What's wrong?
You look off today.
Will Mogmog's love reach it?
Huh?
According to my data, there is no way to succeed in love between a dog and a cat.
Because they're different species.
Is that so?
Once I thought so, somehow...
I felt kinda drafty around here, and lonely.
Feel lonely?
I'm an android.
I'm different from humans: Emiru, Hana, Saaya, Homare, and Hugtan.
As a species.
Emiru?
I love you, Ruru!
I sang with that feeling.
Did it reach you?
Yes, that was a very heartwarming singing voice.
Then, species don't matter!
Feelings of liking something or enjoyment...
among dogs, cats, birds, fishes, humans, and androids...
are all the same!
There is no way not to reach each other because of different species!
It did reach me.
Mogmog's feeling will reach Lily-chan!
Let's cheer it on all together!
Then, how about cheering it on with our song?
It's a nice idea!
Let's perform live at the venue!
Whoa, lovey-dovey!
I'm glad its feeling reached it!
Their love can reach each other even if they're different species.
Emiru!
Yes?
I love you, too!
You're suddenly embarrassing me!
Thank you!
Yup-yup.

My last hitchhike in USA | Haryanavi 'Dhaba' | Driving License: US vs India - Duration: 20:55.
This is World's largest truck stop
This place can accommodate 1000 trucks at a time
lets go and check the facilities
This is huge
Never saw so many restaurants at one Truck stop
Its 10 am
Although I am in a new time zone so actually its 11 am
This is Indiana state
I just took shower at that truck stop
Going back to the highway towards Springfield
He is going to deliver the goods there
After that, I will start searching for a new ride
I have to reach New York
This is an Indian restaurant
It always feels good to see Indian food outside of India
This is Tiffin restaurant
Sorry I didn't get your name
Thats my father's name :)
He is from Karnal, Haryana
I met a few more people from Karnal on this trip
I always feel glad to meet Indians in a foreign country
Although its not been a long time, but we are doing good here in America
US is the epitome of India-Pakistan brotherhood
We celebrate our festivals togeather
I have a lot of friends from Pakistan
Situation in India is different
The situation created on the border... created by media... is very different from the actual one
Irony is that even we do not want to think different from what we are shown or made to think by the media
Its different in USA
Everyone lives together. Be it a Bangladeshi, Chinese, Pakistani, etc...
A common man has nothing to do with such politics
The political agenda... media... is same in India and Pakistan
This is what the Pakistanis think about their country
If we start thinking in a different manner, we will come to understand the whole game of 'hate politics'
I say I travel differently... likewise we need to think differently
The world is not exactly what we are daily shown in the mainstream media!
It is way different and positive!
People like Mr Kamal and Mr Lakhbir make me feel positive about the world
These people are the example of how we have evolved ourselves after struggles and rigorous efforts
how we have coexisted together!
This is what 'Indianism' is!
Let me tell you... Bollywood is a something which link all of us
also the cricket ... sports
but again, there is a lot of politics in Bollywood!
That should be avoided in films
We should not spread hate through our films
If you are somewhere attached with Bollywood then please think about this
Although there are a lot of good films too
For eg...Salman khan's "Tiger Zinda hai"
Indian and Pakistani soldiers fight together for a cause
That was a great message
It gave me goosebumps, when I saw Indian and Pakistan's flag unfurl at the same time
So lets begin with us
If we change ourselves
our films will change
Our politicians will change
Country will change
USA got independence in 1776
It took decades to reach the USA at this stage
We can also do that
We have to start... by doing little by little
it will happen for sure
Thanks a lot for your time
In 2015, we lost a life in every 4 minutes in road accidents in India
According to a report by WHO...
The main reasons for road accidental deaths in India are:
Overspeeding, Driving under influence, Overloading, driving without seat belt/helmet
Our main roads and highways are not access controlled
Whereas USA has a lot more automobiles than India
still they have fewer road accidents than India
why!
People like Mr Lakhbir, who are driving on these roads for 22 years, can tell us better
A lot of people in India die due to overspeeding. How about USA?
US Police is very strict
They issue you a ticket, cancel your driving license...
DMV is Department of motor vehicle in USA, like RTO in India
The test to get the driving license is very tough
They ask around 100 question in the test
You get only 3 chance to get qualified in a test
If you don't qualify, you have to pay the fees again and follow the procedure from the beginning
After passing the test you have to undergo training
Because of the tough procedure only the deserving people get the driving license in USA
This is why most of the drivers in USA are aware about the traffic rules
What will happen if you cross the speed limit?
While issuing the first driving license you are given 4 points
As you commit the first offence you will get the first ticket
After repeated offenses, If you are given 4 tickets...
your license is blocked
it is actually put on hold
you have to give the test again to get back the license
The driving License in US is valid only for 5 years
If you have never been issued a ticket, then you'll get the license delivered at your home
automatically
Tell me something about Medical test
To get a commercial driving license you need to undergo a special medical test
You can approach any qualified doctor for this purpose
If everything is ok, you will get the driving license for 2 years
if you don't undergo the medical test, you license is put on hold after the 2nd year
hold means, you might be having the license, but it will be considered invalid
so medical test after every 2 years is mandatory
Another reason of accidents in India is Overloading
Previously in India they used to allow to carry 9 tonne of load in a truck
but now this limit may be much higher than this due to much advanced trucks in India as well
How much load people used to carry in a 9 tonne truck?
20 tonnes in a 9-tonne truck!! Oh my god!!
this is why their tires burst, roads are damaged, engines are seized...
despite such damages, why do they do overload?
Truck drivers in India have to bribe officials from Police & Transport department
So to recover the loss due to this they often overload
They won't earn handsome if they follow the load limits
they have to afford running costs like fuel, maintenance, etc...
so they overload to make more money
Now you know why they do overloading!
Yes.. yes I am talking about India
Mr Lakhbir wants to make it clear that he was talking about India, not USA!
Wow! this container is so clean !
Before loading the container the truck is inspected thoroughly
If they find even a little dirt in the truck, they will refuse to load their goods
Cleanliness matters a lot
Its food
This container is so clean from inside
Today I was carrying lettuce in my truck
So how do the American system ensure that vehicles are not overloaded?
I saw poles on the highways
They are electronic weigh scales
They can measure the load inside the running vehicle
First time I saw this system in Thailand
I was hitchhiking towards Chiang Mai, the northern part of Thailand
The driver took the truck in the extreme corner lane
but didn't stop
when asked, he said that it was an electronic weigh scale.
Does not require to stop the truck to measure the load
This is a device which is a part of this system
Whenever the electronic weigh scale sense that a vehicle is overloaded...
This device starts beeping with a red flasher
then you have to take your truck to the nearest weigh scale office...
which are located at regular distances on the highways
They are administered directly by the government
They will check your vehicle again
You will be allowed if they dont find any problem
but if it is overloaded, then you will have to take the extra load out of your truck
you can not move further without removing the extra load
then and there you have to arrange a separate vehicle to carry the extra load
This is how we can use the technology to ensure the vehicles running on our highways are not overloaded
After overspeeding and overloading, drunken driving is the biggest reason of road accidents in India
how do they ensure this in USA?
Whoever is caught drunk while driving...his/her license is confiscated on the spot.
yesterday he told me an interesting thing about how the drunk drivers are caught in USA
How can the common citizen contribute to this cause?
Though this is the job of the police, still how can the citizens help in catching the drunk drivers
In USA, they have a system for this
Anyone who finds a suspicious activity on the road can inform the police
how do they inform the police?
they call 911
this is a fantastic system in this country
one number for all kind of emergencies
so you can call 911 and inform them about the suspicious vehicle and its location
911 will inform the concerned areas police
this is how the concerned vehicle will be caught
what is the Penalty for drunken driving ?
first time, License is cancelled for 1 year
with a fine of 3000 USD
also have to undergo special classes
if you are issued 3 tickets for drunken driving then your commercial license is impounded for the lifetime
the crime rate comes down when there is a fear of heavy penalties in everyone's mind
this is not a regular travel video
but I am sharing an important experience while travelling
This is what I learnt from him on this trip
Something unexpected happened again
He is Mr Vikram
Where are you from Punjab?
Let me get my bags from the other truck
He belongs to Taran Taran, near Amritsar in Punjab
He will drop me in Philadelphia, which is closer to New York
from there I can get a bus ticket to New York in just 5 USD
he is probably going to reach Philadelphia today itself
Now I am almost there... New York :)
Let me take out the bags
He is going to say thanks on my behalf
You please take rest now
We will meet again
Call me after you reach there
Sure
Thanks a lot Mr Lakhbir
convey my thanks to Mr Preet Singh also
Welcome to New York

Here's Why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Have Stopped Holding Hands In Public - Duration: 2:22.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to be settling into married life nicely, and they've
had a packed schedule for their first few weeks as husband and wife.
They've been out and about at several events - both official and unofficial - since tying
the knot and they both look happier than ever.
But royal fans have noticed one change in their behaviour since their wedding - they
don't hold hands in public as much as they used to.
At their first engagements as an engaged couple they couldn't keep their hands off each other
and were constantly holding hands or putting their arms around each other.
It was lovely to see, and it was clear how happy and in love they were.
But even though they do hold hands occasionally now, it's far less often and obvious.
Etiquette expert William Hanson has explained why he thinks this is, and it's nothing to
do with it being against royal protocol.
As well as holding hands, the couple were seen putting their arms around each other
and generally being affectionate during the early days of their relationship.
He says it's probably a confidence thing now Meghan is getting to grips with her new role.
Speaking to Mail Online , he said: "Prince Harry has probably felt less of a need to
hold Meghan's hand as she seems to be much more confident and secure in her new role,
and so needs less emotional and physical support from her now-husband."
However while it is not banned in the royal rule book, they also need to be professional
when out and about on official visits.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also seem to stick to this rule, and they're rarely
seen holding hands during official visits.
Myka Meier , the founder of Beaumont Etiquette, told People : "The likely reasoning is more
that while travelling on a tour, technically the couple are working representatives of
British Monarchy.
"The couple are likely to show very little PDA, if any, to remain professional during
their designated roles abroad."
However when they're technically off duty, such as when the family attend church on Christmas
morning, we see more intimate moments between Kate and Wills, and it's likely the same with
happen with the Sussexes.

I know who you are.

I don't feel better!
I don't feel peace!
You've seen the building, she is our only way in.
No, there's gotta be another way.
Like what?
What, you're afraid your little girlfriend is gonna get hurt?
We finally have an opportunity to get him back and what?
You don't want to because...of her?
Because deep down inside you still care about her, don't you?
How did she die?
Car crash.
I had to see you.
-Which one of you is in charge? -It's my intake.
I got it, thank you.
Do you regret it?

Aubameyang Makes Promise To Arsenal Fans - Duration: 1:55.
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that he missed chances on Saturday but says that he will be better in their next match which will be against West Ham United
The Arsenal team was welcomed at the Stamford Bridge by Chelsea and they defeated the gunners 3-2 after a poor display from the North Londoners and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was among the under performers in that match as he missed some clear chances
This is the first time in which the Arsenal fans have been disappointed in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang because those chances he missed would have seen Arsenal win Saturday's match 4-3 if he converted them but it was a un lucky day for him
The former Borussia Dortmund star must also have felt guilty after the match for missing those chances and he then took to Twitter to talk to the Arsenal fans and he says that he admits he missed but hopes for the better
Aubameyang wrote on Twitter:."Today i missed, tomorrow Must Be better!!".Even though the Arsenal fans are disappointed, they responded with words of encouragement to the Gabon international and we quote one saying that; "In Auba we trust, we all behind you bro
Surprisingly, it seems Arsenal's legend Ian Wright also saw the tweet and replied saying; "I still love you
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will have a chance to fix his mistakes next week when the gunners face West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium

Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur "Jewish Foods" (what I'm buying in advance and how I prep) - Duration: 11:33.
hi everyone its melissa here from little kosher lunch and today i really want to
talk to you about dinner and entertaining high holidays are coming up i
just went to the kosher supermarket which I go to periodically especially
before the holidays to kind of get in the mood and pick up a few special
things and they've already got all their Rosh Hashanah stuff out all the fancy
tablecloths are out so to that end I wanted to talk to you about being
prepared in advance for the holidays because I love Jewish foods for the
holidays and for me and my family that means Ashkenazi Jewish recipes like
brisket and noodle kugel and delicatessen and all of these foods are
really excellent for the high holidays because they're wonderful and easy to
make in advance they are made from items that you can buy in advance please
excuse my dog and her long nails we have a little bit of time before the holidays
are upon us so I wanted to talk to you about ways that I'm getting organized
checking my pantry freezer and refrigerator and I am stocking up and
getting ready this means that I'm using my secret weapon here this is a book
that I've been living by especially with back to school happening, confessions of an
organized homemaker this is not a Jewish book per se but it is a really it's like
a mommy's best friend so check it out if you haven't seen it before
I have tucked my little high holidays recipe cards into t his book and I've
been going through my recipe cards and just checking off what ingredients I
need to buy so I'm gonna take you through a little tour right here of
things that I'm buying and planning to serve for my high holidays to give you
some ideas and then at the end I'm going to show you how I'm preparing for my
kids for the high holidays and then I have a secret weapon if all else fails
that'll save you so over here this is my little noodle kugel station and so I
just wanted to show you how simple it is and how these are basically pantry
staples that I am buying well in advance of the holiday I have egg noodles golden
raisins cottage cheese and sour creams they last forever so you can buy them
well in advance sugar cinnamon corn flake topping for my noodle kugel
and then obviously there's a few other things like butter and eggs which
I always have on hand for this recipe I'll link up all my recipes below for
you but this is a really sentimental recipe it's one that you can make in
advance a day or two before the holidays if you're entertaining so you have a
very relaxed high holiday experience whether it's Rosh Hashanah breaking the
fast etc this packs wonderfully in a lunchbox so again if you haven't had it
before I love noodle kugel and it's like really
fattening and great and this is the one time of year that I make it over here
just some other things when I'm stocking apples dipped in honey I have a whole
video about this for your lunchboxes but apples keep really well in the fridge
I'm picking them up when I see them for a great price I picked up dried apple
rings today these are a must-have in my household for lunches snacking on a
cheese platter I'm stocking up on nuts for entertaining and having people over
carrots and carrots tzimmes is another recipe that a lot of people love for
Rosh Hashana carrots are a symbol for the start of the new year these keep
great they were on sale at Costco you can buy a 10-pound bag and just keep
them for weeks so these are my produce items that I'm stocking up and sharing
with you this is my honey area I want it to really be stocked with honey's for
Rosh Hashanah and dipping I have honey sticks for my lunch box and for
playdates I have spun honey which spreads
fabulously on a sandwich if you do Apple honey sandwiches I have the honey for
putting on a cheese platter with the honeycomb in it and these are also
really fun for individual portions if you have a little child over or for your
lunchbox these are the little Bonne Maman honeys
they are like the jellies and you can order those and I'll link them below so
these are great I'm stocked in this category also if you're doing
entertaining and a cheese platter these are all kosher cheese's that I found at
the supermarket this cute one is an Apple smoked Swiss cheese it's super
apropos for Rosh Hashanah I have a blue cheese that I love to do with
pomegranate seeds it's so delicious the contrast
goat cheese so stock your cheese drawer if you keep strict kosher all of these
will work for you and I found these at both my mainstream and kosher
supermarket this also is a pantry staple for us I
always want to make sure to stock grape juice for the children it makes them
have more fun for the holidays I have stocked up at Costco I bought my smoked
salmon this is the wild salmon that comes in a two pack I've spoken to some
of you about this I freeze my locks so I'm putting both of these in the freezer
I'm gonna pull one out the night before for the High Holidays and for packing
lunches because my daughter loves it you can use one now and freeze the other
don't let your locks go bad it freezes just fine this is a prepare ahead thing
that I'm doing if you're serving a luncheon or something like that I freeze
bagels it saves you a trip when it's crazy holiday time and these are the
mini bagels they're so charming great for lunches great for entertaining
children or great if you're having a buffet with lots of other foods you can
have just a little bagel and lox cream cheese I stocked up on it keeps in my
fridge in my freezer I threw these little mini potato knishes these are
great and they're Parv so you can serve them with a meat or a dairy menu and
these with a yellow mustard are super delicious as a starter and no work for
you you just pop them in the oven I love brisket I love brisket I love a
lot of brisket I love making brisket and taking to an umami if you've seen my
meal train videos and I like a good deal on brisket because brisket is very
expensive obviously if you are buying kosher meat you're just gonna order what
you want from your kosher butcher if you're not kosher or kosher style
there's a lot of opportunities to stock up on brisket at a great price which may
be happening in advance of any Jewish holidays at Costco I know this happens I
know they do prime meat sales and if you are willing to cut your own brisket I
wanted to show you what a whole brisket looks like because not everyone that I
know does this this is a whole prime brisket not Co
sure from Costco it was $4 a pound which is a screaming great deal and what
happens is when you get a brisket like this most people buy a half brisket
that's the flat end and here you can see there is the flat end and then there's
this more like mountainous and on this brisket with any whole brisket that you
buy there's gonna be some fat to trim so there's a little bit of waste but not
too much I would say the nicer end is the flat end so if I was sharing this
with another family I'd probably give them the flat end it cooks more evenly
there's a little more trimming and more sort of mountains and valleys of fat in
this other end but if you're like me and you really just don't mind doing the
work I would say that this is a way better deal than buying a half brisket
and if you see this on sale in advance I will often buy the whole thing I will
cut it in half I will cook half now for one holiday and I'll put the other half
away for another holiday later on in my freezer so I just make one cut with a
knife put half of it in the freezer this saves me a lot of time hunting for
brisket last minute and it also saves me money when I get it on a great deal on
sale for my brisket I went through my recipe card in advance to make sure I'm
stocked with everything I need I will again put this information below for you
but my brisket is just onions and onion soup mix if you're strict kosher Lipton
makes the kosher soup will have a distinction here even if you don't keep
kosher or you're not even Jewish this is such a great simple recipe I wrap my
brisket in a foil packet before I um before I close it up I put one or two
thinly sliced onions all over the fat the fatty side goes up onions all over
it sliced and I sprinkle with one or two packets of onion soup mix it's full of
all the salt and seasoning that you need and that bakes in a 350 degree oven for
you know depending on the thickness three hours four hours
in its little steamy packet and then you slice it against the green I always
serve hot hot horseradish with my brisket so I make sure to have that in
advance and usually this is a set it and forget it recipe so this is like great
if you're entertaining it's great if you're going to temple it can just be
there minding its little self you don't need to supervise it so much and I serve
it with rice that I make in my rice cooker so again simple dish not a lot of
prep and fussing this is a great high holiday food and it's great as leftovers
or you can make it the day before and rewarm it last but not least I wanted to
talk about delicatessen food and breaking the fast which I would say is
probably the most high-stress holiday for any Jewish mother who is hosting or
has hungry people in the house you don't have to be doing all of this preparation
call your local deli order your deli platters we usually do cold cuts or fish
platters and bagels get a great Jewish rye bread often if your order is enough
money if you're like entertaining a big crowd they will deliver it to your house
just sign the bill that is like really a time saver and a stress saver when it's
the High Holidays time the other thing in addition to checking all of these
foods in my pantry and stocking them in the freezer that I'm doing is I'm
getting out my platters my table cloths and making sure that all of that is
clean ready and that I have enough of it and last but not least I'm gonna go to
my books area because I think this is important as a mom of young kids we get
PJ library books and I always have a special bookshelf where I sort them by
holiday I pulled out my brush Hashanah books this one just came from PJ library
it's really sweet with lifts the flaps for young children I have this older one
how Rosh Hashana challah became round it's super cute on Rosh Hashanah and Yom
Kippur this is another nice children's picture
and this was a year or so ago from teaching library Jewish holidays all
year round this is an oldie but goodie this is poems for Jewish holidays and so
it's great for every Jewish holiday if you want to do a poem before bed for
your children a poem before going to services if you want to say something in
addition to a blessing or grace before the meal this has a lot of great
material in it and I want to wish you just a really happy low stress delicious
high holidays with your family whether you are religious and go to synagogue or
not I hope that you can make those memories with your family by cooking
some delicious Jewish foods this year take care

The plastic surgery addict, known as the Human Ken Doll, used the racist term twice in a chat with housemates
Show bosses handed him a formal warning over the gaffe and told him: "This word is highly offensive and very likely to cause significant offence
" But fans have claimed not enough action was taken and he doesn't deserve to keep his place on the show
In 2007, contestant Emily Parr, 19 at the time, was booted out for using the N-word

DIY ROOM DECOR IDEAS 2018 ( INDONESIA ) - Duration: 5:26.
hey guys welcome back to my channel
so it's been a while
and today I'm going to make DIY room decor
by the way thank you so much for 50k subscribers
hope you guys like this video
my future videos
and also my old videos
let's move on to the video
for those who love yogurt or jelly
after eating, don't throw away the cup
you can recycle it into a really cute room decoration
after the cup is clean
open the plastic label that wrapped the cup ( what does it called? )
and then you can decorate them with alphabet stickers
I have prepared white and red acrylic paints
first, use the red paint
apply to the bottom section of the canvas
around 4-5 cm
add white paint into the red paint and blend them together to create a lighter red
apply above the bottom section
you can do the same thing for the rest
it's going brighter upwards
here you can see there are some white spots
I don't know that my camera isn't recording so I don't have the footage
basically, all you have to do is to splash some white paint on the canvas
I want to write something motivating
I use my crayola broad line marker
I didn't expect that writing on a canvas is a lot harder than writing on a paper
if you use hand lettering technique
you still have to thicken the downstrokes manually
if you see that paper on the left side, it's the result if I'm doing it on a paper and it's far away from the one on the canvas
for the second canvas art
I use the same ombre technique like before
and then I use some white paint to create those leaves
honestly, do you think this kind of plant really exists?
lastly, I add some pink paint to create flower effects
I'm going to tell you guys how to make your own polaroid pictures at home
I'm using pages, if you're a windows user you can use microsoft word
choose a square on the shape feature
use regular polaroid pictures size ( 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm )
change the fill into no fill
use black border with 2pt
make the same one as many as you want
I wanna make polaroid pictures with pattern on it
so I'm searching for backgrounds that suit my pictures
insert the background picture, set the size
click right "send to back"
click right "edit mask"
adjust the size according to the polaroid picture template that we have made before
do the same to the rest of the pictures
print it on a photo paper and cut it out
and you're done
and ya guys that's all for today's video
hope you guys like it
don't forget to comment down below what video you want me to do next
make sure you have already clicked the notification bell so you won't miss any updates from my channel

Rosh Hashanah Playdate Activities for Preschoolers - Duration: 4:50.
hi everyone its melissa here from little kosher lunch and Happy New Year Rosh
Hashanah is upon us and I wanted to leave you with a few ideas for
activities if you have young children like I do I have two activities for you
today the first one is kind of a beautiful one it's a little I made a
little vignette of Rosh Hashanah items apples and honey in particular this
beautiful pomegranate here and I even have a little flower arrangement set up
on the kids table with some fall greens some roses and these are little crab
apple branches and this is a still life drawing activity so it's really great if
you have an older child who has the art skills but it's totally okay for a
younger child who's starting to do circles and can work on apples with a
circle and a stem I make it a little bit more fun by including Rosh Hashanah
appropriate stickers you can use Apple stickers I love these bees bee stickers
are really fun when you're doing pictures of bee hives and honey my girls
really love these little delicate bees so for any type of child at any skill
level you can do this activity with them and they can describe for you what they
see and use the words for the different symbols of pomegranates apples and honey
you could draw it for them or you can let them do their own art at their own
level add in stickers if it's helpful for your younger child and this is a
little Rosh Hashanah playdate if your kids are in a religious school and
they're learning their Hebrew alphabet I also love this set of really inexpensive
foam block stamps it comes with an ink pad that will quickly run out of ink so
get extra ink but your kids can start writing Rosh Hashanah writing their
names in Hebrew this is a great little Judaica craft item to have in your
household if that's something that your family does next I'm going to show you
one other very inexpensive Rosh Hashanah activity and I'll see you over there in
the family room here we are in the family room and this is the second
activity that I have done for a Rosh Hashanah playdate it's also great to do
in advance of the holiday to get your kids in the mood
knowing their symbols for the holiday this is a felt board it's just an easel
that we already owned with the little clippies that come with it and I bought
a half yard or so of black felt at the craft store and several sheets of felt
to do my shapes if you don't have an easel they also sell sometimes these
placemat size sheets I think they carry these at Michaels and
these are a really nice thing to have on an airplane or at a table if you sit at
a table to do the activity and I keep in this room a basket of all of my
different felt board stories Hanukkah felt with a hanukiyah and candles and
latkes this one is super fun I've also made non Jewish ones like the wheels on
the bus I have a sandwich set that's really fun I've made a little Shabbat
set recently that my girls love so it goes on and on for Rosh Hashanah I have
a little baggie filled with my Rosh Hashanah shapes you can buy these for
maybe 20 cents a sheet of the different colored felts at the craft store and a
little goes a long way I've done little honey pots with dvash written in Hebrew
it even has spilled honey that my girls think is super funny and they use that
spilled honey for dipping their apples these fancier apples are just two half
circles of felt one glued on to the other and I made apple seeds with a
sharpie this was a little bit advanced normally I just do a single sheet of
felt but it's fun they take out the apple slice and they like to dip it I
have leaves for my apples I have a pomegranate I have for Rosh Hashanah
the round challah which has raisins my kids got to do this with the sharpie I
have cut out shofars in different colors I think that's all we ended up with for
this set so very simple as much as you have time to do I do recommend if you're
having friends over I use what I have and I make a double set if possible it's
really a nice thing if a friend comes over to play and they enjoy this you can
send it home with a friend for pennies basically and just a little bit of your
time so thank you so much for joining me
today Rosh Hashanah is such a you know exciting fresh start to the year and a
really memorable holiday for me when I was a child I'm trying to do the same
for my kids whether it's in a lunchbox or at home doing activities I hope
you'll consider these ideas and definitely let me know below if any of
them work or you try them I would love to hear from you

Rosh Hashanah Themed Lunchbox Ideas (Dairy Lunches) - Duration: 6:31.
happy new year everyone and happy Rosh Hashanah its melissa here from little
kosher lunch and I wanted to thank you for watching today and thank you if
you're returning to my channel if you're new here please hit subscribe and give
this video a big thumbs up if it's helpful to you I wanted to talk to you
about Rosh Hashanah because Rosh Hashanah is upon us I know
everyone has their calendars marked and you can't believe it's already here
today I wanted to discuss with you all different kinds of ideas using
traditional Rosh Hashanah foods I know in my family we're not super religious
but there are a lot of memories that I have as a kid going back to school and
celebrating Rosh Hashanah and I think it's a lot of fun to carry through those
themes and symbols into the lunchbox as well as to have some fun ideas to share
and serve to your family either over the holidays if you're entertaining or for a
Rosh Hashanah playdate which we've been known to have when we have all those
days off from school so I'm gonna show a crazy selection of foods to you today
you don't have to get this crazy but I wanted to give you a lot of inspiration
and at the end I'm gonna share with you a sample lunchbox that's the kind of
thing that I would pack for my preschool age daughter so starting very simply
apples dipped in honey for Rosh Hashanah is the song lyric and it is a classic
and loved food by my family and my children I just very thinly sliced my
apples wafer thin and I serve honey loose or you can get fancy and get
things like the honey that has the honeycomb in it if you're serving a
platter with guests it's so gorgeous and festive for the holiday you can get
honey sticks for lunch boxes and play dates these are a little bit fancier
this brand was available at my market they're a little splurge that I think says
something special about the holiday for your kids that you're thinking of them
and they're easy and fun for kids to eat up these kinds of spun honey's spread
really well so you have so many choices when you go to the market I've assembled
this cheese board here today because apples and cheese go really well as do
cheese and honey so this is a really fun entertaining sort of scheme and it's
something that I would pull from as well to make a lunchbox where it's like a
little happy hour in a lunchbox with cheese and fruit and dried fruits nuts
if you can take those to school crackers and such so this idea can really
translate well into the lunchbox and again if you're a kid and you're a
little bit picky you can pick and choose from this to eat what it is that you
like over Rosh Hashanah there's a lot of round foods symbolizing you know coming
full circle with the New Year and foods with sweet things in them like raisins
in our challah just challah dipped in honey is another tradition and something
that you could offer in a lunchbox I love tiny foods like a tiny challah and
I also love tiny apples I make batches and trays of crimson gold
apples which are a little tiny crab apple size I slice core them out with a
little melon baller and bake them I also love these lunchbox sized apples these
are usually cheaper at the market because they're smaller and a little bit
hard to work with if you're making like a pie but if you're doing baked apples
you just cut a paring knife around the stem take that out like a little cap
scoop out the center with your melon baller and then you can stuff that with
sweet things butter cinnamon sugar raisins put the little stem end back in
and bake those in a water bath at 350 until they're soft these pack great in
the lunchbox or we serve them for dessert in my family even with a scoop
of vanilla ice cream sometimes another Rosh Hashanah symbol that I love for a
lunchbox is the pomegranate I will usually you know open one up completely
take the seeds out and use them all week long these are super beautiful in a
lunch box and you can even put them on a slice of bread spread with cream cheese
the cream cheese acts as a glue and then you have this little jeweled sandwich
you can do them open-faced my daughter's love them I love apple butter and
strangely I associate it with my childhood it's a great food for Rosh
Hashanah it's great to put on rice cakes you can add do like a double
apple sandwich with apples and apple butter I also have my cream cheese out
here because I think cream cheese and apples are a great match and you can do
little finger sandwiches with just cream cheese and apple or add a layer of honey
on there as well dried fruits are great dried apple rings are super popular in
my household as are golden raisins which I use just loose and for baking these
are probably the simplest thing on the table these are my steamed apples that I
just peel core and put in a pot of water on the stove they are in their own
cooking liquid which is the water that has taken on the apple flavoring I even end
up with extra juice at the end which I save and put in the fridge for my girls
once it's cooled it's like drinking fresh apple juice although it's not pure
squeezed juice so it's a little bit less calories and sugar but so
refreshing and you know exactly what's in it because you made it here is the
lunchbox for you I put a little fishy on here as a reminder that a fish head is a
symbol during Rosh Hashanah you could carry that theme through by packing a
tuna sandwich or I don't know whatever your kids like that's fishy my daughter
loves fish everything I have put because they're very juicy my cooked apples in
this planet boxe pod with a watertight lid
these are super refreshing if it's hot when you go back to school in September
I've packed a little cheese platter sampler here this is with crackers
cheese a fig and these are some little quinoa cheese puffs we're trying out
that has a little protein in it carrots are another one of the symbols for Rosh
Hashanah I've put carrots and thinly sliced celery in here and then for
additional apples I have my apple cream cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread
with the crust cut off and some dried golden raisins for added
sweetness you could throw in a little honey stick or anything else your heart
desires go with what appeals to your kid but just keep in mind that Rosh Hashanah
is a fun and exciting a new beginning sort of time of year that usually
coincides with the start of school you can carry all of that through in your
lunchbox and I thank you so much for joining me today

Sophie Turner Gushes About 'Future Sister-in-Law' Priyanka Chopra: 'Beautiful, Inside and Out' - Duration: 4:10.
Sophie Turner can't wait to have Priyanka Chopra as a future sister-in-law. The Game of Thrones star, who is engaged to Joe Jonas, couldn't help but gush about how Joe's brother Nick Jonas is engaged to Chopra
"First I'm blessed with an incredible future brother-in-law, and now such [a] beautiful, inside and out, future sister-in-law," Turner, 22, wrote on Instagram, Saturday
"I'm so excited to welcome you into the family @priyankachopra . I love you both @nickjonas
" Her loving message came with a picture of the future Mr. and Mrs. Nick Jonas, which showed the pair embracing as she placed her hand (and massive engagement ring) on his chest
Hours earlier, Nick, 25, and Chopra, 36, both confirmed their engagement on Instagram
"Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love," he wrote in the caption, while the Bollywood star swooned, "Taken
With all my heart and soul." Their post comes three weeks after PEOPLE broke the news that Nick had proposed after shutting down Tiffany and Co
's London store to buy her stunning engagement ring. According to a source, Nick popped the question in July while celebrating the Quantico actress' 36th birthday in London
"They are so happy," the insider said of the future spouses, who began dating in May
"His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they're all really excited for him
He's definitely very serious about her," a separate source added. Turner wasn't the only one celebrating Nick's big news on Saturday
Joe, 29, also had nice things to say, writing on Twitter, "I couldn't be happier for my brother
Welcome to the family @priyankachopra We love you 🤗." Nick had been equally congratulatory about Joe and Turner's engagement when they announced their big news back in October (the two had been dating since November 2016)
"Yes," he wrote on Instagram, commenting on a photo of Turner's hand (and engagement ring) on top of Joe's hand
"Ahh! Congratulations to my brother… and sister in law to be on your engagement," Nick added in his own post on Twitter
"I love you both so much." Meanwhile, as Turner and Joe sent their love from afar, Nick and Joe's parents Denise and Kevin, Sr
were up close and personal, celebrating their son's happy news in Chopra's home country of India
On Saturday, the Jonas parents united for the first time with Chopra's mother Madhu and her brother Siddharth at a Hindu prayer ceremony and engagement party for Nick and Chopra
Photos of their happy meeting were shared to Chopra's Instagram page, showing the full family smiling together in front of a custom "NP" logo (for Nick and Priyanka)
"The only way to do this… with Family and God," she wrote. "Thank you all for your wishes and blessings 🙏🏼♥️🎉" Added Kevin, Sr
on Instagram: "So happy for the engagement of our son @nickjonas and we welcome @priyankachopra into our family with love and excitement
