Hello everyone and welcome to my FAQ number 50 from Norway

That's the road over there, these are my kids and my wife

Yeah, so this FAQ is gonna be a little bit different

Obviously, I'm not in Sweden and in my office, I'm here, which is ... different, I guess.

I'm actually on vacation together with my family

So, I thought I would just make it from here and just, you know, see the sights while answering your questions

"Ciao Ola, I was wondering, would you show us a bit of your vlogging setup and how you edit your videos?"

For vlogging, I'm simply just using my iPhone X to film everything and ...

I mean, the camera is more than enough for vlogging

And recently I also bought this Osmo Gimbal as well

Which I use to ... You know, stabilize the movement on my iPhone

So, whenever I want a steady shot, I use the Gimbal, or I just take up the iPhone and film by hand

And for all the drone shots, I have this Mavic Air that I also recently bought

which is really small and awesome

When you fold it in, it becomes so small

And it's my first drone, so I'm very proud about my drone and it shoots amazing video, I must say

So I'm very happy about my drone, so yeah ...

That's what I'm using for vlogging at the moment. So, there you go.

"Where did you come up with that Solar design by the way (the logo)?"

Oh, nature, boy.

Yeah, my wife drew that logo for me back in ... I think it was 2010 or 2011

At first it was the solar sign for Ola Englund

And if you figure it out, it has O-L-A in it somewhere

And now I've decided to make that logo a part of Solar Guitars instead

So I'm not personally gonna use the logo anymore, it's a Solar Guitar thing now.

So, there you go, my wife designed it. How nice of her, huh?

My favorite album of theirs is Periphery II, I just think it's the most complete album of theirs

So yes, I do enjoy Periphery every once in a while and ...

Well, it actually started with Jari actually buying a couple of guitars, without me even knowing

And then he contacted me and he gave me his opinions about the guitar and he loves the guitars

And he gave me some opinions about the Evertune bridge. That was really insightful.

That I haven't really been thinking about before, so that was awesome

And since then he's ordered even more guitars. So I'm happy to say that he seems like he likes the guitars

And I'm very proud and happy about that.

He has a video out where he compares the Duncan Solar pickups with the EMG 81 pickups.

Okay, so, Jari of Wintersun, that's awesome.

Yeah, I'm using two types of guitar picks. I'm using this one, I don't know if you can see it.

It's a Sculpted Plectra, Dunlop 1.4 and then I also use the regular small Tortex 1.14

These Tortex 1.14, is like the standard guitar pick that I use

And sometimes I use these Plectra 1.4, they're really good for shredding basically, I like to have that.

But yeah, so there you go.

Those are the picks that I use.

And look at the view here, it's absolutely amazing.

Very majestic, I love it.

So, Swedish word of the day: Runka Bulle.

Which is a game in Sweden where you, as a gang of guys obviously

Stand over a cinnamon bun and jerk off basically

The point of the game is to jerk off as quickly and come as quickly as possible over the cinnamon bun

And the one that comes last ...

Has to eat the cinnamon bun.

And ... Now you're thinking ...

I did such a good job getting all the women to my channel

I'm not too familiar with Jacob, to be honest. I've heard a bit of his playing.

I know he's an awesome player, I met him at Namm.

But David Maxim Micic and his Bilo number 3 ...

What the hell is that? Oh, it's a f***ing waterfall.

That's why I can't hear shit here

Yeah, so, I heard Bilo 3.0 and I was so inspired by that short EP

and it's almost like listening to anime soundtracks again in some way.

I mean, I really liked the musicianship that he did for that EP

And it actually inspired me so much that I wrote Solar Part 1

So, definitely a very big inspiration for me.

And Plini, I have an awesome story, when we toured with The Haunted in Australia

He came out to our Sydney show and he was in the pit.

Respect for that. And I met him afterwards, the next day, we had a cup of coffee ...

I really enjoy his music too, I mean it's really like ...

Really good 'feel-good music'

And now that we've been travelling through Norway I've had a chance to listen to both David and Plini again

And it's just perfect travelling music, I must say. it's like really really easygoing music.

So yeah, If you have not checked out David Maxim Mici, Plini or Jacob, do so because it's definitely worth it.

I don't think it's a problem. I mean, it's ... you have to understand that everyone starts somewhere.

And even if I'm happy with ...

Like, a shredder playing a Solar guitar on YouTube, you know, really like shredding it out. I mean ...

It's not a shredders' guitar, it's a guitar for everyone.

And it's not about competition either. It's like ... it's about having fun.

And you know, finding a guitar that suits you and your needs basically.

So, beginner, pro ...

Doesn't matter everyone's a good advocate for Solar Guitars.

So there you have it, best salesman's pitch ever.

I should probably burp just to ... rectify that.

The play that started a riot - Duration: 5:05.

Have you ever watched a movie that was obviously changed by the studio

against the wishes of the writer?

Where the producers have clearly interfered and changed it beyond all recognition?

If the writer was credited as Alan Smithee, you almost certainly have,

because that's the name used by Hollywood when the real person disowns the movie.

This is not a new thing,

and in fact this kind of interference was going on long before the invention of cinematography.

For example: in 1823 the German writer Heinrich Heine wrote a play called "Almansor",

about a Muslim and a Christian who fall in love.

Yup, that's right: nearly 100 years ago, Heine tackled the issue

of religious and racial conflict.

He set his play in Grenada at the turn of the 16th century,

just at the time that Christians had finally succeeded

in taking southern Spain from the Muslims.

One scene depicts a real event:

in 1499, the Archbishop of Toledo, Jimémez, ordered the burning of Islamic books,

except for medical texts.

And this is the origin of Heine's most famous line:

"That was but a prelude. Where they burn books, they will ultimately burn people as well."

You might know the quote, but you may not have heard of the play that it comes from.

And that's because it was only ever performed once.

And it was a disaster.

It was at the National Theatre in Braunschweig, and it was on August 20th 1823.

Exactly what happened and why is not known with any certainty,

because there were no journalists there at the time.

Critics had been given a preview of the play, and most of them liked it,

so it's not clear why the play's opening night ended in a riot.

What we do know is that director had made lots of changes to the script.

And we know that Heine was not very happy about that.

And later, for whatever reason, the audience was also not very happy.

According to at least one report, very soon after the play began,

audience members started jeering and whistling.

Whether that was because of the changes made to the script or something else completely different,

that's something that we can only guess at.

The most common theory is that it had something to do with antisemitism:

Heinrich Heine was born a Jew, although he did then convert to Christianity.

But maybe large sections of the audience were there purely

to protest against the play's basic message of tolerance.

European society at the time was very sharply divided

between the Conservatives, who wanted to restore everything

to what it was before the French Revolution;

and the Liberals, who wanted to set up a proper republic.

And Heine was definitely a Liberal.

One of the actors later claimed that during the play

one audience member asked another who the author was,

and received the reply: "The Jew Heine!"

Now, it just so happened that in Braunschweig at the time

there was a Jewish money-changer with that name.

And so this audience member said very loudly, for everyone to hear:

"What? We're listening to that stupid Jew's nonsense?

We're not going to stand for that!"

And according to the story, that is when it all kicked off.

Things got so bad that the play was abandoned,

and then never performed again.

In fact, this is, as far as anyone knows, the only one of Heinrich Heine's plays

to be performed on stage — at least while he was still alive.

Not only that, but after all the things that happened to his "Almansor",

and in particular the supreme irony

in having his plea for tolerance give way to a fist-fight,

Heine never wrote another play again.

He turned instead to poetry.

in my mind I daydreamed about a purple palace inside of it I put all of the

objects and thoughts I ever had and unlike my head it never ran out of space

it's where I can go and people never ask why unless they're really just are

curious I don't know where it is but I know it has gold ceiling fans and

broccoli trees and it can fit inside of the palm of my hand it doesn't expect

anything but every time I bring it something new it's very grateful and

expands its imaginary hands when other people ask me what I'm making I tell

them it's a present for the purple palace they not because it's not

something to misunderstand

this summer I've been in the art studio working on an upcoming film making giant

props and sets wishing I could try out this swing it's a really cool feeling to

be a part of something

see my work lit up from the inside

but what I love the most is the magic and wonder that comes from bringing to

life to make believe it's like how this cake is mostly made out of shaving cream

because it doesn't melt under the lights

but to be honest I am most happy when it's just me in the studio with hot glue

listening to podcasts mixing plaster

Here I am drinking loads of coffee

Here I am reading some old art books

trying to get five minute abs

it's July and I like working with my hands

I want you to know that you're here for a reason and so am i it's okay it feel

different to not want to smile all the time it's okay to cry maybe you don't

even know what I mean I've kept a diary since I was fourteen one day I wrote I

love my family I love my friends but my home is my head it's the best place I

know

Our primary concern is always the orca Morgan and the story of her life.

She was an animal that got separated from her family group and she spent quite a long time alone.

She then went through a rehabilitation process after having undergone something very traumatic.

Well, this whole life story could affect

this new experience of being a mom for the first time.

In the case of Morgan, the situation is a bit special, first,

it will be Morgan's first baby. Also considering the fact that Morgan

was an animal in distress and that she is deaf, we need to have more control over the situation than normally.

Additionally, she had never seen a delivery of any other animal before.

What will happen on the day of birth?

Like in everything, the result could be good or not good.

And we have prepared a protocol to be ready for different situations.

Most of the times, when the baby is born, it goes up to the surface to start breathing

and then goes back to swim with its mother.

If there are any difficulties that produced during the birth, we have prepared medication that might be needed.

We also have a system of separating the animal in a soft manner

by bringing it to a different pool with a special movable floor in case we need to bring it up.

If after all, we continue difficulties with the baby, for example in the case the mother

does not have enough milk or that the quality of the milk is not on the level,

we prepared artificial milk whose quality gets tested and evaluated every year, we know the amount of proteins,

fats, minerals, vitamins that it should contain, and with the experience that we have in this park,

we know that it is possible to help the baby to grow by giving him artificial milk.

We have a perfect example with Adam here.

We know that the immune system of babies is very poor in the beginning of their life.

They obtain more immunity, which is called passive immunity,

from the colostrum or milk from the mother. So this passive immunity

will protect the baby for about a month or four or five weeks.

Then the baby starts to create its own immune system little by little.

But it will take a few months or a year to be at the same level as that of an adult.

We hope that in September we will have a new super healthy orca and

a mother like Morgan, super happy about her new baby.

New Sports in the Asian Games 2018 - Duration: 3:23.

Ten new Sports in Asian Games 2018 Before we begin make sure to subscribe, so

you will be updated of our latest video.

The following are ten new sports that will make their debut to the Asian Games.

These are: Rock Climbing, Paragliding, Kurash, Sambo, Jiu Jitsu, Pencak Silat, Jet Skiing,

3 on 3 Basketball, Bridge, and Roller sports.

Roller sports have two categories skateboarding and roller skating.

Demonstration sports These are sports that are promoted in a sporting

event.

The medals gained from these competitions are not added to the official tally.

There are two demonstration sports in the 2018 Asian Games.

Number 1.

Canoe polo or Kayak polo.

Canoe polo is considered as a competitive discipline of Kayaking.

There are two teams competing for every game.

Each team has five players with up to three substitutes.

While riding their canoes, players use their paddles or hands to shoot the canoe ball in

their opponent's goal.

Number 2.

Electronic Sports or E-sports.

Out of the 45 nations, 27 participated in the qualifiers.

From the 27, 18 counries made it.

The qualification round was competed online, offline or a mix of both formats.

The games to be played are Arena of Valor, Clash Royale, Hearthstone, League of Legends,

Pro Evolution Soccer and Starcfraft II.

Electronic Sports will be formally included in the next Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

To me, it's interesting to see Bridge and eSports as part of the Asian Games because

they are not the usual athletic sports that we are used to.

These sports are mind games just like Chess, which makes me wonder why Chess was not included

in the Asian Games.

However, the inclusion of eSports makes the 2018 Asian games unique from other games in

the world.

By the way, the oldest athlete that will be competing in Bridge is 81-year-old Lee Hung

Fong of Malaysia.

The great thing about Bridge is that it has no age discrimination.

Two other elderly who will join Fong is 79 year-old Rita Choksi of India and 74 year

old Michael Bambang Hortono, the richest man in Indonesia.

Hortono competing in Bridge, is now a part of history of the 2018 Asian Games,

It is also exciting to watch the debut of three new combat sports specifically Kurash,

Sambo and Jiu-Jitsu.

Kurash is a traditional Uzbekistan martial art which resembles wrestling.

Sambo is Russian which means "self-defence without weapons."

It's a combination of wrestling, judo, jiu-jitsu and boxing.

Jiu-jitsu is a Japanese martial art which is popular in the world.

In this sport, punches and kicks are not allowed.

To win, one needs to make the opponent submit by grappling, trapping, joint locking and

holding.

So these are the sporting events we can expect in the 2018 Asian Games.

Tom is a grey and white domestic shorthair cat. Jerry is a small, brown, house mouse who always lives in close proximity to Tom.

Although cats typically chase mice to consume them, it is quite rare for Tom to actually try to consume Jerry.
