Over the last week we have received 2 new trailers for Battlefield V, one doing significantly
better than the later.
I'm almost certain that the reason we have received additional trailers is due to the
current lack of pre-orders Battlefield V is facing at the moment.
With the lack of marketing and huge backlash from the community, I personally believe that
this game will undersell far more than any other game before it and one of the biggest
reasons for that is due to its target audience.
If you go watch their most recent trailer titled, Battlefield 5 - Official 'The Company'
Trailer, you'll see that their main focus is clearly on the opposite sex.
Now I'm all for bringing females to the Battlefield but advertising them as your main
focus alienates every other fan of the franchise that has been with you since the beginning.
I don't mind giving players the option between choosing their gender but when you shove it
down a person's throat, they are bound to regurgitate it.
So quite frankly I'm not surprised that Battlefield V is doing so poorly, they need
to learn that if they advertise a game as a WWII shooter, they better make it in a way
that does that setting justice.
Honestly I don't think people have a problem with gender diversity, they have a problem
with how DICE forces it upon their fans.
I find it extremely hard to believe that there were Asian females in the British forces during
WWII.
The sad fact is that even those women were forced to work in brothels and were known
as comfort women that were sold to slavery.
I'd personally respect the game more if they could tackle controversial subjects like
that to let people know that WWII was a bloody mess.
Instead they lessen the impact of the war by making it all inclusive.
Did females fight in WWII?
Yes, in fact some of the best soldiers were woman but this didn't happen on the frontlines.
I think DICE's biggest problem is how they are too scared to answer their own daughter's
questions.
If she's under the age of 18, she shouldn't be playing the game anyway.
If she's a little older than that, she should already know the history behind WWII.
This gives me the impression that DICE is willing to create a false history in order
to advertise their game towards social justice warriors, in hopes to get more sales, it's
ironic how that ended up working out.
So far every step EA and DICE have taken has clearly been in the wrong direction.
Battlefield V is lagging behind Call of Duty by 85%, at this point Battlefield 3 and Battlefield
4 were only 20% behind Call of Duty.
Battlefield 1 was actually leading in sales against Infinite Warfare.
Take note that Black Ops 4 isn't masterpiece either.
In fact Black Ops 4 seems to be going in the direction of one of the most disappointing
Black Ops games of all time, so the fact that Battlefield is lagging that far behind is
a huge testament to how the majority of the fans feel.
Don't be surprised when Battlefield V's servers are severely under populated.
DICE did this to themselves even when everything else was looking very promising, I for one
am still going to wait to see how the game performs after a few weeks but at this point
I have no desire to support these developers as long as they keep shoving their agenda
down our throats.
If Battlefield V plays better than Battlefield 1, I'll think about getting it but I believe
we're heading towards another big disappointment, similar to what we saw with Battlefield Hardline
and even on occasion, Battlefield 1.
It's sad because I really wanted Battlefield V to do well, especially after hearing that
the premium membership was scrapped so everyone could experience all the potential DLCs but
right now I think I've got bigger things to worry about and the money I spend on a
new game would be better served by going towards a new car or even rent at the end of the month.
So let me know how you feel about all this controversy in the comments below but for
now I hope you enjoyed this video, smash that like button if you did and hopefully I'll
see you in the next one.

Top 10 Video Games That Are Just Ads - Duration: 9:03.
Advergames were pretty popular during the 90's; these were games who were packaged
as a fun time, but whose sole purpose was to get you to purchase another product.
Generally in terms of form they would resemble other titles that were popular at the time,
giving their own capitalist take on side scrollers like Mario or top down RPGs like Pokemon.
And some of these titles are actually quite adored, despite their shameless pandering.
So today, we're taking a closer look at these games with our list of the top 10 video
games that are just ads!
10 Cool Spot (7-Up) Most advergames make use of their company's
mascot, typically as the game's protagonist.
So when 7-Up decided to release a game for the Sega Genesis and the Mega Drive, they
went with their brand's mascot, Cool Spot, as the playable character.
He's a red spot with sunglasses and hands and feet.
How charismatic.
A single player platformer (which is a bit of a trend with these 90s advergames, you'll
notice), Cool Spot runs, jumps and attacks enemies by throwing soda bubbles at them.
You need to collect spots as you progress, and if you collect enough you unlock a bonus
stage of that level.
You can also collect the letters to spell the world UNCOLA, which was 7-Up's slogan
at the time.
The best part was, this game actually got ported to a bunch of different systems, and
THEN it got a sequel, called Spot Goes to Hollywood, an isometric game that was horrifically
difficult to play, and was highly criticized for being highly monotonous.
9 World Gone Sour World Gone Sour is the most recent game on
our list; published in late 2011, this giant playable add for Sour Patch Kids candy puts
you in the gummy shoes (feet?) of a green Sour Patch Kid who wishes to be eaten after
he falls out of his package of Sour Patch Kids at the start of the game.
Aside from having a very masochist concept, the game has some serious little big Planet
vibes, and you can actually recruit other Sour Patch Kids to help you as you go.
It got mediocre reviews, with most people being frustrated that the cost of the game,
five dollars, wasn't worth how short the game was, and that despite having good mechanics,
grim humour and entertaining cut scenes, it really felt like a glorified commercial.
8 Kool-Aid Man Who doesn't want to run around as the Kool-Aid
Man and shout OH YEAAAAH at your screen while you do it?
Apparently Kool-Aid saw the potential there and crafted a game with Mattel for the Atari
2600 where you could do exactly that.
Well, sort of.
Initially only available through mail-order, the game didn't allow you to play as the
Kool-Aid Man at first.
Instead, you play as two children walking through a house (of an immense size may I
add) to find get to the Kool-Aid in order to drink it, all while avoiding touching enemies
who could move around through walls and floors.
And drinking the kool-aid wasn't all that rewarding.
Although, once you've completed your task and have consumed all the kool-aid in the
house, the Kool Aid Man who burst through a brick wall in all of his weird pixelated
glory.
ONLY THEN have you unlocked playing at the Kool-Aid Man, whose goal is to catch the flying
fruit passing through the house (which you're also able to pass through, making the house
a little irrelevant at that point in the game).
But hey, who said you have to put effort into crafting a video game?
7 Yo!
Noid The Noid is perhaps one of the weirdest food
mascots out there.
If you were alive back in 1987, you may remember that this strange little man creature character
was the mascot for Domino's Pizza, which used the tag line avoid the noid!
The noid was supposed to be a physical manifestation of all the challenges that come with getting
a pizza delivered in 30 minutes or less, apparently.
He would go out of his way to thwart your delivery, but always failed.
So playing this character who is fated to always be a failure is exactly what you'd
want from a video game, right?
At least on that intellectual level.
He ain't no Hamlet, that's for damn sure.
Anywho, Yo!
Noid was YET AGAIN another 2D platformer, and instead of being the bad guy, this time,
the mayor of New York City calls up the Noid to get him to stop his evil duplicate, and
in exchange his reward is a massive pizza.
The game, just like many others on this list, was pretty awful, but on the flip side (quite
literally) you got a one dollar Domino's coupon on the back cover of the instruction
manual.
6 Chester Cheetah: Too Cool to Fool Do you LOVE Cheetos?
Is Chester Cheetah YOUR IDOL?
DO YOU WANT TO COLLECT CHEETOS AND PLAY VIDEO GAMES?
THEN CHESTER CHEETAH TOO COOL TO FOOL IS THE GAME FOR YOU!
The slickest coolest cat with 'tude is who you control in this game.
Chester plays guitar!
Chester rhymes unnecessarily!
And Chester acts super-duper cool.
It's by no means a good game, but for those invested in the novelty or nostalgia, it's
entertaining in the least.
You also get to control Chester on a weird motorized skateboard at some points, too.
5 MC Kids It should be no surprise that in its history,
McDonalds at one point released an advergame.
Not that its ever really needed the promotional help, though, or at least back in 1992.
Initially made for the NES, you play as one of two children (or both in 2 player) who
venture into McDonaldland, a fantasy world in which they must return Ronald McDonald's
magical bag that was stolen by the Hamburglar.
Created by 4 people over the course of 8 months, it surprisingly received decent scores from
critics, with one critic from gamepro even stating that it had some great features that
Mario, which it was clearly inspired by, lacked.
4 America's Army It's not just blatant product placement
that advergames can be used for; video games have been used as a recruitment tool in the
past, too.
Such is the case with America's Army; a first person shooter game that was published
in 2002 by the US Army as a 'strategic communication device' that allowed players to experience
what being in the Army was like.
It was the first use of game technology that the US military had ever used, and it was
highly criticized by some to be propaganda for the army, despite also receiving really
strong reviews and awards for how well-crafted it was.
There have also been a handful of sequels, too.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America%27s_Army 3 Darkened Skye
Darkened Sky is an attempt at banking off of the fantasy RPG genre by crafting an advergame
that features some not so subtle product placement.
What product does it shamefully boast?
Skittles.
Yes, because seamlessly integrated skittles into an RPG quest is something that totally
works.
Essentially you collect Skittles in order to unlock your magical abilities.
It's painful.
The story follows a girl named Skye who is searching for her mother throughout a fantasy
realm, and apparently it's concept was inspired by the Skittles taste the rainbow commercials.
When the game was finished, Simon and Schuster, one of the companies behind it, considered
taking the skittles out of the game altogether, but it was so ingrained in the game's script
that they couldn't.
Despite this, they decided to not have any mention of skittles on the box art for the
game, which almost made it weirder for those purchasing it without having any idea that
it was a giant ad.
2 Sneak King (Burger King) Sneak King may not be the most diverse game
out there in theory, but in execution, it's absolutely hilarious.
You play the The King, Burger King's mascot, being the ULTIMATE SUPER CREEPY CREEP sneaking
around delivering unsuspecting hungry people food from Burger King, in a sort of spy versus
spy style game.
You fail if an NPC is alerted by your presence.
It's just too damn good.
And as much as we knock this game, it did serve its purpose; Burger King's sales increased
by 40% after the game was released.
It also sold millions of units despite receiving poor review from critics, but like, c'mon,
can you blame it for doing so well?
It's amazing.
1 Pepsiman Pepsiman is ridiculous.
So for context, back in the mid 90s, Pepsi created a mascot for it's Japanese corporate
branch that was designed by a Canadian comic book artist.
His whole schitck was to show up whenever someone was thirsty Pepsiman would appear
and give them a drink.
Despite being ever so slightly creepy and also a total rip off of the Silver Surfer,
Pepsiman would go on to get his own video game, having appeared in the arcade game Fighting
Vipers prior to his own title.
Each of the stages in the Pepsiman game had you controlling the hero, 'saving' a person
who was in need of a drink, dodging obstacles as you make your way to them, all to the constant
tune of PEPSI MAAAAN!
Also saving them means you run to a vending machine and drink a pepsi yourself.
Surprisingly, critics did hate it, although did comment on how weird and bizarre it was.
It also has a bizarre opening that implies that the entire game takes place inside of
a pepsi can that a dude gets from a vending machine and drinks most of before realizing
the Pepsi Man (and I suppose the whole digital world inside the can) exist.
And I duno about you guys, but that leaves me with a lot of questions about what that
dude just drank.
It also ends with the same man who had clearly consumed an unsafe amount of pepsi throughout
the duration of the game and its cut scenes.
There we have it friends!
Have you ever tried out any of these games or other advergames?

Why CTE is more common than you think - Duration: 7:00.
- All of these people have one thing in common.
They're all at risk for CTE,
Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.
A brain disease caused by repetitive hits to the head.
- Go!
- Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy
is a progressive neurodegenerative brain disease.
That means symptoms don't begin until years
after the injuries and can often get worse over time,
causing dementia.
And here's the kicker,
you can only find out if you had it if you are dead.
When your head gets hit, nerve cells are damaged,
and a protein called tau gets released.
Repeated hits to the head lead to more tau.
When nerve cells are damaged, tau comes off
and starts clumping up, becoming tangled.
Tau can kill brain cells if enough builds up overtime.
High levels of tau in brain fluid
are linked to poor recovery
and neurodegeneration after head trauma.
The origins of the disease trace back nearly
a century ago when it was labeled pugilistic dementia,
a syndrome that was originally studied in boxers.
Forensic pathologist Dr. Harrison Stanford Martland
described the disease in 1928 through his study,
a Journal of the American Medical Association.
He noted tremors, slowed movement, confusion
and speech problems being typical of the condition.
The disease was brought up again in 1949
by a British neurologist who published a study
in a paper titled Punch-drunk syndrome:
Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy of Boxers.
But it later become clear that the disease was appearing
in athletes who never dawned a pair of boxing gloves.
- CTE appeared in the limelight in the early 2000's
when Nigerian neuropathologist Bennet Omalu worked
on a case with former Hall of Fame NFL player Mike Webster,
who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After retirement, Webster began to show signs
of depression, extreme mood swings and eventually, dementia.
Footage from the documentary League of Denial shows Webster
being interviewed and stopping mid-sentence.
- The things we do to one another, okay,
hell, I don't know what I'm saying.
I'm just tired and confused right now.
That's why I say, I can't really.
I can't say it the way I want to say it.
I gotta, I could, I could answer this real easily
at other times, but right now, I'm just tired.
- Webster had CTE
and was the first NFL player diagnosed
with the degenerative brain disease.
Omalu's discovery led researchers
to study the potential link of brain trauma
in football and CTE further.
In 2017, neuropathologist Ann McKee released her own study
in The Journal of the American Medical Association.
McKee and her researchers studied 111 former NFL players
whose brains were donated for research
and discovered that 110 of them had CTE.
- We're really starting to understand
the earliest manifestations of this disease,
and of course, our main objective,
our overarching goal is to help the people that are living.
Be able to diagnosis this disease during life
so we can bring some hope and optimism to these people.
If we can diagnose it, we can also monitor it,
and we can test different therapies
to see if they're effective in treating the disease.
- In the early stages of CTE, researchers found
the most common cause of death among those
with mild levels of CTE was suicide.
One of the highest profile examples
was the case of Aaron Hernandez,
a former New England Patriots star,
who was convicted of first-degree murder in 2013.
He murdered Odin Lloyd,
a former friend who dated Hernandez's fiance.
- Guilty of murder in the first degree.
- You're committed to the NCI Cedar Junction
for a term of your natural life
without the possibility of parole.
- I knew he was gonna have CTE,
'cause you just don't get that amount of damage
without seeing the changes under the microscope.
- And while in prison,
Hernandez committed suicide.
For those in the later stages, dementia
and Parkinson's disease was the leading cause of death.
- And it's estimated that, you know,
the average football players gets
between hundreds to 1000 hits per season.
If you played for 10 years, you can,
you can imagine that's 10,000 hits.
That's what we're trying to get more awareness about.
We need to limit the amount of contact
in football and collision sports.
- Among 27 participants
that were found to have mild CTE,
26 had behavioral or mood issues before their deaths.
Of the 84 deceased players with more severe cases,
89% had behavioral or mood symptoms.
- We're over 500 brains.
I think it's about 550 at this point,
it may not be quite that many,
and we're well over 360 with the diagnosis of CTE.
- It's not just professional athletes
or military soldiers that are being affected,
younger athletes are at risk
for long-term consequences for later in life.
Scientists have found that on average,
playing tackle football before the age of 12
would lead to cognitive issues 13.39 years earlier.
Behavioral and mood problems would arise 13.28 years earlier
for those who began to play at 12 or older.
Not only are young individuals at the forefront
of CTE research, animals prone to brain injuries
are also being studied as well.
Gregory Myer, director of research in sports medicine
at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, offered
his take in this New York Times article.
Bighorn sheep ram their heads into each other
and woodpeckers slam their heads
against trees thousands of a time a day.
Myer's research has suggested
that both of these animals' brains
are well protected against concussions due
to a phenomenon called the bubble wrap effect.
Their brains are naturally protected with mechanisms
that slow the return of blood
from the head to the body, increasing blood volume
that fills their brains' vascular tree.
Outside of football, other sports
have introduced concussion protocols.
They're designed to keep players
who may have sustained a traumatic brain injury
from returning to the game.
- NFL players no longer practice as much in pads
during the week and during training camps.
The NFL has changed rules in terms
of where a player can be hit.
You no longer can but that used
to be a staple of NFL defenses.
- While safety reforms
have been made to player concussions,
NFL officials and college football coaches
have often been criticized for questioning
the research between football and CTE.
- It's clear that there is a link,
so why they're denying it, I don't know.
But there will come a time,
hopefully sooner rather or later,
that we will have a living diagnosis.
And at that point, leagues will no longer be able to say,
oh, we're, you know, we still need more science,
the science will be there.
- Legislators across the U.S.
have offered bills that would ban tackle football
before the age of 12,
but they've seen little traction becoming law.
And well, the push for legislation
comes as youth tackle football
has seen a decline in participation.
Interesting enough, it's a decline
that's been seen at a regional level.
- The fears about CTE and the fears
about the long-term damage to a child's health
is a concern for any parent.
And we're seeing parents ask more questions.
We're seeing parents raise more concerns.
Where then, we'll be able to say it,
okay, this person is predisposed genetically,
or, you know, we can monitor.

Movies That Will Blow Everyone Away In 2020 - Duration: 7:16.
The year 2020 might feel far away right now, but that hasn't stopped Hollywood's major
studios from lining up a slew of projects to compete for your movie budget, even a couple
years out.
Some of the upcoming releases on the calendar are highly anticipated sequels, but that isn't
all we're expecting to see; the studios have also set up new adaptations of existing properties
and all manner of would-be blockbusters, making for what should be an epic year at the movies.
Start marking your calendar now, we've rounded up an in-depth look at the biggest releases
coming along in 2020.
Bad Boys For Life
Seventeen years after the release of Bad Boys 2, audiences will finally get another entry
in the buddy cop franchise.
The film brings back Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and
Marcus Burnett, and the two couldn't be more excited about working together again.
"I love that dude.
"He's a great guy."
"That's one of the best times I've had making movies."
"I love Will."
"Damn come on Martin!"
"And Will loves me so we gonna do it."
While it's been a bumpy road to get the film to the green light, it's full speed ahead
for the duo now, and a release date has been set for January 17th.
G.I.
Joe: Ever Vigilant
Seven years after G.I.
Joe: Retaliation, everyone's favorite action figure-based franchise is set to return.
It's unclear which, if any, of the original movies' stars will return, as it's rumored
to be a reboot.
But considering the original cast included everyone from Channing Tatum to Bruce Willis
to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, it's hard to imagine we wouldn't see at least some of those
A-listers on the call sheet when movie three gets ready for a March 27th debut.
Fast & Furious 9
By the time Fast and Furious 9 comes along, fans of the speedy franchise will have gotten
their first spin-off, featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
Although we don't know much about where the saga's headed next, the pressure to keep upping
the stakes should mean it'll find a way to be even more epic than previous installments.
With Charlize Theron's Cipher still alive and on the loose at the end of Fate of the
Furious, there are lots of opportunities for mayhem.
You can probably count on most of your favorite cast members returning, and the franchise's
ever-increasing profile means there's always the chance they'll land even more big names
to join the family.
Audiences will definitely want to drive out to the theater on April 10th.
Godzilla vs. Kong
Film fans will finally get the answer to the age-old question of which movie monster reigns
supreme when Godzilla and King Kong face off on the big screen.
Director Adam Wingard has already assured fans that his take on the two monsters will
crown a definitive winner, unlike the 1962 film that first put the two characters against
each other.
Although we still don't know which actors will be part of the fun, there are sure to
be some A-listers on board when this epic behemoth battle barrels into the summer box
office on May 22nd.
The Six Billion Dollar Man
Mark Wahlberg will help breathe cinematic life into the '70s small screen series The
Six Million Dollar Man by giving the character a raise to the Six BILLION Dollar Man.
Wahlberg will play Steve Austin, a former astronaut who uses cutting-edge technology
to become half-machine in order to survive after an accident, and uses his newfound superhuman
strength to work as a secret agent working for the Office of Scientific Intelligence.
With its mix of robotics, espionage, and brute physical force, The Six Billion Dollar Man
should be an event when it comes along on June 5th.
Red Notice
Dwayne Johnson is set to re-team with director Rawson Marshall Thurber, after working together
on Central Intelligence and Skyscraper, for 2020's action-comedy film Red Notice.
The movie will feature Johnson as an Interpol agent chasing after the most wanted art thief
in the world.
We'll see if The Rock maintains his magic streak at the movies when Red Notice hits
theaters on June 12th.
Indiana Jones 5
This installment of the Indiana Jones films won't feature any lead-lined refrigerators
or ill-explained aliens, so if you weren't a fan of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the
franchise's newest outing will get things back on track for you.
Everyone involved seems to think the movie will be a course correction, with Harrison
Ford saying he only wanted to return if the script was great, and Steven Spielberg saying
he thinks the movie is, quote "straight down the pike for the fans."
"It's great fun to play this character.
It's great fun to work with Steven.
I'm looking forward to it."
There's a lot of potential for the future of the franchise, and the next film seems
like it could bring back the adventure of the original trilogy when it arrives on July
10th.
Bios
Tom Hanks will be the last man on Earth in this sci-fi outing.
Specific plot details for Bios are being kept tightly under wraps, but we do know that Hanks'
character, Finch, is an ailing inventor and the last man left on this planet, who builds
a robot to protect his beloved dog after his death.
Although we don't have many concrete details yet, Hanks has shown us many, many times that
he's the right guy to lead up any kind of survival story, even completely solo, so count
on this one to be a must-watch on October 2nd.
Fantastic Beasts 3
While we're still waiting to see what happens in the second Fantastic Beasts and Where to
Find Them movie, Warner Bros. is already gearing up for the third film in the franchise.
Very little is known about the film at this point, but the series definitely got off to
an encouraging start, with the first film earning solid reviews and healthy box office
returns.
With the second movie bringing in even more Harry Potter connections and the third likely
to build on that further, November 20th is a date you'll want to pencil in on your calendar
for more movie magic to come.
Avatar 2
We're getting four Avatar sequels over the next decade, so a lot rides on the first one
doing well when it hits theaters in 2020.
James Cameron's massive undertaking reportedly has a total budget of over $1 billion, allowing
the director to fully embrace new technology and make sure that the sequels are as visually
stunning as the first chapter.
The movies are said to be a family saga about Jake, Neytiri, and their children, with many
of the film's original cast returning as well.
Newcomers to the franchise include Cliff Curtis and Oona Chaplin as additions to the Pandora
collective, which will return to theaters December 18th.
Sherlock Holmes 3
Robert Downey Jr. is set to return for a third outing as the world's most famous detective
in a film that will also feature the return of his co-star Jude Law as John Watson.
It's unclear if Guy Ritchie, who directed the first two films, will return, but since
it's been nine years since Downey last played the character in A Game of Shadows, it should
be interesting to see how his take on Sherlock Holmes has aged when this new leg of the adventure
hits theaters December 25th.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Last but certainly not least, Marvel is expected to bring back their intergalactic team of
misfits with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
It's unclear who will return following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, but we do
know it's supposed to offer an "epic conclusion" to the saga of the Star-Lord's ragtag squadron
while helping to potentially launch the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It's in so many different songs and across so many different styles of music.
You've got old school artists like the Jackson 5 or Queen using it, if you go back even further,
you'll find it in classical music, tons of jazz - seriously - it's everywhere in
jazz music!
But even more modern artists like Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran or Maroon 5 chuck it in their
songs too.
It just works!
Because it's so common, it makes sense to know your way around it really well.
That way, if you ever need to create a bass line over this progression or make your own
fills, you'll know exactly what to do and you can be confident that what you play is
going to sound good.
This also applies if you need to improvise over this progression and that's what we'll
mostly be talking about in this video.
Now just in case you don't know, a 251 progression is just a set of 3 chords that all come from
the same key.
The chords are built from the 2nd, 5th and 1st notes of the major scale.
That's where we get the numbers 2-5-1 from.
So if we have a C major scale [plays C major scale] our 2nd note will be here [plays notes]
1-2 - a D right here.
Our 5-chord is 1-2-3-4-5 some kind of G chord.
And of course our 1 is just going to be the C. So the roots of the progression in this
key are D going to G, then landing on C. Straightforward enough, right?
And the final piece of the puzzle are the qualities of the chords.
The D chord is actually going to be a Dm7 chord, [plays Dm7 chord] the G chord will
be a G7 or a G 'dominant' 7 chord, [plays G7 chord] and finally, our C chord will be
a major 7 chord.
[plays CMaj7 chord] By the way, these chords don't have to have the 7ths on them.
They could easily just be a D minor chord, a G major and a C major chord but they're
a bit more colorful with the 7ths on top.
By the way, if you want to understand exactly how these chords are formed and how they all
relate, check out my free Ultimate Guide To The Modes For Bass.
If you do have any confusion about this, it'll clear it right up.
So I'll drop a link in the description under this video for you.
Now that's out of the way, let's talk about 3 different approaches to improvising
over this progression.
There are others, but these are the big ones - the 'must-knows'.
The first approach is probably the easiest to get started and that's to simply play
'within the key' using a pentatonic scale.
So if we have this 2-5-1 progression - Dm-G7-C, then our key is just going to be the 1-chord.
In this case, the C - so we're in the key of C major.
That means we can just plug in the C major pentatonic shape and go to town.
I've got a really simple 2-5-1 backing track in the key of C here that we can use, so if
we just stick to using the pentatonic, it might sound something like this.
[plays pentatonic over track] You can use all the other positions of the major pentatonic
too.
[plays more pentatonic scale] All just the pentatonic scale all over the bass.
This approach works well enough for the most part, but you're essentially just using
one sound over the 3 different chords.
If you wanted to get a bit more advanced, you can start assigning one sound for each
chord and cycle through them that way.
So what sounds or scales are going to work over each of these chords?
Well over your 2 chord, a Dorian scale is going to be great, in this case our 2-chord
is a D minor, so we'll use D Dorian.
Over the 5 chord, a Mixolydian sound is going to work great and for us, our 5-chord is a
G7 so we'll use G Mixolydian, and of course over our 1-chord, we can use the plain old
major scale.
C major for us in this case.
If you don't know these scales, these are actually what are called 'modes' of the
major scale and if you need to know all the shapes and how they work, where and how to
use them, then you should really check out my Ultimate Guide To The Modes For Bass.
It's totally free and it'll give you the whole picture and answer all the questions
you have about these modes.
To get it, just click the link in the description.
As far as how to get started using the modes, I recommend being very methodical with them.
Just to get familiar with them, go up each scale along with each chord.
So when the D minor 7 is playing, go up the D Dorian, go up the G Mixolydian over the
G7 chord and go up the C major scale with the C major 7 chord.
Makes sense, right?
That way, you can hear exactly how the scale relates to the chord.
Let's bring our track back and do exactly that.
So there's our 2 chord - we'd play our Dorian, then our 5 chord - Mixolydian for
that one, then our 1 chord - the plain old major scale.
Let's try to play these ourselves starting with D Dorian [plays scales with track] G
Mixolydian - and the C Major scale.
We can come down the C major as well because it lasts for 2 bars.
Let's go again.
[keeps playing modes]
Do you see how this works?
As we hear one chord, we play one specific sound and when the chord changes, we shift
to another sound.
This is going to outline the harmony for us, but it's also going to give us a ton more
options than just using one sound over all three chords.
Of course this is just the first step.
When you get more comfortable with these modes, you can start playing around with them instead
of just going up and down, which can get dull really fast.
So let's try that - let's play around with the modes a little bit.
[plays modes over track] Something
like that.
Notice that when I do this, I'm going outside of the shapes and boxes that we were using
before.
It's still the same notes, just played on a higher or lower part of the bass.
Again, this gives us more options and lets you play the music you hear in your head.
Chances are, the music that's inside of you isn't going to be confined to a neat
little box, so extending the scales and getting to know them across your entire fretboard
is always a good idea.
So first we had the pentatonic that worked well, but wasn't really playing inside the
chords - it was playing over them, then with the modes, we got more specific about playing
one kind of sound for every chord.
Now, let's take that one step further with the 3rd approach - using arpeggios to outline
each of the chords.
This means instead of using a whole scale, we'll only use the notes that make up each
of the chords.
For the Dm7 chord, our notes are D-F-A and C. There's a couple of options to play this.
You can play it here [plays arpeggios] 10th and 13th fret on the E-string, 12th fret on
the A-string and 10th fret on the D-string.
You can also extend this up to the 12th fret on your D-string, then the 10th and 14th fret
on your G-string as well.
[plays arpeggio]
For the G7 chord, you've got options as well.
The notes are G-B-D and F, and you can play that here [plays root position arpeggio] But
you can also go below that - remember the F and D are also part of the arpeggio.
[plays lower notes] And you can also start on the G-string up here [plays arpeggio] It
gives you a few more options.
And finally, for the C major 7 chord, our notes are C-E-G and B, and you can play them
here [plays arpeggio] Again, you can extend this arpeggio all the way to this G up here
[plays arpeggio] It gives you a nice spread all across your fretboard.
So how are we going to use these shapes?
Again, let's be methodical and systematic about it.
Let's start off by simply going up and down each arpeggio as it relates to each chord.
Let's grab up the track and give it a crack.
[plays arpeggios in order over track] Now let's keep the track going and try to use
these arpeggios to make some music rather than just go up
and down.
[plays arpeggios]
This approach is actually kind of tricky, right?
At the start, it's very possible that you'll sound like you're just running arpeggios,
but there's a way to get them to sound way more melodic and that's to jump around between
the notes of each arpeggio.
Going from one note to the next, then the next is fine, but not the most musical way
of using these arpeggios.
Plus, once you start skipping notes, you get a whole ton of wider intervals in your playing
and they can be melodic as hell!
If we were to do that, it might sound like this.
[plays melodic arpeggios]
Now we've gone through 3 separate approaches, and I'd encourage you to go through all
3 approaches and see which ones work for you, but that doesn't mean you have to limit
yourself to just using one.
In fact, experienced improvisers will use all 3 approaches all the time and blend them
together.
Doing this gives your playing more variety and keeps people guessing - makes sure they
don't get bored of your playing.
If we were to do this over this 251 progression, it might look like this.
[improvises over track]
You see what I'm doing there.
I'm using some scale fragments, some arpeggios, sometimes getting all pentatonic with it.
There aren't any rules here - you can mix and match however you want to get the music
that's in your head to come out through your fingers and onto your bass.
That's the whole idea, and it's wicked fun when it starts working for you!
The key is to practice each individual approach - even the ones that might not fall under
your fingers naturally.
If you really start getting your head around these ideas, they'll start coming out in
your playing naturally.
Once again, if you're at all confused about the modes - the scales we used in approach
#2 - I've got to recommend my Ultimate Guide To The Modes for you.
You'll get the full picture of where the modes come from, how they work, and where
you can use them, but what you won't get is any of the confusing jargon that people
use that just makes you even more confused.
It comes with 2 videos plus a 16-page PDF with all the tabs, notation and shapes for
the modes.
But it's only for people who subscribe to the email newsletter, so click the link in
the description, sign up on that page and I'll send it straight to you - completely
free.
To recap though, you learned 3 separate approaches for getting through the 251 progression on
bass.
You learned that the first one was to use the major pentatonic scale of the 1-chord.
If you're in the key of G major, use G major pentatonic, if you're in Bb, use Bb major
pentatonic etc. etc.
The second approach was to use the modes of the major scale.
A Dorian mode over the 2-chord, a Mixolydian over the 5-chord and your plain old major
scale over the 1-chord.
You also learned that you can make music with the arpeggios of the chords, and to make it
sound more musical and melodic, you can play the notes of each arpeggio out of sequence.
Finally, you learned that you can combine all the different approaches so your playing
has variety and people won't get bored of you just playing the same thing all the time.
Thanks so much for watching - I really appreciate it.
Go ahead and grab that Ultimate Guide To The Modes if you haven't already.
I'd love to see you in there too.
I'm Luke from Become A Bassist and I'll catch you soon.

2019 NRA Board of Directors Petitions! - Kraut4NRA - Duration: 2:32.
Hey everyone, my name is Adam Kraut and I need your help.
Despite being called "the Enemy Within" the NRA by one of its former leaders, and because
you guys almost demanded it, I am once again going to run for the NRA Board of Directors.
With your help, we can turn the NRA back into an organization that remains steadfast, does
not compromise and continues to be a leader in firearms safety education.
So how can you help?
That's really easy.
All you have to do is sign your name on a petition to put Adam Kraut, that's me, on
the ballot.
There's a little bit of a process but trust me, this is simple.
First things first, you'll head over to AdamKraut.com and hit the giant button at the top or click
the link the description to download the petition packet.
Then you'll have to print it out.
Yes I know ink is expensive.
Now, make sure you print it in the landscape or sideways orientation.
Like this.
Once you have it printed out, you need to fill out your info in the correct spots.
At the top right, you'll see a box for the name of the person circulating the petition
along with address.
Put your information in those boxes.
It is very important that this gets filled out to make sure the petition is valid.
Below that, the bulk of the sheet has spaces for people to sign.
You'll need to ensure that there is only ONE person's information per line on the petition.
You have to use blue or black ink or it doesn't count.
It's also important that each person's info on the petition match what NRA has on record
for them.
They will also need their membership number.
If you are not sure, this information is found on the mailing label of the monthly NRA magazine
you receive.
Once everything is filled out correctly and you've helped me out by collecting your friends
and family member signatures, you'll need to mail it to the address listed at number
7 on the instruction sheet of the packet.
Remember guys, You have to be a voting member of the NRA for your signature to count.
That means you are at least a life member OR have been an annual member for the past
five consecutive years.
You can confirm your status with NRA membership services.
The phone number is in the video description.
And that's it!
Print the sheet out, fill it out and mail it to me by September 25th.
Super simple.
You guys have been incredibly supportive over the last few years and I know that together
we can get back to the NRA we deserve!

Top 10 Best Teen Titans Go! Episodes - Duration: 5:43.
Welcome back nerd squad, my name is Roya Destroyaa and this is Top 10 Nerd.
We basically all know that teen titans go doesnÕt quite live up to the standards that
the original teen titans animated show set.
However, there are a few episodes that are actually pretty decent, and will help you
get your teen titans fix in a pinch.
So just sit back and let yourself enjoy it a bit, itÕs really not so bad on a boring
weekend in.
So letÕs take a look at the top 10 BEST TTG EPISODES.
In the number 10 spot WE have LETS GET SERIOUS, Season 2, episode 32.
This one can probably be considered the best of the worst.
Or maybe the worst of the best.
But in actuality, itÕs not so bad.
The episode centers around Robin wanting his team to shape up, after seeing how easily
Young Justice has taken down the HIVE.
Poor and slightly creepy animation aside, It was a bit of a shot at the people saying
the show was too silly, so thereÕs that satirical angle at least.
Not the worst thing to come from this show.
Coming in at number 9, is LEGS, season 1, episode 37.
Legs tells the story of robin stealing away RavenÕs cloak, leaving her to reveal her
usually hidden figure and unveiling quite the pair of gams, becoming lady legasus.
Then Cyborg accidently gets wrapped up in the cloak and goes totally dark.
This episode was a bit more adult, if we can say that, so itÕs got a bit more appeal for
us older people who are bored with our lives and have nothing better to watch on TV.
Next, at number 8, is LEGENDARY SANDWICH, season 1 episode.
The very start of teen titans go was actually not bad, it was pretty entertaining.
It kinda went all downhill from there when we realized we had 200 more episodes of this.
In this episode, Raven sends the rest of the team on a wild goose chase to make a sandwich,
all with the intention of losing them for a few so she can watch her favorite tv show.
Something we will not be doing to watch teen titans go, unless we really donÕt like the
people who are around.
But effective nonetheless.
In the number 7 spot, we got COOL SCHOOL, season 2, episode 40.
Here Raven befriends a recently released from prison Rose Wilson, and the two begin hanging
out.
The rest of the team are jealous and decide that they need to take lessons in cool school
to win back their friend.
The material here is less annoying than usual so thatÕs why it makes the list.
Plus, RoseÕs ÒMore like titans go awayÓ kinda embodies how we feel about the show,
so thatÕs a win in my books!
Coming in at number 6 we got GIRLS NIGHT OUT, season 1, episode 13.
This one sneaks on the list because I always do love a good girls night out, so it was
pretty entertaining to watch.
When the boys wonÕt let Star and Raven join them for a hang out, the girls break Jinx
out of prison just casually and have their own night.
And I gotta say, Raven visiting prison and making fun of prisoners when sheÕs bored
is totally something I would do.
Next up, at number 5 is TTG VS PPG, season 3, episode 40.
This was a crossover with another team of beloved heroes, the powerpuff girls!
Whose show is equally as cutesy but double the smarts.
So bringing them to Jump City helped out a bit here.
The girls follow mojo jojo as he attempts to take over jump city, and along the way
cross paths with the teen titans.
And things get a little competitive.
Funf act is the voice of raven, tara Strong, has also been the voice of Bubbles.
Up next at number 4, we have the day the night stopped beginning to shine and became dark
even though it was day, season 4 episodes 27-30.
Wow, I am not saying that title again, feel like I may have lost a few brain cells.
Despite horrendous title, this miniseries actually got pretty high reviews compared
to other episodes, even ones on this list.
Cyborg gets trapped in an alternate dimension and must face a dragon to free himself.
But the best part?
Fall out boy makes an appearance!
Even in cartoon form itÕs hard not to break out into song.
In the number 3 spot, is COLORS OF RAVEN.
Season 1 episode 25.
Raven in this episode is split into several different personalities because of a strange
prism.
The rest of the team finds these new Ravens are knocking things out of whack, and they
kinda just want their old friend back.
It was nice to see the array of personas for tara strong to voice, and even some die hard
teen titans animated fans can admit to cracking a smile at this high-energy but even-tempo
episode.
Coming in at number 2, is VIDEO GAME REFERENCES, season 2 episode 39.
In this episode, the teen titans do some training in a virtual reality room with some very familiar
graphics, such as the legend of Zelda, super Mario, and frogger.
This is one episode that actually gets fairly good reception among audiences, mainly because
even if you hate teen titans go, itÕs hard not to get lost in the nostalgia of the video
game references.
And finally, in the number 1 spot, WE HAVE 40% 40% 20%, season 3 episode 10.
This one has actually been toted as perhaps the best of the teen titans go episodes, and
is the spark that ignited the night begins to shine miniseries.
Because I already said IÕm not saying that whole title again.
Catchy music, fun animation, and an overall reminiscent feel of what the show used to
be back in the animated series days.
All this combined makes for not a very bad episode at all.
If you have to watch one, it should definitely be this.
Just donÕt think itÕs setting the tone for any other episodes.
So those were the top 10 best ttg episodes, I know a lot of you will be disappointed in
this list to be honest, but really the show isnÕt so bad as a filler.
Let me know in the comment section down below which episode was your favorite?
My name is Roya Destroyaa, thanks for watching, and donÕt forget to subscribe so you never
miss another nerdy list!

FCE (B2 First) Speaking Test Part 1 + Practice Questions - Duration: 7:17.
What do you need to know about the B2 First speaking test, and what do you need to do
in the exam to get a good mark?
In this series of videos we're going to show you what to do and what not to do to
get a good mark.
I'm Vicki.
And I'm Craig.
And we're going to talk about part one of the exam in this video.
Part one lasts two minutes and it's a question and answer section.
Let's jump straight in.
Well, first of all we'd like to know something about you.
Vicki.
Do you like cooking?
Oh yes, I love it.
I like trying new recipes that I find on the internet and I'm interested in Chinese food.
I made some dumplings last week and they came out great.
Thank you, thank you, Vicki.
Jay.
Do you often use the internet?
No.
Why not?
Because no one ever answers my emails.
Thank you Jay.
Vicki.
Do you like going to parties?
I do and I love having parties too.
We often invite friends over and then sometimes we play party games.
We had one last week … Thank, thank you Vicki.
Jay.
What did you do on your last birthday?
Hmmm.
Oh, the laundry.
Why?
Because my clothes were dirty.
Thank you.
Who do you think gave the best answers, Jay or Vicki?
I hope you said Vicki!
Vicki's answers were better because she gave long answers,
I didn't just say 'yes', 'no' or one word.
I extended my answer and made it longer.
Remember the examiners don't know your level of English.
You have to show it to them.
But how can you extend your answers?
A lot of students find this hard so here are three ideas to help.
First one: give an example.
Vicki, do you like cooking?
I love cooking.
For example I made some Chinese dumplings last week.
A second idea.
Give a reason and say why.
Jay, what did you do on your last birthday?
Nothing much.
I don't like birthdays because they remind me of my age.
And a third idea, use 'but' and 'although' to contrast one idea with another.
Do you like cooking, Vicki?
Yes.
I like cooking sometimes but not every day.
Thank you.
Jay, tell me about your best friend.
Oh, I don't have a best friend.
Although I have a dog.
He has bad breath.
Jay's answer was better there.
His ideas were strange, but that doesn't matter.
He extended his answer.
And it doesn't matter if your answer is true or not.
The important thing is to speak.
The examiners mark the quality of your English, not the quality of your ideas.
OK.
Now how can you prepare for Part one when you don't know what questions the examiner
will ask?
We're going to help you.
We'll give you some examples of topics you can expect and you can use these example questions
to practice.
You'll need to listen, pause the video and give your answers.
Don't forget to extend your answers, so make them longer.
Do you prefer to study alone or with friends?
Would you prefer to work for a big company or a small company?
What do you enjoy doing with your friends?
Tell us about your family home.
Do you enjoy playing computer games in your free time?
Is there a sport of hobby you enjoy doing?
Do you enjoy going to the cinema?
Do you prefer paper books or digital books?
What kind of music do you enjoy?
Do you enjoy going to the theatre?
Which part of the day do you enjoy most?
What do you usually do at weekends?
Did you go anywhere interesting last weekend?
Do you have any plans for the summer?
Are you going to go on holiday this year?
Do you enjoy long journeys?
One more thing before we stop.
Did you notice the tenses in those questions?
A lot were asking about the present but some were about the past and some were about the
future.
This means that when you answer, you have to be careful to use the right tense.
And sometimes the questions might be conditionals too.
For example: Vicki, which country would you most like to
visit in the future?
Oh, Egypt.
I've always wanted to go to Egypt to see the pyramids.
Thank you.
Jay, if you could learn a new skill, what would you choose to do?
I'd like to learn morse code.
Why?
I'd like to communicate with aliens.
So you've got to listen hard to the questions and then use the right tense in your reply.
Great so that's part one of the speaking exam.
Make sure you're subscribed to this channel so you don't miss the video on Part two.
And share this video with a friend if you've enjoyed it.

Solving Mysteries with the Ancient Galaxies Next Door | SciShow News - Duration: 4:56.
[♪ INTRO]
One of the coolest things about observing the universe is that the farther you look out,
the older the stuff you're looking at.
So in a way, telescopes become time machines.
But that doesn't mean there aren't super old things right next door.
In fact, over the past decade, astronomers have found dozens of small
faint galaxies orbiting our own Milky Way.
And they've turned out to be some of the oldest galaxies we've ever seen.
And by studying these neighborhood old-timers, we can get a glimpse of how the universe evolved.
Last week in the Astrophysical Journal, a team of astronomers used these super faint
galaxies to shine a light on one particular period of our history.
Some of the headlines about this paper have made it sound like the researchers only just
discovered these old galaxies, but we actually already knew that they existed.
Until 2006, astronomers only knew of a dozen or so small satellite galaxies
orbiting the Milky Way.
Our equipment just wasn't sensitive enough.
But by 2016, they'd found 54, and some of them were extremely old.
And that's just around the Milky Way.
Other satellites like these have also been found around the nearby galaxy Andromeda.
And there should be plenty around other galaxies, too,
we just don't have the tech required to see them yet.
What's new about this research is that it's using those satellite galaxies
to learn more about the epoch of reionization,
a time in the universe's history when star formation came to a near halt.
About 380,000 years after the Big Bang, the universe was very, very dark.
It was the beginning of the so-called "Cosmic Dark Ages,"
the period when gravity hadn't yet pulled together
clumps of hydrogen and helium to form stars.
It lasted for about 100 million years, until the nuclear furnaces of the first stars
began spewing out electromagnetic radiation of their own.
Some of that radiation came in the form of ultraviolet light, which had enough energy
to knock electrons out of the leftover hydrogen floating around, ionizing it.
Or more like re-ionizing it, because before the dark ages
all that hydrogen started out as charged ions in the first place.
That's why we call this period of the universe the epoch of reionization.
The reionized hydrogen was now so hot, and moving around so fast,
that gravity couldn't pull it together to make new stars.
But not all galaxies stopped forming new stars; the most massive ones could still do that.
Still, on an astronomical scale, most of the galaxies back then were super small,
so their growth was stunted.
It took about a billion years for everything to cool back down to the point where new galaxies
could form, and most existing ones could grow.
But there's still a lot we don't know about the epoch of reionization.
For one thing, we're not exactly sure when it happened.
And that's where last week's paper comes in.
Even after reionization ended, even now,
these small galaxies retain a record of that limited growth.
To help them read that record, the authors of this new paper combined a computer model
with the real data from a collection of the dwarf galaxies
surrounding the Milky Way and Andromeda.
Specifically, they modeled the luminosity, or light output, of each galaxy and found
two distinct populations: one group of faint satellites and another of
brighter ones, separated by a gap.
That gap was caused by reionization!
The areas with less matter in them didn't have enough gravity to turn all that ionized
hydrogen into stars, so their growth was stunted, and they stayed dimmer.
But this was more than just evidence of reionization.
The team was also able to use the number of fainter galaxies
to get a better idea of when reionization happened.
The later it happened, the more faint galaxies you'd expect to see,
because more would have been able to form before their star formation shut down.
The team's model fits best if the universe reached
100% reionization when it was about 950 million years old.
But that age is a lot older than other research teams have estimated.
A group called the Planck collaboration, for example,
calculated a reionization age of only 570 million years.
Part of the difference might just come from the teams using different definitions,
because the Planck analysis was looking to calculate the time when the universe was only 50% ionized.
But it does mean that we'll need further studies before we can really pin down
when the epoch of reionization happened.
Another reason we'll need more research is that the data we have is incomplete.
There could be a lot more faint galaxies out there we haven't found yet,
and their properties could throw models for a loop.
And, since the data only came from our local group, the time we calculate for reionization
could be different from what we'd find in other places
that had different sources ionizing hydrogen.
But one way to check the validity of this research is to see if it can be used to make predictions.
The team used their model to propose the number of satellite galaxies that should be around
the Large Magellanic Cloud, a galaxy that is itself a satellite of the Milky Way.
Their predicted number is 26, plus or minus 10,
and with only a 68% level of confidence that it's even within that range.
But it is a jumping off point.
And by looking for more clues in our galactic backyard, we might someday reveal a
whole lot more about what the universe was like when it first began.
Thanks for watching this episode of SciShow Space News!

TOP 10 WOW BATTLE FOR AZEROTH BIGGEST CHANGES & REVIEW - Duration: 10:23.
Greetings friends, Battle for Azeroth is finally here and it's awesome, but whether you are
a new player, or a returning one or just want to see what are the biggest changes in this
expansion and my honest review of it, you are in the right place.
So let's count down the 10 biggest features in no particular order and also give a review
of the expansion so far.
10.
Heart of Azeroth.
The first new thing you get in the expansion is the Heart of Azeroth, after Sargaeras stabbed
the world with his little sword, the planet is bleeding Azerite, and after defeating the
burning legion together, the biggest threat we saw, the Alliance and the Horde start fighting
each other again, for rocks.
The Hearth of Azeroth is here to replace the legion artifacts as well as legendaries and
armor sets bonuses, I know, hard job.
You gain Azerite Power from pretty much everything like you did Artifact Power and you rank it
up, each level increases it's item level by 2 and by 15 when you increase your reputation
with Champions of Azeroth and your head, shoulders and chest are azerite armor as well, you'll
be able to pick traits and increase their item level based on your Heart of Azeroth
level.
9.
Darnassus & Undercity.
What happens in the pre-patch, stays in the pre-patch.
Or not really, in case you missed it our tree is burning, not that tree, Teldrassil was
burned down by Sylvanas, destroying the capital of the Night Elves, you can't go there now
and on the map it shows as ruins of Darnassus, but you can speek with a timekeeper to visit
old Azeroth.
After this, the Alliance attacked Lordaeron with the help of Jaina, trying to take it
back, but Sylvanas also destroyed it with plague, ruining 2 capital cities, good job.
8.
Kul Tiras & Zandalar.
The biggest change this expansion is of course the addition of the not 1, not 3 but 2 new
continents.
And the most interesting part here is that they are pretty much completely split, if
you play on the Alliance you will level up and see the story of Kul Tiras, you'll go
with Jaina and meet her mother that will imprison here, then head to complete the 3 areas to
unite the kingdoms of Kul Tiras and save Jaina, and if you play Horde you'll go to Zandalar
after breaking the princess and prophet out of Stormwind and experience a different story.
You'll have a capital, on the Alliance you have Boralus and on the Horde you have Dazar'Alor,
here you have portals to your main cities, trainers for every proffesion as well as a
scrapper where you can destroy gear for crafting materials.
I've finished the Alliance side and started the Horde one too, since you kinda miss half
the expansion if you only play on one side, overall the zones and the story were very
nicely done, what I liked the most was how cinematic everything was, so many cutscenes
and so many talked quests and lots of interesting and fun ones.
You only get 3 leveling areas but they are huge, and all of them have a lot of side quests,
I got to 116 in the first one but I did pretty much everything, and dinged 120 at only 2/10
chapters in the 3rd one, yet I finished all of them and the Jaina main story afterwards.
Took me 20 to 30 hours to get to 120 and played 20 more hours afterwards, but I took my time
to read the quests and enjoy the story and explore all the zones.
So on the Alliance side you start on Tiragarde Sound, an area full or pirates and the place
where the capital city and the Proudmoore residence are, then there's Stormsong Valley,
a beautiful place with a nation corrupted by the Old Gods and Azshara and creepy Drustvar,
my favorite zone of the expansion, where you help the Waycrest daugher get rid of witches
and reclaim her home.
On the Horde side you have Zuldazar, a big green jungle where you'll get the respect
of the god king of Wakanda, I mean Zandalar, Nazmir, another quite creepy area filled with
blood trolls and an old god, and Vol'Dun, a desert area filled with ruins and pyramids
and snake people.
You don't have a garrison or a class hall now, instead an area of your capital will
replace it's needs, still having missions, war resources, followers and researches you
can do.
There's also a war campaign that sends you to make a base in each of the opposite faction's
zones and then assassinate and fight with leaders of that faction.
After you complete your 3 zones stories and get friendly reputations with them you also
unlock world quests, and you still have an emmisary each day like in Legion, giving you
a bonus if you complete 3 or 4 quests for them, and you get quests on both continents
as each faction.
Apart from that there are currently 10 new dungeons, mythic + is not out yet but the
dungeons are great and feel quite different from each other, Waycrest Manor is my favorite,
though all of them seem a bit more challenging and there's too many mobs in between boss
fights, making them sometimes even harder than the actual boss when you have to fight
20 at onces.
The first raid will be Uldir, taking place in the creepy area of Zandalar and fighting
a blood old god as the final boss here, G'huun.
There's no level 120 only zone yet, so I think we're likely to get new areas as we dive deeper
into the expansion.
7.
Scaling.
Next we're going to let Tombman explain this next change, scaling.
Hi, I'm Tombman!
See my health?
See this damage?
It's small!
It used to be millions, but Blizzard stole it from me!
They reduced all the numbers across the board, my health, mobs' health and damage as well
as the item level of every piece of gear, instead of going over 1000 in BFA, we're back
at 300.
Everything is smaller and easier to read since people couldn't count to that much, makes
it easier to the eye but I miss my millions.
6.
Island Expeditions.
Island Expeditions are a nice addition to the game, Sea of Thieves in WoW.
You pick one out of 4 dificulties and join a crew to take Azerite from different islands
before the opposite faction, where you'll find treasure, mobs, elites and the opposite
factions' NPCs acting like players or fight actual players if you pick the PVP mode of
the expeditions.
5.
Spells & Talents.
As always each class has minor or bigger changes, with the artifact weapons gone, some spells
from there remain dirrectly into the spell book for some classes, or got added as talents,
like new moon on balance, even if it's the worst talent of it's tier, I really like that
spell, I hope it will get buffed.
Same for some of the traits given by legendaries, they got added as talents or as bonuses to
older talents.
Some spells are removed and some old spells are brought back, especially CC abilities
like hibernate on the druid and many buffs are back as well, like Arcane Intellect on
the mage or Fortitude on the priest and some classes received visual updates to spells,
the warlock is a good example.
4.
Allied Races.
You've probably already seen or even played them, since they got added in Legion, but
not only having the new races here is a great change, but the idea of allied races, since
they are simpler to do and implement, meaning we'll get many more allied races over time,
not only with new expansions.
Currently you got 2 for each faction with 1 more added to each of them soon, you still
need achivements to unlock them but you'll get a mount for each recruited race and if
you level them to 110 without a boost you'll also unlock their heritage armor.
3.
War Mode & PVP.
War mode is pretty much World PVP 2.0, you activate it in Stormwind or Orgrimmar and
it lets you fight players in the World and also giving you 10% bonus XP and rewards from
world quests and giving you acces to your selected PvP talents in the world, apart from
in dungeons or raids.
PvP talents are also changed, you get to pick 3 out of around 13 and your medallion.
The honor level and prestige are now merged on the account, there are no more prestige
levels but honor goes up to 500, giving rewards every few levels.
BGs are also now separate, big ones are epic battlegrounds, conquest points will return,
the PvP season is not out yet, a new ranking system will also be added, similar to Overwatch,
with leages like rival, duelist and so on, replacing the boring elo number and giving
you a better idea of where you are skill wise.
There's also a dueller's guild you can queue from your capital's headquarters and fight
1v1 battles with other players.
2.
War Fronts.
Also not yet started, the warfronts are 20-man PvE large scale co-op campaigns taking place
on different zones of the world, even visually upgraded old ones like Arathi Highlands, inspired
by Warcraft 3, they allow you to lead a massive battle, you get to create outposts, take resources,
set up supply lines and train units to push the assault and take the enemy stronghold.
1.
Voice Chat, Communities & Professions.
And finally some more UI changes.
You can still see the old guild UI but there's this new one as well as communities and voice
chat as well.
In the community & guild tab you can see the chat even if you weren't there as well as
create multiple rooms and join voice chat directly in the guild, and you can also join
or create more in-game or on the blizzard communities, I'll make one now to show you
and you can join it if you want, I'll leave the link.
Apart from that, voice chat was added pretty much everywhere, you join a group or a dungeon
or PvP and you get to join the voice chat, though not many people use it yet, might take
a while for the massses to get used to, it will be a nice feature, especially in rated
arenas and BGs and raids.
The professions got some changes as well, they are now split per expansion and you start
at 1 on each of the zones, meaning you don't have to spent a lot of time and gold to catch
up, you directly begin that proffesion in the new expansion now, also first aid is no
longer a secondary proffesion, it got added to the tailoring.
Alright well that's pretty much it for Battle for Azeroth, overall I think it's a fantastic
expansion so far, if you never played WoW or looking to get back now it's good time
as always when new expansions come out, looking forward to see what happens next with Azshara
and probably old gods, and for the rest of the features and the raid to come out, thanks
for watching, leave a like if you enjoyed the video and subscribe if you are new here,
and I'll see you soon with a new video of my UI, bye bye!

Aspergers and Energy: Downtime - On the Beach - Duration: 3:20.
So today is my day off. I'm sitting on the beach
It's a Saturday afternoon here in Melbourne in the middle of winter
why am I here?
I think one of the reasons that I attempt to find places of solitude like
this is because it's really important for me to disconnect from what feels
like a barrage of requests from the world whether that be messages or people
trying to talk to me or just I feel like there's always someone trying to
get my attention. So a place like this allows me to actually turn off. One of my mental
health practices is to attempt to take every Friday Saturday and Sunday off my regular work.
So that means limiting screen time not checking emails, not checking messages
things like that and I find that I have to be really
really disciplined with that otherwise I actually don't get a break.
I get so wound up in work mode and so hyper focused on whatever I'm doing that
it actually takes a couple of days to unwind and if I don't take those couple
of days and if I'm not really really disciplined about cutting out work
completely for those days then I find that I get to Monday morning and I
haven't been able to turn off and I haven't been able to recharge and
that can lead to burning out very very quickly
if I don't have that recharge time.
So one of my favorite Aspergers analogies
is like of a high-performance sports car and the reason I like that analogy is
because I can go really fast and I might be high maintenance sometimes but
I'm built for a purpose and if I'm going 300 km/h down the freeway
speed bumps are a problem. It's really hard to come to a complete stop when I'm
going really really fast. So I need to schedule those pit stops where I come to
a complete stop and actually recharge otherwise I will eventually break down
and that's not good for anyone. So today I'm on the beach
what else do I want to say? I think that's about it. I guess I just want to emphasized the
importance of actually taking down time and when it works it's amazing so when I
take three days off then on Monday morning I actually feel like I'm recharged and I can
actually get my headspace back into work. So I might leave it there I guess I'm
not really sure what I'm trying to say but something like that. That'll have to do... Bye...

I'm a Bulldog: Intern/Student Employee- John Barber - Duration: 1:38.
my name is John Barber the fourth before I'm a senior in the television and digital
media production program and I've done a lot of things on campus when it comes to
internships as well as working around and doing other jobs here when all the
activities and jobs that I've done on campus not just counting my internship
but also employment opportunities on campus it's helped me grow in a lot of
different ways not just in the professional setting but also on my
personal life number one it increases your opportunities to work on time
management skills as well as gives you an opportunity to really branch out and
see what you're interested to I think is important to have an on-campus job
because it gives you a few opportunities number one they understand your student
so they're going to work with your schedule they're going to give you
enough hours to where you can officially stand up for yourself but as well as
understanding when you need time to study and put an extra work so working
for the University or anything around campus kind of has that option and when
you're doing internships is great because you're getting the professional
experience that you need in the career that is you're into as well as still
having a setting to where you're comfortable around saying yes you're
usually here already and we kind of understand what you're getting yourself
into so it's pretty cool when it comes to that aspect with my internship here I
was able to get a lot of professional experience but even now I'm applying for
other jobs they look back and say you there really was a good opportunity and
you learned a lot from it so I think it's something that you should
definitely kind of pursue and be open to my name is John barber fourth I've been a
student employee on campus for many different ways and also part of
internships and I am a bulldog

clap?
give us a clap.
me?
yeah.
how many?
just one or two.
clap clap
hahaha
oh my god i'm the same color as the pillow
you are!
hehhmmm
can i crack open these starbursts?
yes please do
my english teacher freshman year did this thing
every day freshman year he'd have us do these activities.
where you're supposed to learn a lesson from it
he had us all lie on the ground like this
in a row and then we would just go ha. ha. ha.
and like the first person to laugh loses
he was like, the people who didn't laugh at all are technically the winners but did
they really win?
what does that mean?
you had the least fun cuz you didn't allow yourself to laugh
i don't think anybody had any fun
what's your meyers-briggs?
oh i think i'm…
the last time i took it i think was like, 3 years ago.
i was infj then.
what are you?
infp.
i like actually know all of these now which is kinda weird because meyers briggs is probably
bs…
p is for perception and j is for judgement.
do i judge people?!
i think theoretically perception vs judgement like
you see something and then you like logic your way through it.
like you're using your judgement to make sense of something.
whereas i'm just judging based on what i perceive.
i see.
and we're both hot messes so…
these starbursts were a bad idea!
it's just been a lot recently.
mhm.
like a month ago i watched the… only season of big mouth.
that show's wacky.
it IS wacky!
the season finale is everyone dancing to the electric slide but instead of the lyrics they're
singing "life is a mess"
and there was something like, soothing about that?
haha
ahhhh i'm a $lu† for pee–
hmm?
lemme try that again
hahahahaha
i'm a $lu† for pain!
is what i was going for
my chemical romance… what's that… very much alive!
very much alive on the wrist!!
is it too personal to say we both kinda give more than we receive?
yeah that's not too personal
just…
i have so much love to give people.
here you go
and it's just not reciprocated (right) sometimes
which like is fine but
it just sucks a little
yeah.
like especially because for me, it felt good to do favors for my friends all the time.
like i would sacrifice a ton of time and energy for them, and it still made me feel good bc
i was like, i'm helping them out and i care about them.
no just to know like, if a friend was ever to reach out to you and if they ever needed
anything… like you would do anything for them.
but then knowing that they wouldn't do that in return is just like…
yeah.
theoretically, some of these people who have not been all too kind to me…
if they were to ask me for a favor
i would love to say that i would say "no! you've been terrible to me!" but because
i still care about this person i'd probably end up doing something for them.
meanwhile,
these people have been given so many opportunities to like be a friend back and just don't
take them.
which is weird to me!
over the past few months, i learned that the most important thing, for me at least, is
friendships
and there is nothing that i would ever put in front of that ever again
yeah
it astounds me how some people can just not value friendships and just kinda throw em
away without a thought
i always knew there was a difference between sympathy and empathy but i never really understood
it until i went through a ton of stuff these past two months… now i feel so much
when i listened to songs that are like "you betrayed me" obviously i used to listen
to them and be like wow that sucks.
but now i listen to it and i'm like omg i can feel their pain.
ew i'm not eating that again.
it's gross.
oh i like that one!
take it!
are you a hufflepuff?
yeah
haha just talking about all our personality tests
what are you a ravenclaw?
i think i'm a slytherin.
i always told myself i was a ravenclaw.
what's the characteristics of slytherin?
i don't even remember!
i wanna say they're like cunning?
goal oriented?
why do i think i'm a slytherin?
ambitious…
what's hufflepuff?
uhh
dumb.
dumb!
they're really loyal, which is definitely true of you
they're just like kind souls
so basically dogs?
yeah! all dogs are hufflepuffs!
all dogs are hufflepuffs!
aww!
if i was an animal though i think i'd be a turtle
what would you be
i've been told that i'm like the human embodiment of a cat
no.
no?
what do you think?
what are they called
those little like teacup pigs
aww!
not that you look like a pig!
no i no! that's cute!
why do you say that?
cuz you're cute.
aww!!
and very small.
haha
have you seen that facebook post of a woman dropping a tortoise in the lake?
no!
and then there's the one that's like "my 4 brain cells coming together to spell um"
necessary.
click
click click
where's your cat?
he's gone.
where'd he go?
he would make a great appearance in here.
right just bloop!
we'll just edit a cat in here.
on game grumps they had this bit where they'd be like "oh why is there a burger floating
across the screen?"
they just basically forced their editor to have a burger with eyes float across the screen
and then they'd be like "barry why did you make burgie twice the size he was last
time?"
that's actually really funny, i'm a huge fan
you know ben and jerrys chocolate therapy?
it's SO GOOD
it's chocolate and it has brownie chunks and then chocolate pudding. which sounds gross
no it doesn't!
that sounds so good.
i can just imagine one day giving up on like being polite and just making a video like
"THE TEA."
give everyone's full names, dox them,
come out with the rage of like Anonymous
i don't think i could though, i think i'm too much of a coward.
plus it's not nice.
good point.
see that's why i'm a hufflepuff.
yeah!
and that's why i'm a slytherin!
i was reading this thing that was like 'i had my heart broken and i survived.
i lost friends and i made new ones.
i had hard times with my family and we laughed about it over lunch– i've gotten through
it before and i'll get through it again' and i was like
i need that motivation right now.
woo!
like i need that optimism.
here.
ready?
yeah.
haha sorry.
you… are valid.
you are enough!
that was creepy!
respect yourself! what's that from?
love yourself.
accept yourself! love yourself!
i keep getting farther and farther from you
I KNOW!
um.... we'll have like, oh no!
why?
why has it been stopped?
let's give ourselves an ending and then call this a video.
we could end with, uhh that's actually lame.
what?
it's like a song lyric, BROCKHAMPTON which is like HEUHHH HEUHHH
but like it really like stuck with me.
you're exactly where you're supposed to be.
that really just like applies to everything.
cuz i'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason i guess.
i guess!
i usually am a firm believer in it like way after things happen.
yes after things happen.
right now i'm like WHY IS EVERYTHING HAPPENING
but i'm sure in a couple months i'll be like "ohhhh."
that's the truest thing i've ever heard.
haha
ready we're just gonna say bye.
byeeee!!!
alright! that's our ending!
no, delete that!
yeah!

Top 5 BEST Generation 2/Johto Pokemon - Duration: 14:33.
Ahh johto, for a good long while the gen 2 games pokemon gold and silver and more specifically
Heartgold and SoulSilver were my favorite pokemon games of all time.
But even though now that isn't really the case anymore I still have a lot of love for
the Johto region.
I mean there are so many memorable pokemon that its gonna be really hard to narrow down
all of them to a list of just my 5 favorite.
And with the generation 1 video doing so well, how can I not continue the series to give
you guys what I think are the Top 5 Best Generation 2 Pokemon.
Now what I define as a best Pokemon might differ from your definition, but for the sake
of my video, what I take into consideration for these pokemon are their designs, battling
capabilities, and just my sentimental value for them.
And if you guys want to see me talk about my favorite generation 3 video please be sure
to leave a comment down below and I'll get to work on it as soon as possible.
If you guys enjoy the video be sure to leave a like subscribe and share this video with
a friend and with that being said let's get started.
5 To start off this list let's take a look at
not only one of my favorite pokemon in generation 2, but one of my favorite water type pokemon
period, Lanturn.
I say this because honestly I think Lanturn is a very Underrated pokemon.
So underrated that it ended being the number 1 pokemon on my top 10 underrated list.
And this is the case because well, I just dont think lanturn gets the amount of love
and recognition it deserves.
I mean when it comes to a design for a pokemon you can't really get much better than what
lanturn has.
From the electric antenna, the adorable eyes, to even the color pallete all of it is just
perfectly well done.
And I also have to say, its dual typing is one of my favorite in the entire series.
It has all of the factors that make a pokemon, well, a pokemon, so it's honestly kind of
sad to see that it doesn't get as much recognition for this awesome design as other great pokemon
like charizard.
I think what really makes this design so great in my eyes has to be how gamefreak managed
to take an animal like the anglerfish, and make it into something so adorably cute.
I mean seriously, these things can look horrifying.
But the anglerfish might not be the only basis of origin for this pokemon as it is also possible
that Lanturn's origin contains a small piece of the Hellenistic lord, Apollo as he was
the lord of light and his animal was the dolphin which was another animal that was drawn inspiration
from.
See even the design origin is underrated.
But unfortunately though battle wise, there isn't really anything underrated about it.
I mean sure its awesome dual typing gives it a unique set of resistances (show all resistances)
and its HP stat is very nice to have, it still really isn't that good at all.
I mean besides HP all of its other stats are mediocre at best, it could work well in PU,
but thats PU the worst tier in smogon.
Although with its lack of battling prowise in mind I still think lanturn is a great pokemon
to have at least for in game use.
Its design is awesome, its typing is good, and it's got a wide movepool.
What more could you ask?
4 Tyranitar Now from here we're moving from a pokemon
that isn't considered to be good in battle, to a pokemon that is an absolute BEAST in
battle.
I am of course talking about the psuedo legendary pokemon of this region Tyranitar.
Now for starters what can I really say about this thing, it just looks freaking amazing.
From larvitar to tyranitar this entire line was done perfectly.
I mean to go from a pretty cute strong psudeo in dragonite, to this… just dang.
I mean from head to toe this pokemon is done design wise absolutely perfectly.
It embodies what my ideal psudeo legendary pokemon would be.
Strong, Intimidating, and most of all badass.
And while most people may jump to the conclusion that this pokemon is just well a dinosaur,
there's actually a lot more to the story.
Tyranitar also shares strong similarities with the Armadillo girdled lizard, a desert-dwelling
lizard mainly distinguished by its especially firm scales.
More interestingly though Tyranitar also could be based on the popular japanese monster Godzilla
which itself was designed by combining three dinosaurs: Tyrannosaurus, Iguanodon and Stegosaurus,
along with a crocodile and an alligator.
Similarly, Mega Tyranitar's shoulder spikes and headpiece could indicate that it is possibly
based on SpaceGodzilla.
Yes that is a real thing, and its awesome.
But enough about the design cause we all know its cool as hell, but what about its battling?
Well I'm glad you asked me uh me… cause whether it's the mega or its regular form
it doesnt really matter beacuse it kicks ass either way.
Tyranitar really has all you need in a great pokemon, Great Stats, awesome movepool, and
a very good ability in sand stream.
The only bad things about this pokemon has to be its speed and dual typing but like ive
stated in the past every pokemon has their flaws.
All in all the only thing bad I can really say about ttar is that it takes so long to
finally get one, but when you finally do, it's well worth the wait.
3 Now when it comes to any gen 2 playthrough
I think the only pokemon I will 100% always pick for my runs has to be the light pokemon
ampharos.
Not because it's good in battle or anything, but because the design like lanturn's is
one of my favorite in the entire series.
But the difference between the 2 and what I find better about ampharos, is that it can
look both adorable and threatening at the exact same time.
The fact that a design can play to multiple emotions can speak volumes on how good this
pokemon is.
Ampharos of course is based on a sheared sheep that its evolutionary line leads up to as
they loose wool with each evolution.
But that's not the entire origin it also shares design tropes with a lighthouse such
as height, stripes, beacons on the top; the 2 even share a name.
(pharos is greek for lighthouse) And battle wise at least for in game use, this thing
was a good asset to the team.
Sure it was slow, but it had a very good special attack and also decent bulk at least on the
special defensive side.
And once X and Y were released this pokemon suddenly became pretty good in competitive
battling too.
With its awesome mega evolution being introduced.
Now most people would be upset to see the added dragon typing but fun fact, Ampharos
during Gold and Silver's development it originally going to be a electric/dragon typing.
So its nice to see something come full circle after all those years.
Now of course since X and Y's release even mega ampharos dropped off a bit but again,
battling isn't the end all be all for a pokemon.
At the end of the day I will always love ampharos no matter what because of all those journey's
I had with it in my playthroughs and because it's so freaking awesome.
2 Starter Pokemon are always a difficult choice
to make, because these guys are the pillar for your pokemon team, so you always have
to choice wisely.
And in this region the three you had to choose from were chikorita, totodile, and cyndaquil
and while I do love me some of that feraligatr ass, typhlosion was always my number 1 go
to.
And to be honest, there really isn't much reasoning as to why, I just like it.
I mean when first looking at all of the baby stages how can you not pick this adorable
thing?
The lack of eyes, cute nose, and the cool fire in the back, gave it a lot of promise
that it was going to evolve into something special.
And even though the changes throughout the line arent that big I still think special
is the perfect word to describe typhlosion.
It's just a very well designed pokemon.
The appearance of this Pokémon is mainly based on the honey badger, but it may also
be reminiscent of weasels and wolverines.
I also really loved to have this pokemon in game because of all the cool moves it had
that I really never saw or remembered at that point.
Eruption, lava plume, flame wheel these were all very cool moves to see.
I will say though gen 6 and onwards really soured my taste on typhlosion.
I mean the decision to only have the flames on its back pop up when it does a move, while
making sense, just really makes the design look basic.
Competitive battle wise it's not that good either and could really do with some form
of help like a mega evolution.
I mean 109 special attack and 100 speed is fine and all but there are way better fire
options out there ( houndoom and delphox) and the movepool just isn't versatile enough
to make it super effective.
But for in game use though, this thing was a monster because really speed and a attack
stat is all you need to be great in game.
In with powerful moves like eruption flamethrower and lava plume on your side where can you
go wrong?
So while I may not have a long rooted history with typhlosion or a complex reasoning as
to why I like it, that doesn't always have to be the case for me to like a pokemon a
lot.
Sometimes it can just be because you think it looks cool.
1 to be honest with you guys I don't really
even want to talk about this pokemon, because I've already done it so many times now that
you pretty much get the point by now.
So to avoid talking about lugia for the 3 time this month now I'm going to be giving
the spotlight to a different pokemon I like.
And this pokemon may surprise you but dang do I love Skarmory.
It's kind of a weird story about this one, because I wasn't actually introduced to
this pokemon in its original generation but rather in the next one to follow up.
With my first game being sapphire, I was lucky enough to run into one just outside of Fallarbor
town.
In addition to that, when I first played Gold and Silver all those years ago I never had
the chance to encounter it as not only does Skarmory not appear in Gold, but it again
only has a 5% encounter rate in Silver.
And as a young kid just trying to rush through and get to the pokemon league as quickly as
possible Skarmory was easily avoidable.
It wasn't until much later with Heartgold and Soulsilver that I had been mistaken this
whole time, which made me much more interested in trying to find one in those games.
ANd I have to say, the hunt for one was certainly worth it, because this thing is so frickin
bad ass.
I love how intimidating it looks in addition to the fact that despite being made of metal,
it's actually light and is able to fly with no issues.
And with many of my favorite pokemon, you know there's some lore behind its design.
Now while the exact bird its based on what could be the andean condor and/or a japanese
crane, the real interesting stuff comes from the greek, russian, and chilean mythology.
The greek Stymphalian (stim-fay-lee-an), which were pets of the lord of the hunt Artemis,
were said to have bronze beaks and metallic feathers that could be thrown at their enemies.
The russian gagana which is said to have an iron beak and copper claws, and finally the
chilean Alicanto, which also has metallic wings, eats gold and silver minerals, and
brings good luck to miners who seem them.
And sure enough, this matches up with Skarmory's regular and shiny color palette.
And the one thing all of these myths have in common are that the are strong birds that
can easily beat you, and that's reciprocated in the games as well, because since its inception,
Skarmory has never left the OU tier.
With having the all powerful steel type in addition to flying, it has very little weaknesses
and many resistances.
It may be slow with pretty average stats overall, but it has super good defense along with a
solid movepool, making it the super bulky and powerful wall that it is.
It also gets sturdy, so that just adds to how difficult this thing can be to face.
So yes, while, technically, Skarmory isn't my true favorite for this generation, I for
sure thing it deserves more attention in credit for being what it is.
A well designed powerful beast that I can't help but love.

What Veterinary Research is Taking Place at Louisiana State University? - Duration: 1:14.
So is there any research that I'm involved in now that I'm excited about?
Well, as an administrator that's dealing with student affairs and veterinary education, there
are a lot of different hats that I'm wearing and the research hat is one of those that
has gotten smaller and smaller as the years have gone on. But I think the research that
I'm most excited about now is that research that I'm collaborating on with some of our
other faculty, and there's really kind of 2 research hats that I'm wearing right now.
One is dealing with liver disease, which is always been that area of veterinary medicine
that I've been fascinated by. And then the other is the veterinary educational side and the student
affairs side.
And some of the research that we've been doing where we've been looking at things like the
things that are setting students up for potentially for depression and anxiety.
The differences between our students and our alumni, relative to those things. So we've
been doing quite a bit of survey work, generating data and looking at that.
That's been very exciting.

CAR T-Cell Therapy for Cancer | Inside Dr. Dean Lee's Lab - Duration: 1:24.
The real breakthroughs in cancer immunotherapy have really come in the
last 5 years or so.
The very first patients treated with CAR-T cells, this this way of taking a cell
from your immune system and making it recognize cancer, had their first really
big responses in this decade. I do like the fact that it's something different
and unexpected and unexplored. I kind of feel like especially for oncology we've
really hashed out chemotherapy pretty hard for the last 50 years and it's not
to say that we won't discover a new chemotherapy agent but the likelihood is
less and less likely. It's about the individual patients. There are unique
things about cancer we might be able to target if we could just train that part
of the immune system to see it. These are treatments that you just can't get
everywhere. What really needs to happen is for us to understand how do we export
a therapy broadly to other institutions? How do we get them to be able to do this
kind of treatment? The best part of my day is seeing the successes, seeing the
patients that we've taken in that didn't have other options that we offered
something that wasn't available or other places wouldn't offer them and had a
success and somebody survived because of it.

DON'T WATH HIS VIDEOS | My Thoughts On Anti Rex 3000 - Duration: 2:05.
Oh my goodness what is going on here?
Anti rex 3000.
An eleven years old kid who's hating everyone who has different opinions than him.
Why would I rant on such a meaningless channel like his?
Because you guys are taking him way too seriously.
I know he's making killing videos and bullies people,
but the way he's doing it is surprisingly hilarious
I just can't take these videos seriously.
I don't think he's dead serious either.
I don't understand how his parents haven't stopped him yet.
I know you guys are pissed off because he's reporting people for no valid reason,
but his fake accounts are not enough to take a channel down.
He attacks every non-aggressive comment that has a different opinion.
He's also hating people for very dumb reasons.
Take Kathy the Leaf Bow as an instance.
He bullied her and made several killing videos on her
because he didn't like the way she draws her character.
So what can we do to stop him?
DON'T *desk abuse*
WATCH *desk abuse*
HIS *desk abuse*
VIDEOS *desk abuse*
If we don't pay attention to his nonsense, he'll get bored of it and stop.
If you can't stop your curiosity and click on his videos
then report it.
If you find it offensive, of course.
Don't even comment under his videos,
only if you think it's necessary and hopefully he'll stop
Also, please support those people who are getting bullied
by Anti Rex and his brainwashed fans.
And I know I promised a King Max rant video, but that drama is kind of dead and I don't
wanna bother anyone with that anymore.

DEADSHOT UNBOXING - ESQUADRÃO SUICIDA - Duration: 5:32.
Hi friends. Here's Markotte
with another vídeo!
This time I bring you,
like I told you in the other video, the unboxing of Deadshot.
This is a character from Suicide Squad,
that in the movie is represented by Will Smith!
And here I am to bring you this small vídeo!
The space is a bit diferente from the usual one. It's all a mess, if you look in the back.
I am organizing all of my movies and figures
that I have in my room.
In the back I have some figures related to the games.
I'm trying that all of that becames occupied
with figures.
Maybe in my next vídeo I'll show
some of the figures!
But let's go to the topic of this video,
that goes by the name of Deadshot!
It came in three pieces
I bought this on Amazon
Here it is the huge box!
It has nothing in the back.
When I saw this edition,
I think it was a good price
If I'm not mistaken, it was either 60 euros or 70 euros.
it's an affordable price.
It's an heavy figure.
It has something written in the neck.
I am the light
the way!
It brings this figure.
Let me try a close up.
I'll explain with the arm is not complete.
Near the end, i'll do a better close up!
I think it's well detailed.
Not that I am an expert on that :P
It was a good purchase,
comparing to the quality of the statue.
Here it is the other piece!
The arm!
It brings a magnet.
And here we have the base of the statue!
It's brutal!
Here we have the two guns.
And now, let's check the final result.
Let's put the arm
and it's placed immediatly.
It goes out
and goes in one second!
And the base has a hole that fits the foot.
I'll try too not ruin this.
It's just this!
It looks brutal!
It will look well on my shelf.
(When I find space)
It is really well made.
It has a small symbol on the heart zone! (I wanted to say chest, but didn't remembered)
The eyes, his aim,
the gun! Damn, it's really cool!
Well friends, this
was the video of this week.
I'll try to bring more vídeos.
I don't have that many ideas now :P
Wait until then!
Now it's time to clean the room!
It's a mess, but I think it will look good.
So If you want to see it,
it could be an idea for my next video!
If you want that kind of video,
leave your comment below.

How does antibody diluent affect staining in Immunohistochemistry (IHC)? | CST Tech Tips - Duration: 2:33.
- What diluent should I use for primary antibody incubation
in immunohistochemistry?
I'm Chris Grange from the IHC group
at Cell Signaling Technology and this is CST Tech Tips.
There are several steps in the IHC protocol
that can impact your results.
In this video, we're going to focus on antibody diluent,
which is the solution that primary antibody
is diluted into for incubation with a tissue sample.
It's important to use an antibody diluent
that works with your particular antibody,
as the choice of diluent can impact
the standing results, sometimes significantly.
The optimal antibody diluent supports
antibody epitope interactions and specificity,
and ultimately, the strength of your staining.
Differences in diluent pH and ionic strength
can increase or decrease specific interactions
of the antibody with its target.
Additionally, diluent properties may affect
non-specific interactions with off-target molecules
and can affect antibody stability.
These problems can be overcome by addition
of serum proteins as stabilizing agents,
along with optimizing the pH.
If that sounds like a lot of work
for you to optimize your protocol,
the good news is that CST recommends
the diluent that should be used with each antibody.
Sometimes customers ask us if they can use
SignalStain diluent with all CST antibodies.
SignalStain antibody diluent does work well
with many of the IHC validated antibodies in our catalog,
but it is not compatible with every one.
For some CST IHC approved products,
stronger signal may be achieved with an alternate diluent
such as TBS-T +5% normal goat serum.
You can find the recommended diluent
for your antibody in the IHC protocol section
of the antibodies product page on cellsignal.com.
Customers also ask what could happen
if they use a diluent other than the recommended one.
Certain CST antibodies may yield nearly identical results
in a wide range of primary antibody diluents.
We have found, however, that some antibodies
are more sensitive to the choice of diluent than others.
This is one of the steps to keep in mind
when troubleshooting low signal intensity.
Thanks for watching.
You can find full protocols, including recommended diluents
for IHC on the antibody product pages at cellsignal.com.
If you have further questions about an antibody
or a protocol, you can reach out to one of our scientists
at cellsignal.com/support.

Good luck with your experiments.

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
106 I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to observe your righteous ordinances.
107 I am severely afflicted; give me life, O Lord, according to your word.
108 Accept my offerings of praise, O Lord, and teach me your ordinances.
109 I hold my life in my hand continually, but I do not forget your law.
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me, but I do not stray from your precepts.
111 Your decrees are my heritage for ever; they are the joy of my heart.
112 I incline my heart to perform your statutes for ever, to the end.
