hey guys what's up it's Charlie here and today we're going to be looking at 10

shocking things found in your favorite foods we all have certain foods and

drinks that we just love whether it be Big Mac burgers Oreo cookies or Mountain

Dew normally we get what we expect in our packets or can dodge seeds at 10

times people have had a nasty surprise inside their favorite food subscribe and

turn on notifications and comment done when you've done this for a shout-out at

the end of our next video coming in at number 10 that we have subway most of us

probably for sandwich for lunch and for many of us this means getting a Subway

sandwich there great as you can make it your own and totally customize it but

one customer got an incredibly unexpected surprise in their sandwich

which I doubt they requested they found a giant six-inch knife in their sandwich

they were trying to break the sandwich into too hard but got confused when they

couldn't they then took the sandwich apart and found the giant serrated knife

I don't know if the subway work was trying to take the customer's life or if

they just misplaced their knife not only was the knife in the sandwich but it was

baked right into it this was during the lunch rush so maybe it was an accident

by a very dopey employee the guy did actually take a bite of the sandwich

before trying to break it in half but luckily it was the side with the handle

and not the blade otherwise this customer may not be around to tell the

tale watch out before biting into your next subway next up is Big Mac who

doesn't love McDonald's there's so much choice when you go there but for many

the famous Big Mac if their go-to item on the McDonald's menu we all kind of

know the ingredients of a Big Mac the burgers the cheese the lettuce but

something which would shocked us all if we found it in a Big Mac would be a

t-rex one customer found the Jurek flips just some of the middle bun in there Big

Mac now I know McDonald's makes their food at super fast speeds but no matter

how fast this employee was making the Big Mac it's hard to see how a Jurek's

could have slipped into the burger in fact why would they even have a Jurek's

in the kitchen really makes you wonder what the stuff are getting up to back

there at least the customer was well protected from any diseases when taking

a bite next up is Oreos Oreos are America's

favorite cookie they're pretty simple just two cookies with a cream filling

what could go wrong well one Oreo fan found something

disturbing in type the cream part of their Oreo

a young girl too can Oreo cookie from the packet and separated it into two

parts like they doing the commercial but unlike in the commercials she found a

squashed spider inside the cream filling her mother was shocked and shed an image

of the spider inside the cookie on Facebook we all know Oreos are delicious

and it seems this spider does too the little girl was shocked when she saw

this but it's a good thing she knows to separate the two sections of the cookie

so mother sent a complaint to Oreos to try and get her 4 dollars back on the

cookies but we're not sure if that's happened yet as long as you guys

separate your Oreo cookies as most people do you should be good and if you

don't do this then maybe you should start if you don't

you might find a creepy crawly inside your next cookie next up is mountain dew

mountain dew is up there with the biggest soft Hrant brands like Pepsi

coca-cola and Spray Mountain Dew is a soda made up of lemon and lime flavoring

and so does seem kind of simple to produce right the soda just goes from a

tube right into the can well somehow a man from Illinois was reported to have

found amounts in a can of Mountain Dew and apparently it was the entire amount

in his can of soda he was so grossed out that he actually

took the company to court for his trouble but Mountain Dew said that or

included adults in entire mouth into a jelly-like substance it's pretty nasty

knowing that Mountain Dew can dissolve an entire mouth anyhow it's not known

who won the court case but either way this is a nasty story if the man was

right than a mouse somehow made its way into his loader and it's Mountain Dew

right it means there so the can dissolve an entire animal next up is bread where

it is often seen as a healthy basic food and it can be seen as much better as you

can make your own sandwiches instead of buying expensive ones from the store

well one man from England did just that he bought a loaf of Clovis bread and

made a sandwich at home to take to work but as he was cutting the bread for a

sandwich he found a mouse kicked into the load

that's right the mouse strikes again unsurprisingly the man was gross

and reported the incident to the press Hovis was later fined for the rodents

slipping into the bread they said the rats must have got into the mixing port

before the dough was being poured in prove this apologized and had to pay out

$17,000 and the man will likely not be buying the brand ever again what's even

more shocking is that the tail wasn't found in the loaf and the company has no

idea where the tail could have ended up the guy was pictured on the new speaking

a sandwich with a new loaf of bread but I think I'd be put of bread for life if

this happened to me yeah I'm going to be checking my bread after this video next

up is hash browns this is another instance that took place at McDonald for

many the best breakfast item from McDonald's if they're hash browns and

it's also one of the most popular items by far but one guy who got breakfast

from McDowell's found something pretty disgusting in his hash browns breakfast

that is a rogue's baked into a hash brown we've all heard stories of people

finding bugs crawling around McDonald's restaurants but it's very rare that we

actually hear a feed bugs being baked into the actual food demand fit into it

and then saw the bug it's just a good thing he didn't bite into the roach he

posted a photo of his lofty discovery to Reddit and it went viral and

unfortunately according to news reports this is not the first time cockroaches

have been found in McDonald's food I know roaches gotta eat too but stay out

of our breakfast next up we have Gerber baby food all food should be clean and

free of any nasty surprises but this is especially true for baby food as it's

designed for innocent newborn but one mom made a shocking

discovery inside a jar of Gerber baby food

gerber is the biggest brand of baby food so it should be safe for any baby to eat

right well one mom found shards of glass

inside one of the glass jars at first she thought it was her baby being messy

but they found blood coming from the baby's mouth thanks to the glass this is

of course super dangerous and what's even scarier is that following this a

waiver complaint in over 30 state occurred after this was reported and

Maryland outright bans Gerber baby to focus of fears of glass inside it

parents be careful what you feed your baby the best step is to empty it out

into the tub instead of feeding it to your baby from a spoon it's crazy we

can't even trust a baby food manufacturer to make their product safe

but glass and baby food could potentially cause babies to lose their

lives so watch out next up is Milky Way Milky Way is one of the most popular

chocolate brands in the world the only problem with candy is it can get stuck

in some people pee well in this case a tooth got stuck in someone's candy a

woman in Texas for two Milky Way bar from a local store she was excited to

bite into it but when she did the candy bar bit her back that was because there

was a real human tooth inside her candy bar this was a nasty surprise and she

went to the press with it at first the woman thought it was a peanut but should

we after continuing to bite into it she realized that Milky Way bastards contain

any peanuts as freaked out she doesn't want to sense the tooth to multi-way as

she believes they will destroy it instead she's planning on taking the

chocolatey tooth to her center that's going to be one appointment the

dentist's will never forget next up is ice cream ice cream is a comfort food

that we just love to dig into well one woman bought a pint of Walmart

ice cream it was vanilla with a chocolate pot at the bottom as a life

surprise but hiding inside such a nice surprise was another nasty surprise

when she ate it she felt something sharp caught her mouth and it turned out a

razor blade was inside her ice cream at first she thought this was some

machinery that had fallen into the tub but it's worth it to confirm to her that

it was in fact a razor blade she went to the fridge and contacted Walmart's

customer support she was quite forgiving white hopes

she'll gets the right response to a razor blade being found in her ice cream

three hope she gets the right response too and even if it was a part of the

factory surely Walmart would be able to anchor things down and make sure that no

parts fallen for their ice cream the worst part about this story the razor

blade wasn't even covered in chocolate

next up is McDonald's fries there's a lot of things to love at McDonald's from

the burgers for the sodas but one thing McDonald's is super famous for is their

french fries they're normally delicious but if you ask won't

they will tell you something different one woman at the University of Illinois

in Chicago discovered a scabby band-aid in her French frys she had gone to a

McDonald's on campus for a late-night snack but she never imagined to see a

gross medical product in her food she took the fries back and complained and

was given a refund she also told her local college paper and then the

national media picked it up I have no idea how a band-aid could slip off

someone's skin and onto food it's company policy for kitchen stuff not to

wear band-aids on the job one thing's for sure this is very off-putting

Update 0.6.8 kicks off with the first historical campaign,

based on the well-known events that took place at Dunkirk ] in May 1940.

Our bravest Captains are welcome to a briefing.

We must evacuate them and deliver them to a safe place.

Sounds easy? You wish!

Air raids, gunfire from the coast, and torpedo boats

make this so much more challenging.

But the true threats are the minefields.

Follow the map closely and don't try to sail through them. Good luck, Captains!

Fans of military history, get ready to gather a unique collection of 16 items.

You can extend your collection of trophies with British trucks,

a 210-mm German mortar, and other models from the time of Operation Dynamo.

You can earn them by completing special missions.

Complete the collection to receive a commemorative flag,

an honorable achievement, and British commander Jack Dunkirk.

He is peculiar for having three improved skills:

Jack of All Trades, Expert Marksman, and Smoke Screen Expert.

a few Premium ships, unique camouflages, and special, economic, and combat signals.

In addition, as you requested, we decreased the chance

of receiving a special upgrade and removed kits with credits

from the Supercontainer options.

By the way, special upgrades began to play out in fresh colors.

I hope you didn't sell them, as some of them were moved to more suitable slots.

Update 0.6.8 allows you to mount both

the Damage Control Party and Damage Control System upgrades.

prune it and tidy up the branch structure

the way to prune these is to reduce and cut back to

first node which is this one here

So I am going to cut it back to there and same thing

with this one cut it back to there and then I'm going to

reduce it to back there, so basically taking the branches

in and also remove this one and it has basically

reduced the tree and

I want to keep the branch is compact and

up here again I'll remove this branch

and here I am going to reduce this branch

here is crossing

I am reducing the branches and to keep them more

compact and this one I'm going to remove

completely to about there, leaving this little branch

and same thing with this one I'm going to reduce it to

there and that one to back there

and these are dead branches which have to come off

anyway so that's dead

that's died back, this is dead so I'm going to remove that

with a branch cutter, clean it all up

and that's dead, these are quite easy to remove,

that's dead and turn the tree round,

this is dead and I will also remove this one

That's dead

and prune this back to about there

continue reducing these, the length of

these branches and same thing here

branches whic h are growing inwards they will come out

There are some dead branches remove these

from here, we're just going to continue

with reduction of these branches

and where there are too many, simply reduce again,

reduce to that and again

from these two more branches will come

out and we continue working around the

tree and up here this is getting very long

so we cut it back to there

I'll reduce this, it's fighting with this branch here

and again maintain the pads

here I'm going to go back to here because this is

starting to go into this branch here

so I'll remove that and we then have these two

branches and then again

dividing into further two

and we continue with the process here and again

reduce this one here and reduce that

so as we go up the branches at the

top get shorter and then ones of the bottom

and then the smaller branch will then have

a chance of growing and same thing with this

long leggy branch towards right back

remove that and same thing with these here,

and just continue

working around the tree and this one

I'm going to remove completely.

So will continue working and reducing the nodes

and this again I'm going to take it

Siarhei Budkin: Positive charisma, excellent voices and an impeccable sense of melody

Naviband, perhaps, the brightest representatives of the new Belarusian music.

A boy with a guitar and a girl with piano

eemingly in love with each other,

tender voices sing about hugs and happiness.

Navi, or as they ask themselves to be called, NaviBand,

began almost 4 years ago, as a duet of Artem Lukyanenko and Ksyusha Zhuk.

The first song immediately hit the target and became their called card.

Trying to create a quality creative product

labeled "Love Music" on the Belarusian pop stage,

usually ends in failure.

Because some have one by one,

the second is pathetic,

and the third vulgar.

Navi here is a rare exception to the rules.

They do everything delicately, mentally and tastefully.

At a certain point within the boundaries of the duet

Artem and Ksenia became tight аnd now they give a full sound and never use a phonogram.

And people are happy to see them everywhere -

Artem: Hmm, this is a question that is very principled for us.

Firstly, I generally don't like word "patriotism", because this is not love.

Mira: But it's you who said this word, not me.

Artem: I said quote.

Artem: So, as they called and talked.

I just don't like this word, because it doesn't express love for one's land.

Mira: Let's change this word.

Artem: Well, love of your land, where you were born.

And patriotism it is artificially invented concept, I think.

Well, you can't specifically be forced to be, as they say, a patriot.

Making you love your land is impossible.

Either there is this love and you feel it, or you don't feel it.

And you can wander and be a man of peace.

Ksusha: For example, we wrote song "This Land" and song "Story of My Life".

These songs about Belarus.

And they appeared, because we, I think, felt something very strong inside,

felt our belonging to this land, to our country.

And on the one hand you can say that they, (for Artem) as you don't like to say, patriotic.

But there is not a single word about Belarus or anything else, and for us it's very..

Artem: Well, land is..

Ksusha: Well, yes, yes, but I mean that..

Mira: Not emphasized.

Artem: Specifically word "Belarus".

There are in our country, such a policy is that word "Belarus" can be used a hundred times,

but it is an artificial song, a declaration of love for their land, I think.

As for music and politics, we are generally categorical in this regard,

we have absolutely nothing to do with politics, what is happening in it.

We live in this land and in this country,

we have the opportunity to earn money,

to perform, to live by this and develop, to move on.

And every year I see how we grow.

And we have the opportunity to develop, so I don't see any reason

to associate this with any insults or become attached to politics.

We are generally against politics in music.

Ksusha: Yes.

Mira: Well, let's get back to the music.

Artem: Today we play a song,

Tell us what was the first.

Did you converge on the background of creativity or did you first have love?

Artem: This is the most provocative question.

Mira: I have some provocative questions in my stock.

Ksusha: Well, at first I had a love affair with Alexander Tobolskiy.

Mira: That's how it turns out, fate has developed, Alexander.

Artem: He doesn't have a microphone, he can't answer.

Artem: We promise them that we will make money only with music.

We will be the whole band. It is not so difficult, more precisely, not so easy. Well, not so difficult. Everything is possible.

Mira: It would be a wish, they tell the truth.

Mira: I think it's time to listen to your "Story". One of the stories of your life.

Artem: "Story of my life" - this song is two-sided.

Song that entered our album.

And first of all there is told the story of a man

who believes that in the future he will have everything, as best as possible.

That he his goals and make their own way to be happy.

And the other side is the person's faith in the best life of his country.

Sergey: Listen, Mira, it seemed to me that NaviBand, as they now call themselves,

behaved like real stars.

Not a Belarusian spill, but an international one.

People who know that they are loved

and that they can fall in love with everyone else.

They stayed on top.

Mira: I think that they not only know that they are loved,

but they know that they can do anything to make them loved

and those who hear them for the first time.

And in my opinion this is absolutely justified, because they work a lot, I see.

They know what they are doing, they know what challenge will be after this.

And the fact that they are stars. In my opinion they really are.

Sergey: Well, what I said in the preface that this is a rare format of music for everyone,

they confirmed it today.

You are so magically brought to the answers that they can play and Basowiszcza and Slavic Bazaar,

but they do't lose their core, I think.

Mira: And they explained. It's the music of the sun,

and everyone loves the music of the sun.

And our country is not that the sun from time to time is not enough,

we, I think, lacked such band.

This niche was absolutely free, quiet and they very quickly took it.

Sergey: But not because they are so naive in their work. I'm afraid they might be used.

Mira: Do you think that these people with such a huge core,

can somehow be used?

I think no. For some reason I am sure that if nothing has happened before,

everything will be fine with them.

she's gone through a lot of things.

Working with Ashley has been awesome. She has a very personal viewpoint on, who Chloe is

what her voice is like, how she relates to all the other characters of Arcadia Bay.

Hi, my name is Rhianna DeVries I play Chloe Price in Life Is Strange: Before The Storm.

There's something so relatable about Chloe and I think that's why so many people love her.

It's because we all have something in us, or something about her, that we either want to be or already have.

I took Chloe very personally, I tried to play her as raw and as close to heart as possible.

I think just the rawness of her hurt and her pain

is the thing that makes her such a dynamic and lovable character.

She has this wicked wit that she uses to alienate others, and keep people at bay.

You could actually be good at this, if you lost the attitude.

My attitude is what makes me special, David.

I think she's someone that doesn't want to let on that she is affected by others,

but absolutely is.

Finding Rachel at this point in her life was a really big deal for her.

We've embraced this idea that each girl kind of desperately needs something

that only the other person can provide at this specific point in time in their lives.

So getting to see that need, that vulnerability, and the strength and power

that the characters pull from each other - it's incredible.

We heard about it in the first game, obviously a lot, it's a lot of what motivates Chloe

and being able to actually see it and have the players experience it will be really special and really fun.

A lot of fans, I know, are really concerned about what happened between Rachel and Chloe

and exactly how it broke down and how many layers their relationship has

just having a hand in bringing that to life has been an honour.

I've had my own mental perspective of who Rachel must have been, and that kind of thing

so, getting to actually see her fleshed out, and to be able to read the interactions that she and Chloe have

has been really awesome and the team has done a really great job of crafting those scenes

I got to work with Phil, who was the Voice Over Director for LIS one

he asked me questions that would prompt certain emotions from me

so that I would read the lines a certain way.

It becomes a very personal matter, it's not just playing around any more.

I'm feeling everything that I'm feeling.

It was the junkyard scene in Episode 1 where Chloe is just crying, and beating on cars and things

and Phil had told me, as a motivation, he just said 'you can't be with someone you love anymore'

and immediately that person popped into my head and since then it's just been holding on to the memory

of who they are to me, and how they feel in relation to me, that's been driving how I play Chloe for a lot of this.

I'm sorry, for whatever I did or didn't do. Today was the best day I've had since my Dad died.

and I've screwed it up somehow, like I screw everything up, because I'm a fucking screw up.

Chloe, please, I don't want to be alone anymore

Imperfection is something that we embrace with this story, for sure.

Rachel Amber has a power, and a charisma, and a meaning to Chloe that is

you know from the first game, if you've played it, incredible.

We don't know for sure that it's purely good.

We hope with the story, in Before The Storm, to raise this question of, it can be amazing

to meet a person who has that power, that's not necessarily a good thing all the time either,

because people are inherently complex, Rachel Amber is not just a hero to Chloe.

She might not be a hero at all to Chloe, the player's decisions will play a big role

in determining exactly what their relationship is like

and what kind of an impact Rachel is going to have on her.

I came to be a student at Appalachian.

I came up here a lot when I was younger, I learned how to ski at Beech Mountain and attended

some football games, a couple of concerts on campus.

I didn't really see Appalachian until I was a senior in high school and I came up

to visit a friend that was a freshman here.

I was just in awe by the beauty of the mountains, campus and the fresh air and was excited when

I got my acceptance letter, I was ready to be a Mountaineer.

So my experience when I got up here, I wanted to take advantage of everything that App had

to offer.

I got involved from day one.

I applied for the Black Student Association advisory board and they introduced me to other

folks.

Then I joined Lady's Elite freshman year -- it is a female student service organization

on campus.

So I had a really great experience.

I would say that definitely my most cherished organization and one that is still deep in

my heart is I pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha up here, Omicron Kappa Chapter.

It was a great chance for me.

I was lucky to be elected president of the chapter, it was quite an experience.

I had a great time and it was definitely my most cherished memories.

The Student Union is an important place on campus for me.

It is where I spent a lot of time studying for exams.

I sent my very first email ever from the computer lab on the second floor.

I specifically chose the Multicultural Center to film here because this was a safe place

and a welcoming place.

A place where I could connect with other students of color.

A place where we could have forums and discussions about different things that affected us on

campus.

It is really nice to be back in this center and I'm glad to see that it is still welcoming

and a safe place for students of color here today.

I was raised, my parents taught me to give back to the community that you live in and

that gives so much to you and I. that's how I feel about Appalachian.

Whether it's my time, talent or treasure, I want current Mountaineers and future Mountaineers

to have even better opportunities that I had when I was here.

Being this year's recipient of the Young Alumni Award means so much because this university

means so much to me.

I am thankful to the Alumni Council for the honor.

I thank my parents for instilling in me the want to give back and how important it is

to give back to a place that has given me so much.

I'm happy to serve.

I don't do it for the recognition, but this is definitely an honor.

I'm standing in front of Chapell Wilson Hall and Chapell Wilson Hall was where I started

high school in 1963.

This spot is special for me for many reasons.

I walked to school, the elementary school was on the other side of Chapell Wilson Hall

where the parking garage is now for the library, and I walked to school and I walked back from

school.

I walked back behind the dorms, going down the street.

I grew up on this campus almost.

It was just part of my community, it is part of who I am.

My experiences here, when I say Appalachian is part of my DNA, it is part of my DNA.

It is part of who I've been since I was 8 years old.

My mother was a graduate of Appalachian, three of her sisters were graduates of Appalachian,

two of her brothers were graduates of Appalachain, my sister is a graduate of Appalachian, I

met my wife at Appalachian.

She is a graduate and she also has her master's from here.

Two of my children are graduates of Appalachian.

The opportunity to go here in a community we grew up in at a university that we loved

and has provided so many opportunities to us.

It's hard to express what that means.

Appalachian provided me with a quality education, prepared me for the next step in my life and

I made so many friends who I treasure today.

Appalachian is a family.

Appalachian has been a family since 1899.

I think the motto that the Dougherty brothers had when they founded this university was

to make this area of the state better.

I got a quality education at Appalachian.

I have an obligation.

You know one of my favorite verses in the Bible, I'm going to paraphrase it a little

bit, but it says "to those whom that much has been given, much is expected."

Well, when you come to Appalachian, much is given to you and as a result of that much

is expected of you.

So the blessings I have received from Appalachian far outweigh what little that I have done

for Appalachian.

I appreciate the opportunity to serve.

I appreciate the opportunity to try to enhance the student learning experience and to try

and make this a better place for our people to work.

I am fortunate enough to work with a lot of people who have done that far more than I

ever will or ever have.

It's hard to describe what the Distinguished Alumni Award means to me.

The fact that I received this award this year, I can't really express very well in words.

It's one of those things that I usually am really good at, talking.

I've made a living talking.

But this is one of those things that when I think about meeting my wife, think about

my mother coming to school here, think about six children in her family coming to school

here.

I think about my grandfather playing cards with Dr. Dougherty.

Dan'l Boone Inn was my grandfather's home, he was a country doctor, and he and Dr. Dougherty

were great friends.

I am trying to think now what he would say with his grandson standing here on Appalachian's

campus and receiving this award.

I think he would be proud of what Appalachian is, proud of what Appalachian has become and

I think he would be proud of what Appalachian's future is.

And I'm so blessed and this is just another one of the blessing that I have been fortunate

enough to receive.
