I Will Make You Fishers of Men August 20, 2018
Thank You, Jesus, for Your kindness, Your patience and the privilege of being given
knowledge of what Your plans for Your Church are in the future.
How humbling it is to know Your heart.
Please, Lord, give us the grace to follow You with pure hearts—in courage.
Amen.
Well, I certainly didn't expect this message!
It really came as a surprise.
I'll go into it in just a minute, but I was expecting to have to re-define things over
and over again for people.
But the Lord doesn't have that in mind at all!
Rather than re-defining the last two messages, He's keeping on going.
He's just moving along.
So...
I'm following!
That's all I can say.
Jesus began, "Clare, put off your robes of mourning and know that this is a new and
a good day, a day with much hope and joy coming to both of you.
I know what it looks like, Clare, but you are not to live by sight—but by Faith.
What I have told you I will do—and it still stands.
I am Faithful, Beloved.
I am so faithful.
"Please, believe in Me.
Trust Me and walk forward.
You have many who are for you on the Channel, and of course, the enemy will attack the little
ones, the weak ones.
But they are to turn to Me for strength.
"My precious children, what more of Myself can I give you?
I have promised you that I am with you in all seasons and circumstances, and I have
kept that promise.
I am making it simple and easy for you to obtain the graces you so long for.
"I know that some of you took the last message very hard and feel heart-broken, yet this
is a misconception of what that message meant.
I want you to have the fullness of the Faith.
And you are among those who are being prepared to be the foundation of what is to come when
I return with you to establish My Kingdom on Earth.
You are being trained and prepared for what is to come in the future.
In fact, you are beginning to live what will be for all of My people around the world.
"Your foundation is intimacy with Me, and keen discernment about the ways of the enemy.
Each one of you have been chosen to remain here with Me, if you so choose, and receive
instruction that will ultimately be the renewal of My Church in a way that is simple, pure,
and without ulterior motives.
Your littleness and desire for Me is what qualifies you."
And just want to take an aside here.
When He said, "Each of you have been chosen to remain here with Me."
He's not talking about the Rapture!
He's talking about the Channel.
Okay?
Jesus continued, "I have taken much time to prepare you and Clare for this calling,
and I have laid a foundation in your spiritual lives.
It is now time to build Truth on that foundation and bring you into the fullness of the Faith
I have always intended you to have.
"You may choose to stay or leave, but I have held you in My bosom and fed you with the
finest wheat.
I have taken particular care to point out to you how the enemy works, so you would be
equipped to hold the precious Treasure of Truth in your vessels without losing any of
it.
"The enemy is now taking the opportunity to divide you and cause controversy.
I have been totally consistent with you, so that you have the tools to discern the lies
that he is trying to pry you apart with.
"I promised I would be with you in all situations and supply for your every need.
To this end, I taught you to receive communion daily and promised My anointing upon that
time.
"I have not in any way let you down; I have been faithful to My Word.
"But I cannot water down My Truth.
I must stand on what I have said and what is written to bring the fullness of Faith
to you.
And I am asking you to be patient with Clare, who has cried many tears that you would understand
and be open to what I am bringing you.
"From the very beginning she wanted to share these things with you, but I was not ready.
And she had to wait.
Which has been very painful for her, because she wanted you to have everything you needed
to grow into the fullness of your callings.
"So, now here we stand on this great journey.
I have broken the ice and torn the veil.
I am showing you the mysteries of your Faith, but I ask you to purify your hearts and let
no vestiges of Religious spirits lodge there, causing you to reject what is written.
The enemy will attempt to do with you what he did with Martin Luther, and drive you away.
But I have prayed for you that your sight would be clear and anointed, that you would
discern Truth from lies, that you would be courageous and fend off nay-sayers around
you.
"The world thrives on gossip and lies, so I have asked you to avoid worldly news.
There is a certain pleasure derived from finding fault with others.
It feeds something inside that is seeking to feel more secure in life, stronger and
better than others.
"But I have taught you that is poison, and unfortunately My Church has been loaded with
poison that has obscured much of the good given her.
"So, now you have a choice: allow the poison to linger in your minds, or reject it and
go back to the very beginning, when the Faith was pure and martyrs were common.
When people renounced wealth and power to belong to Me.
When My Apostles met in modest circumstances and believers flourished in home groups.
"None of My Apostles were learned men, except for the one who betrayed Me.
That should tell you something about those I saw as fit and qualified to follow Me and
carry the Faith forward.
The men I anointed to lead, and chose to be ministers and overseers, did not receive extensive
training and seminary educations.
None of that was necessary, because the Faith was SIMPLE.
Simple enough that a fisherman had no trouble understanding its depths.
"Man is the one who took it upon himself to require education and degrees before one
could be ordained.
But I trained My Apostles in lessons of love, purity, forgiveness, and simplicity to be
foot washers—not prelates sitting on a throne being waited on.
"The requirements I had for ordination were very, very simple.
Love Me with all your heart, your strength and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.
Be willing to give up all for Me.
Be willing to die for Me.
Be willing to go without for Me.
And handle the ewes and lambs with great tenderness and reverence—for in truth, I live inside
of them, and you are touching My very own Body.
"I taught you to beware of marks of honor, long flowing robes, and elaborate vestments
that was the norm of the day for religious leaders.
I taught you by My life, from birth in a manger—to death on a cross, to be stripped of all earthly
significance in order to care for the flock.
"This is what I intended My priests to be.
Not worldly, lettered men driven by greed and power.
This is where we are going if you are willing to come with Me.
There is no glory in it whatsoever…
Nor do I ever wish for it to be that way again.
"So, you see… many of you, both men and women, are well qualified to feed the sheep,
tend to the ewes and lambs and set the example of simplicity for others to follow.
If you hear My voice today, do not harden your hearts, but respond as My mother did,
'Be it unto me according to Your will.'
"And please do not enter into arguments with anyone who wishes to debate.
Your lives are based on intimacy with Me.
You know My heart, My voice.
And for those who wish to argue—it is fruitless and a waste of precious time.
No good can come from it.
Let them dispute and criticize and dissect.
"But you—love and follow Me in simplicity and I will make you fishers of men."

Why doctors are offering free tax prep in their waiting rooms | Lucy Marcil - Duration: 4:56.
How many of you have had your doctor ask you about sex?
Your mental health?
Alcohol use?
These questions are almost universal.
But how many of you have had your doctor ask you about money?
Most of us haven't.
But that is strange, because compared to most high-income countries,
child poverty is an epidemic in the United States.
It creates conditions that may elevate stress hormone levels
and impair brain development.
Poor children in the US are one and a half times more likely to die
and twice as likely to be hospitalized
as their middle-class counterparts.
So my colleague Dr. Michael Hole and I started asking moms about money.
We knew we needed to reimagine what a doctor's visit looks like,
to get kids out of poverty
and to give them a fair shot at a healthy life.
Our questions led to a surprising solution:
tax credits.
It turns out, the earned income tax credit, or EITC,
is the best poverty prescription we have in the US.
The average mom gets two to three thousand dollars a year from it.
When families get it, moms and babies are healthier:
fewer depressed moms,
babies weighing more at birth.
But one out of five families who could get it doesn't,
and most who do lose of hundreds of dollars
to the for-profit tax-preparation industry.
One day, a mom asked us why we couldn't do her taxes
while she waited for the doctor.
(Laughter)
We all know that purgatory. Why not make good use of that time?
So we started StreetCred,
an organization prescribing tax preparation in clinics serving kids.
This is a brand-new approach
and one that left some questioning our sanity.
After all, we're doctors, not accountants.
But we have something accountants don't:
access to families.
Over 90 percent of kids in the US see a doctor at least once a year.
Their parents trust us
and will do anything to give them a better life.
Doctors in every clinic around the country could be doing this work, too --
it's simple, really.
The hospital registers as a tax-preparation site,
and everyone, from medical students to retirees,
can volunteer as a tax preparer after passing an IRS exam.
It's not as hard as it sounds, I promise.
I certainly never thought I would be doing other people's taxes,
but here I am.
We're nearing the end of our third year.
In the first two, we returned 1.6 million dollars
to 750 families in Boston alone.
This year --
(Applause)
This year, we've expanded to nine sites in four states.
Sixty-three percent of our families have never heard of the EITC.
How can you claim something you haven't heard of?
And half have never used free tax preparation.
That two to three thousand dollars a year
goes a long way.
Take hunger.
An adequately nutritious, low-cost diet for a mom and two young kids
costs 477 dollars a month.
With EITC money, that family can eat for five to six months.
Or think about medical care.
Twenty million children in the US lack access to care
meeting modern pediatric standards.
And yet, the average cost of that care is only 400 dollars per kid per year.
EITC money can help fix this access problem.
Perhaps most powerfully of all,
this money gives moms hope.
One mom used her refund for her son to study abroad in Spain.
She was struggling to pay her rent,
but she saw EITC money as his shot at a better future.
We have an opportunity,
as doctors and as citizens,
to get to the root of this problem.
We can reimagine health care
as a place addressing the causes of poor health,
be it infections
or finances.
Thank you.
(Applause)

Using One of the Deadliest Neurotoxins for Beauty... and Medicine? - Duration: 4:31.
[♪ INTRO]
Have you ever seen a celebrity and wondered:
How do they maintain such a smooth, youthful forehead?
Chances are, that celebrity is using a little Botox.
Botox is a prescription drug best known for its cosmetic use, to make wrinkles less noticeable.
It's pretty run-of-the-mill nowadays, but what people might not know is that its active
ingredient is one of the deadliest biological substances known to mankind.
That neurotoxin, called botulinum toxin, is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
We think the first person to try and figure out how it works was German physician Justinus Kerner.
In the early 1800s, he observed muscle weakening, gastrointestinal problems, and eventually
respiratory failure in patients who had eaten spoiled sausages.
So he figured there must be some kind of poison in the meat
that was interfering with their nervous systems.
Half a century later, German physician John Muller called this illness botulism, because
botulus means sausage in Latin.
And then in 1895, the Belgian bacteriologist Émile van Ermengem
was investigating a botulism outbreak and traced it back to some cured ham.
He found C. botulinum in the ham and in the tissues of a couple people who died from the disease.
And, upon further investigation, he isolated botulinum toxin for the first time.
Even today, botulism is usually caused by contaminated food,
and that can even be vacuum-sealed packages, because C. botulinum thrives without oxygen.
If you're unlucky enough to eat it, the bacterium produces botulinum toxin in your gut,
which gets absorbed into your bloodstream and makes its way to your peripheral nervous system.
Normally, the neurotransmitter acetylcholine is released at the neuromuscular junction,
the space or synapse between a neuron and a muscle cell.
There, it's taken up by specific receptors on muscle cells, which makes the muscle contract.
But botulinum toxin blocks the release of acetylcholine, and stops muscle contraction.
Yep, those smooth foreheads and cheeks you see in Botox recipients are because of muscle paralysis.
If you're exposed to a dollop of botulinum toxin,
weakening of facial muscles usually happens first, and then that spreads throughout your body.
And without treatment, botulinum toxin will eventually affect muscles that you need to breathe.
Typically, that treatment includes hospitalization, with antibiotics to kill the bacteria
and an antitoxin to take care of the botulinum toxin.
So there are some serious risks linked with Botox, but the prescription dose is so low
that new nerves can sprout within a couple of months.
And those shiny new synapses mean muscles can contract again.
Now, you might be wondering who would ever inject a deadly poison into their face…
on purpose?
The history of Botox is a little contested, but the first reported use of botulinum toxin
in a clinical setting was in the late 1970s.
At that point, it had been purified from C. botulinum and researchers had shown that injecting
small amounts could relax overactive muscles.
So the opthamologist Alan Scott figured that it could also be used to relax muscles around
the eyes, to treat a condition where they're misaligned called strabismus,
which causes problems with vision and depth perception.
Injecting this neurotoxin weakened the muscle contractions that were
causing his patients' "cross-eyed" appearance.
And it kept them from needing invasive surgery.
Botulinum toxin was also used to treat blepharospasm,
a condition where patients can't always control their eyelids closing.
And in the 1980s, ophthalmologist Jean Carruthers was doing that treatment,
and noticed the skin around one of her patient's eyes and forehead got a little less wrinkly.
In a potentially risky move,
Carruthers went ahead and injected the frown lines of her receptionist,
marking the first cosmetic use of botulinum toxin.
After much more testing to figure out how much botulinum toxin was safe
to administer and where, Botox was approved by the FDA on April 15, 2002.
Beyond its cosmetic uses,
researchers are looking into the muscle-relaxing quality of Botox for medical purposes.
Like, certain injection sites seem to help with chronic migraines and excessive salivation.
Or specific muscle groups can be targeted to lessen the movement problems that come
with disorders like multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy.
And that list is only growing.
Because Botox is an FDA-approved drug,
it can be prescribed by a licensed physician for any condition.
That being said, the safety and effectiveness of Botox to treat many medical problems
hasn't been established by the FDA yet.
So there's a lot of ongoing research to better understand the short-term and long-term risks.
For now though, the take-home message is: inject at your own risk.
And whether you're staving off forehead wrinkles or looking to avoid migraines,
Botox is another amazing example of human ingenuity: re-engineering a deadly toxin for potential good.

Donald Trump's Lawyer Gave Robert Mueller Some Very Bad News - Duration: 11:49.
Donald Trump's Lawyer Gave Robert Mueller Some Very Bad News
One question has been hovering over Robert Mueller's rigged witch hunt against President
Trump.
Will Trump sit for an interview with the special counsel and his team of biased prosecutors?
Donald Trump's lawyer may have finally answered that question and what he said is very bad
news.
Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani appeared on CNN's "New Day" for a 45 minute marathon interview.
At one point, he addressed the question of President Trump sitting for an interview with
Mueller.
Giuliani stated that although Trump wants to tell his side of the story, he cannot recommend
an interview because the Mueller team is acting in bad faith.
"I think the odds are against it.
But I wouldn't be shocked because he wants to do it so badly.
And you know, on the negotiations about this, when they respond, they've been reasonable.
And then they don't respond."
"They haven't gotten back to us in 10 days over our recommendation of how to do
an interview.
I am sure they are in bad faith about an interview at that point," Giuliani continued.
In addition to Mueller's bad faith negotiating tactics, the special counsel is facing increasing
scrutiny over his conflicts of interest and the anti-Trump bias that is rampant among
his staff.
President Trump tweeted:
Is Robert Mueller ever going to release his conflicts of interest with respect to President
Trump, including the fact that we had a very nasty & contentious business relationship,
I turned him down to head the FBI (one day before appointment as S.C.) & Comey is his
close friend..
….Also, why is Mueller only appointing Angry Dems, some of whom have worked for Crooked
Hillary, others, including himself, have worked for Obama….And why isn't Mueller looking
at all of the criminal activity & real Russian Collusion on the Democrats side-Podesta, Dossier?
When asked by CNN to describe Mueller's business relationship with Trump Giuliani
said it was up to Mueller to explain his conflict, but he did state the business dispute between
Trump and Mueller was serious enough that if he was the prosecutor and had that type
of conflict it would have kept him out off the case.
"I can't tell you.
I'm not sure I know exactly what the conflict is.
I have a good idea what it is, it's one that would have kept me out of the investigation,"
Giuliani stated.
Reports indicate Trump's accusations of Mueller having a conflict of interest centers
on two issues.
One is believed to be a fight Mueller had over membership dues when the then-FBI Director
resigned as a member of Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia.
The second is that Trump interviewed Mueller for the position of FBI Director after he
fired James Comey.
The President passed over Mueller in favor of current Director Christopher Wray.
Trump continues to correctly attack the legitimacy of the Mueller probe.
The entire investigation is based on a fake news hoax that the Trump campaign colluded
with Russia.
And it is being led by Mueller – who the President points out has multiple conflicts
of interest.
We will keep you up to date on any breaking developments in Robert Mueller's rigged
witch hunt against President Trump.

What Does Pornography Do to Your Brain? - Duration: 6:12.
[INTRO ♪]
For better or worse, the internet brings people together from distant corners of the world, and has information on every conceivable topic.
And, of course, that includes porn.
There's some debate about how much of the internet is actually pornographic content.
But if you look for it, you'll find it.
So how does it affect people's brains, attitudes, and behaviors?
The short answer is, it's complicated, and there's a lot we don't know.
But we have studied some of the risks—and yes, even possible benefits—of watching pornography.
So you know, some of these studies talk about disturbing behaviors like sexual violence and rape.
Just in case you would like to avoid those things.
Most research on pornography is correlational.
There aren't volunteers who get randomly assigned to watch a bunch of explicit videos to see what happens to their brains.
Instead, lots of studies involve surveys, asking people about their behaviors and traits, in addition to how much porn they watch.
On top of that, everyone who participates needs to consent to being in a study about pornography, which might mean some people self-select out of this.
All that to say: we can't be sure if these findings apply to everyone or even most people, but they're a start.
Some research has found that watching a lot of pornography might reflect differences in people's brains, especially in a part called the striatum.
The striatum is involved in reward processing, and consistently gets activated during sexual arousal—among other regions.
Sexual arousal is a workout for a lot of your brain.
Two MRI studies tested about 70 male participants by showing them sexy pictures.
And the men who felt their pornography use was addictive or problematic had more activity in the ventral striatum compared to those who didn't.
Another study found that how much porn men watched was negatively correlated with the size of a part of the striatum called the right caudate,
as well as the connectivity between the striatum and other parts of the brain.
The researchers of that last study say it's possible that people who watch a lot of pornography stimulate this reward system a lot, and actually rewire their brain to need more stimulation.
But they also note that these brain differences might not be caused by porn.
In other words, people with a smaller striatum may need more stimulation to experience pleasure, and seek out more pornography.
With this kind of correlational research, you can't really tell which of the two it is.
Another question that comes up a lot is whether viewing pornography can be cathartic—
basically, a safe outlet for certain emotions.
For instance, psychologists have tried to study how it affects aggression.
If you look at the general pattern across the U.S., as pornography has become easier to access over the past few decades, rates of violent crime like rape have gone down.
And there's a similar pattern if you look at when pornography has become widely available in other countries, too.
But, like we mentioned before, this is just a correlation and not all studies show this link.
For example, a 2016 meta-analysis in the Journal of Communication looked at 22 different studies that asked people about their porn viewing and self-reported sexual aggression—
things like using force, verbal harassment, or other threatening behaviors.
And they found that more porn viewing was related to higher levels of verbal and physical sexual aggression, particularly if the porn had violent content.
This suggests that behavioral modeling might be at work:
that people who see a behavior in others—even on a screen—are more likely to do it themselves.
So psychologists have tried to make sense of these contradictory data.
One 2012 study published in the Journal of Criminal Justice might help shed some light:
the relationship between porn and aggression could have to do with timing.
The researchers asked over 600 adult men who were convicted of sex crimes about their history of watching pornography.
They found that regularly watching pornography during adolescence was linked with more severe crimes committed as adults, including more humiliation of their victims,
so maybe early exposure to aggressive sexual behavior played a part in that.
And if the convicts had reported viewing porn just before their offense, their crimes were less severe, so catharsis may have been involved.
But there are also lots of factors that lead to violent crime.
So, again, without causal evidence, we don't know if or how pornography is directly linked.
Plus, the sample sizes of studies like that are relatively small, because most people don't commit violent crimes.
It's a little easier to measure something like sexism, since anyone can report their attitudes about men and women.
And do, all the time. It's the internet.
According to two studies published in the Journal of Sex Research in 2015 and 2017 that looked at the habits of tens of thousands of Americans,
using pornography is associated with more egalitarian views—things like wanting women in the workplace and in positions of power.
But the story is different when it comes to rape myths, like the idea that what someone's wearing can excuse violence against them.
Surveys of hundreds of college students have found that men and women who view porn—especially violent porn—are more likely to believe rape myths.
Finally, when it comes to your overall well-being, several studies suggest that whether porn is good or bad for you may depend on whether you think it is.
One study of over 2000 people found that watching porn was linked with an increase in self-reported symptoms of depression.
But that effect was mainly seen in the 10% who watched despite their moral opposition to it.
The researchers supposed that those people were distressed by the dissonance between their moral ideals and their actions.
For those who weren't morally opposed, only the people who watched pornography, like, several times a week or more reported more symptoms of depression.
And the researchers figured the opposite could be happening here:
these people may be depressed and using porn to cope.
So there do seem to be some risks associated with watching a lot of pornography, but it might not be all bad.
More than anything, we need more research to really know if and how much it affects us.
Because psychology, and the human brain, and our behavior? It's complicated.

Meghan Markle puts father drama behind her with FLURRY of engagements with Prince Harry - Duration: 2:33.
Kensington Palace announced a cluster of engagements on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Twitter page this afternoon
The first announcement was that the newlyweds would attend a gala performance at the Victoria Palace on August 29, followed 60 minutes later by another tweet announcing they would also attend the annual Well Child Award at The Royal Lancaster Hotel on September 4
And as if that was not enough to keep busy bee Meghan occupied, just 40 minutes later the palace announced they would also attend another gala for Help for Heroes on September 6 at Central Hall to mark the centenary of the end of WW1
The quick-fire announcements triggered an excited reaction from social media users
One Twitter user said: "This couple is awesome. Keep rising above the petty and silly gossip!" Another gushed: "OMG another engagement! Please keep them coming!" The list of events come days after yet another damaging interview Thomas Markle, 74, gave where he compared the royal family to a "cult"
He told The Sun: "They are either like Scientologists or the Stepford family. "If they hear anybody say anything they just lock the doors
They need to speak up! "They are cult-like — like Scientology — because they are secretive
"They close the door, pull the shades down and put their fingers in their ears so they don't have to hear
" He added: "Maybe they have a secret handshake too! You cannot ask a question of them — as they won't answer
" Mr Markle, who resides in Mexico, has made several desperate attempts to reconnect with his daughter, 37, after it emerged he had posed for staged pictures in exchange for cash
The pictures showed the former lighting director being fitted for a suit for the May 19 wedding and reading up on the royal family
The scandal came out just days before the wedding and Mr Markle pulled out of walking Meghan down the aisle
Prince Charles stepped in at the last minute while Mr Markle said he had suffered a heart attack
In Meghan's birthday card sent to her two weeks ago, Mr Markle wrote "I didn't fake the heart attack

Living the American dream abroad | CNBC Profiles - Duration: 3:44.
I feel like I'm living the global dream.
I think the American dream is a bit outdated in the sense that
it can happen anywhere. It doesn't have to be in America.
My name is Carol, and I'm the founder of Covetella.
Covetella is basically where you come when you need a dress, either a last minute or for a special occasion.
And instead of spending lots of money buying it, you can actually just rent it.
Love this one as well.
My parents emigrated from Taiwan to do the whole American Dream.
My dad was the first in his family to go to college.
My mom had to work as a waitress, and I was actually born in Colorado.
We moved to Mississippi before we went to Texas. Now my parents are very well established in Dallas.
It's kind of ironic that now that they've established themselves in the U.S.,
I'm coming back to Asia to establish myself.
Really important to have everything online so that we can check out our products.
Coming from the U.S. I knew Rent the Runway was doing really well.
But when I came over here when I needed to have a dress for an event
there really wasn't anything that I could find within my budget.
So, in the beginning, it was really tough because coming from the U.S. I was used to people renting and buying
secondhand things, but Asia's a bit different. They were slower to pick up on the rental trend.
A lot of people still have the mentality that secondhand clothing is dirty,
and they don't want to wear something that somebody else has already worn.
Because we were bootstrapped, I didn't have a lot of budget to hire people.
So a lot of times it was just me or one other person.
I basically built my company on interns.
There were times where I literally slept in my office because we had major deadlines to hit.
There are so many days when I just want to give up, probably every quarter I say I'm going to quit.
But that's just kind of the challenges of entrepreneurship.
We actually have a maternity line coming out.
No?
Yes.
The thing about the U.S. is it's definitely a bigger market, and so there's definitely advantages for that.
But I don't think I could have established Covetella so fast in the U.S. because there's much more competition.
And also trying to get to know the right people.
Today we're doing this event with Perrier-Jouët, and we have Guerlain sponsoring thousands of dollars
worth of makeup. These are partnerships that are just a phone call, one connection away.
In Singapore, you're like two degrees away from everybody you need to know.
Whereas I think in the U.S. you probably have to work a lot harder
to get to know the people that you need to know.
I mean, her workshops run for hundreds of dollars, so we got a really good deal tonight.
There are times obviously when I miss my friends and my family, and I'll go back to the U.S. once a year.
But I just don't feel it's as exciting as Asia, especially Southeast Asia. Everything is just booming here.
E-commerce is just getting started. There are new brands that launch every week here.
I just feel it's such a vibrant growing economy, and there's so much more potential to grow
and establish new kinds of businesses.
I definitely tell all my interns and my siblings as well:
don't be afraid to explore opportunities in Asia because there's so much here.
I love being an expat.
The U.S. will always be my home, and I probably will end up back there.
But you can learn a lot more being put outside your comfort zone in a new country
than just being comfortable where you are.
I'll always be grateful because it's given my parents that lifestyle
where they have the freedom to do what they want.
But I don't think it's limited to the U.S. anymore.

Police 'threaten' Game of Thrones star's ex as he campaigns for Fathers4Justice - Duration: 3:27.
The ex-husband of Game Of Thrones star Lena Headey is said to have been stopped by police as he protested outside Buckingham Palace
Campaign group Fathers4Justice say Peter Loughran was warned by armed police that he'd be arrested as he busked outside of the London tourist attraction and royal residence today to show his support for the cause
Peter Loughran, 39, from Leeds, is the ex-husband of Lena, who plays Cersei Lannister in the fantasy epic
They share a son, Wylie Loughran, who was born in 2010. Peter and Lena divorced in 2013 and became embroiled in a legal battle
In 2016, it was reported that Lena had refused to return to the US with her son, and instead enrolled him in a Yorkshire school because she prefers the education system in the UK
TMZ reported at the time that Peter claimed in legal documents that his ex-wife had agreed to return their son from the UK when she finished filming Game Of Thrones
But Lena allegedly claimed that Peter had agreed to allow their son to live in the UK with her
Representatives for Fathers4Justice have told Mirror Online that officers threatened to arrest Peter if he continued to perform outside of the Royal Parks
He displayed a piece of cardboard with '#ShameOfThrones' written on it as he performed songs like Guns N Roses' Sweet Child O' Mine and From Now On from movie The Greatest Showman
Peter said: "Given busking is allowed on public land and music is performed every day at Buckingham Palace, I assumed nobody would object to my playing a few songs in support of Fathers4Justice
"I came to Buckingham Palace as 200 children lose contact with their dads in the family courts
This is done in the name of the Queen, whose Royal Coat of Arms hangs in every court and where judges are representatives of the crown
"What better place than Buckingham Palace to announce my support for Fathers4Justice, scene of some of their most infamous protests
" Matt O'Connor, founder of Fathers4Justice, added: "Peter has kindly given his time today to raise awareness about the forced separation of children from their fathers in secret family courts and the plight of the 3m children who live in fatherless homes
We are delighted to welcome him on board." Hairdresser Peter is going to release a Christmas single in support of the campaign later this year
He was spotted busking in Leeds earlier this year, with sources saying the legal battle with his ex had wiped him out
The insider told The Sun : "Peter has been wiped out financially over the last few years
It has been very tough on him and he is struggling. "He has gone from living the life of a millionaire in Hollywood to living in Leeds on benefits
His friends are worried about how he is coping. "He hasn't been able to get work cutting hair, so is now busking to make a bit of money for himself
" Mirror Online has contacted Lena's representatives for comment. Metropolitan Police say they have no log of the incident

Paintings by Tracy Anderson Gravning - Duration: 1:26.
I'm Tracy, and I'm a visual storyteller. I use the oil as my medium.
I use the realism technique as a communication tool that brings many people together.
And I also paint with the chiaroscuro technique - as you can see -
extreme lights and darks. I like to capture the moments,
and to paint those moments as beauty.
Most of the time my subject matter tends to be people, and what happens is,
I love the beauty of the curve of the male and the female bodies.
The light dances across what I'm painting and it just excites me more as I work through what I'm working on.
And, so, I hope that as you look at my work you see parts of my heart.
You see, I'm wanting to evoke emotion from you, but I can capture your eye from across the room.
But I hope you can see, and appreciate, my perspective in how I choose to paint.
I do a lot of my own work, but, I also do a fair amount of commissions.

Josie Totah: 5 Facts About 'Glee' Star Who Revealed She's Transgender In Powerful Essay - Daily News - Duration: 3:11.
Actress Josie Totah penned a remarkable essay for 'Time' that revealed that the 17-year-old is transgender
Read her essay about transitioning, and learn more about her here! Josie Totah is not afraid
The star of shows like Champions and Glee just wrote a powerful piece for Time Magazine in which she reveals that she's a transgender young woman
The 17-year-old said that she was wary of coming out as trans, but is now "ready to be free
" Learn more about her journey, and her life: 1. At first, Josie identified as LGBTQ, not transgender
"In the past, I've halfway corrected people by telling them I identify as LGBTQ," she wrote in her Time essay
"I wasn't ready to be more specific. I was afraid I wouldn't be accepted, that I would be embarrassed, that the fans who knew me from the time when I acted in a Disney show would be confused
But I realized over the past few years that hiding my true self is not healthy. I know now, more than ever, that I'm finally ready to take this step toward becoming myself
I'm ready to be free. So, listen up y'all: You can jump on or jump off. Either way this is where I'm heading
" 2. She wants to finally play female roles. Josie is starting college this week, after her NBC show Champions got cancelled
But she still wants to act, specifically in female roles. "I plan to play roles I haven't had the opportunity to play," she wrote in her essay
"And I can only imagine how much more fun it's going to be to play someone who shares my identity, rather than having to contort myself to play a boy
I'm going to gun for those roles, be it a transgender female or a cisgender female
Because it's a clean slate — and a new world." 3. She realized she was transgender while watching I Am Jazz
Josie said she always knew deep down that she was a girl, but it didn't "crystalize" until she saw an episode of I Am Jazz when she was 14
"The docuseries was about another 14-year-old, Jazz Jennings, a transgender girl who was going through a medical transition
As I learned more information about hormone replacement therapy, I knew that this was what I had to do
I looked over at her in the middle of the show and said, 'This is me. I'm transgender
And I need to go through this.' My mother, who is immensely supportive and gracious, said, 'Okay, let's do it
' Three days later I was meeting with my pediatrician, who referred me to a specialist, who put me on a hormone blocker
From that point on, I hit the ground running." 4. She has the support and love of her costars
Mindy Kaling, the creator and writer of Champions, also the actress who played Josie's mother, showered her with praise on Twitter after she published her essay
"I love you, Josie. I'm so glad you're able to speak your truth and live as your authentic self
You're also so damn talented — I can't wait to write for you again!" I love you, Josie
I'm so glad you're able to speak your truth and live as your authentic self. You're also so damn talented – I can't wait to write for you again! ❤️💕❤️💕❤️ https://t
co/OjIoI9Wpb3 — Mindy Kaling (@mindykaling) August 20, 2018 5. You may also recognize Josie from Glee

A Body of Work: Jessica Matson-Fluto - Duration: 1:10.
This is my body of work.
It consists of prints, drawing, and paintings.
I currently work primarily with the female form. For me, it's just, always, an evolving symbol
that I use in my work. It can represent, basically,
isolation.
The female form is a voyeur,
a vehicle for life, or basically whichever concepts I'm working towards at the time.
And, also self-portraits are are quite prevalent in my work too, and every year they evolve.
Basically what medium I use just depends on my mood for the day, so I'm sort of all over the place.
But I think it's a good thing as an artist to have that variety available to you,
If you'd like to see more art you can visit my website, or my Facebook page which is just Jessica Matson-Fluto Art.

Super League boss Robert Elstone gives Toronto verdict after Canadian visit - Daily News - Duration: 2:55.
</form> Super League chief executive Robert Elstone says the whole competition can learn from Toronto Wolfpack after his first visit to a game in the Canadian city
Elstone had been publicly cautious about the prospect of the Wolfpack joining Super League, and admits there are still travel logistics that need to be fully assessed
But after watching Saturday's narrow defeat to Hull KR his overriding impression of the club's approach was positive
Elstone told Mirror Sport: "When I started in the job, I talked about the need for us to be young, confident and ambitious
"I couldn't think of three better words to describe Toronto. "It felt young, bright and relevant
"They've created an environment and atmosphere we should capture and promote across the whole of Super League
"I'm certain we can all learn from how they've connected with a younger audience – the one so critical for Super League's future
"It's a vision created by owner David Argyle and it was good to spend time with him
"Repeating the attributes I think are really important for Super League, he's certainly ambitious – for the Wolfpack and the sport; he's confident – really believes he and his team can deliver; and it's young – he's talking with, and bringing into the club, a demographic the sport has to connect with
"Toronto is a fantastic city, and one that anyone would enjoy visiting. "They were wonderful hosts, proud of their city and their club – who looked after us really well
"There were smiling faces everywhere - that refreshingly positive and genuine 'happy to help' attitude that we can all learn from
"I was impressed by the Wolfpack fans. "They were passionate and knowledgeable fans, and so pleased we'd come to see them
"They knew us by name, they shook our hands and hoped we'd come back." Elstone travelled to and from Toronto with Hull KR's squad which also offered him an insight into the travelling involved for away teams
He added: "It was, of course, a long trip. "Rovers left Hull on Wednesday evening and didn't get home until Monday night, finishing up with a long coach trip home from Glasgow Airport - grateful no doubt for the Wembley weekend
"That takes a lot out of a team. "If Toronto does earn its place in Super League next year, we have to be certain we can manage and fund the obvious logistical challenges of weekly transatlantic travel as well as avoid undermining - actual or perceived - the competition
"Rovers were great hosts for me and I'd like to thank the club, and Tim Sheens in particular, for allowing me on to their trip
"They were great ambassadors for Super League."

All I ever think about is your pretty face
Pretty body line, with a little taste

They're exchanging distasteful conversations with you
It's a problem when they too intrusive Gotta throw them deuces
Chill with me Oh please help me cupid
Too bad too bad too bad too bad
You had to come without your friends
I noticed you were uncomfortable
We can blow this off and go on a date
Of all the people I've met so far, you're closest to my style
Please smile often, with the best smile
You got it you got it
Imma have to do something about it
Baby, I can't breathe because of you
Aiming so high ma bae
Before we leave from here

Pull it back and I shoot
Shoot it quickly
Hey cupid why you hiding (Shoot on and shoot on)

My cupid where you at right now (Shoot on and shoot on)
What brand of jeans you be rocking
When you walk in that pair of well-fit jeans
It's like you're on the Korea's Next Top Model runway
That's because you're cat walking, they watching
With more and more eyes on you, you keep it one hunnit
Where did you get that chicness from, seriously
I'm nervous but I'm about to say hello to you
Too bad too bad too bad too bad
You had to come without your friends
I noticed you were uncomfortable

Elvis Presley - Reconsider Baby [with lyrics] - Duration: 3:47.
Well so long
Oh how I hate to see you go
Yes so long
Oh how I hate to see you go
Well the way that I will miss you
I guess you'll never know
We've been together so long
To have to separate this way
We've been together so long
To have to separate this way
Well I'm gonna let you go ahead on baby
But let you come back home some day
Play the blues boys, play the blues
One more time
You said you once had loved me
But now I guess you've changed your mind
You said you once had loved me
But now I guess you've changed your mind
Why don't you reconsider baby
Give yourself just a little more time
