Hey Bill.

My name's Ian and I'm a computer science student.

So the fields of machine learning and robotics have been making technological advances and

replacing human labor at a blinding speed.

And at this point it seems almost inevitable that virtually all jobs are going to be automated

in the future.

So my question is this: When and if machines replace our jobs, what should we spend our

lives accomplishing instead?

Is there some greater goal that we should aim toward?

Bill Nye: Machines are going to replace every job?

What about this job right here man?!

What about that, I'm thinking!

What about that man?

So I think there will still be a great many jobs that require human involvement.

After all, why have humans build machines if there isn't something humans want to

do?

Like play baseball or argue about what machines are going to do.

So I claim that there's a lot of jobs that we would all prefer machines do.

I don't know if you've ever made pancake batter mixing it by hand; It's okay.

Cake batter, mixing it by hand; It's okay.

But it's easier to do it with an electric mixer.

I don't know if you've gotten up every morning and adjusted the thermostat in your

apartment or house, and then when you leave for work or school you turn it back down.

And then when you come home you turn it back up, and then right before you go to bed you

turn it back down.

I don't know if you've done all that, but automating that seems to me cool and nice.

I don't know how much welding you've done of auto bodies.

It's a cool skill to develop but it's not one that really we all are going to need

in the future.

My grandfather went into World War I on a horse.

He was apparently a skilled enough horseback rider to live through it.

It's not a skill that most – I grew up driving a stick shift in a car.

I can drive a stick shift.

It's not a skill you need anymore.

I mean very seldom.

So it's okay man!

As jobs become automated humans will go do what humans want to do: Come up with new machines,

come up with new ideas, new techniques in mathematics that will simplify things even

more.

Make discoveries of life on another world.

And what I still love about movies and television and computer videos: it's still handmade.

I so love that.

The lights are put in by hand.

We make these decisions about what questions to take from you by hand (or by brain).

And I still love that.

So yes, we want to automate the world to the extent that is comfortable, but no more.

We can do this man!

It's going to be great.

You go to the airport.

You get on the train between terminals you trust that it's going to drive you from

one place to another without crashing because engineers have been very diligent setting

it up.

The train figures how much people weigh and their luggage, provides the right amount of

electricity to accelerate and decelerate the train and we trust that.

That's good.

That doesn't mean we're not going to want to travel.

It's good.

That's a good question though.

listen to the music and that he made

that introduction okay now there was a

deal in place where aspire a jazz prince

would get a piece of the profits well

aspire did um sue cash money like a few

years ago and because they weren't

getting any of their money and Drake and

Birdman signed something exclusive deals

2013 that blocked a spire from getting

millions of dollars oh it's like it's a

real shady situation going on very

complex this is why a lot of people

don't like the music business because

there's so many slimy things that go on

so Birdman and slim have yet to pay out

any of the profits to aspire or jazz

print so jazz Prince is now launching a

lawsuit I think he has a percentage of a

spire music group now at the same time

so they're kind of joining forces in

going against cash money yeah I can't

believe there's so many problems like if

you don't realize at this point little

something is wrong with the way they do

their business practices you know we all

look up to Birdman slim for building an

empire but you know you got to do good

business at the same time you know so

there's no results in so far nobody's

getting any money out

the situation seems like they're kind of

hoarding the money you know I think

though so because he's done eight albums

at this point I think he's done with

this contract just not saying anything

about it probably wants to leave

peacefully and then move on to Apple

because he does have a deal with Apple

2005-2014 Mustang Raxiom Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror Display and Camera Review & Install - Duration: 2:51.

Hey everybody, Alex with americanmuscle.com.

Today I'm bringing you my review and detailed installation of Raxiom's 3.5-inch Auto-Dimming

Rear View Mirror with Backup Camera, fitting the 2005 through 2014 Mustangs without sync.

I will be giving it a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and

a two-hour job and I'm gonna have more for you coming up on that later.

So, there's a few things that can make it a little bit difficult backing up in your

Mustang that could range from the already somewhat smaller rearview window if you're

running tint on your car, or even for the owners out there that have a set a rear window

louvers.

So, this is gonna be a very cool convenience part which is going to make it that much easier

backing up in your Mustang, and it's something that I really think just should have come

on the '05 through '14s right out of the factory.

A couple really cool features that I like about this kit here first and foremost, this

is gonna have an auto-dimming function which can always be helpful in the event you've

got somebody with a lifted truck or a Jeep behind you, that's got their lights coming

right into your field of vision.

But, the main focal point here is gonna be the three-and-a-half inch color screen, which

is gonna be built right into the mirror that will feature the backup lines which is gonna

help you get out of wherever you need to get.

But in terms of the pricing guys, expect to be spending 400 bucks here which I know might

sound like it's a little bit on the higher side, but it's a small price to pay to incorporate

that modern convenience into your car.

And lastly, this is gonna be a kit that's going to be specifically made for your '05

through '14, that's going to come with absolutely everything including a very detailed set of

instructions.

And switching gears to that installation, like I had said earlier in the video, you're

looking at a very straightforward one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter.

But, expect to be spending about two hours worth of time to get this into your car.

But looking ahead, here are some things that I'd make sure to have on hand before you tackle

the installation guys is gonna be a Phillips head screwdriver, a T-20 Torx bit, a set of

pliers, and a little bit of patience.

So to start, what you' re gonna wanna do is remove your factory mirror, and you can do

that by essentially just taking a flathead screwdriver or anything with a hard edge and

then removing it from the base.

And you're gonna put your new Raxiom mirror in place, and then you'll need to do some

wiring up into your headliner and then down into your trim on your passenger side.

Run that into your trunk where you're then gonna be installing the camera.

Tie everything together and then you're good to go.

SHAVE OFF ANY TIME.

BLAGOJEVICH TRIED TO GET A

PARDON BY THE PRESIDENT BUT HE

DIDN'T ACT ON IT.

HE WANT ONCE APPEARED ON

MR. TRUMP'S SHOW AND HE DIDN'T

INDICATE WHETHER HE WOULD

ASSIST HIM IN GETTING OUT OF

PRISON.

WE HAVE ANY HOPES THAT TRUMP

MIGHT PARDON.

I HAVE NO IDEA.

THERE WAS LOTS OF TO DO

ABOUT OUR POSITION FOR COME

POLLUTE TUITIONATION.

MY FAMILY WOULD PREFER THAT WE

WIN IN APPELLATE COURT THAN GET

From ICU Nurse to Metalsmith: Forging a New Path in New York City - Duration: 3:28.

- You see this world in New York City,

and it just seems like Shangri-La.

It sparkles and glows, and it's just full

of this endless potential.

But also, you know, oh hi!

Whatcha doing?

I'm Desi Delong, I'm a metalsmith in New York City,

and this is my studio.

Metalsmithing became a passion for me

the second I struck hammer to anvil.

It's extremely important for me to have a vehicle

in this city.

It's a Subaru Impreza.

I use it to pick up equipment.

I drive every morning to my studio.

I also use it to travel to and from my shows

up and down the east coast that are 10 to 12 hour drives.

This car is just along for the ride,

and I've been on a pretty crazy ride the past six years.

The life I had before moving to New York,

I had a full-time job at Duke University

as a nurse in the ICU.

I had a beautiful little crossman home.

I had found that I was completely apathetic,

just passionless, and I wanted a change,

and I wanted something that felt foreign.

I wanted to be uncomfortable.

I wanted a challenge.

I realized I had to get back to my first love

which is making.

I didn't even really think about how difficult,

challenging, expensive, or hard it was going to be

to learn metalsmithing and make a living doing it.

All I thought about was just, do it.

I chose to move to New York City

because I wanted to see what living in a city would do

to my work.

I love driving to galleries that have my work

so that I can see how they put it on display.

What I have in common with Subaru is creating

a quality product that you can rely on

that's going to work and it's going to serve its purpose.

I don't wanna put anything out in the world

unless I'm absolutely passionate about it.

My past experience as a nurse is intimacy

with body and form really influences the pieces that I make,

because I think about these pieces

and how are they going to drape on the body.

My knowledge of anatomy and physicality,

that's what really influences the designs.

I've had a life that's practical and stable and safe,

and now I've had a life that's unstable and risky.

After experiencing both versions of life,

I can't really do anything now

unless I'm absolutely completely engaged.

Mike Pence Tells Americans He "Will Not Rest" Until… - Duration: 1:18.

The Trump administration is not backing down from North Korea.

On Tuesday, while visiting Japan, Vice President Mike Pence made it clear that the U.S. will

not concede any pressure until it achieves its objective of creating a Korean Peninsula

without nuclear weapons.

The Daily Mail reports:

After meetings with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other leaders, Pence told reporters

that President Donald Trump was confident that economic and diplomatic pressure has

a chance of compelling North Korea to cooperate.

'It is our belief by bringing together the family of nations with diplomatic and economic

pressure we have a chance of achieving a freeze on the Korean Peninsula,' Pence said.

"We will not rest and will not relent until we obtain the objective of a denuclearized

Korean Peninsula," he said.

On Monday, Pence traveled to the tense Demilitarized Zone dividing North and South Korea, where

he warned North Korea's leaders that after years of testing the U.S. and South Korea

with its nuclear ambitions, 'the era of strategic patience is over.'

complicated situation so Drake was once

Wayne to Drake you know he he had him

listen to the music and that he made

that introduction okay now there was a

deal in place where aspire a jazz prince

would get a piece of the profits well

aspire did um sue cash money like a few

years ago and because they weren't

getting any of their money and Drake and

Birdman signed something exclusive deals

2013 that blocked a spire from getting

millions of dollars oh it's like it's a

real shady situation going on very

complex this is why a lot of people

don't like the music business because

there's so many slimy things that go on

so Birdman and slim have yet to pay out

any of the profits to aspire or jazz

print so jazz Prince is now launching a

lawsuit I think he has a percentage of a

spire music group now at the same time

so they're kind of joining forces in

going against cash money yeah I can't

believe there's so many problems like if

you don't realize at this point little

Wayne suing Cash Money aspire producers

something is wrong with the way they do

their business practices you know we all

look up to Birdman slim for building an

empire but you know you got to do good

business at the same time you know so

there's no results in so far nobody's

getting any money out

the situation seems like they're kind of

hoarding the money you know I think

Drake is done with his cash money deal

though so because he's done eight albums

at this point I think he's done with

this contract just not saying anything

about it probably wants to leave

peacefully and then move on to Apple

because he does have a deal with Apple

My name's Ian and I'm a computer science student.

So the fields of machine learning and robotics have been making technological advances and

replacing human labor at a blinding speed.

And at this point it seems almost inevitable that virtually all jobs are going to be automated

in the future.

So my question is this: When and if machines replace our jobs, what should we spend our

lives accomplishing instead?

Is there some greater goal that we should aim toward?

What about this job right here man?!

What about that, I'm thinking!

What about that man?

So I think there will still be a great many jobs that require human involvement.

After all, why have humans build machines if there isn't something humans want to

do?

Like play baseball or argue about what machines are going to do.

So I claim that there's a lot of jobs that we would all prefer machines do.

I don't know if you've ever made pancake batter mixing it by hand; It's okay.

Cake batter, mixing it by hand; It's okay.

But it's easier to do it with an electric mixer.

I don't know if you've gotten up every morning and adjusted the thermostat in your

apartment or house, and then when you leave for work or school you turn it back down.

And then when you come home you turn it back up, and then right before you go to bed you

turn it back down.

I don't know if you've done all that, but automating that seems to me cool and nice.

I don't know how much welding you've done of auto bodies.

It's a cool skill to develop but it's not one that really we all are going to need

in the future.

My grandfather went into World War I on a horse.

He was apparently a skilled enough horseback rider to live through it.

It's not a skill that most – I grew up driving a stick shift in a car.

I can drive a stick shift.

It's not a skill you need anymore.

I mean very seldom.

So it's okay man!

As jobs become automated humans will go do what humans want to do: Come up with new machines,

come up with new ideas, new techniques in mathematics that will simplify things even

more.

Make discoveries of life on another world.

And what I still love about movies and television and computer videos: it's still handmade.

I so love that.

The lights are put in by hand.

We make these decisions about what questions to take from you by hand (or by brain).

And I still love that.

So yes, we want to automate the world to the extent that is comfortable, but no more.

We can do this man!

It's going to be great.

You go to the airport.

You get on the train between terminals you trust that it's going to drive you from

one place to another without crashing because engineers have been very diligent setting

it up.

The train figures how much people weigh and their luggage, provides the right amount of

electricity to accelerate and decelerate the train and we trust that.

That's good.

That doesn't mean we're not going to want to travel.

It's good.

That's a good question though.

Mike Pence Tells Americans He "Will Not Rest" Until… - Duration: 1:18.

The Trump administration is not backing down from North Korea.

On Tuesday, while visiting Japan, Vice President Mike Pence made it clear that the U.S. will

not concede any pressure until it achieves its objective of creating a Korean Peninsula

without nuclear weapons.

The Daily Mail reports:

After meetings with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other leaders, Pence told reporters

that President Donald Trump was confident that economic and diplomatic pressure has

a chance of compelling North Korea to cooperate.

'It is our belief by bringing together the family of nations with diplomatic and economic

pressure we have a chance of achieving a freeze on the Korean Peninsula,' Pence said.

"We will not rest and will not relent until we obtain the objective of a denuclearized

Korean Peninsula," he said.

On Monday, Pence traveled to the tense Demilitarized Zone dividing North and South Korea, where

he warned North Korea's leaders that after years of testing the U.S. and South Korea

with its nuclear ambitions, 'the era of strategic patience is over.'

Sugar Made Simple PART 2 - Duration: 2:58.

Hi I'm Rue Asher Hypnotherapist and Coach in

Sussex specializing in weight loss and

weight control and today I'm going to

continue talking about sugar. So Sugar

Made Simple. Last time I talked about the

history of sugar in our diet and

in this episode I'm going to talk about

what happens in your body when you

actually eat sugar. So how is sugar

metabolized by our bodies? When we

eat carbohydrate containing foods such as

pasta, bread, rice, starchy vegetables,

cakes, fruit and any foods containing

refined sugar, our body digests it and

turns it into a substance called glucose,

This glucose then circulates around in our

bloodstream. Glucose is

actually our main source of fuel and is

essential to the brain

for healthy functioning. But the ideal

amount of glucose in our bloodstream at

one time is between 1 and 2 teaspoons no

more. Insulin is a hormone produced by

the pancreas and its job is to clear the

blood of this excess glucose,

distribute it and store it in places

such as our liver or our muscles so that

we can use it later on for energy.

However if there's too much glucose in

the bloodstream - over 2 teaspoons or if

these stores become full then any excess

is moved to the cells and stored as fat

and the other bad news is that long-term

high levels of glucose sloshing

around in our bloodstream can result in

insulin resistance - this is where the

pancreas can't cope anymore and insulin

no longer provides an effective clearing

job. This can eventually lead to type

2 diabetes, a very nasty disease indeed.

However going below one teaspoon can

result in feeling tired, low mood and a

lack of concentration - that 3 pm in the

afternoon energy dip that we sometimes

get. We then have the desire to consume

fast energy releasing sugary foods

or snacks that pick us back up. But

eating more sugar is only a short term

answer that only exacerbates the problem,

resulting in the cycle repeating itself

over again and storing the

excess glucose is fat. Do you get a

dip in energy about 3 p.m. every day?
