Youtube daily report Jul 18 2017

My name is Jacksepticeye and welcome to a small short little game called we become what we behold

According to this the play time all of it is only five minutes, but it intrigued me because it says down here

It's a game about new cycles Vicious cycles and infinite cycles, so I don't know what that means

I think it's just you know this is cool

The mouse actually repeats turn here. That's a neat effect. I think it's a game kind of showcasing the

The new cycles and how barbaric they can be over because here it says warning the following program contains

Scenes of Snobbery Rudeness and Mass murder viewer discretion is advised

But because normally when I go to the h dot io website to look for games I go to the popular tigra

I've never gone to the top-rated one and this is one of the top rated ones on it

So it really intrigued me

I want to see what it's like

But yeah B-boy is only five minutes long for all you people out there as it seems to think that longer videos means better

you've been warned I

Like that we become what we behold. We shape our tools, and they're our tools shape us

Marshall McLuhan

Miss attributed

Okay, Point-And-Click

Hello first like just a normal peep

Crickets, okay, good wait. Did I get the cricket little quickie

Those are three crickets wait if I keep

For keep taking pictures of the crickets okay, that's too many crickets I

System repeat again, okay does the guy going around with a hat? Maybe you should take a picture of him? Oh, haha. Hello

Miss you

oh

Nice hat oh

Now everybody is wearing hats so everyone, so it's a thing got to do with the news

Let's take a picture of them in a second, so I

take a picture of something it goes up onto the news that the one guy who is

Difference ended up on the news and then everybody else thought and it's like wait that's different

We need to be like that. I get it. That's clever look at these lovebirds

Gross go get a rope. Oh no. They're embarrassed

You see what happens you do something you

Fucking Jesus christ you do something and it's normal to you, but everybody else is weird

And then they take a video of it and it ends up on the news

Who the fuck is this is this jacksepticeye Gonna run yelling at people?

No more yelling for you. You got to catch them doing something interesting, okay?

So I have to catch him in the yell, okay come on

Yeah, that's the one

Got him got them crazed squared attacks. Oh

He's all sad now

Man, because that is what can happen?

Is that people see something on the news and then it repeats or it can make people feel bad?

Serco Fear square, this is an analogy for racism

square snow circles oh no

Well the surface getting angry

Who's this who shoots in to watch people get along see that's not newsworthy

people getting along is not newsworthy you have to find someone who's

Outraged you have to find their tragedy you got to catch them doing something interesting, okay, I will

He's about to have murder someone in a second I can tell

What are you doing?

Circles hate squares oh oh, they're all angry now

circulation

Okay, they're not that bad anymore. They're everyone's yelling at each other

Are we just are we just spreading to cycle around or more and more people going to get into it?

These people are protesting

Peace is boring violence. Goes viral sadly. Yes

It's weird though because violence cause wire until it goes so viral

That the peace thing is the one that goes viral and then it all just repeats again it all just goes around again

but it

Just missed it, Mr.. Opportunity means we need that virality

Almost everyone hates everyone let's keep it going let's keep this hate train rolling

Then everyone hates everyone some of these people are still love each other

everyone hates every

Clone eat all these people appear our night and in person is nice

Manitoba's back acting cool. No more haven't you heard that clever

Okay, everyone hates everyone we knew that

oh

What the heck?

Be scared we hangry

Freaking the fuck out man everyone killing each other oh good

Where's the Park?

Say great oh

My God they took a very fucking dare turn very quickly. Oh

It soon dell. We're watching it in a laptop

What the fuck you?

Well, then holy shit

Though it's five minutes of mind-bending awesome. They were so cool

Holy shit. I can't believe you got so much other that with so little and

Last but not least. Thank you for playing. Oh, oh you

And then people hold a vigil and the cycle repeats

That's fuckin awesome

so the whole point of it, oh

point of it was

It's a play on the media and what happens around certain events. Is that everything sets off normal

It's just like oh, just a normal person walking down the hall

But as soon as someone is different the media Shines a light on it

And then everybody else who doesn't have that thing?

Feels like they're left out so everyone ends up doing it everyone gets their hat and then everyone fits in

and then

You're going along and just there's just a couple loving each other

But then somebody finds something wrong with it and change the light on it

And then they feel insecure somebody goes around yelling at someone

But the real one that God they got everything going was that

Everyone was getting along normally everyone was fine. Everyone was good

But it's when the media tells you that there's something wrong with that that you started questioning it so they started being like hey

You're a circle

Have you seen those squares?

and then two squares

get any light shone on them and they feel bad so then they end up hating the circles for hating them first and then of

Course that's analogous to racism or Sexism or anything like that anything were so many different religious beliefs as well

it's all compounded people start hating each other this whirlwind of hate goes around and

Then it's because the media keeps shining a light on it

Then all of a sudden violence breaks out and we've seen that happen time and again over the last couple of years with

With terrorist attacks where you have people?

They see a certain religious group, and then they're like. Oh, no, they created a terrorist attack

I don't like them, but it's like it's a small fringe of that religious group that

Have different beliefs and extremist beliefs

That cause this stuff, but people don't see that people see what the media shows them

So then everyone ends up hating the entire religion or the entire race or the entire nationality whatever. Have you?

So that was really well done

And again for such a five-minute short little piece. It did it so well

that was cool cool and horrifying at the same time the fact that

Something so ridiculous is actually like a real thing that happens

It's weird

See my other words. Have you made other games?

Wow, you have this is called parable of the polygon the playable post on the shape of Society Drag

And drop unhappy polygons, so it's like a puzzle thing

got to do with moving people around until they're in their happiest Space I

Get it that's kind of neat this guy's indifferent though. He's not happy. He's just everybody else is smiling. He's just like

This is fine. This is okay

Okay, can move you over there, and then move you up here

Boom I did it that's cute

So this is another play on humanity again. I'm not going to do all this

I just want to see what their other stuff was like

So this is like

It supposed to be a play on like not being happy with your neighbors and moving and all that kind of stuff. I like this

These people have a play on society. I like that. I like what you're doing

I I might check out some other some of the other stuff in a different video, but for now

Thank you guys so much watching this one if you liked it punch spelling with interface

later pause, and I both rope

Thanks, I'll see you

Five-minute video game followed by five minutes of rambling that sounds like our jack

It's based on Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse which was a monumentally awesome game

I was a little bit nervous because I'm a huge Castlevania fan but it's really good.

It got renewed for a second season so eight more episodes are on the way.

It is for mature audiences so there's swearing and graphic violence.

If you're not allowed to watch things with those things then please don't check it

out.

But if you are and it's okay then watch the Castlevania show on netflix.

If you already have watched it let me know what you think.

But the more we support stuff like this the more stuff like that will get made.

So check out Castlevania and as always, thanks for watching.

Top 15 Cartoon Characters as Monsters - Duration: 19:22.

Dennis Carlsson is a Swedish artist who has an array of amazing art work, though he is

most popular for his monstrous cartoon characters, which he creates as digital paintings. Dennis

has the power to take a lovable character from our childhood and transform it into a

living fever dream. If you'd like to follow him, links will be provided in the description.

15. Pikachu From cosplay to painting, Pikachu is a common

pursuit for fans. Dennis shared his version of Pikachu in July 2016, when Pokemon Go was

at it's peak. Captioned "all this talk about pokemon go made me paint this", the

photo has over 11,000 likes and is perhaps one of his most popular cartoon creations.

The body of Pikachu is mostly the same as the original design, but his eyes are a glowing

green surrounded by dark shadows. His claws are longer and sharper than usual, and his

mouth is entirely different. Gaping open the entire length of his torso, his mouth exposes

several sets of sharp teeth and an intricate inner working that is either a very detailed

throat or some type of digestive system. As drool drips from his mouth, Pikachu faces

the audience in a stance that shows he's ready to pounce at any second.

14. Shrek

This giant lovable green ogre came to life on the big screen in 2001. As everyone knows,

princess Fiona is also an ogre and manages to crack open Shrek's sweet side. Though

ogres are usually depicted as monsters that eat ear wax, that somehow doesn't come close

to the portrayal that Dennis created. His version of Shrek, which was posted to his

instagram account in July 2016, has dark hollow eyes, a serious underbite which exposes yellow

teeth, giant arms which drag behind him, and a group of flies buzzing above his head. While

the Shrek created for the Dreamworks film franchise still looks rather friendly and

approachable, this brilliant recreation more accurately conveys how offsetting and nasty

a real ogre would be.

13. Hades The Disney film Hercules, released in 1997,

brings fans into the world of Greek mythology through the use of a story of romance and

heroism. While his character design was dark, it wasn't what you'd expect from the God

of the underworld. Of course, Disney had to play it safe for children coming to view the

movie. Dennis took on the character, and though he stayed close to the Disney depiction, he

managed to display Hades for what he truly is. In this photo, also posted in July 2016,

Hades still has hair made of blue flames, though they're more vibrant and expose his

bald head beneath their glow. Additionally, he has gray, wrinkled skin covered in liver

spots and exposed veins. His lips are thinner and his mouth exposes a set of sharp yellow

teeth. His eyes are still hollow with red and yellow coloring, but the shadows are dramatized

to make his stare less quirky and more soul crushing. Dennis truly had an eye for what

this dark deity needed.

12. Tigger A. A. Milne created Winnie the Pooh, Tigger,

Piglet and various other characters in 1926. Dennis has reimagined several characters from

the franchise including Pooh, Tigger and Piglet to name a few. First on this list though,

is Tigger. The character, obviously based off a Tiger; is charismatic, full of energy,

kind to all, and known for bouncing on his tail while singing catchy light-hearted songs.

Dennis, of course, took this fun character and added his own dark yet brilliant twist.

Tigger has four spider like eyes; wrinkled, red and inflamed skin; massive sharp claws;

and instead of his usual bouncy tail he has several curling tails which resemble tentacles.

Additionally, at the end of each tail is a red, swollen tip which exposes a sharp claw

like horn. The creation which takes characteristics from spiders, scorpions and general monsters,

also has a slightly grin as it looks upward adoringly. Even in this dark recreation, Tigger

is still full of love.

11. Eeyore Also from the world of Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore

is the grey, stuffed donkey. Poor Eeyore is always sad or gloomy. Though he is loved by

his friends, he's in a constant state of "poor me". In general that's pretty

dark for a cartoon character, but nevertheless he's a beloved member of the team. Over

the years he's become strangely popular compared to other characters. In September

2016, Dennis Carlsson posted his reimagined Eeyore. Despite these recreations being so

different from the original designs, and showing a more monstrous side of beloved characters,

Dennis clearly has a vast fan base that not only appreciates but loves his art. In this

photo, Eeyore is covered in giant bumps; has red bags under his droopy eyes; is tattered,

aged and worn all over; and has a huge split in his stomach which exposes an unpleasant

sight.

10. Tweety

This photo of Tweety was posted by Dennis in August 2016, and got over 10,000 likes.

The reimagined little canary is one of his most popular reimaginings. It's hard to

imagine this tiny helpless bird being turned into a disgusting monster, but Dennis proved

fans wrong by providing his signature transformation. In this depiction, Tweety has giant feet with

sharp claws; no feathers on his wings which expose bone and hint at mange; wide red eyes;

sharp teeth and an even sharper beak; and scraggly eyelashes as opposed to his usual

adorable ones. Even with all these features, you can still see the innocent Tweety somewhere

in the wreckage, which is a unique mark of Dennis Carlsson's work.

9. Leonardo The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a group

of 4 turtle brothers, which after being mutated were raised in the sewers and taught the art

of ninjutsu. In this artwork, Leonardo is designed as a vicious mutant thirsty for justice,

or with darker plans in mind. Dennis gave extreme detail to Leo's skin in this image,

which makes it look aged and moist. Leo's eyes are red and intensify his harsh expression.

His mask is skin tight and appears to be tattered from the years past. This creation looks a

lot more like a sewer mutant that the original design, but it also makes Leo look less friendly

and silly.

8. Stitch Lilo and Stitch is an animated Disney film

in which a lonely young girl obtains an alien as a friend. In the film, and years after,

Stitch is known for being an adorable ball of fur with wide precious eyes and a silly

personality. In the depiction created by Dennis, he actually isn't much different. His ears

are covered with holes, and his smile shows a set of needle-like teeth covered in scarlet.

Overall, Stitch is still a small fluffy creature with adorable eyes. The fact that he's holding

a human leg, in which he has taken a bite of, does change the tone though. His long

claws grasp the detached leg as he stares forward at the audience.

7. Pooh Bear Pooh is a chubby little bear, always after

some delicious honey, who adventures through life with his friends. In July 2016, Dennis

shared a different side of Pooh in this digital painting. The little cuddle bear stares forward

with an intense expression; wrinkles surround his bright red eyes; his abnormally wide mouth

exposes sharp, yellow and detailed teeth; Poohs hand is covered in a red substance which

he pulled from a jar labeled "Hunny", clearly the substance dripping from his paw

is not your average honey. His signature red shirt is torn and dirty. In this creation

Pooh gives off a general vibe of "Stay away from me and whatever is in this jar". This

image is another of Dennis's most popular with nearly 11 thousand likes.

6. Minion

The minions made their debut in 2010 when the first Despicable Me film was released.

Most children are easily obsessed with the minions, and even some adults find them adorable.

So obviously, with such a widespread obsession, the minions are constantly being remastered

or edited in fan art. Dennis Carlsson gave it a shot in July 2016 with this truly monstrous

adaptation of a minion. Sporting a usual Minion uniform, and holding a banana, this little

guy doesn't look too bad at first. However, it doesn't take long to notice the coarse

skin, sharp teeth, glowing red eye, and distorted body proportions. Actually, this minion looks

much more like the servant to a villain than the original creations do.

5. Quasimodo

the Hunchback of Notre-Dam was written by Victor Hugo in 1831. The classic tale follows

of an outcast named Quasimodo with a hunchback that lives in a cathedral. Dennis created

a digital painting of Quasi which took nearly 3 hours. This appearance is even more unsettling

than the original. Quasi has speckled, wrinkled and acne prone skin. His eyes are red and

glazed over, as if from age. His severe overbite exposes sparse yellow and crooked teeth. Overall,

poor Quasi is a detailed and grotesque work of art. The strangely sad part is that despite

this even worse depiction, Quasi still has a gentle expression which makes you feel sorry

for him. Though Dennis has uploaded speed paintings of almost all of his work, this

video on Quasimodo is absolutely fascinating. Every little details in Quasi's skin is

shown in the footage, a link to the full video will be in the description.

4. Mickey Mouse

The first character from the mind of Walt Disney, first hit the screen in November 1928

and has since become the mascot for the Disney franchise. When it comes to fanart, Mickey

is a common character that is recreated in various ways. However, the way Dennis reimagined

this friendly mouse is unlike most. Mickey is usually a smiling, dancing, overall sporting

friend of all. In this creative remake, though, he is the exact opposite. He has sharp rotten

teeth, giant claws, wide open red eyes and bubbly rough skin. He also has a bite out

of one of his ears and his clothes and fur is tattered all over. Basically, this Mickey

looks as though he's ridden with mange or rabies and ready to hunt his beloved fans.

3. Sulley

The ironic thing about this artwork is that Dennis took a monster and made it even more

monstrous. Monsters Inc, is a 2001 Disney film and instant classic. Being a Disney movie,

the monster depictions are not bad at all. In fact, Sulley, who is the best monster in

the factory, is just a big fluffy teddy bear which even attracts the name "kitty".

Dennis knows the true form of a monster, and recreated Suelly in October 2016. In his masterpiece,

Sulley has long horns which slightly curl above his head. His eyes are glowing red,

he has a massive mouth with teeth all pulled together with a threatening expression and

growl. This monster is far from a kitty and really embodies what it means to be a monster.

2. Totoro

My Neighbor Totoro is one of the many masterful creations by Ghibli studios. Released in 1988,

the film follows two young girls as they adventure with the spirit of the forest, Totoro - a

large fluffy hamster like creature that can fly. The light-hearted plot and magical artwork

bring this film to life and has attracted fans for decades now. Of course, there's

been rumored lore that Totoro was actually the God of the afterlife which gave this film

a dark undertone for those that rewatched it after reading the rumors. With this unpleasant

story in mind, the transformation created by Dennis is even more off setting. In this

creation, Totoro has inflamed and infected skin in several places, including around his

eyes and on his lower body. His bright red eyes bulge out of his face, and his giant

teeth protrude out of his mouth. Like a rotten cherry on top, he also has what looks like

a boil near his belly, and strings of unidentified yellow goop stretching from the ground. This

speedpainting video is also another great one in the many uploads by Dennis Carlsson.

far. If you've ever been curious as to what I look like in real life, then follow me on

1. Spongebob

Everyone born after 1995 can probably scream this theme song at the top of their lungs.

Spongebob Squarepants, a living sponge that lives in a Pineapple under the sea, is the

absolutely epitome of innocence, ignorance, eagerness and kindness. In fact, Spongebob

is so kind and ignorant that he doesn't even know his neighbor loathes him. Through

silly adventures and subliminal life lessons, Spongebob has a special place in the heart

of many kids, teens and even adults. He has even marked his territory when it comes to

memes. It seems like every year there's a new spongebob meme that is better than the

last. And with such a simple character design, he's another great example for artists to

recreate. Dennis Carlsson probably wins the award for most upsetting Spongebob recreation

though. The artwork is a masterpiece, but seeing the beloved sponge in such a gross

state almost makes fans a little sad. Spongebob seems to be made of actual sea sponge, which

gives him a coarse body that is aesthetically unappealing. His large eyes are red and glazed

as they bulge out of his head toward the viewer. He basically doesn't have lips so his rotten

teen and raw gums are visible. To tie everything together, Spongebob has pink tentacles sprouting

out of his body in every location. Though Spongebob's innocence was completely ruined

in this creation, it's still a masterpiece that shows a unique and magnificent view of

a beloved character.

What books should they read?

And the answer is Mindset, by Carol Dweck.

And I have, if you go to ImpactTheory.com right now, you'll see Tom's reading list.

It's the 25 books I think anybody should read, in order.

Literally just pick up the first one then go to the second, and so on and so forth.

And if you read those books, with a willingness to be changed, like actually open yourself

up to that information totally changing the way that you think and approach the world,

by the time you have finished book 25, you will be a radically different human being.

Becoming an Agent: David Lewis' Perspective - Duration: 1:09.

And you don't always remember everything about Quantico 'cause it's a long process, but you

remember the first day.

For me the first day was a lot of anxiety, and the major reason being, again, I had spent

just under 10 years in the private sector.

Law enforcement and intelligence, you know, although I felt I had the skills to be able

to do it, I had absolutely no idea what it actually meant, you know.

So there's a lot of anxiety.

The other part of it is, you know, you're a grown up when you go to Quantico, it's not

like going to college where you're, you know, you're young and you're, you know, you're

getting dropped off at your dorm.

So the people you're coming there with have worked other places, have lived other places.

So, you know, there is some apprehension about, Alright, are you going to get along with people?

Like, you're bunking with somebody, I mean how many of us as grown ups share a room,

aside from with your spouse?

So, there's a lot of uncertainty, I think, with the people, but then there's also the

uncertainty of, you know, or even a general idea I'm going to be an agent.

But you don't have any idea what that really means.

Finn Balor Injured On WWE Raw! MAJOR Kurt Angle WWE Status Update! | WrestleTalk News July 2017 - Duration: 4:03.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News!

I'm Oli Davis, and I heard there was a secret chord, that David played and it pleased the

Lord, BUT THE DRIFTER DOESN'T CARE FOR MUSIC, DOES HE!?

Finn Balor Injured On Raw Finn Balor's match with Elias Samson ended

in disqualification last night when The Drifter smashed a guitar over The Demon King's head,

leading to a large gash on his skull.

Samson obviously meant to hit the much safer area of Balor's shoulder, but accidentally

struck part of Finn's head too.

Foreign object shots to the head used to be commonplace in professional wrestling, but

now the world knows more about the harmful effects of concussions, hardcore spots like

these have been phased out by WWE - meaning this was most definitely an accident.

Balor reportedly suffered a concussion back in April when Jinder Mahal delivered a stiff

elbow to his head.

So if the Maharaja's career trajectory is anything to go by, Samson is winning the Universal

Championship next month.

Hopefully Balor didn't suffer a similar injury from the guitar shot, as he's been

booked in a No DQ match against Samson for next Monday's Raw.

Kurt Angle Reveals Texting Mystery Also on Monday night, we had Kurt Angle's

big reveal of the texting scandal that could ruin his career - Smackdown wrestler Jason

Jordan is in fact his illegitimate son, who will be jumping brands to Raw.

HE LOOKS SO PROUD.

The story made so much sense, Renee Young interviewed Angle and Jordan immediately after

Raw for 30 minutes of exposition.

Jordan found out he was adopted, so he hired a private investigator to track down his biological

mother.

She then told him his father was Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle.

Jordan kept this quiet so he could succeed on his own merits.

But where does this leave Jordan's American Alpha tag team partner Chad Gable?

He doesn't seem to know either, tweeting: "Ummmmm.....

What?"

Luckily, Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan was around to fill him in:

"Don't worry, son, you'll find out who your REAL father is next week on #SmackdownLive...

oh wait, did I give it away by calling you son?"

Still zero, if you're counting.

Kurt Angle WWE Status With Kurt revealing Jordan as his son, you

might be asking yourself: how does that play into Angle's in-ring return?

Many thought the texting mystery was a way to book it, with the Wrestling Observer reporting

the backstage direction was to build an Angle vs Triple H match.

But The Dirty Sheets podcast says otherwise.

Apparently the actual creative plans had Angle returning for a match against Seth Rollins

at Survivor Series, to tie into the release of the WWE 2K18 video game - just like how

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar built into 2K17's release the previous year.

But despite 2K being very happy with the plan, "WWE has decided that they don't want

Kurt Angle wrestling in the WWE anymore.

They've decided he is not an in-ring talent, he's an onscreen talent.

He is not a wrestler."

The report continues that there are currently no plans for Angle to wrestle another match

in WWE anytime soon, and he hasn't undergone a medical.

The Seth Rollins Survivor Series match has been scrapped, and there are no plans for

Angle to wrestle at Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania either.

This runs contrary to Kurt's own belief, saying at the 2K18 press conference earlier

this month "I think more and more likely it will happen."

But WWE's longheld concern over Angle's physical health, which was reportedly why

they granted him an early release back in 2006, appears to still be in place.

Becoming an Agent: John Woodill's Perspective - Duration: 0:59.

I remember distinctly pulling into the gate and parking as they were processing people's

cars to go through the gate and then to the dorm for, you know, processing and getting

your room and getting oriented and stuff.

So it was a great anticipation, it was excitement being there, not really knowing what to expect.

No matter how well the recruitment process is it's difficult to really know until you're

there.

And it was just an incredible onboarding experience-there's so much to take in, to believe you're there

in the first place, where you are and what it might be like.

Until the next day, the first PT test when I wrecked my hamstring, so then, you know,

then reality sets in and you go through a process of rehabbing and getting through,

so...which is always remarkable in and of itself-how you get through difficulties and

things that everybody faces.

So, just unmitigated excitement and then trying to get down to brass tacks and figure your

way through it.

And it has to be exciting; how could it not be?

LionSteel SR-11 Knife Review. And a Hard Use Rotolock Lock Abuse - Duration: 9:12.

Lately it seems I havent been slumming it like I used to, so rest assured some cheap

Chinese crap is coming my way for review.

But in the meantime lets check out some expensive Italian crap, with the new Lionsteel Sr-11

flipper, an updated take on their take of a flipper the SR-1.

Sorry the winner of the Knife of the Year for 2017 at Blade Show and a representation

of the evolution of the Historic Sr-1.

And you mortals thougt it was just a knife!

Now lets forget all that by going over the dimensions of this tank.

Including the overall length and weight.

Looking at the specs its lighter than the OG SR-1.

Blade length and cutting edge.

Handle size and grip area.

Spine thickness and handle thickness.

Tallness closed, and how fare the flipping flipper sticks out.

Sorry, fucking flipper.

Yeah its been a while.

Thumbs down are still here and views havent gone up much.

So I basically bought this, because I bought a clone a few years back, and Ive been feeling

super guilty after reading that buying Ganzos is breaking the law over on well you know

where.

The Sr11 has a big blade made from, a surely mispronounced by me Sleipner Steel.

Which is according to marketing materials a modern update to classic D2 steel because

its tougher so its a better fit for quote active knife use.

Ok so now youre telling me people use their super steels!

Its a drop point flat ground blade with a satin finish.

And mine came really sharp out the box.

Been a while since I bought a Spyderco, so Ive been missing really sharp new knives.

I guess Benchmades aint bad.

The blade is deployed by a flipper stud which is an improvement over the Sr-1 and Sr-2 if

you hate thumb studs.

The blade pivots on a ball bearing system so its super smooth and easy to deploy.

Even for small children.

The thub stuf is also free of any jimping, its just nice and rounded.

Youd think it really needs jimping but it dont, and itll wear less on your fingers,

so you can complain about how your wrists hurt from uh typing all day instead.

The blade is locked into place by the RIL or frame lock, fun fact, you have to pay a

royalty ever time you save Reeve.

Thats how knife IP works.

And its secured with a rotolock.

Which is a lock for the frame lock.

The tip of the frame lock has hardened steel that you can replace, so its not aluminum.

Now I actually have another knife that has a Rotolock, and long time subscribers of this

channel, who probably no longer watch because of the bad words or videos will remember that

in my Lil Lion Spy video, a knife that was a experiment between lion steel and Spyderco,

trying to see how much people might pay for a small slow deploying knife with an overbuilt

lock.

Sorry I meant collaboration.

Now I was actually hyped up for this one because the rotolock on that was strong

and didnt allow the lock to move a millimeter on the spyderco lil lionspy.

Not the case on this one.

You can move it with your hand when fully engaged.

This means nothing to people who treat this knife with care, and use it for basic cutting

instead of an idiot like me who has a thing for beating on expensive knives with wood.

Or the other way around.

You can see that here, and in a few- when I beat it, then tell you its fair.

Also detent is sorta strong, but you can fling it all the way open from closed if you do

this.

It shouldnt deploy in your pocket.

Shouldnt.

The handle.

The handle is super nice and my hand fits around it perfectly, it feels perfectly natural

and it doesnt even curve to the left?

There is zero jimping and the aluminum handle is machined or 3d printed or forged or chiseled

by underpaid workers from a single piece of valarium aluminum.

Well you can also get it in titanium, but its heavier, and about $150 more which is

a lot of beer.

And I need beer more than a heavy titanium folder.

Plus I like looking my age, and working on my gut.

The handle can be had in a few colors, but orange made the most sense to me because it

wasnt available in hot pink or zebra stripes.

Its smooth with smooth texturing, so it might not fare too well with fish slime or yak blood.

The clip is reversible, and has that glass break stud on the back, in case you can reach

it in your overturned car, and need to get out.

It has the specially shaped stud!

Its a tip up carry only, unless youre Macguyver.

The clip is nice and springy although it may be loose in standard slacks, but not for you

21oz denim guys.

Modern world problems spend half a paycheck on heavyweight slubby Japanese selvedge or

dual lock Italian ball bearing flipper with using German super steel.

Ok I think I went over everything.

Lets do a super quick flipper comparison.

You remember the Steel Will CutJack.

Youre like sure do Ive seen it in probably 3 videos in a row now.

Maybe 4.

Oh ok, thats a much smaller knife, but the ball bearing action is comparable and they

both easily slide open.

Then theres my HEAdesigns Poison, also ball bearing, but it has the more super of the

steel, and its smaller.

Ok, you know what you can always go watch those videos.

How about the chopping!

Let me start out by saying.

Im kind of disappointed.

I mean not a whole lot, but I was hoping to beat on a knife that could withstand a ton

of abuse- but as the count stands, my Sebenza framelock actually was more reliable.

I know.

I dont know if mines slightly defective or not or the Lil Lionspy was super well built.

The lock failed multiple times, because of the slight amount of play when the rotolock

is locked.

So it cut my chopping short, since its not a reliable knife for that.

Youre like how about an axe.

Oh yeah Ben Malonda over on Instagram wanted me to test the tip.

Stick it in ad wiggle it around, you know the normal creepy sounding stuff.

Ok, so you wont get me to pry with it because that breaks tips and so far I have avoided

heavy duty prying to get clicks, but I will jab and pull jab and pull.

And if jabbing and pulling wont work for clicks, then Ill pry.

Im not at rock bottom yet.

After all of thiswell its only a bit, the knife is still ready for cardboard I guess.

Waa wah.

Ok, so its still sharp.

Fit and finish on the blade seems nice, except for the lock play.

I like it quite a bit although Id be lying if I said I bought it intending to do stuff

it wasnt intended for.

Oh well.

If you like this review, subscribe to me here and on instagram.

If you click that bell, below the video itll alert you as soon as my videos drop- so you

can come here and chime in with a first.

Or get to the thumbs down button quicker.

Give it a thumbs up, comment and dont worry.

I promise Im going back to commoner blades for a while, unless people start buying me

knives, or Chris Reeve finally returns my email.

Medford did.

He said no, but he still did.

Thanks for watching!

CS50 Explained VR 2016 - Week 3 - Sorting Blue Books - Duration: 2:58.

[APPLAUSE]

- So we don't ask people to search for seven anymore.

- [INAUDIBLE] to do two different demos that to do that do two different

things.

And the first one is these exam blue books that, thankfully, as of

this year we don't use any more.

- A lot of classes still do, I think.

I don't understand these blue books.

- But why do we use our blue books?

- I think someone bought a lot of them 20 years ago

and they're still using them.

- We're using the same supply that we got in 1994.

- So the opportunity at hand for this demonstration, in my mind,

is to invite a student up.

They are handed 26 blue books, on top of which are 26 names.

Which in reality we simplify as just A through Z.

And the goal was to have a student struggle, so to speak,

with the sorting of a pseudo random permutation of these books.

To see really how they do it.

This is not hard, so long as you know your A's through your Z's.

Like, it's easy to do.

But it's interesting, I think, to observe

the student do it and have him or her or verbalize what it is they just did.

And see if we can glean from that experience

some germ of an idea, something algorithmic that we can then formalize.

- Right.

Because usually when you're sorting you're just looking at it.

You're thinking about -- you're not saying,

well I'm going to put the E after the --

- You're not even thinking about it really.

- Yeah.

I'm saying, well, this is the E so it's going to have to go after the D,

I'm going to put it in this pile temporarily while I figure out

what to do with the rest of it.

In there, like you said, there are these little germs

of things that we'll see when we talk about the formalized algorithms

of selection sort, insertions sort, bubble sort.

- I mean, especially in week zero.

When we do the very intuitive, I think, divide and conquer,

looking for Mike Smith in the phone book.

But then we take a step back and try to formalize it with pseudo code

and put to paper or put to the screen exactly what it is we were thinking.

And trying to teach students how to express that

and, ultimately, how to leverage that.

The downside, I will say, of a demo like this is you

never know what you're going to get in the way of the actual students

experience.

Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't go well.

In terms of the pedagogy of it.

Sometimes the student does it so quickly or so well,

accidentally or algorithmically, that there's not much to talk about.

And so the reality is it's actually nice when a student struggles a little bit

or gets hung up for a moment, has to think.

Because that's an opportunity to jump in and say, all right, what's the decision

point here.

what's the fork in the road, the decision you're trying to make?

And here we have, thanks to the production team, an over the shoulder

camera angle so that we can actually see the B is there about to be sorted.

- Especially with a demo like this, where things are actually fairly small.

It's nice to be able to project this on the screen

for people who are watching live or watching after the fact

to see these steps side by side.

- And I do think these kinds of demos hopefully make things very real, right?

At the end of the day, it's kind of daunting for a lot of students

to be in a computer science class.

And yet, this is very accessible. even if no one

knows what a Blue Book is anymore.

You at least know that sorting, OK, this is something

I've probably had to do at some point.

Let me see if I can't clean this up now and start of formalize and leverage

this.

- Right.

CS50 Explained VR 2016 - Week 4 - Pointer Fun with Binky - Duration: 2:47.

- Not be touching memory that is not my own.

And indeed, thanks to Binky we're about to see --

- I love showing Binky every year.

This is from Nick from Stanford.

- This animation's been around for a really long time.

- It's just cute

- 1999!

- I can just picture him making this in his home.

Hours on end, I'm sure.

- Oh, this must have taken forever.

- We learned that ourselves.

Our [INAUDIBLE] production team, we all decided

it would be a good idea to recreate Binky a year or so ago.

but this time using Legos and building Binky and tweaking him

every few frames.

And oh my god, was that time consuming.

I can't imagine what it was like doing with clay where you

have to shape it even more precisely.

- But this is fun.

it takes the syntax and it lines it up with --

just, it's goofy.

- How can you be scared of Binky?

It's Binky.

- He's going to have his magic dereferencing wand.

- For referencing.

Yeah, Nick takes some liberties with the technical jargon.

But notice, look, even Nick likes his Easter eggs.

Forty-two, oh come on now.

- I know.

- And the bad number that breaks everything, 13.

- Of course.

It's unlucky.

as per the arrow that's just kind of floating there, isn't actually

pointing at anything, that OK, even if Binky's separating from his clay

there is not what you would expect to actually happen.

Like, something awry is certainly inevitable here.

- Oh, poor Binky.

- Oh, that's no good.

That's dedication to the art here though.

- I know.

- Moving the eye no less.

- It's a silly and cute way to introduce pointers,

but it's like, yeah, bad things happen when you dereference

a pointer that hasn't been given space.

- Bad things happen.

- That's the take away.

- Bad things happen and hopefully this can

help make the nerves that come with pointers go away a little bit.

people make these mistakes, I made these mistakes all the time.

I don't even intend to do it in section.

It happens.

I think that's one thing that's really important to take away

is that these mistakes are not indicative of you failing at this,

to learn this.

these are problems that people facing even

though we've been doing this for a long time and it's totally normal.

- It's totally stressing me out how many steps it must have taken to shoot this.

CS50 Explained VR 2016 - Week 4 - Strings Are a Lie - Duration: 1:25.

DAVID MALAN: What these running times are,

and we'll continue to revisit this issue as we look at more algorithms and soon,

data structures, still.

[END PLAYBACK]

DOUG LLOYD: The chapter title of this segment in the video

is very, very honest.

DAVID MALAN: It's based on the Maury Povich meme.

DOUG LLOYD: Yeah, strings--

DAVID MALAN: Dated, but never truer.

DOUG LLOYD: Is he still doing TV?

Anyway, strings are a lie, and now we finally tell the truth about them.

DAVID MALAN: And we talked about that some weeks ago

when we deliberately introduced, via the CS50 library, the typedef that

is a string type, which doesn't really exist because, of course,

it's just the charstar underneath the hood.

But this is, I think, interesting, right,

because we're only a few weeks into the class,

but we're enough weeks into the class where

it's like time to start taking off these training wheels.

Because I do think we do students a disservice ultimately

if we didn't take these training wheels off,

and we sort of allowed them to think through the duration of our use of C

that, like, strings are in the language.

DOUG LLOYD: Right.

If they were to go out later on and program

in C without including the CS50 library, they would be possibly stuck.

DAVID MALAN: No, you don't want to hamper students in that way.

And I think now it affords us an opportunity,

too, to remove those training wheels not just for the sake of removing them

but to actually now dive in deeper.

Let's zoom in.

Let's enhance it, like what is going on underneath the hood,

and use it as a genuinely interesting, stimulating, if not

challenging, opportunity to discuss the underlying implementation details.

Delta Commissioner Of Police Denies Own Statement Dismissing Senator Omo-Agege - Duration: 4:26.

Delta Commissioner Of Police Denies Own Statement Dismissing Senator Omo-Agege's Assassination Claims

In a swift turnaround, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr Zanna Ibrahim, has denied his own dismissal of claims by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator representing Delta Central, Ovie Omo-Agege, of an assassination attempt on him.

The incident took place in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, to which Mr Omo-Agege travelled on Saturday with his family and some APC chieftains, for the second phase of his constituency 'empowerment' program.

But irate youths, brandishing arms, invaded the venue, resulting in the Senator and his family being whisked away by supporters.   Furthermore, already-seated guests were chased away, and several vehicles in the entourage of the Senator destroyed.

But in a fierce reaction, Mr Ibrahim dismissed the claims of the Senator, insisting his command was unaware of any assassination plot against him, and accusing politicians of being in the habit of making a mountain out of a molehill.

I dont know about any assassination attempt on the senator, he said, his words captured on tape.  Didnt he have policemen with him? I know he reported a complaint at the Ekpan police station that he was attacked by thugs during an empowerment program but I dont know whether it boils down to an assassination attempt.

My question is, didnt he have policemen with him? As a senator [going to] an empowerment program, will he go empty handed?.

The commissioner stressed that in such a situation, the politician is supposed to tell the police so that they will provide security, and asking whether Senator Omo-Agege did that.

Also, didnt he have police operatives with him? Somebody will not just wake up to say they attempted to assassinate him. When are making allegations you have [to have] substantial proof, not just making allegations..

But barely 24 hours after he dismissed the senators claims, the. police public relations officer (PPRO), DSP Andrew Aniamaka, completely backed-off that position, saying that at no time did Mr Ibrahim say that the Senator lied about an assassination attempt on him.

He offered the denial on Monday during the weekly briefing with the Command's management team, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and Heads of Departments (HODs), which was held in the conference room of the Command Headquarters in Asaba.

According to Mr Aniamaka, The CP who was responding to insinuations in certain quarters of the press that the Command dismissed the senator's alleged attack noted that preliminary investigation into the case had already commenced at the Area Command office, Warri, and will be later transferred to SCIID, Asaba, with a view to getting to the root of the case, fishing out the culprits and bringing them to justice.

Delta State Police commissioner, Zanna Ibrahim.

Meanwhile the CP calls on politicians and other stakeholders to always avail themselves of their unfettered access to the police and other security agencies to seek for the provision of adequate security especially when distributing money and other items to their constituents as hoodlums may want to hijack such events to their own advantage.

The CP while urging politicians to eschew anything that may heat up the polity, promises that all reported incidents will be properly investigated without any fear or favor..

[Review] Silica par Rolecosplay ! - Duration: 2:10.

A few alterations later

Hi ! It's Akela !

I'm going to make a review of a costume sent by Rolecosplay

It's Silica from Sword art online

First, the good points of the costume

As you might have seen in the video it really detailed

All the details and pattern are present

They put all the accessories,

Like gloves, belt, bag, socks

They used different stuff to make it

changing according the different parts

The dress is made of resistant fabric

But the breast plate is more rigid

Wearing this costume is enjoyable

there aren't scratching seams

or elastic band too tight

Little bonus : you can put you phone on the little bag

which can be useful in exhibitions

Let's see some little negative points

I think that's maybe my fault;

I'm small so we had to adjust the costume

As you saw it in the beginning

The socks were too large

I'll take sock and paint on it

The last point : the buttonhole were missing

So we created them

I'm happy with this partnership with Rolecosplay

Overall

the costume is comfortable

I can't wait to make SAO's CMV !

See you soon !

Hi I'm actually dying

CS50 Explained VR 2016 - Week 8 - Porting to Python - Duration: 3:24.

- All right.

so, let's go ahead now and make a transition in code.

- So much like our transition from scratch to C

and ultimately C to JavaScript.

So with C to Python, I decided to take the approach of trying

to map one language to another.

Give students a representative example of a construct in C,

whether it's a function, or a loop, or condition, or a variable.

And then show them the equivalent Python.

So much like in Scratch, they're reassured that the idea is the same,

but now you have a colon and you have fewer parentheses and no semi-colon

and you really have to indent.

But it's not a big deal, is the point at least, of that.

And what I found hopefully was helpful too in explaining this,

or at least as helpful for the way my mind works,

is to actually pull up some representative examples.

Not just of lines of code, but whole programs,

and import them from C to Python.

So that one, students ideally already know how the C version works.

So there's no cognitive barrier there.

Now it's really just a syntactic translation of one to the other.

- So it's certainly nice then to have that corpus of demos ready at hand.

all of our lecturers come with a zip of all of the source

files that you show and lecture.

And so we can just take those and immediately transform them into Python.

- And it's a very safe way, I think, of exploring a new language.

Even for me it was enlightening to just take the C example and then figure out,

all right here's the solution literally on the left, how do we now on the right

re-implement this in Python.

And it's an opportunity to read up on a language,

figure out how I can do things a little more elegantly,

maybe Python really can tighten some of those things up.

Because you can you have some nice constructs like for...in for instance.

And so that was helpful exercise I thought.

- And super impactful is the ability in CS50 IDE

to actually have a split window to show it literally side by side,

as opposed to jumping back and forth between them

or showing them on a PowerPoint slide, which is what we've done before.

- I agree.

And hopefully students found this helpful too for pset 6.

Since beyond the sentiment analysis and the ML part of that problem

set did we have students reimplement Mario and/or Caesar or Visionaire

or Crack, and so forth.

And there too, I feel like that's a very comfortable space

to be in because, hey, you already have your solution,

whether it's yours or ours that we made available.

All you have to do is figure out now how to map this to a new language

and you have the entirety of Google and the web at your disposal,

as well as the lessons learned from class.

So hopefully that's a nice way of sort of bootstrapping oneself

to enough comfort to then bite off something like sentiment analysis.

- Now Python, as a language, has much better I/O capabilities than C,

at least out of the box.

So what motivated, nonetheless, we saw a little bit

earlier porting the library to Python.

- Yeah.

It was a good question and it was kind of a toss up because Python

has a nice input function that will just get you

user input, much like getString.

But I wanted to actually return a specific data type, much

like we did with C. And I also wanted there to be really a one to one

mapping for those early conversions, those warm up exercises where

you don't have to figure out how getString and getInt and getFloat

and so forth work.

We actually want to just port those, literally, over to the equivalence.

Plus for some of our teachers online, especially

in CS50 AP who might be using Python even more,

it's just nice to be able to hand students

a library with which they can even do earlier portions of the course,

but in Python.

So just having that in our toolkit felt compelling,

even though we very quickly abandoned it deliberately

for later in that same piece set.

- I suppose even on its own it it allows us to introduce the equivalent of pound

include with Python's import.

- Indeed.

There's a nice mapping to that as well.
