When an external power supply is connected, power is supplied from there.

And it charges the battery with the remaining electric power.

Thanks to the battery backup circuit, it is possible to smoothly switch this power supply.

Let's do this with PS4.

I checked the PS4 power supply.

PS4 power supply is two lines.

One is 4.8V of a small connector of 4 pins.

The other is 12V of a huge connector.

This is a large capacity of 13A(ampere).

However, it is all about power supply to PS4. There is not enough power to charge the battery.

A large power supply that enables PS4 operation and charging to a large capacity battery is necessary.

For example, replacing the power supply with that for a large gaming note PC ...

Furthermore, a DC/DC converter is prepared. I call it "decodeco" here.

And what if I extract the necessary voltage from the AC adapter through decodeco?

thiamin. This is all about how to manage

your thiamin status.

And today we're going to talk about

managing vitamin B1 status.

Thiamin is very important for energy

metabolism in general, but it's especially

important for carbohydrate metabolism.

So one of the things that you'll see in a

moderate thiamin deficiency is poor

glucose tolerance, hyperglycemia,

or doing better on a low-carbohydrate diet

than on a high-carbohydrate diet.

Classically there are three thiamin

deficiency syndromes that dominate what

we know about thiamin. These are

beriberi, Wernicke's encephalopathy,

and Korsakoff's psychosis.

These generally involve signs and

symptoms like peripheral neuropathy,

which is weakness, numbness, pain, or

tingling in the hands and feet,

impairments in your reflexes, weakness, or

paralysis of the muscles around the eye,

sometimes changes in your heart rate

and heart output. And in the case of

Korsakoff's psychosis, you can get very

severe cognitive changes like amnesia,

making false memories, and being

overcome by apathy.

In these severe cases, thiamin

deficiency can cause seizures, paralysis,

and death, but what we're more likely to

encounter are the moderate deficits that

lead to poor glucose tolerance and poor

ability to handle carbohydrate in the diet.

Why might you get a thiamin deficiency?

Well, this is the interesting

case because most of what there is to

say is not about diet. Dietarily you need

several servings per day of meat, legumes,

whole grains, or enriched grains, meaning

refined grains that have been fortified

with thiamin, which is most refined grains.

If you don't get these foods, you could

have a dietary thiamin deficiency.

This was common back in the day when refined

foods started dominating the diet before

we started fortifying them with thiamin.

It's not so common anymore. Nowadays, you

can imagine that if you're on a high-fat,

ketogenic diet, and you are scared of

protein, and so you're not eating very

much meat, then that, a diet that is

mostly fat, could give you a thiamin

deficiency. But a carnivore can get

enough thiamin. Eat the meat. A vegan can

get enough thiamin. Eat the legumes and

grains. So most people are not going to

have a thiamin deficiency from diet.

With that said, there are several cases where

we know very well that non-dietary

phenomena can lead to thiamin

deficiency. That's with persistent

vomiting, alcoholism, and HIV or AIDS.

In diabetes, the need for thiamin goes up.

There are other things that are less

well understood but are still quite

fascinating that can cause thiamin

deficiency in the environment.

These include thiaminases, which are

enzymes that break down thiamin, and

these can be found in raw fish and

shellfish. Not all of them—we don't

really know all the things that causes

the level of thiaminases to vary in

raw fish and shellfish, but if you eat

a lot of raw fish and shellfish, that

could theoretically contribute to a

thiamin deficiency. Microbes in your gut,

indoor toxic molds, amoebas polluting the

water, varieties of microbes can produce

thiaminases that degrade thiamin.

Sulfite, which is used as a food additive

and which we also produce in our body

when we don't have enough of the mineral

molybdenum in our diet, can also degrade

thiamin. So if you have any signs and

symptoms of thiamin deficiency, and you

have any of these plausible risk factors

that make it make sense that thiamin

could be your problem, the best thing to

do is to verify this with blood testing.

The simplest and easiest test to get that

I would recommend is LabCorp's

thiamin pyrophosphate test in whole blood.

I do not recommend the test that Quest has.

If you want to dive deeper into this

or Health Diagnostics Research Institute.

Your doctor would have to order this.

Your doctor can go to their website, get

the requisition form, and check off the

box that says ETKA. That stands for

erythrocyte transketolase activity.

And if that's low, that's an indicator

of poor thiamin status.

In addition, if you get plasma

amino acids or urinary organic acids, you

could look for elevations of the amino

acid alanine or pyruvate or more

commonly lactate. And in the urine, you

could look for lactate, pyruvate, and

alpha-ketoglutarate, which is also called

2-oxoglutarate. If you see these patterns,

or if you simply see low whole blood

thiamin pyrophosphate, those are all

consistent with thiamin deficiency.

The ultimate test is to see whether these

symptoms and the blood work or urine

work respond well to fixing the thiamin

deficit. If the problem is dietary, fix

the diet first. If the problem is a

medical condition, work with your doctor

on the medical condition. Either to get

better faster or because the underlying

solution is not clear, thiamin

supplementation is a safe and effective

way to replete thiamin status. So in

most cases, 100 milligrams of

thiamin hydrochloride is probably

adequate. There's also a thiamin

supplement called benfotiamine that

might work better for the neurological

problems seen in alcoholism and

diabetes. And there's a thiamin

supplement called thiamin

pyrophosphate, TPP, or thiamin

diphosphate, TDP. This is the active form,

and that's best if you have a problem

activating thiamin to the active form.

We don't know if that happens outside of

alcoholism, but we know that it does happen in

alcoholism, so maybe it also occurs in

other situations. So the simplest thing

is to start with thiamin hydrochloride,

but if you want to trial-and-error your

way through these other thiamin

supplements to see if they give you

more benefit, then that makes sense.

There are no known risks to taking

thiamin supplements. You can find more

I balanced different rocks after work and all the house chores

I was really into it

It was only possible because I did it for fun

I didn't take it seriously at first

I had rocks in my car, home, even at work

I started every day shaping the rocks into the shapes I wanted

I fell asleep with rocks

I started with balancing rocks Then I started uploading the pictures on my blog

It led me to a television show

If I could lift it, I tried to balance it

People ask me how I can balance so many things

Actually

It's pretty simple

You need to understand the principle of balancing

the focus

You need to use gravity

You have to find the center of an object

Then you stand it

I always wanted to move on to the next level

I looked for harder challengers

Usually people put a small object on a large one

But I did the opposite

I balanced a big object on a small object

I challenged myself to do the impossible

However, I made so many mistakes and failures before I tasted success

I'm Alex Cormont, your love and relationship coach from France.

In this video, I want to share with you what is the biggest trouble that I see with the

women that I'm coaching every day.

You need to know something when it comes to love and when it comes to dating our men.

You know, actually, you are in a situation where you want to be engaged, when you want

to find a man that can support you every day.

So when you start a relationship, you want this guy to be involved in the relationship,

you want him to be close to you and to act, to show you that you are in love, to show

you that he's really in love.

The trouble and the biggest mistakes that I'm seeing with the women that I'm coaching

is hope is killing you.

You are hoping that he will change his behavior.

You want him to be more involved and you will think that maybe in the future he will be

acting differently, that he text you, he will call you, he will organize some date.

The trouble with this situation is you are listening the words of a man.

And in this situation, you are not taking the power.

So most of the women that I'm coaching, they hope that the men can change, the man can

maybe more involved in the relationship.

The trouble with that is hope is killing you.

You need to understand something, when a man really like you he will hurt.

He will do some action to come and to show you that you are really important for him.

But at the moment when you say maybe later he will show me love, maybe later he will

be involved in the relationship, you are kidding yourself because you are not living the moment.

You are thinking that maybe in one day or in one week, or in one month he will come

and show you the love that you deserve.

So why am I doing this video?

As you know, I'm the French relationship expert.

I started in 2007 and I have coached more than 20,000 women all over the world.

And there is something that is really important that I call the power in the relationship.

I know this word is hurtful, I know this is something that you don't want to listen because

even for me, seeing that there is a power in a relationship as a love coach makes no

sense.

But this is the reality.

A man needs to be involved, a man needs to show you that you are important.

He needs to act when you tell yourself, "Oh, I will wait.

Maybe one day he will come to me and he will show me that I'm really important for him."

I can tell you this is destructing yourself.

This is the worst mistake that you can do.

Because you are someone, you need to have a man who's involved right now, not tomorrow.

And so how can you work on it, how can you have maybe more confidence?

First thing is to set boundaries.

If a man show you that he's interested in a relationship but he wants to take his time,

you need to be careful.

You need to set boundaries.

For example, no sex, why will give you your body if he doesn't want to be involved in

the relationship, if he doesn't want to be engaged in the relationship, that makes no

sense.

For example, if he's always calling you to meet you and expecting for sex, you will tell

him no way, no way.

We need to create attraction.

I want a real date, I want to do something, I want to live something.

And this is funny because most of the time you're scared.

You will say, "Ah, yeah, Alex, but if I'm acting like you say, maybe this man will leave

me."

The trouble is you don't have this man yet.

He will not leave you because you want more.

This is something really important.

He will leave you when he takes you for granted.

For example, if you want to be in a relationship with him, yes, he will leave you, he will

take you for granted.

But when you ask for more, more moment, more phone, more excitation, more attraction, this

guy will be here, and this is the real answer when it comes to having a real relationship

where this guy deserve you and when you trust yourself.

So first you need to set boundaries.

Second, you need to say this guy is interesting but I need to set my high standard.

You need a man that will fight for you and not the opposite.

This is something really important and I know it is not easy to do it because maybe you

miss self-confidence, maybe it's not easy to find a man that you really like.

Most of the time, it's hard for you to find a man that touch you.

And so when there is a man that touch you, you say, "Oh, this guy is so important for

me."

The trouble is, the relationship or the power is bad, like you don't have the control of

this situation.

And this is why I'm doing all these videos.

I know I have this French accent.

This is not maybe easy for you to understand but I'm here to help you with the comments.

I just want to keep in mind something, the biggest mistake that women are doing in love

is having hope, okay.

Hope that he will change, hope that he would be involved, hope that maybe tomorrow the

situation will be perfect.

This is not the reality.

And this is how man can manipulating you by giving you hope.

Oh, yeah, I don't know, yeah, but maybe in one months you could be my girlfriend.

What is that, one months.

No, you have values and people needs to know that.

To come back to the advice, first, you need to set boundaries.

Second, you need to trust yourself.

You need to have high standard.

Third, you need to enjoy the process of attraction, this is something really important.

Don't be, "Oh, I like this guy.

I'm in a relationship.

I like this, I want to be in a relationship."

No, this is too easy for the man.

You need to have high standard and this is something really important.

Pain is the door to your best self. Don't run from it. Plunge right through it without shame.

I'm supposed to be ashamed to say that I'm from a family that's never done anything great.

That my mother is a nanny

And my father a labourer

And that I'm scared to fail but living way below my potential.

I always knew I was an eagle, born eagle, but living life as a seagull.

Then find some pain to bear Find discomforts to face. Find a barrier to break.
