The Witch director Robert Eggers told SlashFilm:
"When I watch The Witch, sometimes I'm a little disgusted by how much of my film flagrantly
reeks of The Shining.
At the same time, I will admit that if it wasn't for that, I don't think the film
would be working for people at all."
Before The Shining hit theaters, a popular trope explored in horror was that of "The
Evil Child."
From the Twilight Zone episode "It's a Good Life" to films like Village of the Damned
and The Omen, the creepy child motif had been a strong one in genre entertainment.
It still is, but The Shining represented the beginning of a transition.
Suddenly, movies started paying less attention to the young Antichrist wreaking havoc at
home, and focused more on telling empowered tales of survival and redemption through the
innocent perspective of the children themselves.
In putting Danny Torrance in a position of power — with the help of Dick Hallorann
showing him the how to "shine" the boy became the beacon of hope throughout the entire film.
"You've got the shinning."
"You mean Shining... "shhh do you wanna get sued?"
As the '80s progressed and films like A Nightmare on Elm Street, It, and The Goonies arrived,
the trend of empowered children gaining the upper hand against the evil adults of the
world grew exponentially.
Kubrick's The Shining flipped the proverbial script, turning this adult/child dynamic on
its head.

I'm a fan. You understand what I'm saying?
I don't like anybody anymore. I'm cranky.
I just like to go home and watch TV crime shows.
Which is funny because your thing is like mafia movies.
Yeah.
So we're going to get to that in a second,
but look, I got...
[sighs] Here's the thing.
The network, if you're gonna have artists on,
you gotta talk about their music
and, like, have small talk.
So we'll just do that real quick.
Yeah, get it out the way.
Yeah. So you do music. Tell me about it real fast.
Yeah, I do music. You know what I'm saying?
What do you do? What kind of music?
A little bit on the side, I do a little rapping.
I've been listening to you a lot, Jay Critch. I'm a fan.
I thought you were Puerto Rican,
so you're already down a couple of points,
but other than that, you good.
[soft laughter]
What I know about you so far.
You love Henny.
That's true.
You love Bentley trucks.
That's true.
You love talking money, which we just saw.
[chuckles]
And you love having sex with many random women.
Random, no.
Not random?
Random, nah. That's not my thing.
Anybody got a pen? "Not random".
Not random. Yeah, you gotta scratch that out.
You could put "bad" in there, but "random", it ain't me.
Oh, well, maybe we're using "random" in different ways.
I'm using it the dictionary way.
Nah, but you know, it ain't just random.
Like, if we meet somewhere, we're not strangers no more.
You know what I'm saying?
Right.
So you don't do blindfolded sex is what you're saying.
Yeah, I ain't just blind dating and
[laughs]
just picking girls up off the street and shit.
What's going on with this rap career of yours?
I'm working on an album right now.
Hood Favorite, my first mixtape, is out now everywhere.
Fire.
I'm just working on an album for coming 2019.
I need your help with something.
I wanna try to learn how to be smutty.
Oh, you can't learn how to be smutty.
You just gotta be born smutty. Like...
You have to be born smutty?
You gotta be born smutty.
[groans] Damn. I don't have the gene.
You're not smutty?
You might-- you smutty, Cipha.
You might be a little smutty.
I'm very unsmutty.
Every girl I've ever been with,
even if I went on one date with her,
one night stand, she becomes my girlfriend.
Oh, man. That's not smutty.
I know.
That's not smutty, Cipha. We gotta help you out.
This is my favorite line and I'm gonna butcher it.
It's not gonna be in your flow. It's impossible to do.
[chuckles]
"I just got a new check walking with the blue notes
before I had a blue check, I was ----ing new hoes.
She thinks that she wifey, but I don't really do those."
-See, I do those. -You do those?
[laughter]
I do those too, Cipha. I be frontin'.
How can I not be like that so much?
[clicks tongue]
I mean, I don't know.
If you got a good one, then you good.
Yeah. She's a good one.
[laughs]
[soft laughter]
-Anyway. -You straight.
Somebody said you're what they call the, uh,
the best type of SoundCloud rapper.
Do you take offense when you hear that term,
"SoundCloud rapper"?
Nah, I don't take offense,
but I just wouldn't call myself like that.
Like that category's, like, simple music.
You know? I don't make simple music. Yeah.
You started on SoundCloud though.
Yeah, definitely started on SoundCloud.
-Your music is on SoundCloud. -Mhm.
-You rap on this music. -And I rap on that music.
A SoundCloud rapper. Sorry.
[chuckles]
Technically... Technically and legally. [laughs]
I'm a Apple Music rapper,
uh, Spotify rapper.
You know what I'm saying? And all that.
Sorry, I'm down with Jay Z. Could you just say also Tidal?
Tidal. Shout out Tidal.
Sometimes people leave that out
and I'm obligated to mention that.
This is my friend Jay Z.
[chuckles]
So how did you get with Rich The Kid?
JAY: A mutual friend from Brooklyn,
my man's named Gramps.
Yeah, he been cool with Rich for some time,
so just through him knowing me and playing my music
and stuff like, Rich, you know, heard it
and then we just linked up like that.
Does he realize-- does Rich the Kid,
has he realized how Brooklyn you are?
You know what I'm saying?
Because you got the Brooklyn swag, attitude.
We done brought Rich to the block already.
He's been in the chicken spot, all that.
He know how Brooklyn it is.
You're one of those types of Brooklyn guys
that I could tell, like,
if I took your shoe off right now,
I guarantee you got dirt
because you didn't want to go into Manhattan
without having soil of Brooklyn touch your feet.
You know what I'm saying?
[laughter]
You know what I'm saying? Like, you like,
"I'm not going nowhere unless I'm standing on Brooklyn soil!"
I don't know, Cipha. I don't know about that one.
Brooklyn changed a lot.
Yeah, it definitely changed. Especially my area too.
Am I safe in Brooklyn?
Yeah, man. You good with me.
What part of Brooklyn are you from?
Clinton Hill, Fort Greene. Like, Downtown Brooklyn.
Oh, yeah, I'm safe. I know I'm safe there.
I'm sure you have a neighbor named Megan.
I got a neighbor named Megan.
-Amber. -Amber...
Susie, Lucy.
[laughter]
No, I'm ----ing with you, man. I love Brooklyn.
What's some of your favorite Brooklyn rappers?
Favorite Brooklyn rappers.
-Fab. -Fab, of course.
-Hov. -Mhm.
Fab and Hov...
Fab and Hov.
[laughter]
Tell me about basketball.
Yeah, I used to play ball. I was pretty good too,
-then I got-- -Nice.
I was pretty nice. Yeah, I was nice.
-You know some people say-- -I got lazy though.
-You got lazy. -I got lazy.
I'm gonna take a small guess on why.
Maybe marijuana consumption?
That was, like, the number one reason.
[laughter]
I was playing basketball.
I'm like, "Yeah, I'm gonna keep playing basketball."
Then soon as high school came--
I played freshman year. I did good.
Then after that, I was like, "Nah."
It was over after that. I didn't play.
-Lazy. -Yeah.
I'm very famous in New York. I don't know if you know that.
Yeah, I know that.
[laughter]
Because [stammers] I don't know.
Flipp Dinero was here
and he was showing me way more love than you and
I don't even know if I want to continue this interview.
JAY: Flipp, Flipp...
That's my boy.
But you know, I was going- I was gonna give my--
show my respect off-camera and all that.
Boring!
[laughter]
I ain't- I ain't wanna gas--
I didn't wanna gas him up too much
in the interview and all that.
[laughs]
Where do you think Anthony Davis is going?
Now, before you answer, I want you to understand
I know nothing about sports
and I literally read that question
off that little screen right there,
so I don't even know who Anthony Davis is,
but I wanna know where he's going.
Where do you think he's going?
I'm gonna say he going to the Lakers.
Going to the Lakers, right?
That's what my boys was talking about earlier.
Yeah. He probably gonna go to the Lakers
'cause he's leaving, um... He's leaving, uh...
Oh, yeah that team.
CIPHA: Was it..?
Pelicans. Pelicans.
-Yeah, he's leaving the Pelicans -Yeah.
and he's gonna go play with Kareem and Magic.
[laughter]
What's the highlight of your career so far?
Highlight...
What's the craziest thing you've seen
or person who met or place you've been, did a show?
I think performing at, like,
Barclays Center and Madison Square Garden.
Yeah.
-For me, that's the-- -What was that for?
I did the Tidal...
-Oh, you did it this year? -Yeah.
It's the one year I wasn't there
because I think they lost my number or something.
[laughs]
He's like my little brother.
You look like me,
but way skinnier, more handsome, better hair,
taller, fresher, more money, jewelry, better sneakers.
Aw, man.
[laughter]
My thing... "My thing".
My thing is doing this show,
talking to rappers I [bleep] with.
Your thing, from my research, is mafia movies.
You know a lot about mafia movies.
I [bleep] with mafia movies. I watched a lot of 'em.
-Yeah. -Yeah.
What's your favorite?
I'd probably say like Goodfellas and, you know, Casino.
Classics.
LA Confidential.
-LA Confidential? -That's a good one.
-Impressive. -Impressive.
That's not, like, a common top 10 gangster movie.
What do you think your gangster name would be
if you were in one of these?
Like you know how they all have
like Joey Two Times and Nicky Fingers.
Hood Fave-- Hood Favorite.
-Hood Favorite? -Yeah, that'd be my name.
I don't know if that sounds mafia-ish.
That's like the black guy in a mafia movie
that gets killed quickly.
[laughter]
That's like Sam Jackson in Goodfellas.
Yeah, you get out of here fast.
My nickname would be Blasphemy.
-Blasphemy? -Blasphemy. Because--
You definitely getting outta here in that movie.
No, because the bosses always go to me,
they're like, "I need you to blast them for me."
You know what I'm saying?
[scattered laughter]
That's pretty good.
Goodfellas, Godfather, Casino.
Even if they come on TV with commercials,
you'll watch them. Like, if you change the channel--
sorry, changing channels is what old people do with cable.
[laughter]
We changed channels.
I know you don't have cable,
you only have all the streaming services.
-No, I got that. -You got cable?
Yeah, my mom's got cable.
Oh, when you go visit your mommy while you change channels?
Who do you think your favorite actor would be
in the mafia movies?
Favorite actor. Um...
I like the short guy.
The short guy's always wiling out.
What's the-- what's his name?
Don't nobody tell him. I want him to figure this out.
Is it- is that Joe Pesci?
Yeah.
Yeah, that guy. He's always the one bugging out.
-He got a lot of spunk. -Yeah.
Can I tell you something that might make you upset?
What?
People from Brooklyn don't like hearing this,
but technically, geographically Brooklyn is all Long Island.
[laughter]
CIPHA: Look at his face. Look, look.
Nobody ever-- nobody's jackin' that.
Everybody's going to just call it Brooklyn, though.
-It's been-- -I understand.
It's the Borough of Brooklyn that sits on the Island of Long,
so you live in Long Island.
So then Queens is Long Island too.
Queens is Long Island too. They don't take--
Queens is more Long Island than Brooklyn.
They don't take as much offense as you're taking right now.
You live in Long Island.
Here's another thing I hate about Brooklyn.
Yeah, I'm from Brooklyn.
And I understand your shooters are here,
I might get shot.
Brook-lyn. Two syllables.
Brook, space, lyn.
Why do you call it "BK"? It should be "BL".
-BL... -You live in BL.
"BK" sound way better.
But it's not accurate.
Nah, man...
I think you should change it to BL.
I think you're the one--
I don't control things like this,
but if I come out--
You're the new face of Brooklyn!
Nah, if I come out of here and the Brooklyn "BL",
they might ban me.
Yo, what if Jay Z, M.O.P., Fab, and like, Buckshot Shorty
show up to your door like, [knocks]
"Yeah, you need to go across the bridge"? [laughs]
I'ma be in Jersey after that.
[cackles] But now I want to talk about some things
that maybe are not your thing. Okay?
I'll say a couple of things,
you tell me if I'm right or wrong
because I think these are not your thing.
Like professional wrestling.
Is that your thing or not your thing?
Not my thing.
You don't mess with it?
Nah.
I never really watched WWE and all that when I was younger.
Yeah. You like real sports like basketball
Yeah.
-and football. -Yeah.
-Soccer? -Yeah.
You mess with soccer?
My dad be watching it so I used to.
I forgot you're West Indian.
-What about Chia Pets? -Chia Pets?
Yeah, Chia Pets is your thing or not your thing?
I'll take a Chia Pet. Why not?
Yeah! Look at you, open-minded Jay Critch.
-Yeah, I ain't got... -Which one would you take?
I ain't got nothin' against-- I need that, um...
They had a Snoop Dogg one with the afro.
They had a Snoop Dogg one?
I think they did. I remember that.
What? I never saw the Snoop Dogg one.
Wiffle ball. Is that your thing or not your thing?
Because if you ever-- every mafia movie,
they always playing wiffle ball in the street.
-Wiffle ball? -Yeah.
Nah, not my thing.
What about just baseball in general?
-You a baseball guy? -Baseball, nah.
When I was younger we was playing kickball in school.
Tinder? You like Tinder?
Is that your thing or not your thing?
Nah, that's not my thing.
You don't swipe?
[laughs]
-You don't swipe? -Nah.
How you meet all these girls you rap about?
Just living life, man.
You just gotta, you know, go out there.
Just gotta get out there. [laughs]
Before your fame, how did you get the girls?
-Being honest... -What's the trick?
What's the smut words you say?
Now that I think about it, I really...
It's nothing different.
You just gotta talk, know what to say.
I don't know what to say.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
We gonna help you out.
-Could you help me out? -I gotchu, bro.
-Give me lessons? -I got you.
Do you slide into DMs?
Is that your thing or not your thing?
Hey, man, you're gonna get me in trouble.
-What do you mean? [laughter]
Who would you get in trouble by?
Do you slide into DMs?
I don't slide into--
Do you slide into DMs, Jay Critch?
Are you sliding in there?
[laughter]
If you can't do it no more, you'll get--
I probably slid a couple times, I'll keep it a hundred.
You know what? You know why you're gonna get in trouble?
'Cause you probably leveling up.
You slidin' into them R&B chicks' DMs.
[laughter] -Yeah!
Who are you sliding to?
Nah, Cipha. Nah.
[laughter]
Nah?
[laughs]
-You in K. Michelle's DMs? -Nah, not K. Michelle.
-Kehlani? -Nah, not Kehlani.
Ella Mai? You know you're in that Ella Mai.
[laughter]
Ha! He likes them London chicks.
Nah, not Ella Mai.
Ladies and ge-- [laughs]
Ladies and gentlemen, sliding into DMs
is actually his thing. Jay Critch. What?

Buying a home for the first time? 🏠 Find out what the seller paid for it. - Duration: 3:43.- If you're in the market for a home,
there is gonna be a lot of things to consider,
including what the seller paid for it
so you can have a baseline for appreciation
in this particular investment.
Let's talk about that in this episode of Office Hours.
Hey there, Dominique here.
Wanted to give you a couple of pointers on home investment.
I've owned a couple of real estate properties in my day,
and I wanted to provide you with
this particular framework around figuring out
if this is gonna be a good investment or not.
Now, this is not to say that you don't need
to involve a real estate professional,
but before you get to that point,
you may wanna do some back-of-the-envelope math,
so that's what I'm gonna help you with today.
Now, it's kinda funny.
Back in the day, when I was investing in real estate,
there were not websites like Zillow.
There were things like ZipRealty,
and you still had to have a realtor involved.
But you can go to Zillow now, look up the home,
and if you're the buyer, the prospective buyer,
you can start to look at the areas that you're in
or the area that you wanna buy in,
whether this is your first home purchase or not,
and you can begin to kinda see the ZIP code,
the schools, the appreciation in the area.
It'll show you some graphs on how real estate
has been trending in that particular area,
and it will also show you the purchase history.
Now, if you don't get the purchase history from there,
because sometimes it's not available,
what you can do is you can go
to your county appraisal district, tax appraisal district,
or the properties and records website
for your particular county to try to find out
what the seller paid before they sold you the home.
The next thing you're gonna do is
you're gonna take that price, assuming you can find it,
or get a very good estimate of it,
and you're gonna take the difference
between that and what you're going to pay for the home
or what the home is listed at.
This is going to give you the change in value
over the specified period of time.
Let me give you an example.
Let's say that a seller paid $200,000
for the home that you are looking at
and that was 10 years ago.
Let's say it was in 2009.
And the house is now listed,
and you're considering on purchasing it for $300,000, right?
So that $100,000 difference from where they paid it
to what you're gonna pay for the house,
$100,000 divided by 10 years would give you $10,000,
so that's what that house is appreciating at on average,
and that's a pretty good rate for,
depending on the area you're in.
Now, different parts of the country are gonna be different.
That's why the very first step,
I had you look up and Zillow to give to you an idea
of some of the trends of the real estate
in that particular part of the city,
or the country, or wherever you're gonna live.
I live in DFW.
I live south of DFW, 30 miles of the metroplex,
so the real estate there is different
than 30 miles north of the metroplex.
So you're gonna have to do a little bit of that research,
and that's where you may wanna involve
a real estate professional just
if you're gonna start to make
some really, really hard decisions on,
yes, I'm gonna live here,
or yes, this is my budget,
and you start to get to the bank
and they approve you for a certain loan.
By that time, you'll wanna get the advice of a professional.
There you go, a very quick way to have
somewhat of a benchmark or a gauge
for the investment you're about to make,
whether you're a first-time home buyer
or this is your second, or third,
or fourth property that you're buying,
just to have some back-of-the-envelope math
to go into that negotiation with so that you can know
if you're paying the right price or not.
Hopefully, you enjoyed this episode of Office Hours.
I would love to hear from you.
Leave me a question or a comment below.
I'll get to those as I can.
Thank you for watching
and consider subscribing to the channel.
Thanks, buh-bye.

Add Depth To Photos Using Trash as a Light Modifier: Exploring Photography with Mark Wallace - Duration: 8:01.Hi everybody.
Welcome to another episode
of Exploring Photography right here on AdoramaTV.
I'm Mark Wallace in Madrid,
Spain in tactic studios, and today I'm
going to first start with a very basic
lighting setup with an exceptional model,
her name is Anabel.
Come on out and
Anabel speaks zero english and I no
hablo espanol at all...
and so this is going to be exciting.
Thank you for google translate!
so what we're gonna do
is we're going to begin with a very, very
basic lighting set up, an umbrella that's
it, but i want to spice things up a
little bit using basura...
which is Spanish for trash!
That's right!
I have literally taken some trash out of
a trash can, and just chopped the bottom
out of this translucent bowl.
I guess we're gonna use this as an
unusual light modifier to spice things up, to change
things from good, to a little bit better.
So without further ado... let's get started right now.
All right... well we have our
umbrella set up.
This is gonna give us a
nice soft light.
It's gonna give us images that aren't bad
but they're just sort of boring, and so we
need to build a foundation with this sort of
boring setup. So it's just a single umbrella, a
beautiful model, and now I want to meter
this, so I'm gonna give my little meter
here to Anabel, and then she's just
gonna hold that under her chin. I'm gonna
trigger this using my Propfoto remote.
So I'll click that, and that meter
is at exactly at f/2.8,
that's exactly what I want, I want a nice
shallow depth of field.
So that later on when I'm using my
trash, it's out of focus, but let's start
with just our normal lighting setup.
Just so you can see how that looks,
well that is a pretty good lighting
setup. If you have a fantastic model,
which Anabel is, and so that is gonna
work nine times out of ten.
But I want to spruce things up just a little bit to
get some unusual effects.
I don't want my images to look just like
everybody else's.
What I'm going to do that ... well my
secret weapon...
and that is this.... it's a piece of trash!
So all I did is, I took this little ball
here, and I cut the bottom out, and so
then I can put that in front of my lens.
And it's going to create some
interesting effects. Now the key to this
is I have metered at f/2.8, which means
that when I put this in front of my lens,
it's gonna fall out of focus, and it's
not gonna be a piece of trash, it's just
gonna be some specular highlights, but
this has no color, it's just translucent.
I want to add some color to this.
So let me make some changes, and walk through
exactly how this works. So let me just
set things up really quickly, and then
we'll fine-tune things. So I have a
secret weapon and that is this light
right over here, now you've seen me... that's
a little bit heavy.... you've seen me throw
a light into a lens to get lens flare a
million times, but that is not what we're
doing here. What this light is doing, it's
got a blue gel on it.
I could put a blue gel, or a red gel, or a
green gel, or whatever I want, and that
color is going to be hitting my little
piece of trash. So that's gonna be
hitting the piece of trash, and the
highlights of that are gonna change to
whatever color this gel is. So you can
use any kind of light, a speed light a
fancy Profoto light. It doesn't matter,
just need something to throw some color
onto this piece of trash. Anabel is in
place, and our lighting setup is very
simple, we have a Profoto medium sized
umbrella, it's giving us a nice soft
light, but the key to this is this light
right here. That's got a blue gel you can
use red or pink or whatever you want, to
put some highlights on a piece of trash,
and then that piece of trash needs to be
translucent, and you place that right in
front of your lens, and move it about to
get different effects as you're shooting
your model. So as Annabelle is moving
around, I'll be doing this, and then based
on how much I move
I will get different effects inside of
my lens and on the exposure, and because
I'm using a really shallow
depth-of-field.
It will just show up as a blob.
We have to do a bit of post-production
to bring out all the goodness that our
cameras captured. All the details that
are in these files, and so what I'm going
to do here is use the develop module in
Adobe Lightroom, or you can use Adobe
Camera Raw in Photoshop.
Either way this will work the same in both
cases, so we're going to be playing with
our our radial filters.
So again in the develop module...
zip over to your radial filter...
we're going to apply two of these guys.
So I'm going to click on the radial
filter, and the first thing I want to do
is change the exposure. So I'm going to
click the effect.. choose 'exposure' and
then I'm going to set that exposure to
negative 1. So you can play with this on
your files, but online about negative 1
works pretty well. I don't want to change
the exposure on Anabel's face,
so what I'm going to do here is...
I'm going to click right on her face and
then drag outwards, and you can see I'm
leaving her face alone.
I'm just changing the
exposure on the outside of this filter,
on the outside of this circle. So it's
darkening the edges, but it's leaving her
face alone.
I can click and drag this around,
just to make sure I don't change
the exposure too much on her hand,
and her hair etc. Just the outside edges of
this. It's sort of like a vignette but
it's specific to the entire image, except
her face, I want to do that again, except
for this time, I want to add some more
saturation. Again I don't want to change
the saturation on her face to make her
skin look weird. I just want to really
saturate these colors that we captured
in the camera. So I'm going to zip over
here. I'm going to click on new, and then
the effect here is saturation. So I will
click on saturation, and I want my
saturation to really be saturated. So I'm
going to take that up to around 70, and
then again I'm going to click on
Anabel's face and drag outwards.
So I'm going to go way out here, about like
that I'm gonna drag this down just a
little bit, again I'm keeping the
saturation on her face.
The same but I'm really saturating these
colors outside of that. So we can see all
that stuff, that was in the reflection of that
little piece of trash. All right our two
radio filters are finished, I'm going to
click close a couple of the things that
I want to do here.
I am going to add a vignette,
so I'm just gonna add a very small
vignette... something about negative
20. Something around there...
and this is going to add a nice burn around the
edges, and you can see that's really
pulling some stuff out, and then to give
this a little bit more filmic look.
I'm going to add just a touch of grain so
I'm going to bring that up to about 16, 17,
the size you can play with. I'm gonna
leave that to 20, 21,
then the roughness about 15, that's all
there is to it.
I'm going to hit the Y shortcut key, and
you can see the before and after, just a
couple of radial filters, a vignette, and
some grain really makes a difference to
our image. So let me show you how the
rest of these images look.
Well thank you so much for joining us
for this episode of Exploring Photography,
where we took this piece of
trash and made it into an interesting
light modifier, but I think our results
had something to do with our fantastic
model Anabel, and you can find her on
Instagram at @anabelladb...
Perfecto... and I put that right here so you can see
exactly how to get her Instagram feed,
It's really pretty spectacular...

Good News and True News - Duration: 2:31.so what is the good news what what is this gospel Paul and another local body one had
to clarify it inside of first Corinthians let me just read this passage to you because
this is what I needed to have clarified and really this is what we can be unashamed of
now brothers I want to remind you of the the gospel I preached to you which you received
and on which you have taken your stand by this gospel you are saved if you hold firmly
to the word I preached you otherwise you'll you'll have believed in vain and then he says
well what I received I pass on to you of first importance that what Christ died for our sins
yes and so the gospel is there is a God with whom we have to do and you and I are separated
and distant from him we can't know him we can't earn our way we can't earn a hearing
before him I can't earn my way into into a heaven or whatever that might look like I
can't get there I'm separated why because of my ego because of I've gone my own way
it's not that I've done everything wrong but God's God's standard is a holy he's a holy
God he's a powerful God he's a holy God and because I can't earn my way I'm separated
and he won't say aw shucks come on in anyhow it's just not his standard courts and the
law can't do that courts in the world can't do that they know they can't do that where
did they get there well that's God he's holy he's just separate that Christ died for our
sins according to the scripture that's why they call it good news right because he did
something about this separation problem he gave his life for me so that I can have a
relationship with God it's good news and it's true news Christ died for our sins according
to scriptures that he was buried that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures
and this book verified it the authors wrote it over and over again we saw him we were
there we saw him again he was raised from the dead that's the gospel that's good news
and it's true news

Bullet Journal | February 2019 - Duration: 2:50.Hello everyone! In today's video, I will be sharing the layout and setup I've
done for my bullet journal for the month of February. My cover page features
the name of the month written in a calligraphy style. I added in the
birdhouses above the title with the intention of using some stickers I have
from EllieBeth Designs but I left them in England when I came back to Spain. I
might add them later on when I'm back in the UK. To balance out the page I added
the branch and leaves underneath. I wanted to make the page vibrant, so I
coloured in the leaves in some nice green shades, and made the birdhouses as
colorful as possible. In the top corner of my 'Goals' page I wrote the title and
carried through the branches from the previous page. For some reason, they look
a lot worse on this page than on the cover page; I don't really know what I
did wrong! The bird houses act as bullet points for my three goals this month.
This month my goals are to be able to hold a plank for two minutes without
stopping; to restart running and reach week four of the NHS 'Couch to 5k' podcast;
and to start drinking protein shakes to add to the building of my muscles. All of
my goals this month are related to fitness and strength, which was actually
an accident, but I like that my goals this month have a theme! My habit
trackers are laid out in my typical way: just my boxes that I fill in on the days
that I do it. I've recently started tracking fewer habits, so that I can pay
more attention to the ones that I've chosen. I find that when I have loads I
forget what they are throughout the day, and it just doesn't work for me to track
hundreds of habits. This month the habits that I want to track are journaling,
practicing my singing, doing stretching and flexibility
exercises, and doing strengthening exercises as well. This month I have a
couple of dates that are significant, so I wanted to do a calendar page so
I could indicate where these dates are in the month, and also so I could mark in
ongoing dates such as my reading week (which is my half term from
university), and my friend's visit to Sitges as well. Again, I've tried to add
a bit of color and connect it to the rest of the setup
with the branches under the title. This
month, I've decided to do a running spread, which means that instead of
laying out the boxes and spaces each day in advance, I just write the next day's
to do list underneath the previous one. This means that I can take as much space
as I need, so nothing feels cramped, and it also means that if I don't have a
long list, or I don't end up using my bullet journal that day, I'm not wasting
space in the book with boxes that I'm not using. If you find that your weekly
spreads are actually wasting a bit of space, this sort of layout can be a
really good idea. I hope that you've enjoyed this video and found it a useful
source of inspiration for your own bullet journal spreads. If you did like
it, please be sure to give the video a 'like', and if you've got anything to say
then please leave a comment! To see more of my content, please subscribe and hit
the little bell icon so you receive post notifications. Other than that, thank
you so much for watching, and goodbye!

🛌 Why I Don't Sleep On A Bed #TheNORoutine 36 ★ #TheDay1Journey Ep. 106★ - Duration: 12:49.yes we're alive how did you sleep last night
did you sleep well on your comfortable bed
did you enjoy it well in today's episode
I will share with you why I don't really sleep
on a bed yes I'm serious more about that just
after the amazing panoramic intro
welcome to the day one journey
episode 106 chi-ching yeah
so in this episode I will share with you why
I don't really sleep on a bed I'll tell you my personal
experience about that and what led me not to
sleep on a bed so let's jump right into that
and afterwards we'll make the connection to
the NO routine remember this episode
it is still part of the NO routine series
however let's dive right into the story
two years ago 2016 September I moved to
Thailand so just when I entered the first apartment
I knew I was going to rent there was a very big bed
I think it was a king-size bed but all I cared was having
the space having the space for me to practice my dancing
skills and my dancing routines that I discuss in another channel
Marcus body coding I also shared a story about this
here in the day one journey so you can check I think
episode 20 I put the link either way I was there
and I wanted the place so it took me a week or so
to understand that I can put the bed outside the apartment
and just use the mattress and when I have just
the mattress when I want the extra space I can just
put the mattress against the wall and then I get much much
more space to practice my dancing routines so this is what I was doing
so after one week only in Bangkok I wasn't really...
so after just one week in Bangkok I wasn't really sleeping on a bed
but I was sleeping on a mattress yeah so that went on for pretty
long time at least a year and then it was pretty hot then
in Bangkok I think it was April or May very hot very humid
I wasn't sleeping there with an aircon and then I read a little bit
in the internet and I realized that if I will sleep on the floor
it will be much much nicer for me with the humidity and temperature
so I just put my yoga mattress and after a while just a blanket
and I was sleeping on the floor obviously it was harder harder
than the mattress but I think for after 5 4 days I got used to that
and it was much much much better with the
temperature it was a little bit colder so it was easier for me
to sleep to fall asleep the sleep was a little bit better
so that was a win for me afterwards and remember
this is the NO routine series I felt the freedom yes the freedom
I thought to myself I can sleep anywhere
for example I visit a certain city and I have a friend
and I call them and I need a place to sleep over
they might say I don't have a bed for you
then I can say I don't need a bed this is true freedom
this is feeling liberated feeling liberated for something
that it is so basic yes so this is part of the NO routine
I remind you the NO routine is about cutting the stuff
the not so much important stuff to make room to make space
for the stuff that are really important for us
yeah so for me it is more important
for me the space in the apartment then the comfortable bed
the comfortable bed is still comfortable
but it's about a game of priorities what's more important
for you so for me I wanted the space and
I wanted the freedom and I want to add some
personal note on that when I thought about freedom
I thought about my children and the people know me
know that my children weren't born yet
but that doesn't stop me from talking to them yes
so children I'm talking to you when I thought about that
freedom that liberation I have from needing a bed to sleep
I thought about you when you will you be babies
and you'll wake up at night and I will come to check up
on you I have no problem putting my head just next to you
on the floor and have a good night of sleep
keep on checking on you through the night
and still waking up in the morning fully energized because my body
and I'm conditioned to be sleeping also on the floor
I have no problem with it so I thought also about you
regarding that freedom and liberation
either way this is not Bangkok it's really cold here this is zero
Celsius degrees here in Iceland so what did I do here
I came here I had a bed here in my apartment here
my friend's apartment but you know what
I'll just show it to you what do you say
so stay with me for Part B
this is Part B yes of the day one journey
episode 106 as I promised I'll show you how it looks at
here in Iceland yeah with the bed thing
let's go downstairs this house is my friend's house
I'm staying for several months this is the door and he got me
the basement 2 rooms there let's go there and see what
is up let's go let's go careful with the steps
they are pretty small yeah he gave me
two rooms yeah one and the second one
we'll stop by it a little bit later let's go to the first room
yeah so this is the room it was originally...
let's do a 360 here it was originally a guest house
but wait where's the bed where's the bed
it was just here see this is the head
of the bed and the bed was just here
but where is it of course I have it
I put it in the other room let's see the bed is there
let's go this is the other room there's two beds one
the original one then the bed from the
other room insane yeah so my friend helped me
to put a bed on top of the bed so I have
my small minimalistic bed the bed that I wanted
but where is it can you see it
what is this yeah that's the bed
amazing not too much space right remember it was
for the space so let's put it down
yeah that's the bed takes a lot of space I know
and of course I have here my pillow and blanket
still it's pretty cold so why I'm telling you this
I remind you yeah back in Bangkok
let's sit on the bed pretty easily yeah let's sit on
the bed you see the bed this is the bed so
as I was telling you originally in Thailand
I chose to sleep on the bed (floor)
because it was too hot and the floor was cold
that was nice but also here I decided
to do that and I remind you I do that for 2 main reasons
2 main reasons why I get the space
I get the space to do what I really want to do
I wake up in the morning I put the yoga mattress aside
and then I do what I want which is dance practice
and all the other things I want the space for
yeah and I get the freedom I get the freedom I can sleep
anywhere I want cuz I can sleep on the
floor or any surface or... any surface that I can
imagine this is the freedom but what did I do the first night
yeah the first night what did I do
I came here after more than about 20 hours flight
20 hours flight I came after 20 hours of
flight and then I came to this room I saw the bed
it looked at me I looked at her and more about that
in tomorrow episode because we are really really
really out of time but back to you
I have an interesting assignment for you as we do every day
a question for you think about something that
you have like I have this bed yeah stuff that you own
that you don't really want to own you don't really want
to have raise the level of awareness
and think about stuff that we have that you have
that you don't really care about and if you second thought about
that maybe you will just cut off from your life
maybe it's the bed maybe it's just the
frame of the bed maybe just something fancy
if you remember that episode a few episodes ago
I'll put a link either way this is my
assignment for you for the day think about things that
you own that you have that you don't really want to have
you might have 1 or 2 donate them give them
do something with them and get the extra space
energy room to do the other stuff that you want
because this what's the NO routine is about
so in tomorrow's episode I'll tell you what I did after
the first night here I came I saw the bed
what did I do more about that tomorrow
but til tomorrow of course have an amazing
amazing day one

Liverpool news: Glen Johnson reveals the ONE player that can fire Liverpool to the title - Duration: 2:45.Liverpool signed Glen Johnson from Portsmouth in 2009 and the defender went on the play 200 games for the Reds in all competitions
The ex-England international was part of the Liverpool side that came within two points of the Premier League title in 2013/14
And Johnson, 34, believes that one player can give his former side the boost they need to win the title - but it's not Virgil van Dijk or Mohamed Salah
"Van Dijk will obviously be a massive player for them, but I personally think Mane," Johnson told talkSPORT
"If he's on top of his game, he's such an explosive player he can pop in a goal from nowhere
"As long as they are on the top of their game, Liverpool will be right in there." Liverpool had the chance to go ten points clear at the top in January, but a chequered run of form has followed a 2-1 defeat at the Etihad last month
Despite the reigning champions now drawing level at the top, Johnson believes his former side will go on to lift their first Premier League title in May
He said: "I think Liverpool will win it. "City and Liverpool with both drop points, but I just think Liverpool's squad is capable is taking this a step further
"I know they've had a couple of not so great results recently, but that's just the Premier League
"You can't always perform at your best and they will bounce back. "I'm quietly confident they'll go on and do it
" Liverpool face Bournemouth on Saturday before facing difficult tests against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Manchester United domestically
Johnson is aware of the momentum that City have after recent wins, but hopes his former side have enough to pip them
He said: "Of course Manchester City pose a massive threat, and so are Tottenham, but my gut tells me Liverpool will win it
